TNA iMPACT preview! April 24th 2008 – From the iMPACT zone, Orlando!
We are just one week away from the most important iMPACT broadcast in history, the LIVE broadcast next week from the Impact zone! We are also just seventeen days away from TNA’s next Pay Per View, Sacrifice! Tonight we continue our build up to next weeks’ Impact and we will get more match announcements for both next week and Sacrifice, as well as all the fallout from the dramatic Impact last week!
Last week on Impact in the main event the team of World Champ Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash picked up a big victory over the team over Kurt Angle and AJ Styles, after the team of Robert Roode and Scott Steiner were eliminated from the contest. The finish came when AJ Styles accidentally hit his partner Kurt Angle with the Pele, after being temporarily blinded by Samoa Joe. That allowed Kevin Nash to take advantage and pick up the win for his team. Kurt Angle is sure to be far from happy with AJ Styles, and with their match at Sacrifice coming up it is bound to cause problems between them. Tonight AJ Styles and Kurt Angle will team up again to face off against Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash in tag action, but what will Kurt Angle’s reaction be to what happened last week? And can Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash co-exist just a week away from the big fatal four-way World title match next week?
During the same match last week the team of Robert Roode and Scott Steiner were eliminated from the contest, after brawling to the back with each other. The problems started before the match when Robert Roode visited Steiner’s locker room and the two got into a heated argument. Next week they will meet in the world title fatal four-way, but tonight they will get their hands on each other when they face off one-on-one in singles action. Who will come out on top and show their dominance heading into the title match next week? Will Robert Roode continue his impressive streak? Or will Scott Steiner stop the arrogant youngster?
Last week it was announced that Christian Cage would take on his former partner and best friend Tomko at Sacrifice. But with a few weeks to go until then there are bound to be problems between the two. Tonight both Tomko and Christian will be at Impact, and with tensions running high after last week there could be problems. Will they cross paths tonight?
Tag team champions LAX will be in action for the first time since winning the titles tonight, as they team with Booker T to take on Team 3D and Johnny Devine. LAX will be looking to get off to a good start as champions, and Booker T will be looking to put a good run of victories together after his loss to Robert Roode at Lockdown. Will the fan favorites pick up the win? Or will Team 3D and Brother Devine pick up an impressive win?
“Sensational” Shannon Moore has been on an impressive run since debuting in TNA, winning on both his PPV and TV debut. Tonight he will be in action again against a fellow X Division star. Will his impressive run come to an end? Or will he continue his good run and gain more momentum as we head towards his title match at Sacrifice?
Also on iMPACT, the rivalry between Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal continues just a week away from their X Division title Ladder match!
And will anyone accept Awesome Kong’s challenge to a title match at Sacrifice?
And TNA Management’s Jim Cornette will open the show with announcements regarding the Live Impact broadcast next week!

Smackdown has just been posted, the last show before the Rumble. It features all 3 sides of the World Championship match in Pick Your Poision fun while there is also a Battle Royal
Wrote a few matches yesterday in my WCW BTB. I have prolly 1/5 of it written. Hopefully I get a writers bug soon so I can get that show done and start posting some.

ECW; Viewer Discretion Advised! JUDGMENT DAY PREVIEW;
It all started at Wrestlemania 24. Before the official Pay Per View had even started, there was a huge chance for several superstars to get the ultimate opportunity. It was an over the top rope battle royal that would determine a number one contender for the ECW Championship. Not only would the winning superstar get contention to the title, but they would get thier title shot later on that night against the ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero. After a greuling fight and several eliminations, it would be Kane who advanced to the "Grandaddy of them all!" Later that night, Chavo Guerrero made his entrance, and Kane would make his from behind Guerrero...chokeslamming him and pinning him to become the new ECW Champion in just over 8 seconds.
For the next few weeks on ECW, we would see the two go back and forth, mainly because of Chavo's determination to regain the Championship. Each and every time he tried, he failed. Guerrero continued the journey though, often getting other superstars in on his attacks and schemes. The most recent of which was RAW superstar, Ken Kennedy. Before that though, Kane and Chavo met again at Backlash, where once again, Kane was the victor. After a brief network fall-out, ECW returned to Sci-Fi and that's when the new alliance of Ken Kennedy and Chavo Guerrero was revealed. The two went on a rampage, repeatedly attacking Kane, and in the process, injured Tommy Dreamer indefinitely. With a little unexpected help from an old partner named Rob Van Dam, Kane survived more attacks from Guerrero and Kennedy, and with the rivalry heating up so much, it's come down to now....JUDGMENT DAY.
For the last time, Chavo Guerrero and Kane will fight for the ECW Championship in a Tables Match! Chavo vows that this time, he won't fail. Kane on the other hand, promises to take Chavo and his dreams of being champion again, straight to hell! -- Many expected that Ken Kennedy or RVD would play a part in the match, but ECW General Manager announced, shortly after making the match, that if either Kennedy or Rob Van Dam interfered in the match, ALL FOUR men would be FIRED.
Just days away from a hellacious match between two very determined superstars...JUDGMENT DAY...IS UPON US!!
