Impact 3/27/08 Preview
The Genetic Freak Takes On The Samoan Submission Machine
”Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner will face Samoa Joe this Thursday. Can Joe keep his cool and concentrate on the match. Will Matt Morgan be in the building? Will Kevin Nash “release the reins” and let Joe at Jim Cornette?
Pride Division #1 Contender's Match
Last week “The Notorious 187” Homicide booked himself a spot in the #1 contender's match by defeating Rellik. He will battle Pride Division Tournament finalist Frankie “The Future” Kazarian for a chance to meet TNA-NG Pride Division Champion “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams the following week with the gold on the line. Will Homicide show that he is just as skilled under Pride rules as he is in a tag team environment? Or will we see a rematch of the sizzling Rebirth co-main event that has been so talked about?
Melissa's Impact In-Ring Debut
After an extremely impressive showing in the Women's Battle Royal at Rebirth and an emphatic statement the following Thursday on Impact, Cheerleader Melissa makes her TNA-NG singles debut as she battles the original knockout Traci Brooks.
Also: Shark Boy will be in action against Johnny Devine. “The Olympic Gold Medalist” Kurt Angle will be in the building as will Robert Roode. You can bet Booker T will be there too. Will we get an answer to Booker T's challenge for a Texas Death Match inside Six Sides of Steel at Lockdown?
Show is up now. Check it out! Link in sig as always

PREVIEW
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18. 2008.

This Monday night, Raw comes to you live from the Save Mart centre, in Fresno California. It will be a 3 hour special, packed with action from start to finish, as only you can find in the WWE. With just 24 hours since No Way Out took place, what repercussions will there be for all involved, as the set about travelling the road to WrestleMania 24?

TURBULANT TRIANGLE!
Last night at No Way Out, the Game, Triple H overcame the odds and defeated the Legend Killer, Randy Orton to become the new WWW champion of the world. However there was just as much drama before the match as there was during the match up itself. Early in the evening, it became apparent Stephanie McMahon had not shown up at the arena and therefore there would be no guest timekeeper in the WWE title match up. In order to even the playing field, the Game took it on himself to take out the guest referee, who just happened to be the chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon. Sledgehammer in hand, the Game brutally attacked Mr McMahon in his office. What actions will Mr McMahon take tonight to get even with the Game? Speaking of getting even, Stephanie McMahon is baying for blood after being held hostage by Randy Orton for over three hours. Stephanie has promised to get revenge tonight on Raw, but what exactly does she have in mind?

BETRAYAL’S AND ATTACK’S
It was a match CM Punk had been anticipating for weeks, a match in which he would finally be able to get his hands on Tommy Dreamer, a man who has made his life hell of late. With RVD offering to watch CM Punk’s back, it seemed the champion would get his revenge and leave No Way Out victorious and still the champion. However in a shocking twist, Sunny, CM Punk’s manager and girlfriend, attacked him, allowing Tommy Dreamer to beat CM Punk and become the new ECW champion. Tonight on Raw, how will CM Punk respond and will Sunny explain her shocking actions?
The ongoing feud between The Great Khali and the fighting Irishman Finlay came to a head inside the Punjabi prison at No Way Out. Both men battled for over ten minutes in a brutal confrontation. As both men shed blood, it was Finlay with the help of a shillelagh that gained the upper hand, escaping the inner Punjabi prison. As Finlay began to climb over the outer structure, victory seemed certain, but it was not to be. In a surprise attack, Mr Kennedy prevented Finlay from escaping and allowed Khali to gain the advantage. The Great Khali went on to victory, thanks to the assist from Kennedy. Tonight on Raw, Mr Kennedy takes on Shawn Michaels, but will Finlay make an appearance?

A DOUBLE RETURN!
The prospect of the Undertakers return to the WWE had been giving the R Rated superstar, Edge sleepless nights for several weeks now. When Paul Bearer returned, he promised us that the “rebirth” of the Undertaker was imminent. Edge tried to discredit the claim, declaring that The Undertaker was gone forever. However, at No Way Out, just 24 hours ago, The Undertaker returned and sent Edge a message. He wants a match at WrestleMania 24. How will Edge react and what will his answer be to The Undertakers challenge? The Undertaker wasn’t the only superstar to return last night at No Way Out. Matt hardy, following a lengthy absence from the WWE due to injury returned and confronted the man who put him on the shelf in the first place, MVP. Matt hardy claimed that he soon would become the United States champion, but for that to happen, he will have to beat MVP. Tonight on Raw, Matt Hardy has stated he is going to call MVP out!

THE PLOT THICKENS
Last Thursday night on Smackdown, two detectives carried out an investigation into the drugging of Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie was warned to stay out of the way, but being Stephanie, she couldn’t help but get involved. In the end, the detectives got themselves a lead, when the WWE makeup artist claimed that WWE diva Melina had been acting very strangely the night of the incident. Is Melina the mystery attacker, could it be? Tonight on Raw Stephanie plans to find out and has ordered WWE commissioner William Regal to send Melina to Stephanie’s limousine as soon as she arrives at the area. This can only mean one thing, trouble! The question is, will Stephanie be more focused on getting answers out of Melina tonight on Raw, or getting revenge on the former WWE champion randy Orton, after he took her hostage at No way Out. Only time will tell.

THE GLOVES ARE OFF!
On Friday evening, February 15th, Jim Ross flew to North Carolina. There he was greeted by Ric Flair and his family at there home. Then, on Saturday, February 16th, the day before No Way Out, Jim Ross flew to California, LA to be exact, to meet Hulk Hogan, on the set of American Gladiators, his new show for television network NBC. The aim was to create two very personal, private interviews, with the two men who will battle one another at WrestleMania 24, in a career versus career match. Jim Ross didn’t hold back, asking the questions we have all longed to hear the answers to. No stone was left unturned and the gloves well and truly came off. Tonight on Raw, both interviews will air. By The end of the night the battle lines will be drawn and you must decide, are you on team Flair, or team Hogan?

WWE - A NEW DAWN
Over the past 30 years the WWE has grown to become the greatest promotion in American History. Superstars have batted valiantly for a shot at its finest prize – The WWE Championship. Careers have been forged, Legends have been made and lives have been changed.
The Monday Night Wars marked a dark time for the WWE. Ratings were crashing and their rivals were growing. Up until the point where in 2001 WCW and ECW challenged the WWE during the infamous “Invasion”. However the WWE prevailed and now owns both companies.
However 5 years later Vince decided to bring back the Extreme. Which had a great start but fans turned away at the thought of a watered down version. Should it have been brought back?
Now in 2008 the WWE is facing a decline. Fans are starting to get tired of the same old formulas. They want action, excitement, blood, sweat and tears.
And I’m going to give it to them………..
On April 15th the WWE returns with a whole new look. Under new management you will see a show like never before. One brand WILL be sacrificed whilst another rises in its place. Old stars will return and new faces will emerge. New rivalries will begin and old foes will collide.
**** us for this epic night in history which will shake the very foundations of professional wrestling. This is a date where you WILL remember what you were doing at the time in years to come.
April 15th 2008 – WWE – A NEW DAWN

Saturday Night Wrestling Preview by Paul Lewis
The cameras were rolling after Tuesday Night Showdown and what an edition of Saturday Night Wrestling it's bound to be tomorrow night on YES at 7 pm Eastern time.
In the SHIMMER Showcase matchup of the night, SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey will defend her coveted Championship against a very deserving challenger in the "Portuguese Princess" Ariel. The head of Sweet & Sour Inc., Sweet & Sour himself, Larry Sweeney, has a very important message he needs to air out to both the Ring of Honor & Extreme Wrestling Entertainment locker rooms, and you will be able to hear all that Sweeney as to say tomorrow night on YES.
Also this week, the ROH Showcase Matchup. Coming from the young crop of talented Ring of Honor trainees, the now sophomore Pelle Primeau will make his first appearance on EWE Television as he takes on another high-flyer in Ruckus from the Vulture Squad in what is bound to be a quick and intense affair.
To top of this week's broadcast, to add to the already announced Tag Team Main Event, another blockbuster sized Tag Team Main Event has been signed.
It will be, representing the Elite, Mr. Kennedy & Sonny Siaki, to take on the reunited duo of Sabu & Rob Van Dam, lead to the ring by the Manager of Champions, Mr. Bill Alfonso.
Not to mention the Main Event that will pit another reuniting team in the Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm) as they take on Tommy Dreamer & the ECW Champion, CM Punk. All stemming from last week's more than chaotic Main Event that pitted Credible against Punk in a Non-Title affair.
Plus, you'll get to hear from the Briscoes & the No Remorse Corps, all this in the hottest hour of Pro Wrestling, tomorrow on YES! Saturday Night Wrestling at 7 PM Eastern Time.
