WWE NO WAY OUT 2008

PREVIEW

Sunday February 17th

Philips Arena
Atlanta, Georgia

***

WWE Championship; Triple Threat
Randy Orton(c) vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H

In an effort to make sure that there was no contender for his championship, WWE Champion Randy Orton's plan back fired, forcing him to defend his title against two challengers instead of one. In a number one contender's match on Raw a few weeks ago between Shawn Michaels and Triple H, Randy Orton raced down to the ring and beat down on both men, forcing the match to end up as a no contest. However, Raw General Manager William Regal announced that Orton's actions would not be tolerated, and that at No Way Out, Orton would defend his WWE Championship against both Shawn Michaels and Triple H in a Triple Threat Match.

The next week, the champion continued with his disgusting actions by attacking the legendary 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. An RKO and a punt to the head did the trick to knock out The Texas Rattlesnake. Later on in the night, we witnessed the rematch from last week between Shawn Michaels and Triple H. In an epic twenty minute battle, it was The Game who pulled through and outlasted The Showstopper for the victory. Following the match, Randy Orton raced down to the ring, only to be nailed in the face with some Sweet Chin Music from Shawn Michaels. Moments later, The Heartbreak Kid received his second Pedigree of the night, leaving Triple H standing tall over his No Way Out opponents.

On the latest Raw, we saw the official contract signing for the Triple Threat Match at No Way Out. After all three men signed the contract; it was Shawn Michaels who levelled both Randy Orton and Triple H with Sweet Chin Music.
With all three men sending statements to each other over the past weeks, it remains unknown at this point in time on who could possibly pull through this Sunday. However, the person who manages to do so, will walk away WWE Champion. And the real question is, who could that man be?

---

World Heavyweight Championship; Elimination Chamber
Batista(c) vs. Ric Flair vs. Undertaker vs. MVP vs. The Great Khali vs. Rey Mysterio

Since winning the World Championship back in September at Unforgiven, Batista has shown the Sports Entertainment World why he's known as 'The Animal.' Over the past several months, Batista has fended off all challengers to his throne, including The Great Khali, Edge, and even The Phenom himself, The Undertaker. But now, Batista will put his title on the line against not one, not two, but five other challengers, in a match that shortens careers, the Elimination Chamber.

The Elimination Chamber has been known to inflict gruelling pain on the human body, shortening the careers of all men who have competed inside of it. With the chamber being made up of 10 tonnes of steel, two miles of chain, and adding up to 36 feet in diameter, it will intimidate you at sight.

Fortunately for the champion, he is the only competitor in the match to ever have competed in an Elimination Chamber in the past. The Animal competed at New Year's Revolution 2005 for the World Heavyweight Championship, over 3 years ago, but was unsuccessful. This time around, Batista will know his environment, and you can bet that he will use that to his advantage.

Six men will all enter the diabolical structure known as the Elimination Chamber, but only one man will leave with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. What kind of pain will these six SmackDown! superstars go through?

---

United States Championship
Matt Hardy(c) vs. Big Daddy V

Over the past several of weeks, Big Daddy V has picked up several wins over Matt Hardy, solidifying himself a shot at the US Gold.

It all started a few weeks ago when Big Daddy V crushed Matt Hardy on the outside of the ring, giving himself the count out victory. The following week, the two squared off again, and Big Daddy V beat Hardy once more, but this time, by pin fall. The next week, Matt Hardy was successful in singles action against Elijah Burke. However, his celebration was short-lived, as Big Daddy V came down to the ring and assaulted the United States Champion. Big Daddy V eventually squashed Hardy with a devastating Samoan Drop, leaving the champion down in the ring.

After several weeks of being totally destroyed by the monster known as Big Daddy V, Matt Hardy requested a match against the Big Daddy at No Way Out. The match was granted to Matt, but he was forced to put his championship gold on the line.

Big Daddy V has certainly gotten the better of Matt Hardy over the past several weeks, continuing to squash the United States Champion. After being decimated week after week, will Matt Hardy be at one hundred percent come No Way Out?

---

Singles Match
Chris Jericho vs. Kane

A few weeks ago, we learned that The Big Red Machine, Kane, has been having some 'issues.' For no reason, he came down to the ring and Choke Slammed Chris Jericho, leaving The Savoir laying motionless in the ring, but not for long.

The next week, Chris Jericho told Raw General Manager William Regal that Kane's issues need to be solved, and that he's the one who can solve him. Regal gave in and the match was made for No Way Out, Chris Jericho vs. Kane. Later on in the night, Chris Jericho appeared on the titan tron during Kane's match against Bobby Lashley, ultimately costing Kane the victory. The aftermath wasn't a pretty one as it saw Kane destroying everything in sight. Chris Jericho wouldn't put up with it, and ran down to ringside, only to get in a brawl with The Big Red Machine. Jericho got the best of Kane, nailing him in the back of the head with a Steel Chair while Kane's face was in the Steel Steps.

This past Monday Night on Raw, we saw Kane attack Jericho again after his match, leaving The Big Red Machine standing tall heading into No Way Out. Will Chris Jericho 'Save Us' from Kane's issues? Or will The Big Red Machine continue on with his unnecessary attacks?

---

Intercontinental Championship
Bobby Lashley(c) vs. John Morrison w/Carlito

It's no secret that John Morrison has been keeping an eye on Bobby Lashley's Intercontinental Gold, but now Morrison has earned himself an opportunity at Lashley's title, that is, not without the help from his team mate, Carlito.

A month ago, Bobby Lashley and John Morrison butted heads in a hallway backstage, where Morrison notified Lashley that whoever left The Royal Rumble with Intercontinental Gold would be in for a challenge once they run into The Shaman of Sexy. A few weeks before that, Morrison had defeated a defenceless Hornswoggle, and immediately Jonathan Coachman granted The Shaman of Sexy a future shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

At The Royal Rumble, it turned out to be Bobby Lashley who pulled through against Mr. Kennedy and Jeff Hardy to leave with the Intercontinental Championship strapped around his waist. Meanwhile, Morrison continued to impress us all, lasting to the final six in the Royal Rumble, and picking up several pin fall victories over the next couple of weeks.

Despite the fact that Morrison was given an Intercontinental Title shot, Raw General Manager William Regal overruled Coach's decision, and forced Morrison to compete in a number one contender's match against his team mate Carlito. Morrison and Carlito made Regal look like a joke, as Carlito just lied down for Morrison, allowing him to get the win and become the number one contender.

Both Morrison and Lashley may be at the hottest points they've been in their careers right now, but come this Sunday, only one man will leave as Intercontinental Champion. Will Carlito help Morrison once more? Or will 'The Real Deal' show us what he's made of and knock off The Shaman of Sexy?

---

Singles Match
Edge vs. ?Mystery Opponent?

Ever since winning the Royal Rumble Match a few weeks ago, 'The Rated R Superstar' has been impatiently waiting for WrestleMania to come. However, Edge will be keeping himself busy at No Way Out, as he will go one-on-one against an unknown opponent.

Edge found out about this a few weeks ago after he ran away from The Undertaker during their match on SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long wasted no time in coming out to the stage and informing Edge about his match at No Way Out. From the expression of The Rated R Superstar, he didn't look too happy about the match that was made.

Just recently on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown!, Edge learned from General Manager Theodore Long that his opponent is a former WWE Superstar. Later on in the night, Edge knocked off long time rival and United States Champion, Matt Hardy. Will this win give The Ultimate Opportunist the momentum he needs going into his match at No Way Out? Or will the mystery returning superstar knock off Edge and make a statement?

---

WWE Women's Championship; Two out of Three Falls
Mickie James (c) vs. Beth Phoenix

Over the past several weeks, 'The Glamazon' Beth Phoenix has been even more dominate than usual, earning her a shot at the gold held by Mickie James, but this time, it will be a Two out of Three Falls Match.

Mickie and Beth are no strangers, with their rivalry dating a few months back when Mickie's team defeated Beth's team in a 10-Diva Tag Team Match at Survivor Series. Though Beth wasn't the one from her team who was pinned, she was still let on notice from a fierce James that her title was in danger.

Mickie then challenged Beth for her title at Armageddon. In a hard hitting match, it was 'The Glamazon' who once again showed her supremacy by knocking off the red hot Mickie James. Despite the fact that she was beaten in her opportunity, Mickie kept on fighting, and once again proved that she can compete with the champ.

Mickie and Beth met again at New Year's Revolution for the title. In a fabulous match between the two divas, Mickie's determination finally paid off, allowing her to pick up the win and her fourth Women's Title. A few weeks later, Beth cashed in her rematch clause, only to be defeated again.

When most people thought that 'The Glamazon' was done, she proved them wrong by picking up several dominate wins against divas. Soon she met up with Mickie once again, this time in a non-title match. Mickie couldn't stand her ground, and Beth pinned Mickie in the center of the ring. Now, the two will lock horns once more in what could be the match to seal their rivalry once and for all; a Two out of Three Falls Match. Which diva will pull through and score two falls on the other?

The Road to

The Road to WWE Wrestlemania XXIV will officially begin this Saturday night on USA as the WWE will present a special one hour event that will be it's first official show since there hiatus over a month ago. The Road to WWE Wrestlemania XXIV will come to you live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York and promises to answer many questions and reveal some big time matches for the big event. Below is a short preview of what to expect at The Road to WWE Wrestlemanis XXIV.

Team Rated RKO will do battle
The former WWE Tag Team Champions will go one on one this saturday night. All friendships will be put aside as a bye in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament will be up for grabs. Both men feel they were screwed over by bein forced to give up the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship but one of these men will have a easier road to becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This is sure to be a great match between these two friends.

Triple H's opponent named
Triple H's first round opponent will be named this Saturday night by the Chairman of the WWE himself Vince McMahon. Triple H's opponent has yet to be confirmed because Mr. McMahon wanted to find the right opponent to make sure Triple H would not advance pass the first round. Vince McMahon has promised somting BIG this saturday and I'm sure Triple H will have somthing to say as he will be at the Hammerstein ballroom this Saturday.

Who will jump to WWE
As everyone knows Kurt Angle was the first to jump from TNA to the WWE. The deadline for the other six TNA stars giving this oppurtunity is this Saturday night. Who will follow Kurt Angle and sell out to Vince McMahon, find out at the Road to Wrestlemania XXIV this Saturday.

The future of TNA
Vince McMahon has invited TNA star Jeff Jarett to the Hammerstein Ballroom this Saturday night as Vince McMahon will finally announce the state of TNA. Word is Vince has kept quiet about this subject and what he plans to do with TNA, but knowing the past this does not look good for TNA.

Ric Flair's last opponet
As everyone is aware Vince McMahon schedule Ric Flair at Wrestlemania XXIV to face any opponent of his choosing. This Saturday night Ric Flair will appear and announce who he has chosen to face at Wrestlemania XXIV. No reports of who Ric Flair may chose to wrestle at WMXXIV but it will sure be a special moment as The Nature Boy Ric Flair will announce his opponent in his final wrestling match.

Also the final card for Wrestlemania XXIV will be announced as rumors are two more matches will be announced this Saturday Night. This is WWE's first show since Vince McMahon declared the WWE will start over and will go on hiatus and start over last month. There is sure to be plenty of big time announcements and some great wrestling action live this Saturday at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC,NY.

(As you can see there will be more promos then matches. I plan on having one more match in additon to Orton vs Edge for the bye in the tournament. There are alot questions that need to be answer before WMXXIV and the Draft which will start the following night so I really need to have more promos and less matches but will still be a entertaing show which will have some huge announcements. I'm working on the show now and should be posted sometime by the end of the week. Thanks for the people who have reviewed, it's really appreciated and hope you continue reading.

RAW Preview
19th November 2007

OnCenter
Syracuse, New York

SURVIVOR SURVIVES FALL OUT!

ORTON SURVIVES AGAIN!

Randy Orton’s incredible record at the Survivor Series continued last night as he was the last man standing against Team HBK to become the sole survivor in four of the five elimination matches he has been in at the event. The WWE Champion has been on a role since winning the title at No Mercy and after overcoming the odds of 3 to 1 when Mr. Kennedy was eliminated, he was somehow able to defeat Chris Jericho, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels to cement his status as the WWE Champion. With that said, Orton is bound to be in good spirits when Raw comes to Syracuse tonight.

THE KING OVERCOMES THE BOSS – BUT WHO’S McMAHON JR?
In what was the most personal match up last night, Mr. McMahon fell foul of his son-in-law, Triple H in one of the bloodiest street fight’s ever seen. Giving as good as he got for the most part, Mr. McMahon eventually fell at the feet of The Game before being taken to a local medical facility close by in New Jersey. We learnt earlier today that he is still there, but it is just precautionary, meaning that the Chairman of the Board will not be on hand tonight.

But after the bombshell dropped last week by Triple H, just who is Mr. McMahon’s son? The Game admitted to his father-in-law that he and Stephanie had approached the mother of the illegitimate child and her attorney before Hornswoggle was announced as the newest addition of the McMahon family. Only Triple H and Stephanie had agreed a deal with both the attorney and mother for them to make out that the little guy was the son when he wasn’t. So now we know the truth, it appears that we have to wait and see to find out who actually is Mr. McMahon Jr. Just how long will we have to wait?

GETTING PERSONAL!
It appears that a situation could be developing between two of Raw’s biggest ego’s. Last night in the main event, Mr. Kennedy found himself being eliminated as he collected a chair and smashed it across Jericho’s skull. However, that chair shot resulted in Jericho being eliminated from the match as Randy Orton took full advantage of Kennedy’s ruthlessness. Neither man is likely to forget last night’s actions when they walk into the OnCenter in New York.

JEFF RETAINS BUT PAYS THE PRICE
In what was always going to be an incredible and competitive match, Jeff Hardy was able to retain his Intercontinental Championship, eliminating Elijah Burke to finish off the match. However, there were consequences for the rainbow haired warrior as CM Punk was also a survivor in the match up, but was a victim of a blind tag from Jeff who finished the match while Punk was recovering on the outside. Just as Jeff started celebrating, it appeared that Punk entered the ring to congratulate his partner, but that wasn’t the case as we soon found out when Punk hit Jeff with the GTS. Just why did Punk do this? The straight edge superstar will be in action tonight, and maybe we’ll find out what’s going through his mind.

WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch’s reign title reign finally came to an end last night as they were unable to cheat their way to victory. Up against three other teams, The Redneck Wrecking Crew managed to survive until the end when the fell just short as Paul London and Brian Kendrick stunned the champions as they took the titles away from Texas. Tonight the two teams will meet in a six person tag team match, just what kind of response will we get from the new and former champions?

CHAMPION STEALS ONE
Beth Phoenix last night met her toughest challenge to date as Womens Champions as she had her back against the wall against both Mickie James and Victoria. Both were gunning for The Glamazon and her title, but they both fell short as Phoenix took full advantage of a Widow’s Peak on Mickie James by throwing Victoria to the outside straight away and then covered Mickie to retain her title. And tonight she will team up with The Redneck Wrecking Crew to take on the new World Tag Team Champions and Mickie James. Will The Glamazon’s luck carry on tonight?

CONFIRMED FOR RAW THIS WEEK

Cody Rhodes vs. Carlito

Paul London, Brian Kendrick & Mickie James vs. Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch & Beth Phoenix

PLUS

Chris Jericho & CM Punk in action

NOW POSTED

January. 20. 2007
MSG, New York city.

8:00: WWE “the world is watching” promo airs.

8:01: A video package airs highlighting the incidents and events that have lead up to the street fight between Vince McMahon and The Game, triple H. Then a second video package airs that depicts Jeff Hardy’s rise to prominence and the series of run ins he has had with the WWE champion over the last 5 weeks.

8:04: Pyro explodes in the arena.

(cut to the announce table)

King: “listen to these people, they’re going crazy.”

JR: “They should be King, it’s the Royal Rumble and we are live ladies and gentlemen from Madison Square garden in New York city. We thank you so much for ****ing us on what promises to be one of the most exciting nights in WWE history.”

King: “You got that right JR. This is the hottest ticket in town, with every available seat selling out in under 30 minutes. They’re have been literally thousands turned away from the arena tonight.”

JR: “We’ve one hell of a night planned. How about Jeff Hardy having his first WWE title shot on PPV. His first main event if you will.”

King: “Hardy has hit the big time, only problem is he’s also hit a wall in the shape of the reigning WWE champion Randy Orton. I just don’t know if Hardy can step up anymore.”

JR: “Well he’s going to have to if he wants to beat the champion here tonight. Jeff Hardy, King, in my opinion will have to reach a level he has never been at before if is to walk out of Madison square garden here tonight, the WWE champion.”

King: “There is another huge encounter that’s hotly anticipated here tonight and its got nothing to do with titles.”

JR: “Speaking of course about the street fight, Vince McMahon will have to face the Game Triple H and if Vince McMahon wins, triple H is out of the WWE forever.”

King: “Talk about high stakes JR.”

JR: “It’s not all stacked against the Game, if he wins he will get a WWE title shot next month on PPV against whoever the WWE champion may be. You got to wonder folks, to what un-Godly level will Vince McMahon stoop to here tonight to get rid of The Game forever?”

King: “I think Vince would sell his soul to the devil if he had a soul, if it meant not having to have the Game in the WWE.”

JR: “These to men hate each other as much a humanly possible and I mean it. Anything can happen when these two face off live here tonight.”

King: “As always, tonight will feature the traditional 30 man, over the top rope Royal Rumble match. Past winners have included Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Just who will walk out of here the winner and head on to WrestleMania to meet the WWE champion is anyone’s guess. Who’s you favourite JR?”

JR: “God that’s a tough question to answer, but if I were a betting man and I’m not, I’d have to put my money on Shawn Michaels, after all he’s won it twice before.”

King: “Yeah but that was a long time ago JR. I think a younger, more power hungry, spotlight hugging superstar is going to win and that’s Edge.”

JR: “Edge has a great shot, as do all the 29 men participating in the Royal Rumble match. I wish all 30 men the best of luck here tonight.”

King: “Okay, up first here tonight, it will be the mixed tag team match. Just who is going to be Michelle McCool’s mystery partner.?”
