During the month of March...........
Christian Cage signed with the WWE!!!
Christian Cage showed his loyalties when he signed to the WWE in late March. After headlining every PPV in 2008 so far, Cage turned his back on TNA. After months of telling management he was happy on a open contract, Cage signed a deal with the WWE. This leaves a void in the main event for Lockdown! as well as making the tag team titles (which he held with Tomko) vacant. At Lockdown the match was suppose to be Team Angle (Angle, AJ, Nash & Roode) vs. Team Cage (Christian, Samoa Joe, Tomko & Booker T) is now up in the air!
TNA have signed The Rock!
They lost one "superstar" but Jim Cornette went out and got the "MegaStar". With Matt Morgan becoming less loved by the fans, as he is constantly screwing Samoa Joe over. The Rock has been brought in to equal the balance in the managerial office. The Rocks first announcement was that Lethal Lockdown would still go ahead as he has found a replacement and that replacement will make his debut at Lethal Lockdown!
TNA Worldwide
TNA has signed some of the hottest international talent, names including - KENTA, Jushin Liger as well as bringing in top indy stars like Roderick Strong and Austin Ares. All these wrestlers will be participants in the Ultimate Xscape match at Lockdown. The Ultimate Xscape match will start off with a 5 on 5 tag match. Once one team wins the other team is eliminated. Once there are 5 men left. It becomes an elimination match until two men are left. And whoever escapes first becomes the winner.
Wars rages on!
The war between Team 3D and the Motor City Machine Guns continues as they will face off at Lockdown in six sides of steel as well as Gail Kim gets another chance at regaining the Womens title at Awesome Kong, but inside six sides of steel will Gail Kim have the will to win? Also the X Division title will be on the line in a triple threat cage match when Kaz defends against former champion, Jay Lethal and Johnny Devine.
Hangman’s Doomsday Chamber of Death Match!!!
Abyss vs. Judas Mesias w/James Mitchell. Six sides of steel will be surrounding both men and on top of the cage there will be barbed wire to stop any escape. Hanging from the ceiling will be rope tied in a slipknot. The only way to win this match you must climb the ladder to unhook the rope, put your opponents head through the rope and then climb back up the ladder and hook the rope back on the hook. Abyss who found out Judas was his brother earlier this month has been forced by James Mitchell to except this challenge. Once the door is locked Sting and Raven will be unable to help Abyss and Black Reign, RelliK and Rhino will also be helpless to assist Judas. The final battle between the two brothers. This will be bloody, this will be brutal and this could in deed be deadly!
Lethal Lockdown Main Event!! Team Angle (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Robert Roode & Kevin Nash) vs. Team Joe (Samoa Joe, Tomko, Booker T & ????)
Originally this match was suppose to be Team Angle vs. Team Cage but, Christian Cage soled out and jumped ship to the other place. But last week on iMPACT the new commissioner The Rock decided that the match would still go on and the he would make sure Samoa Joe, Tomko and Booker T have a fourth man on there team. Lethal Lockdown can only be won by submission, one member of either team must give up in order to loose this match. There is so much hatred between all the combatants. Booker T and Roode have personal problems ever since Roode attacked Sharmell. Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash have been at each others throats and once again they get to collide. Also Tomko has problems with both his former tag team partner AJ Styles but also the TNA World Champion Kurt Angle. What will go down in the violent match and who will the mystery entrant be?
Lockdown Preview!

Team Angle (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Robert Roode & Kevin Nash) vs. Team Joe (Samoa Joe, Tomko, Booker T & ????)

Backstage News and Rumours
We have learnt in the last few hours that Ron “The Truth” Killings has indeed signed a contract with the WWE. We reported last week that there was strong interest and contact between both parties, and we understand that the contract states that Killings will bypass both developmental territories.
Chris Harris has now left TNA wrestling and from what we understand, there was contact between Harris and the WWE in the weeks leading up to the end of Harris’s contract. We are led to believe that Harris will indeed sign a deal with the company very soon.
Rumours regarding The Big Show’s return to the WWE are just that. There has been no confirmation from either side that any kind of deal or even conversation has gone down. This could be to avoid internet speculation and make his return a shock, or it could indeed be true.
It appears that Ric Flair will be returning to the WWE in the near future. He has been telling his close friends that he has reached agreement with Vince McMahon upon a storyline upon his return to the company, but no date or spoilers have reached us yet. With the Royal Rumble approaching, at a guess, we could see Flair as well as the other new or potential signings appear there.
It appears that Johnny Ace has been visiting ROH shows recently, and that he has been casting an eye over a number of performers, most notably the Briscoe Brothers. With a lack of natural tag teams in the WWE, it is understandable that they would be looking at a team with the ability that the Briscoe’s possess. Where it goes from here is not known, but don’t be surprised to see a deal thrashed out between WWE, ROH and the Briscoe’s.
On the back of Survivor Series last night, it was said backstage that everyone was happy with the show. There were no real shocks, maybe with the exception of Batista retaining the World title and what went down at the end of the Intercontinental Championship match. Raw should be interesting for sure as we strive to find out who Vince’s son is and to see the fall out of last night’s show. We also found out that the Open House rules may be taken advantage of by superstars in the run up to the end of the year too, so don’t be surprised to see some Smackdown stars on Raw tonight!
Hey there, my BTB is just getting started and is still in it's backstory. It's taken some time but Its A big backstory with alot to cover but Ive been working on this for awhile and things are moving along good and my first show should be up next week. I just posted up details on how my BTB will work. It's different then any other WWE BTB. So if you have some time please give it A read and let me know what you think. Also I've been reading some BTB's and will get some reviews up tonight, ive been trying to get around to that but was trying to get my BTB on it's feet. Thanks and hope you take A look.
Well after working on this PPV for the past month, one of the most anticipated PPVs in BTB history has finally been posted! The Starrcade PPV has been posted in my thread. All full reviews will be returned with a full review of your thread's next full show/or full PPV.
This Wednesday night, the most jam-packed episode of Enslaved in Evolution Pro Wrestling’s short but successful history emanates once again from New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
Last week on the fallout edition of Enslaved following Out of Exile, our World Champion, The Rated R Superstar, Edge, managed to defeat his younger brother, Christian Cage following an epic encounter and an assist from the one and only Chris Jericho. Following the match Paul Heyman made a huge announcement that this week Edge would face a MYSTERY OPPONENT, with the stipulation if the Mystery Opponent wins, then he will receive an EPW World Championship opportunity in a match that will be contested under Extreme Rules! Who will be the Mystery Opponent and will Edge be able to fend him off? There’s only one way to find out! Tune into Enslaved, this Wednesday night!
Paul Heyman made another big announcement last week pertaining to the Number One Contendership to the EPW World Championship at EPW’s next Pay Per View entitled “Redemption”. This week we will be treated to a Fatal Fourway to OPEN the show that will feature “The Rabid Wolverine” Chris Benoit, “The Man Beast” Rhino, the man that came up just show in the World Title match last week, Christian Cage as well as the man who screwed him, Chris Jericho. This is set to be a spiteful affair, who will walk out the Number One Contender?
This week will also bring about EPW’s FIRST EVER Six man Tag Team match up. The EPW Pacific Champion; CM Punk will team with Colt Cabana and Austin Aries to take on Punk’s challenger for Redemption Muhammad Hassan, Daivari and “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. This match has plenty of bad blood involved and it has all the makings for all hell to break loose.
Last week on Enslaved we were treated to the debut of one of the most successful Tag Teams in Professional Wrestling history – The Dudley Boyz! Bubba-Ray and Devon’s debut was welcomed with a straight up shot at the EPW Tag Team Titles held by the Latin American eXchange. Unfortunately for The Dudleyz, they came up just short in their quest for the titles even after Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis tried to make their presence known. What will develop this week between the LAX and Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis, or will The Dudleyz interject themselves again? Don't expect to see The Worlds Greatest Tag Team of Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas though, Paul Heyman has granted them a week off after a forgetable few weeks.
Also last week, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe voiced his desire to be granted an opportunity at the EPW World Championship sooner rather than later. How will he respond to not even being included in the Number One Contenders match? Plus watch out for Brock Lesnar who will look to continue on his path destruction following his speed bump at Out of Exile. The road to Jamie Noble’s in-ring debut continues, will it be this week? Or will Noble continue to simply be a man of words?
For all this and more, tune into EPW’s Enslaved, this Wednesday Night at 10pm on the CW Network. Don’t miss it, it’s going to be an episode to remember!
