While we are unable to do that, Long has promised to continue to make SmackDown! the best show, and has guaranteed us a huge main event for this week, as well as for next week! What does the former General Manager have in store for the fans of the Blue Brand?
One of the three confirmed matches for this week's episode is one between MVP and John Morrison. WIth the two recently losing gold, they want to prove to everyone that they will once again be wearing a championship belt. Morrison's girlfriend Kelly Kelly will have to watch this match from the Palace of Wisdom, as she was taken out of action in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match by Kane, who has set his sights on Morrison for taking him out of the match. Will we be seeing Kane in any degree during this match?
In another confirmed match, the newly-formed tag team of The Academy, consisting of Your Teacher Matt Striker and the Running Back Kenny Dykstra (along with Striker's girlfriend Maryse), will be involved in their first match as a unit against former No. 1 Contender's to the WWE Tag Team Championships, Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore. The Academy has been making waves as of late, with Jamie Noble sending them a message from Monday Night RAW as well. Will the scholastic team be able to win their first tag team match?
Another member of the SmackDown! roster that's been the talk of some fans is the former Women's Champion, Victoria. The Black Widow's always had a bonafide mean streak, but it's becoming even worse as of late. During the Draft Special, Victoria got herself disqualified against Candice Michelle, and on ECW, she and Jillian defeated Candice and Michelle McCool. Michelle has asked for a rematch against Victoria for this Friday night, but will she be able to get revenge for not one, but two Widow's Peaks she received in the Land of Extreme?
All this and more on Friday Night SmackDown!, on the CW Network!

Monday Night RAW Preview!
A Championship match for Unforgiven will be made!
Tonight, LIVE on Monday Night RAW, WWE Chairman of The Board, and new RAW General Manager: Vince McMahon, will open the show to address the current World Heavyweight Championship situation. He'll make sure we have a championship match for Unforgiven, by the end of the night.
Eddie Colón make his debut
Tonight will also make the WWE Debut of Carlito's brother, Eddie Colón. Eddie will tonight take on D-Lo Brown, in tonight's RAW opening match. Can the Caribbean superstar manage a win in his first ever WWE match? Or will he be made to get 'down with the Brown'?
RAW newcomers get the chance to be Intercontinental Champion
Montel Vontavious Porter, The Miz and Elijah Burke - all RAW newcomers, tonight, get the chance to win the coveted Intercontinental Championship. This is a match you sure don't want to miss as all three superstars will be looking to make an impact on RAW. But who'll come out on top? The M.V.P of RAW? 'The Chick Magnet', The Miz? Or 'The Elijah Experience' Elijah Burke?

Nitro Preview- June 5, 2000
Tonight Nitro comes to you live from the Wesbanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. We have a jam packed show for you tonight, and here’s what’s in store for you tonight…
Last week in the main event, WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg defeated nWo 2000 member Scott Hall in a non-title match. The champion gets a final challenge tonight in our main event when Goldberg again takes on a member of the nWo 2000, United States Champion Scott Steiner, in a Champion vs. Champion match, with Challenger Jeff Jarrett at ringside again for the match.
Also, we have our final two Ruler of the Ring qualifying matches before we get the Ruler of the Ring Tournament at the Ruler of the Ring Pay-Per-View. Tonights matches are going to feature the WCW Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio taking on Sean O’Haire and Billy Kidman taking on Fit Finlay. Who will be able to continue on to go to the Pay-Per-View and try to become Ruler of the Ring? Tune in to find out.
Terry Funk and Vampiro battled last week in a non-title match where it went to a no-contest. Terry Funk demanded on WCW.com that Vampiro have a match before their title match at Ruler of the Ring. Funk said Vampiro has treated him like hell, and he wants to return the favor. That’s why Vampiro will be in a match tonight against Disco Inferno before their match at Ruler of the Ring.
Hulk Hogan wasn’t present last week at Nitro, but reports has said he’s backstage tonight, and he’s said him and Sting are going to come out tonight and address their opponents at Ruler of the Ring, Scott Hall and Scott Steiner.
Curt Hennig and Booker T have had a heated feud since their triple threat a few weeks back. On Sunday at Ruler of the Ring, these two will face off against each other in a No-Disqualification match. But tonight, they are going to talk about their upcoming match, including an appearance between a former WCW Superstar! You won’t want to miss that.
All this and more will be on our next edition of Nitro live, at 9/8 CT on TNT.
Confirmed Matches:
Champion vs. Champion Match: Goldberg vs. Scott Steiner w/ Jeff Jarrett
Ruler of the Ring First Round Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Sean O’Haire
Ruler of the Ring First Round Match: Billy Kidman vs. Fit Finlay
Singles Match: Vampiro vs. Disco Inferno
Nitro is up in my BTB WCW 2000: A Dying Breed. Review if you wish, but I may or may not review back.

Monday Night RAW
Monday 9th February 2009
St. Pete Times Forum, Tampa; Florida

“Just sitting, waiting and wishing …”
We are now just 13 days away from No Way Out live on Pay-Per-View, and RAW is set to hot up as we get close to WrestleMania XXV, let’s see what will go down in Florida, the home of last years WrestleMania this Monday …
Chamber Decided; Let’s Get Going
Last week we filled the final three spots for the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, they are: Mr. Kennedy, John Morrison, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton Batista and Chris Jericho. Last week Randy Orton tried to assert his dominance over fellow Chamber participant, Batista, after hitting him with an RKO, after his gruelling match with Shelton Benjamin. These two haven’t been the best of friends over previous weeks; will Batista confront Randy over his actions last week?
Also last week, Mr. Kennedy tried to embarrass Shawn Michaels but only ending up making a fool of himself, and this week Kennedy will try to gain revenge when he takes on Michaels in a little preview of the Chamber match, what is sure to be a quality standard match live on RAW. Will the loudmouth walk away from the match as the winner, or will HBK show why he is the Showstopper?
The surprise entrant of the match will be John Morrison, who hasn’t even been talked about as a tough opponent for any of the other five participants , but he will try to show us all why he is in the match this Monday, by taking on the Number One Contender to the WWE Championship, Triple H.
HHH Calls, ‘Taker Answers!
Last week after calling the Undertaker a coward to the fans, Triple H got something he didn’t expect, ‘Taker himself showing up. The Deadman was close to giving The Game a Chokeslam, but the worm that he is, he wriggled free. This week Triple H will taking on the underdog, John Morrison in a singles match, will he get another appearance from Taker, or will the mind games continue for The King of Kings? He will have one eye on his Last Chance match with Undertaker at No Way Out, and will this give Morrison a chance to gain a unprecedented victory over the 12 times champion? Find out this Monday!
Regal Left In A Bloody Mess
Last week, Monday Night RAW opened with the disturbing image of William Regal laid out in his office in a pool of his own blood, but who did it? Chris Jericho is an early suspect as since the turn of the year these two have been going at it, locking horns at every opportunity, Regal has been cleared by the medical staff to make a comeback this week, will he be in a good mood to talk it over with Jericho, or was it even Jericho, will any evidence surface on this ‘bloody’ situation as the RAW GM might say? Find out this Monday!
‘Impressive? Damn Right We Are!’
Last week, the new tag team of Doane and DiBiase made their RAW debut, showing why they should have a tag title shot, and this week they will take on the World Tag Team Champions in non-title action. Cryme Tyme will have to have their wits about them to stop the young, athletic duo. Will DiBiase and Doane walk away victories or will the champs walk away with a tick in the win column?
Also This Week!
The Intercontinental Champion, Matt Hardy will be a guest on Carlito’s Cabana, as the Caribbean Cool gives his opinions on Matt’s title reign and more.
Finlay makes his return to RAW and the WWE Divas will be in action as well this Monday Night, will the number one contender’s situation be sorted out this week?
Find all this out and more live, Monday Night, 9/8 CT on USA !
| Confirmed |
Triple H vs. John Morrison
Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Kennedy
Cryme Tyme © vs. Ted DiBiase & Ken Doane
Fit Finlay returns to RAW & Carlito’s Cabana w/ Matt Hardy

LAST BATCH OF BIG BANG NEWS!
The official theme song for GCW's The Big Bang has officially been announced; Ill Nino's The Alibi of Tyrants, off their new album entitled Enigma, which was released on March 11th, is the official theme song for The Big Bang. "We are pleased to have Ill Nino provide the official theme song for our breakthrough Pay Per View, and we hope in the future our partnership with the band, which entails three songs for select GCW superstars and future PPVs, will flourish and continue," Bischoff was quoted at a recent press conference, where the band made an appearance. Regarding the three other songs, Ill Nino had signed a contract for GCW, stating they'd release three exclusive songs for the company within the remaining calendar year of 2008.
The music doesn't stop there; Eric Bischoff has signed on metalcore band, Killswitch Engage, alternative metal band, Mudvayne, and rapper Young Jeezy to perform LIVE at The Big Bang. The artists are there for a reason, as they'll be on hand to provide NEW themes for some of your favorite superstars; Killswitch Engage will perform a new rendition of Batista's theme, entitled Dragon Unleashed, LIVE as a part of Batista's entrance. Young Jeezy has also agreed to perform LIVE at The Big Bang; he'll perform a new rendition of Can You Dig It, Sucka for Booker T. Last, but not least, Mudvayne will perform LIVE at The Big Bang, in order to provde music for the returning mega superstar. Mudvayne and Bischoff have been mum as the identity of this superstar, but at The Big Bang, expect the band to perform along with his return.
