Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan
This was a dream match on all accounts. However the way it started was beyond everyones belief. Hulk Hogan came back to the WWE to help Shawn Michaels during his rivalry with Muhammed Hasaan and Daivari. Then for the next few months Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan became this dream team. Everyone loved it. The two biggest superstars in the World Wrestling Entertainment teaming together. However, on one fateful night during a RAW broadcast, The Showstopper Shawn Michaels dropped Hogan with a vicious Sweet Chin Music, getting tongues wagging all over the world. No one knew why he did it. Shawn Michaels probably didn't even know why he did it. However Hogan agreed to a one on one match at Summerslam. Which of these superstars will be walking out of Summerslam this Sunday as the victor? Will it be crowd favourite Hulk Hogan? Or will it be The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels?

24 hours removed from one of the greatest nights in the history of the World Wrestling Federation, RAW is WAR is LIVE in The City of Angels, Los Angeles, California!!

Last night, Triple H defied what was to some insurmountable odds, as he went through Mick Foley, The Big Show, and The Rock to retain the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Also in that match, Vince and Shane McMahon, who seemingly were against one another, turned on the men they accompanied to the ring and aligned themselves with the Champion, in a shocking moment to all of the fans in attendance in Anaheim. This did not sit well with the last man remaining in the match before HHH got the final fall, The Rock, as he would hit The Rock Bottom on Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley at the end of the match, and was the one standing tall. Certainly, payback will be an issue for the Champion, but how will it be paid? Tune in to find out.

All of this plus an announcement on the state of the Intercontinental Championship due to the quitting of current champion Chris Benoit, tonight on RAW!! Check your local listings.

With all the summerslam matches announced, lets take a look at some news and notes heading into the huge PPV which will begin the thread on Sunday night.

Eric Bischoff has been spotted entering the arena. Now this is strange as he wasn't scheduled to appear at Summerslam. Who knows what he will be doing. Maybe he will just be used backstage to help out, or maybe it could lead to an appearance, fans will just have to watch (read) summerslam (the results) on Sunday night.

Shawn Michaels was actually going to go over Hulk Hogan at Summerslam, however we do not know the full details but Hogan has apparently been given creative control. Take to that as you may, but it's certainly going to be a great event this Sunday night.
