Collision Course
After being assaulted by Goldberg after their title match last week, both GCW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle and Sabu will both be in attendence next week. As will Goldberg himself, which could lead to some highly-charged confrontations in the ring/ New Champ Angle was brutally Jackhammered by 'Da Man' and is reportedly looking for revenge. As too is Sabu, who may not have been beaten down as badly but is equally angry, has told friends that Goldberg will be lucky to still be walking by the time PPV, Extreme Extravanganza. None of the man have scheduled matches but accoring to sources Goldberg wants to address the fans and explain why he did what he did in the closing stages of last week.

Can Evans stop the Train?
This week on Icons Jack Evans, the incredible high-flyer will take on the hairy colossus that is A-Train. The Train may have the size advantage but speedy Evans has proved to be the David to his opponents Goliath in the past and a win here would be huge for the former ROH Tag Champion. A-Train has been out of the spotlight for a few years but is still only 33 and sees Global Championship Wrestling as the ideal oppurtunity to show what he can do. But according to som wrestlers friendly competition exists between the Lightweights and the Heavyweights in the locker-room, which means the two men could also be representing their weight class in this cross-divisional match-up.

Former Indy Rivals Clash Again
Another match confirmed for this week is 'The American Dragon' Brian Danielson vs. Homicide. The former ROH competitors have put on great matches in the past and the fans will be hoping this is the same. But there is more than pride at stake here, because, due to the sublime talents of both men, a win could catapult one man up the pecking order while knocking the loser down a few rungs on the ladder of success. Both men have held Gold elsewhere, and if they want to repeat the feat in GCW, a win here would be a push in the right direction. It's sure to be a close and heated match-up between two incredible wrestlers. These two men have shown how well their styles have meshed in the past and the fans will expect the same again, a potential Match Of The Night.

517lbs of Pure, Unadulterated Power!
At a combined height of 14 ft 5, Kane and Giant Singh's match this week could very well be the tallest match ever. Throwing these two men in the ring is like throwing a grenade betwee the ropes. Both monsters posess incredible power and will never take a backwards step. Rumours suggest that Ring crews are actually worried that the the ring my not support the two men, such is the size of these two beasts. The two men are so big and strong anything is possible and it's hard to imagne either man actually getting pinned. Singh Bomb vs. The Chokeslam from Hell, two massive, high-impat moves and the key to the match will depend on which of these moves are landed first.

May 29th 2008 – From the iMPACT zone, Orlando!

We are now just ten nights away from Slammiversary and TNA’s sixth year anniversary, tonight the road to Slammiversary continues with a King of the Mountain Qualifying match, all the fallout from last week’s dramatic iMPACT plus a massive main event!

Ever since Rhino cost Christian a match at Sacrifice and ****ed the Angle Alliance Christian Cage has been trying to get revenge on Rhino, but he has fallen victim to the numbers game every time. Last week was no different as Rhino and Tomko left Christian battered and bloodied after Christian defeated Tomko via DQ, despite a brave effort from Christian in a two-on-one situation. Tonight, just seven nights after receiving that nasty beat down Christian will be in action again, as he faces off against Tomko and Rhino’s Angle Alliance boss, Kurt Angle. This is sure to be a great match however Tomko and Rhino will no doubt be waiting in the wings, ready to give Christian another nasty beat down. Who will come out on top in this huge main event? And will Rhino and Tomko leave Christian beaten with another attack for the third week in a row?

While his buddies have been involved in that big feud, Kurt Angle has been involved in a big rivalry himself with former Angle Alliance member, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Angle cost AJ Styles a world title match at Sacrifice and then kicked him out of the Angle Alliance in favor of Rhino at the following Impact. For the past two weeks AJ Styles has gone looking for Kurt Angle in hope of gaining his revenge with no success, and he last week announced that Kurt Angle versus AJ Styles had been added to the Slammiversary card, and AJ then said that he would “break Kurt Angle’s neck” at Slammiversary. Tonight both men will be at Impact, but will AJ Styles finally find Angle and get his revenge?

Last week Tag Team Champions LAX defeated The Rock ‘N’ Rave Infection to add another successful title defense to their record, but after the match when JB was trying to conduct an interview with them, the Motor City Machine Guns interrupted them. The Guns agreed that LAX have been on a roll recently but they then asked LAX who they would be defending the titles against at Slammiversary. The Guns said that everyone wants to see LAX versus the Motor City Machine Guns at Slammiversary and then challenged LAX to a title match for Slammiversary. Tonight the Guns will be in tag team action, will they pick up the win and prove they deserve a title match? And will LAX accept their challenge?

Last week Robert Roode and Bobby Lashley qualified for Slammiversary’s King of the Mountain match, making it Samoa Joe, Booker T, Robert Roode and Bobby Lashley in the match so far. With two more spots in the KOTM up for grabs, we will witness another KOTM qualifying match tonight featuring Scott Steiner. Who will be the next man to qualify for KOTM?

Also on iMPACT, we will find out who Awesome Kong will defend her title against at Slammiversary! Who will it be?

And Petey Williams will watch his Slammiversary X title challenger Jay Lethal in action from commentary!

And Bobby Lashley continues his little rivalry with Team 3D as he faces his toughest challenge yet in a handicap match! Will he pick up the win?

Smackdown! 21-04-05 Preview



WWE Title Match
Just three weeks ago at WrestleMania, "The Doctor Of Thuganomics" John Cena realized his life long dream by defeating John Bradshaw Layfield to win the WWE Championship. Four nights later on Smackdown, JBL announced that he would be cashing in his rematch clause in three weeks on the three hour edition of Smackdown, that night is tonight. With Cena ending last weeks show standing over a downed JBL, will history repeat itself this week, or will JBL reign supreme over Smackdown yet again?


RVD Tells All
Last week on Smackdown! Rey Mysterio faced off against Booker T. The match was a classic, that is, until Rob Van Dam appeared. Returning after being out for a while with a knee injury, "The Whole Damn Show" jumped out through the crowd and nailed Mysterio, who was about to enter the ring, with a steel chair to the back. RVD then slid Rey in to the ring before going up top and nailing a Five-Star Frog Splash. With no apparent motives, Van Dam has promised to clear things up this week on the three hour edition of Smackdown!
