Hey Nige, thought I'd give you a few comments since I haven't posted here for a while. As you know, I've been busy. Anyway, let's take a look at SNME.
---

CONFIRMED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT

TOMORROW NIGHT FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM!!!

NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Batista vs. Edge vs. Ric Flair vs. Umaga vs. The Undertaker vs. MVP

Whoever wins this match, it promises to be a very entertaining read. The Flair/Michaels situation has been teased a couple of times now, and I can't help but think you may be trying to recreate history here. Then again, Edge has been chasing the title for a while so it would make sense for him to challenge at WrestleMania. Also, The Undertaker is always a good choice to have challenge for the belt, and Taker/HBK at WrestleMania would be historic.
However, my money is on Ric Flair to win the match. Why? Because although someone like Taker or Edge can challenge for the belt after WrestleMania, it would make for a "once in a lifetime" moment for Flair to challenge for the title, one last time at the biggest event in the WWE.

---
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The UK Pack “Paul Burchill & Harry Smith” (c) vs. The Pitbulls

I can't see the UK Pack losing the titles yet, simply because they are the UK Pack. It'll take a bigger team than The Pitbulls to make Burchill and Smith get booked to lose their titles, right Nige?
---
WWE WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP
Victoria vs. “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix (c)

This is a hard match to predict, simply because both women are such dominant female wrestlers. As a guess I'll go with Beth Phoenix, because the traditional route is for a heel champion to dominate the ranks and lose their title at WrestleMania. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Victoria win the title either.
---

Triple H vs. Kane
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Vince McMahon
SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER: John “Bradshaw” Layfield
SPECIAL GUEST TIMEKEEPER: Shane McMahon

If there's one man who cannot afford to lose momentum before WrestleMania, it's Kane. Yes this is going to sound like I'm a mark, but Kane simply can't lose this match, because he won the Rumble and needs to look strong heading into WrestleMania. Triple H can afford to lose and not look by being screwed out of the win.

---
Rey Mysterio vs. Elijah Burke

Again, another hard match to predict but I do think this match could be where we finally find out who attacked Rey Mysterio a few weeks ago, which is why I think he, like Triple H, will get screwed out of the win. My guess to win is Elijah Burke.

---

Apart from these matches, I expect some sort of appearance from both the WWE Champion Randy Orton, and the World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels. I know they're not scheduled to wrestle, but the SNME is a good opportunity to have these guys appear and continue to build feuds.

The event looks strong, and keeps me excited heading into WrestleMania 24. I can't wait to read it mate!

NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Batista vs. Edge vs. Ric Flair vs. Umaga vs. The Undertaker vs. MVP
You have 4 worthy choices here - Batista, Edge, Flair, and 'Taker. I can see Batista/Edge having a match at WrestleMania, and possibly 'Taker vs. Umaga. Michaels vs. Flair is a great choice, and these two going at it at 'Mania would be amazing.

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The UK Pack “Paul Burchill & Harry Smith” (c) vs. The Pitbulls
They just picked up the titles not that long ago if I remember correctly, about a month or so, and besides, they're more over than the Pitbulls, imo.

WWE WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP
Victoria vs. “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix (c)
This match was expected to come, but I don't see Victoria winning the title until WrestleMania. Vickie will win the title eventually, just not yet.

PLUS

Triple H vs. Kane
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Vince McMahon
SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER: John “Bradshaw” Layfield
SPECIAL GUEST TIMEKEEPER: Shane McMahon
I'm gonna have to go with a No Contest here, or even a DQ. Either that or Triple H gets screwed over, but I see hell breaking loose.

Rey Mysterio vs. Elijah Burke
Rey won't lose. And if he does, you clearly have big plans for Elijah Burke.

NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Animal" Batista vs. "The Rated R Superstar" Edge vs. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair
vs. "The Samoan Bulldozer" Umaga vs. "The Phenom" The Undertaker vs. "The Franchise Player" MVP

In what is undoubtedly the most important match of the night, we will find out which member of the Smackdown roster will challenge for Shawn Michaels’ World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 24 when six of the brand’s top stars battle it out with only of them emerging with the key to a World Championship match on the biggest stage of them all.

All 6 men have earned their place by winning qualifying matches over the course of the last eight days on Smackdown, but now they must all meet head on for a shot at the big time. Batista and Edge were the first two superstars to qualify over a week ago, but they were unsuccessful at the Royal Rumble two weeks ago when Shawn Michaels connected with a big time super kick on The Animal to retain the title, leaving Edge frustrated in his belief that he should be the automatic choice as number one contender.

The Smackdown General Manager, William Regal didn’t just have to listen to Edge’s opinion, but many others, leading to Regal making this match and making the eventual winner prove that they are deserving at one of the most coveted spots that the sports entertainment industry has to offer. After Batista and Edge booked their places eight days ago, they were joined by The Undertaker (defeated Finlay in qualifying), Ric Flair (beat Michael Shane), MVP (overcame Chris Harris) and Umaga who saw off Matt Hardy last night to round off a highly important episode of Smackdown.

With all six men set, who will it be who climbs to the top of their game in the United Kingdom and finds themselves just weeks away from the biggest moment of their life?

"The Game" Triple H vs. "The Big Red Machine" Kane
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Vince McMahon
SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER: JohnBradshawLayfield
SPECIAL GUEST TIMEKEEPER: Shane McMahon

The McMahon Family feud really has reached boiling point, and this Saturday night will certainly be a hot one for The Game as he sets foot in the squared circle with the winner of the Royal Rumble, “The Big Red Machine” Kane.

With the addition of JBL to the McMahon family as well as Shane turning his back on his brother-in-law, the new force on Raw have done everything within their power to make life hell for Triple H. That was never more evident when JBL reached up and dragged Triple H out of the Royal Rumble after being eliminated by The Game moments before. This obviously left The King of Kings extremely angry, something that the new Head of Authority for Raw, Eric Bischoff addressed straight away. With the power now taken away from both sides of the family feud, Bischoff decided to give them both one more chance at controlling the other side on his first night in charge.

Bischoff put Triple H in one on one action against Shane McMahon with the winner getting to decide the loser’s opponent and stipulation for this night. It obviously went the way of Shane, and despite asking for his family to stay backstage, he was only able to pick up the victory with the help of his half brother, JBL. This past week, The McMahon’s went back and forth on what their strategy would be to make Triple H walk in to the UK with no chance, and they did a great job. Picking Kane as his opponent as well as them each having a special guest role for the night, The McMahon’s look to be in complete control of The Game this weekend.

The question is, will it stay that way?

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The UK PackPaul Burchill & Harry Smith(c) vs. The Pitbulls

Over the course of the last month, Smackdown’s General Manager, William Regal set about finding a serious contender for the WWE Tag Team Champions. Since winning the titles at the back end of last year after prevailing over The World’s Greatest Tag Team, The UK Pack have had an easy spell as champions. However this weekend will put pay to that when Paul Burchill and Harry Smith defend their titles in their home country.

Burchill made his debut in the UK last November, and now he and Smith will the face the winners of the Number One Contender’s Series that fellow Englishman, William Regal designed for this specific night. Four teams were put in place to go at it over a month ago with the losing team being eliminated and the remaining three teams advancing to a triple threat match the next week. From there one team would be eliminated from the series until one team was left, and after beating the team of John Morrison and The Miz eight days ago on Smackdown, The Pitbulls claimed the title shot in the champ’s backyard.

Last night we saw The Pitbulls call out the champions and gave them one big warning as they showed The UK Pack not to turn their back on them for one minute, jumping them as they attempted to leave the ring. Have the challengers struck fear in to their opponents or have they made a mistake in making the champions even hungrier to retain the gold?

WWE WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP
Victoria vs.The GlamazonBeth Phoenix (c)

This could well be the most personal match up on the card when the two most intimidating divas in the WWE go at it with it all on the line.

After putting Victoria on the shelf with a severe concussion twenty four hours after the Survivor Series, The Glamazon seemed to forget all about her and called it an accident. Phoenix certainly meant to hit her with the title belt, but it did seem unfortunate that Victoria hit her head as she fell on to the edge of a steel chair. However, with Victoria out of her mind, Beth got the shock of her life at the start of the year when the returning diva was ready and waiting for her in the champion’s dressing room. Victoria made it crystal clear she was not going to be intimidated by The Glamazon like the other Raw divas, something that seemed to strike a nerve with the champion.

This past Monday night saw Victoria join forces with Rey Mysterio to take on Beth and Elijah Burke, and after an error by Burke’s girlfriend Layla on the outside, Victoria took advantage and picked up a big non title victory just five days before arguably Beth’s toughest title defence. Will that defeat leave The Glamazon rocking and set the tone for Victoria to pick up the gold?

Rey Mysterio vs. "The Guiding Light" Elijah Burke

One question on everyone’s minds since Rey was attacked on Raw nearly two weeks ago has been, just who did it? Who snuck in to Rey’s locker room before his Intercontinental Championship match with CM Punk and laid him out?

Rey certainly doesn’t know, but he joins the rest of the world as we attempt to find out who it was that stooped so low to attack him in that needless manner. The chief culprit is undoubtedly Elijah Burke, Rey’s rival since moving to Raw last year, despite him and Layla protesting their innocence. Eric Bischoff didn’t believe him and swiftly made this match up.

The assumption from Bischoff mirrors a lot of people’s thoughts, but is the Head of Authority right? Was it Burke? But more importantly, will we find out when these two collide later on tonight?

If you wish to leave predictions, this template will be easier to copy and paste. The show will be in TV like size recap as I am working on WrestleMania

Just a few words from the Kirbster, maan. Winnerz in bold.

CONFIRMED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT

NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Batista vs. Edge vs. Ric Flair vs. Umaga vs. The Undertaker vs. MVP

I think that in this match, Undertaker, Edge, and Flair should definatley look the strongest. I'm gonna give a shaky nod to Flair, seeing as how he and Michaels have been built on being touchy-feely and emotional in several weeks. However, I haven't read anything on Flair's "ultimatum" in your thread as of yet, so possibly 'Taker has an outside shot. Still, I'll go with Flair.

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The UK Pack “Paul Burchill & Harry Smith” (c) vs. The Pitbulls

UK Pack is a great team, and I really don't think they'd lose to the teeny Pits this close to 'Mania. However, something could happen at No Way Out between these guys. I'm just glad I'm not alone in pushing Burch in a tag team style thing . Push him to the moon and back.

WWE WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP
Victoria vs. “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix (c)

This feud is great from what I've read in the preview, but I think its Vicky's time so you can build her as a champion at NWO and potentially 'mania. If she doesn't win here, then somepoint soon I expect to see the Women's title on Vicki.

Triple H vs. Kane
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Vince McMahon
SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER: John “Bradshaw” Layfield
SPECIAL GUEST TIMEKEEPER: Shane McMahon

Winning the Rumble, challenging for the WWE Championship, and he's also got the most powerful family in wrestling behind him for a match? The most obvious decision on the card unless you throw us a nasty curveball and say otherwise...

Rey Mysterio vs. Elijah Burke

I mark out for Rey every time, but I'd also like a mini Burke push I guess.

Hit me up when this is up, man. I'm looking foward to a great card from you. Don't disappoint
