". . . To Be Loved"
*Video Recap*
From Last Week!
The
WWE Champion,
Shawn Michaels is standing in the middle of the ring holding a microphone and his music cuts, bringing out a whole host of "HBK" chants.
Shawn Michaels: This year I'll be competing against someone I have a whole lot o'hist'ry with. You know him by the name Triple H.
*Major Heat*
Shawn Michaels: T' me he's Hun'er, an' even though we've talked about this moment f' years an' how great it is t' be doing it on the 25th anniversary f' the WWE title, it seems that's not enough f' my old buddy. It seems he wants t' send me back t' my ranch in Texas. Not just that he wants t' send me back t' my wife an' kids crippled and end my career.
*Major Heat*
Shawn Michaels: Y'know what? That's fine 'cause that doesn't mean it's gonna happen. If you wanna end my career Hun'er, give it y'best shot my man. You might think this is a battle I can't win but you know as well as I do Jack that this, this is my stage. You can play it down all you want, there's a reason I got the name of Mr. Wrestlemania, an' in six weeks you're gonna find out why when I stand in this ring like I am right now, standing tall with the WWE Championship.
Shawn lifts the title up and gets a big pop from the Miami crowd.
Shawn Michaels: We've met before an' we might meet again, but against The Main Event in the main event on the stage The Showstopper shines, you have no idea Hun'er. You said last week this is gonna be a battle, a battle apparently I can't win, so I thought I'd show you that there's plenty of fight left in the old dog yet.
"Behold the King, the King of Kings. . ."
'The King of Kings' Triple H with fury written all over his as face slowly walks out to the stage, stopping & staring right down at Michaels who stares right back up at him. The former WWE Champion turns briefly to the crowd, giving them mean looks too before making his way down to the ring, eyes fixed firmly on The Heartbreak Kid all the way with Shawn also not taking his eyes off his Wrestlemania opponent. The Game makes his way up the steps and enters the ring, getting even angrier as he walks right up to Michaels, staring right at him but brushes past him to walk over to the apron, getting a microphone handed to him. His music stops, bringing out the heat as he turns back and walks into the centre of the ring, again sights set firmly on Michaels.
Triple H: You're right about one thing. After last week an' that cheap shot it's not just a battle, it's a war. That's if I don't beat the crap out of you right here right now.
Shawn smirks, clearly not intimidated despite the anger on Triple H's face being there for all to see.
Shawn Michaels: Hun'er you're the one who declared war on me. Last week was my way of letting you know I'm ready. I know just how much you wanna kick my ass an' take this title back, an' like I said, that doesn't mean it's gonna happen. This whole man on a mission thing you've got going on, we both know why it is. The whole reason you wanna beat me up so bad is 'cause I did the impossible, the thing you said couldn't be done at the Royal Rumble. You're the one that said that it was impossible t' defend the WWE title by starting the Royal Rumble match an' going all the way t' the end t' be the last man standing. You were right about one thing too. You couldn't do it. There's only one problem though right Hun'er? I did. I did the impossible.
Triple H is fuming but somehow manages to keep it all inside as he stares furiously at Michaels.
Triple H: Believe what you want Shawn. You've always had a big mouth. I know how much you fear getting in the ring with me at Wrestlemania. You more than anyone know what I'm capable of. You know that I can end your career at Wrestlemania, Mr. Wrestlemania or not, I guarantee that it will be your last match. If you're so confident you'll beat me in London, prove it. Put your career on the line Shawn, I dare you.
Again that brings a smirk to the face of the WWE Champion.
Shawn Michaels: Hun'er, I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna do it f' a couple of reasons. F' one the title's already on the line. My career doesn't need t' be. You beat me you get the title back, you win regardless. Most importantly though Hun'er, only one person's gonna decide when it's time my career comes to an end, an' that's Shawn Michaels.
*Pop*
Shawn Michaels: I'll call it a day when the time's right. You don't get t' decide that, I do.
Triple H: Just as I thought. As always you're all talk. You've left me with no choice. You f'got t' realise that there's another way your career can end, if someone ends it for you. The decision can be taken out of your hands Shawn. That's what'll happen when I beat you within an inch of your life.

The cameraman turns round to show some workers/agents running towards what looks to be the entrance to the parking lot. The camera follows and runs outside where the workers are crouched down by a car, and they part as a medic rushes out, and now we can see that the
WWE Champion,
Shawn Michaels is down by what appears to be his car with some blood coming from his forehead. He's conscious but barely moving with the camera panning to the side to show
Triple H standing there smirking.
Medic: Shawn, can you hear me?
Triple H: Have a safe journey home champ.
The King of Kings walks away with a sadistic smile on his face as
Eric Bischoff runs outside.
Eric Bischoff: What happened?
He immediately looks and sees Triple H walking away as medics check on Shawn's condition.
Eric Bischoff: Is he okay?
Medic: I'm not sure. I think we need to get him to the emergency room.
Eric Bischoff: Okay. Whatever you need t' do doc.
[Bischoff shakes his head looking in The Game's direction, absolutely furious as the medics attend to the WWE Champion who looks in a bad way, still struggling to move.

"IF YA SM-E-L-L WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN'. . ."
The crowd goes absolutely nuts as they await the arrival of The People's Champion, and they don't have to wait long as
The Rock walks out into the arena to another rapturous reception, stopping to take it all in. He smiles, revelling in the response from the crowd and walks to both sides of the stage, getting them going even more before heading down to the ring. He steps inside and the crowd goes wild again, and he heads to the opposite corner, climbing up to the second rope and throwing his right arm up into the air. The fans are eating it up big time as he looks into the Miami crowd, loving every minute. He steps down and is handed a microphone by the timekeeper and walks into the middle of the ring with his music coming to a stop.
"ROCKY, ROCKY. . ."
The Rock: It's been a long time since I've done this so bear with me . .
FIN-ALLY THE ROCK
HAS COME BACK. . . HOME.
*Huge Pop*
The Rock: It really has been a long time, too long people, but one thing that's not changed all this time is you, the people. The Rock has always had the support of people, and there's no people quite like The Rock's people right here in Miami, and let me tell you I appreciate ev'ry single one of you.
*Pop*
The Rock: I'm playin' people. I'm here t' have fun t'night. I'm here t' see the people but I'm actually here f' another reason too. See last year after having a great career here in the WWE, I had the huge honour of being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
*Big Pop*
The Rock: That's right, a great honour. As much as I've achieved in this ring, in this business and the movie business, that was without question the greatest moment of my career. Aside from the birth of my daughter it was the best moment of my life.
T'night I have the honour of naming the first person to be inducted this year. Not just that, the night before Wrestlemania I will be in London England to personally induct this person myself.
*Pop*
The Rock: As I just said, I had a great career with some great moments. World titles, main eventing Wrestlemania, Hall of Fame I've done it all. There's nothing I haven't done. . .
"One More Match, One More Match. . ."
Rocky laughs, amused by their chant.
The Rock: It's a cliché I know but as they always say, never say never.
*Big Pop*
The Rock: Like I was saying, I've done it all an' had some great moments but I've also had some crazy moments I've loved just as much, which ironically is why I'm here t'night apart from t' see the people of course. . . In life we all need someone a little crazy t' keep us en'ertained. That's what I had with this person I'll induct into the Hall of Fame. We had a blast. We had fun, we en'ertained an' we had a connection, a special connection, something which had a special name. . . the Rock an' Sock connection.
*Huge Pop*
The Rock: That's right. We had some fun an' we kicked some ass. We were even the tag team champions f' a while. I think you know who I'm talking about, so with that said Miami, I want you all t' stand up an' give this very soon t' be Hall of Famer the response he deserves. Ladies an' gentleman it is my
honour, my
pleasure to announce that right here right now to announce an' welcome t' the Hall of Fame,
and this ring,
MICK FOLEY.
"Wreck"
Another huge pop breaks out as
Mick Foley walks out to the stage with a big smile on his face, embarrassingly holding his right hand up before making his way down to the ring. He steps inside and walks up to The Rock, getting a big guy hug from his former tag team partner and he's a handed a microphone by The Great One. The music cuts and the cheers continue with chants of "Foley" as he looks into the crowd, taking in their admiration.
Mick Foley: I won't make a big speech t'night. I'll leave that 'til the night itself. I do though want to thank the WWE of course for choosing to induct me. It really is a great honour, as is having arguably the greatest of all time being here t'night as well as inducting me too. Without the support of you and the fans all over the world I wouldn't have had the career I've had and enjoyed so much, so from the bottom of my hearts I want to thank each and ev'ryone of you for supporting me through the years. Without it this wouldn't be possible, but I don't wanna talk about me Rock. I wanna talk about you. Five years ago you had your last match with me when The Rock an' Sock Connection reunited f' one night only, and I couldn't help but hear earlier that the people were chanting "one more match". I did hear that right?
*Big Pop*
"One more match, one more match. . ."
Mick Foley: It sounds t' me Rock the people wanna see The Rock have one more match. They're not the only ones. I. . .
"Metalingus"
The arena erupts with a chorus of boos as
'The Rated-R Superstar' Edge hits the stage with a serious look on his face, looking down at the ring not happy at all. In jeans and a T-shirt he stomps his way down there with Rocky & Foley confused, and The Rock looks furious.
Edge: I'm sorry f' interrupting this big occasion but when I heard what was going down t'night I just had t' be here. I mean you going in the Hall of Fame. What a joke.
*Major Heat*
Edge: The only thing better than that is we get The Rock here too. I guess it's appropriate you're the one who's going to induct him, 'cause just like Mick you're weren't a great wrestler either.
*More Heat*
The Rock: . . . Hey listen up you disrespectful son of a bitch.
*Big Pop*
Edge doesn't take that at all well, glaring furiously at The Rock.
The Rock: Who the hell do you think you are coming down here? Do I even know who you are? You do look a little familiar. Remind me of your name jackass.
Edge: You don't remember be? Come on. You know who I am. I'm. . .
The Rock: . . . It
doesn't matter what your name is.
*Huge Pop*
The Rock: You're lucky I don't slap that huge chin off that even uglier face, an' yeah I know who you are. You were that weird kid with long hair who'd sneak around the back in stupid big ass glasses. Now you call yourself The Rated-R Superstar. With that long ass jacket you usually wear with that stupid long hair you look more like The Rated-R Transvestite.
The crowd reacts with most laughing, not at all going down well with the furious Edge.
The Rock: Was it you I saw prancing up an' down some highway pretending you were Ric Flair in a robe? What the hell is wrong with you? You really are a transvestite, but y'know what? I'm not here t' judge. I'm here f' one thing, to show a legend in Mick Foley the respect he deserves. You, you need t' get the hell out of this ring before I whoop your candy ass all over Miami.
*Massive Pop*
Edge tries to laugh it off but keeps his cool, just.
Edge: Y'know what? I said what I came here t' say, so fine, I'll go. . . right after I. . .
Edge out of nowhere nails The Rock with a microphone, putting him on the mat to a ton of heat. The crowd are pissed, and so is Foley as he spins Edge out to hammer him. The Rated-R Superstar ducks it though and runs the ropes, coming off them to take the future Hall of Famer down with a spear. Edge glares down at him on his knees, running his hand through his hair as The Rock sits up watching, absolutely incensed with anger all over his face. He makes his way back up behind Edge, and as the Canadian slowly stands back up he turns round to see Rocky pissed, and The Rock plants him with a thunderous Rock Bottom to a huge pop. He stands back up and stares down at him, still livid as his music plays again, and he turns to see Foley sitting up. Rocky walks over to him and gives him a helping hand, asking him if he's okay as they both look down at Edge before Rock raises Foley's hand, pointing to him as the fans cheer the hometown Hall of Famer and soon to be Hall of Famer with Edge slowly coming round.

Smackdown Last Friday
"Metalingus"
A chorus of boos meets
'The Rated-R Superstar' Edge as he walks out to the stage, not looking too happy it would seem, barely looking into the crowd as he stomps down the ramp towards the ring. He picks a microphone up off the apron as he takes the steps, staring into the ring at Cena & Vince as his music is cut by the boys in the truck.
Edge: I couldn't care less about you, The Undertaker or the damn streak. All I care about is being in the main event of Wrestlemania like I was last year an' once again becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. There's no one better than me. Seriously, who else is there? I've won ev'rything here there is t' win. No one else even comes close.
Mr. McMahon: Edge let me stop you right there. There's a lot of truth to what you just said. Indeed you have accomplished practically ev'rything there is. There's just one problem I have. See you talked about how you were in the main event last year. That's true, you were. You challenged for the World Heavyweight Championship too in the main event. . . and you lost.
Edge: I can't believe this. Yeah I lost year but it doesn't mean I wouldn't win this year.
Mr. McMahon: That's true. I have however made my decision, and like ev'ryone else you will find out that is later on.
Edge: Alright fine but you're making a big mistake. I gotta admit I kinda knew last week even though I won my match you were gonna pick someone else anyway. I don't know who but I had that feeling. Honestly, I'm with John. I'll get that chance soon enough anyway 'cause I've got another idea that'll make you really stand up an' take notice. Monday night on Raw I went there t' make my feelings known about Mick Foley getting in the Hall of Fame an' t' tell The Rock what I thought of him too. One thing I heard while I was there was these idiots chanting one more match at 'im. Well I'm gonna give them what they wanna see. I'm gonna go back t' Raw on Monday night t' challenge the so called great one to a match at Wrestlemania.
*Huge Pop*
Edge: Yeah, you might wanna see The Rock have one more match. The problem is if he accepts, it'll be a match he loses I guarantee y'that. Then Vince, you'll have no choice but t' give me a shot at the world title.
Edge slams his microphone down and turns round to leave the ring, stomping back up the ramp with "Metalingus" playing while Cena & Vince share a joke amongst themselves.
Raw's
Head of Authority,
Eric Bischoff is standing in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand and ready to address the audience.
Eric Bischoff: I think you all know by now we're well on the road to Wrestlemania. . .
*Pop*
Eric Bischoff: Absolutely. You have ev'ry right t' be excited. It's going t' be an incredible event this year, make no mistake about it. The reason I'm out here right now is that yesterday I met with Vince McMahon in Stamford before coming here to discuss several things, but we came to an agreement that's going t' make the road t' Wrestlemania even more entertaining f' all of you.
*More Cheers*
Eric Bischoff: So as of t'night, superstars from Raw an' Smackdown can appear on both shows.
*Big Pop*
Eric Bischoff: You like that? I thought you might.
The fans cheer again, clearly happy.
Eric Bischoff: There is however a couple of things you might not like. The first being that as of last Friday night, Randy Orton is now a Smackdown superstar and he is not here t'night.
*Boos*
Eric Bischoff: I'm not happy about it either but it is what it is. There is another superstar who unfortunately isn't here in Hartford. After what happened last week, the WWE Champion Shawn Michaels has been told t' stay home in Texas to recuperate from his injuries, so he too won't be here t'night.
*Major Heat*
Eric Bischoff: However, what I can tell you is that the man responsible f' that, Triple H, will be in action later on in our main event against a member of the Smackdown roster. . .
T'night, in this very ring, Triple H will go one-on-one with
John Cena.
*Massive Pop*
Eric Bischoff: Oh it doesn't end there. After the challenge made by Edge on Smackdown, here live t'night on Raw to answer that challenge in person, is
The Rock.
*Huge Pop*
Eric Bischoff: That's right folks. The Rock will be here later on and we're also going t' have a tag team match which will see Rey Mysterio team up with the reigning King of the Ring Matt Sydal t' take on both the Intercontinental Champion Sheamus
and the United States Champion
Dolph Ziggler.
*More Cheers*
Eric Bischoff: Now though it's time t' kick this show with some action.
"AWE-SOME. . ."
Boos come from the stands as
The Miz walks out to the stage, looking into the crowd with a very disapproving look, showing the fans no love whatsoever. Bischoff takes his leave from the ring and heads up the ramp as a very serious Miz walks down it, passing his boss and giving him a dirty look too. It doesn't bother Bischoff at all. He even cracks a wry smile as he passes The Miz, and the Clevelander enters the ring to more heat. He's ready for action, pulls his T-shirt off and throws it over the top rope before looking up at the stage, psyching himself up.
"Radio"
Zack Ryder hits the stage full of energy to a decent pop as The Miz looks up angrily at his opponent. Ryder soaks up the ovation and heads on down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans on his way to the ring.
*Video Recap*
From Last Week!
The Miz doesn't look too happy as he's shown walking back from the ring, walking right into the path of a sn-iggering
Zack Ryder, not making Miz's mood any better at all.
Zack Ryder: Hey look who it is. Who looks like the loser now huh oh awesome one? Great job man.
The Miz: You're calling me a loser, really?
Really? I'd rather lose one match than be a loser my entire life.
Zack Ryder: One match? Seriously bro?
The Miz: Yeah
bro, seriously. I'll prove it. Next week, you an' me. How about it?
Zack Ryder: You an' me next week? Oh you know it's on.
Zack smiles, clearly looking forward to the match before walking off with the angry Miz watching him walk away with contempt.
*The Opening Match*
Zack Ryder vs. The Miz
Ryder had the fans behind him from the very start, but he was up against a very serious Miz. The Long Islander was up fired-up too, and after Miz started strongly, Zack came back firing when he dodged a leg drop bulldog to seize momentum. He had Mr. Hollywood reeling, and Miz just survived after finding himself on the end of a lifting inverted DDT. Ryder as well as the fans were surprised to see Miz get his shoulder up at the count of two, and they were sweating in the latter stages with Ryder in trouble. Miz wasn't happy to see Ryder kick out of a springboard bulldog, and the fans' cheers did little to settle his frustration. He locked & loaded on Zack, stalking him as he made his way back up. The Clevelander was circling him and jumped on him as he made it up, grabbing his arms for the Skull Crushing Finale. Ryder slipped out of his grasp though and took him down with a two-handed twisting neckbreaker.
The fans cheered and Miz dragged himself towards the corner, sitting up against the pads trying to get his breath back. Ryder though had other ideas and ran in at him, driving his boot into Miz's kisser. Miz though pulled himself away at the last second and managed to slip behind Ryder to roll him up, using the ropes as leverage too as the ref made the count, but it was only two. The fans breathed a sigh of relief as Ryder kicked out, and they both rushed their way back up with Ryder ducking a wild clothesline to roll Miz up himself. Again it was a two, and as they raced their way up again, Ryder caught him with a drop toe hold on to the second turnbuckle in the corner. Miz hit it head first and Ryder stood back up to a pretty loud pop from the Hartford fans who willed him on. He turned & watched as Miz slowly tried to drag himself back up, and Zack backtracked across the canvas, sights set on the weary Miz.
Miz turned to face him, eyes all over the shop and Ryder didn't waste a second, running right at him and connecting with the Rough Ryder! The fans were loving it and counted along with the referee to three as Ryder picked up a big win for him. He was over the moon too, wearing a big smile as he got his arm raised by the ref with "Radio" playing again. He hit the corner to celebrate his win which you could tell meant a lot to him, fist pumping on the second rope with a huge smile on his face. He nodded in approval at the crowd's response to him, but as he stepped off the ropes he was clobbered from behind by The Miz. The fans threw a ton of heat at the incensed Clevelander who just stared down furiously at Ryder without a shred of remorse. He looked up to the fans, not caring about their reaction. He then dragged Ryder up and drilled him with the Skull Crushing Finale to even more heat. Again he stared furiously at Zack before standing up and leaving the ring to a barrage of boos from the fans inside the XL Center.
Winner: Zack Ryder by pinfall.
Jim Ross: It's no surprise to anyone that The Miz is such a bad loser. It was a great win f' Zack Ryder but again we see Miz with a cheap shot. . . Anyway folks, you heard Eric Bischoff tell us a few minutes ago that The Rock will be here t'night in Hartford to respond to Edge's challenge to a match at Wrestlemania. I can't speak f' ev'ryone King but I think it's safe t' say that no one wouldn't wanna see The Rock at Wrestlemania.
Jerry Lawler: F' sure JR. It'd be incredible t' have The Rock back even if it is just f' one night.
Jim Ross: Well it's not just The Rock we're looking forward to t'night. Our main event still t' come will see Triple H go one-on-one with the man who'll attempt to end The Undertaker's legendary streak at Wrestlemania, John Cena. What a match that is going t' be. It's going t' be a great show t'night folks I promise you that.
*Commercial Break*
Leticia Cline is standing by backstage at the interview set.
Leticia Cline: Ladies an' gentleman please welcome my guests at this time, John Morrison and Justin Gabriel.
The camera zooms out and there stand the highly impressive duo of
John Morrison & Justin Gabriel along with the
Bella Twins who hang on to them, looking happy to be doing so too.
John Morrison: Hey Leticia.
Leticia Cline: Thanks for joining me guys. Now there's no doubt you two have got ev'ryone on Raw talking. A lot of people have said you're the hottest new tag team in the company. It's not hard t' see why. You're undefeated in the matches you've had, and it's pretty clear you're a hit with the ladies too.
Both Morrison & Gabriel look somewhat embarrassed by that.
John Morrison: Well I don't know about that last bit. . .
Brie Bella: . . . We do.
That gets a hint of a smile, albeit an embarrassed one from Morrison.
John Morrison: It's great that they're saying nice things about us. I appreciate that. I'm sure Justin does too. I know I enjoy teaming with him an' we're doing okay right now. I had great success as part of M'n'M but I like the way things are going right now I gotta say.
Leticia Cline: Do you agree with that Justin?
Justin Gabriel: Absolutely. It's going great right now. John's a great partner. I think ev'ryone knows M'n'M were a great team an' John's a great wrestler. He's a great guy too, we get on great an' it's nice that other people, fans an' Bischoff like what we're doing. Hopefully we go an' prove them right.
Nikki Bella: You will. We know you will.
Nikki rubs Gabriel's arm, gazing adoringly into his eyes when
Cody Rhodes & Joe Hennig walk into the scene, neither looking at all happy but Cody especially.
Cody Rhodes: You're kidding me right? How long is this going t' go on for? I heard enough about how great these two are weeks ago when ev'ryone needs t' realise that the real future of the tag team division an' this company is Joe an' I. You might be two pretty boys or whatever these two skanks call you. We're the real deal where it matters, in that ring. It's in our DNA. When they see that, no one will be talking about you two anymore, that's a promise.
Cody turns his head and walks away, followed by Hennig who gives them a dirty look too before walking away.
Nikki Bella: They're just jealous.
Brie Bella: So jealous.
Both Morrison & Gabriel as well as the Bella Twins watch them leave, not happy it would appear.
*Match #2*
The Colon Brothers vs. The Pitbulls
Carlito & Eddie were popular with the crowd, and they continued to be throughout as they went about trying to defeat the Smackdown duo of Jamie Noble & Kid Kash. As ever The Pitbulls were up for the fight, not letting the Puerto Rican siblings get on top of them. The frustration of the fans was clear, but Carlito & Eddie were also ready to fight it out. Kash was fuming Eddie made it to the ropes when in the Kash On Delivery, an elevated Boston crab. Kash dragged him right back up and put him on his back courtesy of a snap suplex. He then wasted no time in going up top, where he leapt off for a frog splash, but Eddie rolled out of the way of it to a big pop. Both men then crawled towards their respective corners, tagging in their partners to more cheers from the fans as Carlito ducked a clothesline from Noble and ran into the ropes.
He jumped on to the second for a springboard back elbow smash. That just got the fans going even more, and he came close to getting the win with a springboard moonsault until Kash stormed the ring and broke it up, diving across desperately on top of Carlito. Eddie wasn't happy and hit the ring too, taking both himself & Kash over the top rope with a clothesline full of momentum. It left Carlito & Noble on the inside, and as they made their way back up, Noble caught him with a stiff kick to the gut, then set him up for a powerbomb. Carlito countered with a hurricanrana, only getting a two count though, but as they then raced back up Noble reversed a whip to the corner. Carlito hit the pads tamely, and as Noble ran in, Carlito stepped to the side as Noble ran chest first into the pads.
Carlito reacted in a flash by slipping behind Noble to hit the Backstabber to a big pop. Kash tried to get back inside but was pulled out to the floor by Eddie who watched his older brother pull Noble away slightly from the ropes to make the cover and secure the win for himself & Eddie. "Cool" hit to another strong pop from the Hartford fans as the brothers gave each other a big hug after getting their arms raised. Their celebration was cut short though as the World Tag Team Champions, Christopher Daniels & Kaval walked out to the stage with Daniels holding a microphone. The siblings' music cut and they turned to look up at the champs they've managed to unsettle as of late.
Winners: The Colon Brothers by pinfall.
Christopher Daniels: Gentlemen, last week you made some kind of gesture alluding to taking our tag team titles from us. I'm now taking the opportunity to tell you two that we worked so hard to finally get our hands on them that we're not going to give up, let alone to a team that's managed to spring a couple of lucky meaningless victories t'gether.
*Some Boos*
Christopher Daniels: I'm sorry to break it to you but you will not be receiving a championship opportunity until we feel you deserve one, if that day even comes. As it stands at this very moment, you're not even close, however tough that may be to hear.
Carlito turns round and gets a microphone handed to him through the ropes.
Carlito: I don't know 'bout you Eddie but it sounds t' me like they're scared. What you think bro'?
Eddie nods in approval with his brother.
Christopher Daniels: As much as I'm sure you would like that to be true, unfortunately it is not.
Carlito: Not scared huh? If you've got da guts, prove it. It's dat simple.
Christopher Daniels: It's not up to us to prove anything, as you can see (pointing to the title). You are the ones who have to prove yourselves. We're the champions, not you. I rest my case.
Daniels drops the microphone, and both he & Kaval lift their titles up in the air, not going down at all well with the fans.
Jim Ross: It looks t' me that Carlito may have a point. However, in some way King, so do the champions.
Chris Jericho, the self proclaimed best in the world at what he does is shown making his way through the back, all suited & booted.
Jim Ross: It's time for a quick commercial break, but when we come back it looks like we'll be joined by Chris Jericho. We'll be back in just a few minutes.
*Commercial Break*
2009 WWE Hall of Fame Inductees: The Road Warriors
To Be Inducted By Paul Ellering
2009 Hall of Fame Class: Mick Foley & The Road Warriors.
"Break the walls DOWN. . ."
Chris Jericho steps out from the back in his designer suit looking out into the crowd with the fans booing him, not getting much love at all. He shakes his head & tuts before heading on down the ramp to the ring, picking a microphone up off the steps as he enters it. He walks into centre stage with the fans still booing him as his music cuts, and he shakes his head in disgust again, waiting for them to die down, which they do.
Chris Jericho: So it appears that The Road Warriors will be joining the Hall of Fame. They certainly are worthy additions as I will be when I inevitably join them and so many other legends, and in less than five weeks I will cement my legacy at Wrestlemania by winning this year's Money in the Bank match.
*Major Heat*
Chris Jericho: At this moment however I wish to speak about something else. Over the last seven days there's been a lot of people talking about how a week ago in this ring I lost to the WWE Champion Shawn Michaels.
*Pop*
Chris Jericho: I urge you not to read anything into the outcome of that match simply because the fact is that the outcome of the match was irrelevant. I wasn't and will continue not to waste my energy or give my best in any match with the weight of the prize on the line in the Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania. The idea of even doing anything but is preposterous, and when I am successful and I claim the Money in the Bank contract, I could cash in that night and defeat Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship as I could have last week had I treated the match as seriously as I will when I do eventually cash in.
*Heat*
Chris Jericho: That's if of course he defeats Triple H. Either way I will leave London England as the WWE Champion, maybe even as the World Heavyweight Champion. I have options coming out of my ears. I should know as it is my concept, only this year I will be the one to. . .
"GO. . . If you close your eyes. . ."
The crowd goes nuts for
'Captain Charisma' Christian as he makes a surprise appearance on the stage. The Smackdown superstar stops & looks out into the stands, making his return after a couple of weeks out due to a concussion received at No Way Out. He struts on down to the ring in a good mood, although Jericho clearly isn't happy at the interruption, and he watches angrily as Christian hits the ring gazing into the crowd again before walking over to the apron to collect a microphone. The angry Jericho turns round and watches as Captain Charisma walks towards him as his music cuts.
Christian: How are all my peeps here in Hartford Connecticut t'night?
*Huge Cheer*
Christian: I've gotta say it sure is great t' be back on Raw after all these years. This deal allowing me to come here's awesome too as it gives me the chance Chris t' tell you t' shut the hell up.
*Big Pop*
Christian: Thanks to the concussion I got a few weeks ago at No Way Out I've had the chance t' sit back an' watch like all my peeps. I was watching your match too last week Chris an' there's no way in hell you were taking it easy. You wan'ed t' win. You got cocky an' you lost. It's that simple.
*Pop*
Christian: I've got no problem with you talking about wan'ing t' win Money in the Bank. The thing is Chris you're taking it f' gran'ed. Who knows? You might win it, but then again you might not.
*More Cheers*
Christian: It's not in the bag my friend. You've gotta earn it, an' there's no tougher match t' win. Ev'ryone in the back wants a shot in this match. I'm no diff'rent. All I've wan'ed since I came back is a shot at CM Punk. By winning Money in the Bank I can get that shot at the world title, so Chris if you think you've got this sewn up you're gonna have t' go through me.
*Big Pop*
Chris Jericho: In all the years we've known each other you've always been a joke, and you still are.
*Heat*
Chris Jericho: In fact I think you might still have a concussion because in no way shape or form are you a threat to me winning Money in the Bank.
Christian: I assure you I'm fine. My concussion's cleared, but you're right. We do go a long way back. Think back five years ago Chris and the 20th anniversary of Wrestlemania at Madison Square Garden. I was more than a threat that night an' I beat your ass.
*Big Cheer*
Christian: Yeah you're damn right. I proved you an' the critics wrong that night. This year I'm gonna do all I can t' do the same by winning Money in the Bank t' go all the way to the top. I'm good t' go again an' nothing's stopping me, not even you or your big mouth.
*More Cheers*
Chris Jericho: I'm afraid you're deluding yourself. I think you should go back to your doctor because it looks like that concussion's done some serious damage to that already small brain of yours.
*Heat*
Chris Jericho: If you seriously think you have even the slightest chance of winning Money in the Bank you need help.
Christian: Is that so?
Chris Jericho: Yes. Yes it is.
Christian: Alright, that's your opinion, I respect that, but you wanna hear my opinion Chris?
Christian drops the microphone and kicks Jericho's gut in a flash, then drills him with a Killswitch to a huge pop. "Just Close Your Eyes" hits and Christian looks down at Jericho with a smirk on his face, then salutes the crowd before leaving the ring and heading back up the ramp all smiles as Jericho sits up looking up furiously at Christian. Captain Charisma turns round and the smile on his face infuriates Jericho as he stares up at his fellow Canadian revelling in the response from the fans.
Jim Ross: Make no mistake about it folks, Christian means business and he's put Chris Jericho in his place t'night. If we didn't know it already, we're going t' be in f' a treat in this year's Money in the Bank match. . .
Kofi Kingston & Jay Lethal are shown walking through the back on a split screen, both ready for action and looking very fired-up indeed.
Jim Ross: . . . And when we come back in just a matter of minutes we're going t' find out which of these brothers, Kofi Kingston or Jay Lethal will join Chris Jericho an' The Big Show in that match at Wrestlemania. You won't want t' miss this. It's Kofi an' Lethal when we return.
*Commercial Break*
Christian is shown walking back from the ring, and as he turns a corner in the hallway, he bumps into his brother,
'The Rated-R Superstar' Edge, bringing a smile to Edge's face.
Edge: Hey bro', I've not seen you f' a while. Why is that?. . . Oh yeah, I beat the crap out of you at No Way Out.
Christian: Yeah, yeah you did. You deserved it too on the night. I guess we're even now an' y'never know, we might meet again sometime soon with the same outcome as Summerslam. . .
Edge: . . . Yeah you're kidding y'self. That win at Summerslam's irrelevant now C, just like you are. While you're trying t' get into Money in the Bank I'll be going t' Wrestlemania t' face The Rock, if he's got the guts that is. If he accepts my challenge, just like I did you at No Way Out, I'll beat The Great One too.
Christian: Yeah? Good luck with that. If that happens, and it's a big if, I'll be busy winning the Money in the Bank contract that'll make me a world champion in waiting. I do that an' you lose t' The Rock, No Way Out will be irrelevant too
bro'.
Captain Charisma walks away leaving a pissed Edge behind.
*Match #3*
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Jay Lethal
These two brothers couldn't have been any more determined as they made their way out, and like their match that Jay won at the Royal Rumble, there was something big waiting for the winner. It was a real back & forth match with the fans firmly behind Kingston. It might've been a surprise at the Rumble when Lethal beat Kofi, but because of that the fans weren't surprised to see him going toe-to-toe with his brother and putting him in real danger. Kofi as ever though showed his fierce determination, ducking a super kick before hitting the S.O.S, rolling Jay into a pinfall situation. Jay kicked out though but Kofi was about to take control, firing his brother into the corner before jumping in for a stinger splash before monkey flipping him out. The fans were getting louder & louder as Kofi then climbed up to the top rope with Lethal dragging himself back up. Kofi watched as Jay then turned to face him, and The Jamaican Sensation dived off for a huge high angle cross body, taking Jay down for the cover.
Again though Jay kicked out, and as they made their way back up, Kofi was getting ready for the Trouble In Paradise. He leapt up into the air and went for it, but Jay ducked it and hit it himself, the Enzufury as he calls it. Kofi rolled towards the ropes, and it saved him as he just managed to get his foot on the bottom rope before the ref count to three, denying Jay another big win over his brother. Lethal sat up in shock, absolutely furious to see Kofi's foot there on the rope. He stood up shaking his head, watching Kofi drag himself up using the ropes, and it looked like Jay was about to explode. He went after Kofi and dragged him away from the ropes, pulling him into the Lethal Combination, an STO backbreaker into a reverse STO. Lethal signalled it was done and went for the cover, only to be denied again by Kofi getting his shoulder up to a big pop. Jay was livid and questioned the ref's count as Kofi slowly sat up. The frustration was deepening for Lethal as he looked ready to explode, glaring at Kofi struggling to make it back up.
Kofi made it up though, looking there for the taking when Lethal pounced, grabbing him for the Lethal Injection, the belly-to-back suplex lift into a neckbreaker. Kofi though slipped round the waistlock and took Jay down with a Russian legsweep. The fans cheered, and as they both picked themselves back up, Kofi was on the receiving end of a European uppercut that put him down on one knee. Lethal was determined to seal the deal and turned back to run the ropes, but as he Jay ran back across the mat, Kofi shot up and exploded with the Trouble In Paradise. The fans went nuts as Jay just collapsed in a heap with Kofi scurrying across the mat to make the cover, getting the three count and a place in this year's Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania. "S.O.S." blasted out to a huge pop as Kofi then stood up to get his arm raised by the referee, looking thoroughly delighted to have got the win over Jay to make up for the Rumble and book a spot in Money in the Bank.
Jay rolled out of the ring, leaving Kofi to celebrate with the fans, heading to the corner and climbing the ropes, soaking it up. As he celebrated, some boos came from the crowd, and all of a sudden he was nailed in the back and pulled off the ropes by Jack Swagger. The music cut as The All-American American for whatever reason lifted Kofi up off his feet and charged into the opposite corner, driving his back into the pads, then tossed him down on to the mat with the Oklahoma Stampede. The fans were furious but powerless as Swagger then grabbed Kofi's left ankle and applied the Ankle Lock to a chorus of boos. Swagger was like a man possessed and had Kofi screaming in pain, tapping out with the referee trying to get him off, but he couldn't. Eventually Swagger relented and let go, getting more boos thrown at him by the disgusted Connecticut crowd. Swagger didn't give a toss and just stared remorselessly into the stands as "On Your Knees" hit. He took another look down at Kofi before leaving the ring, walking back up the ramp to a ton of heat.
Winner: Kofi Kingston by pinfall.
Jim Ross: Well we know that Kofi Kingston will be part of Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania after getting this big win over his brother t'night, but for the second straight week, Jack Swagger has inexplicably come out here and attacked someone f' no reason.
Jerry Lawler: And it looks like he's taking great pleasure in it too JR.
Jim Ross: Well it certainly seems that way King. Maybe he'll regret going after Kofi though. I'm sure he won't take this lying down.

*Video Recap*
From Last Week!
"My Time Is Now"
The arena erupts with fans rising to their feet as
John Cena walks out to the stage, stopping to take in the cheers & boos being thrown at him. He smiles through it and does his trademark salute before running down to the ring, looking back to normal after last week's troubles despite the decision he plans to make. He hits the ring to more thunderous cheers & boos as he poses for the fans, then walks across to the apron to collect a microphone. The music stops and the noise is deafening as Cena soaks it in, enjoying the moment.
John Cena: This is what this time of year's all about. Wrestlemania is like nothing else. The slightest mention of Wrestlemania gets the hair on the back of my neck standing up. I've been lucky enough t' main event a fair few in recent times. In fact ev'ry match I've had at Wrestlemania, a title's been on the line. The first time I won the United States Championship. The last four years it's been f' the WWE title. All but one of those matches, last year as it goes, I've won. This year though I'm in the position where I can fight for the World Heavyweight Championship against the man who just manages to escape ev'ry timeI face him,
CM Punk.
*Mixed*
John Cena: Vince McMahon has given me one more chance, an' after ev'rything me an' Punk 'ave been through the last few months, you have no idea how much I wanna beat that guy an' become the World Heavyweight Champion. It's what I've been trying t' do the last six months it feels like, but one thing after another keeps happening t' stop me, whether it be Stephanie McMahon, Punk getting his buddies t' help him out or a certain dead man chokeslams me in the middle of this ring when I'm about to walk out of the cage an' grab that title.
*Mixed*
John Cena: That, that's the twist in the tale. . . That twist goes by the name of. . .
"Undertaker. . . Undertaker. . ."
John Cena: Yeah that's him, The Undertaker.
*Pop*
John Cena: F' the last week, ev'ryone's been talking about if at Wrestlemania 25, the 25th anniversary of the showpiece event in this business, The Undertaker's gonna face John Cena.
*Big Pop*
John Cena: Exactly. Ev'ryone wants t' know, including me. That's the problem. I don't know if that's really on the cards or not. Nobody knows but The Undertaker himself if he challenged me last week, leaving me in this position of whether I accept Vince's challenge or not, or do I find out if he challenged me or not last week? If he did, do I instead choose t' try t' do what no one else ever has? Do I dare walk through the gates of hell an' face the man who at Wrestlemania is 16 an' 0? Do I choose t' do what almost ev'ryone thinks can't be done? Do I go t' Wrestlemania an' try t' beat the streak?
*Mixed*
John Cena: I've gotta admit I'm still not sure I know the answer, but I think, I think I know what I want. . . no, what I have t' do. . . F' months now I've tried t' beat CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, an' at Wrestlemania I have the chance t' do just that. It's a no brainer, or so you'd think. As much as I wanna beat Punk an' win the world title, if he defends that title at Wrestlemania I'll still have that chance another day. The opportunity t' face The Undertaker an' end the streak comes along once a year, an' man do I love a challenge?
*Pop*
John Cena: I've been in this business a long time now an' one man I've always respected the hell out of is The Undertaker. In fact after my first match here he came t' me an' told me "good job kid". I won't f'get that. He helped me out in my early days but now I'm in the position that I have the chance, or at least I think I do t' step inside the ring with one of the all time best on the biggest stage, the stage where he's been invincible. But you know what they say right? All good things must come to an end!
*Heat*
John Cena: I've always been true t' myself. I always try t' be honest an' I can stand here t'night an' say that I've always thought The Undertaker couldn't be beaten at Wrestlemania. I've thought that the streak would never come to an end an' that it shouldn't. Now I'm stood here with maybe the chance t' be the man to achieve the unthinkable. I don't see it as the chance to end it an' rub it in his face. I see this as a challenge, simple as that. I've never ducked a challenge in my life. I never have an' I never will. That's why if the challenge is there, I. . .
*Gong*
The fans go nuts and the lights go out and
"Rest In Peace" hits to more cheers, then
The Undertaker slowly emerges through the smoke blowing across the stage. He carries on slowly down the ramp with Cena watching, smile gone completely, taking The Dead-Man very seriously. Taker gets to the steps, takes them up on to the apron and brings the lights back on to a deafening roar, staring straight ahead at Cena who keeps his eyes on Taker. The phenom enters the ring with his special microphone, menacingly walking towards Cena as his music comes to a halt with the cheers continuing with both men staring right at each other.
The Undertaker: The challenge of which you speak implies you have a choice.
*Pop*
The Undertaker: 41 nights John, you will walk through the gates of hell, and just like ev'ryone before you, you will fall and become another victim of the streak.
*More Cheers*
John Cena: You might be right. Hist'ry dead man says you are. No one has beaten you f' a reason. Hell, you may well be invincible. That's what makes this the biggest challenge of my life or f' anyone who tries t' beat the streak, but like I've said, I've never backed away from a challenge. This, this is no diff'rent. If you say I've got no choice, that doesn't make any diff'rence either. My mind was made up. Wrestlemania 25, The Undertaker versus John Cena. . . it's on.
Cena looks right at Taker, showing he's not intimidated and drops the stick to walk past him and leave the ring, heading back up the ramp as Taker turns to watch him leave. Cena turns back and looks down to the ring and the man he'll face at Wrestlemania as the shot focuses on the Wrestlemania sign above the ring visible behind Taker with Cena looking down at him.

From Smackdown Last Friday
John Cena hits the stage to a huge reaction, largely positive despite a few boos and he stands there taking it in, looking into the crowd nodding his head. He salutes the fans and then bursts down the ramp into the ring, sliding in to another huge response from the Mobile crowd. He soaks it up and his music stops as he gets the fans going even more, just by looking into the stands. He nods in approval again before walking over to the apron to get a microphone, then walks back in a good mood tonight for sure.
John Cena: Well I guess it's official. The speculation, the rumours, the confusion, they're all gone. Now we now that in five weeks at the 25th anniversary of the biggest event in the sports entertainment calendar, it will be John Cena versus The Undertaker.
*Big Pop*
John Cena: This isn't about two guys beating the hell out of each other because we hate each other's guts. It's not about trying t' get the world title from CM Punk. It's about one thing an' one thing only. . . the challenge it presents. You don't need me t' tell you that throughout his incredible career, incredible doesn't do The Undertaker justice when it comes to what he's done at Wrestlemania. In fact it's about what he hasn't done. . . lose. In 16 matches he's never been beaten. That, that's just crazy.
*Pop*
John Cena: F' anyone t' achieve that goes
way beyond impressive. 16 an' 0 at Wrestlemania, it's just crazy thinking about it. It's not like we've not known. The number's been growing f' years. We've talked about it f' a long time. F' a long time now people have said that when it comes t' Wrestlemania The Undertaker is invincible. I respect the streak, but I believe in myself too. I also believe in taking on a challenge. That's why I had t' do this. T' beat The Undertaker you have t' have so much heart. That I've got. As I'm often told, you're not a good wrestler John. Hey, they might be right, but one thing I know how t' do is fight an' I never give up.
*Mixed*
John Cena: That's what it'll take to end the streak. I sure as hell am not gonna back away from it. I respect it but I don't fear it. I don't fear anything. This is going t' be the biggest most challenging fight of my life, but that's what drives me. Do I think I'm going to end the streak? I don't know. Do I think I have what it takes to beat The Undertaker an' end the streak? You're damn right I do.
Leticia Cline again is standing by backstage at the interview set.
Leticia Cline: Joining me at this time. . .
John Cena.
The camera zooms out to show
John Cena standing there looking very calm & relaxed.
Leticia Cline: John, last week we found out that at Wrestlemania you will be taking on The Undertaker, looking to become the first superstar to ever defeat him there. How are you feeling now it's beginning t' sink in the challenge you'll face in five weeks in London?
John Cena: Y'know Leticia there's no doubt this is going t' be the biggest challenge of my entire career. There's a reason no one's beaten him at Wrestlemania. He's one tough son of a bitch anyway, but on the grandest stage of them all he takes it to a whole other level, so much so no one's ever been able to beat him there. That's why it's going t' be the biggest challenge I've ever faced, but like I said last week, I've never backed down from a challenge my entire life. This is no diff'rent. I know how tough it's going t' be but I'm up for the fight an' you better believe me I'm gonna give it ev'rything I've got t' beat The Undertaker at Wrestlemaia.
Leticia Cline: Well it might be five weeks until you meet The Undertaker, t'night though your opponent is Triple H. You two have met at Wrestlemania before too where you came out on top, but this will be a tough match t'night too won't it?
John Cena: No doubt. Whenever you step in the ring with Triple H you know why he says he's that damn good. It's because he is. He's also one slippery son of a bitch. You need eyes in the back of your heard against this guy. He'll do whatever it takes t' beat you, but like I said, I'm always ready f' a fight. It's great t' be back on Raw. I don't regret going back t' Smackdown f' a second despite ev'rything that's gone on. It's all business though t'night. I saw what The King of Kings did t' Shawn Michaels last week an' I don't doubt he'd do that t' me given half the chance t' make sure he beats me t'night. He might think he's going t' beat Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania. He might even think he's going t' beat me later on, but it doesn't mean he will.
Cena turns & looks to the camera, turning serious.
John Cena: I'm ready for ya t'night Hun'er. You want some? Come get some.
The camera zooms in on the serious Cena's face.
A very serious looking
O.D.B. is shown walking through the back.
Jim Ross: That folks is Smackdown diva O.D.B. I don't have a clue what she's doing here but I guess we'll find out in a couple of minutes when we come back from the commercial break.

*Video Recap*
From Smackdown Last Friday
"Glamazon" is playing and Beth is waiting in the ring for her opponent. Her music cuts and all of a sudden
Queen Kong's the
Women's Champion walking out to the stage with a look of fury on her face, completely taking The Glamazon by surprise in the ring. The behemoth menacingly makes her way down to the ring and climbs inside, dropping her title with the referee trying to keep her back. Kong though ignores him and walks right up to Beth, and the Diva's Champion stands her ground. The fans cheer too as Beth reacts to a shove from Kong by shoving her right back. Kong blows her top and takes her head off with a clothesline. The fearsome sight of the Women's Champion drags her Smackdown counterpart back up and fires her into the corner, then runs in for a body avalanche. Beth steps out of the corner though and Kong crashes into the pads, and as she turns round Beth hammers with a double axe handle to the chest.
Kong teeters but stays on her feet as Beth turns back to run the ropes, and she comes bouncing back into a thunderous lariat. Kong is mega pissed and again drags Beth up, setting her up for the a sitout powerbomb, but cheers break out in the crowd, and we see
O.D.B. slide in the ring, running at Kong and hitting her with a shot to the side of the head. Kong lets go of Beth and O.D.B. unloads on her, putting Kong on one knee. O.D.B. turns into the ropes and comes storming back with a spear to send Kong down and she rolls to the apron and under the bottom rope as Beth sits up, shocked to see O.D.B. standing there. O.D.B. looks down at her, still tension between them as a furious Kong stands back up on the outside, grabs her title off the apron and stares furiously at Beth & O.D.B with tension still there between them.
Michael Cole: I wasn't expecting that Matt. O.D.B. an' Beth have been rivals for a while now. I can't believe she came to Beth's rescue t'night.
Matt Striker: We heard O.D.B. say last week she too had an axe t' grind with Kong as she felt it was Kong's fault she didn't become the Diva's Champion at No Way Out. It appears that we may well have a very unlikely alliance on our hands.
O.D.B. walks out from the back with her music playing to a mixed reaction from the Hartford crowd, but she couldn't give a crap about it as she makes her way down to the ring, not looking in the best of moods to say the least. As she steps inside she paces across the mat to get a microphone. As soon as she gets it her music comes to a halt.
O.D.B: I ain't here t' waste any time or mess around. All I gotta say is that this unification match is a load of crap. I should be Diva's Champion right now but I'm not 'cause of this crazy Kong bitch. Now I've been told I gotta sit back an' do nothin', just watch her an' the so called Diva's Champion battle it out. Well I don't take that crap. I'm here t'night t' call out that crazy bitch, an' she's gonna find out that payback's a bitch too.
She turns to look up at the stage.
O.D.B: What y'waiting for? Get that crazy fat ass o'yours out here so I can kick it all over this joint.
The eerie music of the
Women's Champion,
Queen Kong hits and she walks menacingly out into the arena, not that O.D.B. looks in the least bit intimidated, begging Kong to get down to the ring. The Women's Champion doesn't look intimidated either as she drops her title at the bottom of the ramp, and O.D.B. goes to meet her, sliding out of the ring. They exchange right hands and O.D.B. takes the fight to her, winning the brawl and she drives Kong's head into the security wall. She goes to do it again but Kong blocks it and drives O.D.B's head into the security wall this time. She then grabs O.D.B. by the arm and fires her into the opposite side. O.D.B. slumps down it and the behemoth drags her right back up, this time sending her crashing into the steel steps, and the top of them comes off, falling to the floor. Boos ring out from the crowd and some of the fans in the front row look stunned, worried also for O.D.B.
The Women's Champion stomps on her head and then turns her head to see the steps. She drags O.D.B. round and places her leg on the base of the steps she's resting on, now turns to pick up the steps that were knocked off. The fans' nerves can be heard clear as day as Kong shows off her strength by lifting the steps up and driving them down on to the lower leg of O.D.B. Gasps of horror come from the crowd as Kong drops the steps on the floor and looks down coldly with no regrets whatsoever as O.D.B. reaches to grab her ankle, screaming in agony. A group of officials rush down to check on her, and they quickly call for help as Kong just watches, not caring at all for what she's done when EMT's rush down to help O.D.B. Kong decides it's time to go, picking her title back up and heading back up the ramp to a chorus of boos as the EMT's help O.D.B. up, one holding her up at each side, helping her walk with O.D.B. unable to put any pressure on her right ankle. The fans cheer as she's helped to the back.
Jim Ross: Are we getting a glimpse of what's waiting for Beth Phoenix at Wrestlemania? Kong just took out O.D.B. She looks like she's more than ready for her unification match with The Glamazon.
The
Intercontinental Champion,
Sheamus is in his locker room, finishing taping up his wrists when the
United States Champion,
Dolph Ziggler walks in, all ready for action.
Dolph Ziggler: Hey, Sheamus. Look I know we're teaming t'night but you need t' know how much is at stake. I've got this rematch with Sydal Friday night. I can't afford for anything t' go wrong out there. I need t' put him in his place, make him understand he's not got a chance of getting the United States title back.
Sheamus: Y'know fella, I couldn't care less about your rematch or whoever the hell it's with. The only thing I care about t'night is getting my hands on Rey Mysterio. I'm gonna take care of him. You can do whatever you like. I don't care.
Dolph Ziggler: If that's the way you wan' it,
fine.
Dolph heads out of the room not happy, leaving Sheamus who's obviously preoccupied with his own problems to care about Ziggler's.
Rey Mysterio & Matt Sydal are shown separately walking through back with
Mickie James alongside her boyfriend, Sydal.
Jim Ross: Up next we'll see those two guys right there, Rey Mysterio an' Matt Sydal in tag team action against Sheamus an' Dolph Ziggler in a match you won't want t' miss.
*Commercial Break*
Footage from during the break is shown where
O.D.B. was helped into an ambulance in the back and taken off to a local medical facility.
*Video Recap*
From Last Week!
Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz
Rey back pedalled into the ropes and Miz walked right into a drop toe hold. Rey dialled up for the 619 with the crowd going nuts, and he hit it to a huge pop. Miz fell back and hit the deck as Rey steadied himself on the apron, then hit a springboard splash, coming down on The Miz for the pin, getting the three count and a good win. "Booyaka 619" hit to another big pop as Rey got his arm raised by the referee, but boos came from the crowd, fans standing up, and as Rey turned round, Sheamus, the Intercontinental Champion had slid in the ring. The Celtic Warrior burst at him going for the Brogue Kick but Rey ducked it and ran into the ropes to slide out of the ring to piss off the already livid Irishman. Rey backtracked up the ramp watching Sheamus glaring at him, but the Intercontinental Champion turned round and went after a microphone.
Sheamus: Hey, Mysterio. Y'might've got away dis time fella, but let me tell y'somethin', sooner or later I'm gonna get my hands on ya. I should be goin' t' Wrestlemania t' replicate The Ultimate Warrior's feat of walking out of Wrestlemania as both Intercontinental
and WWE Champion, but I'm not, because of you.
*Heat*
Sheamus: It's your fault Rey an' I'm gonna make y'pay. It's gonna be worse than de last time. Dis time you won't be comin' back.

Non-Title Match
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
Instead of going for the cover, Orton turned himself over and again prepared for the RKO, furiously banging the mat with his fists as Sheamus began to sit up, and seeing what was coming he rolled to the ropes and under the bottom rope. The fans booed like crazy as Sheamus turned his back on the match, surprising the hell out of Orton and the referee. Sheamus turned round looking at the ring, staring at Orton when a big pop broke out with Rey Mysterio running down the ramp to grab Sheamus by the tights & head to send him back in the ring. The fans were cheering again but Sheamus was pissed, staring down furiously at Rey who told him to turn around, and when he did, Orton hit the RKO to a massive cheer and made the cover to get the win. The crowd rose to their feet & cheered with Rey backing away smiling. The Viper didn't show much emption as he got his arm raised, staring into the stands defiant after two strong wins back-to-back on Raw with Sheamus sitting up looking up at Rey with a look of contempt.
*Match #4*
Rey Mysterio & Matt Sydal w/Mickie James
vs. Sheamus & Dolph Ziggler
Rey & Sydal came out firing and with the fans on their side, their opponents were quickly getting frustrated. Sheamus had every reason to be frustrated when he was on the end of a Bronco Buster from Mysterio, the man he'll defend his Intercontinental Championship against at Wrestlemania. The Mexican was on fire, showing no signs of being intimidated by The Celtic Warrior. The Irishman's frustration was getting the better of him and the fans were loving seeing Rey get him hot under the collar. The Master of the 619 came close to hitting the 619 early, but Sheamus managed to pull his head back, and as Rey stood up on the apron, the Irishman shoved him down on to the security wall. Rey crashed & burned, and Sheamus took the chance to take his frustration out on him. As the match went on, getting towards the close, Sheamus was again working over Mysterio, and his anger was rising to the surface when Rey got his shoulder up after an Irish Curse backbreaker. Sheamus was pissed and eventually backed up to the corner, stalking Rey for the Brogue Kick.
The fans were trying to warn Rey, as was Sydal, and when Sheamus burst across the mat, Rey ducked the boot and unloaded with stiff kicks to the chest. He put Sheamus down on one knee and turned to run the ropes. As he ran back, Sheamus stood up and tried for a backbreaker, but Rey countered with tilt-a-whirl headscissors that sent the Intercontinental Champion on to the second rope. The roof was almost blown off as Rey stood up and dialled up for the 619, and he hit it this time with Sheamus falling back to the mat. He steadied himself on the apron and watched as Sheamus dragged his way back up, but when Mysterio hit the springboard for the West Coast Pop, Sheamus countered with a thunderous powerbomb. He thought that was it, crossing his arms before making the cover, only to see Rey get his shoulder up again at two. The Irishman was livid and tagged in Ziggler, who stormed the ring and begged Rey to get up, and when he did, the United States Champion sent him right back down again with a leg drop bulldog.
It was only enough for two though, pissing Ziggler off who stood up to stalk Rey for the Zig Zag. Again the fans tried to warn Rey who clawed his way back up, oblivious to what was waiting for him. As soon as he was back up, Ziggler struck, but Rey slipped out of his grasp and Dolph fell to the mat. Rey then dived across to tag Sydal to a big pop, and the 2008 King of the Ring jumped straight up to the top rope, watching Ziggler pick himself back up. Dolph turned round and saw Sydal coming through the sky with a double knee takedown. The fans were cheering as Sydal then stood up with Dolph rushing back up, walking into a feint enzuigiri into a headscissors takedown, quickly followed up by a standing moonsault. Ziggler kicked out of a cover at two but Sydal didn't let it bother him. He stood up and dragged him the short distance to the corner before racing up to the top rope, getting the fans on their feet expecting the Shooting Star Press. Dolph though dived on to the ropes with desperation and Sydal fell from the top down to the mat, met by boos from the crowd.
The United States Champion fell too, still feeling the effects of the last minute or so. Sheamus though entered the ring, looking to get at Sydal, but Rey tried to cut him off. He ran at Sheamus, but right into a Celtic war sword. Rey fell to the mat and Sheamus held off the ref while Dolph & Sydal made their way back up. The Celtic Warrior then stormed across the mat for the Brogue Kick on Sydal, but Sydal ducked it and Ziggler walked right into it. Dolph fell to the mat to a huge pop, and as Sheamus turned round, still shocked, both Sydal & Rey ran at him and sent him over the top with a double dropkick. The fans were going crazy as Sydal then went back up to the top rope, cheered on by Mickie too with Dolph flat out below him, and this time he hit the Shooting Star Press and picked up the win for him & Mysterio. The fans loved it and cheered like mad as they got their arms raised by the referee. Mickie joined her boyfriend in the ring, hugging him before he & Rey hit the corners, posing for the fans as a furious Sheamus sat up on the outside staring right at Rey.
Winners: Rey Mysterio & Matt Sydal by pinfall.
Jim Ross: Matt Sydal picks up a huge vict'ry heading into Smackdown Friday night for his United States title rematch with Dolph Ziggler, and yet again, Rey Mysterio gets one over on Sheamus. You can see how much that grates on Sheamus too. He is not happy King.
'The Rated-R Superstar' Edge is shown walking through the back, on his way to the ring with a smug smile on his face.
Jim Ross: There's the man who's called out The Rock t'night. When we come back we'll find out if The Rock will take up Edge's challenge to a match at Wrestlemania. Whatever you do folks, don't go anywhere. Edge an' The People's Champ will be here live when we return.
*Commercial Break*
"Metalingus"
A ton of heat breaks out in the crowd as
Edge walks out into the arena in his casual clothes and long leather jacket, not at all bothered by the fans' boos. He walks on down to the ring and picks a microphone up off the steps on his way into the ring. He looks into the crowd, hearing more boos coming his way, even more as his music cuts, and now The Rated-R Superstar shows some anger at their reaction.
Edge: Y'know the last few days I've heard people talking all kinds of crap about how I didn't mean what I said the other night in coming here t'night t' challenge The Rock to a match at Wrestlemania. Some people have even said I don't have the guts t' do that. Well guess what people? You're wrong. I'm not scared of anything. I never have been. At No Way Out a few weeks ago I went into the first ever TLC match with my brother where you had to win by pinfall or submission only. This was about more than climbing a ladder. I had t' beat the crap out of Christian so bad with a steel chair t' beat him, an' I did. I proved him wrong and I proved all of you morons wrong too.
*Tons of Heat*
Edge: Oh wait 'cause that's not the first time. I went t' Wrestlemania three years ago an' I beat the soon t' be Hall of Famer Mick Foley in his own match. Nothing scares me. I've proved that time an' time again. I've proved that I can win ev'rything there is t' win. I've done it all, including the King of the Ring, something the so called great one hasn't. I'm a triple crown winner, I don't fear anything or anyone, let alone a jumped up movie star who just happens t' be the most overrated superstar ever t' step foot in this ring.
*More Boos*
Edge: The Rock never has been a great wrestler. All he is is a book of cheap jokes, catchphrases who even used his eyebrows t' try an' make out he was some kind of star when the reality is he's nothing more than a joke.
*More Heat*
Edge: The fact he's in the Hall of Fame is even more of a joke. I'm not hiding behind my words. I mean ev'rything I say. That's why I'm here t' back it up t'night by challenging The Rock to a match on the biggest stage of them all to expose him for the fraud that he is.
"You Suck"
Edge: I think I've proven in my time here that I mean what I say, an' at Wrestlemania if The Rock accepts my challenge I'll prove it again. The only problem is that he won't even be here. He wasn't here when I came out here as far as I'm aware. Now he's this big time movie star he's got the busy schedule to use as an excuse, so don't get excited about seeing him at Wrestlemania 'cause it's not gonna happ. . .
"IF Y'SMELL, WHAT THE ROCK, IS COOKIN. . ."
The Rock steps out on to the stage and the crowd erupts. It's deafening inside the arena as The Great One turns his head, looking into the stands, raising the people's eyebrow as Edge watches on unimpressed. The Great One turns to look down at the ring and heads on down there with Edge still watching him the whole way. The Rock steps inside and heads across the ring, brushing past the Canadian to climb up to the second rope, posing for the fans who continue to go nuts for the presence of The People's Champion. He steps down off the ropes and is handed a microphone through the ropes. His music is cut and chants of "Rocky" echo around the arena as both he & Edge look into the crowd to take it all in, and as they start to die down, The Rock turns his attention to Edge.
The Rock: So I hear you have a challenge for m. . . Apologies. . .
Fi-nally, THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO
HART-FORD.
*Huge Pop*
"ROCKY, ROCKY. . ."
The Rock: You hear that? The people are chanting The Rock's name, just as they were last week in my hometown of Miami when you, you sneaky son of a bitch decided t' cheap shot me with a microphone.
*Heat*
The Rock: That, that is the act of a coward. No matter what you say, that proved without a shadow of a doubt you don't have what all men have. That is a pair of testicles.
*Big Pop*
Edge doesn't like hearing that one bit.
The Rock: I don't want you t' get them out 'cause I think you get my point. There is however something else I need t' say that proves you are a coward. See The Rock heard you say just before I came out here that I have a busy schedule, and being a movie star you're absolutely right. The Rock does indeed have a crazy ass schedule, but admit it. You thought that would mean I couldn't turn up t' Wrestlemania an' kick your ass.
*Pop*
The Rock: I've got to admit myself, that was smart on your part t' cover your ass, but even though I have a crazy schedule, here I am t'night. There's also something else I heard last week. The people were chanting something over an' over, an' it went like this. . . ONE MORE MATCH, ONE MORE MATCH. . .
"ONE MORE MATCH, ONE MORE MATCH. . ."
The Rock: That's exactly what I heard, and even before I heard about this challenge, I thought about what they said. I thought about what it'd be like t' have one more match at Wrestlemania, not just any old Wrestlemania, but the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania in London England at a sold-out Wembley Stadium. Even Lady Gaga is gonna be there, but what you an' your humongous chin f'got was, even though I have this mad schedule, I'd already agreed t' be in London to induct my good friend Mick Foley into the Hall of Fame.
*Pop*
The Rock: Hell, even if I wasn't I'd happily take the time out to be at this
huge event to compete in a match against a punk ass jabroni with no testicles like you, so yes The People's Champion accepts your challenge.
*Massive Roar*
"ROCKY, ROCKY. . ."
Edge looks genuinely surprised, not sure how to react.
The Rock: One thing I want you t' know is that I know exactly what I'm getting into before you bore us all again with what you've accomplished. I'm a movie star. I do a lot of research, just as I did agreeing to this match with you. What I did was I asked some people in the back what I'd be getting into, what The Rated-R Transvestite is all about.
That gets Edge hot under the collar too, clearly fuming inside.
Edge: I'm not a transvestite.
The Rock: Easy easy, I've not got a problem with that if that's your thing, and how dare you interrupt The Great One.What I was going t' say before I was rudely interrupted was that of all the things people told me, one thing stood out. It was something I heard a few years ago but I f'got who it was, but I heard about how much of a two faced son of a bitch you are when you stabbed your best friend in the back t' cheat with his girlfriend.
*Major Heat*
Edge: That again? That's old news. No one even cares about that anymore.
The Rock: Oh I don't think so and it proves exactly who you are. I could f'give you for being a transvestite and having that huge ass chin, but stabbing your best friend in the back? Y'know what that does? It makes me even more determined t' kick your ass at Wrestlemania.
*Pop*
The Rock: Now you can call me overrated all you want but the fact is I've won many many titles in my time here too. Not just that but I've beaten some of the best in the history of this business on the biggest stage in the business unlike you. This year will be no diff'rent I promise you. You might have this triple crown, triple chin or whatever you call it. Quite frankly who give's a rat's ass? Because at Wrestlemania in front of the millions. . .
"AND MILLIONS. . ."
The Rock: . . . of The Rock's fans, The People's Champ is going t' kick your candy ass all over Wembley Stadium, IF Y'SMELL ALALALALAUU, WHAT THE ROCK
IS COOKIN!!
The Rock drops the microphone, grabs Edge and plants him with The Rock Bottom to an almighty pop. The fans love it, and as The Rock's music plays again, he heads back over to the corner and climbs on to the second rope, throwing his right arm up in the air. The fans eat it up as he poses there defiantly with Edge flat on his back. He steps down and heads over to the opposite corner, doing the same with the fans still cheering like crazy, all bringing a big smile to the face of The Rock.
Jim Ross: It's official folks. In five weeks at Wrestlemania, we will see the return to the ring of The Great One when he meets The Rated-R Superstar. What a match that is going t' be.
The Big Show is shown making his way through back on to the ring, dressed for action.
Jim Ross: 'The World's Largest Athlete' The Big Show will be in action in just a few moments after this quick commercial break.
*Commercial Break*
>34 Days!<
*Match #5*
The Big Show vs. Chris Masters
The Masterpiece didn't look too confident at all from the moment The Big Show emerged from the back. The World's Largest Athlete was dominant too, tossing Masters around almost immediately. The Masterpiece was suffering after a sidewalk slam and a leg drop but managed to kick out. He was in a really bad way after being thrown into the turnbuckle pads in a reverse thrown powerbomb. Show watched him get back up back, and the giant was as calm as hell. As soon as Masters was back up, he turned away from the corner, walking right into the path of The Big Show who nailed him with the WMD. Masters fell flat on his back and Show dropped to his knees to make the inevitable count, picking up the victory in quick time. "Crank It Up" hit as he stood up, having barely broken a sweat. He got his arm raised and walked over to the apron, defiantly throwing his huge right hand up into the air looking more of a menacing sight than ever before.
Winner: The Big Show by pinfall.
Jim Ross: I think we might just've seen Mr Money in the Bank right there King. Who on earth is going t' stop him?
Jerry Lawler: I haven't got a clue. I'm a betting man as you know JR. My money's on that man right there, The Big Show.
John Cena & Triple H are shown on a split screen, both looking ready for action with The King of Kings the more serious of the two.
Jim Ross: It's time for our last commercial break of the evening, but when we come back it'll be John Cena going one-on-one with Triple H. Don't you even think about going anywhere. We'll be back before you know it.
*Commercial Break*
"Behold the King, the King of Kings. . ."
Triple H enters the arena to a barrage of heat from the Hartford crowd. He stops at the top of the stage and looks into the crowd, pouring water over his head before setting off down to the ring. He walks round the floor and climbs on to the apron, taking a gulp of water, then throws his arms back before spraying the water into the front row. Looking incredibly fired-up he steps inside the ring and walks across to Lilian Garcia to take her microphone. His music stops and the boos continue being thrown in his direction, but he's already pissed as it is.
Triple H: Last week Shawn Michaels stood in this ring and said he was ready for a battle, but I proved he's not. I proved I am ready and that I'm capable of not just taking his title but ending his career.
*Major Heat*
Triple H: Right now while I stand in here in this ring, he's resting up at home. He can sit there watching as I beat John Cena like I'll beat him at Wrestlemania and take back
my WWE title.
*More Boos*
"My Time Is Now"
The crowd erupts with a largely positive reaction for
John Cena as he bursts out on to the stage. He stops & salutes the crowd with an angry Triple H looking at him as Cena sets off at speed down to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and standing up to pose for the crowd, again getting some boos as well as the cheers. He pulls off his T-shirt and throws it into the crowd with The King of Kings watching his opponent's every move. Cena turns and looks at him, letting him know he too is up for the fight.
*The Main Event*
John Cena vs. Triple H
We were in for a fiercely competitive main event with both Cena & The King of Kings going all out to get the win. They were both treating it like it was Wrestlemania, and almost the entire crowd were behind Cena with some boos in there. Cena as usual shrugged off the boos like they weren't even there. He was quickly getting into control going into the closing stages having countered a Pedigree attempt with a back body drop and followed it up with a flying shoulder block and a spin-out powerbomb. It was five knuckle shuffle time and he hit it to a huge reaction. Trips kicked out at two and Cena wasted no time in hitting the corner, climbing up to the top rope as Trips pulled himself back up. Cena watched him all the way and jumped off the top, connecting with a diving leg drop bulldog. The Game kicked out again but the momentum was running through Cena's body as he stood up, watching his opponent drag himself back up. As soon as Trips got to his knees, Cena gave him a helping hand, lifting him on to his shoulders for the F-U! Trips fought his way down though and fired Cena into the ropes, but ducked his head. As Cena then ran back he kicked Trips square in the head, sending him round in a spin.
Cena then stomped him in the gut and drilled his head into the mat with a snap single arm DDT. The fans were cheering again, but Trips lifted his shoulder up just as the ref was about to count to three. Cena didn't look too disappointed and acted quickly, turning The King of Kings over on to his front before locking in the STFU to a huge pop. Triple H had no time to counter it and had to fight like mad to hold on with the crowd cheering, some chanting for him to tap out. Cena did all he could to make that happen, wrenching away at Trips' face. The Game was struggling, just managing to keep his hand off the mat and tap, but he fought it and started to drag himself across the mat slowly, trying like mad to get to the ropes. Cena held firm though and kept the hold locked in as he got closer to the ropes, and then got there, desperately reaching out to grab the bottom rope to a ton of heat. Cena had to let the hold go to heat from the crowd, and as soon as Trips climbed his way back up using the ropes, Cena was on him. He lifted him up for the F-U but Trips held on to the top rope, then drove his elbow repeatedly into Cena's head. Cena let him go and staggered away with Trips following him out, taking him down with a falling neckbreaker.
He stood back up and stepped back into the ropes, then dropped a jumping knee on him. They both picked themselves back up and The King of Kings locked him up in a sleeper. He locked it in tight and Cena started to fade fast. The fans were nervous and Cena dropped to one knee when they started to encourage him, chanting his name. The ref grabbed his arm, and it dropped twice, leaving the fans even more nervous when he let it go the third time. This time though, Cena responded, holding it up before standing up and powering out of it, fighting free with elbows to the gut. He turned to run the ropes but Triple H caught him as he came back with a high knee strike, and as Cena stood back up he turned into a spinning spinebuster. Trips went for a cover but Cena got his shoulder up at two to the relief of the fans, but Triple H wasn't happy. He stood back up and stared down furiously at Cena as he clawed his way back up. Trips pulled him upvfrom his knees into place for the Pedigree, but Cena reacted quickly, sweeping Trips' legs and holding on to them. He turned slightly and catapulted The King of Kings into the turnbuckle pads.
Trips hit them face first, and as he staggered back round, Cena turned too, lifted him up off the mat and planted him with the F-U to another massive roar inside the XL Center when the lights went out. The roar got even louder as the tron started to flicker. Cena stood up confused looking at it as a video collage of The Undertaker hitting the tombstone on all his Wrestlemania victims with a number, all the way from 1-16 accompanying them, before the tombstone to Cena at No Way Out ended it with 17-0 flashing across the tron. The video ended in a flash and the lights came back on with Cena turning to look at the crowd to get their reaction by the looks of it, not appearing to be too worried by it. He was unaware though of Triple H getting back up behind him, and when he turned round with a smile on his face, he was stomped in the gut and Trips drilled him with the Pedigree. He went straight for the cover and got the three to a ton of heat. He got his arm raised by the referee to "King of Kings" with a look of immense intensity, not showing any satisfaction whatsoever. He then hit the corner, climbing up to the second rope, throwing both arms up in the air and back as Cena sat up shaking his head, clearly not impressed he let The Undertaker's video distract him.
He shook his head all the way back up the ramp as Trips stared into the crowd, letting them know exactly what he thought of them when "Sexy Boy" blasted out to a huge roar from the crowd. The fans went crazy as the WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels stepped out from the back with a face like fury. Triple H stepped off the top rope, shocked to see The Heartbreak Kid there glaring down at him. Michaels then stomped down the ramp and slid in the ring, walking right towards The King of Kings as they squared up, tension about to boil over, and it did with Michaels unloading on him with some hard right hands. He sent Trips back into the ropes and went for an Irish whip. The Game reversed it though and walked out to meet Michaels who came back with a flying forearm smash. The fans went crazy, and as both men made their way back up Michaels backed up, tuning up the band to take Trips' head off with the Super Kick. He exploded out of the corner but Trips ducked it and fled to safety under the bottom rope to a ton of heat. Michaels turned round, absolutely furious as The Game backtracked from the ring, and the WWE Champion turned round again, walking over to the apron to call for a microphone. He walked back over to the other side, looking right back up at an also furious Triple H.
Winner: Triple H by pinfall.
Shawn Michaels: As of right now Hun'er, this isn't just a battle, it's all out war my friend.
*Pop*
Shawn Michaels: You wanna end my career so bad? I got it, but you better be ready 'cause I'll happily sacrifice it to end yours too.
*More Cheers*
Shawn Michaels: At Wrestlemania, if I'm going down, I'm taking you with me Jack.
Michaels tosses the microphone down and picks his title up, lifting it on to his shoulder as he looks up at a very intense Triple H, exchanging serious looks.
Jim Ross: This really is war right now. I dread t' think what's going t' happen at Wrestlemania when these two collide. It could be a fight t' the death. That's all for t'night though folks. We'll see you next week live from Calgary. Until then, take care ev'ryone.
