*Video Recap*
From Last Week!

Stephanie steps inside the ring and picks a microphone up off the apron as she enters, walking into the centre of the ring and briefly looking up at the Wrestlemania sign hanging above the ring. Her music stops, bringing out a mixed reaction for the Executive Vice-President.

Stephanie McMahon:
I'm sure you all know by now if you didn't already having just seen the footage that right here t'night, CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena.

*Big Pop*

Stephanie McMahon: It's not of'en we have the world title defended on Smackdown but it will be t'night, however I'm not out here right now to talk about t'night's main event. I'm out here t' talk about what's led to it. Again the footage from the Royal Rumble was very clear. The purpose of that match was to determine an undisputed World Champion, the words of the man who made the match, the General Manager of Smackdown, Tazz.

*Mixed*

Stephanie McMahon: Instead of me speculating or commenting on his actions Sunday night, I'm going to invite him down here so he can explain for himself. So with that said, Tazz will you please make your way down here, now?

Stephanie pulls the microphone away from her mouth and looks up at the stage, waiting for Tazz.

"13"

She doesn't have to wait long as Tazz walks out to the stage to a mixed response, stopping at the top of the stage to look into the crowd before walking down the ramp to the ring looking very serious indeed. He enters the ring and walks right past Steph to get a microphone. His music cuts and he turns back to face Stephanie, not looking too happy with the situation he finds himself in.

Tazz:
Not wastin' any time huh? Cool with me. . . It's real simple Steph. Like these people I was sat back watchin' the match when that punk from Raw jumped in the ring an' on top o'Cena. I went down there t' get him out of there an' let Cena an' Punk fight it out as planned f' the world title. Then yeah it got a bit messy. Punk started doing what he does his best in mouthing off an' I snapped. I shouldn't have but I did. It happens, but I think anyone can see that I didn't mean t' hit Cena. Yeah it cost 'im the match but it was an accident an' I know you know that, an' I know John does too. I realised what I'd done an' got the hell out of there before it got more out o'control, but it needs t' be said before y'play the blame game Steph, I ain't happy about it either believe me. That's not the way I wan'ed this t' play out. I sure as hell didn't wanna get involved an' be a part of it. Unfortunately I was an' I apologise f' that but I went down there t' do the right thing. . .

Stephanie McMahon: . . . That might be the case but that doesn't explain why you put your hands on me. Like you I was going t' make things right, but yet again we find ourselves in this situation. . .

Tazz: . . . Whoa whoa whoa, let me stop y'there Steph. We. . . You're a hypocrite. You're the reason we're in this mess. It's your fault we had t' have this match at the Rumble in the first place. You were the one who screwed Punk out o'the title at Night of Champions. The diff'rence between me an' you again Steph was I wan'ed t' do the right thing. You, you wan'ed t' do the right thing f' you. It doesn't matter how many people 'ave said it over the last month, you just don't listen. All this between Cena an' Punk, the world title, it's all on you, no one else. If it wasn't f' you we wouldn't even 'ave needed t' have that match Sunday an' I resent you questioning my actions.

Stephanie McMahon: I'm sorry t' hear that. Unfortunately, seeing how you work f' me an' my family, you answer directly to us. After the events of Sunday night, I have to ask these questions. . .

Tazz: Yeah maybe y'do but given your role in all this, you're the last person who should be askin' the questions. It was pretty clear on Raw Monday night that you were gonna come out here an' try an' put all the blame on me f' what happened, f' Punk gettin' the title you clearly don't want him t' have. I was sat at home with my family an' both my wife an' my kids asked me if I was gonna be fired. I might be wrong but I'm sure as hell you're lookin' f' a scapegoat. . .

Stephanie McMahon: . . . Let me stop you right there. You've had your say, now I'll have my mine. Like Punk, my ex-husband an' ev'ryone else, you answer t' me. I'm the one who has t' make these difficult decisions, but when you put your hands on me you made this decision really easy. Tazz. . .

Tazz: . . . Oh no you don't. I was gonna say somethin' before you in'errupted me, an' I'm sure as hell not having you fire me. My mind was made up Monday night. Steph, I quit.

The crowd's split, some cheering and some booing as Tazz stares right at Steph.

Tazz:
I sure as hell didn't wanna do this, an' until you started throwin' y'weight around I loved this job. I love this business but you've killed it f' me an' the way you're goin' you're gonna ruin it f' a whole lot more people who love it like I do. I'm tellin' you this f' your own sake before you kill this show. Take a long hard look in the mirror, 'cause if you carry on the way you are, I don't know when but you'll end up very very sorry.

[color="Blue"]The now former General Manager slams the microphone down and walks past Steph, leaving her with something to think about as he loosens his tie and unbuttons his cuffs. Steph watches him leave, not looking so happy now having been somewhat put in her place.

***

Tazz is shown walking through the back, dragging his jacket over his shoulder with the weight of the world lifted off him, but suddenly he stops, looking a tad surprised. The camera zooms out and there stands the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. There's some slight tension but both look fairly relaxed, Punk (in his ring gear and a trademark T-shirt) especially with the world title draped proudly over his shoulder again.

CM Punk:
I. . . I don't think I thought I'd ever say this, but what you just said out there, I respect you telling her like it is. An' f' what it's worth you did the right thing Sunday holding her back like y'did. She needs t' be put her in place. Whether you've done that or not t'night I guess we'll see.

Tazz: Well it's out o'my hands now.

CM Punk: Maybe so, but if she keeps tryin' t' screw me over, it's not out of mine.

You can tell Punk means it and he taps Tazz on the shoulder as he walks past him, leaving the former GM there to ponder his thoughts.

World Heavyweight Championship
(If Stephanie McMahon directly interferes, CM Punk retains the title)
John Cena vs. CM Punk (c)

Stephanie McMahon was indeed on hand, sitting on a fold-out chair at ringside, making Punk very uneasy throughout. He had enough of a battle on his hands in the ring with Cena hell bent on getting the world title back. He looked as though he was about to when after giving Stephanie a warning, Punk casually went to help him up, but Cena caught him off guard and swept his legs from under him before locking in the STFU. The torn crowd made a racket, both cheering & booing Cena as he ripped desperately at Punk's face, trying to make him tap out. Stephanie stood up on the outside and watched closely as Punk held on, lifting his right arm up with the ref asking him whether he wanted to quit.

He didn't though and fought his way to the ropes to a largely positive reaction from the crowd. Stephanie wasn't best pleased and sat back down. Cena shook off the initial obvious disappointment and watched Punk claw his way up by the ropes, and as the World Champion walked out to him, he lifted Punk up for the F-U. The fans booed again but Punk somehow managed to land on his feet, surprising Cena. Punk turned round and ducked a clothesline before nailing him with a roundhouse kick. Cena fell back, flat on the mat with Punk dropping to the canvas to make a cover, hooking one leg, only Cena managed to get his other foot on the rope to stop the count.

Punk was gutted but he felt the end was near and got ready for the GTS, stalking Cena as he dragged his way back up using the ropes with Stephanie watching nervously. Cena looked groggy and staggered out into Punk's path and the GTS, and Punk hit it, smirking like mad at Steph before confidently dropping to his knees to make the count, but Cena shocked everyone by getting his shoulder up at two. Punk leant back and couldn't believe it, neither could the fans or the relieved Stephanie, and she was the one smirking at Punk this time. He was furious and stood back up, dragging Cena with him for another GTS. Cena offered no resistance and looked out of it until he caught everyone by surprise again, this time countering by grabbing Punk's knee after being dropped for the GTS to lock in the STFU instead.

It was deafening in the arena as Punk screamed out in pain, clinging on to his title with Stephanie again jumping up from her seat. She walked right over to the apron, staring right at Punk as he fought for his title when a ton of heat broke out in the stands. Homicide walked out from the back, heading down the ramp, catching Steph's attention. She stormed round to the ramp and stood in his way, yelling at him to get back, and the ref saw him too and joined Steph on the outside to try & get Homicide away from the ring. Cena was puzzled and looked round to see what was going on. He broke the hold and stood up, walking over to the apron, inviting Homicide in with Punk writhing around on the mat.

Homicide looked up at Cena, standing firm as Punk slowly made his way back up to his knees. The ref & Stephanie managed to force him back slightly, and as Cena then turned round and walked over to Punk, he pulled him up to his knees, getting a low blow from the World Champion. That got a mixed reaction and Punk jumped up, lifted Cena onto his shoulders and hit the GTS for a second time. Homicide pointed at the ref to turn around, and he did, running back into the ring as Punk made the cover, getting the three to retain his title to another mixed reaction. "This Fire Burns" hit and Homicide smirked at Stephanie who shook her head, holding her head in her hands.

Punk sat up with a smug look on his face, looking right at Stephanie who stomped back towards the ring. She got in the ring and grabbed the world title from him, confusing Punk slightly. The ref left the ring and Punk walked towards Stephanie, telling her to give him the title. Clearly she didn't want to but he grabbed it from her and was screaming at her eventually to raise her hand. She wouldn't though and turned to walk away when Punk grabbed her hand. She turned back and slapped him, infuriating Punk, so much so he dropped his title and lifted Steph up onto his shoulders for the GTS. The fans were stunned as Steph tried to wriggle free, but she couldn't and Punk dropped her head onto his knee to another deafening mixed response from the crowd.

He then lifted his title back up off the mat and looked down without a shred of the remorse as the referee along with several officials including Arn Anderson & Dean Malenko ran down to check on her, quickly calling for help as Punk left the ring to join Homicide. They watched as Cena too then checked on her with EMT's rushing down to attend to Stephanie who lay there flat on her back. Cena stood up and stared up at Punk with disgust as he simply lifted his title up into the air as Smackdown came to a close with Stephanie flat out on her back on the mat surrounded by officials & EMT's.

"This Fire Burns"

The World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk walks out to the stage without a care in the world, joined by Homicide who stands alongside him.

Michael Cole:
We're not messing around t'night by the looks of it. Here comes the man who last week put his hands on Stephanie McMahon when he put her t' sleep, an' clearly he's not concerned about having t' face the consequences of his actions.

Matt Striker: Well with Tazz gone too, I'm sure Punk believes there is no one to answer to despite what we heard earlier this week on WWE dot com.

Michael Cole: F' anybody who hasn't seen that, a statement was released on behalf of the board of directors saying that there will be a representative on hand t'night to address what happened at the end of last week's show, but obviously our World Heavyweight Champion isn't exactly worried about any action that could be about t' come his way.

The World Champion stops & looks into the crowd with a big smile on his face, getting a ton of heat as well as some cheers from the fans. He looks down at the ring and heads down there in his street clothes, followed by Homicide to see a steel cage hovering above it, slightly confused by it as he enters the ring and picks a microphone up off the apron. Punk walks into the centre of the ring and takes another look up at the cage before smirking at the fans again with Homicide also looking up at the cage as the music cuts and brings out the boos even more.

CM Punk:
So I hear t'night my actions from last week are going t' be dealt with by some representative of the board of directors, an' ever since I put Steph t' sleep last week I've been told how I should explain my actions. Well I'm sorry to disappoint you but the fact of the matter is I don't have to explain my actions to anyone, an' if those people can't' figure it out f' themselves then that's their problem, not mine.

*Mixed*

CM Punk: What I do feel the need to explain however is why this person you see here is standing next t' me. You all know him as just another superstar from Raw but he's a lot more than that. What you do know is he's from Brooklyn, he goes by the name 'Homicide' and he's one tough son of a bitch. What you don't know however is he's a lot like me. He might not speak his mind like I do but his actions speak louder than his words as he proved at the Royal Rumble. Ev'rything I stand for, he stands for. Just like me he worked his ass off t' get where he is t'day, wrestling all over the world gaining a reputation as one of the best in the business outside this company. The reality is he's better than most in this company, but when he was brought here an' up to Raw he was given the title of a rookie t' J-T-G. Please, that was a huge insult t' this man's talent. Like he does though, he got on with business an' showed what he can do. He's had win after win on Raw but he's not taken seriously 'cause this company didn't make him the athlete he is. We go a long way back an' even though we're on diff'rent shows working diff'rent cities ev'ry night, we still talk a lot. We talked about what was going on here with Stephanie an' John Cena, what was going on with him on Raw an' we said what a joke this company is.

*Heat*

CM Punk: Trust me on this, we've worked f' way smaller companies across the globe who have more understanding of this business in their little fingers than the people who run this company. When we got t' talkin' about the Royal Rumble an' my match with Cena, it's not like this guy but he went off. He told me what total b-s it was what Stephanie was doing an' we agreed that something had t' be done. See we care about this business an' its integrity more than she does. All she an' her family care about is the money you people throw at them. What gets lost in that is that superstars like John Cena f' example who have less talent than the likes of Homicide an' myself are pushed down the throats of real fans an' ahead of actual wrestlers, guys like us, like Chavo Guerrero, Charlie Haas an' Bryan Danielson who's finally been given a shot here. It's time all that crap changed, so at the Rumble when Stephanie's agenda t' have Cena walk out World Heavyweight Champion again, we made sure that didn't happen. The whole world knows that I should still've been World Champion an' that the reason I wasn't was Stephanie. As long as she was around she was going t' kill the integrity of this business, what we stand for. We weren't going t' let that happen, not just f' us but the people like us who deserve a shot. This business isn't about choosing your World Champion, it's about fighting t' be World Champion, which I was until I was screwed out of the title at Night of Champions. She was going t' screw me at the Rumble too so all we did was ensure that didn't happen. What happened last week wasn't planned, it's just what happened when she got in my face. Ultimately though this is what I've been waiting for. Stephanie an' Tazz are out of the way, even after he saw sense at last but all that matters right now is I am the undisputed World Heavyweight CHAMP-ION.

*Major Heat*

There are some cheers too for Punk as he lifts his title briefly up into the air.

CM Punk:
Finally we're back t' where we were before Stephanie stuck her nose where it didn't belong. She's not here now t' stop me going on t' Wrestlemania as the World Champion where I deserve t' be the main event. It might not've come about in the best way but Stephanie's always stood f' sexual equality. It was her f-y-i that tried t' slap me last week. She tried t' put her hands on me so I intr'duced her face t' my knee. Like I said, not ideal but it is what it is. She's gone an' she's not stopping me anymore. The same goes f' Tazz. In fact, no one will stop me. . . no one. . .

"No chance, that's what you've got. . ."

A huge roar breaks out in the arena and even Punk looks stunned as he & Homicide turn and look up at the stage to see Mr. McMahon walk out with the crowd going nuts. The Chairman of the Board stops at the top of the stage and stares down intently at Punk, causing some unease for the World Champion. Vince turns and looks into the shell-shocked crowd before heading down the ramp with purpose as Punk & Homicide look on, and after stomping his way up the steps, he walks right past them, giving them a filthy look in the process. He collects a microphone and his music cuts, bringing out a huge amount of cheers from all sides of the arena. He turns to look into the crowd and turns back to Punk, glaring right at Punk, who starts to enjoy the situation.

CM Punk:
Well look who we have here. I f' one can't help but say I'm surprised t' see you he. . .

Mr. McMahon: . . . Punk, SHUT UP.

*Huge Pop*

Mr. McMahon: You've run your mouth f' way too long. Now you're going t' listen t' what I have t' say.

*More Cheers*

Mr. McMahon: I'll get t' you in a minute but first I must address why I'm here t'night. You alluded to it y'self Punk, an' I'm sure you're not the only one surprised t' see me. See the last time you all saw me was a few months ago, the night after Survivor Series where I said I would be taking some time away from the business after what was honestly one of the most difficult years of my life. I took the time out t' think about what was important in my life both personally and professionally, an' in that time I've realised that is my family, not just my sons but my entire family. That includes my wife Linda, my grandchildren and of course my daughter Stephanie.

*Mixed*

Mr. McMahon: So as you can imagine, that's why I'm here t'night, because of what happened at the end of the show last week, and even though I've taken some time away from the business day t' day, it doesn't mean I've not been watching. It's still my company, the company you've run down f' months now, the company that signs your pay cheque may I add so I still have a vested int'rest in what happens here. Fast forwarding t' last week I saw you, the World Heavyweight Champion put your hands on not just your boss and a woman but my daughter, an' Punk, no one puts their hands on my baby girl.

CM Punk: With all due respect Vince, sorry sir, not that I actually have much left for you anyway, I don't think there's anyone in the locker room who hasn't had their hands on Stephanie, but unlike ev'ryone else, she screwed me more than once.

*Gasps*

Vince looks disgusted, staring right at a smug Punk with the very serious Homicide stood next to him.

Mr. McMahon:
You have absolutely no respect do you? Do you even realise who you're talking to?

CM Punk: Oh I absolutely know who I'm talking to. The question is do you realise who you're talking to? Not only am I the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, I'm the man who's trying to save the integrity of this business. See, your so called innocent daughter is the one who's brought that even more in to question when she screwed me out of the world title at Night of Champions. Not only was she wrong t' do that, your hand picked poster boy agreed with me, the big bad wolf. The problem is Vince she didn't stop there. She screwed me again an' again. She would've done at the Rumble too had I not taken out insurance, an' as a business man y'self I'm sure you understand that. What I do question is whether like your daughter, you understand why she was wrong t' do what she did. See all I ever did was tell the truth. I understand that may have been too close t' the bone but it doesn't change the fact what I said was true, yet I was the one perceived t' be casting the company in a bad light, an' f' that she did all she could t' take the world title from me. Regardless of what I said, the hypocrisy of it all stinks, after all you've done through the years like pulling things out of JR's ass. Yeah, the fact is I've got the guts t' call you out on it yet I'm the one made out t' be in the wrong which is quite frankly ridiculous. If Stephanie had stayed backstage none of this would've happened. Surely you can see that. Take a look at what happened last week. The General Manager quit because she was obsessed an' was ruining this show single handed. Even Cena agrees Vince. That says it all don't y'think? Cena, Cena agrees f' god sake. They both agreed she should be put in her place, an' since you or anyone else on the board didn't, I did f' the sake of this business an' your company. I'm not sorry I did it but I'm sorry I had to.

*Heat*

CM Punk: Don't get me wrong. I didn't wanna do that I assure you. I've never put my hands on a woman in that way my entire life but I was left with no choice. I had t' do it, an' d'you have any idea how many people backstage have thanked me f' that? As sorry as I'm sure you want me t' be, I'm not, an' if I have t' do it again I would, in a heartbeat. She made my life hell an' there's no way I was letting her stop me going t' Wrestlemania as World Heavyweight Champion like she knew I should.

Mr. McMahon: Well Punk if you think Stephanie made your life a living hell then you're in f' one hell of a shock.

*Big Pop*

Mr. McMahon: She's a pussycat compared t' me, an' as f' going t' Wrestlemania as the World Heavyweight Champion, I wouldn't be so sure.

Punk looks confused.

Mr. McMahon:
See Punk there's still a big question as to whether you deserve that title. I don't disagree that Stephanie got involved in your match with John Cena at Night of Champions, but in all three of your matches against Cena where the title's been on the line, we've not seen a deserving winner yet. That's why in just over a week's time at No Way Out in Las Vegas Nevada, it will be CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Championship one more time against John CENA.

*Huge Pop*

Punk is seething.

Mr. McMahon:
Oh that's not all, believe me. Not only will you defend the title against Cena, t' make sure we get a deserving winner, that match will take place inside a fifteen foot high steel cage.

*More Cheers*

CM Punk: Wait just a second Vince, I faced Cena last week f' the last time. It was Stephanie who said that. It's the only thing she's done right round here.

Mr. McMahon: Well thanks t' you Stephanie's not here is she? It's because of what happened last week in that match that you will face Cena again. If you have a problem with that Punk you can always forfeit the title, however it's not just you that I need t' speak to. I came down here t' speak to that friend of yours standing next t' you. Now I'm sure you've both noticed that the same steel cage you'll defend your title in next weekend is looming above us as we speak. The reason it's here t'night is that later on our main event will take place in that very cage.

*Big Pop*

Both Punk & Homicide look very confused.

Mr. McMahon:
As much as I'm sure Cena would like t' get his hands on you t'night Punk, he'll have t' wait 'til next Sunday at No Way Out. He will however be in the main event t'night against the man who may well have cost him the world title at the Royal Rumble. . . Homicide.

The crowd cheer again as Punk shakes his head furiously with Homicide not exactly looking at all bothered.

Mr. McMahon:
After what's happened the last couple of weeks I think Cena might not be in the best of moods t'night, an' just so we're all clear, if you so much as step one foot inside or put one hand on that cage Punk I will strip you of the title right on the spot.

*More Cheers*

Mr. McMahon: I'll be watching very closely but Homicide, I wish you look t'night. I've got a feeling you're gonna need it.

"No Chance in Hell" plays again with the fans cheering as Vince drops the microphone, staring right at a livid Punk with Homicide still not looking fazed by the prospect of facing Cena. Mr. McMahon turns round and leaves the ring, heading back up the ramp with Punk still pissed in the ring.

Michael Cole:
What an incredible start t' the show t'night. Who would've thought we'd see Mr. McMahon? I'm in shock Matt, maybe not as much as Punk, but there's no doubt that things are sure as hell going t' change around here, an' maybe not f' the better as far as our World Heavyweight Champion is concerned.

Matt Striker: You're absolutely right and it looks like CM Punk knows exactly that.

*Commercial Break*

Mr. McMahon
is walking back from the ring, acknowledging referees & agents and Beth Phoenix, the Diva's Champion walks towards him looking like she's got something on her mind.

Beth Phoenix:
Mr McMahon, am I glad t' see you?

Mr. McMahon: How can I help you Beth?

Beth Phoenix: Well I'm not sure if you know what's been going on with that crazy ODB or whatever she calls herself but. . .

Mr. McMahon: . . . Beth, I've seen, an' yeah she's not right is she?. . . Anyway, yes it appears like things between the two of you have got out of hand, so much so I think that it would be a great idea that you go one-on-one at No Way Out next weekend f' the diva's title. What y'think of that?

Beth Phoenix: Mr McMahon, I think that's a great idea. Thank you.

Mr. McMahon: You're welcome.

Vince steps to the side and carries on up the hall and walks into his office, and there waiting for him is John Cena. Cena stands up from the sofa and Vince lets the door shot behind him.

John Cena:
You wan'ed t' see me Vince?

Mr. McMahon: I did.

John Cena: Look I think we. . .

Mr. McMahon: . . . John wait I think it's best I spoke first. Basically I called you here because I wanted to let you know that after ev'rything that's happened, the last thing I want t' do is hand you anything on a plate. I saw all the things Punk said. I saw what Stephanie did an' there's no question that she was in the wrong t' do what she did, getting involved the way she did. Don't get me wrong John, I came here t'night t' deal with CM Punk. That's my part done. I'll be here t' run the show f' as long as I need t' be here, but that match I just made between you an' Punk f' No Way Out, f' t'night with Homicide, that was all about dealing with what happened at the Royal Rumble an' last week. Like I told Punk out there, ev'ry time you two get in the ring f' the title, it's never ended in a clean manner. We need t' find out who truly deserves t' be the World Heavyweight Champion. Homicide cost you that chance at the Rumble an' played his part last week too. This isn't part of an agenda t' get the world title from Punk or on you. That's why I called you here so you know that. I know how uncomfortable you are with the whole situation and I just wan'ed to assure you that things will be diff'rent from now on.

John Cena: Well thanks Vince I appreciate you saying that, but just so you know, if anything else happens like it did before, I've got no problem whatsoever walking out of this joint. I'm not here f' that. I'm here f' what, an' I can't believe I'm sayin' this. Like Punk I'm here t' fight, t' prove t' myself, t' the fans that I deserve that title, not t' have it handed to me on a plate.

Mr. McMahon: I assure you that won't happen. You have my word. All I'm here t' do is make ev'rything right, starting with your cage match t'night.

John Cena: Alright I'm down with that but we're both clear right?

Mr. McMahon: Absolutely.

John Cena: Great, then I guess I'll see y'round boss.

Mr. McMahon: You can count on it.

Cena smirks and walks past Vince to leave the room, and Vince turns round, getting very serious all of a sudden with the camera zooming in on his face.

*The Opening Match*
Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Tournament - First Round Match
Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas vs. The Pitbulls

The WWE Tag Team Champions, Paul London & Brian Kendrick were watching on in the back on a monitor as these two teams went all out to get the win and move one step closer to a shot at the tag team titles. Noble & Kash were bang up for it but it was Lashley & Haas who came out on top after an Olympic Slam on Kash from Haas was followed up by the Haas of Pain with Lashley taking Noble out with a spear, leaving Kash all by himself and with no choice but to tap out. London & Kendrick were shown looking quietly impressed and maybe even slightly concerned as Haas & Lashley had their arms raised by the referee, looking a very dangerous prospect indeed.

Winners: Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas by pinfall.

Michael Cole: Well now we know that Bobby Lashley an' Charlie Haas will join Paul Burchill an' TJ Wilson as well as The Empire in the semi finals of the tournament to determine the number one contenders f' the WWE Tag Team Championship. Later on t'night we'll find out who will join them in the final four but Matt, what an amazing start we've had t' the show t'night. Not only has Mr McMahon made a shocking return but he's made a huge steel cage match at No Way Out between CM Punk an' John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship. It doesn't end there though, as right here in our main event t'night, Cena will warm up for that match inside that steel cage hanging over the ring by taking on Homicide, the man who cost him the chance t' be World Champion twice last week. That's not all. If CM Punk goes anywhere near that cage he'll be stripped of his title. We're also going t' hear from the two men who will meet in a TLC match at No Way Out next weekend in Christian an' Edge in an interview held earlier t'day with Matt Striker here.

Matt Striker: Indeed we will. I had the opportunity to speak with both Edge an' Christian earlier on, and let's just say I wasn't disappointed.

We're shown a split screen of Bryan Danielson & Jack Swagger as they both make their way through the back, ready for action and looking up for the fight.

Michael Cole:
When we come back folks we'll see two of the hottest young stars on Smackdown, Bryan Danielson an' Jack Swagger go one-on-one. Don't go anywhere.

*Commercial Break*

*Match #2*
Bryan Danielson vs. Jack Swagger

The fans were very quick to appreciate Danielson's hard hitting style in the early going, and his resiliency impressed them too as he continued to frustrate The All-American American. Swagger to his credit took some serious offence from Danielson and came close to the win when he hit his corner slingshot splash, only for Danielson to get his shoulder up at two. Swagger was bursting to put Danielson away and dragged him into the centre of the ring to apply the Ankle Lock, and he got it, only for Danielson to eventually fight his way to the ropes. Swagger wasn't at all happy and tried to drag him back, but Danielson turned over and kicked him off before rolling him into an inside cradle. He only got a two and Danielson took control as they made their way back up, ducking a wild clothesline and unleashing several vicious kicks to the body before hitting a sitout dropkick to the face. He went up top for a diving headbutt but Swagger rolled to safety, and as they clawed their way up to their feet, Danielson ducked a right hand and locked in the LeBell Lock, eventually forcing Swagger to tap out for another solid win which the fans certainly appreciated.

Winner: Bryan Danielson by submission.

Michael Cole: It's another impressive victory f' Bryan Danielson as he continues t' make a name f' himself here on Smackdown. I get the feeling that we're going t' see a lot more from Danielson in 2009.

Matt Striker: I have to agree with you Michael. Technically he's extremely talented and clearly he has the all important will t' win. I f' one expect good things from Bryan Danielson moving forward.

The rather exuberant diva, O.D.B. is walking through the backstage area, sipping from her flask looking as relaxed as usual when she's approached by Josh Matthews.

Josh Matthews:
Excuse me, ODB, can I have a quick word with you?

She turns round and looks him up & down, then gives him a worrying smile.

ODB:
You can have as long as you want.

Josh Matthews: O-kayyy. I just wan'ed t' get your thoughts on the match made earlier f' No Way Out between you an' Beth Phoenix for the diva's title.

ODB: What you talkin' about?

Josh Matthews: Apparently Beth went to Mr McMahon an' asked for a match with you after ev'rything that's happened between you two lately.

ODB: Has she now? She's got balls I'll give her that an' she's gonna need 'em if she wants t' get in the ring with me. It ain't gonna change the fact I'm gonna knock the bitch out an' take her title.

Josh casually nods his head, not wanting to upset O.D.B. as she takes a swig from her flask and again looks him up & down.

ODB: Well I might have a match at No Way Out but I don't t'night. How y'feel about gettin' busy?

There's a petrified look beaming across Josh's face.

Josh Matthews:
Wow, well I appreciate the offer, I really do. . .

ODB: . . . You won't find anyone who'll give ya a good time like I can.

Josh Matthews: Like I said, I appreciate the offer but I'm a bit busy right now working an' I don't think I'll be finished f' a while.

ODB: Oh well, your loss.

She takes another swig and walks away without a care in the world, leaving Josh to breathe a sigh of relief.

Josh Matthews:
Wow. Thank god f' that.

The United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler is headed to the ring it would seem, all ready for action.

Michael Cole:
After a short commercial break we'll be right back with the United States Champion Dolph Ziggler. We'll see you in a few minutes.

*Commercial Break*

Spoiler for WrestleMania Teaser:

"PERFECTION. . . I am perfection!. . ."

The United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler casually strolls out to the stage and stops to gaze into the crowd looking very relaxed indeed. He unstraps his United States title and lifts it up into the air, getting more heat from the crowd, bringing a wry smile to his face. He drops it down on to his shoulder and heads down to the ring, laughing off the boos & taunts from the fans. He hits the ring and picks a microphone up off the apron before walking into centre stage, getting more boos as his music stops, not looking too happy with the crowd's reaction.

Dolph Ziggler:
Is that the kind of reception you should be giving the United States Champion?

*More Heat*

Dolph Ziggler: Quite frankly I don't care, but what I do care about is that even after I set the record straight about what happened at the Royal Rumble when I became the United States Champion, there are still some people who believe I don't deserve t' hold this title. Let me say this again, I had nothing t' do with what happened before my match with Matt Sydal. All that matters is I won that match fair an' square.

*More Boo*

Dolph Ziggler: I backed it up with a win here last week like I will do t'night. Not that I need to but I'm going t' prove all those people wrong. Right here right now I'm offering an open challenge to anyone in the locker room, and if, and I mean if they manage t' beat me I'll give them a title match next week down under in Australia.

*Pop*

Dolph Ziggler: So let's get right to it.

Ziggler turns to look up at the stage.

Dolph Ziggler:
Who's gonna step up? Come on, let's go.

The United States Champion steps back and waits, not having to wait long as the music of J-Red, the Cruiserweight Champion hits to a big pop and Red flies out to the stage, throwing his title up in the air looking well & truly pumped up. A referee runs down past him as Ziggler backs up smirking, looking very confident as he hands the microphone through the ropes as Red slaps hands with the fans on the way down to the ring.

*Match #3*
Open Challenge - Champion vs. Champion
J-Red vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler was quickly regretting the open challenge as the Cruiserweight Champion took the fight to his fellow champion, and the fans were right behind Red. He gained some serious momentum and had Dolph in deep trouble, catching him with Seeing Red, a hip toss into a full nelson face-buster. Dolph kicked out at two and managed to do so again when he looked down & out. The United States Champion managed to reverse an irish whip, but as Red came back off the ropes he got the fans going crazy when he countered with a satellite DDT. They were counting along with the referee but Ziggler just managed to get his shoulder up at two. Red looked deflated, thinking he had the match won there & then. Dolph was struggling, eyes all over the place as he tried to sit up. The Cruiserweight Champion spotted his opportunity and went to the apron, getting ready to strike with the fans on their feet as Dolph struggled to get back on his. As he unwittingly clawed his way back up and then turned round, Red hit a springboard for the Red Alert, a diving swinging reverse STO. Ziggler dodged it though, just, and took full advantage as he jumped on Red for the Zig Zag to get the narrow victory. He celebrated like a very relieved man after the bell, and he should've been as he looked down at Red coming round.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler by pinfall.

Michael Cole: Dolph Ziggler is on a roll but that wasn't easy at all for the new United States Champion. J-Red pushed him all the way but it's Ziggler that comes out on top in the clash of the champions. I don't think anyone can say he doesn't deserve t' be United States Champion. As arrogant he is, he's equally good in the ring.

Matt Striker: There's no doubt about that. You might not like him but you don't have to. He came through a tough match t'night. That you have to respect.

From Last Week!

WWE Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Tournament - First Round Match
Paul Burchill & TJ Wilson w/Harry Smith & Natalya Neidhart
vs. Petey Williams & Johnny Devine

Petey certainly thought TJ was there for the taking when he called for the tag. He got it and set TJ up for the Canadian Destroyer, but TJ countered with a back body drop to a big roar from the crowd. He managed to kick back at Williams as he tried to stop him making the tag to Burchill, but he couldn't and TJ jumped up to tag in the big man. The Englishman hit the ring to a big pop and turned the tables back in their favour, coming so close to getting the three when he hit a top rope moonsault on Petey.

Thankfully for him though, Devine broke up the count before the ref could count to three. Petey tagged him in and when Devine this time missed an enzuigiri, Burchill seized the initiative again and didn't look back, helping a desperate Petey over the top rope before hitting Devine with the C4 to book him & TJ a place in the next round of the number one contenders tournament, met by a big pop from the fans and a very unified celebration from the UK/Canadian combination along with their bitter rivals, The Empire.

***

An angry Petey Williams is shown walking through the back with a face like thunder when his tag team partner, Johnny Devine runs to catch up with him.

Johnny Devine:
What was that huh? Why'd you walk out on me like that?

Petey stops and gives him a filthy look.

Petey Williams:
Why? You have to ask me why? Tell me Johnny, when was the last time we won a match?

Devine stops & thinks.

Petey Williams:
Exactly. That's my point. I can't remember either an' I'm sick of it. I'm sick of losing. I've had of enough it.

Johnny Devine: Wait. You don't think I'm not?

Petey Williams: You shouldn't be but I'm better than this, way better than this an' you know it too. That's why from now on, I'm doing things by myself.

Devine looks stunned as his deadly serious friend turns round and walks away from him.

*Match #4*
Yoshi Tatsu vs. Petey Williams

Johnny Devine was shown watching backstage after Petey's decision to go it solo last week, and Petey was out to impress. He didn't have it all his own way though, and just as he looked to hit the Canadian Destroyer when he finally got Yoshi where he wanted him, Tatsu countered with a back body drop and then hit the top rope and came down on the Canadian with a cross body for a two count. The fans were supporting him, but Petey stole the initiative back with a leg lariat and a snap swinging neck-breaker before this time hitting the Canadian Destroyer to earn the win that he didn't look overly excited about, looking like he means business from now on.

Winner: Petey Williams by pinfall.

Michael Cole: Well Matt, Petey Williams said he wan'ed to go it alone and it looks like that might've been the right decision if t'night is anything t' go by. Right now though we're going t' take you to an interview conducted earlier on t'day by my colleague Matt Striker with the two brothers who'll meet at No Way Out in a TLC match, Christian an' Edge.

We're taken to a made-up interview set with Matt Striker sat in-between Christian to his left and Edge to his right, all on stools armed with microphones with Edge & Christian both staring at each other.

Matt Striker:
Gentlemen I'd like to thank you both for taking the time to join me. Obviously we're here to talk about your match next weekend at No Way Out in a TLC match proposed by you Christian where the winner will be determined for the first time in a TLC match by pinfall or submission. Given your recent history as rivals with your history as one of the most successful tag teams the business has ever seen, it seems appropriate that you'll meet in this match you have so much history in. You've met twice since Christian returned last year with one win a piece, most recently yours Edge on Smackdown a couple of weeks ago after Christian's victory at Summerslam. This match you could almost call a rubber match. Christian, is that something you had in mind when you made the challenge last week?

Christian: After hearing all that about our history it'd be easy f' me t' sit here an' lie just to agree with you but the truth is it was a spur of the moment thing. I ran down t' that ring an' when I ducked that chair shot from Adam, then grabbed it myself, that's when it hit me. Thankfully the chair didn't but inspiration did. I was still angry after he sneaked the win over me the week before. Even eliminating him in the Royal Rumble didn't make up for it. I was full of frustration. That cheap win was still eating away at me an' I know he wasn't going t' let it go, me throwing him out of the Rumble. . .

Edge: . . . You're damn right I won't an' it's a good thing you know it. You sure as hell will in Vegas next Sunday when you're looking up at the stars after I beat you like I did the other week.

Christian: Yeah, we'll see. You can see how angry he is Matt. He was gonna take Danielson's head off last week. It was only a matter of time before he came after me, so I did it f' him, an' what better way t' do it an' end all this. It's about time we both moved on. I didn't come back here to argue with him for the rest of my career. I came here t' climb all the way t' the top of the business. I can't do that until this is over an' done with, an' after I beat him at No Way Out like I did at Summerslam, I'll move on to what I came back for, to be a world champion.

Edge: Yeah right. You've got more chance of being the women's champion.

Christian: Funny bro. We'll see how funny it is next week when I smash your skull in with a steel chair.

Matt Striker: . . . Guys we're getting off point.

Christian & Edge calm themselves down, staring at each other still as they both slump back on their stools.

Matt Striker:
Let's get back to the TLC match. It's a match that you helped make famous. We've seen some amazing TLC matches since but it's a match that you two certainly helped make what it is. It even helped cement your status as one of the best tag teams in the history of the WWE. I don't think many people will f'get your spear off the ladder Edge at Wrestlemania 17. . .

Edge: . . . You're right Matt. No one will f'get that. What they have f'got. . . wait. What they did f'get was Christian. No one noticed you'd gone bro because despite us being Edge and Christian, it was all about me. I was the one who went on to be the star. I've done it all. I've done it all in kinds of matches like this one. When you made that challenge last week C, you had no idea what you were getting in to. You might've been there f' those early TLC matches but you were there in the shadow, the shadow of my spotlight. You went into the shadows f' years after that, while I, the star of the team went on to win the King of the Ring, Money in the Bank, world titles an' headline Wrestlemania. You've done none of that. I carried you the entire team we were t'gether. Your one win at Summerslam you talk about was a one off, a total fluke. They happen, but it won't happen again, trust me.

Matt Striker: Christian, what's your response to that?

Edge smirks right at his brother and Christian sits up properly on the stool getting quite serious.

Christian:
Y'know it's hard to argue with a lot of that. There's no doubt he went on to big things, all the way t' the top. I won't get into how he's won some of those things an' some of the other things he's done but the fact is he's been where I plan to. As f' Summerslam, he can call it a fluke if he wants but we'll find out at No Way Out if it was a fluke or not. I honestly believe I can an' will beat 'im, then when I have I know I'm in a place I need t' be t' give myself the chance to accomplish what he has, only I won't lie an' cheat my way there. I'll do it in a way that'll make our family proud.

The Rated-R Superstar doesn't like that last comment at all.

Edge:
An' what's that supposed t' mean? I won those world titles fair an' square. That's what Money in the Bank is all about, not that you'd know about it.

Christian: That's not what I meant, but if you wanna get in to this bro, it's fine with me. What I meant was taking shortcuts, using people like Vickie Guerrero t' help keep the world title. We all wanna be world champion, it's why we all got into this business, but I wanna be a champion the fans an' people around me can be proud of.

Matt Striker: That brings me to what I wanted to ask the both of you next. We saw CM Punk defeat John Cena last week in their final encounter for the World Heavyweight Championship, and from that we can gather that there is a spot open for a number one contender for the world title. Given the importance of this match at No Way Out, it would seem that whichever of you comes out the winner will stand a strong chance of earning a shot at CM Punk, perhaps even at Wrestlemania. Is that something either of you have thought about?

Edge: I'm always thinking about it. I want that world title back, an' after I beat you next week bro, I'm going back t' back in main eventing Wrestlemania f' the world title. You might've caught me off guard an' stopped me at the Rumble, but this is right up my street. I know that world title shot is within grasp an' you're not stopping me this time I promise you that. Once I'm done beating you, CM Punk or whoever's champion then, I'm gonna be World Champion again. That's not me being arrogant, it's the truth. It's only a matter of time before that title's back around my waist. You can say whatever you want C, nothing's gonna change that, least of all you.

Matt Striker: How do you respond to that Christian?

Christian: Well t' me it's real simple Matt. Earlier in my career I, well we were guilty of looking past people. That's one of the things that's changed now. I'm not like that. I don't take anything f' gran'ed anymore. I don't look past anyone an' the same applies here. I know what's at stake but I also know how tough this is gonna be. As much as I wanna win an' go on t' fight f' the world title, unlike my overconfident brother I know I've not won anything yet. Make no mistake, I'm gonna give it ev'rything I've got at No Way Out. I'm gonna do ev'rything I can t' make sure I win that match, an' if it's enough an' gets me a shot at the world title, then you better believe I'm gonna go all out t' make my dream come true. Adam might've been in these big matches, won these matches but you've gotta start somewhere. He did an' now it's my turn. I didn't come back t' settle f' mediocrity. I came back f' matches specifically like these an' I'm ready. I'm ready bro, an' I hope you know it too. You underestimated me at Summerslam an' if you do it again, it'll be the same outcome an' you can forget about the world title f' the time being. This time it'll be you in the shadows. . .

Edge: . . . Yeah I don't think we have t' worry about that.

Matt Striker: Gentlemen I think it'll be unwise to go down that path. I believe we've covered ev'rything, so let me thank you again for taking the time to speak with me and good luck to you both next weekend at No Way Out.

Christian: No problem Matt.

Edge stands up and takes off his clip microphone.

Edge:
Yeah whatever.

The Rated-R Superstar walks off the set leaving Christian smirking, not looking too worried about the challenge awaiting him at No Way Out.

"On A Mission"

The Empire, Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre, William Regal & Katie Lee
walk out to the stage to a chorus of boos but looking very smug with Katie waving a Union Jack as always. All three men are in their ring gear but Barrett & McIntyre have brand spanking new 'Empire' T-shirts on, and as they enter the ring, Barrett picks a microphone up off the apron. He steps inside, still with a big smile on his face as their music cuts, bringing out the boos for the four Brits standing in a line in the middle of the ring.

Wade Barrett:
It's no secret in recent weeks we've been nothing but robbed by a whole host of people. I'm happy t' say however that's all changing, because in just a matter of weeks we will once again be the number one contenders for the tag team championships.

*Heat*

Wade Barrett: I'm sure there are other teams back there feeling very confident but last week we comfortably booked our place in the semi finals of the tournament that we will win, and the very men who cost us the titles in the first place aren't going to stop us getting them back.

There are more boos coming from the crowd as Barrett hands the stick to Regal.

William Regal:
Thank you Wade. You are correct. Very soon the tag team championships will be back in the hands of the British where they belong.

*More Boos*

William Regal: I must stress that I am not referring to the previous holders of the championships. These two men alongside me are the true champions who will in the very near future reclaim what they absolutely deserve. Earlier today I issued a challenge to those troublemakers for one of them to face me in this ring tonight, to which a former acquaintance of mine accepted. At this time I would like my opponent to make his way down to the ring where I will show you Americans who the true pride of Britain is.

There's more heat aimed at them as they all turn and look up at the stage.

"Britannia"

A big pop breaks out as Paul Burchill walks out first, followed by TJ Wilson, Harry Smith (on crutches and wearing an ankle boot) and TJ's girlfriend, Natalya Neidhart. Burchill's got his game face on as he walks down the ramp, eyes locked on the confident looking Empire with Regal also raring to go.

*Match #5*
Paul Burchill w/Harry Smith, TJ Wilson & Natalya Neidhart
vs. William Regal w/Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre & Katie Lee

Regal received some help from his Empire teammates on the outside, and it was threatening to boil over with TJ, Smith & Natalya warning their rivals to stay out of the match. It was Regal who stole the march but Burchill kept fighting to give the fans hope, kicking out of a Regal-Plex and dragging himself to the ropes when Regal locked him up in an inverted STF. Burchill looked like he was there for the taking, but as Regal looked to put him away with his deadly knee, Burchill dodged it and caught Regal by surprise, hitting the C4 out of nowhere for the win. The fans cheered him as he was joined in the ring by TJ, Harry & Natalya as Regal rolled out of the ring. Burchill though clearly had something on his mind and went to get a microphone.

Winner: Paul Burchill by pinfall.

Paul Burchill: You guys are nothing but hypocrites. You f'get how you stole the tag team titles from us. You lost them fair and square, however you're not the only ones who have your sights set on getting them back. We too won our first round match last week, and if you think you're going to get them back easily, you're very much mistaken. If you want them back, you'll have to go through us.

"Britannia" hits again and Burchill along with Wilson, Smith & Natalya stare up at the rattled Empire who stare back, full of frustration.

Michael Cole:
Well The Empire found out that they're going to have a fight on their hands if they want another shot at the tag team titles. Paul Burchill showed how much he wants them back too, but they're not the only ones.

Matt Striker: Exactly right Michael. We saw a very impressive victory earlier for Bobby Lashley an' Charlie Haas, plus we still have one final first round match to come later this evening. It's going to be a fascinating conclusion to this tournament that's f' sure.

The 2008 King of the Ring, Matt Sydal is shown in his ring gear walking through the back in his casual clothes, arm around his girlfriend, Mickie James, seemingly headed to the ring.

Michael Cole:
In just a few moments folks I'll be speaking to the former United States Champion Matt Sydal out here about his match at No Way Out with the man who cost him that title at the Royal Rumble, Ted DiBiase. Don't go anywhere. We'll be back in a matter of minutes.

*Commercial Break*

Michael Cole
is standing in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand.

Michael Cole:
Ladies an' gentleman at this time it gives me great pleasure to intr'duce t' you a superstar who had an incredibly successful 2008. Not only was he voted the Breakthrough Star of the Year last month, he also won the United States Championship and is the current King of the Ring. Please give a warm welcome to Matt SYDAL.

"Born to Fly"

Along with his girlfriend, Mickie James, Matt Sydal walks out to the stage to a very strong pop. He smiles at the fans on his way down the ramp with Mickie as Cole claps in the ring.

From Raw Monday Night!

Non-Title Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Ted DiBiase w/Maryse

The Heartbreak Kid received a huge ovation from the fans as he entered the arena in his first match since winning the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble just over a week ago. DiBiase on the other hand was greeted by a chorus of boos, something he & Maryse didn't appreciate, but he was particularly angry at seeing Matt Sydal, the Smackdown superstar he'll meet at No Way Out joining JR & King at the announce table. Before the bell was rung, he made some gestures towards Sydal, and Maryse gave Sydal and his girlfriend, Mickie James some filthy looks too.

Maryse tried to warn DiBiase, but as he stood up, Michaels exploded out of the corner and took his head off with Sweet Chin Music to an almighty roar. The WWE Champion made the cover, getting the all but inevitable three count to pick up the victory before celebrating his victory with "Sexy Boy" blasting out, posing with the WWE title on the second rope while an unhappy Maryse looked on. Shawn then left the ring and slapped hands with the fans on the way back up the ramp, stopping on the stage to turn around and lift his title up for one last pop with DiBiase sat up in the ring looking angrily up at him. Michaels then turned to walk backstage but DiBiase shouted something at Maryse, and she went to get a microphone, bringing it back into the ring for her boyfriend as he stood up looking furious as Shawn's music cut.

Ted DiBiase: T'night I was robbed again, just like I was at the Royal Rumble.

*Heat*

DiBiase turns round and walks over to the apron, staring right down at Sydal and Mickie.

Ted DiBiase:
It was your fault that night like it is t'night. You're the reason I didn't win the Rumble. You're the reason I'm not in the main event of Wrestlemania like I should be, all because you know I was the real breakout star of year, not you. You know you were lucky t' win that, but you won't be lucky at No Way Out when I make you pay f' screwing me out of that, the Rumble and the WWE title.

Sydal shakes his hand and stands up at the announce table with a microphone.

Matt Sydal:
F' once, why don't you do us all a favour an' shut your mouth?

*Big Pop*

DiBiase's livid in the ring, talking smack at the crowd.

Matt Sydal:
Ev'ryone knows you've got a big mouth. All this talk about main eventing Wrestlemania. You're crazy. You're all talk. All you need to worry about is No Way Out, but I'll be the one getting payback f' what you did t' me at the Royal Rumble. You're the one that screwed me but that's fine. I can't wait f' No Way Out t' get in the ring with you 'cause payback's gonna be a bitch.

__________________________________________________________________________________________
__________________________________________________________________________________________

Sydal & Mickie are in the ring with Cole passing him a microphone too as the music stops.

Michael Cole:
Matt, I'd like to thank you for taking the time t' come out here and speak t' me t'night. Obviously you're unable to compete at the moment after what happened at the Royal Rumble before your match with Dolph Ziggler where you unfortunately lost the United States Championship. We know that you'll have your chance t' settle the score next weekend at No Way Out when you take on Ted DiBiase, but what I think we all want t' know is, based on how great 2008 was for you with ev'rything that you accomplished, how do you feel about what happened at the Royal Rumble and if you now regret deciding to go ahead with the match against Ziggler?

Matt Sydal: Honestly? It wasn't the smartest decision I've ever made but at the end of the day I've never backed down from a challenge. I've always been a fighter Michael so it wasn't even a decision f' me. Looking back, yeah it wasn't the best thing t' do 'cause I lost the title but these things happen. I've still got a rematch so it's not all bad.

Michael Cole: Well I think it's fair t' say that attitude is one of the reasons why you're so popular around here as well with the fans, but after DiBiase's unprovoked actions you must feel some sort of anger towards him?

Matt Sydal: Anger? Yeah sure but I guess it's the way I deal with it. I don't let it bother me much, but trust me, when it comes down to it at No Way Out you'll probably see that anger come out. I. . .

"Priceless, baby I'm priceless. . ."

A chorus of boos is thrown at Ted DiBiase & Maryse as they stroll out to the stage with DiBiase holding a microphone and not looking at all happy.

Ted DiBiase:
Cole, I think there's a few other titles you neglected t' mention when you intr'duced the wonder boy there.

The music cuts and DiBiase walks down the ramp with Maryse, getting dirty looks from Mickie as she watches from the ring along with Cole & Sydal.

Ted DiBiase:
For example, I've heard him called the underdog as well as the guy next-door. He's also nothing more than a fraud, and most importantly he's the guy who cost me the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.

Even more heat is thrown at DiBiase as he & Maryse enter the ring with all eyes on them, and Ted confidently walks towards them, followed by Maryse.

Ted DiBiase:
The fact you people voted him the Breakthrough Star of the Year ahead of me speaks volumes about just how little you all know about what goes on in this ring. Clearly you know nothing but there's no denying I would be main eventing Wrestlemania as the WWE Champion if it wasn't for the wonder-kid here.

*Heat*

Ted DiBiase: Boo all you want. You saw him march on down to the ring, injured or not t' make sure I didn't win the Rumble. He distracted me to get me thrown out. The footage doesn't lie. That footage though from backstage before your match Matt, unlike what you did t' me, it wasn't premeditated. I never set out t' cost you the United States title. I was actually sorry about that until you robbed me of the chance to headline Wrestlemania like I should.

*More Boos*

Ted DiBiase: Any sympathy I had is gone, well gone. The only thing you're going t' get now is the beating of your life at No Way Out, an' all this I've heard about how you made the wrong decision about going ahead with your match that night, when I'm done with you, you won't be in any matches full stop f' a long long time.

*Heat*

Mickie looks furious, more so than Sydal as DiBiase stares intently at him, and Mickie grabs the microphone out of her boyfriend's hand.

Mickie James:
Y'know what? I've met some real pieces of work in my time here, but you, you're the worst by a long long way. You have the nerve t' come out here an' put all of this on Matt? You're absolutely deluded y'know that? You don't know you were gonna go on an' win the Rumble. I bet there's no one here t'night who believes you had a chance of winning the Rumble, am I right?

*Pop*

DiBiase looks furious, staring at the crowd and back at Mickie.

Mickie James:
You attacked Matt f' no reason but pathetic jealously. He was voted Breakthrough Star of the Year an' you weren't. You couldn't handle that could you? These people deserve as much a say as anyone else. Just because you think you should've won that award doesn't mean you deserved it, an' because you didn't, you attacked Matt t' feel better about it. Then because of what you did, he lost the United States title.

*More Heat*

Mickie James: He fought like crazy t' keep that title too, even after what you did. He had broken ribs an' he still almost retained the title. Unlike you he didn't have that title handed to him on a plate or come up with some grand deception like you did, an' since I don't see any gold around your waist right now I guess that didn't work out so well for you right?

Ted really does looked pissed off with Mickie, as does Maryse.

Mickie James:
Y'know, I remember that night like it was yesterday. It was Summerslam, the same night Matt won the United States title against someone who played dirty, used ev'ry trick in the book t' stop him taking his title because he knew he couldn't beat Matt. Thankfully Matt finally got what he deserved that night. He won his match just like you did, a match we watched backstage where you an' y'dad screwed Kofi Kingston out of the Intercontinental Championship.

*Heat*

Mickie James: That's the diff'rence between you an' him. Matt's honest. He doesn't need t' cheat like you do. You, you're gutless, a liar an' a cheat. He's twice the man you are. He doesn't need his dad t' become a champion. He deserved that Breakthrough Star of the Year title too, an' at No Way Out in Vegas next weekend you're gonna find out why, an' I can't wait t' stand out there watching see him do it too.

*Big Pop*

The King of the Ring rubs Mickie's shoulder, smiles at her and takes the microphone back.

Matt Sydal:
She's right. You can think I robbed you of whatever you want at the Rumble if it makes you feel better. The way I see it, an' I'm sure ev'ryone else sees it, you were the one that turned your back in the Rumble. I didn't make you turn around. You're just making excuses. I'll be honest. After what you did earlier t' me, I wish I'd thrown you out myself.

*Pop*

Matt Sydal: Don't worry though. I'll settle f' beating you at No Way Out. . .

Ted DiBiase: . . . There's just one thing wrong with that wonder-boy. . . that's not going t' happen. I'll prove both you and that big mouth girlfriend of yours wrong.

Maryse whispers something in Ted's ear and makes him laugh.

Ted DiBiase:
Sorry I should just share something with you. My beautiful girlfriend has quite the sense of humour. She rightly pointed out that it's no coincidence that Mickie has a big mouth given the size of the rest of her.

*Heat*

Mickie's furious and grabs the microphone in a flash.

Mickie James:
What did you say?

Maryse shrugs her shoulders without a care in the world with Ted laughing as his girlfriend starts talking to her in French, pissing Mickie off even more.

Mickie James:
Unfortunately I don't understand French, but let's see if you understand this. . .

Mickie drops the stick and jumps on top of Maryse to force her down to the mat where she pummels away at Maryse with the crowd loving it and Cole slips out of the ring. Ted tries to drag her off but Sydal pushes him away to pull Mickie up herself, not that she wants him to. Reluctantly she lets go and stands up, just as DiBiase jumps Sydal to force him down on to his knees. Ted stomps all over the already injured back of Sydal, holding off Mickie when Elijah Burke charges down the ramp with his fiancée Layla following to a pop from the crowd. Burke dives under the bottom rope and steps right in front of DiBiase, keeping him away from Sydal. DiBiase holds his hands up and gives up, or so we think and he throws a right at Burke, but Burke blocks it and knocks DiBiase down with a hard right hand. The fans cheer that as Ted rolls out of the ring holding his jaw, glaring back at Burke as he helps the sore looking Sydal back up. Burke & Sydal along with Mickie & Layla stare back angrily at Ted & Maryse, all set for a battle at No Way Out in nine nights.

We're taken backstage where Josh Matthews is standing by at the interview set.

Josh Matthews:
Joining me at this time are the team of Alberto Del Rio and Chavo Guerrero.

The camera zooms out and there stand Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero in their ring gear looking fairly relaxed.

Josh Matthews:
Gentlemen, in just a few moments you will be competing in the final first round match in a tournament that will determine who will receive a shot at the WWE Tag Team Champions. It may be the final match in this first round but it will your first match as a team. Does that worry you at all that it may well put you at a disadvantage?

Chavo Guerrero: Although that might be true Josh that it is our first time teaming together, we both have a great deal of respect for each other's ability but for the legacies of our respective families. Our familys' reputation and success in Mexico goes way back which is why we're going to make the most of this opportunity we've been given. Not only is it a tremendous opportunity for our own careers, it gives us the chance to further cement the legacy of both mine and Alberto's family in our homeland that we hold with more respect than you could possibly imagine.

Del Rio smiles at Chavo and steps forward.

Alberto Del Rio:
The respect we have for each other is why we will not only win tonight but why we will go on to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. The disgusting American people like yourself may not like it but that doesn't matter. They will have no choice but to accept it because you are looking at the next tag team champions, and that is a promise.

Del Rio stares intently at Josh, looking very convincing as Chavo this time steps in front.

Chavo Guerrero:
He's not lying Josh. We will win tonight, and we will win the tag team titles. There may be three other teams who have qualified for the next round but none of them have what it takes to stop us making our families and our country proud. You'll see. Now though you'll have to excuse us as we have a match t' win.

The Mexican duo nod meaningfully at Matthews before walking past him and out of the shot.

Michael Cole:
We'll find out if Chavo Guerrero an' Alberto Del Rio will make it through to the semi finals when we come back in just a few minutes.

*Commercial Break*

*Match #6*
Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Tournament - First Round Match
Jimmy Yang & Sonjay Dutt
vs. Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero

The Mexican duo looked impressive as a team from the get go but they did have to ride a storm when Yang started to fight back. Chavo missed with a missile dropkick and quickly found himself in trouble, kicking out of a diving cross body before walking into a super kick. Bravely though he managed to kick out, and when Yang went looking for an asai moonsault, a minor distraction from Del Rio wandering across the apron allowed Chavo to dive on to the ropes. Yang fell into a seated position and Chavo helped him down with a side suplex. He couldn't hit a Frog Splash though when Yang rolled away from the attempt, leading to both men crawling across the ring to tag their partners in. That brought in Dutt & Del Rio, and Dutt seized the initiative until Del Rio caught him out of nowhere with a step-up enzuigiri. He was in no mood to just go for the cover as he grabbed Dutt by his arm to lock in the cross arm-breaker, and it didn't take too long for him to tap out, giving Del Rio & Chavo the win on their first outing as a team. They enjoyed their win, shrugging off the boos without a care in the world, as once again London & Kendrick were shown watching in the back.

Winners: Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero by submission.

Michael Cole: Well now we know it'll be the team of Chavo an' Del Rio that'll complete the line-up for the semi finals of the tournament that'll determine who'll be the team t' challenge Paul London an' Brian Kendrick, and I have t' say, f' a first outing as that was for the Mexican duo, they were very [i]very[/] impressive t'night.

Matt Striker: Yes they were. Technically they're two very talented athletes and they showed it just then. They will be hard to beat but we have four very strong teams left now.

The World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk is shown walking backstage alongside a very serious/business like Homicide and the shot switches to a pumped-up John Cena making his way through the back.

Michael Cole:
We sure do but coming up next it's time for our main event. John Cena will warm up for his steel cage match at No Way Out with CM Punk after the break when he takes on Homicide inside the fifteen foot high unf'giving steel structure. Will Cena get revenge for Homicide's role in CM Punk winning the WWE Championship at his expense? Find out when we come back in just a few minutes.

*Commercial Break*

*The Main Event*
Steel Cage Match
John Cena vs. Homicide

For anyone thinking Cena was going to have it easy, they quickly saw different with Homicide more than up to the fight as CM Punk watched on from the announce table with massive interest, claiming throughout that Mr. McMahon is out to screw him out of the title just like Stephanie was. Cena paid the price for missing the Five Knuckle Shuffle, looking at Punk before running the ropes. Homicide rolled away from it, and as they got up, he caught Cena with the West Brooklyn Lariat. Cena kicked out at two but Homicide kept the fight going and again narrowly missed out after hitting the shining wizard. The tide turned back in Cena's favour after lifting his knees up into Homicide's stomach, and as they clawed their way back up the Cena onslaught began, and after hitting a diving shoulder tackle, this time he connected with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Homicide was on the edge as Cena then went for the F-U, but the Brooklyn native slipped down and tossed Cena face first into the cage. After some recovery time he turned to climb the cage, getting close to the top when Cena sat up, eventually saving the day by pulling Homicide back over the cage head first before hitting a superplex off the top rope. The fans loved that, but Punk didn't! He sat there with a face like thunder as Cena went on to make a cover, but Homicide kicked out. Cena then tried to leave the cage, only for Homicide to stop him, grabbing his leg and dragging him back in. They dragged themselves back up with Cena dodging a facewash attempt and then swiftly planting Homicide with the F-U before dropping to his knees to lock in the STFU. The majority of the crowd cheered as Cena applied the pressure to Homicide who fought it for as long as he could before he had no choice but to tap out. "My Time is Now" blasted out to a loud mixed reaction, mostly cheers with Punk looking furious at the announce table. Cena got his arm raised and then turned to look at the World Champion, staring right at him with Punk standing up, staring right back at him when "No Chance in Hell" hit with Mr. McMahon walking out to the stage with a microphone in hand, catching everyone off guard.

Winner: John Cena by submission.

Mr McMahon: Firstly, John, congratulations on the victory. I have however haven't come out here just to congratulate you John, I have something I need to say. . . We're just over a week away from No Way Out an' next week we'll be down under in Melbourne Australia, so to mark the occasion I've just agreed with Raw's Head of Authority Eric Bischoff that right here next week we're going t' have a very special main event. We're going t' have a six man tag team match that will see CM Punk up team with Raw's Triple H an' Chris Jericho t' take on the team of The Undertaker, Randy Orton and John CENA.

*Massive Pop*

"My Time is Now" plays again as Cena looks over at Punk who responds by defiantly lifting his world title up into the air as Smackdown comes to a close with Mr. McMahon looking on still from the stage.

Michael Cole:
What a main event that is going t' be next week in Australia. Mr McMahon sure is shaking things up here on Smackdown. The Road to Wrestlemania just got a whole lot more exciting. Make sure you're with us next week when he head down under just 48 hours away from No Way Out. Until then folks, good night an' take care.

Breaking News: Mr. McMahon Returns!

Earlier tonight on Smackdown we were expecting a representative of the Board of Directors to appear to address CM Punk's actions last week when he hit the GTS on Stephanie McMahon. The surprise we got was Mr. McMahon making his unexpected return after being off screen since the night after Survivor Series when J.B.L. was retired by The Big Show.

He said that he had taken the time off to build bridges with his family and how he felt he had to react to the World Heavyweight Champion putting his hands on his baby girl, and he certainly did that by making Punk defend his title next weekend at No Way Out in a Steel Cage match against John Cena. It looks like business well & truly has picked up as it's expected Mr. McMahon will be taking charge of Smackdown for the time being at least after Tazz left as General Manager last week.

>No Way Out!<

> 2 Title Matches Added!<

The World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk started Smackdown last night refusing to say he was sorry for what he did to Stephanie McMahon a week earlier, but he may now after Mr. McMahon made a shocking return, immediately causing trouble for the World Champion.

Punk was left fuming when he was told he will have to defend his title at No Way Out next weekend inside a 15ft high steel cage, the same cage that Cena competed in last night to defeat the man who helped Punk beat him at the Royal Rumble, Homicide. Cena received guarantees from the Chairman of the Board that there will be no interference as there was with Stephanie. Cena battled his way to victory last night and he'll be looking to do so again next Sunday in Las Vegas when he & Punk meet for the last time for the World Heavyweight Championship.

It's been no secret that Beth Phoenix & O.D.B. have had their problems over the last month or so, and The Glamazon showed no signs of being intimidated by the rather 'different' Smackdown diva by asking Mr. McMahon for a match with her last night. Mr. McMahon agreed to her request and Beth will now defend her Diva's Championship against the undefeated O.D.B. in Vegas next Sunday.

Will it be a decision The Glamazon will come to regret?

WWE Lining Up ROH Talent<

With Wrestlemania fast approaching, the WWE are looking to sign several new talents to join the talent roster after the showcase event as it's expected there will be some high profile departures to add to those of Ric Flair, Batista & J.B.L. in the last six months.

We understand that they have completed negotiations with Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero. We also believe that there could be interest in the Briscoe Brothers & El Generico. Bryan Danielson also joined the company from ROH last year and went straight to the main roster upon completion of his commitments in October while Tyler Black was assigned to FCW in September. It's understood that Castagnoli would debut on the main roster immediately after Wrestlemania, as for Hero it's uncertain.

Creative are currently analysing their rosters for after Wrestlemania and the tag team division is the one part that really doesn't need any additions, but creative are said to be very high on the Briscoes and room could well be made for them. As high as the company are on Black's potential, it's uncertain whether he too will debut immediately after Wrestlemania. The same is to be said about El Generico if he does indeed join the WWE.

As soon as we receive clarification or confirmation we will update you of the developments.

Gonna b interesting post wrestlemania. The way ur making it sound is as if it will b a fresh new era with some guys who r retired irl will b leaving so u need to bring some new guys in to fill those spots. Don't wanna bring too many new guys in at once bc it will b too much for people to keep track of and everyone will get lost and overshadowed but hero and generico esp. Also revamping the tag division is something everyone tries to do lets see how well u pull it off. In the meantime u still have mania to go. Good luck

Btw can't wait for cm punk vs cena nwo should b great love that story line

This week's Raw & Smackdown's promos will be recapped. I want to get to No Way Out and then the Road To Wrestlemania and there's no big promos like the Punk/Vince one from the last Smackdown that will lose anything not being in full.

*Video Recap*
From Last Week!

Randy Orton vs. Triple H

The Viper stared intently at The Game, getting ready to explode with the running punt. The fans were willing him to hit it as the oblivious Triple H dragged his way up to his knees, giving Orton all the invitation he needed to charge at him. The Game saw him coming though and pulled down the ropes with Orton falling over them all the way down to the floor. He sat up having dodged a bullet, and he knew it as Orton crawled across the floor towards the announce table. Triple H took some time to shake off the cobwebs before slipping out of the ring under the bottom rope to go after Orton, pulling him up from his knees to drive his head into the table. Orton fell to the floor again and a black cloud came over The Game as he stripped the announce table, prompting JR & King to shoot up from their seats. The referee panicked and joined him on the outside, pleading with Trips to rethink and get back in the ring, but he didn't, brushing past him to drag Orton back up and shove him on to the table.

Some of the fans were cheering but most were nervous as Trips jumped up on it, setting him up for the Pedigree dispute the ref's pleas. The Game looked into the crowd with Orton unresponsive, but not for long as he sprung to life, catching Trips completely off guard with the RKO to send them both crashing through the announce table. The fans went nuts and the ref couldn't believe what he was seeing, jumping up & down before checking on them, both laid out in the wreckage. He then called for help from the back and EMT's quickly came running out to attend to them with Bischoff shown watching on surprised from his office, stood up watching the TV. Orton started to show some sort of movement, lifting his head up and responding to the medics while the others checked on Triple H, who started to open his eyes too like Orton, leaving everyone concerned & confused as Raw came to a close.

"Land Down Under" by Men At Work was playing in the ring with the Australian fans pumped up for the start of the show. Not long in though, "Back in Black" hit and Eric Bischoff made his way out to the stage to a pretty decent pop, and the Head of Authority was all smiles as he headed down the ramp and into the ring. Once inside he went over last week's main event between Randy Orton & Triple H, mentioning how there wasn't a winner after the RKO through the table, meaning that neither man qualified for the triple threat number one contender match at No Way Out this Sunday. Bischoff reminded us that earlier that night The Undertaker & Chris Jericho did book their book places in the match that will determine who will challenge 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 25. Bischoff said that because of the ending to last week's show it has left him with a dilemma as to what to do regarding the number one contender match in six nights in Las Vegas. He was quickly interrupted by Triple H who angrily stomped his way down to the ring to "The Game" and got close to Bischoff's face, not intimidating him though and he reminded Bischoff that he didn't lose last week to Orton and that he wasn't about to let Bischoff screw him out of the title shot again that he should still have. He was quick to point the finger at Bischoff of deliberately doing all he can to stop him winning his WWE title back after forcing him in to defending it in the Rumble and then taking away his rematch.

Bischoff quickly defended himself and told Trips that he was wrong, that it was purely business to have the WWE Championship on the line in the Rumble for the first time and that he was well within his rights to take away his rematch clause after the Pedigree a few weeks ago. The former WWE Champion told Bischoff that he didn't believe him and it wasn't his fault that he couldn't continue last week too in his match. Bischoff cut in and agreed with him, explaining that was the problem he faces because neither he nor Orton won the match, leaving him with an impossible decision to make. "Sexy Boy" then blasted out to a huge pop and the WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels entered the Rod Laver Arena to a massive reception which he clearly appreciated. He stayed at the top of the stage with a microphone in hand and weighed in with his view on what Bischoff should do. With The Game looking up furiously at him, Michaels said that Bischoff certainly had a difficult decision to make but he wanted to make it easy for him. He said that there are plenty of ideas he was sure Bischoff was thinking of like keeping it to a one-on-one match at No Way Out between The Undertaker & Chris Jericho or even a rematch later on between Triple H & Randy Orton to make it a triple threat as originally planned. HBK though said that what he'd want to see is everyone get a chance to fight for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, then urged Bischoff to make it a fatal four-way match in Vegas this Sunday.

The crowd liked the sound of that and even The Game nodded at hearing Shawn's suggestion. Michaels said that Trips technically has a rematch and that even Orton deserves another shot, ironically thanks to Hunter. Bischoff took the suggestions on bored and said that he'd thought about that and how he felt that was the best way to go, then double checked with Shawn if he was definitely okay with that, to which the WWE Champion said he was. He told Bischoff that he wants the best possible match at Wrestlemania for everyone including himself, and this way is the best to decide it. Bischoff agreed and made the match; The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. Chris Jericho at No Way Out with the winner facing Michaels at Wrestlemania. He wasn't done there though and said that he was going to make it an elimination match and judging by everything's that happened, all hell is likely to break loose at No Way Out and he can't allow that to happen with so much at stake. He said that he needed someone in charge who could deal with the four men and that he was looking at him, Shawn Michaels, making the WWE Champion the Special Guest Referee. The crowd went nuts for that announcement, unlike a visibly unhappy Triple H and stunned H.B.K. Bischoff wasn't done and said he was going to mark the rare occasion of Raw live in Australia by making a huge main event, Taker & Orton vs. Triple H & Jericho. The Australians loved that as "Back in Black" played again with Triple H eying up The Heartbreak Kid, clearly livid about Michaels being referee.

J.R. & The King talked up the exciting main event to add to what was going to be an exciting episode of Raw live from Melbourne, Australia with a couple of Royal Rumble rematches lined up. They were between the teams of John Morrison & Justin Gabriel and The Miz & Zack Ryder as well as the battle of the two brothers, Kofi Kingston & Jay Lethal.

Backstage, the World Tag Team Champions, The Epitome of Excellence, Christopher Daniels & Kaval were shown making their way through the back.

*Commercial Break*

Shawn Michaels
was walking backstage looking very calm & composed when he walked into the path of one of the men looking to face him at Wrestlemania in Chris Jericho. The mood quickly changed with Jericho looking very serious indeed, and he told the WWE Champion that it was a brave thing he just did by asking for Triple H & Randy Orton to join him & The Undertaker at No Way Out in competing for the right to face him at Wrestlemania. Jericho then told Shawn that his bravery is irrelevant as he will be the one to be the last man standing at No Way Out, therefore the one who goes on to face him for the WWE Championship at Wembley Stadium in London on the biggest stage of them all. The Canadian said that he will not only stop 'The Showstopper' but walk out with his WWE title to prove once and for all that he is the best in the world at what he does. Jericho meant every word, looking so confident in himself, but Michaels had his say, telling Jericho that it was big talk for someone who won his way into the match in the cheap manner he did last week, even being lucky to be going to No Way Out, let alone Wrestlemania. Jericho didn't appreciate that at all from the WWE Champion and said that he would've beaten The Big Show and how what happened wasn't his fault. He then stared intently at Michaels and told him that he will be responsible for one thing though, beating Mr Wrestlemania and becoming the new WWE Champion very soon, but warned Shawn that if he tried to screw him in his role as referee to avoid defending his title against him he will make life a misery for him. Jericho gave the not so worried WWE Champion the eyes before walking past him, and as Michaels then walked up the hall shaking his head with a wry smile on his face, there stood 'The Viper' Randy Orton. The Viper was in his trunks and a T-shirt and he too stared right at Michaels, unnerving The Heartbreak Kid slightly as he stopped & looked at Orton for a couple of seconds before carrying on up the hall as the camera zoomed in on a very intense Randy Orton.

We went back to the ring and the new World Tag Team Champions, The Epitome of Excellence, Christopher Daniels & Kaval made their way down to the ring, not showing too much emotion after winning the tag titles two weeks ago. Once in the ring, Daniels asked for a microphone and quickly said that he & Kaval needed to address the criticism they've received since they defeated Rey Mysterio & Mystico two weeks ago to win the tag team titles. He pointed out that they have had more misfortune than anyone when it comes to the titles and that even though there was an element of controversy in what happened a couple of weeks back, not only was it out of their hands but it was justice for all the injustice they've suffered. The crowd didn't agree and booed with Daniels continuing to say that it wasn't how they planned to become champions but that there is no doubt they deserve to hold the titles that should've been theirs three months ago. Again the crowd booed and got under the skin of Daniels, and he told the fans they can't comprehend what he & Kaval have been through, to be robbed of something they know should be theirs, to be the best in the business they're in but to be denied time & time again.

Suddenly, "Cool" played and The Colon Brothers, Carlito & Eddie walked out to the stage and down to the ring to a pop, confusing the champions. Carlito had a microphone and said that he & Eddie wanted to come out & congratulate the new champions, before telling them they got very lucky. Daniels again took exception and angrily said that he & Kaval didn't break any rules and that they had no idea that Sheamus was going to attack Rey Mysterio despite the fact that they were due some 'luck'. He wasn't done and told Carlito & Eddie that irrespective of what people think they deserve to be champions as they are what they say they are, The Epitome of Excellence. Carlito turned to his brother looking confused, then quickly turned back to Daniels to ask him what that even meant, if it meant they were the two most boring people in the WWE. The Australian fans laughed, but Daniels & Kaval certainly didn't. Daniels composed himself slightly and said it was ironic that the person telling a joke is in fact a joke himself. Carlito wasn't laughing now and asked Daniels if he called him a joke, saying that if he did it wasn't cool. Daniels told Carlito he heard him right and if Carlito wanted to prove him wrong he proposed he accept the challenge to a match against him right there. Carlito was happy to accept and said that beating Daniels in the land down under was going to be very cool. It was on and Daniels called for a referee to come down, and thankfully we got one!

*The Opening Match*
Carlito w/Eddie Colon vs. Christopher Daniels w/Kaval

Carlito & Daniels put on an exciting opener for the crowd and both had a couple of close calls before Daniels was able to pull away from a Backstabber attempt. Carlito rushed back up and ran right at Daniels who stepped away from the ropes, ducked it and rolled Carlito up while resting his feet on the ropes for leverage. The ref looked like he was about to count to three when he looked up & saw Daniels' feet on the rope and stopped the count. Daniels wasn't happy as he stood up and got into it with the referee, allowing Carlito to sit up and roll Daniels up himself, and mid-count he grabbed the rope with one hand himself, only this time the ref didn't see it and counted to three. Carlito slipped out of the ring with the fans cheering & "Cool" playing as Daniels sat up furiously. Kaval slid in the ring and tried to tell the ref what happened as Carlito backed away smiling with Eddie, both revelling in the win as the tag team champions looked on furiously from the ring with their protests falling on deaf ears.

Winner: Carlito by pinfall.

The Intercontinental Champion, Sheamus was shown walking through the back in his ring gear, all ready for action it would seem.

*Commercial Break*

*Match #2*
Non-Title Match
Gregory Helms w/Matt Hardy & Shannon Moore vs. Sheamus

Sheamus was in more of a mood than normal and took it out on Helms, but Helms didn't let the Intercontinental Champion have it all his own way. After missing with a Celtic War Sword, The Celtic Warrior got caught with a super kick out of nowhere. The fans were stunned as Helms rushed to make the cover, but Sheamus kicked out at two. Helms got some momentum going and had Sheamus where he wanted him for the shining wizard. Matt & Moore were as excited as the crowd, but Sheamus ducked it and stood up in time as Helms turned round into the Irish Curse back-breaker. Helms was in all sorts of trouble and Sheamus wasted no time in dragging him up for the High Cross. To everyone's surprise though Helms slipped down as Sheamus set off across the ring and they then both turned to run at each other with Sheamus ducking a clothesline to then catch Helms as he came back off the ropes with the Brogue Kick to pick up the win. "Written In Your Face" played to a lot of heat as the ref raised Sheamus's hand, only angering him even more as he then went to demand a microphone.

Winner: Sheamus by pinfall.

The Intercontinental Champion still wasn't satisfied and talked about how he was jumped backstage last week by an 'opportunistic' Mexican border crawler by the name of Mystico, all because he sent his buddy, Rey Mysterio to the hospital the week before and cost them the tag team titles. The Celtic Warrior really wasn't happy and he said that since Eric Bischoff wasn't going to do anything about, he'd do something himself and sent a message out to Mystico to simply get over it, or if he was feeling brave this week he could walk on out to the ring and fight him like a man. That brought Eric Bischoff out to the stage and he told Sheamus that he spoke with Mystico earlier, well through an interpreter he said and that Mystico will get a chance to fight Sheamus in the ring this Sunday at No Way Out for the Intercontinental Championship. The fans popped for that announcement but Sheamus wasn't worried and asked Bischoff if that was supposed to worry him in the slightest before telling the Head of Authority that he's going to put Mystico in the next hospital bed to Mysterio.

The fans cheered all of a sudden as Sheamus turned to the crowd away from Bischoff to let them know he was going to make Mystico sorry for jumping him last week, just as Mystico jumped the security wall behind Sheamus to jump on the apron. The fans were loving it as Sheamus then turned to see Mystico hit a springboard and a seated senton to take the Irishman down to a big pop. Both men made their way back up and Sheamus followed Mystico towards the rope and in to a drop toe hold on to the middle rope to another big roar. Mystico then dialled up and hit the tiger feint kick before rushing across the apron as Sheamus rolled across the mat with the Mexican racing up to the top rope to hit a senton bomb to get the crowd going even more. His music then hit as he stood up looking down at Sheamus with Bischoff looking on with a smile on his face.

We got a split screen of the two brothers, Kofi Kingston & Jay Lethal all set for their Royal Rumble rematch, both looking fired-up.

*Commercial Break*

The Big Show
was talking to Eric Bischoff in the back about how the ref made the mistake in disqualifying him last week against Chris Jericho and how it's cost him the chance to become the number one contender for the WWE Championship. He told Bischoff that he must've seen that he didn't use the steel chair and asked to be added to the elimination match at No Way Out on Sunday night. Bischoff looked genuinely sorry for Show as he told him that as much as he'd like to, given the previous concerns from others regarding their relationship it might look bad if he did and that even though the referee made the wrong call, the decision is the referee's and it's final. He then explained that he added Randy Orton & Triple H because there wasn't a winner to their match, but then said that there was something he could do and told Show that he was going to put him in a match tonight that if he wins, he'd be the first entrant in this year's Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania.

Show took a couple of seconds to think it about it and told Bischoff that he was fine with that and thanked him when Cody Rhodes & Joe Hennig walked into the shot. Cody asked if he overheard right, that they were talking about Money in the Bank, saying that he was more than worthy of a spot in it. Show stopped himself laughing, disguising it as a cough, something Cody didn't appreciate but didn't acknowledge as Bischoff went on to tell him that after seeing his win last week he was going to give him a chance to win a spot, later on in a match against Big Show. Show smirked again and Cody didn't look at all pleased to be facing Show, then unconfidently checked with Bischoff if he had to beat Show to be in Money in the Bank, and Bischoff told him he could get someone else if he wanted as he was sure someone else would love the opportunity. Cody quickly said he was fine with it, not convincingly at all though as Bischoff said "great" and walked off, leaving Cody & Hennig to stand looking at the challenge he'd face later on in Big Show.

We cut across to the back to Todd Grisham trying to stop Kofi Kingston as he made his way through the production area on the way to the ring for his upcoming Royal Rumble rematch with his brother, Jay Lethal. Kofi didn't look too pleased to be interrupted and just stopped, asking Todd "what?", to which Todd asked him about his reaction last week to storming off when The Colon brothers tried to help him back up after their defeat in their six man tag team match. Kofi abruptly told him that he didn't need to explain himself to Grisham and to get out of his way, brushing his way past him to continue on his way to the ring.

*Commercial Break*

A recap from the Royal Rumble match between Kofi Kingston & Jay Lethal was shown where Kofi froze going for the Trouble In Paradise, allowing Lethal to hit it himself to score the upset win.

*Match #3*
Kofi Kingston vs. Jay Lethal

These two went at it hell for leather, Kofi especially, but unlike the Rumble, no one was underestimating his brother this time. They were right too as it looked like Jay had the win again when he ducked a jumping heel kick and caught Kofi with the Lethal Combination, an STO back-breaker into a reverse STO. Kofi kicked out at two and was able to get his foot on the bottom rope when Jay hit the Lethal Injection, a belly-to-belly suplex lift into a neck-breaker. Jay was pissed and was getting ready to hit the Trouble In Paradise he calls Enzufury. The fans were trying to warn Kofi and Kingston ducked it before exploding with the Trouble In Paradise himself. He absolutely levelled his brother who fell out of the ring under the bottom rope. He wasn't moving as Kofi tried to sit up himself, still struggling himself as the ref began the count. It got to 10 as Jay just managed to drag himself up the apron with Kofi just getting up too. "S.O.S." hit and Jay was pissed, then turned round in a strop to walk back up the ramp to the back. Kofi didn't look too pleased about it and went after him, catching him up close to the top and spinning him round. Lethal was taken by surprise and they talked some smack back before he dared Kofi to hit him, but Kofi couldn't and shook his head furiously, turned round and walked to the back leaving Jay not sure what to think.

Winner: Kofi Kingston by count out.

The impressive duo of John Morrison & Justin Gabriel were shown making their way through the back, as then were their scheduled opponents, The Miz & Zack Ryder in their Royal Rumble rematch.

*Commercial Break*

An angry Jay Lethal was pacing backstage, shouting out for his brother Kofi Kingston walking in the distance. Kofi stopped and turned back to hear Jay calling him 'gutless'. Kofi asked him what he said, but as Jay walked up to his brother and reminded him how he beat him at the Rumble but how Kofi couldn't beat him just before. Kofi just about managed to keep his cool and told his brother he knew full well why he beat him at the Rumble, but Jay said it wasn't his problem that Kofi's gutless. This time Kofi couldn't keep his cool and threw a punch at his brother, and they went at it, slugging it out until officials stormed the scene to break it up, pulling them apart after a struggle with Kofi & Jay not appreciating it at all as they furiously stared at each other past the officials.

A recap from the Royal Rumble match of John Morrison & Justin Gabriel against The Miz & Zack Ryder was shown where Morrison sent Miz tumbling from the ring to finish Ryder with a springboard enzuigiri followed by Starship Pain.

*Match #4*
John Morrison & Justin Gabriel vs. The Miz & Zack Ryder

Miz & Ryder were clearly out to get revenge for the Rumble where Morrison & Gabriel were very calm & composed as they entered the ring. The Bella twins, Brie & Nikki came out to watch them, playing with their hair while the object of their affections tried to repeat their Rumble win. It wasn't easy at all and The Miz thought he had the match won after hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on Morrison with some help from a distraction by Ryder, but Gabriel broke up the count. The fans loved it, as did the Bellas, but Miz didn't at all. It was well worth it though as Gabriel then took to the ring with Ryder, dodging the Rough Ryder before exploding with an enzuigiri. Ryder was out and Gabriel flew up to the top rope to a big pop, just as Miz stormed across the ring to try & stop him, only to be caught half way by a retaliating Morrison. It gave Gabriel the chance to hit the 450 splash and he did, getting the win for him & Morrison to a big pop. The Bellas blew them kisses before walking to the back, and after getting their arms raised & celebrating a tad, they left the ring with another win under their belt. Ryder sat up furiously, as did The Miz, but when they stood up The Miz let rip at Ryder, shoving him in the chest. Ryder shoved back and got right in Miz's face, standing up to him before blocking a right hand and putting Miz on his ass to another big pop. Ryder then left the ring, headed right back up the ramp with Miz sitting up furiously holding his jaw.

Winners: John Morrison & Justin Gabriel by pinfall.

*Commercial Break*

J.R. & The King proceeded to go over this Sunday's No Way Out card.

J.R. mentioned that we learnt earlier that Sheamus would be defending his title against one of the men he cost the tag team titles in Mystico having attacked Rey Mysterio two weeks ago after being eliminated by Rey in the Royal Rumble the night before. King said that Mystico well & truly got under Sheamus's skin tonight and he doesn't know if that'll be a good thing or a bad thing come Sunday in Las Vegas. J.R. agreed but said that Sheamus has been almost unstoppable for most of the time since arriving on Raw and that Mystico will be a big underdog.

King spoke of his obvious negative feelings for DiBiase given their history and hoped that Sydal will get even with him Sunday night. J.R. reminded us that DiBiase is a big part of why Matt Sydal lost the United States title at the Royal Rumble with the backstage attack before the match, all because Sydal was voted Breakthrough Star of 2008 and he wasn't. He then spoke of how once they meet in Vegas we'll find out who is the better man when they collide.

J.R. then moved on to describe how Beth Phoenix has for the most part looked comfortable as Diva's Champion but that has changed since O.D.B. turned up on Smackdown and that we could well see a new Diva's Champion in six nights when they collide for the title. King agreed and said that these aren't two typical divas; they're tough intimidating women who happen to wrestle and that'll be a real battle that won't be pretty but one to watch.

J.R. was excited about the prospect of seeing the former team of Edge & Christian meet in a match they helped make famous and that this really is a challenge Christian will either go on to regret in a big way or look back on as the moment he made a huge step up in his pursuit of becoming a world champion. King spoke of the great matches he & J.R. called with these two and that it'll be an incredible match but that Edge is not to be underestimated. J.R. agreed that a lot of people are under the assumption Christian will follow up his SummerSlam win at No Way Out, and as capable as he is, it'll be a real challenge but a must see for all.

J.R. said that it's been an incredible journey as far as John Cena & CM Punk are concerned but it will all come down to this, a battle to end all the controversy of who really deserves to be World Heavyweight Champion, and it'll be a battle to take place in a 15 foot high steel cage. King said he can't wait to see if Cena will finally shut CM Punk up once & for all and walk out with his world title and speculated as to whether maybe Mr. McMahon will go back on his word to Cena about helping get the title off Punk after the GTS on Stephanie. J.R. said that you can't put anything past Mr. McMahon but regardless of that, it will be an unbelievable match between two warriors who want to be World Champion.

Finally we came down to J.R. talking about how earlier on Eric Bischoff made this fatal four-way elimination match to determine who will challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania and how Michaels will be the special guest referee and play a part in who his opponent will be. King couldn't pick a winner and made a case for them all, saying how they've all been WWE Champion at some point in their careers and fought in Wrestlemania main events. He then went on to speculate as to whether like Mr. McMahon, if The Heartbreak Kid be trusted. J.R. was certain Michaels will call it down the line but we'd have to tune in on Sunday, live on pay-per-view, the final pay-per-view before Wrestlemania to find out who will meet H.B.K. at Wembley Stadium and the answers to all their other questions on what promises to be an incredible night of action with so much at stake going into the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania.

*Match #5*
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
The Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes w/Joe Hennig

To be fair to Cody he didn't look all that confident walking out and down to the ring. Show on the other hand did and never looked in danger, and despite some resilience from Cody, The World's Largest Athlete wrapped it up fairly quickly. Hennig regretted getting on the apron to try & stop Show hitting the WMD on Cody and ate one himself, falling to the floor as Cody then ran at Show, trying to catch him off guard. Show ducked though and KO'd him with the knockout of all punches to advance to Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania.

Winner: The Big Show by pinfall.

Leticia Cline
walked out to the stage to meet The Big Show on his way back up and asked him how he felt about being the first entrant in this year's Money in the Bank match. Show said he wasn't going to lie about feeling disappointed he wasn't in the elimination match at No Way Out but that being in Money in the Bank sure helped. He then said 'if' before correcting himself to say 'when' he wins Money in the Bank he'll get to decide where & when he has his shot at the title of his choosing, saying that is as big as he is. He then told Leticia that he's ready to make sure that at Wrestlemania he gets the briefcase and he'll knock out everyone in his way to get it. "Crank It Up" played again after Leticia thanked him, he saluted the crowd one last time before heading backstage with Leticia.

*Commercial Break*

*The Main Event*
The Undertaker & Randy Orton vs. Triple H & Chris Jericho

The WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels took up a seat at the announce table with JR & King to watch the four men he'll have the job of officiating on Sunday at No Way Out. It was an all out war in the later stages and Taker was getting ready to chokeslam Triple H until Jericho stormed the ring, eating a big right hand. Jericho got right back up as Taker turned the attention back to The Game, and it was down to The Viper to see Jericho out with a clothesline. He followed Jericho out and they brawled on the outside with Jericho trying to escape over the security wall, but Orton followed him through the crowd. Back in the ring, Taker tried for a chokeslam but Trips jumped down to his feet and tried for a clothesline. Taker ducked it though and Trips took the ref down instead, and as he turned round, Trips was scooped up for a Tombstone Piledriver. The fans were going crazy but Trips wriggled down to safety and low blowed Taker to a ton of heat. Triple H couldn't care less though and left the ring to look under the apron, right in front of the announce table. He pulled out his trusty sledgehammer to a chorus of boos, but Michaels wasn't standing for it and pulled off his headset to go after Triple H.

The fans cheered but Shawn was pushed away as Trips slid back in the ring with Taker getting back up, struggling to do so though. Just as HHH was about to take his head off, Shawn slid in the ring and grabbed it out of his hands. Trips was shocked and turned round furiously staring at Shawn, talking some smack when The Undertaker snuck up behind him and spun him round into a chokeslam. Michaels & Taker stared at each other briefly before the WWE Champion left the ring with the sledgehammer, allowing Taker to finish Trips with the Tombstone when the ref crawled across to make the count, slowly as he shrugged off the cobwebs. Taker's music hit to a big pop from the Australian crowd as Jericho jumped back over the security wall and slipped in the ring unnoticed behind Taker. Michaels tried to warn him, and as a confused Taker turned round, Jericho connected with the Codebreaker, unaware that Orton had climbed back over the wall too. The Viper slid in the ring as an amused Michaels gestured to him to turn round, and he did, into an RKO to a big pop. "Voices" then hit as the intense Orton stood up and stared over at the WWE Champion, who stared right back, not intimidated at all as The Game sat up, coming round slightly and looking round as the curtain came down on Raw heading into No Way Out on Sunday in Viva Las Vegas!!!

Winners: The Undertaker & Randy Orton by pinfall.

No Way Out is looking really stacked, just on names, let alone the great build up from what I've read. This past show was really strong, but I am really looking forward to the Sydal/DiBiase contest the most. Maybe because I have always been a fan of DiBiase's, but I am just liking the way he is being portrayed at the moment. Constantly falling short, but never blaming himself, it just fits him spot on.

Some of these matches look like they could go either way, but I am really hoping to see Sheamus drop the title and move on to other things. I'm sure the TLC match will be epic, they usually are, especially including these two men. As for the the #1 Contenders Match, I'd love to see Y2J go over here, but those are just my personal picks on what I'd like to see. Great job and I look forward to No Way Out.

>No Way Out!<

> 2 More Matches Added!<

After the surprising end to last week's Raw where Randy Orton & Triple H were unable to finish their match to determine who would advance to the number one contender match for the WWE Championship at No Way Out this Sunday, it left a big question mark over what it meant to that match.

Fortunately last night we learnt that it will now be a fatal four-way elimination match with Orton & Triple H joining The Undertaker & Chris Jericho in the match that will decide who will meet the WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania. There was also an added twist with Eric Bischoff naming The Heartbreak Kid as the special guest referee this Sunday in Las Vegas, meaning he will have a huge role in who will get to dance with Mr. Wrestlemania on the biggest stage of them all for the biggest prize in the business.

The Intercontinental Champion, Sheamus finally got what was coming to him last night when Mystico, one of the men who lost the tag team titles because of the Irishman's attack on his partner, Rey Mysterio two weeks ago.

Mystico tried to get at Sheamus last week backstage and succeeded, only for them to be pulled apart by officials. That won't be the case in Vegas this Sunday after Eric Bischoff announced that Sheamus will defend his Intercontinental title against the Mexican who caught him off guard last night in Australia when he came through the crowd, making it clear to The Celtic Warrior that he'll be in for a fight Sunday night.

*Video Recap*
From Last Week!

"This Fire Burns"

The World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk walks out to the stage without a care in the world, joined by Homicide who stands alongside him.

*Mixed*

CM Punk: Finally we're back t' where we were before Stephanie stuck her nose where it didn't belong.

Mr. McMahon:
You've run your mouth f' way too long. Now you're going t' listen t' what I have t' say.

*More Cheers*

Mr. McMahon: I took the time out t' think about what was important in my life both personally and professionally, an' in that time I've realised that is my family, not just my sons but my entire family.

Steel Cage Match
John Cena vs. Homicide

Homicide was on the edge as Cena went for the F-U, but the Brooklyn native slipped down and tossed Cena face first into the cage.

____________________________________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Michael Cole & Matt Striker talked up the main event made after the shocking return of Mr. McMahon last week and how the WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels would now be the special guest referee. They also said that we'd see the semi finals in the tournament to crown new number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team titles as well as Ted DiBiase going one-on-one with the best friend of his No Way Out opponent (Matt Sydal), Elijah Burke after Burke knocked him on his ass last week.

Then, "My Time Is Now" hit and John Cena burst out to the stage to a big pop looking to be loving it in the land down under, saluting them before charging down the ramp and sliding in the ring, posing again before getting a microphone. His music stopped and brought out a deafening response, largely cheers with chants of "Cena" & "Cena Sucks", not that they made a difference to Cena. He spoke about how in just a couple of nights he'd be going one-on-one with CM Punk one more time for the World Heavyweight Championship, only this time it'd be inside a 15ft high steel cage. That got the crowd cheering again and Cena looked & sounded excited, saying that he got a taste of it last week and how he can't wait to go to war one last time with the man who hates his guts more than anyone else on the planet, joking that that was saying something. He then said he understood Punk's scepticism though with Vince McMahon giving him another opportunity at the world but the truth of the matter is when they've met something's always happened but how that will all change when they meet inside the steel cage at No Way Out. He continued to say that Vince spoke to him about it and he believes he made the match for the right reasons, namely this time we'll get a fair winner where no one can interfere.

He then promised to do what he's tried to all this time and finally beat CM Punk to go on to Wrestlemania in London, England as the World Heavyweight Champion. That got a mixed response, probably due to the Australian's dislike of the English! Cena though brought up how messed up it's all been with Stephanie McMahon getting involved and how he has a point to prove, mostly to CM Punk that he deserves to be challenging for the world title. He moved on to Punk and talked about what he did to Stephanie two weeks ago, saying it wasn't his place to pass judgment on Punk but called him a coward for putting his hands on a woman and if he has to be the one to punish him it's fine by him. He said that he'll have the chance before Sunday in the main event later on in the six man tag team match. Cena was pumped & ready to go, then said he had to bring up something that happened a few weeks ago when he teamed up with The Undertaker on Raw and accidentally hit him with a steel chair. He was in the middle of apologising when "Break Down The Walls" blasted out and Chris Jericho strolled out to the stage and made his way down to the ring to heat from the crowd.

Jericho picked a microphone off the apron and said that in the six weeks since he left Smackdown to return to Raw nothing's changed, saying it's still all about one person; John Cena. He told Cena that he was still being handed everything on a plate even with Stephanie McMahon & Tazz out of the picture. Jericho quickly moved on to talk about how when Cena receives yet another title opportunity Sunday at No Way Out he will be fighting for the right to challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. He compared it to how Cena doesn't have to fight for the right to challenge, and the time that he did at Survivor Series he lost and still had a title shot at the next pay-per-view. Jericho said he was better off on Raw away from the 'John Cena Show' but he was looking forward to beating Cena in the main event, not as much as becoming the number one contender for the WWE title but still he was relishing the thought of defeating 'the golden boy' in front of Mr. McMahon. The crowd booed but Jericho wasn't bothered in the slightest and said it was inevitable like it is Sunday when he leaves Las Vegas victorious too when he proves he is the best in the world at what he does. He said that Vegas may be the gambling capital of the world but his success was a sure thing, then at Wrestlemania he will become the new WWE Champion.

"The Game" was played through the speakers of the arena and the former WWE Champion, Triple H walked out to the stage with a face like thunder that he's been wearing for a good while now. Once in the ring he cut right to the chase and told Cena & Jericho he didn't care what either had to say or CM Punk for that matter. He said that he's heard how Punk's been complaining about how he's been screwed by his ex-wife. The Game said he's been lucky as he still has his title and that Punk didn't have to defend his title in the Royal Rumble like he had to, and then how Bischoff stole his rematch from him too. He said that Punk's had it easy compared to him but at No Way Out he vowed to be the last man standing and get the rematch he's owed, and told Jericho that there's only one winner, The Game and he'll be the one to go to Wrestlemania to challenge Shawn Michaels. "This Fire Burns" then broke out and the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk strolled out to the stage with Homicide to a mostly negative reaction with some cheers mixed in, and Punk looked in no mood to be messed with. The World Champion told Triple H that this isn't a 2002-2004 episode of Raw which revolved around him talking crap week in week it, it's Smackdown 2009. He then accused Jericho of taking the easy way out in leaving Smackdown for Raw, insisting that he too could've done the easy thing and walked out on what was planned to be the 'John Cena show' but he stayed and won his world title back.

He then let rip and said he was back to square one, that it was a load of crap that he has to face Cena again at No Way Out but that he would beat him by the book this time and put this whole thing to an end if it kills him. Punk admitted his win at the Royal Rumble wasn't the way it was supposed to end but he did what he had to, reminding Cena that even he said Punk was screwed out of the title and that by having Homicide get involved he was just making sure it didn't happen again. Punk refused to apologise and claimed he won't have to after he retains the title by the book on Sunday night, then he'll go on to do what he should, defend the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania. He again tore in to his partners for the night, Jericho & Triple H by saying he couldn't care less about either of them or their problems as the spotlight on the biggest stage of them all will be on him, rightly so as he's the best in the business, the future of the business, the inspiration to make wrestling what it once was because he is without doubt the 'benchmark' everyone will & should be compared to. He saved his last line for Cena and told him he can get his hopes up all he wants, it's his final chance Sunday and it won't end any differently, as when No Way Out comes to an end he'll hear the words, "the winner and still World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk." That got more heat from the crowd as Punk's music hit again and he lifted his title up in to the air defiantly with Homicide alongside him and all eyes from the ring looking up at him with not one of them at all impressed at seeing his smug face looking right back at them.

We got a split screen of The Empire (Wade Barrett & Drew McIntyre with William Regal & Katie Lee) on one side and Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas on the other, both looking fired-up for their semi final match in the tournament to determine the new number one contenders for the tag team titles.

*Commercial Break*

CM Punk & Homicide
were walking through the back, both looking very serious as they walked right in to the path of Mr. McMahon. That only pissed Punk off even more, and The Chairman of the Board didn't do anything to calm the World Heavyweight Champion. He called it a 'nice' speech before the break and said that he couldn't wait for No Way Out to see him & John Cena battle it out one last time inside a steel cage but tried to stress that as much as he wants Cena to win from a personal standpoint after what Punk did to Stephanie two weeks ago, he swore he wasn't going to involve himself in the match in anyway shape or form. He told Punk that he wants to see the true champion prevail, and to ensure that, Homicide won't be allowed ringside Sunday. Homicide was as dead pan as ever, not giving anything away as he stared at Vince, but Punk said it didn't bother him because he wants to prove he's the true champion too more, especially to the man who's turned the business he loved in to the half assed entertainment show it is today. Vince bit his tongue as Punk told him it was about time there was a level playing field, and as much as he shouldn't have to face Cena again and as little as he trusts Vince, there'll be no excuses when he beats Cena this time, which he promises he will. Vince said it's a big promise to make but as far as Homicide was concerned, he wasn't done. He said Homicide impressed him last week in his cage match with Cena and this week he was going to see him in action again against someone who also has a big match like Cena at No Way Out in Christian. Vince told them both that Christian is facing Edge in a TLC match Sunday and tonight Homicide will meet Christian in a warm up of sorts, a tables match. Homicide didn't flinch and Punk told Vince that Homicide loves nothing more than a fight and if he thinks it's a punishment for helping him at the Rumble he's wrong. Punk slapped Homicide on the back and they walked off with Vince turning to watch them, giving the World Champion a very dirty look indeed.

*The Opening Match*
Number One Contender Tournament Semi Final
Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas vs. The Empire w/William Regal & Katie Lee

We got an incredibly competitive contest with Regal & Katie looking on with concern on the outside throughout. Lashley & Haas, referred to by Cole & Striker as Power & Perfection seemed to surprise the British duo, taking them for granted in the early going. They quickly realised they were in a fight and targeted Haas in their attempts to win, but Haas frustrated them greatly, no more so than when he wriggled his way down from Barrett's attempt to hit The Wasteland. As Haas landed on his feet behind the Englishman, he planted Barrett with an Olympic Slam. It was met by a big pop and both men then crawled to their corners and tagged in their respective partners. Lashley came in all guns blazing and came close after hitting a running powerslam on McIntyre. The Scot just got his shoulder up with Barrett standing up on the apron looking concerned. Lashley then sized him up for a spear, bringing a desperate Wade into the ring. He charged at Lashley who turned in time to catch him with a vicious spinebuster. Regal & Katie were panicking as Barrett rolled towards the apron and they went to check on him as McIntyre then clubbed Lashley from behind, then tried for a whip to the corner which was reversed by Lashley. McIntyre's back hit the pads with real force and staggered out into a hellacious spear from Lashley who made the cover, getting the three to put him & Haas one match away from a shot at the tag team titles. The crowd gave them a good reaction too as Barrett sat up looking devastated with Lashley & Haas getting their arms raised looking very satisfied with their night's work but not getting carried away for a second.

Winners: Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas by pinfall.

The WWE Tag Team Champions, Paul London & Brian Kendrick were shown walking through the back heading towards the ring with Kendrick in action after the break!

*Commercial Break*

The Empire
were walking backstage looking frustrated as hell when we heard some clapping. The British quartet stopped and the camera panned to show Paul Burchill, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson & Natalya Neidhart standing there sarcastically clapping their rivals' failure to win before the break. Smith, now out of his ankle boot and walking unaided wound The Empire up, telling them they did a good job out there. Burchill & Wilson piped in, saying it was so unfortunate they're going to miss out on a title shot. They weren't amused at all and Wade Barrett got right in Smith's face and told him that they'd have the last laugh before brushing past him, followed by Drew McIntyre, William Regal & Katie Lee. Smith, Barrett, Wilson & Natalya all laughed & joked amongst themselves with Harry then telling Burchill & TJ that in all seriousness they had a great chance to get a title shot if they won the match later on, just being one match away from it if they did win. Burchill & TJ said they'd get the job done and Harry said he believed they would and they can all go have an Aussie celebration after when they win.

*Match #2*
Brian Kendrick w/Paul London vs. Johnny Devine

Kendrick & London entered the arena to a big pop, very over with the Australian crowd as they charged down to the ring. It was mentioned by Cole that the tag team champions will have had one eye on the previous match and on the second semi final match later on, but Kendrick seemed completely focused on the match. Devine made it a tough contest for him, but when he failed to hit a superplex and was pushed off the top rope, Kendrick was in total command, hitting a double foot stomp. Devine dragged his way back up clutching his stomach, turning into a kick to the gut from Kendrick who followed it up with the Sliced Bread to get the win, much to the appreciation of the Australian fans. London joined him in the ring and raised his hand with the referee, both posing with the titles as Lashley & Haas were shown watching in the back.

Winner: Brian Kendrick by pinfall.

The United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler was standing by with Josh Matthews and Dolph quickly interrupted him to say it was an insult that he didn't have a match Sunday at No Way Out given how much of a roll he's on and how he's the next superstar in the making. Josh piped in and speculated that the reason he may not have a match is that there's still some controversy regarding who would face him given Matt Sydal still has a rematch but he's in action Sunday against Ted DiBiase. Ziggler said he's sick of hearing their names and how he won the title but once No Way Out is out of the way, he can fight Sydal again and put a stop to all the talk about how Sydal should still be United States Champion. He said he doesn't care when the match takes place, all that matters is that when they do meet for his United States title again it'll be the same result. Dolph hoped that Sydal waits until he's 100% ready so he can show the world that he is what he says he is, 'perfection'. At that point, Ted DiBiase walked in, ready for action with his girlfriend, Maryse. Dolph didn't look at all happy to see him and asked him what he wanted. DiBiase told him that as far as his wish about Sydal being 100%, he shouldn't get his hopes up, because when he's done with him at No Way Out, Sydal won't be in any shape to challenge anyone for a long time. Maryse smiled and her boyfriend then grabbed her by the hand to walk out of the shot with his match against Elijah Burke up any moment.

A recap from last week where Ted DiBiase interrupted Matt Sydal's interview in the ring with Michael Cole was shown. It showed how Maryse & Mickie James flew at each other before Sydal tried to pull them apart, leading to DiBiase jumping on the chance to attack him from behind. That was until Elijah Burke, Sydal's friend came to the rescue, ending up in nailing DiBiase with a hard right hand.

*Match #3*
Elijah Burke w/Matt Sydal, Mickie James & Layla vs. Ted DiBiase w/Maryse

Burke was out to do his best man a favour by beating his No Way Out opponent, and Burke's Valentine's Day wedding to Layla was brought up by Cole & Striker. DiBiase though meant business going in to Sunday's match with Sydal watching in his friend's corner. It was a real battle for him, and his girlfriend Maryse tried to help him when he looked in trouble. Both he & Burke were sitting up looking groggy when the beautiful French diva stood up on the apron, but Burke's fiancée quickly went to pull her down, going at it with her on the floor, resulting in a slap from Layla before rolling around on the floor. Mickie & Sydal went across to try & break it up with Ted watching. He stood up and turned in to a hard right hand from Burke and then a forceful whip to the corner. Ted hit the pads chest first and was slumped against them, setting off a pop from the fans as Burke pulled down his knee pads and got ready for the Elijah Express. He charged across the mat with intent, jumped up at DiBiase, but Ted stepped out at the last second, slipped behind Burke and rolled him up, resting his feet on the ropes. The ref was oblivious and counted to three with Ted slipping out of the ring straight away to rescue Maryse as everyone else stopped & looked inside to see Burke sitting up furiously. DiBiase & Maryse just laughed as Sydal, Mickie & Layla slid inside to ask the angry Burke what happened, only to see DiBiase gloating on the ramp, mouthing to Sydal he was next.

Winner: Ted DiBiase by pinfall.

We got a glimpse of the Mexican duo of Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero walking through the back on their looking quite confident before it switched to Paul Burchill & TJ Wilson making the same journey along with Harry Smith & Natalya Neidhart.

*Commercial Break*

'Captain Charisma' Christian
was in his locker room taping up his wrists when there was a knock at the door and Josh Matthews walked in. Josh asked him if he could get a quick word with him and Christian agreed. Josh walked up to him and asked how he felt about competing in a tables match later with Homicide before the TLC match with his brother, Edge at No Way Out on Sunday. Christian said what he had to say was short & sweet, looking way more serious than usual, saying that it wasn't an overstatement, Sunday night is the match of his life. He said it could make his career with Wrestlemania just around the corner and that tonight will be a big help to get him ready. He then said he knew that Edge will be watching but if he came too close like he thought he might, he wasn't going to hold back & wait until Sunday to beat the hell out of him. Josh thanked him for his precious time and wished him luck for later on & Sunday, leaving the determined Canadian to carry on getting ready for his tables match later on.

*Match #4*
Number One Contender Tournament Semi Final
Paul Burchill & TJ Wilson w/Harry Smith & Natalya Neidhart
vs. Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero

Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas were were shown watching in the back as the former champions came up against the determined Mexican duo, referred to by Cole as 'Mexican Royalty'. It was a real battle, and Del Rio & Chavo did a good job of isolating Wilson. The Canadian showed his resilience and when it looked like he had no choice but to tap in Del Rio's deadly rolling am-bar, he somehow fought his way to the ropes. Chavo couldn't believe what he was watching and called for the tag, and he got it. He then tried to put TJ away and failed also, after hitting the Three Amigo's he went up top for the Frog Splash but TJ brought his knees up into Chavo's gut. The crowd loved it and both men rolled across to tag in their partners. Burchill & Del Rio stormed the ring and Burchill gained the initiative, and just as he was about to go for the C4 he had to deal with Chavo running at him. He helped him over the top rope to the floor but The Empire then made their way down the ramp. TJ turned round on the apron and Harry & Natalya walked round to block them off. Burchill walked towards the ropes to watch what was going on, looking furious, giving Del Rio the chance to take advantage by standing up and running the ropes, connecting with a step-up enzuigiri to pick up the huge win for him & Chavo. TJ, Harry & Natalya turned round looking shocked while The Empire looked on laughing from the ramp, pissing The UK/Canada coalition off no end, staring up furiously at them while Chavo & Del Rio celebrated emphatically on the ropes. The Empire then turned to walk back, and they were soon followed by TJ, Harry & Natalya with Burchill too when he shook off the cobwebs, and Chavo then went to get a microphone.

Winners: Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero by pinfall.

Chavo said that he & Alberto were just one win away from becoming the number one contenders for the tag team titles which he promised they will be. Del Rio was handed the stick and he told the audience that they promised themselves and their respective families that they were going to dedicate the titles to them and take them home to Mexico. "Realeza" hit and they continued smiling in to the stands with the fans booing, not that they were bothered at all.

*Commercial Break*

The Empire
were laughing backstage after what they did before the break when Paul Burchill, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson & Natalya Neidhart burst in to the scene absolutely furious. The Empire backed up slightly, caught off guard with Burchill squaring right up to Wade Barrett, breathing heavily and staring right in Wade's eyes. Smith then stepped in front of him and pushed him aside to get in Barrett's face. Wade laughed and asked the cripple what he was going to do, but Harry pointed out that he wasn't on crutches or wearing a protective boot anymore for a reason, he's almost cleared to compete, will be by Sunday once he's spoken to his doctor. Barrett looked confused when Mr. McMahon walked in and asked Harry if he heard him right, if he was ready to return to action. Smith said he was and Vince told him it was good news because it gave him a great idea. Smith asked him what the idea was and the Chairman of the Board told him that it was clear that there are a lot of issues between the two groups, stemming from when The Empire put him on the shelf last year. He then told all involved that based on Smith being cleared to compete he will meet Barrett one-on-one at No Way Out this Sunday with everyone else barred from ringside to avoid a repeat of what just happened. Smith thanked Vince strongly and said it was the best news he's had in ages before Vince walked away. Barrett didn't look happy and Harry told Wade that it's not good news for him as he'll find out Sunday. Smith then turned round with the rest of the UK/Canada coalition looking happy and The Empire not so as they watched their rivals leave.

'The Viper' Randy Orton was lacing up his boots in the locker room when John Cena walked in, not getting much acknowledgment from him. Cena sensed the tension quickly and said that they need to put their history aside tonight with so much at stake for both of them Sunday night. He told The Viper that they both know what they've got to do at No Way Out and tonight they have to work together if they like it or not and they both need to be professional. Cena then said he didn't want any trouble when Orton stood up menacingly. He looked Cena right in the eyes and told him he was right, the last thing Cena wanted was any trouble tonight, especially with him, then told him he'll take care of his business and Cena to take care of his. Cena nodded and Orton sat back down to continue lacing up his boots.

*Match #5*
Mickie James w/Matt Sydal vs. O.D.B.

The Diva's Champion, Beth Phoenix was watching from announce table, getting a close look at her opponent for Sunday night, and O.D.B. was on typical form. Mickie was up for the fight though and came so close to upsetting the number one contender days before her title match with the Chick Kick, only for O.D.B. to get her foot on the rope before the ref could count to three. She then went looking for the Stratusfaction but O.D.B. threw her off her shoulders and down to the mat. She dragged Mickie up and fired her with force into the corner, then ran for a Body Avalanche. Mickie staggered out right into O.D.B's clutches and the BOOM!, a fireman's carry cutter to earn a big win and remain undefeated going into No Way Out and her shot at the slightly concerned looking Diva's Champion sat at the announce table. O.D.B. stood up with a big smirk on her face as Mickie rolled out of the ring under the bottom rope to Sydal. O.D.B. shouted at Justin Roberts to give her a microphone, and after crapping his pants he did with O.D.B. looking right over at The Glamazon.

Winner: O.D.B. by pinfall.

O.D.B. told Beth that she's going to kick her ass bad too Sunday like she just did to Mickie, but not just that, she was going to take that sparkly ass title of hers, not before challenging Beth to get in the ring with her if The Glamazon didn't believe her. Beth picked up her title and walked over to the apron and climbed on, then stopped herself getting in the ring before changing her mind again and stepping through the ropes. O.D.B. stormed at her and hammered away at her, clubbing & then stomping Beth to heat from the Australian crowd. Beth couldn't defend herself and O.D.B. stomped her back out to the floor. She picked the diva's title up and then picked up the microphone again too and looked down at Beth rolling around the floor to say that the title will soon be hers and called Beth a 'bitch'. She then dropped the title on the floor laughing and the music hit to more boos, making it more amusing to O.D.B.

*Commercial Break*

Michael Cole & Matt Striker
went over this Sunday's No Way Out card!

Cole brought up how this match was made earlier on and that according to Harry Smith, he will be cleared to return to action Sunday night against the man that broke his ankle but speculated how true that was and how wise it was against someone as opportunistic as Wade Barrett. Striker agreed with Cole that Smith may be making a mistake but it wasn't surprising given the history between the two groups, and after they both missed out on a rematch for the tag team titles which they both lost because of each other, it ought to be a very physical battle when they lock horns even with everyone else barred from ringside.

Cole moved on to the Raw side of things and the Intercontinental Championship, telling us how this match was added on Raw Monday night after Sheamus cost Mystico & Rey Mysterio the World Tag Team titles and injured Rey in the process a couple of weeks ago. Striker said that Mystico embarrassed an already angry Sheamus Monday night and The Celtic Warrior is not the kind of person you want to get angry, believing that Mystico could be in for a hard night in Las Vegas, although given how he's got under Sheamus's skin, there might be an upset on the cards.

They moved on to the number one contender match to determine who will challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, and after the chaotic ending to Raw the other night and that the WWE Champion will be special guest referee, anything can & probably will happen. Striker thought it was too close to call, especially considering it's an elimination match, mentioning that all four are former WWE Champions and more than capable of being the last man standing. Cole agreed and said it was a match that he was very much looking forward to watching.

Cole then talked about how Beth Phoenix will have her toughest challenge to date as Diva's Champion, and she just found out moments ago how tough it will be when she takes on O.D.B. Striker said that The Glamazon is and has been a great Diva's Champion but there's a real chance her time as champion could be up because O.D.B. has been so impressive and is yet to be defeated on Smackdown.

Cole talked up the inter-promotional match between Matt Sydal & Ted DiBiase and said that Sydal will be bursting to get back in the ring after DiBiase's attack backstage at the Royal Rumble that played a big part in him losing the United States title later that night. He also brought up DiBiase's bitterness to Sydal beating him to the Breakthrough Star of 2008 and he proved earlier he was ready for Sunday night with his victory over Sydal's buddy, Elijah Burke. Striker agreed and said that DiBiase's shown how he can't be trusted and that as much as he hopes Sydal can beat him in Las Vegas, he'll have to have eyes in the back of his head.

Cole hyped up the first TLC match that will be determined by pinfall or submission only when two brothers, Edge & Christian who helped make the match famous collide with Christian still to compete in a few moments in a tables match. Striker said that Christian's match with Homicide may be a good warm up for him but it may also hinder him with his match with Edge just two nights away. Cole also agreed and mentioned how Christian said earlier that this could be the match that makes his career and that he agreed with Captain Charisma 100% but that Edge cannot be underestimated whatsoever given what he's achieved while Christian was away from the company. Striker also said that it could be the making of Christian if he does win but that The Rated-R Superstar will be going all out to make sure his brother doesn't beat him like he did at Summerslam. Cole also said that Edge will do anything to avoid Christian getting the better of him again but all in all it was a match that could go either way and possibly steal the show.

Cole quickly said that as much as Christian & Edge could steal the show, there's no doubt that all eyes will be on what is expected to the final showdown for the World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena & CM Punk inside a steel cage that will finally put an end to the debate of who truly is the undisputed World Champion. Striker said that after everything that's happened between them there needs to be a deserving winner to end it and inside a steel cage it all but guarantees it with so much at stake with the winner likely going to Wrestlemania as the World Champion. Cole added that if Punk wants the respect he so craves he has no choice but to prove he can beat Cena, but inside a steel cage is playing he believed to Cena's strengths as it'll be an all out fight. Striker also thought it would favour Cena but the unpredictability of the steel cage makes it difficult to call aside from one certainty; it's a must see for any WWE fan!

*Match #6*
Tables Match
Christian vs. Homicide

The fans might've been expecting Christian to put Homicide to the sword fairly comfortably like they did with Cena last week, but like last week Homicide showed just how tough a fighter he is. With ladders & chairs also around the ring, he more than matched Christian and looked like he may have kicked some of his teeth out after a facewash. They both struggled trying to get the other through a table, but Christian looked on the verge of doing so after ducking a West Brooklyn Lariat to connect with the Killswitch. The fans were loving it and sensed victory as he dragged Homicide up, struggling with the dead weight before shoving him on to the table. He went up top when Edge came pacing down the ramp to a ton of heat. Christian didn't notice and The Rated-R Superstar jumped on the apron and shoved him off the ropes to even more boos. Edge slipped in the ring with a steel chair picked up from ringside as Christian rolled around on the mat. Homicide came round and stood up off the table, not looking at all happy to see Edge staring right at him. Edge stared back and Homicide reluctantly leaving the ring, allowing Edge to set his sights back on his brother with the chair locked & loaded. He pushed the ref aside and ran at Christian with the chair, swung at him but Christian ducked and turned round to kick him in the gut. He then stole the chair from his brother and drove it into his gut, and then slammed it across his back as Edge slumped forward. With Edge lying on his front in the middle of the ring with the fans going nuts, a light went off above Christian's head and he placed the chair under Edge's face to a monster of a pop. The fans were going crazy as Christian then went to get another chair, then stood above his out-cold brother, staring down intensely at him before hitting the con-chair-to! He continued glaring down at Edge who just lay there spark out with more cheers coming from the crowd. Christian's music hit and he looked up into the crowd looking like a man who means business with his TLC match with Edge just 48 hours away.

Result: No Contest.

*The Main Event*
John Cena, The Undertaker & Randy Orton
vs. CM Punk, Triple H & Chris Jericho
Special Guest Referee: 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels

All six men were bang up for this one and gave it absolutely everything with the WWE Champion keeping control despite some tension mainly with Triple H & Jericho. As we got to the close, CM Punk was fighting to hang on with Cena getting closer to putting him away. He was about to hit the F-U on the man he'll face on Sunday for the world title but Punk countered, landing on his feet and nailing him with a roundhouse kick. Cena fell on his face and Punk dropped too, still feeling the effects of the Cena onslaught. Eventually they both crawled across towards their corners with Cena tagging The Undertaker and Punk reaching up to tag Jericho, but Jericho jumped down off the apron leaving Punk shocked, The Game too. Jericho & Trips had problems getting along with Punk after his comments earlier, and as Jericho made his way to walk back up the ramp with Punk watching, Taker grabbed him by the feet and pulled him away from the ropes. The crowd were right behind him and despite Punk turning & kicking up at him, he reversed an irish whip and ran the ropes himself to hit a running DDT. Punk was in trouble and got caught with a chokeslam, but managed to kick out at two. The World Champion fought back and ducked a flying clothesline, then unleashed some ferocious stiff kicks at Taker's chest, forcing him back to the corner. He climbed up to the second rope and hammered away at Taker, but the phenom countered, shocking Punk by lifting him up in the air and stepping out of the corner to plant him with the Last Ride. The fans were cheering and Taker went for the cover, but The Game hit the ring to break it up, stamping on Taker's head. Michaels got right in Trips' face and Punk rolled out of harm's way to the floor. Orton then stormed the ring and took Triple H down with a clothesline, ending up clotheslining him over the top rope to the floor. He stripped the announce table to another big pop with Cole & Striker shitting themselves in a panic. Orton smashed Trips' head into it and then shoved him on, climbed up himself with Michaels leaving the ring to try & stop Orton. The Viper had none of it and hit an RKO through the table to a huge roar from the Melbourne crowd.

They loved it as Michaels then checked on both Orton & Trips who were barely moving, just as Punk dragged himself back on the apron with a steel chair in hand he got from under the ring. Michaels didn't have a clue, and as Taker was getting back up, Cena turned his head back to the action and tackled Punk in time. Cena then grabbed the chair for himself and lined up Punk, but as he swung it at him, he ducked like he did on Raw two weeks ago with Cena again nailing Taker by mistake with the chair. Taker fell back to the mat with Cena in shock, but he turned to see Punk go for a roundhouse. This time Cena ducked and dropped the chair before sweeping Punk's leg and applying the STFU to another massive pop with some boos too. Punk was screaming out in pain, trying to hold on, not that Cena was the legal man. Michaels turned his head and saw what was going on and slid back in the ring, clearly thinking Cena was the legal man as he tortured Punk. Punk eventually tapped and H.B.K. called for the bell, confusing Cena but he got on with it, getting his hand raised. "My Time is Now" hit and Michaels went back to check on Orton who was moving and Trips who started to open his eyes. Punk rolled out of the ring and Cena posed for the crowd as Taker sat up behind him with a face of fury. As he then stood up glaring at Cena, Cena turned round and realised he might be in trouble. He walked over to Taker and tried to apologise, but Taker had none of it and grabbed him by the throat to chokeslam him down to the mat. The fans loved it and Taker turned to the side, looking at Michaels who was still by the wreckage as Orton & Trips were sitting up, then some boos came from the crowd as Jericho slipped back in the ring unbeknown to Taker. He then turned, confused by the boos, turning into a Codebreaker from the self proclaimed best in the world. A ton of boos broke out as Jericho stared down at Taker, and then towards Michaels as "Break Down The Walls" played. Punk sat up on the floor and looked in the ring to see Jericho standing over Taker, as did H.B.K. as Smackdown came to a close.

Winners: John Cena, The Undertaker & Randy Orton by submission.

Default Re: WWE: A Strong Response

>No Way Out!<

> Harry Smith Back & After Revenge!<

It's been a rough three months for Harry Smith thanks to Wade Barrett & The Empire but tomorrow night at No Way Out he has the chance to get some much craved retribution when he returns to the ring.

Smith had his ankle broken by Barrett and his fellow Brits before he & Paul Burchill were supposed to defend the WWE Tag Team titles against Barrett & Drew McIntyre at Night of Champions. Fortunately Smith & Burchill weren't stripped of the titles and TJ Wilson, Smith's rookie at the time was allowed to defend his title for him. At Night of Champions however, The Empire stole the titles away, and since then the problems between the two groups has escalated, so much so that The Empire lost the titles with an assist going to their British & Canadian rivals.

We learned last night that Smith will be cleared to compete tomorrow night, prompting Mr. McMahon to make a match between he & Barrett with everyone else barred from ringside. Will it be a welcome return for the British Canadian in Las Vegas or will Barrett again find a way to come out on top?
