July 17th: No Mercy in recap form.

RAW recap: 27th August- 16th September

Elimination Chamber: John Cena (c) vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Shane McMahon

27th August: John Cena was looking for a new challenger and he found five. Mr. McMahon was in such a giving mood after winning WarGames the night prior he granted Randy Orton his title shot, as well as his match against Triple H. He added in Bobby Lashley and Shane McMahon to show his domination and he would give either HBK, Flair, Jeff Hardy or Carlito their lucky break in the fatal 4 way the next week. Triple H and John Cena had a dramatic showdown where Lashley laid both men out. Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy and Carlito were all taken out in a brutal manner by Team McMahon as everyone else were banned from physical contact otherwise they would be removed from the match.

3rd September: John Cena teamed up with Triple H to face Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley in the semi-main event. Randy Orton had the match won when Bobby Lashley decimated Orton with a steel chair and gave Cena and Hunter the DQ win. Cena managed to get Lashley up for the F-U but Hunter hit Cena with a steel chair but when he went for his sledgehammer Shane McMahon ran down to the ring and reminded him of the ramifications. After a pep talk backstage Shawn Michaels won the final spot in the Elimination Chamber by getting Ric Flair to lay down for him. Mr. McMahon was incensed to say the least.

10th September:
Mr. McMahon forced Shawn Michaels to run the gauntlet while Ric Flair was handcuffed to the ropes, he fought through Shane McMahon and Bobby Lashley while the stipulation was hardcore rules as Team Flair helped out but his last opponent was Triple H who defeated him after a Pedigree. Hunter teased turning heel but helped Michaels out of the ring. John Cena defeated Snitsky while Randy Orton managed to win a handicap match against Cryme Tyme.

Number #1 Contender’s Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Ric Flair

August 27th:
Vince McMahon begged Ric Flair to quit wrestling after his ‘embarrassing’ loss. This forced Stone Cold Steve Austin to launch an angry outburst, he was suspended until Unforgiven where he could see Flair being taught a lesson. Rob Van Dam would be his opponent if Ric Flair would not be able to win next week.

September 3rd: Ric Flair threw the match to give Shawn Michaels the win which whipped McMahon in to a frenzy and Flair was left bloodied after the match from Rob Van Dam. The match was made for Unforgiven.

September 10th: Ric Flair was left handcuffed to the ropes whilst Shawn Michaels ran his gauntlet. Shawn Michaels fended off an attack from Rob Van Dam and Flair cut an emotional promo stating, no, guaranteeing he would become a 17 time world champion. The stage was set for one of the most anticipated clashes of the year.

Tag Team Match: Carlito and Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. McMahon and Umaga.

August 27th: During an edition of Carlito’s Cabana with Umaga, Estrada returned to back up Umaga and even went as far as spitting in Carlito’s face when Carlito joked with Umaga about eliminating him in 4 minutes. Umaga attacked and savaged Carlito with a new move, the Ganzo Bomb. Mr. McMahon had ridiculed Carlito in front of the world.

September 3rd: Jeff Hardy and Carlito teamed up to take on The Redneck Wrecking Crew (thanks to Mac for the name) and they lost thanks to Shane McMahon swapping the referees and fast counting them. Carlito hit a backcracker on Shane McMahon which forced Vince to get Umaga out who savaged both Carlito and Jeff Hardy. They were forced to go in to the main event still but HBK won after Flair threw the match allowing Michaels to win.

September 10th: Jeff Hardy faced Umaga in a steel cage match and with Hardy grabbing the advantage with hitting a Whisper in the Wind from the top of the steel cage he soon found out the true power of Vince McMahon when he smashed Hardy’s face in to the steel door by swinging it in. This left him easy pickings for Umaga and a Samoan Spike and his new Ganzo Bomb. Carlito attacked Vince McMahon as things got personal and the match was made.

Intercontinental Championship: CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Santino Marella

August 27th: During the RAW draft Santino Marella defeated CM Punk using very cheap tactics to get the win. To his shock CM Punk was drafted to RAW and immediately set after Santino Marella but Marella was embroiled in the Intercontinental Championship picture with Mysterio. Coachman made a #1 contender’s match for next week between Santino and CM Punk. Mysterio and Santino exchanged heated words backstage.

September 3rd: In a very fast paced Santino Marella vs. CM Punk match up, where Mysterio was down for commentary. Marella and Punk brawled to the outside towards the with Mysterio getting involved and forcing a double countout. Coachman announces the triple threat match for Unforgiven.

September 10th: CM Punk, Mysterio and Marella team up to face Booker T, Elijah Burke and Super Crazy. The heels (Marella and Burke) disband their team with Marella and Burke attacking the faces and dragging Super Crazy over Mysterio for the win.

Grudge Match: Booker T vs. Elijah Burke

August 27th: On the 3 hour edition of RAW King Booker was de-crowned by Finlay after losing the night prior. Booker then announced that he went to the streets last night and that the guys there said he let them down and he realised that he could no longer be a king and he dumped Sharmell there and then and became Booker T once again. Sharmell attacked Booker T later on in the show but when Booker T was going to slap her Elijah Burke ran in for the save and announced he was her new lover. Booker T walked off with Burke smiling in the distance.

September 3rd: Burke and Sharmell had their first ‘date’ but Booker T ran in and attacked Burke and they clashed throughout the arena through the entire night with Burke finally getting the upper hand when he throws Booker in to the local river.

September 10th: Burke and Booker were forced to team up but Burke once again got the upper hand on Booker T by attacking him and disbanding his team. They managed to pick up the win but Booker had snapped and hunted down Burke and took his frustrations out on various workers backstage.

Number #1 Contender’s Match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship- Young’s Angels (Chuck Palumbo and Eric Young) vs. The Rednecks (Cade and Murdoch)

A tournament was held throughout RAW and Smackdown for the last 3 weeks before Unforgiven.
8 TEAM TAG TOURNAMENT

1) YOUNG AND PALUMBO VS. 2) CRYME TYME-
Palumbo picked up the win after a Big Boot on Shad
3) DEUCE AND DOMINO VS. 4) CADE AND MURDOCH- After miscommunication from Deuce and Domino; Cade and Murdoch hit the Sweet ‘N Sour for the win.
5) CRAZY AND JUVI VS. 6) HENRY AND CHAVO- Mark Henry decimates Juvi Guerrera allowing Chavo to come in for the win.
7) A-LISTERS VS. 8) NOBLE AND HELMS- In a fantastic contest the A-Listers hit the Snapshot for the win, the win was in dispute after Helms hit the Spike DDT but Dykstra got his foot on the ropes.

SEMIS
1) YOUNG AND PALUMBO VS. 4) HENRY AND CHAVO-
In a highly personal contest Young picked up the win for his team after a Missile Dropkick.
6) CADE AND MURDOCH VS. 7) A-LISTERS- In an unorthodox bout Murdoch picked up the win after a Powerbomb while Dykstra was on the outside of the ring after missing a top rope leg drop.

Undisputed Tag Team Championship: World’s Greatest Tag Team vs. Londrick

August 27th:
The World’s Greatest Tag Team (WGTT) cut a promo saying they were officially the World’s Greatest and appeared in various vignettes through the show in a similar mould to Mr. Perfect’s videos where they were able to do things like Boxing (knocking out Mike Tyson in 5 seconds) Soccer (Scoring from a goal kick) and Baseball (Hitting a home run with one hand tied behind their back) WGTT then turn up but are chased out by John Cena and Rey Mysterio as well as Londrick.

September 3rd: Shelton Benjamin defeated Paul London in a fantastic contest but Benjamin takes it too far after the match and brutally attacks London with his belt. Haas and Benjamin celebrate on the ramp but Brian Kendrick comes from behind and attempts to throw Benjamin off of the ramp but Haas comes from behind and stops him just in time. Pick your Poison announced for next week.

September 10th:
Pick your Poison brings Paul London face to face with Brian Kendrick in an interesting twist. Brian Kendrick picked up the win in a frenetic contest with a Sliced Bread #2. Charlie Haas went one on one with Shelton Benjamin but Benjamin walked out of the ring and started celebrating but whilst the referee went out to retrieve Benjamin Londrick ran to the ring and attacked Haas leaving Benjamin to pin him, thinking he was playing possum.

Women’s Championship Match: Trish Stratus (c) vs. Victoria vs. Beth Phoenix

August 27th:
During a celebration on the 3 hour RAW Beth Phoenix comes out and explains her actions from last night where she attacked Victoria. She wants to dominate the women’s division because they are seen as nothing but eye candy and it is extremely degrading for such a woman with stature like her. Trish tries to remove her from the ring but Beth Phoenix snaps and decimates her with several DDT’s and a superplex from the top rope to the outside. Trish Stratus is a major doubt for Unforgiven.

September 3rd:
Victoria is granted her standard rematch clause against Trish Stratus and Beth Phoenix threatens Coach in to putting her in the match. Victoria announces a proposition for Unforgiven to Phoenix behind closed doors…

September 10th:
In a squash match Phoenix and Victoria defeat Maria and Michelle McCool in record time before Trish hobbles to the ring with a neck brace to support her back but she is attacked once again by Phoenix as Victoria looks on, undecided whether to attack Phoenix or Trish…

Unforgiven this week. Sorry about the double post but there were no replies, I just wanted to get some work up but I don't expect many comments from this part of the RAW recap.

Default Re: Bradley presents - WWE: History Rewritten

I thought I’d leave you with some comments as you’re a great follower of my thread man

At first look, the draft didn’t look too spectacular, but with your top Raw guys heavily involved in the huge Flair/McMahon feud, it’s no wonder that you couldn’t shift them about

With only 3 weeks until Unforgiven, things were always going to seem rushed. The build up to the Elimination Chamber was the main victim of the rush job you had in place. You created a lot of good matches and stare downs, it just all came too quick and the last Raw to me should have seen more interaction between all six men instead of having Cena face Snitsky and Orton face Cryme Time. For me, it just seems like a big match which has no real reason or meaning behind it

The RVD/Flair match had a better build up to it. It obviously has the entire wrestling fans getting behind Flair for one last feel to it for sure, and he will undoubtedly get the shot by beating RVD. The promo at the end of the last Raw seems to indicate that

The tag match has been set up brilliantly I feel. I like the idea of elevating Carlito like this, and as a face too makes it even harder to do. The cage match and the door angle was done well, but there were two minor problems. It’s great to add new moves like The Gonzo Bomb, but what does it look like? There’s no description, and the other problem was with a move. How could Jeff do a whisper in the wind from the top of the cage? That would involve him running and jumping to the top of the cage before leaping back

The IC title match looks sweet, but having Punk lose his debut match on Raw wasn’t a great call. It would have worked better for him to beat Santino and have Santino respond when Punk was drafted. The number one contenders match was destined for a double count out or DQ, which is why Punk needed a win going in to Unforgiven. Santino’s already been on a role and didn’t need the win the week before, even though it was dirty

Burke became Sharmell’s lover overnight? I’m not buying in to that. A build up with a turn at the PPV to give Burke a huge win would have worked a whole lot better. Their feud over the streets makes sense, and you could have had a feud about that for the short time before having Sharmell turn on him as this date on the second week would be a great follow on to the turn at the PPV. It worked as a great follow up to the turn for sure, as did the next week with Booker getting frustrated at everyone

The tag team match is quite a shocker and as much I liked the tournament concept, I think there were better and more deserving teams to be in the final. It does show a lack of good face teams though mate. I thought that this was the title match, forgot about Londrick and Shelton & Haas. It’s been so long since your last show Bradley. 3 tag team matches on one PPV? That’s got to be a record! London & Kendrick having to face each other in Pick Your Poison was different and very creative

The Womens Championship match had a very typically low key build up. The neck brace on Trish is going to be an important part to the match

Looking at the show, it’s ever so typically rammed. I don’t think you need the number one contendership tag team match on there as 8 matches for a 3 hour PPV is a lot, especially considering you have the Elimination Chamber on there that will take up a large portion of the show. Out of the 8 matches, 3 are tag matches and there are only 2 singles matches

WWE Unforgiven
A Raw Only Production

The opening video plays, with the constant battle between McMahon and Flair taking centre stage and with the Elimination Chamber participants imploding in front of our very eyes and the first ever Undisputed Tag Championship defence.
The commentators speculate over who will win the match between Ric Flair and Rob Van Dam and if Ric Flair still has it in him. They also mention the Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Title between Rey Mysterio, Santino Marella and RAW newcomer CM Punk.

Grudge Match: Booker T vs. Elijah Burke

Booker T has been constantly looking at Sharmell, as if to warn what is going to happen is she steps in. Burke gets the advantage in the early going as it seems Booker is distracted by Sharmell. Burke gets Booker in to the corner and unleashes hard shots to the gut of Booker T. Burke blows a kiss to Sharmell before hitting a 4-Up combo, ending with a sickening uppercut to Booker’s face. Burke hooks the arms of Booker T and attempts a delayed suplex but Booker regains momentum and lands on his feet and hits a snap suplex! Booker goes for the cover 1…2…NO! Burke kicks out with ease. Booker looks over to Sharmell and drags her up to the apron by the hair and finally gets to do what he has always wanted to do. He gets her in the ring and sets her up for the Book End but Elijah Burke makes the save with a running tackle, sending Booker to the floor. Burke applies the armbar to Booker T to keep him grounded as Sharmell gets out of the ring. Burke gives Booker a few sneaky knees to the head whilst the referee is occupied before rolling Booker over for the pin 1…2…NO!

Burke shouts at the referee but, being the ‘professional’ he is, drags Booker over to the turnbuckle and lays him on the floor, he goes on top of the turnbuckle and poses to the crowd before leaping through the air and going for the low angled elbow drop but Booker T moves out of the way at the last moment! Booker T tells Burke to get up and after a few seconds he does so and Booker hits him with an hook kick to the face. Booker goes for the Book End but Burke fights out of it with his elbows and rebounds on the ropes and hits a clothesline! Burke picks Booker T up and brings him over to Sharmell, who is now on the apron and Sharmell slaps the taste out of Booker T’s mouth! Booker T stumbles back and Burke rubs salt in the wounds when he kicks Booker in the stomach and hits him with an Axe Kick! Burke taunts for about a good 10 seconds before going for the cover 1…2….NO! Burke can’t believe that Booker kicked out but the 10 seconds he took to taunt might differ with him.

Booker T is gathered on to his feet by Burke and thrown out of the ring. Burke starts to mount a vicious assault on Booker T. Burke throws Booker T in to the steel pole before hitting the back suplex on to the floor! Sharmell gets her stiletto and in shades of Summerslam, attempts to hit Booker but the referee steps in and a struggle ensues, Burke gets involved and his elbow swings back and hits the referee. Sharmell gets on with her job and hits Booker T with the stiletto, busting him open. Burke throws him in to the steel steps, leaving Booker a crumpled mess on the floor. Burke lifts Booker up and hits an Elijah Experience on to the steel steps! Burke rolls Booker T in to the ring but the referee is still not up, in fact he looks like he is out cold so Sharmell fetches a steel chair and gives it to Burke. Burke folds the chair out in the middle of the ring and sets Booker T up for a DDT in to the steel chair but Booker trips Burke up and he falls straight in to Booker’s spinebuster straight on to the steel chair! Booker lifts Burke up as the referee gets in to the ring. Booker attempts the Book End, the whole crowd are cheering him on to hit it but Sharmell goes on to the apron and a spate of boos are heard around the arena. Booker dropkicks Sharmell off of the apron and steams over to Burke who has turned around, facing the crowd and clutching his face. Booker runs in but Burke, who was playing possum, sidesteps and charges in with the Elijah Express, Burke then gazes at Sharmell before smirking and hitting the Elijah Experience. Burke rolls Booker T over with his foot and looks towards the titan tron whilst going for the cover 1…2…3!

Winner: Via Pinfall, Elijah Burke w/ Sharmell!

After the match Burke and Sharmell beat down Booker T, leaving him a bloody mess in the ring and EMT’s have to get him out of the ring on a stretcher after a particularly vicious leg drop from the top rope whilst the chair was placed on Booker’s NECK.

**CUTS TO BACKSTAGE**

Todd Grisham is standing by with John Cena who is looking very intense.

Todd Grisham: Tonight, John, you have to go face to face with other 5 people, all with different motives…

John Cena: (Cuts him off)… but with one goal, this (points to his title) they can fight over each other but none of them will be happy unless they have this and that is why I am one marked man but that is where I thrive Todd. I have gone through TLC’s, Showstoppers, a deranged psychotic, a Last Man Standing match, a fatal 4 way and various other matches and encounters to get where I am today, 3 days away from holding this world title for a whole year. Do you know how many people have done that? Only the greats and if I win I see myself as being unstoppable.

*Mixed Reaction*

Cena: Because when it is all said and done I can guarantee I will be the one the crowd chant for, good or bad, that is all I came in to this business for, the world title is just a bonus but a good bonus at that but I am here to show everyone around the world to never back down, never quit, never show fear in the face of adversity because I am John Cena, Dubya, dubya E Champion.

Intercontinental Title: Rey Mysterio (champion) vs. Santino Marella vs. CM Punk

In what was already a sure fire MOTY candidate in the first 8 minutes these 3 men step it up a gear as we lead in to the latter part of the match. For the most part Mysterio has been battling Santino with Punk getting in decent offense on both men. Mysterio has been thrown out of the ring by Santino but Santino is locked in to the Anaconda Vise in the middle of the ring. Mysterio has suddenly appeared on the top rope and hits a springboard leg drop on CM Punk, his first real offense on Punk in the entire match. Mysterio goes for the pinfall 1…2 easy kick out for Punk there. Mysterio gets Santino in to the corner and attempts a shoulder block but Santino jumps on to the middle rope and Mysterio has to stop in his tracks and Santino goes over the back of Mysterio and looks for a sunset flip but Mysterio holds on and it seems to be a deadlock but Santino rolls over finally but as Santino tries for the powerbomb by grabbing on to Mysterio’s legs but Mysterio counters it himself and rolls out of the powerbomb in to a pinning combination but Santino rolls out but is met with a thunderous Punk strike to the head with his knee. The crowd applauds that spot as Punk goes for the quick cover 1…NO!

Santino aggressively kicks out but as soon as he gets up Mysterio runs at him and attempts a head scissors but Santino catches him and using his shoulders as leverage and scoops him up on to his shoulders and attempts the TKO but Mysterio reverses it in to a canvas shattering DDT! Mysterio leads Santino to the turnbuckle as Punk wisely takes a breather in the other corner. Mysterio drags Santino to the top rope but Santino elbows Mysterio in the chest and goes for the suplex. As soon as Santino is ready for the move Punk grabs Santino by the legs and he hits a powerbomb at the same time as Santino hit a suplex on Mysterio! (See: Vengeance 2006 is you find this impossible) Punk gets to his feet and steadies himself before grabbing Santino and giving him a few knee strikes to the stomach and setting him up for the GTS and it looks like he is about to hit the move but Santino lands on his feet and scoops a surprised Punk up for the TKO and he hits it! Santino cockily covers with a smirk on his face. 1…2…NO! Mysterio broke it up at the last instant as the crowd, and Santino, are in shock.

Santino lunges at Mysterio in an act of stupidity and he shows his inexperience as Mysterio sidesteps and he goes in to the ropes. Mysterio then hits a neckbreaker. Mysterio runs at Punk and uses his legs and bounces up from the waist of Punk and hits his trademark bulldog. Mysterio then goes back over to Santino and picks him up and hits a vertical suplex, then another, surely the 3 Amigos are beckoning but before the third one could be hit Santino bridges and turns around in a tremendous act of strength and hits a bemused Mysterio in the gut. Santino then hits a quick snap suplex before going up to the top rope and bellowing ‘Viva La Raza’ an outpouring of heat comes from every corner of the arena and J.R just burst a blood vessel in the announcing area. Santino feeds off of the heat and goes for the Frog Splash but Mysterio moves! That is the largest pop heard for a while at a RAW event after months of McMahon tyranny and Mysterio dropkicks Santino on to the middle rope. Mysterio hits the 619 with ease! Santino stumbles backwards and Mysterio is going to hit the West Coast Pop but Santino rolls out of the ring and Punk catches Mysterio in mid air and gets him on to his shoulders and hits a G2S! Punk goes for the pin which seems academic 1…2…NO! Santino breaks it up from out of nowhere! Punk gets up and goes for the legs but Santino raises his knee and goes for the TKO near the turnbuckle but Punk goes prone on the turnbuckle and gets on to his feet. Santino turns around and is met by a hefty boot which sends Santino spiraling backwards. Mysterio gets to his feet and with a trademark second win, grabs Santino by the head and runs up the turnbuckle, kicking Punk off and hitting a bulldog. Mysterio feels the electricity pumping through his veins as he goes to the top rope, he looks to the sky and utters a solemn prayer to Eddie before unleashing the Frog Splash! Mysterio goes for the cover 1…2…3!

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio!

Rob Van Dam is looking at the replays of the finish on the monitors from the last match when Maria catches up to him.

Maria: Mr. Van Dam…

Maria looks at him with a blank face.

RVD:What? Oh, it’s you, I suppose you’re here to give me the old generic interview, I am not generic, I am not ‘run of the mill’ I am not ‘average’ I am Mr. Monday Night and I have NOT lost on Pay Per View since my return in May and I don’t intend on ending the streak now. Ric Flair is a washed up has been, he has been for the last 15 godforsaken years. I take the same stance as my boss Mister McMahon, I want to see Flair hang up his boots. What is he dies in the ring? Hell what if I beat him to a bloody pulp tonight so he has 4 systematic heart attacks?

*Major heat*

RVD: Flair is not winning, not ‘Aitch Bee Kay’ not the chops, not the WOOOO! Not the high-flying kiss-stealin’ wheelin-dealin’ son of a gun Ric Flair. No because I am going to win simply for the fact that I am Mr. Monday Night and I am here to stay a hell of a lot longer than Ric Flair.

Mr. McMahon and ‘The Samoan Bulldozer’ Umaga w/ AAE vs. Jeff Hardy and Carlito

Throughout the match Umaga had been dominating until tagging in Vince McMahon who has since been sectioned off from Umaga by the two high flyers who are unleashing some serious payback to their boss- every man’s dream. Jeff Hardy tags Carlito in the corner and Carlito begins shoulder blocking McMahon in the corner as McMahon screams out in pain. AAE gets on to the ring apron to distract the ref but Jeff Hardy gives him a dropkick for his troubles. Umaga rushes the ring and grabs Hardy and Umaga throws Hardy out of the ring and over the top rope completely. Umaga is sent out of the ring as Carlito continues his onslaught on Mr. McMahon. McMahon gets some punches in but Carlito sidesteps him and goes for the backcracker but McMahon holds on to the turnbuckle but Hardy, who is now in his own corner, delivers an elbow straight to the face of McMahon and tags himself in. Carlito hits a Russian Leg Sweep and Hardy follows up with a leg drop. Hardy goes for the cover 1…2…NO! McMahon gets a shoulder up. McMahon tries to reach over to Umaga but Hardy drops him in the middle of the ring and copies his North Carolina native and lets out a massive WOO which insults McMahon to his core. Hardy locks in the Figure Four in the middle of the ring but Umaga runs in and stomps on Jeff Hardy viciously over and over again. Hardy is seriously winded and Umaga drags McMahon over to his corner and tags himself in.

Umaga comes in looking seriously pissed and punts Hardy in the ribs, Hardy begins to bleed from the mouth and this forces the referee to tend to him but Umaga throws the referee out of the way and continues his attack on Hardy. Jeff Hardy is then thrown in to the corner and Umaga hits a running splash on Jeff Hardy and sticks out his thumb and goes for the Samoan Spike but Hardy ducks it and kicks Umaga in the mid section and goes for the Twist of Fate but Umaga scoops him up and hangs Hardy by his legs on the turnbuckle. Umaga then runs at Hardy and hits the Tree of Woe! Hardy’s head snaps viciously back on the turnbuckle. Umaga roars out in triumph and begins his ascent to the top rope. Umaga is about to leap off when Carlito grabs his legs but AAE tries to grab him but is kicked to the floor. Umaga grabs Carlito and tries to choke him out but Carlito hits a shoulder block and Umaga falls back slightly and Jeff Hardy is now up and, with the help of Carlito, hits a Twist of Fate from the top rope to Umaga! McMahon is in complete shock as he enters the ring. McMahon attempts to attack Jeff Hardy but is met with a crossbody from Carlito. Hardy drags his broken body over to Umaga and slowly drops his hand over Umaga for the cover 1…2….NO! Umaga somehow kicks out. The crowd scream out in anger as McMahon slowly gets to his feet and rolls over to his corner. Carlito is already in his corner and Jeff Hardy tags him in the same time as McMahon is tagged in. McMahon surprisingly brings the fight to Carlito as the two grip in the middle of the ring but Carlito battles out and kicks McMahon in the stomach, Carlito then runs off of the ropes and hits a backspring elbow to the face of McMahon. Carlito proceeds to pick McMahon up and puts him in place for the backcracker.

Carlito goes for it but sees Umaga coming and pushes McMahon in to Umaga and McMahon is left crumpled on the floor. Umaga manages to grab Carlito and hit the Samoan Spike. Jeff Hardy runs at Umaga and ducks his clothesline and goes for the Whisper in the Wind but Umaga pushes him off of the turnbuckle. Umaga again drags McMahon over to his own corner and tags himself in. Umaga stalks Carlito and he lifts him and attempts the Samoan Spike once again but Carlito ducks and attempts the Backcracker but Umaga steamrolls him in to the turnbuckle, taking all of the wind out of him. Umaga grabs Carlito and lifts him up and body slams him down to the mat! Umaga lets out a thunderous roar as he lifts Carlito back up. Carlito hits a sneaky drop toehold but Estrada gets on the canvas and as soon as Carlito confronts him Estrada shoves his cigar in to Carlito’s eye! Umaga is back on his feet and he puts Carlito in position for the Ganzo bomb and he hits it! It’s over 1…2…3!

Winners: Mr. McMahon and Umaga via pinfall.

Shane McMahon is in his dad’s office, facing the camera.

Shane McMahon: Wow, what a fantastic performance from that great tag team, destined for greatness. (laughs)

*Heat*

Shane McMahon: I can sense it now, a clean sweep, it is clear that at Cyber Sunday we will see Rob Van Dam vs. Bobby Lashley. Wait a minute? I’m not backing myself? Of course not, I’m only there to make sure Bobby wins and no superstar in that locker room can stop the McMahons achieving domination in this industry, I would love to see anyone who dares try and make an impact by interfering have the balls to stand up to me and Bobby. It’s impossible so I rest my case and I’ll see you on Monday Night RAW with the new World Champion Bobby Lashley!

Number One Contender’s Match for the Undisputed Tag Titles: Cade & Murdoch vs. Young’s Angels (Eric Young and Chuck Palumbo)

Eric Young go up top, not for the first time in this match, as he looks to counter Cade and Murdoch’s smashmouth style. Young leaps off but is caught in mid air and Cade looks to hit a spinebuster but Young reverses it in to a DDT! Young leaps over Murdoch and just manages to tag Palumbo in to the delight of the crowd! Palumbo is revving himself up, looking for the big boot as Murdoch gets to his feet but Murdoch ducks and Palumbo hits Cade instead! Murdoch then kicks Palumbo in the gut and goes for the snap DDT but Palumbo uses his strength to raise him high in the air and the signal for Young to go on to the top rope! Young hits the Air Force Young (missile dropkick) and Palumbo follows that up with an Earth shuddering leg drop. The win is academic here 1…2…NO? Chavo Guerrero and Mark Henry rush in to the ring and the bell starts ringing. Cade drags Murdoch out of the ring as Mark Henry hits the World’s Greatest Slam on Eric Young as the bell constantly rings.

Winner: No Contest

Chavo now grabs a microphone and walks over to Eric Young as Palumbo is also taken out by the Silverback Mark Henry.

Chavo Guerrero You come out here with your crappy bandanas on (Chavo rips the bandana off of Young’s head) and your little motorbike (Chavo kicks the motorbike) and you think you are king of the world, the simple fact is you can’t be a Guerrero, hell you can’t even beat a couple of worn-out overweight red necked hicks who have sex with their mothers.

*Heat*

Guerrero: And before you fans start booing a true legend, a true Guerrero, you should go and look at yourselves in the mirror and ask, am I a Guerrero? The answer is no, I am the Real Guerrero and I am here tonight to make sure things stay the damn real way and are not in some kind of reality where the underdogs always goddamn win! (Chavo kicks Eric Young in the skull several times after every word) You can cheer for this man all you want but the harsh reality is he ain’t winning anything, you can log on to your little websites and moan about how he ain’t winning any titles but it’s because of one reason… me. That is the real reason, because of a real Guerrero, Chavito Guerrero.

An outpouring of heat is heard as the announcers berate his actions for turning the Guerrero name in to mud.

World Women’s Championship: Trish Stratus (c) vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Victoria.

Beth Phoenix has been pretty much dominating the entire contest, using various physical aspects of her game to get the upper hand on her much more experienced, but futile, opponents. Phoenix grabs Victoria by the hair and drags her over in to the corner and knees her several times in the gut before throwing her aside and focuses her attention on Trish’s injured neck which, she, ironically injured. Beth then grabs Trish by the neck and raises her leg and catches her in the face with her heel before hitting a picture perfect suplex and going for the pin. 1…2…NO! Victoria breaks up the pin just in time but that only enrages Phoenix, Beth charges at Victoria but the more experienced Victoria ducks and goes for the Widow’s Peak and puts Beth between her legs (calm down gentlemen!) and lifts her up but Beth shifts the momentum and hits a backdrop instead. Beth smirks and turns around but is hit by the Chick Kick! Out of nowhere her tyranny is stopped in an instant as Trish goes for the cover 1…2…NO! Beth KICKED OUT of the Chick Kick.

Trish holds her head in complete shock and goes for the cover again (as if, by magic, she would be weaker now) but it’s the same result 1…2… but this time Victoria breaks it up. Beth rolls out of the ring as Trish and Victoria have a conversation in the middle of the ring, they both decide to go after Beth and they drag her in to the ring. Trish and Victoria both take turns kicking and punching her before Trish takes her to the top rope, after a brief struggle Trish takes the advantage and hits a superplex to Beth Phoenix. Trish goes for the cover but Victoria instantly drags her away and puts her in the abdominal stretch but Trish forces her in to the corner and smashes her in the mouth with her elbow, Trish then ducks an oncoming Victoria and she then puts Victoria in a head lock and she then goes for the Stratusfaction but Beth Phoenix catches her and Vickie and Beth hit a powerbomb-back suplex combo to Trish Stratus, to the amazement of the crowd who roar in approval. Victoria and Beth lock up in a battle of strengths but it is Beth who ultimately gets the personal victory but Victoria takes a step back and raises herself on the ropes by the turnbuckle and Victoria jumps off but Beth shrugs her off and applies the armbar to Victoria as she jumps down and shoves her to the floor and puts pressure on Victoria by shoving her knee in to Victoria’s cranium.

Victoria cries out in agony in the middle of the ring as Trish is still down. Beth is putting even more pressure on the arm now, to the point of snapping and Victoria can’t do anything about it but out of nowhere Trish runs in and collapses on Beth. Trish punches Beth a few times and finally backs away, exhausted. Trish goes up to the top rope and hits a crossbody on a now standing Phoenix. Trish follows up with the cover 1…2…NO! Beth kicks out. Trish goes back in the corner but she sneakily gets Victoria up and pushes her in to Beth which gains a few laughs from the crowd. Beth swings at Victoria but she ducks and kicks her in the ribs, Victoria then hits an inverted DDT. Victoria senses the end if near and looks over to the crowd and smiles, she sets Beth up for the Widow’s Peak, she lifts her up and executes the move! Victoria is about to drop down when Trish runs in and hits the Chick Kick. Trish gets a mixed reaction as she drops down for the cover 1…2…3!

Winner and still Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus!

Maria is backstage looking for Shawn Michaels, until she finally bashes straight in to him without looking as the camera pans out to a loud pop to show Shawn Michaels.

Shawn Michaels: Hey there, little lady. Nice to meet you once again.

Maria: Uhh… hi. I’m supposed to ask you about your m-m

HBK: Come on sound it out, that’s it m-a-t..

Maria: Match! I’ve got it. So… your match how do you uhh… feel about it?

HBK: Feel about it? Nothing, I couldn’t care less, for the one time in my career, ‘Ol ‘Aitch Bee Kay doesn’t matter for that big title. I’ve talked to him and he knows this is his last shot and I told him I knew he could do it, he’s not the old Nature Boy, he’s changed. He has gone through a dip in confidence but I can give you a good , old one hundred percent guarantee from 'Aitch Bee Kay and that is the winner of this next match will be Ric Flair and I can back that up by quoting from the great man's book... WOOO!

Van Dam gets in a little boy’s face, garnering heat and forcing the little kid to burst in to tears. Flair grabs Van Dam by the hair and slams Van Dam’s chest in to the barricade and Flair then chops up a few times, turning his chest red and throwing Van Dam in to the steel steps, dislodging them. Flair then grabs Van Dam and puts him between his legs and attempts to go for the piledriver but the referee stops him just in time but Flair is adamant he is going to break Van Dam’s neck. Van Dam rolls Flair over with his foot and spits at him before climbing to the top rope. Van Dam soars through the air and attempts the Five Star Frog Splash but Flair moves out of the way at the last instant. Van Dam is dragged to the corner and Flair, dangerously, climbs the turnbuckle.

Flair panders to the crowd but this is a costly mistake for the normally unblemished Flair as Van Dam climbs the top rope with him and they both scuffle on the top rope, trading punch after punch but Van Dam gains the advantage with a kick to the midriff and Van Dam hooks the arms and hits a massive superplex from the top rope! This has to be over 1…2…NO! No? Van Dam just walked away from his own victory as he put Flair’s arm up himself and he goes to the top rope. The referee is pleading with Van Dam to finish it already but as the referee clings on to his arm Van Dam catches him with his elbow, intentional or not he goes about finishing his job and goes to the top turnbuckle for an instant shot at the WWE Champion.
