Finlay v King Booker (If Booker loses he loses the king title): I love that you had Finlay win, and that you have got rid of Booker's rubbish gimmick. I think you will be able to do alot more with him now.

Victoria v Trish v Mickie : I dont like Diva matches, but this one was ok. Was good to see Trish win, as she is one of my favourite diva's.

Cruiserweight Open: This was a nice match, and nice to see Chavo win. Is Mark Henry Chavo's manager? Because that's what it seems like to me.

Number One Contenders Match for the Undisupited Tag Titles: Yes Londrick won, thank you for this result, as I wanted it to happen.
Santino v Rey for the Intercontiental Championship: Rey winning is good, as I dont like Santino Marella, so good choice having Rey win. This match was good and worth reading.

United States Championship Match: Oh man MVP won by DQ. I was hoping Matt Hardy would have won, but your the booker. Anyway nice match, great booking.

Undisupited Tag Title Match: I wasnt too bothered who won this match tbh, as I dont like any of the teams, but I do like WGTT the most out of the two. So thanks for having them win the match.

World Title Match: Yay Taker won . Thanks for doing this as I dont like any of the other superstars in the match, and as you should know im a HUGE Taker fan.

WWE Title Match: Wow a draw, this was a huge result. I think HHH may have lost Momentoum though, but a nice match here. Well done.

The War Games: I loved this math, but Vince winning by DQ? Not too good, as I was hoping for Team Flair to win, but I wasnt suprised at Vince winning by DQ tbh.

Overall: 9/10, you are a great booker, and you have improved loads since you teamed with me, ages ago. Great show, I cant wait for your next PPV.

DH6's SummerSlam Feedback

The opening video package was great, especially since it revolved around Shawn Michaels

Good to start things off with a moderate type match that has high stakes. This may sound odd, but I like your sentence leg. They're not too long, but they're not too short - just in the middle. The match started out slow, but that was expected as well as realistic for these two. A lot of countering, which was good between these two technical wrestlers. I like the fact that there weren't a lot of covers, because that would be realistic between these two, tbh. "Booker hinted at a face turn." That line was very interesting, and it gives me belief that when Booker does lose this match (obvious that he will) and goes back to Booker T, he'll slowly turn into a face. Booker started to take control, which is good considering he's the heel (I think ). The match was fairly back and forth for the most part. Back and forth matches are just as good as WWE Style matches where the face gets control, then the heel for a while, then the face. Sharmell trying to interfere when Booker and Finlay were on the outside was realistic, since if Booker is no longer king, she'll no longer be queen. I'm sure she likes to be queen. Things really opened up with the Houston Hangover, one of my favourite moves in Booker's repertoire. Very descriptive words in your match writing, which enhances it for the reader, such as myself. Thought Booker had the match with his feet on the ropes, but good decision to have the referee spot his feet. Hornswoggle makes an appearance!! A lot of action happened here at once, and it was sort of confusing. Sharmell hits Booker -- which costs him the match! Great finish, and I think Booker will leave Sharmell which would be better for a face turn.

The lime green font is awfully hard to read. I know it suits the SummerSlam colours, but it hurts my eyes. Having the participants sort things out themselves is very unique? Are they just going to have a vote or what? I guess I'll have to wait and find out.

If Maria is still ditzy in your thread, I don't think she would call Orton 'Mr. Orton'. Orton's first sentence was long, bunched together, and confusing, which unfortunately helped set a tone for the interview. The interview got better, but there were several times where there would have been crowd reactions. Is Maria in some state where she gets smart for periodically? Her line really shocked me, as did this interview. I expected more out of Orton, but I guess I was disappointed.

I think the superstar should come out before Lilian Garcia does their introduction, as that makes far more sense. Trish is good as both heel and face, so I can't argue over her heel status. Trish taking a back seat right off the get go was both excellent and realistic. Victoria and Mickie double teaming Trish was good, and it would have gone over well with the fans. Sometimes you would get carried away with your sentences, and they were so long with so many conjunctions that it was extremely confusing. I think if you read it all over you would have noticed your mistakes and fixed them, which definitely would have helped. Trish hitting a cross body isn't exactly like her, and I don't think she should have used it because she's heel and cross bodys help get a good reaction. It became clear that Trish was going to win the match, because Trish got the first four covers in the match up. Definitely some favourtism - Trish should never have dominated like that against Mickie James and Victoria, who have a lot of credibility. Beth Phoenix~! At least this match got somewhat interesting. Trish takes advantage and wins the title. Expected, but we'll see where she goes from here.

Another interview, but whatever. Giving a tag team an interview is somewhat rare, but I like that you're doing it as it's not done often. Not the greatest interview, though. It was too short, and Dykstra didn't even talk at all. I don't have problems with short segments, but I think it would have been better if Dykstra talked to carry on with the interview.

Everyone going after Chavo was pretty good, and Mark Henry trying to protect him was even better. I don't think they would have been able to take out Henry, even with Palumbo's help. Having the eight men pair off in single battles was great, and it's probably the best way to divide them all up. Having pin falls being broken up is awesome and realistic, because chances are a fall will be broken up with so many men in the matchup. Some of the action was really good and exciting, which was reasonable for this type of match. Cruiserweights = Ratings, imo, especially when you throw a bunch of them together in one ring. Thought Young was gonna get it with the Running Big Boot, but having it broken up locked away his chances of leaving with the title. 'Botched Back Suplex' - That was realistic, because wrestlers seem to botch a lot of things, including Funaki. This match went longer than I thought it would, and maybe it was too long for what was necessary. Pretty shocked that Chavo got the win, but I guess every title can't change hands. The finish was okay, but it got some controversy mixed in, which was great.

It seems as if RVD and Lashley are both heel? I like Lashley as heel, but not RVD, but whatever works for your booking plans. As expected, Vince did all of the talking, but I thought everyone else might get in a line or two about getting pumped up or something.

A ladder match is always expected to bring in ratings, however, some ladder matches haven't. It seems as if a lot of the matches on the card involve at least 6 people, which is a little overload. Doing a recap is different, and maybe it's because you didn't have a lot of time? Not really liking Cryme Tyme in a Ladder Match, but they're a creative team and I know that they'll do some pretty unique shizzle. [/ganstaattempt] There wasn't a lot of climbing, which definitely upset me. It would have been better match writing to have more ladder climbing since there's so many men. You definitely wrote a lot for recapping the match, which enhanced it quite a bit. Londrick winning was probably your best choice, but I don't see them winning the titles so soon. It just wouldn't be realistic, though they might go into a feud with the champions.

By the sounds of this interview, Batista is heel. Heel Batista = ratings, tbh, so keep him heel~! Third interview of the night, which isn't too good. Another short interview at that, which didn't help whatsoever.

I'm glad that the video package was short, because this match doesn't deserve a long video package. Why did Santino put his belt on the desk? Didn't make a lot of sense to me, so maybe you can clarify that. A pin so early rarely happens, but it should happen seldomly so I'm glad that it did happen. Santino spits! That could be a really neat tongue twister I'm sorry but the next half of the review is gonna be somewhat short because I don't have much time and just want to get the review posted. You wrote Mysterio and Marella together fairly well, and I think it would be quite interesting to see them battle it out in real life after this match. Mysterio getting the win was great, and pretty much expected at this point. I can see a rematch coming at Unforgiven, but I'm not 100% sure if it will happen.

Another interview~?! Way overboard here with interviews, and having so many makes you look somewhat like a lazy booker. Shawn had great character, and having Austin and The Rock involved was also great. The War Games Match is going to be absolutely fabulous, and I wish I could skip right to it, but of course, I won't. I'm glad that this segment didn't exactly stay as an interview, or else I would be quite angry. Good creativity and thought put into this segment, tbh.

Mr. Kennedy and CM Punk starting out are two excellent choices. I would love to see these two tear it up in a one on one match for about fifteen minutes or so. Don't think Punk should have hit a Bulldog so early, since it is one of his signature moves. The action before the first entrant was great, had good length, and was in good detail. I think this was a good spot for MVP to enter the match, as Punk taking on two heels helps his strength and credibility. The GTS without a cover is somewhat realistic, but not much. Maybe it wasn't the best time to hit it, and Kennedy could have been taken out with a Suplex instead - or something like that. Not alot of action between the next entrant, and maybe not enough. I assume Kane is face, but I could be wrong. Punk is eliminated first? That wasn't the best after he had his credibility built up somewhat. Kane better be face at this point, because 3 heels going at it would be pretty boring. Kennedy being the next to go was the best choice, probably because he had entered first and it would be realistic for him to finally get out of there. Matt Hardy as the last entrant is good, and I can see it coming down to Matt/MVP. Getting Burke out of there was a good move, since he's the weakest in the matchup. Undertaker?! Nope, but obviously someone 'related' to him so to say. This could lead to a future Undertaker/Kane match down the road. Great way to get rid of Kane, because he keeps his credibility, and it would have been hard to eliminate a monster anyways. MVP gets himself disqualified~!! I don't think those are the Gauntlet Match rules, considering you just had Kane get beaten down by a Lead Pipe.

This Video Package shouldn't have even been here, because it was about 20 seconds long and pretty effortless, tbh. The brawling before was not expected, but added for some creative booking. I think these two teams would put on a pretty generic match, so I'm not sure if I would want to see it in real life. However, it's your thread, so put feel free to put them up against each other, because there's no harm in trying it out. Again, watch how long your sentences are getting. WGTT as faces is a good choice, imo, and I like it. WGTT winning the titles is great, and I can see a Triple Threat for the titles down the road with WGTT, Deuce & Domino, and Londrick.

ANOTHER INTERVIEW!!!! Okay, I hate to say this, but you're turning into a lazy booker. This is the fifth interview, which is way too many for a show. It's also showing that you're not creative, when I know that you are. Creativity plz. Could Hassan be the person who attacked Kane? I think it's a swerve, but I'll wait and see.

Yay, not an interview! This segment was pretty good, though the delivery rate wasn't that great. Still enjoyable to read, and a rematch was expected to happen.

This video package was solid, and I assume the blue writing was the lyrics to the song? Brown getting a World Title push is different, but I'll have to see how it's being booked. No way he's walking out with the World Title. I expect Undertaker to do so, but not exactly sure. Edge taking a backseat is realistic, and I can see it happening. The three of them teaming up on Taker in the early going was good. It means that Taker will get back in the ring and clean house, which will build up his credibility as champion. There weren't enough pinning attempts for a Fatal Four Way Match, tbh. A Fatal Four Way should have at least 10 pinning attempts. Yours only had 5, which definitely isn't enough. Undertaker winning is a good booking decision, and I'd rather see him lose the title in a one on one match.

Interview Not even going to comment because there's no point in having another interview.

Video package was pretty meh and short. First ever Triple Threat Last Man Standing Match is great, and should be pretty epic. Wonder if it will be better than the Triple Threat at 'Mania in real life. Having the first few counts fairly short is good, because if they were long, the person getting counted on would have to look weaker for the rest of the match. Orton locks in the Sharpshooter~! I don't think that was very good, and very unlike Orton. That move should only be done by Shawn Michaels, tbh. Or Bret Hart if he returns . "For all of you who just thought we were guaranteed a new champion there go in to the corner and cry because this is Last Man Standing rules and they must be knocked down for 10 seconds" This line wasn't very good. Focus on the match writing please, not your own comments. Don't turn into Szumi . Orton getting up after a Pedigree onto two chairs really surprised me, but it makes him incredibly strong which could lead to a victory for him. Triple H eliminated first! I knew it would be either Triple H or Cena, but I just didn't know which one it was going to be. Triple H helps Cena up? Very unique booking there, and could lead to a future HHH/Orton rivalry. Double countout!! This is going to lead to a future match between the two, no doubt. It will probably happen at Unforgiven, but at this point, it's unknown.

Pointless video package, tbh. I could tell what you were trying to do, but it was pretty much effortless, and it should have been far longer than that. Slacking off on the video packages isn't going to get you anywhere, imo. Having the heel team get the first entrant was realistic, because it will help the face team get some credibility, as if Flair needs it. Still, best booking decision you could do. Austin comes in this early? Not exactly liking it, as I think he should have been the last person to enter. I expect the entrants to be back and forth, but not sure, as I'm not familiar with the War Games Match. I think it would have been better to have some eliminations before everybody entered. Shawn should have entered last than Carlito, as it would have been more epic. Having it come back down to Vince and Flair was great, but Vince wins!!! Huge upset, and the Sledgehammer was an interesting way to do it.

Overall, the show was pretty good. Not as good as I had originally expected, but still pretty good. There were far too many interviews, and I mean far too many. Should only be about 1-3 interviews on a show, and you had around 6 or 7. The show got somewhat better as it went along. Read over your shows, because some of the sentences in your matches were too long and awfully confusing.

Summerslam Review

Looking at all the matches on the card, this seemed to be the right pick to start the show off. It was a very entertaining back and forth match with a lot of counters. Liked Booker hitting the Houston Hangover as it is a pretty awesome move, whether Booker could do it now as he has gotten older I don’t know. Great booking at the end of the match with Booker getting the three only for Finlay to put his feet on the rope, and then Finlay to get the win moments later. Ending was predictable as soon as Finlay put his foot on the ropes on that occasion, but was a good match to start the show off and glad to see that Booker will be (Most likely) returning to his Booker T gimmick as King Booker grew stale.

Firstly the lime green colour is very offputting when reading promos and makes it hard to read. But onto the promo itself, I wasn’t so keen on it. It started off very badly, and then it started to get better and Orton sounded more on character and then promo turned sour again on Maria’s last line. Meh

Women’s match was pretty good for a women’s match, and I am liking that you are using TALENTED divas instead of divas like Ashley or Maria like IRL. Victoria looked very good throughout the match which gave me a feeling that she would lose. Match was going very well and saw some nice spots like the widows peak and moonsault, but the ending was very confusing. Didn’t get the ending with Beth attacking Victoria for just the sake of it. Should lead to a pretty good feud however. Heel Trish taking the belt makes me happy down below, even though it probably would have been better for Mickie to take the title.

Morrison interview was just like the Orton interview in that it was very in and out of character. Would of liked to of seen Dykstra throw in a couple of words aswell though.

Lol at Chimmel not doing the introductions the lazy git. IRL though he would of done the introductions as they would do it for any match no matter how many people are in it. The match itself saw some good and exciting action as you would expect from Cruiserweights. Liked the realism of the match with Funaki botching a back suplex which added something to the match. Ending was a big downer and wasn’t keen on Henry getting involved and dominating everybody. It was good heelish stuff however with Chavo having to use a big fat ape to help him retain the title.

Three promos, all of them having the characters in them being very on and off on character. Also it might aswell be team McMahon v Team HBK in War Games, as there is hardly any mention of Ric Flair and tons of mentions of HBK.

Ladder Match was very enjoyable. I was thinking beforehand that you might make it too spotty, so surprised so that it wasn’t. Was a bit disappointed when I saw “recap” at the top of the match, but was actually a pretty long descriptive recap. Londrick winning was the right way to go and after that match I now expect them to go on and become champions.

Pretty good Batista promo, good to see that you have Batista as a heel as that is the best way to give Batista a bit of character. Another very short interview, and this show is begging for a decent length promo if you know what I mean.

After watching Raw where Santino got pinned after one move by about ten divas, it was very good to see Santino having a PROPER MATCH. Was a very good match and it’s good to see that you have given Santino actual wrestling talent unlike IRL. Though Rey had it after the frog splash so surprised to see Santino kick out. Was hoping for you to give Santino the win, so was annoyed to see Rey win. Was a good ending to the match which kept Santino stronger by having him lose to a roll up out of nowhere, rather than the typical 619/West Coast pop combo. Now Santino is out of IC Title picture, you can now push him to the WWE Title please.

Best promo of the night and good to see a promo which wasn’t short one. Pretty awesome to see HBK, Rock and Austin all in the same promo. Not liking the huge amount of interviews you are having in this show so far.

The first two men in the match were the right choices as they could put on some good action until the third person comes out. MVP and Kane both came out earlier than I thought, I would of expected them two to be kept out till the last two entrants. You made Punk look like a bitch by having Kane sit straight up after the GTS, and good heelish stuff by MVP to get Punk eliminated. Kennedy’s elimination surprised me a lot as I expected him to get to the last two or three. By the way you eliminated Kane it looks like you are having a Kane/Taker feud which is good, but as long as you keep it different and have Kane win since Undertaker always beats Kane. Definatley not a fan of the ending as this match like this should not of ended by DQ, and a dirty win would have been better.

Two tag matches on the same card? Think this match has been put on a bit too late in the card, but good to see that you are using the tag division well. This match didn’t do anything for me and tbh I had no interest in it whatsoever. WGTT winning was good to see and now we should see some pretty awesome matches between WGTT and Londrick.

World Title match was a great match to read as there was always action going on in the ring and was a very fast paced exciting match. The only big complain I have in the match was the table spot, as it is pretty hard to imagine that Edge falling back on Taker would break the table. Liked that you kept Brown looking strong, even though he had no chance at all of winning the belt. Despite the fact that there was always action, I thought the match could have been a lot better if there was a lot more pinning attempts as that is always good to see in matches like this. Undertaker winning was expected as I don’t see him losing the title belt in a match like this, and would be better to see him lose in a big singles match.

Got to say that there has been too many multi man matches in this show. We have had a 6 way, a four way, a three way, tag ladder match, womens title and still have a war games coming up. But it didn’t take anything off the match. Was another great match despite a few unrealistic things like Cena tapping out to the Sharpshooter. Got to say you made Randy Orton look incredibly strong during the match, John Cena IRL strong. Triple H’s elimination made me think that Cena would walk away with the belt, but as disappointing as the ending was it was a good way to keep both him and Orton looking strong by having them both not reach the count of ten. Been too many controversial endings where we haven’t seen a proper winner on this PPV.

Another interview? Anyway the promo was probably the best of the night and did a good hype job for War Games. War Games was a good match but there was quite a few matches on the card which I thought were better like the two title matches. Flair/Vince ending it was predictable even though it sucked seeing the list of other people who were in the match. Wasn’t keen on Vince winning but it keeps the feud going and I expect Flair to get the win back in the future.

Overall the show was very entertaining, the matches were definitely your strong part. However the promos were pretty lacklustre and it was a very unrealistic show with the amount of multi man and gimmick matches. The show definitely got better as it went on, but overall a good PPV.

Thanks for the super awesome reviews I have received in the past few weeks, Kane01 and DH6 are next on my list, I am kind of hoping for one more review before I can post the RAW Preview but here are some news and notes.

Quote:
WWE News and notes
Creative are said to be extremely happy with the finish to the end of the WarGames match and they now feel they have cemented it as one of the main feuds in the WWE right now and it is expected to go on for a few months yet.

Word going round backstage is that Ric Flair has had a heart to heart with Triple H and he says he wants to retire at Survivor Series; at this time Triple H will be pushing Vince to give Flair the biggest match possible for when the WWE go to the UK.

Survivor Series is expected to go on for 3 hours and 45 minutes but there are still several PPV's to go until the big event.

With Unforgiven only 21 days away Vince is pushing for a few big matches to be made Monday night on the 3 hour Draft Special, possibly including the WWE Championship match, which, according to Sky Sports commercial inadvertently leaked in the UK, Randy Orton will feature in but Vince still wants Cena to win to solidify himself but a power struggle is ensuing with HHH pushing for Flair to win the title at some point. The Intercontinental Championship bout for Unforgiven has all but been confirmed as Santino vs. Mysterio III but things can still change at any stage.
In depth analysis, more news and notes and RAW Preview in 3 days or after the next Summerslam review.

I don't get why survivor series would ever go over 3 hours, it never has. Everything else sounds cool, although I think you should hold the Flair retirement till Mania. Only person I ever remember retiring at the survivor series is Lita, so you know, not what Ric needs TBH!

What's wrong with Lita?

I'm glad that you're keeping us updated and going with some news. I agree with sc2004, wait for Flair to retire in the US at WrestleMania, rather than doing it in the UK at Survivor Series. Just isn't fitting, imo.

RAW PREVIEW, 27TH AUGUST 2007
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS TD BANKNORTH GARDEN

WWE DRAFT!
A new era dawns on the WWE tonight in a 3 hour special 24 hours after the spectacular that was Summerslam. Each brand will get 3 random draft picks and one tag team, adding to the Undisputed Tag Team rule where tag teams can only feature on their own weekly show unless scheduled to be on the opposing show. Champions could change brands superstars' rivalries reopened and old partnerships could resurface with the change in brands. Don't miss the action!

YES, THE CHAMP IS STILL HERE!

Last night the Champ managed to regain his title in dubious circumstances when Triple H, who had already been eliminated, got involved in the match and forced a draw via double knockout. Randy Orton is said to be fuming but Cena will be first out Monday Night addressing his home state but Triple H will surely still be in the picture for the WWE Championship

LACK OF FLAIR

Last night, the most brutal, despicable match in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment took place. Blood was shed and both teams left everything in the ring but, while every single member of Team McMahon will be on Monday Night RAW, Ric Flair won't be. He was rushed to hospital last night and he will still be in a medical facility in New Jersey by the time RAW is on air and Stone Cold said in an interview with WWE.com that Ric Flair feels he is done with World Wrestling Entertainment and he is too old for the business. More on the shocking news on RAW!

RAW GETS NEW CHAMPIONS TIMES THREE!

Rey Mysterio, who defeated Santino Marella, will be in action tonight and will want to send a message to any new draftees and Santino Marella himself who is assured a rematch in the near future. When will this rematch be? Only time will tell. The World's Greatest Tag Team are officially the World's Greatest Tag Team but with Londrick in their sights what will they have to say? Beth Phoenix is also rumoured to turn up, face to face with Trish Stratus.
