30th July RAW- Atlanta, Georgia. The McMahon/Flair situation intensified tenfold on the 30th July edition of RAW when Ric Flair was knocked out cold by a vicious attack by Umaga, Shane McMahon and Vince McMahon. Vince made blood pour from the ear of Flair and battered him, sending him to the nearest medical facility but Shawn Michaels, Carlito, Jeff Hardy and Stone Cold made the save and were about to clear house when Rob Van Dam hit the ring with a steel chair in hand. A message started to play and it said that at Saturday Night’s Main Event a new era would dawn on the WWE, the fans were left bemused but all signs point to Christian who apparently was involved in a trade swap with TNA also involving Bobby Lashley but nothing has yet been confirmed. Vince’s team stood tall at the end of the night but another Victory 7:35 message popped up on the screen and it then changed to 7:35 N3w 3ra.
Randy Orton was in action against the Big Show in an eagerly anticipated event which saw both men grab near falls but during the latter stages as Big Show lifted Orton in the air with a chokeslam attempt Orton reversed the move in to an RKO and for his feet on the ropes for the 3 count.
Meanwhile John Cena had to face his one time rival, The Great Khali. Khali managed to apply the Vise Grip halfway through the match but Cena looked Hogan-esque as he battled out of the grip and managed to trap Khali in the STFU but Big Show intervened causing the No Contest and Khali still has only lost four times in his career and his fifth loss may be the one that costs him the most.
Super Crazy returned to injury and put up a spirited fight against Rob Van Dam but he came up just short. Rob Van Dam narrowly missed out on the five star frog splash which cost him as Crazy began to dominate but Crazy slipped up and attempted a moonsault which RVD reversed in to a pinfall for the win.
In other action Vince, Shane and Umaga decimated HBK in 4 minutes in a match where the trio could use any resource they wanted to and HBK had his hands tied behind his back. HBK nearly caused an upset after hitting the McMahon’s with a double dose of Sweet Chin Music but Umaga hit the Samoan Spike for the win.
Santino got a win against Jeff Hardy after a low blow to TKO but after the match Mysterio came out with a steel chair in hand and looked to hit Santino but simply folded up the chair and sat down in front of a floored Santino and told him at Summerslam Santino would show he was a fluke and Mysterio would go all the way to the 619 and back to get the I.C title for the first time.
WGTT defeated the A-Listers after the World’s Greatest Move (T-Bone to German Suplex) to Dykstra. WGTT made it clear they wouldn’t be intimidated by Deuce ‘N Domino.
Also…
Victoria brutally attacked Trish Stratus backstage, trying to get her injured for next week’s tournament match against Beth Phoenix.

Just thought I'd update the thread a little bit before Xmas. SNME Preview up tomorrow BTW and I would like to inform you that during the time I am writing SNME (I haven't had time to begin it yet) I will only review DDMac and no-one else as I need a small break from other writing, PM me if you need comments and I will get as much fitted in as possible by tomorrow.

Wrestling Observer
J.B.L is rumoured to be coming back to wrestling full time in the new year, his return will begin the road to Wrestlemania as he is likely to turn up around Armageddon with Tazz or Styles taking his place in the announcing table.
New Year's Revolution will go ahead this year, an arena has yet to be announced but expect it to be a low key event in St. Louis or in Boston furthering the build to the Royal Rumble.
On to the future, the Undertaker is rumoured to be given the rub on Summerslam but put Cena over on Saturday Night. HHH is also keen to put over Orton at sometime in the future and is keen on a big rivalry with him.
2 big events will take place at SNME, one being the 5th man revealed and another big announcement which will shock wrestling fans.
Two big names are said to be 'tradees' for the draft on the 27th to shake things up, don't be surprised to see champions swap brands.
At Survivor Series a 5 vs. 5 match will take place, the final man will win a world title shot at the Royal Rumble, whoever wins the match is expect to feature heavily in the main event scene running up to Wrestlemania.
Finally, expect some shocking turns before Unforgiven, which has rumoured, according to advertisements, to be headlined by the Elimination Chamber.

SNME PREVIEW The Great Khali vs. Big Show A clash between two titans who have tussled for the past 2 months. Ever since the Great Khali joined the WWE Big Show was waiting in the wings, constantly overshadowed by the 'bigger' giant. When Show took his hiatus last December it was stated that he was too tired. The reason behind this was that he was sick and tired of being the second best and he finally returned in late May and attacked the Great Khali but Khali came out second best. With the men exchanging victories with each other in all different types of matches Show finally got the upper hand and challenged Khali to a match. Khali accepted, on the grounds it was to be a Punjabi Prison match, which Show burned to the ground. At Vengeance Show defeated Khali in a barbed wire steel cage match but Khali still had the edge and when it was announced there would be a loser leaves WWE match on RAW no-one could anticipate the outcome which ended in a no contest after a 15 foot drop for both men left them helpless. Fans around the world knew Big Show was finished as he didn't turn up for the next 2 weeks but Show attacked Khali during his match with John Cena and no the Loser Leaves WWE match has been rescheduled for SNME and is now under no DQ rules and 'there must be a winner.' This isn't for titles, this is for pride and the stakes have never been higher in what should be a brutal encounter.
A SNME Preview for the next selected match will be up on the 26th and one every day after that until SNME is up. Have a great Christmas readers and I hope to see you on the 26th.

Hey, where are the previews man? They were supposed to be up yesterday! I'm looking forward to the show man, you've promised a lot for it. The Cena/Taker match should be great as long as there are no run in's. The Santino/MVP match will be good, just a pity it's two really strong heels in there. DX vs Rated RKO is a great match waiting to happen. Khali/Show should see the back of one of them, pity it can't be both, but there you go. 8 man tag could be interesting and a fun read though
SNME PREVIEW: D-Generation-X vs. Rated RKO The match that never was. The rivalry that should have ended all so long ago, that is, until Orton but Triple H on the shelf for the last 6 months. Triple H came back, vowing revenge, which has led to the parting of DX as Shawn Michaels is busy battling Vince McMahon but they have decided to reunite for one last time, this time with an added incentive. If HHH wins he gets a world title shot against Orton and Cena and if HBK wins he gets a stack of pride to take in to Summerslam. This is the way DX end, will they go out with a bang or a whimper?
MVP vs. Santino
Two men that have led the way through their short careers. Aiming to be the best of the best in their respective brands and for the first time ever these two will face off. New York City surely can't hold their two egos and you can bet on the two exchanging verbal insults before their match but with Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy on the horizon for Santino and MVP respectively, will the two men have all of their focus on the match?
8 man tag- C.M Punk, Kane, Batista and Finlay vs. Brown, Burke, King Booker and Mr. Kennedy (w/ Queen Sharmell and Matt Striker) So many personal rivalries brewing on Smackdown and only one way to showcase them all, a brutal 8 man tag match. Punk, the self proclaimed straight edged assassin, has wanted to shut up Kennedy for a long time, something he can't stand are loud mouth people and he is looking to get his second consecutive pinfall over Kennedy in two big events. Finlay viciously attacked King Booker, sending him to hospital, but Booker returned the favour and these two will face off at Summerslam, if Booker loses he will lose his King Status so everything is on the line tonight. The New Breed also have a score to settle with Kane and Batista, the two bemoths have been wanting to get their hands on the New Breed and this may be the only chance they get. That is, if Batista or Brown become World Heavyweight Champion.
Austin vs. Vince- Steel Cage match. They called it the greatest rivalry of all time. The biggest SOB against his evil boss, for years they battled it out until Austin gave up on wrestling, that was until Umaga, Vince and Shane McMahon mocked Stone Cold on national television, Stone Cold attacked the trio but ended up losing his match at Vengeance against Umaga. After, Austin teamed up with Jeff Hardy, Carlito, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels to battle Vince's tandem, made up of himself, his son Shane, the muscle Umaga and another unkown person. Whoever that person is, Stone Cold needs to be wary of him, whether they are outside the 15 foot steel cage or not.
World Champion vs. World Champion
John Cena vs. Undertaker The biggest match of the century? You may just be right. Two titans of the sport go head to head, not for the first time, but both men have grown since four years ago and it will be an even greater match. Cena has never beaten the Undertaker on PPV but Cena was taught respect by the Undertaker, since then he has shadowed his career, breaking record after record. Cena in undefeated at 'Mania, so is Undertaker. Cena has won or retained a title four years in a row at Wrestlemania, something only matched by Hulk Hogan. Despite the records it all comes down to who is the greatest in the industry and we may found out tonight.

I haven't done a lot of work on SNME but then I found out I mucked up the dates, sending my show plans for RAW and Smackdown in to chaos with all the build up and the fact I had written out half of RAW and the opening bit of SNME has now been heavily edited and SNME will be (in BTB time) 18th August so I hope to fill you in on what happened the week before in recaps in the next few days. Happy new year everyone!

If you received one of my PM's you can probably tell I'm pissed off. To cut a long story short it looks like I have been sold a dud computer. Speakers are shit the and the disk drive isn't fucking working which means I can't install Word or any other writing program because my mum has a freaking paranoia about downloading. I am sounding like a damn broken record but SNME won't be up for a while now. I hope the long, long wait will whet your appetite for Summerslam. I want to write SNME because I am loving the card and there are so many things that can help my booking by writing the event. It's like a warm up to the Olympics for me so it benefits me a lot. I will probably give you an update in around a week. I know this is making me look like a bad booker with 3 posts in a row but what can you do? I haven't posted anything worth commenting on so I don't really expect a comment. I hope this gets commented on and I hope to finish SNME by the 24th (2 weeks) and I hope to finish RAW and Smackdown by the 16th Feb with Summerslam being finished around the 28th Feb and Unforgiven I would like to be posted around 'Mania time in real life so that is VERY near my Birthday then I can take a few weeks off to continue the build to No Mercy!

You won't believe what I forgot to do! I forgot to save all of my weekly show plans and PPV cards to my USB after I got rid of my old computer, it looks like I'm going to have to make some again. I am going to post the current SS card.
So basically I have 8 matches to be announced by SNME and the two shows following it. Due to mixups and the like the shows will feel very chopped up and matches randomly announced but I need to fit them in.
