I have decided to skip to the GAB to save a heap of time, I will write a brief recap on all the main RAW and Smackdown storylines soon and post the GAB card and preview in full. I will need a few comments to break things up first.
Na, more like time. Will post the raw recapped storylines tomorrow and possibly Smackdown then as well. Will leave to post reviews to kOm, Boogey etc and then post the GAB preview.
Also just a quick news and notes session.
WWE NEWS AND NOTES:
Summerslam is going to be 4 hours with massive matches in the pipeline, possibly Flair/McMahon, HBK/RVD and HHH/Orton but plans can change at any minute.
Opening segment - Orton seemed a bit, how can I put this, unorganised here as one minute his focus was pure on DX, only for it to go to Cena completely instead. Really I would have liked a little more from this promo, as to kick off the show it left things a little damp.
Triple Threat - Wow, this match definetly came out better than I expected. The three team (I think, lost count) interference gave a really nice breath of fresh air, and from what the pieces put together, maybe a unity of the Tag belts? Very well put together, and a nice match to start off with.
Vince segment - Vince started very out of the blue and random, bragging rather than giving us something new to say. Flair definetly livened things up though. His promise of numerous championship reigns (even though he could do it himself) sounded great for the future fued, and you've seemed to have built this slowly and accurately. Kudo's.
Umaga/HBK - A bit over the top at times, despite being entertaining. Why HBK needed three SCM's when one would have won him the match, I'll never know. Why RVD needed to bring down chairs like some sort of ringside assistant rather than take them from ringside anyway, I'll never know. Still for what it was worth, it'd have been enjoyable to see.
Carlito segment - Interesting angle running here, with a little "whodunnit" going on. Having Flair there as soon as the camera opens up may point the finger a little too much at him, but hey, I suppose you'll do your bit to point the finger away in time.
...The rest - I can understand your frustration at losing material man, happens to the best of us. Still worth the brief comments though. Tag match looks decent enough storyline advancement. The loser leaves match was a good idea, and the fact that it ended a no contest was a great little swerve. Hope it means a rematch though and not both going, as that'd be a cheap way to go out. And the main event seemed well thought out, so I can only hope for more of the same.
Just to let everyone know that RAW and Smackdown storylines until GAB up tomorrow, the card is up in my sig and preview up Sunday and then GAB is scheduled for 21st October.
CENA VS. ORTON-
The rematch finally went ahead, the end came when Orton's dad came to the ring and tried to hit Cena with his cast while the referee was down but Cena knocked him off of the apron. Cena F-U'ed Orton to the outside but Bob Orton took his son backstage and a mass brawl occured, Orton won the brawl with an RKO on to a car. The two Ortons laughed as the show went off air.
BIG SHOW AND MYSTERIO VS. NITRO AND DYKSTRA.
Mysterio tried to find a partner and wound up with Big Show, Show dominated most of the match with his partner but suddenly Khali storms the ring and hits the Chop/Claw combination to knock out both Mysterio and Show, The A-Listers hit the Snapshot for the win. Khali announces at SNME Show/Khali Loser leaves WWE NO DQ
CARLITO AND FLAIR VS. THE MCMAHONS
A massive match that was riddled with interruptions from half of the locker room on behalf of Vince. At the end Carlito hit the Backcracker on Shane and Flair had McMahon in a figure four but the referee was pulled out of the ring by Umaga, two Samoan Spikes later and the match was over. Afterwards Vince said that he would clean his hands of his little 3 man army in a 5 on 3 War Games match at Summerslam! Flair said 'See you there'
HBK AND HARDY VS. RVD AND UMAGA
Hardy has had trouble finding partners and he hasn't gelled with anyone yet. He nearly had the match won with HBK hitting the Elbow Drop on RVD and Hardy going up for the Swanton but he misses and Umaga picks up the win for his team.
DOMINO VS. HAAS
A high paced match ends in miscommunication between the WGTT and a cheating Deuce hitting the Smack in Da Mouth to help his teammate to an invaluable win. Afterwards they say they are the greatest team of all time.
Other notes~ Austin accepts Vince/Austin at SNME
Victoria will defend title at Summerslam.
Santino cuts a promo on how he is the Great One of the industry.
A Novictory promo airs, finishing with the words, Destruction precedes.... hell
RAW JULY 16TH
FLAIR VS. ORTON (#1 CONTENDERSHIP)
Orton def. Flair after inteference from Vince. HBK fights off Vince and announces its 5 on 4 at Summerslam. HBK and HHH cut a promo saying at SNME DX will reform for their last ever match, they don't want their children to see a bad example on TV. DX vs. RVD/Orton
CENA VS. HHH
ENDING- HHH hits the Pedigree cleanly after Bob Orton distracts HHH, HHH motions he wants the title and Coach comes out saying he must win his SNME match to gain entry to the biggest party of the Summer.
HARDY AND CARLITO VS. SHANE AND RVD
Ending- Shane is hit with a backcracker and Hardy hits a Swanton Bomb on RVD for the pinfall. Hardy seems happy and Carlito announces he has found the 5th and final... cool member. Who is Vince's no. 5?
HBK VS. VINCE
A rematch from 'Mania 22 which doesn't go ahead after HBK has been taken out (this was the scheduled main event) Vince then announced Cena/HHH non title main event.
WGTT VS. REDNECKS
ENDING- WGTT hit the World's Greatest finisher (Swinging neckbreaker by Haas to top rope splash from Benjamin) on Murdoch for the win.
SANTINO VS. BIG SHOW (I.C TITLE)
Santino grabs the win after hitting Show with brass knucks but Mysterio snaps and attacks Santino and demands a rematch, whilst holding a steel chair to him, Santino reluctantly accepts.
WWE Champion John Cenavs.World Heavyweight Champion Edge or Undertaker (Champions collide)
I.C Champion Santinovs.U.S Champion Matt Hardy or MVP (champions collide)
DX vs. Orton and RVD (Last time ever, if HHH wins he is in main event at Summerslam)
Austin vs. Vince (Steel cage)
Show vs. Khali (Loser leaves WWE NO DQ)
War Games match: Vince, Shane, Umaga, RVD and ??? vs. Flair, J. Hardy, Carlito,HBK and Austin
WWE Championship: Orton vs. Cena (vs. HHH if he wins at SNME)
Thanks for the comments, I have decided against posting the Smackdown storylines because, simply, you will see what has happened in the GAB preview to start the feuds etc, it is a VERY good card for my first Smackdown only PPV. Thanks for the Summerslam comment, I am trying to make that match one of the biggest seen in BTB, the biggest twist is yet to come....

Re: Bradley presents - WWE: History Rewritten
My Predictions
Edge over Taker as dirty as possible as i don't see a title change
MVP/Matt is a close one, so at a toss up - MVP
Tag Titles is difficult too, but i'll go for London & Kendrick
Chavo over Eric Young, again dirty as possible. A Young win wouldn't be a huge shock though
Kane & Batista i don't see losing on a PPV, but i like The New Breed since they debuted on Smackdown, so there may be a shock here. I just don't see Batista & Kane's reputation taking a knock which would happen with a loss here
Kennedy should beat Punk as much as i hate to say it. This could be a real good feud if you give Kennedy a cheap win and Punk comes back for more, helping push Punk in the process
Finlay/Booker is a toss up too, but i think Booker will be another one to pull out a cheap win
Looks like a good show Bradders, some very difficult matches to call, but Punk/Kennedy, Taker/Edge, Matt/MVP are huge! I will be reading
