Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

JAEíS ENSLAVED REVIEW

The show opened quite well, the opening commentating was weak though and didnít quite flow like it should, but not a problem, no one cares about the commentating these days, heh. I advise for you to get Heyman off commentary and sign a proper one, it will be unusual whenever he makes an announcement and all.

I donít think you needed a commercial break to cut off the match, those happen every twenty minutes or so, just wanted to point that out. Very nice match, Aries clearly dominated the last minutes of the match, with the fan favourite of the match picking up the victory. All three guys have a lot of potential, it will be interesting to see how you use them throughout the course of the shows.

This promo was short, but good, it did all it needed to do, it hyped the main event for Rhyno. I have absolutely no idea who the opponent is going to be, so Iíll be surprised when we get there. I expect something worth reading though, as I, along with many others, hate it when people make something a mystery and disappoint with something bad.

Well that was fast, and shocking! Samoa Joe in this company is definitely a plus, I think this guy is going to go over Rhyno, and many others in the shows to come. I wonder if you are going to give him an undefeated streak. Argh, I keep getting corrected, I guess Samoa Joe could still win in a triple threat, I thought he was the mystery opponent. For Peteís Sake, I got corrected again! Sad to see Joe not get in the match, but what a match we have set now, against Jericho!

I saw this as a major squash and didnít like it at all, but the win for Jericho really surprised me. I still think he shouldíve had more offense in the match, as his credibility was decreased by just winning with a roll up. Nice run in by Christian to stop that brutal attack from Joe, here are some predictions for future matches. Christian versus Joe, Joe will win it, Rhyno vs Joe, maybe at a Pay Per View event?

I didnít read the first show, but it seems Rhyno Gored a member of LAX, and did it again tonight! A feud? I dunno, doesnít really appeal to me that much. Whoo, Brock Lesnar in the house! Two big debuts tonight, which can serve to be bad in the realism section, but yeah, an excellent addition to the roster. I am definite this guy is winning this bout.

First off, I like it how you are making the main event long. Rhyno had a lot of control in this, I didnít really think he would since Lesnar has the big power advantage. Wow, Rhyno seems like the biggest guy in EPW right now, he beat Lesnar with three Gores, which gave Lesnar a lot of credit, but I wouldíve liked to see the new superstar win it.

Overall, a good show, Iím guessing it is a one hour show. Length of matches, not a problem, promos, fine for a show of this length, a few surprised with match results, which is actually good. Unpredictable things in matches always capture the reader, so good job with that, although normally itís up to the reader whoís guessing the winner, heh. 8/10

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

A very well written backstory and first two shows.

In some ways the first show was dissapointing, with it only having one match. But then again, I love it who your slowly building up the roster and keeping us guessing who is going to appear next.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

Excellent backstory and I'm loving the episodes as is! Very original with how you;ve withheld the roster and everything. I was surprized to see Rhino beat Lesnar and run over LAX like he did, but I like to see Rhino get the credit he deserves as he's underated in my opinion. And Lesnar came out looking strong needing 3 Gores to be taken out. And to be honest I think you should keep Heyman on commentary!

Heyman will be gone in a few shows, I don't like having him on there. I've done the first 6 shows or so, and I have to say, after reading someone elses btb that's just launched (not yours), it's gonna look like i've just copied them with my choice, when i wrote it a few weeks ago.

Without sounding up myself, I was actually really happy with how that promo turned out. I only wanted it to be short and to the point, as i feel that's when Rhyno's at his best in promos.

I know Jericho v Joe came off as a squash, but I wanted Joe to look strong dispite his loss, and I wanted it to look like that Jericho would go lengths to beat him. ie. cheating. I definitely have big plans for Joe, but there won't be an undefeated streak to kick him off.

Rhyno gored Hernandez twice and Konnan last week. No feud between him and LAX though, that was just more of a revenge type thing, I dare say it'll probably be forgotton now. I realise two big debuts is a big call in the realism, but they're not two people who were both signed to exclusive WWE/TNA contracts, so I figured I can get away with it.

I honestly wrote this about 3 times. All with different endings. I thought about a few different finishes. I wanted to find the best way to make both men look credible, but my immediate plans are bigger for Rhyno then for Lesnar, so I thought I'd end it like that. I was nearly going to have Lesnar steal the win, but I want him to look like a dominate type heel, more than the cheating type, and plus I'd already had one cheating victory in the show.

Yeah mate, it's a one hour show. Glad to see you had a look and did what you said you would, so that's a big plus in my book and apparently I need to rep some other people before I rep you again. lol.

Wow, you just reviewed my review
Well, I like how you are focusing on certain wrestlers, like Rhyno and Samoa Joe, but remember not to give anything away or anything. Expect a review for the next show also man. You're doing well.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

The following is from PWInsider:

Quote:
The debut of Samoa Joe in EPW last night was a shock to everyone, especially TNA officials. Joe's contract with TNA states that it allows him to work for anyone else as long as his name isn't Vince McMahon and it doesn't interfer with his TNA commitments. TNA were said to be extremely shocked when they found out Joe debuted in EPW.

Apparently this is just the boiling point of backstage issues that Joe has had in TNA recently, and his next step will be ripping up his TNA contract.

Brock Lesnar's debut was kept tight-lipped last night and it's believed only a few people within EPW even knew who it was prior to the show, as they didn't want to ruin the idea. Paul Heyman was reportedly keen for Lesnar to go over against Rhyno in a screwjob finish, with both still looking strong, but Lesnar said he would rather lose but make Rhyno fight to do it.

Shannon Moore and Shawn Daivari were both released from the WWE this week. It's believed that Heyman is keen on bringing Daivari into EPW, and he would also be open to Moore's inclusion.

Rumours are afloat that the CW Network has told Paul Heyman to produce a PPV by the end of June, so they can see how well it sells and they can make a decision by the end of July as to whether they will continue to air Enslaved.

In other news, it was confirmed on TNA's official Website that they have parted ways with James Storm and Chris Harris from the company. They have both been issued with 90day no complete causes.

You can also expected Rob Van Dam to go over Chris Benoit and Batista in a number 1 contenders match on Raw this week, it is believed that RVD is a priority for the WWE now, and they don't want to lose him. Expect him to win the WWE title at either Wrestlemania or Backlash, as an incentive for him to sign a new contract with the company, amidst speculation he would sign with EPW.
The following is from EPW.com

Quote:
Evolution Pro Wrestling is pleased to announce the signing of Shawn Daivari.

Further to this we are also pleased to announce the long-term EXCLUSIVE signings of Chris Jericho, Terry Gerin (Rhyno) and Brock Lesnar.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

Enslaved Preview:

Last week on EPWís Enslaved, Samoa Joe made an unexpected debut in the Hammerstein Ballroom. He came out running his mouth off, saying that he would wrestle Rhyno that night instead of his scheduled mystery opponent. Paul Heyman intervened; making it clear to Joe that he runs the show and not Joe. Heyman then told Joe since he was so keen to start his legacy in EPW; he can start it with another opponent, Chris Jericho.

Jericho defeated the Samoan Submission Machine with a roll up pin, but after the match, it was Joe who had the last word, beating the living hell out of Jericho, Christian Cage then came out to make the save and run off Joe and in the process he challenged Joe to a match, tune into Enslaved this week to see Joe v Christian LIVE!

Also we will see the tag team of Homicide and Hernandez from LAX in action against Bryan Danielson and Austin Aries.

Following his debut loss last week as Rhynoís mystery opponent, how will Brock Lesnar bounce back this week?

This week will also bring about the debut of Chris Jerichoís Highlight Reel in EPW with his guest, Rhyno!

Tune in on Wednesday night, the 14th of February for EPW: Enslaved LIVE from the Hammerstein Ballroom on the CW Network!

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

IAmLegend's Review

Opening: The opening was good, and for the majority it was strong. However, at some points the commentary wasn't quite up to it. I'm sure if you really need to have Heyman there.

Homicide v Austin Aries v Bryan Danielson: Interesting opening match up here with the crowd favourite picking up the win. I'm curious to see where you will with these three.

Rhino Promo: This was a very good promo, nicely hyping the Main Event. I'm extremely curious to find out who his opponent will be. With this hype though, it's almost guaranteed to be good.

Samoa Joe Promo and Samoa Joe vs. Jericho:I thought that Samoa Joe was going to be Rhino's opponent, then I thought that it was Jericho. Nice to see Y2J pick up the win here, as I feared that you might make him seem weak against Joe. There was a danger of it becoming a squash match but you seemed to evade that. Who is facing Rhino? Hmmmmm...

Christian: Good to see Christian in there helping Y2J.

Rhino Segment: Hell of a way to start off with Rhino Goring LAX. Those guys are pathetic in my opinion, and it's good that you had Rhino take them out. Wow, Brock Lesnar making an appearance is certainly what I would call interesting.

Rhino vs. Brock Lesnar: This was very good Main Event. Neither man looked weak here and I was pleased to see Rhino pick up the win. Lesnar didn't look weak at all though, especially as it took three Gores to finally put him down, something I don't think has ever happened. Great match!

Overall: Good show. I'm enjoying your original approach, as it's refreshing. Your booking seems to be spot on. I still think you should 'sign' some more wrestlers to boost your numbers. Length, spelling and grammar all seem fine. 8 out of 10 - Keep it up!

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.

PARANoIR's Enslaved Review

Homicide/Aries/Danielson- Oohh! ROH wrestlers. I would be like, on fire if I actually saw this match in person. Anyways, great opening match, definitely got the crowd going for the show. Aries picks up the win with a 450, I was hoping for Danielson though.

Rhyno Promo- Short and effective to hype up his match, wonder who his opponent could be?

OMGSH it's Samoa Joe. Seems like you're bringing in alot of wrestlers from TNA & ROH. Cool.

Jericho/Joe- Two different styles wrestling. Cool. Ouch, Jericho must've like got squat my that Senton. Slow count... Roll up from Jericho! Jericho picks up the win out of nowhere.

Hmm, Christians out. Two former TNA wrestlers. Joe vs Christian next week, awesome.

Rhynos out for the main event, but LAX comes out. And get their asses kicked.

Main Event- It's Brock Lesnar! Gore by Rhyno, but Lesnar kicks out! Another gore. 1...2.. another kickout! Whoa.. He powerbombs Lesnar. Anyways kick out... again. Another gore for 3.

Overall 7.5/10 pretty good could use some more length. Review mine it's somewhere arond the 7th page.

Respected Wrestlers: Randy Orton, Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Umaga, CM Punk, Sabu, Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, Edge, Gregory Helms, Mr. Kennedy, Finlay, Johnny Nitro, Undertaker, Shane McMahon, Christian Cage, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, AMW.

Wrestlers I Despise: King Booker, John Cena, Batista, Bobby Lashley, REY MYSTERIO, Cade and Murdoch, MVP, Mike Knox, Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Scott Steiner, Eugene, Great Khali, Daivari, The Boogeyman, Vito.
