Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
The CRUNK IN YO SYSTEM Review:
~I had no problem with Foley opening the show with his promo. I thought it was a good promo, as Foley is always great behind the mic. I like how he ran down everything he did in the business, and ran Danielson down for not even coming close to those accomplishments. However, Foley's deal with Danielson makes it pretty obvious that there will be some kind of Danielson involvement in Foley's match with Brock Lesnar later tonight. Other than that, good work.
~RVD V. Monty Brown seemed like a squash. I wonder where you're going with the Lesnar/RVD feud now that RVD is in the Pain Chamber? This further points to the fact that Lesnar has to win tonight, one so Foley can face Danielson, and two so RVD and Lesnar can be in the same match and contiue their feud. Nice touch having RVD address the crowd and Edge after the match.
~No complaints about the Joe promo. He seemed in character, showing no fear, yet intent on facing Heyman's challenge for him.
~I like Rhino going over here, and how you continued Christian/Hasaan. I'd really like to see some mic work though. Perhaps an explaination from Hassan for his actions last week. The match will be great, but the real gold in the Hasaan/Cage feud will be the mic work IMO. Good move having Rhino move to the chamber.
~Noble coming for the cruiserweight title is a good move. It would have been a crime if you hadn't included something with he and Aries after the last show where Noble ranted and raved about never getting an opportunity. Punk promo seemed kinda generic, but it did set up a match for next week and set up Punk as a fighting champion.
~I don't think I've ever seen a bradning iron match, but with Funk, Joe, and a brutal stipulation I'm not sure you can go wrong.
~AJ/Shelton was exciting. A personal dream match of mine actually. I felt you used both men well and put on an exciting, back and forth contest. Good stuff.
~Pretty generic LAX hype promo, but a LAX/Strong & Shelley match should be great. I also like the furthering of Hasaan/Cage with Hassan and Davari looking all over for him.
~The main event was predictable, but good. Foley and Lesnar had a better match than I thought they would, and Foley is free to take on Danielson at the PPV.
OVERALL: Last week's show seemed better IMO. This one seemed sort of scattered. Every promo served its purpose, some seemed a little generic, but they were still important. The match were good, especially AJ/Benjamin and Foley/Lesnar. Storyline progression was good, I thought you could have done more with a couple of them, but what you did was ok. 6.5/10

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Thanks for the reviews everyone. I'm still very pleased with the amount of feedback I've been recieving and I'm very appreciative of that. Another recap, purely for the basis of progressing and move forwards, past this PPV. This is the second last recap, after that, most shows will be in FULL!
Enslaved Recap: 21st November 2007
Hammerstein Ballroom
The boss, Paul Heyman opens the show to a big ovation and firstly reminds the fans that next week Enslaved “goes Canadian” as we head to Toronto! He then informs the Hammerstein faithful that tonight is going to be a “Contenders night”. The first three matches on the card this evening will crown challengers to the three remaining Championship belts at Forsaken. He announces we’ll have a Triple Threat Match between Monty Brown, Muhammad Hassan and The Sandman (LOL, yes, I know he got killed last week. No other options tbh) to determine a challenger for CM Punk’s Pacific Championship. Roderick Strong and Alex Shelly will take on Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, the winner will take on Homicide and Hernandez at Forsaken for the EPW Tag Titles and the opening match on the card will be a 6 man tag team match and each member of the winning team will earn themselves a place in a Fatal Fourway for the Cruiserweight Championship at Forsaken. He finishes by saying that we’ll have to wait until after the break to find out just who the competitors are in this match.
Commercial
Match 1
Six Man Tag; Each member of winning team earns place in a Fatal Fourway for Cruiserweight Championship.
Jamie Noble, Petey Williams & Kid Kash v Bryan Danielson, Sonjay Dutt & Billy Kidman
Before the match commenced, Austin Aries made his way down to ringside with the Cruiserweight Championship around his waist, attracting particular attention from Jamie Noble (who was notably objective to having to be involved in this match when he thinks he should just be handed a shot at the CW Title) and Bryan Danielson, while the commentators make note of the awkward situation this has put Jamie Noble and Petey Williams in, following what went down last week. The six talented Cruiserweight’s light up the ring with some spectacular moves while neither team seemed to garner the upper hand at any given stage. Jamie Noble and Sonjay Dutt currently occupy the ring as the legal men, trading right hands and stiff kicks until Noble over powers Sonjay and quickly whips him into the ropes but Dutt holds on to the top, halting his momentum only to be met by a charging Jamie Noble whom he takes down with a drop toe hold, leaving him on his knees, hung up on the middle rope. Sonjay wastes no time, bouncing off the parallel ropes and shooting back, nailing the BOMBAY BOOM! (619 for the WWE faithful). The fans pop as Sonjay plays up to them big time and he looks to make the cover but the attention is quickly taken away from the match when MICK FOLEY rushes down to ringside and pulls Bryan Danielson off the apron and sends him reeling into the steel ring steps! The fans chant for Foley as he brings Danielson back to his feet and starts plugging away with continuous right hand blows, sending the American Dragon backward up the aisle. The attention then focuses back in the ring as Sonjay remembers that he has an opportunity to pick up the victory as he goes for the cover 1... 2... NO! Noble kicks out! Chaos then ensues as Kid Kash charges the ring and lays the boot into Sonjay for apparently no reason, before then going after Billy Kidman as he entered the ring but Kidman pulled down the top rope and sent him flying over the top and down to the outside with a thud!
With the fans on their feet, Kidman wastes no time in climbing to the top rope and leaping off, landing a SHOOTING STAR PLANCHA DOWN ON TO KID KASH TO A HUGE POP! The fans erupt as Kidman crashes to the floor while meantime in the ring Petey Williams rushes in, only to be met by a SONJAY CUTTTER FROM DUTT! Williams crashes to the canvas in a heap and rolls out of the ring as Sonjay turns back into a kick to the gut from Jamie Noble to which he follows up with the TIGER DRIVER!!!! Dutt’s body crumbles as the fans jubilation turns to huge heat as Noble hooks the leg. 1... 2... 3!
Winners & Number 1 Contenders to the Cruiserweight Championship: Jamie Noble, Kid Kash & Petey Williams @ 9:29
After the match, Noble grabbed the microphone and bragged that this was just further evidence to his claims that he is the most dominant Cruiserweight in EPW and that it’s only a matter of time before he is the CW Champion and there isn’t a damn thing any of the people in the arena can do about it. He addresses Aries on commentary, telling him his days are numbered and informs Kash and Williams that they should consider themselves lucky to even be in the damn match ‘cause if it wasn’t for him, they wouldn’t even be on the card but this is where their luck stops because they’re no chance of winning the title! Noble drops the microphone on the mat before walking towards Aries, who is still standing near the commentary table with his belt over his shoulder until Aries motions that he should turn around. Eventually he does, albeit sceptically and rightfully so as he turns into a CANADIAN DESTROYER FROM PETEY WILLIAMS!!!! Our commentators put over the fact that Williams has just got some redemption following his assault at the hands of Jamie Noble last week while the Hammerstein fans erupt as we head backstage to Maria standing by with Kurt Angle.
Maria asks Kurt his thoughts on the other 7 participants in the Pain Chamber match at Forsaken. Kurt got straight to the point, he said he didn’t care who else was in the match because all he’s concerned about is two things. Beating the holy hell out of Edge and winning the EPW Championship. In that order. He tells Edge to make the most of his final days as Champion and to make the most of his final days being able to walk. He says at Forsaken he’s gonna break both of Edge’s ankles and take his World Title while he’s at it. Suddenly Kurt is then cut off as Bryan Danielson comes flying into shot with Mick Foley close behind. Angle is clearly pissed off as he storms out of shot and Danielson staggers backward trying to get away from an irate Mick Foley.
The commentators put over that this sort of behaviour is unlike what we usually see from Mick Foley and that Bryan Danielson has really lit a fire underneath him in recent weeks.
Commercial
We return from commercial to find Konnan and the Tag Champions, Homicide and Hernandez standing by. Konnan stays off saying “Heyman... Imma make ‘dis short ese!” He questions why Generation Next have to face a team that Homicide and Hernandez have beaten multiple times in order to earn a title shot? He says it’s a load of a crap, he says he’s sick of Heyman’s prejudice ways of running EPW. He tells him if he doesn’t begin recognising the dominance of the LAX Revolution, there’ll be hell to pay. He closes in reminding the boss that you can stop a Revolutionary but you can’t stop a Revolution! Orale! Orale! Ariba La Raza!
Match 2
Triple Threat Match; Winner gets Pacific Championship shot at Forsaken.
Muhammad Hassan w/ Daivari v The Sandman v Monty Brown
Similar to the previous match, the Champion, CM Punk made his way down to ringside to take a spot on commentary before the match got under way, which also led to Daivari being sent from ringside before the match had started. With the Hammerstein fans naturally heavily in favour of a Sandman victory, Muhammad Hassan looked like raining on his parade dominating both Brown and The Sandman. Hassan hit several power moves to The Sandman after he took out Monty Brown with a Kendo Stick, even using The Hardcore Icon’s own weapon on him – the Singapore Cane, Hassan still couldn’t put the Sandman away. Growing frustrated, Hassan suddenly strikes the referee with a right hand! Immense heat fills the arena as he then picks Sandman up and plants him soon after with the Finishing Touch but there’s no one there to make the count! HOLD ON! A new referee is running head down, down the aisle to huge heat! The official slides under the bottom rope and starts a count! 1... 2... HOLD ON! The referee stops the count and pulls Muhammad Hassan to his feet...IT’S CHRISTIAN CAGE!!!! HASSAN DIDN’T NOTICE, HE WAS TOO FOCUSED ON WINNING THE MATCH!!! UNPRETTIER!!! CHRISTIAN PLANTS HASSAN WITH THE UNPRETTIER TO A HUGE POP! Cage then drags the Sandman on top of Hassan and then after a few moments of trying, revives the referee and drags him over to make the count! 1... 2... NO! Hassan kicks out!!!! Christian took too long to revive the referee! Hassan pushes Sandman off him and climbs up to his feet slowly, refusing to take his eyes of Christian who has a slight grin on his face... POUNCE!!!!! POUNCE TO HASSAN!!!! MONTY BROWN NAILS THE POUNCE OUT OF NO WHERE!! 1... 2... 3!!!
Winner & NEW Number 1 Contender to the Pacific Championship: Monty Brown @ 6:42
A big mixed reaction fills the Hammerstein as Monty celebrates on top of the closest turnbuckle to CM Punk who simply stands up, nodding his head as he raises his title in Brown’s direction all the while Christian Cage makes a quiet exit up the aisle when we get a quick hype from the commentators that Cage is surely excited to be heading to his home town of Toronto next week.
AJ Styles was interviewed by Maria backstage. Styles said he knows he’s going into the Pain Chamber as the underdog, he knows he’s the outsider but he doesn’t care. He says he’s the only person in this match that doesn’t have past or current problems with anyone else in the Chamber. He reminds us the issues that Kurt Angle and Edge have had in the past and present, Angle and Lesnar’s problems, Edge and Van Dam’s problems, Jericho and Angle’s history, Sabu and RVD’s problems way back in the old ECW days as well as the still smouldering problem between Van Dam and Lesnar. He says there will be that many hidden agendas in this match that he will be able to sneak under the radar and come home with the EPW Championship. AJ attempts to speak again when he suddenly gets clubbed over the back of the head by... EDGE! The crowd erupts into heat as the EPW Champion reefs the microphone out of Maria’s hands and stares straight into the camera and yells “KURT ANGLE! YOU’VE BEEN RUNNIN’ ‘ROUND THIS PLACE FOR WEEKS, LIKE A MAN POSSESSED... TONIGHT’S YOUR CHANCE TO GET YOUR HANDS ON ME BUT I GUARANTEE THAT AFTER THIS MATCH IS DONE, YOU’RE GONNA REGRET WANTIN’ ANOTHER SHOT AT THIS TITLE! AT THE END OF THE NIGHT, I WILL STAND IN THAT VERY RING AND PROVE I DESERVE THIS BELT! YOU JUST BETTER HOPE YOU'RE STILL ALIVE TO TELL THE STORY!” Edge holds the title up to the camera as we go to a commercial.
Commercial
We return from commercial to find Paul Heyman standing in his office. He says he’s already taken up enough time for one night, so this is short and sweet. He says he’s sick of all the games between Muhammad Hassan and Christian Cage. At Forsaken, they’re going to sort out their differences one on one!
Match 3
Tag Team Match; If Strong & Shelly win they get a shot at the EPW Tag Team Championships @ Forsaken.
Roderick Strong & Alex Shelly v Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas
Unlike earlier, The Champions – The Latin American Exchange didn’t make their way down to the commentary booth for this match. Shelly and Strong dominated, isolating Charlie Haas with regular tags and double team moves. Unfortunately for Haas, he hasn’t been able to make a tag at all for the match. Shelly and Haas currently occupy the ring with Shelly setting Charlie up for Sliced Bread #2 but Haas pushes him off and Alex turns into a big DROPKICK from Charlie Haas causing the fans to lift out of their seats. Haas and Shelly crawl towards their respective corners with the fans buzzing for the two popular teams to lock up again! Shelly makes the hot tag to Strong as Roddy enters the ring to a huge “RODDY” chant and Haas goes to tag in Shelton... BUT HE’S NOT EVEN WATCHING THE MATCH!!! HE’S STARING AT A FANS POSTER IN THE FRONT ROW WITH A PHOTO OF CM PUNK AND THE PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Haas can’t believe what he’s seeing before he’s rushed from behind by Strong who turns him around and nails the GIBSON DRIVER!!! The fans pop as he hooks the far leg of Charlie Haas. 1... 2... 3!!!
Winners & Number 1 Contenders to the EPW Tag Team Championships: Alex Shelly & Roderick Strong @ 4:59
Shelly and Strong embrace in the ring and celebrate getting another shot until Homicide and Hernandez slide into the ring and lay the beat down upon their challengers at Forsaken. Hernandez cracks Strong across the back of the head with his championship belt before giving Alex Shelly the same treatment. Homicide lays his championship belt down on the canvas before picking up Alex Shelly and nailing the GRINGO KILLA ON THE GOLD!!!! The fans pour heat on the Champions as they exit the ring and we go to a commercial.
Commercial
Upon return from commercial we find Samoa Joe sitting in a corner backstage. Joe gets straight to the point, questioning the logic in Heyman pitting him against Terry Funk at Forsaken. He asks what him defeating a 63 year old that’s retired more times than he count is going to achieve? He says Funk isn’t a has been... Funk is a never was. Terry Funk’s wrestling career was only successful because of his stupidity, not his ability. He says Funk is washed up and should’ve stayed in retirement the first time because he’s living off something that isn’t even worth living off. He says Funk might’ve won titles, he might’ve won some insanely extreme matches but he’s never had to step into the ring with someone remotely like Samoa Joe but that’s not all, he says he will have no answer for his power and that he hopes that Funk is prepared to get burned because he’s got a specially designed branding iron for this match that’s going to make sure this one is a lasting memory in his heart because when he wins, he will be branding Terry Funk right across the heart and leave him with a memory that will be with him for the rest of his life. He then holds up his specially designed branding iron that simply says “JOE”. The fans react very negatively as we head back to the arena for our Main Event.
Match 4
Main Event
8 Man Tag Team Match
Kurt Angle, Sabu, Rob Van Dam & Rhino v Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar andthe EPW World Champion, Edge.
Kurt Angle took control of his team, indicating that he wanted to start and he quickly pointed to Edge declaring that he wanted him but Edge just laughed and went straight to the outside, leaving Brock Lesnar to kick things off. As the match went on, every single participant became involved – except Edge. Eventually Edge was tagged in by Chris Jericho as the champion went after a weakened Sabu but luckily he managed to duck under a wayward clothesline attempt from Edge and tag in an enraged Kurt Angle! Angle goes straight after Edge, hammering away with some hard right hands combined with some brutal European Uppercuts! Out of no where, Angle bought down Edge with a double leg and locked in the Ankle Lock instantaneously but Edge manages to wrangle to the ropes! A frustrated Angle dragged Edge to his feet and positioned himself behind the champion, wrenching his arms around his waist as he then takes him down to the mat again with a waist-lock takedown! Wasting no time, Angle applies the Ankle Lock again!! Edge is stuck in the middle of the ring this time with no where to go, but this time it’s broken up when Angle is booted in the head by Brock Lesnar! The kick has such ferocity that he sends Angle back in the direction of his corner, allowing him to tag in Rhino! The Man Beast charges the ring and immediately nails the GORE!!! EDGE EATS THE GORE AND SELLS IT BEYOND REPUTE! Rhino makes the cover with the crowd chanting along, but it’s broken up this time by Chris Jericho! The faces have had enough and charge the ring to which their opponents respond in kind and we’ve got a massive brawl in the ring with all participants in the Pain Chamber, except Edge who remains down following the Gore! Eventually the participants spew down to the outside of the ring, leaving only Rhino and the downed Edge in the ring. Rhino measures Edge in preparation for presumably another Gore when suddenly AJ Styles appears back in the ring momentarily before he Springboards off the top rope and nails a MOONSAULT PLANCHA DOWN ON TO 5 MEN! Showing no reserve for himself or his team mates, Styles floors everyone! The camera focuses on Edge as he finally getting back to his feet only to be met by a charging Rhino! GORE! WAIT! EDGE MOVED! He avoided the Gore at the last second! SPEAR! SPEAR! Edge nails Rhino with the Spear! 1... 2... 3! Edge wins it!
Winners: Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar and the EPW Champion, EDGE @ 9:13
Edge makes the referee hold his arm up in the middle of the ring as he holds his Championship up with his other arm. The show ends with a final shot of the wreckage at ringside and Kurt Angle being the first to get back to his feet and realise that the match has ended. His anguish soon turns to anger as he sees Edge in the ring with a huge grin on his face, raising his title in the air as the show cuts to black with one final hype for Enslaved live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada next week!

Enslaved Feedback
Paul Heyman opening the show and getting straight to business which was really strange I would have expected him to say something about Samoa Joe just to continue their hatred for each other but that’s me. Matches looks pretty good for the night although as you mentioned for the triple threat match to see who faces CM Punk, The Sandman really is a shitty choice however I expect Monty Brown to pick up the win anyway.
Really nice opening match tbh, I like the way you put some fair detail into this match and yeah it was really good. I am also really happy with the result because it keeps Jamie Noble undefeated and gives him a shot at a title and to make it even more awesome Kid Kash gets through as well. Cruiserweight match at PPV is going to be awesome and hopefully will be given a fair amount of time to shine… Canadian Destroyer at the end kind of ruined this segment for me like I understand Noble deserved it and what not but still… Noble for champion PLZ
Kurt Angle FTW. He is the intense wrestling machine, but I am not so sure beating Edge would be ahead of getting the title, don’t get me wrong I understand that he wants to get at Edge bad but knowing Kurt Angle I still think he would want the title more then anything.
I was never a huge fan of LAX because I was never much of a TNA guy but after watching my Bound For Glory DVD I can honestly say I really like LAX therefore I think LAX should be tag champs for a long time because well they are kind of awesome
I think it was kind of predictable who was going to win the triple threat match here. First off you had Muhammad Hassan who is in the middle of a high profile feud with Christian Cage. Then we have Sandman who got made to look like a bitch last week so we don’t want him competing for a title. Then we had Monty Brown who was not really doing much and deserves a good run so its common sense that he gets a go now. Punk will win though because you love him.
Nice AJ Styles interview and he made a good point I think about how he has no problem with anyone so he might win however then Edge attacks him and now he does have issues with someone. Edge then seems pretty intense tonight and I think he is just talking tough because he is going to have people to hide behind other wise by making him ready to fight tonight you are just contradicting his character from the past weeks.
The inevitable is done as Hassan and Christian are signed to a match and more awesomeness for a PPV. One thing I love about a created fed such as this every match contains excellent wrestlers so every match has the chance to be excellent
I am not a big fan of Roderick Strong but I mark hard for Alex Shelly so I was hoping that WGTT got the win as I prefer them as a unit. Unfortunately Benjamin was busy looking in the crowd Sad way to lose a match hopefully planting seeds for a rivalry between the two. LAX getting some major heat after the match and they are the best.
Samoa Joe seems a bit intense LOL Just a tiny bit and I love it. It typical Joe and I love heel Joe and I expect him to beat Terry Funk in an extremely insane match. Branding Iron adds something else to the match and I wonder if he will brand Funker.
Main event was great and it really told a story of how Edge was okay to get in the ring but only when someone was down or hurt. I loved the little period where Angle was taking Edge to school because it is what everyone wanted to see. Then the heels came and interrupted and we had a brawl. Once you mentioned the brawl and that Edge was the only one taking it easy I knew he was going to get the win and he did. Angle would be pissed for sure and I expect Angle to get some retribution eventually. One thing however when you have a big match like this try to mention everyone because I just re skimmed over the show and I don’t think you mentioned Van Dam once
Overall yet another nice recap, what can I complain about??? The match recaps were of nice detail and the interviews and stuff there was really were a great read. Story line progression at its finest on this show, it was great because I could just read the show and have nothing to complain about. Good effort, keep it up

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Think your the only one I missed in my string of reviews in the last few days Para (bar Mac, but, meh ). Not on purpose I assure you. Would never skip out on one of my most loyal bitches, tbh. I simply didn't see the thread hanging around. Review tomorrow my good man. Hell of an Xmas gift that'll be for ya.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Twas easy to miss, Niatch. It was on about page 7, I couldn't even find it when I was trying to post the show tbh. Stupid sig missing is very inconvenient.
Thanks for the feedback WrestleFreak. The fact I pretty much ignored RVD is a massive mistake on my part. No excuse for that. Fucking stupid tbh. Very pissed off at myself over that.
On that note, this will probably be my last post in here for a few days as I'm going away on Boxing Day, so Merry Xmas kiddies!
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
So far Forsaken looks like it will be a brilliant PPV and the main event could possibly be one of the most anticipated i remember. Cant wait to see it.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Hey Para, time for another review.
Enslaved Feedback:
First three matches are number one contenders makes this a big day already. While some guys (Sandman) don't deserve to be in them, I'm sure you'll make them as entertaining as possible. I'll take Brown and WGTT for their wins. Danielson, Dutt, and Kidman for the win also, tbh.
Ah fuck, my guess for the last one was just a toss up, but I know I'm wrong now. I somehow forgot about Foley and Danielson feuding. Damn Foley, should've let him finish the match. Good booking decision in keeping Noble even stronger going into Forsaken and he'll go into a long-term feud with Aries, tbh, so he won't win at Forsaken.
Like I said before, badass Angle OWNS.
LAX haven't had much air-time in a few shows, so even a little promo was fine for them. Hopefully they get included more into the show as time goes on. Or you can push Homicide into the CW division.
If you let it come down to Sandman and Hassan, I'll have problems. Pretty obvious Cage was going to interfere after what went down the past few weeks, but you think Hassan would've noticed it was Cage as the ref, don't you? Monty with a pounce out of no where to take the win, ftw. One for two on my predictions. Brown/Punk could be a very interesting matchup. These are two really different styles, and both can hold it in the ring.
Yay, some air-time for Styles. It would so totally be out of nowhere if he won, but I can only see him maybe eliminate one person. Edge can suck my dick, tbh. Angle better break his freakin ankle, tbh.
Finally the match announcement by Heyman. Forsaken is really starting to shape up to be a card. Pain Chamber, FF for the title, Brown/Punk, Cage/Hassan, sounds like a hell of a PPV.
Ah fuck, one for three. I don't know much about Roderick Strong, so that's why I went against him . Benjamin you asshole, Haas got screwed by you. Fag. LAX gets two appearances on a show! No way. . Homicide should totally go singles, tbh.
Joe owns as well, and I agree, what's with Heymans logic? If Funk makes it past the ten minute mark I'll be surprised, only if Joe lets him, tbh.
Angle & Co. are taking the ME tonight. Edge attacked one of his partners, I think that says enough. Then Angle will beat the crap out of Edge tonight but at the Pain Chamber Edge will win. There, now you have all the storylines settled. OK, so Angle did beat the crap out of Edge, but the douchbag still won the match. Total pussy staying away from all the fights. What a champ.
Overall: Great show, Para, much better then last weeks, I must say. ME surprised me some, I thought Angle would've went over, we had a surplus of matches announced, 4, and the PPV is shaping up nicely. Can't wait to you go to full shows for full time. Only 2 more shows til the PPV man. 8/10
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
So this is my first time doing a formal review, so, this is gonna be hit or miss, but I figure writing in the same format as every one, answering each segment, will be the best way so here goes. Oh, also, the 90 show was the first I read from this so, I am not fully up on all the storylines.
-So I see why Sandman should not be given a shot for #1 contendership, but why would Monty be in this match. He has done nothing to my knowlege.
-The tag match should be good, I would mark for Shelley and Strong as tag champs.
-Good idea to get the guys for the tag match. Should be a good six man tag.
-The championship match is gonna be all Noble and Aries. Hopefully Dutt keeps looking good like he did in that match.
-Revenge is sweet for Petey. I think Petey is gonna be Jamie's downfall in the title match, cause payback is a bitch, and Aries can't drop the belt yet, so Noble is kept strong at the same time.
-Kurt seems toned down this week, needs more anger lol. And Bryan should be able to take a hagar like Mick. This kills his legitamacy.
-The fact that Sandman fell so easy last time and now Hassan can't beat him even with weapons kills Hassan's power in my eyes. Cheers to Punk getting the easy win on PPV. I do like though what you are doing with Cage and Hassan, that was nice.
-Well so much for AJ not having an agenda, it will be interesting if he can stay focused, or if he will just want revenge/let it get in the way of his goals.
-It is like Edge and angle have had an ego swap. Why is Edge so angry and Kurt calm. Edge should be cocky he got away in the car, not pissed that he was so lucky.
-Glad that Cage/Hassan are gonna get a match on the big show.
-Whatreason does Shelton have for being so mesmorized. Why didn't Charlie just tag his partner blind? People get tagged in against their will all the time, so why didn't he go for it?
-Joe tells the truth, what is Funk gonna do to Joe? Never was may be stepping a little to far. Actually, he wrestled many Joeish people in Japan...Joe blows. I could care less about this match.
-Kurt is determined, and Rhino is a beast. This match is builed them great. Somehow I feel Edge will be slimy and still retain though. Didn't expect Edge to win, that was a good idea, keep your champ strong.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Paul Heyman begins the show and lets us know that tonight is going to be a “contenders” night. I’m glad to see some high-profile matches in store, and this show is going to really set the stage for the Forsaken PPV.
Awesome match that was a fast-paced encounter between the Cruiserweights. I’m glad to see you utilizing them well in this thread. Noble’s team gets the victory. Noble then cuts a really good promo. He definitely seems to be the favorite in the match at Forsaken, as he was able to achieve the pinfall that sent his team to the match. Petey Williams gets retribution, and although this was no doubt a surprise, it does not make Noble seem as credible heading into Forsaken. Nonetheless, it’s a good move, as it makes the division seem more contested.
Kurt Angle is intense as he addresses Edge. Angle is going to break “both” of Edge’s ankles. The “Pain Chamber” match will no doubt be an impressive encounter.
Konnan is pissed at Paul Heyman. He does indeed make things short and sweet, telling Heyman there’ll be hell to pay. I like the way the champions came across here. They will no doubt be a force for sometime to come in this thread.
The next match has a surprise. Christian Cage comes to the ring and nails Hassan with an Unprettier. This was a good decision. Cage and Hassan isn’t something I’ve read before. Nonetheless, I still favored Hassan to win the match before this interference. Monty Brown is able to achieve the victory. I’m not sure how prestigious the Pacific Championship is in this thread, but I certainly was surprised this match was so short. The three men involved could have been given more time. The dynamics between Punk and Brown should be enjoyable at Forsaken. I’m not sure how things will work, but Punk will no doubt have to be resilient. You have a great opportunity to tell a great story with the Pacific Championship match at Forsaken. Here’s to you capitalizing on that opportunity.
Christian Cage will be well received next week in his hometown. I expect him to get the best of Muhammad Hassan yet again. Hassan could really toy with the Canadian fans about their allegiance to the Americans.
AJ Styles addresses Maria about the drama throughout the roster, and that he’ll be able to sneak under the radar, but drama soon comes AJ’s way courtesy of Edge. Edge attacks AJ and then begins to verbally call out Angle. I’m not sure if I understand the reasoning behind AJ being attacked. It seems a bit unnecessary, but it definitely creates a subplot heading into Forsaken. AJ will no doubt seek retribution.
I was pleased to see Generation Next win the chance to face LAX. This will no doubt be a competitive match. The finish was surprising, as Shelton Benjamin was distracted. I’m not sure if there’s any history between Benjamin and Punk because I haven’t been keeping up with the thread, but if so, Benjamin and Haas will certainly have trouble over this.
Samoa Joe cuts a NASTY promo on Terry Funk. I expect this match to be ugly. Samoa Joe will probably win, but it will be a devastating encounter for both men. I look forward to seeing Funk take the “Joe” iron across the heart.
The main event is an impressive encounter. Rhino nails Edge with the Gore, but Edge is able to avoid the move and pin Rhino when the War Machine attempts it a second time. Styles comes out with a fire, and helps Edge near the end of the match. Surprised to see the two working cohesively after their encounter earlier in the show. Edge stands tall to end the show, but it is unlikely he is going to retain his championship in this environment. All of the competitors came away looking somewhat credible due to the Main Event.
Overall, this was a really good show and I like the direction you’re headed in. Kurt Angle and Edge looks to be the upcoming feud after Forsaken, but I question who will emerge with the gold. I look forward to possibly exchanging reviews with you in the future. Keep up the good work.
