Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Paranoir's Enslaved Feedback:
HUGE way to kick the night off and good choice in match too with deciding the number one contender. The finish was something that is rarely done in BTB nowadays but I have seen done before. So props to you for doing that. I can see why you're keeping Benoit in the thread now and you're just going to write him off after Redemption since that's around the time he passed away I'm guessing? Jericho seems like the next top candidate to be gunning for that title but that's just me.
I like the characters of Juvy and Psicosis. Just straight up no shit taking Mexicans haha. Though the Mexicools gimmick owned, you're putting your own twist on it and that's good for you.
Ok, let's see. Punk and Hassan feud seems likely for sure after what happened. The main thing I noticed was after the match about Hassan's character. I noticed you didn't make any racist comments yet it was an entertaining promo. People seem to think Hassan's character is all about the "race" but really it could be more about that. So props to you for being able to do that and keep me entertained in the process though I hate Hassan.
Samoa Joe's promo was fine, nothing really "special" about it to me. He had the intensity and all and I'm just wondering what he's going to be doing from here. I seriously can't see another match with Jericho but now that Jericho has nothing to do, I certainly wouldn't rule it out? Not really much to comment on Lesnar either other than that he's just showing he is a beast in the ring. REally can't say much more.
Eh now onto Noble. I don't really know if I'm digging this Most Dangerous Man gimmick. Now don't get me wrong, I love Noble. He's a great wrestler that is underused in WWE but IDK, he doesn't strike me as that. With the redneck accent and all, he just doesn't get it. I know you can convince me though so I'm hoping you can do that in the next few shows.
LAX promo was just once again another normal promo from them to be honest. After reading over the promo it makes me think we're in for a Four Way Tag Match at the PPV as I can't see all of those teams being left out of the match. If it doesn't happen then, it'll be later on.
WOW. RVD hells yeah! I mark for RVD haha. But anyways, great match to showcase RVD in his debut in EPW and makes sense too considering this was the time whenever he left ECW so good pick up there. I almost missed it but caught it at the end whenever Styles announced the rematch. Shame RVD isn't going to win but either way, it'll be one kick ass match in RVD's second match back in the Ballroom.
Overall, great show once again. It's been a while since I've read the thread and I have a bit of review rust me thinks haha. But anyways enjoy the review and I'll be back for next week's Enslaved. Later.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
-Great way to start the show off, yes, yes. This would’ve got everyone salivating from their mouths, and I like the write-up for it. Most match write-ups are boring and bland for me… yours are one of the few I read. However, I had to laugh at the “inverted back breaker” part though… why not call it a gut buster, it’s real name? . I LOVED the ending for the match, although you lose major points by having Rhino take the fall. That’s not ratings. Oh, and so is Chris Benoit not celebrating with his kids afterwards… pussy.
-The Juice and Psicosis promo was rather bland. Not very enticing, although it did enough to serve its purpose. Please have The Juice start parodying The Rock at random times… have him do the “Finally The Juice” line, only for him to name the wrong city. Classic shit, plz. I think the problem was that the promo itself just didn’t have enough substance to it. Just as it started, it ended. Maybe that’s just me, but eh, I don’t know.
-While I applaud you for doing something different with the whole Daivari going under the ring bit, but it just seemed kind of silly, to me. Nice way to bring home the cheap win for the heels and Hassan, while keeping Punk over… but it just seemed… awkward and out of the blue. Good to see the creative juices flowing though because while it didn’t do anything for me, it wasn’t like it was a shitty thing, compared to some other things you see around the forum that are attempts to be creative. Also, didn’t like seeing how Aries/Danielson were ignored at the end of the match, only to pop back up in the aftermath. I was killer happy to see the heels beat down the faces, only for Danielson to walk away from Hassan/Daivari afterwards. I REALLY loved that.
-Hassan’s promo was pretty darn good, and I do like his character in this, in that you swayed away from the Anti-America gimmick and made it more personal between him and Punk. However, not a fan of Daivari also using the Camel Clutch; I much prefer it being just Hassan. I don’t know if I can put just ‘why’ into words, but meh, I don’t like it. . Two unknown men making a save? They better be fucking unknown then, not some Gen Next boys. I’m hoping for The Best Around, Bruce Maxwell & TJ Cannon. Make it happen, Para. Bring in my boys.
-I am really digging what you are doing with Samoa Joe right now. He wins, but gets the shaft. However, it isn’t an angle you can lay out for a long time, so it will need to have results soon. If Joe was beating lower-tier guys, then it could be spread out over a longer period of time, but when a fat-bitch beats Jericho, it generates credibility. However, the “Fucker” might have been a little too risqué for TV, although to be honest, I don’t give two shits. It wasn’t really needed to help solidify the point being made, but it wasn’t a deterrence or anything. But yes, solid, solid promo… really loved it, and looking forward to seeing the angle continue.
-Brock Lesnar squashes Shannon Moore… I like it. I love that you’re not pushing Lesnar to the moon right now, and I wouldn’t even mind if you continued the simple squashes and slowly building him up for a while. It works for him.
-Can Jamie Noble just debut already? I’m actually getting annoyed with these little promos and such… this one did nothing was just more or less filler. Wasn’t fond of it or anything. I do fear you may Jesus push him, for Noble just isn’t main event level, as least not yet… and especially because you have a solid main event core already as well.
-I remember talking about how I didn’t like the strong similarities between Hassan and LAX, and this just reinforced that you did separate the two gimmicks more this show. Hassan’s promo was personal and pretty much no Anti-America crap, while LAX was much more how its gimmicks should be. One of the gimmicks needed to show signs of change… Hassan’s gimmick is the one to change, and LAX should stay the same, more or less. LAX stayed the same with this promo, and it did its job. Nice little promo to put LAX over, and I do think you have done well in establishing LAX as a chief-team in EPW.
-You ruined the RVD return for me. Not because I had a suspicion it would be him after the PMs we exchanged about the Van Terminator, but because you, like others, have been sucked into conformity from the WWE, and used One of a Kind as his theme music. WALK BY PANTERA. That is a theme song for Rob Van Dam, sir. Nothing else.
-I liked the main event match very much, sir, even if you made me an angry panda by not being an Indy writer and using “Walk” as you should have. The Van Daminator with the Belt was hella sweet, and so was the flap jack into the 5 Star afterwards. Obviously, it is no shocker that Van Dam won. He HAD to win the non-title match in his debut. I he jobbed, there goes absolutely all of his credibility. However, here is what I want you to do next week. I want you to throw your readers off and have Rob Van Dam win the Title next week. Do you know why? Because right below this show, you have a match banner… that advertises Edge vs. Chris Benoit for the World Title~! You’re spoiling your readers a match already, and thus, makes that match completely and totally worthless unless you change your mind now that it has been brought to attention.
I liked the show, until the ending. Honestly, that pissed me off, that you failed to pick up on that obvious blunder. Don’t advertise a main event Title for next week’s show, only to then advertise the main event Title match for the PPV, which shows that the Champ retains. That is just stupid booking on your part, and you’re better than that to slip up. I expect that from other, mediocre bookers (I’m sure you could think of 1 or 2 that we could mutually agree on), but not from you. I hold you in higher regard, so don’t slip up like that again. Or else, I will be angry. Very angry!
Other than that, it was a good show, and you continue to improve, Para. Your shows are consistently interesting and intriguing, and you continue to still make me want to come back to read more. There was solid, strong, development with the World Title scene, and the Punk/Hassan feud. Other than that, though, there was little to zero development in storylines. The other promos and such seemed more like filler, and not solid storyline progressment. Hopefully you improve on that with the next show. Mmhmm.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Thanks for the feedback so far guys, looks forward to yours Reney and I hope to see a little more roll in, in due time.
Just to address a few things, mainly from what Szumi had to say.
I'm glad that the finish of the opening match was well recieved. Rhino being pinned was really the only possible way to go for me, because Christian and Jericho are both being pushed harder than him at the moment and I didn't want to fuck that up, although Rhino's involvement will pick up in the following shows. Rhino taking the fall I feel really puts over Christian's Unprettier, while obviously Cage almost tapping to The Walls at the end makes Y2J look strong.
Glad to see you though the Juvi/Psi promo was okay KOP, but apparently you thought otherwise Szum, to be honest I'm still trying to work out their characters. I'll definitely use that line though.
Daivari going under the ring was something different, I did it because I had to figure out a way to get Punk out of the match and I feel it makes the feud between Punk and Hassan even more personal. I'm definitely trying to make Hassan's character different, the anti-American stuff will still come out occasionally, but not to much and definitely not when the LAX are playing the race card.
You're really the first person to pick up on what I'm trying to do with Joe. He keeps winning, but still gets the shaft. Exactly that. It's going to work-out into one of the major storylines in my thread. Basically what I want it to be is face Heyman v heel Joe and Heyman keeps throwing obstacles at him and giving him new opponents. More on this storyline will develop over the next few shows. I think it's something you'll really dig actually. To say it will have an "extreme" feel, is an understatement.
YBC, the Lesnar squashes will continue for a while yet. There is a reason for it and it actually pertains to a storyline that isn't far away from really getting under way.
I actually didn't ask the Van Terminator thing because of anything to do with the thread . I must admit that I used One of a Kind for one reason... because I had the part where his music hit completely seperate and I thought if I had **WALK** then not so many people would've clicked. Never fear though, I want to use Walk and I will be very soon.
Now on to this major blunder. Is it really a blunder? Perhaps. Perhaps not. I must admit though, I did fuck up, because at first I had Edge/RVD v Benoit written in there. I assure you though, it isn't a fuck up.
Now some news from the website.
The following is from EPW's Official Website.

EPW GOES ONLINE!
Evolution Pro Wrestling is pleased to announce that the company is slightly expanding. While the current one hour time-slot of Wednesday Night Enslaved will stay as is, as thirty minute webcast which will be posted right here on EPW's Official Website. every Friday night entitled "EPW's Online Oblivion". Online Oblivion will commence as of next week and will feature two matches from some of the hottest stars in EPW!
MAJOR INJURY TO EPW STAR!
Now on a more sombre note, we have the unfortunate duty of reporting that the man who won the Number One Contenders Fatal Fourway this past Wednesday, Chris Benoit, has been severely injured. The full extent of the injury is not yet known but as of now it seems he could be out for some time due to a problem with both his shoulder and neck. The issue will be address in full on the next episode of Enslaved when more should be known.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
As promised, the long awaited review of EPW by moi...
Great opening to the show imo, top quality match with four of the big names in this show unless I am not mistaken. Hammerstein Ballroom always serves up a sweet crowd. Rhyno taking the fall seemed logical, he is perhaps the lesser of the four men in the match. Benoit moves onto the Championship match, should be good. Loving Jericho as a heel, keep plz.
A Mexicools like teaming with Juvi/Psicosis is cool. Decent promo, got the point across with minimal fuss. Juvi sounded very much like himself.
Another sweet match, six man tags = ratings. Not a fan of Daivari, fucking useless. But Hassan is good, and overall I can see a Punk/Hassan angle either starting or continuing. I'm such a nub in this thread
Good booking and another well recapped match.
Nasty stuff, Punk is destroyed as predicted, fueling the feud between himself and Hassan. Aries gets owned during the promo, Hassan brings good intensity. Good stuff. What's this? A debuting Tag Team? Hmm. Possibilities point to an Indy/TNA team imo, judging on the vast talent pool in this thread. So, I have no fucking clue who they could be. Naturals? AMW? Briscoes?
Nash on commentary is gold. Great and unique choice.
Rofl. Joe is sooooo very overrated by TNA and Indy marks. Good promo, although I couldn't care less if he's fucked over forever in this thread, as I dislike him strongly.
Lesnar > Moore. Too easy. A big swing from the quality of the first two matches really, kinda a let down, but Lesnar needs time either way so atleast he's on the show in the end. Move him onto something else thanks.
Noble the most dangerous man in EPW? BAHAHAHAHA! I hope he gets smoked.
Konnan promo was alright. Better than Juvi's earlier. The gimmick between these two teams is actually very close, both being Latin teams. I think LAX will have too much for their Cruiserweight opponents anyways in this angle.
Edge the trademark heel. Good to see. RVD! Agree with Szumi, it's slightly disappointing he's using One Of A Kind instead of Walk, but really, we can't hear the music, so in the end, who gives a rats ass about Szumi
Top main event, matches have been exceptional tonight bar that poor man's squash. Great way to get RVD into the title picture with a win over the champion in one helluva match. RVD + Benoit + Edge = ratings. Should be a cracking feud with Edge's mic work, RVD's hardcore ability and Benoit's in ring skill.
Overall, I'm glad I checked in because I've been missing the best non WWE thread since my WIWA a few years back. This was a very good show. A poor squash match and one or two eh promo's were made up for with three excellent matches. Good work Para.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Enslaved Review:
Like I mentioned in my thread, here is my full review for your show man!
What a way to kick off the show. Great match man. The booking and the ending of the match was well done, as it really doesn't take anything away from Jericho, Christian, and even Rhino to an extent, in this thread.
The Juice and Psciosis' promo was really good. This so far has been a great feud, and it looks like it is going to get better in this thread.
The Six Man Tag was well booked man, as it really gave all six wrestlers involved a chance to actually wrestle in the match. Not surprised that Hassan's team won, but What an Aftermath, for this match! Hassan's promo was excellent man. The new character for Hassan and Davari has been well booked for both wrestlers. Hassan/Punk should be a classic match at Redemption. However I wonder who were the two wrestlers who helped Aries at the conclusion of the segment.
Joe's promo was well done as well. I like the real grimey underground indy feel this thread has! This thread is really becoming one of my favorite threads to read here in BTB. With that said, I can't wait to see who Joe is going to have to face next before getting a title match. As far as the Brock/Shannon match, just like you mentioned, it was a squash match as expected. Great way though of having Brock continuing to be build up strong in this thread, despite losing at the Out of Exile PPV, against Christian.
Noble looks like he is going to be a huge part of in this thread. As far as the LAX promo, as usual, another great promo from the leader of the LAX group.
I'm shocked that RVD was the mystery opponent. However I'm not shocked that he won the match. MOTN by far, IMO. With that said, it looks like Edge will retain his title next week in the title match, against RVD.
Overall Comments: Like Reney said earlier, this is becoming my favorite and one of the best non-WWE/WCW/TNA thread, and one of the best threads in BTB, since Reney's original WIWA thread.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
DH6's Enslaved Feedback
Good way to open the show with the number one contender's match. I like the people you've chosen for the match. To be honest, I thought that Christain would win, not Benoit, but Benoit was still a good choice. The finish was great, and can't wait to see if Benoit actually does win the championship. Didn't like how Rhino took the fall, but still glad that Benoit won either way.
Good to have a promo here since you started things off with a match. So they turned on LAX? Sounds interesting enough, and can't wait to see what comes about between these teams.
Six Man Tag Match was a good choice to have as your second match, since it seems as if these guys are low carders, maybe mid-carders. Didn't think the submission would be the end of the match, but still a good finish, none-the-less. The aftermath attack was also good to send a statement to Punk, since I believe he is the Pacific Champion. Too much attacking, imo, but it was good for the two mystery men to come out. Now you've got me thinking on who they could be.
Really liked this segment, tbh. Interesting to see why Joe didn't get a title shot, and his angry character was great.
Nice Squash Match you had here. Probably would've been beter fort his to be the second match, not the third. Lesnar rolling over Moore is alright, but it builds up Lesnar a bit, which is what he needs.
Nice little short segment with Noble, but don't really expect him to do much. I guess I'll have to wait and see what you've got planned with him.
Great segment with LAX. I really enjoyed it, and they were in good character.
Interesting that the show is only an hour long. It doesn't really bother me. Edge being the World Champion (I believe) is a smart decision. Rob Van Dam is the Mystery Opponent!? That's awesome, and I marked. This match was amazing, by far MOTN. There were so many big moves that the crowd would've loved. Shame that the match only got ten minutes, but Van Dam returning and beating the World Champion is great. Maybe a Triple Threat for the Title at Redemption?
Overall, the show was fantastic for being an hour long. You booked the right matches and segments that were needed, and they all added to the show. I'll be reading your shows now after what I read. Awesome job, mate.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
PARANoIR's Enslaved Feedback
Apologies for the lateness. I suck
~ I would usually say that a match the calibre of Benoit/Christian/Jericho/Rhino in a #1 Contender's match HAS to go on last as the Main Event, but in your case the intrigue of a new wrestler debuting, and the Champion being involved, makes that impossible. Therefore, the opening match is the second best spot on the card in my opinion, so you made a good choice here. I'm still a little uncomfortable with Benoit, mate, but I guess I can endure it for a little while. He and Jericho looked very strong in this match, especially Y2J, who owned Christian at the end. The way Benoit picked up the win was a little bit heelish, but it was good to see worthless Rhino take the fall. He should be killed by Joe soon. Benoit/Edge sounds good; a send off for the Wolverine?
I'm glad that you have decided to go with Juvy and Psicosis as a full and credible tag team, as your tag division is really going to benefit from having them around. This interview was a little wierd, as both men sounded like virtual carbon copies of LAX, which doesn't suit them. I'd prefer them in their traditional luchador roles in all honesty. Hopefullt the WGTT don't get shafted due to all this.
Chaotic match up between the six men next. I love the way you have been utilising Punk and Hassan in this thread so far {although Colt over Hassan?}, and their feud has been booked very well. Quite a wierd finish with Daivari crawling under the ring at the end to grab the chair, but unique anyway. I felt that Danielson and Aries {whose feud I have enjoyed} got shafted a little bit during this. Danileson did not really do much of anything and Aries became a total sacrificial lamb to Hassan and Daivari. Like Szumi said, the fact that you are steering clear of the Anti-American schlock is doing wonders for Hassan's promos. They seem far more intense and personal as a result. I have no idea who the two men were running in. Possibly a new tag team? If you bring Sabin and Shelley in I will love you forever
Samoa Joe is awesome on the stick when he gets shouting and this showed why. It's actually quite cool that you are incorporating his current TNA gimmick into this thread, as he mows his way through the competition until he gets his title shot. I can see Rhino standing up to him next and getting put down. Although others alluded to the "**FUCKER**" line, I assume that the stars meant that the line was bleeped, which makes it fine.
Brock Lesnar as a monster heel = all awesome He should never have squashed Shannon Moore last week, but killing Shannon Moore and sending flowers to his wife and kids is just fine with me. Lacking a bit of direction currently is Brock, but there's plenty of talent for him to feud with ... eventually.
Wierd segment with Jamie Noble. It seemed as though you were hinting at who Noble is going to feud with first: will it be Aries, Rhino, or Colt Cabana? I'd go with Colt. The Mystery Man who Jamie nods at? Kid Kash? In Noble's short speech, he sounded a little bit as though he was from the north of England or something with "'ere" so you might want to watch that.
Konnan is great on the mic and all, I can't deny that, but I just loathe the LAX gimmick when they are heels. All this stereotypical "gringo" shit is just plain boring to me. Great way to get the heat though. You are really pushing LAX as THE team around EPW, with WGTT and The Dudleys not even getting a look in this week. Haas and Benjamin back next week plz.
ROB VAN DAM~!! I marked, but at the same time I'll admit that I was looking forward to seeing Monty Brown in this thread. Hopefully you still go ahead with bringing him into EPW. The match HAD to go to RVD on his debut, so good booking there, especially with Edge not coming off weak at all, as he hit the exposed turnbuckle. With the Championship match next week, I thought that you might be inserting Van Dam into the title scene ... but then I saw the match banner underneath for the Redemption PPV. Just like Szumi said, mate, that is pretty sloppy.
Overall this was another solid show from you, Para. Your tag team division is hotting up, and Haasan/Punk is starting to get brutal. The Main Event scene is great too, especially with Van Dam now around. Your booking has always been your strong point, as opposed to your promos, and that was the same this week. Only the Joe promo really gripped me. The others were a bit weak. Something to work on though
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Thanks for your feedback Legend, don't stress about it being late man. No biggy. Just a couple of things to touch on.
Yes, the FUCKER line in Joe's promo was intended to be bleeped out. It would be naive of me to think that he would be able to say such a thing without getting cut out.
I know it currently seems as if Lesnar is lacking direction, but the squashes he's involved in at the moment, and will be involved in for the next two or three weeks is actually part of the build towards his next feud, which is with a big opponent and I want him to have some good momentum heading into it thus rectifying his loss at Out of Exile.
And as for the match banner thing, wait and see my friend
