Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
This is my first Review for your fed so dont expect something outstanding from me
CM Punk wins the Pacific Championship
Nice all-out battle to start the evening. Great way to start the show. CM Punk was a nice choice to win. I like the way he won this one, too. Still a good win.
Rhino interview:
Great way to keep the momentum in Rhino's favor!
Christian beats Lesnar:
This was worth the wait. Pretty bloody stuff here it was a great match i didnt think u had it in u to pull off something this great. I like how Christian never gave up, it shows his fighting spirit IMO and to endure whatever Brock threw at him and get the win still. Pretty dramatic finish as well. It was a great match nothing less i can say about it
Haasan interview:
Pretty okay. I like how Punk's name is mentioned. That sets Haasan up for a big fall. I dont know about a feud between the two though very different styles
Cabana beats Haasan:
I liked how Punk helped Cabana beat Haasan. Sets up for a good rivalry with Haasan and Punk for the Pacific title. Great job. Maybe it is a good idea for the feud. Maybe even a tag feud as Cabana and Punk could work well together.
Joe's Interview:
Funny stuff with Maria. Great way to hype up the match, too.
LAX find Konnan out cold:
That was great. Really heating things up. Definatly a feud here
LAX beat the WGTT:
Very good match-up here. Great ending. LAx finally got retribution for Konnan and the tag team titles. I thought though it might have been a little less detailed but that was great, i like how you told us how far they have left to win the match
Noble interview:
I dont think he is the The Most Dangerous Man on the planet. Nice way to introduce him. Still, the heel must quickly establish himself in order for the crowd to hate him. a great way to push him though
Joe beats Jericho:
This one was superb. Climatic, for sure! The aftermath was good too. That was very un-expected. Looking forward to the rematch. maybe a longer feud than first expected
Edge beats Rhino & Chris Benoit:
Rhino's elimination was very clever. Liked it a lot. The ending wasn't as dramatic, as I expected. Edge is a great person to become first champion.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Quote:
CM Punk wins the Pacific Championship:
A great match to start the show which really got me hyped up for the rest of the PPV. Didn't see much of Aries, as I did the other two, but you explained that. I'm glad to see Punk as champ, as I haven't seen much of Danielson and Aries in real life. Plus I am a CM Punk fan, so yay CM Punk. This match gets a *** rating from me.
Rhino interview:
Decent interview, but I don't see Rhyno winning the title tonight.
Christian beats Lesnar:
I was quite suprised you put Christian over Lesnar, I was expecting Lesnar to dominate, although I personally prefer a Christian win. Obviously Christian won't win the title on the next show, but maybe he'll be pushed into the title picture. A ** rating.
Hassan interview:
This interview had no fizz because of Hassan's lack of racism rants. I was disappointed.
Cabana beats Hassan:
Never really been a big fan of Colt, and I hope he becomes a jobber, or at least feuds with someone of lesser importance, so Hassan can move onto bigger things, aka the CM Punk feud you have planned. The inclusion of CM Punk was a good addition to the match. *1/2 rating.
Joe's Interview:
Decent interview, they never excite me though.
LAX find Konnan out cold:
I liked this, although I predicted it. I also predicted Mexicools turn on LAX, before it happened, but it was still a good twist.
LAX beat the WGTT:
Match of the night in terms of spots, to say the least. This kind of match I expected from something like a Money In The Bank match, so thanks for the spotfest, I enjoyed it. The Mexicools twist was cool, but I didn't like that LAX won. I just don't like LAX, they bore me. **1/2 rating.
Noble interview:
Interview of the night... Great way to debut Noble and I liked that he attacked Hemme because it really put him over as a heel. Make Colt job to Noble, please. :P
Joe beats Jericho:
I was iffy about this match. Lack of weapons hurt it, but it was OK. ** rating.
Edge beats Rhino & Chris Benoit:
My personal match of the night. Loved it, glad Rhyno went early, I like him, I just prefer Edge/Benoit to Benoit/Rhyno or Edge/Rhyno. What I didn't like is the way Benoit just let Edge bask in his glory. Edge is a major heel, Benoit is a major face, that shouldn't have happened. Benoit should have stayed down. The match itself was great, a strong ***1/2 rating from me.
Entertainment/Quality: I loved the PPV overall. 4 of the matches, and 1 interview were my highlights of the night. 8/10
Length:
Longer than any PPV I've ever written, but I've seen lengthier ones, however, this was pretty fair for your first PPV. 9/10
Spelling/Grammar: Fine, as far as I could see. 10/10
Matches/Booking: Apart from the Hassan/Colt match, and the Joe/Jericho match, everything exceeded my expectations. 9/10
Realism: I'm gonna give you an 8/10
Overall: 44/50 = 88/100 = B+ Grade. Two points from an A grade.

Heyman Deciple's OUT OF EXILE REVIEW
Danielson vs. Punk vs. Aries: This was a good match. I was really glad to see CM Punk get the win and the fact that he made Bryan Danielson submit made it even better. The hand shake between Punk and Aries after the match was good too.
Rhino Interview: Good interview here with Rhino, as he gave his thoughts on the big world title main event between himself, Edge, and Chris Benoit then in came Homicide and Hernandez looking for Konnan, Juvi, and Psicosis which I was really entertained by. Rhino's intense reaction to Homicide and Hernandez was just great.
Brock vs. Christian: This was another really good match and I thought the finish to the match with Christian picking up the win was absolutely great.
Hassan Interview: Nice interview here with Muhammad Hassan, as he talked about his upcoming match with Colt Cabana and his impending feud with CM Punk.
Homicide and Hernandez-Paul Heyman: This was a nice little segment and I'm really enjoying Homicide's promo work through out the show. Good stuff.
Hassan vs. Cabana: This was a good match and I was so glad to see Colt Cabana get the win with a little help from his friend CM Punk.
Samoa Joe Interview: I just want to say that this may have been the greatest segment ever. First off the fat Samoan line ruled. Joe's promo was damn good and then we get more Homicide and Hernandez goodness. As first they run into Chris Jericho who just wants to focus on his upcoming match with Samoa Joe, next they see Bryan Danielson who's still trying to recover from his match, then Homicide and Hernandez finally find Konnan as he has been laid out.
Homicide & Hernandez vs. Haas & Benjamin: This match ruled. It was a great win for Homicide and Hernandez. The double cross by Juvi and Psicosis was well done and the beating they took from Homicide and Hernandez was great. By the way the modified border toss off the ladder sounds awesome.
Samoa Joe-Paul Heyman: This was a nice little segment here with Joe and Heyman.
Noble Interview: I really enjoyed this interview with Jamie Noble. It was a good way to introduce him and the way it ended with him knocking Christy Hemme down and putting her in the STF was just great.
Jericho vs. Joe: This was an awesome match with Samoa Joe getting the win. What happened after the match was great too with Jericho offering to shake Joe's hand and then Jericho trapping Samoa Joe in the walls of Jericho and leaving Joe laying. This was a great ending.
Edge Interview: This was a really entertaining segment with Maria being a little scared of Edge after seeing what happened to Christy Hemme earlier but Edge calms Maria down and then he pushes her right out of the camera shot, which totally ruled. By the way Edge's promo was good too.
Monty Brown video: I enjoyed seeing this, as I have always been a pretty big Monty Brown fan. I'm looking foward to seeing his debut.
Rhino vs. Edge vs. Benoit: This was a really great main event to close out what was an incredible show. Rhino was the first man eliminated leaving just Edge and Chris Benoit with Edge ultimately winning the match and becoming the first EPW champion which really felt like a special moment.
This was an amazing show, I give it 10 out of 10.
By the way, you can give my new BTB a look if you want.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
EPW Lives!!
Well, that was a short lived hiatus, huh?
As a famous man and one of my all-time favourite Professional Wrestlers once said:
“This is real, this is here, this is now… this is the second coming of EPW!!!”
Well, he said something close to that anyway. Anyway, as you can see. EPW is BACK! As you all know I had a brief tenure writing “When All Else Fails” with my mate, Apple Spitter but unfortunately he decided that he’d had enough of BTB for the time being, and I didn’t feel right continuing the thread of which AS had built up so well over time, so ultimately I have decided that I will be continuing with Evolution Pro Wrestling and ENSLAVED! I’m not all that upset that I’m not writing WWE anymore as I didn’t quite have the time to write 2 hour shows consistently nor do I have the passion for the WWE because I’m not a huge fan of it, hence the creation of EPW. I enjoy reading WWE BTBs but writing them is not for me. So the re-birth of EPW is upon you all, AS will even be chiming in behind the scenes with some suggestions and extra feedback, because he’s become a good mate of mine and I value his input.
Okay, now the formalities are out of the way. I’m going to do something totally UNCHARACTARISTIC of me. I’m actually going to set a date for the next, the return edition of Enslaved. I’ve never done this before and I never plan to do it again, so here we go. The next Enslaved will be posted on the 20th of December. Hopefully . Anyway, I’ve picked this date because it will be exactly one year since I posted the very first show in this thread, which was absolutely shit house having re-read it just now. So mark it on your calendars people, December 20. An early Xmas Present - The return of EPW’s Enslaved.
Now, I will be picking up EXACTLY where I left off. I’m not skipping anything. I’ve given that a bit of consideration purely because of the contentious Chris Benoit issue. You all know I was and still am a huge fan of Chris Benoit, the wrestler. I do in no way condone what he did in the final few days of his life, but I didn’t know Chris Benoit the person, I only knew him as the performer. So I still want to honour the memory of my favourite wrestler. So, Benoit will still be featured in this thread up until the next Pay Per View, titled Redemption. During that time, which is a 10 show period, Benoit will only be featured in 2 maybe 3 recapped matches, at most before the PPV match, which I hope is epic. If anyone does not wish to read anything involving Benoit, my message is simple, please don’t criticise or chastise me, like some have in the past, for making this decision, just don’t read the segments/matches that feature Chris Benoit. This way it can be best for both parties.
Just to refresh everyone’s memories, the results from the Out of Exile PPV were as follows:
Edge def. Chris Benoit & Rhino to win the EPW Championship @ 25:19
Samoa Joe def. Chris Jericho @ 25:30 in a Last Man Standing Match
Homicide & Hernandez def. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas to win the Tag Titles in a Ladder Match @ 23:02
CM Punk def. Austin Aries & Bryan Danielson to win the Pacific Championship @ 13:32
Christian Cage def. Brock Lesnar @ 18:04 to become Number 1 Contender to the EPW Title.
Colt Cabana def. Muhammad Hassan @ 12:07
Okay, they’re self explanatory. Just to refresh people on a few other things:
• Jamie Noble debuted at the PPV and unveiled his new intense, heel persona and locked Christy Hemme in the STF.
• CM Punk screwed Muhammad Hassan out of a win against Colt Cabana, thus signalling the commencement of a feud between the two.
• Bryan Danielson and Austin Aries are still very much involved in a feud.
• Christian Cage is the Number 1 Contender and will wrestle Edge for the World Title on the next Enslaved.
• Christian Cage and Chris Jericho have been getting tangled up in each others issues and problems of late. Christian even walked out on Jericho in a tag match after Jericho pulled Cage off a pinfall attempt.
• In case some of you are thick and haven’t realised, Paul Heyman is the boss. He is a face at the moment but is slowly developing into a tweener.
• A Vignette for Monty Brown ran at the PPV, but at this stage I’m undecided whether I want to continue with him or not, because before I went to join Apple Spitter, I had big plans for him but did not write them down so ultimately I’ve now completely forgotten what said plans were!
• Samoa Joe and Paul Heyman are in a Mini-feud of sorts, stemming from Joe’s frustration at not being granted an EPW Title shot. Joe is predominantly a heel, but he creeps into Tweener status occasionally.
• If you want the read the Roster, see who the Champions are or how EPW actually came about, click this link. http://www.wrestlingforum.com/booker...ml#post3260476
Also, before anyone asks, YES I did get permission to restart my thread inside 30 days. You're a good lad, 'Mac
I still have the majority of the planning done until at least the next PPV and I remember a lot of my further plans as well.
So here we are, the return of EPW, I hope to see some of my regulars like KOP, Legend, Boogeyman, Alim and AS back reading as well as all the new interest I recieved when the PPV was posted.
Anyways, some News and Notes will be posted in a few days time (when I think of some). Then a Preview will follow before the RETUN OF ENSLAVED ON THE 20th of DECEMBER!!
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
It's good to see that this thread has returned as your Out of Exile PPV was a great PPV, and I believe it won best PPV of the month back in October. With that said, looking forward to the next show in this thread, and it's good to see that you're continuing to book here in BTB.

Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
haha great, this was always better than yuor WWE writing and it's good to see you come back with this than carry on with the E one. Good luck starting it up again
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Just as i'm half way through your Smackdown review eh?
EPW lives, and damn this one'll bring something back. When I heard the news about AS I really thought the ball was in your court creatively and seeing you come back to your BTB roots so to speak is really nice to see. Roll on the 20th of December, because i'm definetly looking forward to it.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
I was almost going to continue with When All Else Fails to be honest mate, but it didn't feel right. It was and still is Apple Spitters thread, he created it, he made it loved and I didn't want to destroy it with my unorthodox style, plus I don't like WWE enough to book it. If I said that I had no desire at all to continue with When All Else Fails, I would be lying because there were a few storylines that I was enjoying writing and looking forward to writing.
Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
1 month please.
Naw, I'm cool with seeing you back to EPW. I find the majority of the WWE BTBs to be generic as they come, and WAEF was one of them. EPW will give you the chances to have an edge, and as long as you push Rhino, I'm happy
