Jim Ross: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Backlash. Along with me is my good ol friend, Jerry The King Lawler.
King: Thanks JR! and welcome all our fans to this greatest even ever, Backlash. JR, tonight is going to be one hell of a night.
JR: You are damn right King. Tonight history will be made when the WWE Champion, Randy Orton competes in a Tables,Ladders and Chairs match against the Rated R Superstar, Edge.
King: And the legend Bret Hart will go one on one with Kurt Angle which will be a epic battle, between the two of the most greatest superstars ever.
JR: King, i don't know about you but i just cant wait to get things started.
King: IM just excited as you are JR and lets begin the show.

It all started at WrestleMania 24.
Backstage at WrestleMania. Mr.Kennedy had some hard words exchange with the Hardy's.
In Hardy's Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania. Kennedy comes in and cost's them their chance to win the tag titles.
On Raw. Its Hardy's vs Kennedy in a handicap match.
On Smackdown. Kennedy finds a partner for himself who is MVP and both beats up the Hardy's real bad.
On Raw. Hardy's take revenge as they beat up Kennedy and MVP after they were in a match.
On Smackdown. Kennedy and MVP challenges Hardy's to a Interpromotional Tag Team match at Backlash.
On Raw. The Hardy's except their challenge.

JR: This rivalry has been going on since WrestleMania 24 where Kennedy had some heated words with the Hardy's which then made Kennedy interfere in the Hardy's match at WrestleMania and cost them the Tag Team Title's match. I wonder what will happen when these four are in the ring together.
KING: JR! IM just excited as you are and this rivalry has been heated up and now its become very dangerous. Both teams would do anything to win the match.
JR: Since Kennedy has the MITB briefcase i hope he doesn't mis use it in this match.
King: And you never know after tonight, Kennedy could be our WWE Champion, if he chose to cash in his MITB briefcase at the end of the night.
"Hardy's" music hits and they make their way to the ring with huge ovation from the crowd. Hardy's clap hands with the fans as they get in the ring and it looks like they both are ready to get the win. Hardy's get on the top turnbuckle and pose to the crowd as they get massive pop.
"MVP" music hits and outcomes the The Franchise Player, MVP. MVP comes out to huge boos to the crowd as he pose and the PYRO blows off and he walks down confidently and talks trash to the Hardy's as he wait for Kennedy.
"Kennedy" hits and outcomes MR.MITB with huge boos from the crowd. Kennedy is all laughing and is happy as he stands near MVP and both talks a bit before getting to the ring as Kennedy keeps his MITB infront of his eyes under the corner turnbuckle.
1)Inter promotional Tag Team Match
The Hardy's vs. Mr.Kennedy and MVP
Matt and Kennedy start it out. Lock up but Kennedy rushes Matt into the corner. Another lock up ensues but Matt with a side headlock take down and holds in a headlock. Kennedy with some elbow to the mid-section of Matt and Kennedy follows with a running elbow and a right hand punch knocking Matt down. Kennedy laughs and then goes to Matt but Matt with punches and hip toss to Kennedy and hits a right hand to MVP and another side headlock takeover to Kennedy for a two count on. Kennedy quickly tags to MVP but Matt slams MVP and nails a fist drop and tags out to Jeff who nails a dropkick over the top rope and tags out back to Matt. The Hardy's nail a leg drop/elbow drop combination and a flip elbow leg drop for a two count. Jeff nails the whisper in the wind and covers but Kennedy breaks up the count. Matt clotheslines Kennedy over the top rope and Jeff jumps on top of Matt's back and catipults himself launching a cross body unto Kennedy and MVP on the outside. Matt nails an elbow to MVP in the ring for two. Matt with a clothesline but MVP comes back with a blow to Matt's back. Kennedy and MVP throw Matt back first into the corner multiple times.
Kennedy tags in but Matt counters with a Russian leg sweep and tags to Jeff. Jeff dropkicks Kennedy to the outside and goes to nail a dropkick through the ropes but Kennedy pulls Jeff back first out ringside. In the ring Kennedy hits a Inverted superplex to Jeff for two count. Kennedy with a Side slam back breaker and covers but Matt breaks the pin. Kennedy then talks trash to Matt before he tags MVP. Kennedy throws MVP into a leg drop to Jeff for a two count. MVP then hits a German suplex on Jeff for a close two count. MVP with a sleeper hold to Jeff who then fights out but MVP counters with a swinging neck breaker for another two. Tag to Kennedy and Kennedy nails fists to Jeff's back. Kennedy with a Spike DDT for a two count. Kennedy argues with the ref it was a three count but ref says no as Kennedy then sends Jeff in the corner and hits a hard running clothesline to Jeff which brings Jeff down to the lower turnbuckle and Kennedy doesn't wastes any time as he bounces of the ropes and hits a Face wash as Kennedy smiles and talks trash to the fans but gets big heat from the fans. Kennedy covers and gets a very close two count. Tag to MVP. Jeff surprises MVP with an inside cradle for a two count. MVP with a big boot for two. Tag to Kennedy but Jeff fights back and Kennedy tags back out to MVP who comes in with a Face breaker knee smash and covers Jeff but gets a close two count. MVP sends Jeff into the corner and charges at him and connects with the running big boot to the face of Jeff. MVP covers but Matt breaks the pin as MVP gets angry. MVP then hits his famous Ballin' Elbow.
MVP covers but this time Jeff is able to kick out before the three count. He tags back out to Kennedy who nails a snapmare and applies a sleeper hold but Jeff fights out and nails a jaw breaker. Kennedy tags MVP who nails a back suplex to Jeff. MVP with a Snap overhead belly to belly suplex and quickly covers but Jeff gets his foot on the ropes before the three count, this was very close as MVP thought he won and he had a long argument with the ref as he Tag back to Kennedy. Kennedy slaps Jeff and smiles as he talks trash to Matt. Kennedy whips Jeff into the ropes and Jeff ducks a right hand and stops their as Kennedy turns around and Jeff with a reverse mule kick. Jeff goes to tag Matt but MVP quickly comes in and takes out Matt with a forearm. Kennedy then drags Jeff back to his corner and tags MVP. MVP with a Three–quarter face lock but Jeff refuses to tap and MVP followed by multiple side knee lifts to the opponent's head before giving the tag to Kennedy. Kennedy with Hangman's neck breaker and Kennedy makes his way to the top and goes for the Kenton Bomb but Jeff gets out of the way as Kennedy lands hard on the mat. Finally, Matt makes the hot tag who nails a running clothesline and bulldog for two. Matt nails the side effect and covers but MVP breaks up the count. Kennedy nails a Forward Russian leg sweep for a two count. Kennedy then goes for the Mic Check but Matt counters and nails the twist of fate. Matt quickly covers. 1...2...thre and MVP breaks the pin, saving the match for his team.
A furious Matt then hits some right hands to MVP followed by a bulldog-clothesline combo and the Side Effect on both MVP and Kennedy. Matt proceeded to slam Kennedy and hit him with the second rope leg drop for a near fall. Matt tags Jeff and the two tried for their neck breaker-top rope powerbomb combo, but MVP got Matt out of the way, allowing Kennedy to take Jeff back to the mat with a Green Bay Plunge. Both are down as Kennedy slowly covers Jeff. 1...2....thr but Matt from nowhere breaks the pin. Matt unloads with hard right hands to Kennedy but as he turns around he is met by MVP with the Drive–By Kick. MVP taunts to Matt and as he turns around, Jeff hits the Twist Of Fate then takes his shirt out. The ref then checks on both Matt and MVP and Jeff goes to Kennedy but Kennedy with a low blow then quickly gets his MITB briefcase which was in the corner and hits the MIC Check to Jeff on his MITB Briefcase. Kennedy quickly yells at the ref and covers Jeff. 1...2....three.
Winner: Kennedy and MVP
King: What a match and most importantly Smackdown won, thanks to Kennedy as he is a Raw superstar but before that he was on Smackdown and Raw stole a great talent from Smackdown.
Jr: What the heck are you talking about King, This really was a amazing match and i hate the fact that Kennedy used his MITB Briefcase to win the match and Raw didn't stole anybody, infact Raw got a cheater superstar like Kennedy.
King: What ever JR.
JR: This is just unacceptable. That was very cheap of Kennedy, The Hardy's had this match won but Kennedy and MVP cheated to win.
King: I hate to see Raw brand got the lost but we should not forget that Kennedy now is a Raw superstar so it was him who won the match for his team not MVP so from where i see it, Raw still won JR.
Aftermath: Kennedy and MVP celebrates their big win as the Hardy's are down. The fans are booing Kennedy and MVP like crazy. Kennedy and MVP are all smiling as both pose to the crowd and Kennedy kisses his MITB briefcase as they both make their way to the back and in the ring, Matt checks on his brother Jeff.
Backstage Maria is with Santino Marella
Maria: Santino, how do you feel about your big match tonight as you will be among the three other superstars to compete for the IC?
Santino: You see my beautiful and lovely Maria! Tonight is the night when history will be made. Because right here tonight, Santino Marella wins his first ever WWE Title.
Booos
Maria: Since you are so confident about winning your match tonight but what you have to say about your three other opponents, CM Punk, Shelton Benjamin and Carlito?
Santino: Ahhh. CM Punk. You know it surprises me to see a guy whose name is CM Punk and he is a IC Champion. Because after tonight he will not be known as CM Punk but he will be known as just a Stupid no good Punk. and who was the second guy...thinks.....
Maria: Shelton Benjamin.
Santino: Ohh yes. how can forget him. He Say's there is no stopping him but after tonight, everyone i mean even the dogs and the donkey's will be stopping him because that's what he has good at. Because there is no chance of Shelton stupid Benjamin winning the IC Championship. And who was the third guy, Charlie Hass.

Maria: No its not Charlie Haas. Its Carlito.
Santino: oh yes yes. the guy who likes to spit apple on those who are not Koool? You see if i had a apple right now in my hand, i would have spit right on his face and say your not Coool, you fool.

Santino: So tonight when its all said and done Santino Marella will become your new Intercontinental ChampYon.

JR: This match will be brutal and vicious and it will be pure violence because right here, it will be the The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying Maniac" Sabu going one on one against the Hardcore Champion M.Hassan.
King: I cant wait for this match, this rivalry has its up and downs and what a match this is going to be. Hassan has been a impressive Hardcore Champion and JR he has held onto that title for almost three months.
JR: That is a great achievement King. Hassan has what it takes to be the greatest Hardcore Champion ever and on the other hand, we have Sabu who will do anything, i mean anything to win the match and the Hardcore Title.
King: This Sabu guy is a legend and if Hassan beats Sabu here tonight, he will officially be known as the greatest Hardcore Champion ever.
Sabu music hits and he makes his way to the ring to a thunderous ovation from the crowd. Sabu stands on the ramp and points his finger up as he makes his way to the ring as he gets great ovation from the crowd. Sabu pose to the crowd and waits for his opponent to come out.
"Arabia" hits and here comes the Hardcore Champion along with his manager, Davari. He is getting massive heat from the crowd as Hassan looks at the fans then spits at the side as he makes his way to the ring and talking trash to the fans as he gets in the ring and pose and gets his Hardcore title high in the air and stares Sabu as Sabu looks at his title.
JR: finally the match is underway and i cant wait.
King: This is going to be one hell of a match.
2)Hardcore Title Match
Sabu vs Muhammad Hassan(c) w/Davari
Just as the bell ring, Sabu attacked Hassan and nailed him in the back and then stomped away at him. Hassan was tossed to the outside and Davari checked on Hassan and Haasan got back inside the ring. Hassan then eye raked Sabu and sent Sabu to the corner and nailed a Snap suplex for two. Sabu was tossed out by Hassan and Davari hit some kicks to Sabu before sending him inside the ring. Hassan hit some right hands on Sabu and then nailed a back elbow for another two. Hassan again tossed Sabu out and Davari went on to kick him again but this time, Sabu got a kendo stick from under the ring and beat Davari with it as the fans cheered for him. Sabu then went to the ring as Hassan looked in a worry and Hassan goes to beat Sabu with a right hand but Sabu nailed him in the head with the kendo stick! Sabu then hit him some more with the stick until it broke in half. Sabu covered but got a two count only. Sabu then went outside and threw two chairs in the ring followed by two more chairs. Sabu enter the ring but Hassan hit him with the chair right on the head. Hassan quickly covered but got a two count. Hassan then spits in the corner as he taunts and pose to the crowd but gets a loud booos from the crowd.
Hassan then hit a Belly to belly suplex and covered him but got a two count only. Hassan then choked him with his boot. Hassan distracted the referee as Davari choked the Undertaker. Hassan hit a straight DDT for a near fall and then gouged at the face of Sabu before locking in a rear naked choke. Sabu backed Hassan into the ropes and hit a knee to the gut and then the two traded right hands with Sabu coming out on top. Sabu came back with a dropkick to the knee and then Sabu tossed a chair right in the head of Hassan. Hassan rolled to the outside and Sabu followed out. Sabu pulled a table from under the ring and set it up on the apron and guardrail. Sabu got Hassan onto the table and then set a chair up in the ring and went for a splash but Hassan rolled off the table and Sabu hit the guardrail. Hassan sent Sabu head first into the ring steps and then back into the ring. Hassan hit a double axe handle to the standing Sabu for a near fall. Sabu then hit a knee to the head of Hassan on the apron and then laid him over the middle rope and hit a Guillotine leg drop for two. Sabu locked in the Camel Clutch but Hassan didn't tap out and Sabu release the hold and then went back under the ring and pulled out a table. Sabu got in the ring and quickly tossed a chair into Hassan’s face and two more chair shots and the Arabian Facebuster followed for a two count. Sabu went and got a table. Sabu set it up in the corner, allowing HassanFace buster to recover and go for the Reverse STO but Sabu hit him with some elbow's and hit a top rope bulldog. He then placed a chair in the center of the ring as Hassan inched closer to the table in the corner. Sabu came vaulting off the chair and smashed Hassan’s face thru the table with a facebuster. Hassan, who was busted open at that point and the fans chant"holy shit". Sabu covered. 1...2...and Hassan kicks out at the last moment.
Sabu went back to the outside takes out another table and sets up the table. Sabu was then dropkicked off the apron onto the table by Hassan and then Hassan hit a flying cross body over the top onto Sabu through the table! Fan chants"ouch". Hassan covered but got a close two count. Davari helped Hassan get to his feet as Hassan sent Sabu into the ring. Hassan then locked in a Camel Clutch on Sabu but Sabu was able break it. Hassan got Sabu in a front face lock and Sabu fought out with right hands to the gut. Hassan then hit a Back suplex backbreaker for another near fall. Hassan then got Sabu in the Camel Clutch again, this time in the middle of the ring. Hassan puts more pressure to it but the Genocidal hangs on as Hassan finally break the hold and then stomped Sabu and kicked him in the head and made the cover for two. Hassan hit some right hands and then scored with a suplex for two.
Hassan then goes outside and takes out a steel chain follwed by a trash can. Hassan gets in the ring and Sabu who was on his knees trying to get up. Hassan hit him with the trash can followed by two more shot to the face. Hassan taunts then gets the steel chair in the center of the ring and gets Sabu and nails the Reverse STO on the steel chair which causes Sabu to bleed. Hassan then smiles and covers Sabu. 1...2...thre but Sabu kicks out at the last moment. Hassan can't believe it and he is mad at the ref. Hassan then grabs the steel chain and wraps around his fist as he taunts and talks trash to the fans and gets massive heat. Hassan wait for Sabu to get up and just as Sabu got to his feet, Hassan went to hit him with the steel chain but Sabu ducked and tossed the chair right across, Hassan face. Both are down as moments later Sabu got to his feet and Sabu once more tossed a steel chair into Hassan’s face, and followed with a top rope drop kick using the chair for added impact. It didn’t even earn him a two-count as Davari came in to make the save and sabu took out Davari with hard right hand and went on to hit him with a chair shot but Davari quickly got outside the ring and ran to the back and stops at the entrance ramp.
Sabu then went outside and took out another table and bring it to the ring and sets it up in the center. Sabu then hit a DDT to Hassan on the chair as Sabu got Hassan to his feet and Sabu went on to hit the springboard Tornado DDT onto the table. Fans break out a Holy Shit chant.
Sabu slowly covers Hassan. 1...2...thre and Davari once again breaks the pin and saves Hassan from loosing his precious Hardcore Title. This time, Sabu gets hold of Davari and beats him up with hard chair shots to the back.
Sabu then hit a springboard leg drop for another two count. Sabu sent Hassan to the corner and then set up a chair and went for a splash and connects with it. Sabu followed by a springboard heel kick on Hassan. Sabu then hit the triple jump moonsault and covered for a close two count. Sabu went to the middle rope for an Atomic Arabian face buster but Hassan moved. Hassan sat Sabu on the chair and then hit a running boot to the face. Hassan covered but got a two count only. Hassan who has blood on his face, then hits the Camel Clutch with the steel chain. Sabu tries to get out of it but Hassan holds on and puts more and more pressure to it as Sabu puts his best effort to reach the ropes but Hassan is not letting him go as Sabu starts bleeding from the mouth aswell. Sabu is fading out as Hassan screams at him to tap out and Hassan puts more pressure to it. Sabu is gone, he has faded out and he is not even moving as Hassan has still the Camel Clutch lock on him and not letting him go and the ref calls for the bell.
Winner: by knockout And Still Hardcore Champion M.Hassan
JR: IM speechless King. What a brutal and vicious match this was, absolutely total violence match.
King: JR, to be honest. I loved every bit of it and why wouldn't I. This match had all the things that is needed to put on a greatest hardcore match.
JR: M.Hassan once again has proved to the world that he indeed is the greatest Hardcore Champion ever in WWE History. He has been holding onto that title for more then three months.
King: No doubt about that JR. He has proved to everyone that he is the best of the best when it comes to Hardcore matches. But, we should not forget, The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying Maniac" Sabu put on, one of the best matches of his career i would say but sad for him , he couldn't win the Hardcore Title here tonight.
JR: I think, Sabu was phenomenal in this match, the way he wrestled in this match, it really showed how much passion and the love he still has for this business and he would do anything, i mean anything to win the match and tonight he just did that but unfortunately for him, he couldn't win the match tonight.
Aftermath: Hassan has blood all over his face as he spits it out and raise his hands high in victory as the ref hands him the Hardcore title. Davari is outside and starts to get up slowly as Hassan is down on the mat and tries to get back up as he surely is tired and hurt but he manages to get to his feet again and pose to the crowd but gets a "USA chant". Sabu is still outcold as the medics run to the ring to check on him as Hassan outside gets Davari and both head to the back as Hassan stops on the entrance ramp and once more, hold his Title high in the air before leaving to the back. the medics checks on Sabu and gets him on the stretcher and the fans are continuously chanting for SABU. In the mid way, Sabu gets of the stretcher and gets to his feet as he is still not 100% but he walks slowly and gets a massive pop from the crowd and he has blood all over his face as he makes his way to the back.
Bret is in his locker room and Y2J comes in.
Crowd pops.
Bret: Hi, Chris! How are you doing?
Chris: IM doing good and how are you doing?
Bret: Fine.
Chris: Are you ready for your match tonight against Kurt Angle.?
Bret: IM 100% ready and tonight i will go out their and give my best and i know this match will the toughest match of my life because i will be facing Kurt Angle who i think is a excellent wrestler and a great competitor so tonight i will beat him and prove to the world that IM still the best there is, the best there was and the best there will be.
Huge pop
Chris: Tonight in your match. I will be the special referee and i will make sure, Kurt doesn't tries any of his dirty tricks to beat you.
Bret: Thanks a lot for that Chris and i really appreciate it and i hope you call that match, fair and square.
Chris: I will and may the best man wins tonight.

Chris and Bret then shake hands as Chris leaves and Bret stays looking at him.
JR: This match is for the Women's Title and its Mickie James vs Candice Michelle.
King: This is going to be a great match and both are my favorite divas and JR you know how much i love Divas.
JR: King save it for later and i cant wait for this match to get started.
King: Neither can I.
"Candice" music hits and Candice Michelle comes out in pink and white and looking smoking hot. She gets massive pop as she clap some hands with the fans and she stops to a little boy and gives her a nice kiss on the cheek as the kid is smiling and loving it. Candice then make her way to the ring and gets on the apron and pose to the crowd as she is getting more and more cheers. Candice goes to the top and pose again and then Wait's for her opponent to come out.
"Mickie" music hits and outcomes the Women's Champion and she is getting massive heat. Mickie then stares at Candice as she gets in the ring and hold her Title high in the air and then kisses it and tells Candice. You wont get this.
3)Candice vs Mickie James
Candice looks amazing and Mickie doesn't look bad herself. The two tied up and Mickie with a go behind and slammed Candice in the back of the head but Candice nailed a back elbow and then some forearm shots followed by the Thesz press and then some right hands. The two locked up again and Mickie with a knee and wrist lock takedown. Mickie turns it into a hammerlock and pushes Candice hard to the mat. Candice with a side headlock takeover for a two count. Mickie locks in a body scissors but Candice very nicely rolls forward into a two count. Mickie bridges up and backslides Candice for two as well. Candice with a snapmare and flips forward driving Mickie's head to the mat. Candice with a fireman carry and bridges Mickie for a two count.
Candice stomped away at Mickie in the corner and then nailed her with a chop. Candice nailed more chops in the corner and then Mickie went for a side kick but Candice grabbed the leg and pulled Mickie and forced her to do the splits. Candice then hits a Bridging Northern Lights suplex for a close two count. Candice then hit her famous! Go Daddy dance followed by an elbow drop for one count only.
Mickie rolled to the outside and Candice gave her a dropkick through the ropes and then went for a kick on the outside but Mickie moved and Candice nailed the ring post. Mickie sent Candice back inside and wrapped her leg around the ring post. Candice and Mickie traded right hands in the ring and then Mickie nailed a low dropkick to the knee. Mickie hit a snap on the knee and covered for two as the fans chanted “Let’s Go Candice”. Mickie then hit a Arm trap neck breaker slam for a close two count.
Mickie followed with Snapmare into a baseball slide to the face. Mickie smiles and covered for another two count. Mickie worked over the leg in the corner around the ropes and then Candice kicked her off but Mickie came back with a stomp and then drove the knee right into the mat.
Mickie locked in a half Boston crab and then pulled the hair and the referee forced the break and then Mickie covered for two. Mickie continued to work the leg and tied Candice up in the ropes again and stomped right down on the back of the knee. Candice is mega over here tonight as the fans cheers for Candice. Mickie went back to the leg and with a knee hold but then Candice countered with a whirly bird head scissors. Candice came back with forearm shots followed by a dropkick and nails a spinning heel kick for another two count and Mickie is getting booed! Candice nailed a clothesline and then a Forward Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Candice followed it by a Hurricanrana for another two count. Candice pose to the crowd as she gets massive pops. Candice then goes up to the top and nails a beautiful crossbody into the pin. 1...2...and Mickie kicks out. Candice holds her head as she asks the ref, if it was a three count. Carlito won a match against Shelton Benjamin to become the no.1 contender for Intercontinental Championship.
It was Carlito vs CM Punk for the Intercontinental Title when Shelton came in and start beating up both Carlito and CM Punk. Shelton then was added into the Carlito vs CM Punk match to make it a Triple Threat match at Backlash.
Santino teamed up with Shelton to beat Carlito and CM Punk and then Santino requested Raw GM, Stone Cold. For a shot at the Intercontinental Title but Austin put him in a match with the Intercontinental Champion, CM Punk where Santino won and got himself a ticket for Backlash and the match was then changed to Fatal Four Way for Intercontinental Championship.

King: I think since CM Punk is a Smackdown superstar now so he would want to take the Intercontinental Title with him to Smackdown and he would do anything to keep it with himself do my money is on CM Punk.

"Fire Burns" hits and here comes the Intercontinental Champion CM Punk to a great ovation from the crowd.Punk claps some hands with the fans on his way to the ring. Punk gets in the ring and pose to the crowd as he gets huge pop. Punk then looks at his opponents and hold his Intercontinental Title, high in the air and takes a look at it and kisses it before giving it to the ref.

Just as the bell rings, Santino got on the apron and talked trash to his opponents and decided to go outside but Carlito knocked Santino off the apron and Benjamin rolled Carlito but Punk break the pin. Punk hit right hands to Benjamin and Carlito joined Punk and both beat up Shelton before tossing him outside on Santino who just got to his feet. Punk and Carlito looked at each other then gets on with it and both exchange right and left hand as Carlito got most of it and Carlito whip Punk into the ropes but Punk ducks a right hand and bounce of the ropes and this time Carlito jumps over as Punk bounces off the ropes again and again ducks a right hand from Carlito and this time as Punk bounce of the ropes, Carlito hits a beautiful drop kick for two. From behind, Shelton comes in and beat up Carlito as he worked Carlito over and sent him to the ropes but Carlito came back with a roll up for two. Benjamin nailed some right hands and Carlito with another cradle for two. Carlito with a side headlock takedown and Benjamin rolled him over into a two count. Santino got in the ring and Carlito nailed him with a back drop with Benjamin still in the headlock. Santino is back in the ring and and Punk hit him with a half calf kick sending him again outside the ring. Benjamin nailed Carlito with a super kick and Punk took over on Benjamin.
Carlito is laying on the mat neat the ropes as Santino gets him outside and beat him with right hands and nailed a knee to the gut and then Carlito came back with right hands and kicks. Santino then whipped Carlito into the steel post and talk trash to him. In the ring, Benjamin with a kick to the head of Punk and Santino is in the ring and hit a clothesline sending Benjamin outside.Santino then hit some right hands to Punk who is on the mat. Santino then hits a suplex and cover but got a two count. Santino then hit a Leg–feed enzuigiri for a near fall. Santino taunts then pose to the crowd as he tells them, he will be the new IC Champion. tonight. As he gets boos from the crowd. Santino then hit a Jawbreaker followed by Diving headbutt, preceded by a salute and quickly cover but got a two count. Santino then went to the top but Benjamin quickly got to the ring and ran at Santino and jumped to get on the top turnbuckle aswell and hit a beautiful superplex of the top. Punk cover Santino. 1...2...th and Santino amazingly kicks out and everyone looks surprised even the ref. Shelton then from nowhere hits a T–Bone Suplex to Punk and cover him. 1..2...and Santino break the pin and wants to pin him. 1...2... and Shelton then hit T–Bone Suplex to Santino aswell. From behind Carlito hits Shelton which makes him furious. Shelton then fights back and blocks a right hand from Carlito and hit the T–Bone Suplex to Carlito aswell. Shelton is fire up. Shelton cover Carlito. 1...2...and Carlito kicks out. Shelton hold his head in frustration. Shelton gets up and taunts and yells at his opponents. Punk got up aswell as Santino and Shelton hits a Super Kick to Punk but Punk ducks and Shelton hits the Super Kick to Santino. Punk then lifts Shelton up on his shoulder's and goes for the Go To Sleep but from behind, Carlito hit his Back cracker to Punk. Shelton quickly covers but Carlito breaks the pin and Carlito and Shelton gets in a argument as Carlito Say's i hit my finisher on him and i will beat him and both trade right and left hands with Carlito getting most of it as Carlito hits a Running knee lift to the side of the head followed by a clothesline. Carlito then whips Shelton into the ropes but instead Shelton counters whips Carlito into the ropes and Carlito ducks a right hand and goes into the ropes again but this time Carlito hits the springboard back elbow. Carlito covers but Santino drags him from his leg and hits a STO to Carlito. Santino covers. 1...2...and Carlito kicks out. Santino then goes to hit the vertical suplex on Shelton but Shelton counters and lands on his feet and hits a neck breaker.
Shelton looks back and Punk hits a Double under hook back breaker for a near fall. Punk then hits Carlito with a Hurricanrana. Punk covers but Carlito kicks out. Santino from behind hits some right hands to Punk then hits him with his signature move. Battering ram . Santino quickly covers but gets a two count only. Santino yells at the ref that it was a three count and Santino starts pushing the ref as the ref tell him to stop it otherwise he will DQ him. Santino then quickly goes to hit his finisher on Punk, the Snap swinging neck breaker but Punk counters and hits his finisher instead, Anaconda Vise. Punk has locked him and Santino is screaming in pain as he shouts for help but no one is helping him out here as he is on his own and PUNK applies more presurre to it and finally, Santino dreams of becoming the Intercontinental Champion is over as he taps out and Santino is eliminated.

Fans chant"good bye" to Santino. Carlito then send Punk outside and followed him. Carlito catapulted Punk outside and then Carlito got on the apron as Punk tripped Carlito and then sent him into the ring post. Benjamin is back up and hits a Spine buster on the outside on Punk. Shelton then talks trash to the fans as he gets loud boos. Punk and Benjamin traded right hands on the outside and in the ring Carlito hit a springboard plancha onto both men on the outside! Carlito then hits Punk with the Lifting reverse STO. Carlito quickly sent Punk back into the ring and covered but got a close two count. Carlito nailed a big chop on Punk and then sent him to the ropes but missed a back elbow and then Punk nailed a tilt a whirl into a side Russian leg sweep and covered for two. Benjamin is still down on the outside as Punk hit some mounted right hands. Punk then hits a Snap scoop powerslam pin for a close two count. Punk then send Carlito into the corner and hits a running high knee strike to Carlito in the corner followed by a running bulldog. Punk cover and gets a close two count again. Punk pose to the crowd as he gets loud pops. Punk sent Carlito to the ropes but Carlito went for a springboard but Punk moved and then Carlito hit a Flowing DDT. Carlito covers but gets a two count only. Carlito run through the ropes and Benjamin came in with a flapjack on Carlito and covered for two. Benjamin went for the Exploder on Punk but Punk blocked by holding the ropes and then Benjamin threw him to the outside.
Benjamin went back to Carlito and goes for a suplex but Carlito blocks and hits right hands to Shelton. Shelton then with a eye rake to Carlito and Shelton hits the Inverted face lock back breaker for a two count only. Benjamin sent Carlito to the ropes and hit a nice Samoan Drop for a two count. Punk then got in the ring and hammered with right hands on Benjamin and then sent him to the corner. Benjamin came back with a snake eyes on Punk and covered but got a close two count. Benjamin thinks he has won and then Carlito comes from behind with a victory roll for two. Carlito sent Benjamin to the corner and then sent Punk in as well but Punk hit a monkey flip on Benjamin into a dropkick by Carlito for a very close two count. Shelton was almost out of this match but he got saved. Punk hit some right hands and then perched Carlito on the top rope. Benjamin shake the ropes crotching Punk and then Carlito nailed him with right hands. Benjamin leapt up to the top and we saw an insane triple suplex type move with Punk upside down in the corner. It’s real hard to explain. Anyway, all three men are down as Punk slowly covers for a very close two count on Benjamin. Punk then covers Carlito and again got a close two count. Punk can't believe it. Punk then sent Benjamin to the corner but ran into a boot followed by the Dragon whip to both Punk and Carlito. Shelton quickly covers but got a two count only. Shelton taunts as he talks trash to both of them but Carlito is back in with left hands to both men. Carlito with a roll up on Benjamin for two and then Punk took over on Carlito as Punk rolls up Carlito for two count.
Carlito then hit a springboard double back elbow on both men and then hits a Springboard corkscrew senton followed by a springboard moonsault on both of them and covered both but both kick out before the three count. Big pop for Carlito by the fans. Carlito then placed Shelton on the top turnbuckle and hit some right hands and hits a awsome! Frankensteiner. Carlito covers and Shelton kicks out and Carlito can't believe it as he asks the ref that it was a three count but ref replies no. Punk then attacked Carlito and sent him to the ropes but Carlito held on and then low bridged sending Punk outside. Benjamin then hit a roundhouse kick to the back of Carlito’s head for two. Benjamin argued with the referee. Carlito went for a Lifting reverse STO but Benjamin reversed and then Carlito went for his Back Cracker but Shelton hold on the ropes which causes Carlito fall hard on the mat. Punk gets to his feet and he levels Shelton with a big right hand. Shelton with a knee to the gut on Punk, and hits a Tornado DDT. cover, but a close two count. Both then exchange right hands in the corner. Shelton breaks it up dropping Punk with an Cobra clutch backbreaker. Shelton covers but gets a two count only. Shelton then applies a headlock as Punk tries to move out of it. Shelton takes Punk's back and applies a body scissors with a sleeper. Punk starts getting to his feet. Shelton kills any momentum with a quick powerslam on Punk, followed by Dragon whip. Shelton then starts stalking Punk. Punk is on his feet. Shelton attempts the Pay Dirt, but Punk throws Shelton away. Both men are down. The referee begins the count. Both get to their feet by 9. Big high knee to the head by Punk to Shelton. Punk with Repeated slaps, backhand chops and a spinning open-handed backfist, followed by a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Punk hits a big spinning wheel kick, cover, but only a two count. Punk with a springboard clothesline to Shelton but Shelton counters it into a beautifull T-Bone suplex. Both are down again as Shelton slowly covers Punk. 1...2...thre but Punk kicks out, Shelton is furious as he argues with the ref then goes outside and grabs a steel chair. Shelton has the steel chair in his hand and is standing near the apron and is just getting inside the ring when Punk hits the baseball slide as the chair goes straight into the face of Shelton. Punk then launches Shelton onto the announce table. Punk then tosses Shelton again on the announce table. Shelton fights back, sending Punk face first into the ring barricade. Shelton breaks apart the steel steps, bringing the bottom half towards Punk. Shelton goes to hit the T-Bone suplex on the steps but Punk blocks and hits a DDT to Shelton on the steel steps! Big pop for Punk from the crowd. Punk then sends Shelton to the ring and covers him. 1....2....thre and Shelton has his foot on the ropes and Punk can't believe it. Punk is furious as he hits Anaconda Vise on Shelton. Shelton is screaming in pain as he is near the ropes and tries to get his feet to the ropes as Punk puts more and more pressure to it. Finally Shelton is about to tap out but Shelton got his foot on the ropes and Punk is forced to release the hold. Punk then gets on the apron and this time connects with the Springboard diving clothesline. Punk then goes for the Go To Sleep but Shelton counters and goes for the T-Bone Suplex and Punk blocks and gets out of it and once again goes for the Go To Sleep and Punk is about to hit it when Shelton jumps of his shoulders and goes for the Pay Dirt but Punk counters it into a power bomb/ Punk covers. 1...2...and Shelton kicks out and the fans aswell can't believe it, what a match!. Punk on his knees then looks at the fan then looks at the ref as he goes to the top. Shelton is on his feet as Punk goes for the diving clothesline from the turnbuckle but Shelton counter's it into a beautifull and amazing Pay Dirt. Shelton finally is able to hit the Pay Dirt but this time he caught Punk in the mid air. Shelton quickly cover's. 1....2....and THREE.
Winner: And the New Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin
JR: King, I am absolutely speechless. I dont know what to say at this moment, this was totally a breath taking match.
King: Absolutely JR! This was a magnificent match and what great moments did we have in this match and most important JR. We got the Intercontinental Title on Raw. Which means the United States Title and the Intercontinental Title are both on Raw.
JR:That's a great acheivement for Raw and i wonder what will happen next as tonight we got a new Intercontinental Champion: Shelton Benjamin. What a athelete he is and tonight he really proved that there Aint no Stoppin Shelton Benjamin.
King: Shelton was great in this match and Shelton used all the rules in his book to win this match and he did, and CM PUNK put up a great fight aswell, he fight till the end like a Champion and still didnt wanted to loose his precious IC Title but JR, someone had to win tonight.
JR: And we should not forget, Carlito and Santino were great aswell, they did loose but there were times when both of them came this close to Eliminate the IC Champion.
King: This match will go down in history aas one of the best Fatal Four Way matches.
JR: This is the last time we will see CM Punk in the Raw arena as he was drafted to Smackdown and from now on, he will be on Smackdown and that is a huge loss for Raw.
King: No doubt about that but atleast he is not taking the Intercontinental Championship with him to smackdown so thats a plus point for us and all thanks to the new Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin.
Aftermath: Shelton is on his feet and he looks very happy as he gets his hand raise by the ref and he is awarded the Intercontinental Championship. Shelton Benjamin holds the Title tightly and raise it high in the air as the fans cheer for him for putting up a great effort in this match. Shelton gets on the turnbuckle and pose to the crowd as Punk gets to his feet aswell and he looks pissed of and Shelton turns around he see Punk standing and looking at him with anger. After both staring each other for a while, the fans are going nuts and finally, Punk forward his hand for a hand shake and Shelton looks at him then looks at the fan and smiles as he shake hands with CM Punk. Punk goes to leave but Shelton turns him around and hits a T-Bone Suplex and Shelton laughs as he stands over Punk and raise his Title high in the air as fans booos him out of the building.

King: IM not sure if these two will get along really well because Kane doesn't talks much and Finlay is all about fighting so it will be interesting to see how they make as a tag team
JR: On the other hand, we have got the Tag Team Champions who are holding the Titles for a long time and i hope tonight Kane and Finlay wins it from them.
King: Are you Serious JR? I think Foley and Christian are a great tag team and they have proved it before aswell and they will prove it now aswell.
JR: Just this past week on Raw, we saw how Kane and Finlay worked as a tag team and King, they both looked Impressive.
"Rated R Superstars" music hits and out comes the tag Team Champions. Christian and Foley to a massive boos from the crowd. Both acts arrogant and cocky as they make their way to the ring with big smiles on their face. They enter the ring and pose to the crowd and hold their title's high in the air as they get huge boos from the crowd.
Finlay music hits and the Irishman comes out along this HornsWoggle and the fans love him as the cheer for Finlay and HW. Finlay stops by the ringside and tells HW to go under the ring as Finlay kicks him in the back and sends him under the ring.
"Kane" music hits and outcomes Kane with a slightly new Mask as Kane prepare his gloves and gets huge pop from the crowd. Kane and Finlay then talks to each other and both goes to the ring.
5)Tag Team Championship Match
Christian & Mick Foley vs Finlay and Kane
The faces ran in together and cleared the ring, before Christian and Finlay squared off. Finlay back body dropped the charismatic Christan. Finlay then hits a suplex followed by one more as he hit his reverse splash for two count. Finlay then hits the rib breaker for a near fall. Finlay tags Kane. Kane with uppercuts and nails an elbow to Christian. Kane with a body slam and continues his assault on Christian. Kane with knees to Christian and a shoulder tackle to Christian in the corner. Kane chokes Christian in the ropes with his knees. Kane then sends Christian to the corner and runs at him but Christian gets a boot up and goes up top but Kane clocks him with a big boot and Christian falls to the outside. Foley then checks on Christian as Kane wants to go out but the ref says no to him but Kane eventually goes outside and beat up both Foley and Christian. Kane then send Christian into the ring and Kane goes up top but Christian pushes Kane and Kane lands hard rib first into the top turnbuckle.
Christian then tags Foley and both combine hits a doubles superplex to Kane from the second rope. Foley covers but gets a two count only. Foley then hits some right hands to Kane followed by a knee drop to the head. Foley then hit a running neck breaker to Kane for a near fall. Foley then sends Kane in the corner and charges at him but Kane gets his boot up and Kane follows with a hard clothesline. Both are down as Foley manages to tag Christian and Kane just tags Finlay. Finlay comes in and takes out Christian with hard right hands and a scoop slam followed by the body splash he does. Finlay then hits a right hand to Foley who was on the apron. Finlay then turns around and Christian runs at him but Finlay hits a back breaker to Christian. 1...2... and Foley breaks the pin. Finlay then yells at Foley as Finlay then whips Christian into the ropes and hits a Kneeling belly to belly pile driver followed by some elbow drops to the back. Finlay covers again but Christian kicks out. Finlay covers but Christian this time is able to kick out. Finlay then places Christian on the top turnbuckle and gets himself to the top aswell and Finlay goes for the superplex but Christian fights back and Finlay also fights back as Finlay hit some head butts to Christian then Finlay goes for the superplex but Foley quickly comes to the ring and hits Finlay from behind and follows up with a powerbomb to Finlay of the top turnbuckle. Kane comes out and goes after Foley but the ref stops him and Christian who was on the top, Kane hit him with a huge shot to the throat. Both are down as Christian manages to get to his feet. Christian then hit some boots to the face of Finlay followed by a belly to back suplex to toss Finlay outside head over heels. Christian distracted the ref as Foley on the outside send Finlay crashing into the steel steps. Foley then send him inside as the ref tells Foley not to touch him. Christian cover him but Kane broke the pin. Christian them complains to the ref as Christian then hits a impressive spinning heel kick to Finlay. Christian covers again but Finlay kicks out. Christian with a toe kick to Finlay but Finlay hold his feet and Christian follows up with the enziguri. Christian tag Foley and Foley hit some right and left hands followed by scoop slam and bounce of the ropes and hits a elbow drop. Foley covers but Finlay kicks out. Foley then hangs Finlay in the corner. In tree of woe position and nails a running flying elbow to the face of Finlay. Fans boos the heals as Foley covers and Kane makes the save. Foley then tags Christian and Christian quickly covers him but gets a two count. Christian then hits a Northern lights suplex and covers but still Finlay kicks out and Christian doesn't like it as he gets Finlay and hits a tornado scorpion death driver. Christian covers but Finlay got his foot on the ropes and Christian can't believe it. Christian argues with the ref then talks trash to Finlay as he slaps him around the head a couple of times before Christian goes up top and Finlay then run to the ropes to try a superplex. But Christian reversed it into a flap jack, and went for a cross body which got him a close two count. Finlay then rolls to the outside as Christian follows him outside and hits a suplex on top of the barricade. Christian gets in the ring again as Christian distracts the ref and Foley then nails Finlay with a series of right hands up against the ring steps, and then he charged at him and drove his knee into Finlay face, right into the steel steps! huge heat from the crowd. Foley quickly sends him inside as Kane comes outside and goes to Foley but the ref stops him and Christian wastes no time and covers Finlay but gets a close two count.
Christian locked on the Texas Clover Leaf, and Finlay is screaming in pain. Finlay is trying hard to reach the ropes but is unable to do so. The Little Bastard gets in the ring and he gets huge pop from the crowd. HW run at Christian and bite his hand. Christian is forced to release the hold on Finlay and runs at HW as the ref is distracted by HW. Kane comes in the ring and takes out Christian with a big boot. Kane cheers for Finlay to make the tag as the fans also joins Kane and together they cheer for Finlay. Christian slowly moves to tag Foley as Finlay starts moving and eventually. He makes the red hot tag to Kane and Christian tags Foley. Kane with rights and left hands to Foley then nails a big boot. Kane with two running clotheslines in the corner to Foley and then nails a sidewalk slam for a two count. Kane goes up top and nails a flying clothesline. Kane sets up his gloves and signals for the Chokeslam but Christian comes in as Kane hits a right hand to him then send him in the corner but Kane misses a clothesline in the corner and Christian hits a reverse DDT. Christian goes back to the apron as Foley then recovers and hits Kane with the Double Arm DDT. Foley covers but Kane kicks out. Foley then brings out his famous Socko socks. Foley signals for the Mandible Claw as Kane get to his feet.
Foley went for it and he connects with it. Kane tries to fight out of it and eventually he does and hits a Chokeslam out of nowhere. Kane covers but Christian breaks the pin. This leads out Finlay and Finlay beats up Christian in the corner then hits Finlay with a powerbomb. Kane goes to the top and as Foley gets to his feet. kane goes for the flying clothesline but Christian from nowhere hits a beautiful drop kick to Kane in the mid air. Finlay wants to come inside the ring again but this time the ref stops him. Christian goes to the apron and Foley tags him. Christian wastes no time and goes for his finisher but Kane whips him into the ropes and connects with the chokeslam. Kane slowly covers Christian. 1...2...thr and Christian got his feet on the ropes. kane then tags Finlay. Finlay unloads on Christian with hard right hands as he hits a Gutwrench suplex. Cover him but a two count only. Finlay waits for Christian to get to his feet and Finlay goes for the Celtic Cross but Foley comes in and hits a hard right hand which allows Christian to counter it into a roll up as Kane goes after Foley outside the ring. Christian has Finlay roll up as Christian holds onto the ropes tightly. ref makes the cover. .1....2...three.
Winner: And Still the Tag Team Champions Christian and Foley.
JR: This was a mind blowing match. What a great effort put by the no.1 contenders but it was the tag team champs was came put victorious using all their dirty tactics.
King: This was a great match and a great win for the tag team champs and once again they proved why they are the best tag team champions.
JR: king, Christian and Foley cheated to win this one and i hope and i wish Kane and Finlay gets their revenge soon.
King: I don't think they deserve another shot at those title.
Aftermath: Finlay is furious and he cant believe, he lost the match. Christian quickly rolls outside as Kane comes back to the ring. Foley and Christian are outside as the ref gives them the tag titles and both stands on the entrance ramp and hold their title high in the air as they head back with the fans chanting:You Suck" at them. Kane is in the ring and he cant believe he lost the match and Finlay doesn't looks happy aswell. kane then leaves and heads to the back.
Backstage Shelton is relaxing in his room as Elijah Burke comes in.
Burke: Hey Shelton Benjamin, the new Intercontinental Champion. How are doing?
Shelton looks very tired as he sits up and replies.
Shelton: IM doing great and thanks.

This all started at WrestleMania 24 where it was the Returning, Chris Jericho taking on Kurt Angle. Jericho won the match and aftermath, since the even was in Bret Home town. Bret Hart also showed up earlier in the night to cut a promo but he came out again after the match of Angle vs Jericho. Bret came out and appluad for both of them by putting a great match.
Following Night on Raw. Kurt Angle came out and expresses his frustrations of Bret coming out after his match at WrestleMania with Jericho and he applauds for Jericho. Instead he should appluad for me by putting up a 5 star match so Kurt calls out Bret and challenges him to a match and Bret comes out and tells him, he will answer his question next week.
Next Week. Bret came out and announced, he will return to the ring next week to a match after a long, long time.
Bret won his match and accepted Kurt Challenge.
As Jericho was involved in the sega of Bret and Kurt so our GM. Stone Cold made his the special ref for their big match at Backlash.
JR: This one is going to be a fight to remember. IM sure, this match will go down in history as one of the fine matches WWE had produced.
King: I cant wait to see, my old rival, Bret Hart compete in this ring, after a long, long time. This one is going to be Epic.
JR: IM glad, Jericho is the special ref in this match because it will help to not let this epic battle end without a result.
King: I cant wait for this match to get underway.
JR: Neither can I and Kurt looked very focused about this match and King, this will be the toughest match of Kurt career because he will be facing a man who is the best technical wrestler of all time and who is the perfectionist.
5.4.3.2.1.Jericho music hits and he makes his way out to the ring wearing a jeans and the ref t-shirt. Jericho claps hands on his way to the ring as he gets great pop from the crowd. Jericho enters the ring and pose to the crowd as he tells the fans he wont be wrestling as he is the ref(telling them without a Mic).
"Olympic" hits and Kurt Angle comes out to a humongous boos from the crowd. Angle stands on the entrance ramp and they PYRO explodes for him as he comes down the ring, wearing his Olympic medal. Angle ignores the fans who are just chanting, you Suck! Angle enters the ring and pose to the crowd as he gets on the top turnbuckle.
Massive heat for Angle as he stands on and waits for his opponent to come out.
"Bret Hart" Music hits and he comes out to a big big ovation from the crowd as Bret clap hands with the fans and enters the ring and pose to the crowd as he is still getting massive pop. Bret goes outside the ring and take out his famous shades and give it to a nice little girl who cheers for Bret as Bret smiles at her then takes out his jacket and enters the ring.
JR: This is going to be one heck of a battle
King: No doubt about that. This match will be a history battle between the two.
Special Referee Match. Chris Jericho as Special Referee
Kurt ANGLE VS Bret HART
Bret and Angle goes toe to toe and both looking at each other for a while, before talking to each other. They locked it up and Bret threw Angle down to the mat. They locked up again and Bret again shoved Angle down, and then pushed him down. Angle was getting pissed as the fans chanted “You Suck” at Angle. They tied up again and Angle worked the arm and then grabbed a side headlock but Bret reversed into one of his own and then hit a shoulder block off the ropes knocking Angle down on the mat. Angle quickly goes to the outside and tries to recover as he stares Bret and then talks trash to the fans who are booing him as Jericho is counting. On SIX count, Angle slowly enters the ring. They locked up again with Angle kicking the knee and then chopping Bret in the corner. Bret then whipped Angle to the corner, and Angle landed across the top turnbuckle and Bret kept kicking him and Angle straddled himself over the ropes and then Bret took over with right hands. Bret came back with a thumb to the eye and then hit some more chops and right hands in the corner. Bret came back with a clothesline, and then sent Angle over the top to the outside as the fan cheers for Bret. In response Bret pose to the crowd.
Angle then got on the apron and Bret flipped him back in and then whipped him to the ropes and hit a running clothesline.
Bret then went after the knee immediately and both guys obviously had each other well-scouted and it took a few minutes for anything major to connect. Kurt posted Bret’s shoulder at and began to open up on Bret with ferocity in the corner. Bret with a flurry of reverse knife edges and a kitchen sink for a two count as he showed his usual aggression. Angle hung Bret out to dry but was guillotined next to the apron… fistfight won by Bret on the apron and then he pulled out … the DDT on the apron as Bret went to the floor and Kurt looked like he really hit hard. Bret then got back to the ring and cover Angle but only got a two count. Bret goes for the scoop slam but Kurt countered and went for the Angle Slam but Bret countered it and Bret then locked on the Sharpshooter in perfect position as Kurt crawled towards the ropes and made it… Kurt’s mouth bleeding, most likely from the DDT. Heat was there at times but generally the crowd sat on their hands and watched the match unfold. Bret dropped on the barricade by a hurting Angle and then took a sick short clothesline back in the ring as Kurt got a two count before locking on a rear chin lock with a body scissors. Angle cut Bret’s comeback attempt off with a belly to belly, followed up with a picture perfect belly to back, and scored a two count from Chris Jericho. The chin lock came back in focus as Bret made it back to his feet but was pummeled back down before the two nearly beheaded each other with a beautiful double clothesline. Jericho (and the crowd) reached 9 before they rose, and Bret blocked rights and hit his own, complete with right hands and his usual clotheslines. Bret hits a Back drop which put Angle down and Bret with a German suplex but Kurt reversed the grip and went for his German suplex but this time Bret blocks and hit some elbows before hitting his famous, Russian leg sweep. Bret saying it is over, signaling for his famous elbow drop as Bret got to the top but this time Kurt jumped up and as only he can, ran up the ropes and brought Bret off with the Belly to belly and got a 2.9 count. Angle got angry as he got in Jericho face but Jericho tells him, it was a close two count. Angle then goes to Bret who then locked on the Cross face(tribute to Chris Benoit) after countering the Angle Slam and it was in perfect position. Fans exploded as they always do for the hold and Kurt slid slowly horizontally and reached out for the ropes. Bret pulled Kurt back to ring center by the ankle and put on his own ankle lock… Kurt counter rolled and locked on his more patented variation. Bret with a counter into the Cross face as Angle with a half scissors banana split pin… only a two count and immediately Bret put the Cross face on again. Angle this time not near the ropes and was about to tap it appeared… Angle rolled through it but Bret held on… Kurt IN THE CROSS FACE picked Bret up and hit a nice Angle Slam… fatigued cover and the Hitman kicked out. Kurt cannot believe it as he yells at Jericho for making the count slow. Kurt then hit some mount punches to Bret as he hold him by his hair and hit more furious punches. Kurt then targets, Bret leg as he hit some foot stomp on Bret leg followed by couple of elbow drops to Bret leg. Kurt then hit the shin breaker followed by some leg drop on Bret leg. Kurt then hit the knee smash a couple of times on Bret as he screams in pain. Kurt then talks trash to the fans as he locks in the single crab lock on Bret. Angle has him in the lock as Bret is screaming in pain but doesn't taps out as Angle yells at him to tap but Bret doesn't and finally Angle releases the hold. Angle then Irish whipped, Bret into the ropes and hits the German suplex followed by two more German suplex but Kurt Angle, doesn't stops their as he tries to hit one more and yes he hits another German suplex, making it four German suplexes. Angle covers but again gets a close two count. Angle hold his head in frustration. Angle then whipped Bret into the corner and went for the running clothesline but Bret got out of the way as Angle went straight into the turnbuckle. Bret then quickly got Angle in the roll up pin but Angle kick out before the three count. Angle then goes for a clothesline on Bret but Bret ducks and hits a DDT. Both men are down as Jericho starts the count.
On eight count, both men slowly get to their feet and both exchange right hands with Bret getting the most of it and Bret whipped Angle into the ropes and hit a back body drop. Angle get to his feet and Bret unloaded with couple of clotheslines, followed by Pendulum backbreaker. Bret then follows it up with a leg drop bouncing of the ropes. Bret cover but got a two count only. Bret ask Jericho if it was a three count but Jericho denies it. Bret then hit the three standing elbow drops to Kurt before hitting the running neck breaker. Bret covered but again got a two count. Bret then whipped Angle into the ropes but Angle counters and sent Bret instead but Bret hold onto the ropes as Angle goes running to Bret and Bret playing possum, suddenly lay down and sending angle outside the ring. Bret then follows up with the Slingshot cross body. Jericho is on six count as Bret sent Kurt back to the ring and covered him but again got a two count. Bret on his knees, pulls his hair back as he hits the Russian leg sweep followed by Second rope Axe handle elbow drop. Bret covered but got a very close two count and Bret cant believe it. Bret again asks Jericho if it was a three count but Jericho says no. Bret goes back to Kurt but Kurt from nowhere hit a beautiful German suplex. Both are down again as Kurt get to his feet on five count.
Kurt then took the straps down and put on the ankle lock, standing and in perfect form at mid ring but Bret rolled and leg reversed Angle face first into the top turnbuckle. Another counter into a great pin attempt from Bret with a super close near fall. Bret with a German… reverse… Angle with a German… reverse the grip… and Bret with a release German as Angle cut a full somersault and landed on his face and chest to a huge pop. Bret Covered but Angle kicked out at the last second. Bret went for Sharpshooter but Angle didn't let Bret apply then Sharpshooter as Angle rolled through, then did a reverse powerbomb drop into the top turnbuckle… then a second Angle Slam and the cover but AGAIN Bret kicked out and the entire building erupted. Angle got absolutely mad as he grabbed Jericho from his shirt but before he could do anymore damage Jericho warns him to DQ him as Angle then kicks the rope. Angle goes to Bret and grab him by him hair but Bret with Inside Cradle. 1...2....and Kurt kicked out. Bret on his feet Bret quickly locked on the Sharpshooter on Angle. Bret this time puts more and more pressure and Angle screaming in pain and Angle about to tap… but holding on and trying to get hold of Bret feet and Angle somehow got Bret leg and forces Bret to release the hold as Angle quickly rolled to his knees into the ankle lock once again. Another half counter as Kurt tried to hang on and rolled around to the standing position. Another boot shove off but Angle right back to it …another shove but Kurt held onto the ankle as Bret screamed and moaned. Kurt pulled him back near the ropes and twisted around with a lying variation as Bret looked desperate to tap out but somehow he manages to hold on as Bret finally....finally got his hand to the ropes and Kurt has no choice but to release the hold and Y2J is count but Kurt isn't releasing the hold as Jericho gets Kurt to release the hold. Kurt is totally gone mad as he argues with Jericho a bit before going outside and grab a steel chair and enter the ring. Angle waits for Bret to get to his feet and as Bret with the help of the ropes, tries to get to his feet as he is on one knee and Angle goes to smash the chair across Bret skull but Jericho takes the chair from Angle and in result, Angle hits a right hand to Jericho knocking him down on the mat. Angle then hit another Angle Slam to Bret and cover him but Jericho is down as Angle is frustrated and grabs Jericho by his shirt to get him up as Angle again cover Bret but Jericho finally on his feet and Angle has Bret covered but Jericho is not making the cover as Angle with a surprise look, gets up and goes to Jericho but Jericho from nowhere hits Angle hard with the steel chair. Angle is out cold and Bret covers Angle. Jericho this time counts. 1...2....three.
Winner: Bret The Hitman Hart
JR: My God! what a heck of a match this was King.
King: JR, this match was totally a roller coaster. It was a hell of a ride.
JR: After so many years, away from the ring, Bret Hart proved once again to the world, why he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Aftermath: Bret is still down as Jericho checks on him and helps him get to his feet and as Bret gets to his feet and the entire building on their feet screaming for Bret, who gave his heart to the crowd and put on a greatest match in WWE history. Jericho raise Bret hands in victory as both then hugs each other and Bret get to the top turnbuckle and pose to the crowd as Angle is still down. Bret leaves the ring along with Jericho to a thunderous ovation from the crowd.
JR: This is just historical. And very few times it happens when the fans raise on their feet and chants and cheers for their hero.
King: JR, this truly is a very emotional moment. But we should not forget the performance that Kurt Angle put out here tonight.
JR: Not at all King. Kurt Angle gave everything he had to this match but unfortunately for him he lost this match.
Kurt Angle then get to his feet and he is standing in the center of the ring, looking down then looking at the fans with a disbelief look as the crowd applauds for his great performance here tonight. Angle then looks at them and leaves.
Backstage Rated R Superstars are in their locker room: Christian, Foley, M.Hassan with Davari celebrates their big victory as Edge is sitting on the chair and looks serious as he thinks about his match later tonight.
Rated R Superstars has bottles of Champain as they pour it on each other in celebration.

Orton: That's nice to hear and everyone lives in a fantasy world of their own and your no different then them, so keep on dreaming and as for you, cashing your MITB breifcase tonight after my match. I can tell you one thing, you wont get my WWE Title like this and remember if i win tonight which i will as i always do and once the bell rings and i have got my WWE Title then if you show up and cashed in your briefcase, so you will get your Ass kicked just like i will kick Edge's tonight.

JR and King thanks the WWE Fans for a huge attendance for tonight's Show.
Todd is in the crowd as he has some questions with the fans of WWE.
Todd: How has been Backlash so far?
Fan: Its been great and it was great to see The Legend that is. Bret Hart winning his match against Kurt Angle after a long time and things are just getting better.

Todd: Which match have been your favorite so far?
Fan: Well to be honest, my fav match will be the TLC match for the WWE Championship. But so far my fav match has been, The fatal Four Way Elimintation match. It was jsut awsome.

Todd: WHo do you think will win tonight's Main Event TLC match. Will Orton retain his Title or will the ultimate oppurtunist, Edge become the new WWE Champion?
Fan: I think, Randy Orton will kick Edge Ass and he will retain his Title because he is the LEgend Killer and he will kill the Legend of Edge so Edge get ready for the beating of your life. Randy Orton, we all love you and hope you win your match. yeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.

Backstage We see Edge is preparing for his match,as on the other screen, we see the WWE Champion Randy Orton preparing for his match! which is later tonight.

At WrestleMania Randy Orton defeat Edge, to become the new WWE Champion.
Following night. Edge interfered in Orton promo. And let him knew that he will be coming back for His Title at Backlash with his terms.
Edge brutally and viciously attacked Randy Orton along with Rated R Superstars and announced his match stipulation to Randy Orton as Edge said their match at backlash will be a Tables,Ladders and Chair match as Edge Spear'ed Orton into the tables.
Stone Cold booked Edge vs HBK in a street Fight Match. Rated R Superstars came in and beat up HBK then HHH came out but Rated R Superstars take him out aswell and it was Orton who came back from his injury and took out Rated R Superstars with the baseball bat.
JR: Its time for the Main Event and its going to be a Tables,Ladders and Chairs match.
King: This rivalry has become personal and tonight one of them is going to be seriously injured.
JR: I cant wait to see Randy Orton kick Edge ass. What he has done to Orton a couple of weeks before on Raw was absolutely crazy and he has gone sick just to get back the WWE Title.
King: JR, i cant wait to see this match get started.
JR: Neither can I.
"Rated R" music hits and Edge comes out to a massive boos from the crowd. Edge with a serious look on his face as he stands on the apron and they PYRO goes of and Edge makes his way to the ring while still getting loads of heat from the crowd as Edge stops by the ladder and takes a good look at it before making his way to the ring and Edge just simply ignores the fans and enters the ring and pose then waits for his opponent to come out.
Moments later "voices in my head" hits and Orton makes his way to the ring to a great and big ovation from the crowd. Orton is damn serious as he just slowly walks down the ramp while the WWE Title is hanging above the ring. Orton also stops by the ladder and takes a look at it as Edge has his eyes set on Orton. Orton is still being cheered by the fans as Orton stops near the steel steps and is looking at Edge constantly and is saying something as Edge looks on. Orton then enters the ring and looks at his WWE Title which is high in the air and Orton doesn't goes to the top to pose for the crowd as he is not in the mood to do so as Orton gets in Edge face and both exchange some harsh words to each other while going at it.
Match 7: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match- WWE Champion Edge vs. Randy Orton(c)
-The “Edge Sucks” chants rang out before Edge could even came out and did he got a very loud series of “Boos.” Orton got a very nice reaction and looked emotional about it.Edge goes for a cheap shot but Orton is smart and he ducks and unloads with his fist of fury on Edge as the fans looks in approval. Orton is all over Edge, with hard and furious right hands. Somehow, Edge manages to get outside the ring as Edge take sometime to recover as he getting massive boos from the fans. Orton goes outside but Edge quickly get inside the ring and Orton goes inside the ring but Edge quickly with stomps to the back of Orton as Orton manages to get out of it and both quickly stand and looks at each other with the crowd cheering for Orton. They both then circled the wagons and locked up in the center of the ring. Orton grabbed a headlock and eventually took Edge down with a shoulder block. Another headlock and another shoulder block followed. And then another shoulder block…but Edge got his heel tactics going with a hard slap across Orton’s face. Orton came back with a knock down and several punches, but Edge scored with a swinging neck breaker. To the outside they went, where Edge poked Orton in the gut with a chair. He swung for the fences, but missed and hit the ring post. Back in the ring, Orton tried to get his repertoire going, but Edge hit the Impaler DDT. Edge then went the outside and grabbed two chairs, which he set-up in the middle of the ring. He went for a suplex onto the chairs, but Orton countered and went for the same move. Edge countered and hit a reverse falling DDT onto the two chairs. He then got a ladder and climbed up to the third rung. Orton knocked the ladder down, but Edge landed on his feet and drilled Orton with a running clothesline. Edge proceeded to drape Orton’s neck across the second rope, go to the outside, and smash Orton in the face with a ladder. He set the ladder against Orton’s head and climbed up onto the guard rail. The Ultimate Opportunist then hit a nice missile dropkick off the guardrail and into the ladder (further into Orton’s face). The crowd chanted for Orton, as Edge tried to use a ladder as a battering ram. Orton moved out of the way and hip tossed Edge onto the propped up ladder. Noticing two tables set-up on the outside floor, Orton hoisted Edge up for the suplex. He tried to hit it through the tables, but Edge countered and landed on the apron. Orton tried to knock him backwards thru the tables, but Edge hit a desperation forearm and went to the top rope. Orton crotched him on the turnbuckle, though, and grabbed a table from the outside. The Legend Killer set-up the table and then went to the top to suplex the Rated R Superstar. Orton tried, but Edge blocked it and attempted a sunset flip powerbomb that was supposed to send Orton thru the table.And Orton is outcold as Edge powerbombed him onto the table. Moments later, Edge then got a ladder and set it in the middle and start climbing the ladder. As Edge got to the top of the ladder and try to get the WWE Belt but Orton pushed the ladder which sent Edge flying onto the ring ropes as Edge falls hard on the mat. Both are down as after a while, Orton then get to his feet, holding his back in pain as he hit a right hand to Edge followed by some more as Orton take out his frustration on Edge with furious right hands. fans cheer for Orton. Orton then grabs a chair and wait for Edge to get up. Soon, Edge got to his feet and Orton smashed the chair right across Edge head. Orton then sets a ladder for himself in the center and slowly starts climbing it. Orton then goes to take the belt but Edge hit Orton with the chair in the back as Orton scream in pain and falls down on the mat. Orton holding his back in pain as Edge then takes out the plaster that Orton had around his waist. Fans chant"Ass Hole" to Edge as he ignore the fan and grab the chair and start hitting hard shot to the back of Orton which was plastered. Orton is screaming in pain but Edge is having none of it. After hitting some vicious chair shots to the back, Edge throws away the chair then got in Orton face and talk trash to him as Edge hit some slap to Orton face. Edge then brings in another chair and set it right in the middle as Edge hit a Half nelson sit-out face buster on the steel chair as Edge smiles then set a ladder again and goes to the top. Looks like Edge will take this one as Edge slowly gets to the top, he wastes time by posing to the fans and talking trash to them as Edge goes to grab the belt but Orton climbs the ladder aswell and hit some right hand to Edge as Edge hits back with his right hands and both trade right hands before Orton smashed Edge head on the ladder and Orton pushes Edge away as Edge goes down to the mat but he still is on his feet as he hold onto the ropes. Orton goes to get his Title belt but Edge gets the ladder that Orton was standing on as Orton now holding the belt and is high in the air trying hard to somehow untie the Title belt but Edge quickly goes outside and sets a huge ladder in the corner and start climbing the ladder and Edge in on top of the ladder as he is near Orton aswell. Edge then fly in the air and hit a breath taking Spear to Orton who was holding the belt high in the air. Fans break out a Holy Shit chant and for once they cheer for Edge with this sick move. A replay is shown again and both are out. Moments later, Edge get to his feet and he slowly sets the ladder once again in the middle. Edge start climbing once again in the hope of taking the belt this time. As Edge slowly got to the top he tried to untie the belt but Orton is on his feet and he couldn't climb the ladder at this time as he grabbed a ladder which was on laying the mat. Orton hit Edge with the ladder and hit him again which caused Edge fall hard on the mat. Orton takes a breath before going to hit Edge with his Punt kick but just as Orton was about to hit him and Edge moved out of the way and Edge hit a body slam. Orton rolled to the outside. Edge followed him out by jumping off a propped up ladder in the corner and giving him a cross body block. Nice! Edge retrieved two more chairs, as Orton chants broke out. The Edge-head destroyed Orton with a hard chair shot and set-up a one-man Conchairto. Orton rolled out of the way at the last moment, though, and eventually hit a DDT that sent Edge’s face crashing into one of the folded chairs. He then placed Edge in between the legs of a ladder and slammed them down into an Edge sandwich. Orton proceeded to make Edge scream as Orton hit the chair on the ladder while Edge was still in b/t the ladder legs. Orton followed by drilling Edge b/t the eyes with the end of the ladder and then slamming the ladder hard over Edge’s chest. Orton set-up the ladder in the corner and gave Edge a back body drop onto the ladder set in the corner. Orton bounced of the ropes and hit a first drop to Edge. Orton then hit his famous back breaker then climb the ladder. Orton then hit the fist drop from the top of the ladder and went outside to retrieve another table. He brought it into the ring and set it up, but while he was doing so Edge got a chair and drilled him in the face with it. Edge gave a cocky smile and walked off the cob webs before placing Orton onto the table he’d just set-up. The Rated R Superstar went to the outside and grabbed another table, which he set-up on top of the table that Orton was laying on. Edge went to the top rope and looked for a splash, but Orton got up and knocked him off the turnbuckle and down to the guardrail. Orton went to the outside, but didn’t attack Edge. Instead, he got a very large ladder from under the ring and pushed it into the ring. Orton began to climb the ladder after he set it up in the center of the ring. Edge, though, climbed the ladder that was still set up in the corner (of which Orton hit the fist drop). Edge hit a beautiful missile drop kick to Orton as Both men were down at that point for an extended period. Edge made it to his feet first and began climbing the taller ladder. Orton made it to his feet, too, though. Edge noticed and tried to jump off and attack Orton, but Orton caught him in mid-air and hit a awsome RKO from nowhere. (Fans break out a loud chant"RKO"). Orton slowly tries to go to the top and just as he got to the top and Edge made it back to the ladder aswell, though, and tried to climb away. Orton then pulled him off into powerbomb position and tossed him into the ladder in the corner. Edge rolled to the outside while still in massive pain. Orton followed and drilled him over the head with a chair shot. (The crowd loved it), but Orton went back into the ring and climbed the ladder anyway. He made it to the top of the ladder and had the match won, but Davari came from out of nowhere and tipped the ladder backwards. Orton went flying off the ladder, over the top rope, and thru a table set-up on the floor!!! In the words of JR: “OH MY GOD!” Edge, meanwhile, got back in the ring and tried to re-set the ladder. He slowly got it set-up, but DX hits and
HHH comes running to the ring and Edge went flying off the ladder, over the top rope, and thru a table set-up near the ring entrance! OMG! HHH then gave Davari a Pedigree and leaves. This gave Orton enough time and Orton made it to the ring and looked surprised to see what just happened and looked torn as to what he should do go after Edge or win the match. Orton did the smart thing and climbed the ladder, but Edge somehow came back in the ring and climbed the other side of it. They both got near the top and punched away at each other. Edge got hold of the belt, but Orton grabbed him and got him into RKO position. He then gave Edge a RKO thru the two tables stacked on top of each other in the ring! The finish came soon when Orton grabbed the belt to retain his WWE Championship.

JR: What a match, this was absolutely fantastic and breath taking.
King: I have never seen Orton like this before, he was injured, he was brutally attacked by Rated R Superstars on Raw but yet he had the guts and the will of winning and he won the match. Thanks to HHH.
JR: Edge got what he deserved and i think Orton should thank OUR GM, Austin for banning the Rated R Superstars from interfering in this match and also thanks to HHH, i think HHH was just returning the favour to Orton.
King: You are 100% right and i really feel for Edge at this time and what will happen to poor Davari as he did his best to get Edge win the match.
JR: Feel sorry for Edge, i don't think so, after all he did to Orton, he got what he deserved.
Aftermath: Orton is still on top of the ladder. As Orton stands and raise his WWE Title high in the air as he gets massive, massive cheers from the crowd. Edge is still outcold as Orton looks at him and for once he smiles as Orton comes down and rest's a bit as Orton goes outside the ring and goes to the fans to thank them and clap hands with them as Orton makes his way to the back.
