Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

This upcoming Monday Night, RAW will be a SPECIAL THREE-HOUR EDITION starting at 8/7CT. And what an action packed three hours it will be.

Two weeks ago, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair defeated the WWE Champion "The Rated R Superstar" Edge in a tag team match. Last week, Edge attacked Flair from behind and put him out of commission for the rest of that night. Monday night on RAW, Flair will attempt to gain revenge on Edge and become a 17-time World Champion all in the same night. Will Edge and his army fend off "The Dirtiest Player in the Game"? Or will it be lucky number 17 for "The Nature Boy"?

Also on the special three-hour edition of RAW, we will finally get to see the match which has been in the making since Vengeance. On Monday night, John Cena finally goes one on one with "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton. Orton has been disrespecting Cena for weeks and finally "The Doctor of Thuganomics" will have a chance for some payback. Will Cena get his revenge on Orton? Or will another RKO be in Cena's future?

Paul Bearer has said that Kane will meet his "past and his future" this Monday night on RAW. Will we see the destruction of Kane on RAW or will Bearer (& James Mitchell) bear the anger of the "Big Red Machine"?

Vince McMahon will name his son, Shane McMahon, the new General Manager this upcoming Monday. Will D-Generation X, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, have something to say during the announcement or will the miscommunication of HBK and "The Game" be the focus of DX on Monday?

Be there this upcoming Monday night because RAW will kick off with a bang at 8pm with "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters taking on "Mr. Monday Night" Rob Van Dam. All this and more on the USA Network 8/7CT.

for the week of September 28th

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

I like your interpretation of RAW. Your storyline oriented style appeals to me. I don’t think that it is necessary for you to extend the matches. You have a nice little set up here and it’s working for you. Good job.

Allow me to review your RAW 7/10/06

Opening segment- a bit bizarre to see McMahon draw a great deal of heat from the fans and then reward them by putting Edge and Masters in matches against Flair and RVD, respectively. Although, this is nothing new and has been done by WWE on many, many occasions. I’m not big on the idea of Vince announcing the matches for the night, as it takes away from his own agenda. Surely, Vince has more important things to consider (DX) than the announcement of a few matches.

Trish v. Melina- a good start to RAW. I’ve read some good reviews about your booking of Women’s division. To be honest, I’m not getting into it as much as the other feuds. Each to their own, I guess. Having said that, I wouldn’t change anything.

Vince/ Shane segment- I like where this is heading. The tension is implicit and apparent throughout the segment. I wonder if Vince will swerve and announce an unexpected GM. If Shane is announced the GM, a power struggle is forecast.

Flair/ Edge promo- you capture Edge’s cockiness very well. I love the whole: “What was the last part, I didn’t quite catch it” comment. The intertwining interactions between Edge, Masters, Flair, and RVD, are fun

Benjamin/ Nitro v. Mercury/ Carlito- 16 minutes is a bit too long, no? I love the end of the match with Edge interfering. This was unexpected and a great way to build suspense for the rest of the night

Edge- good job in convincing me that Edge can convince the others to join him. I like where this is going. The grouping of these superstars has potential and I’m interested to see where you take it. Looks like Flair is in a spot of bother come the next RAW.

Orton/ Cena segment- this was a good way to build up the next RAW. Should be good. This feud is the anchor for your RAW at the moment.

Kane segment- I think I know who the “mystery man” is. I hope I am wrong. The reason I say this is because this angle was intriguing and I would like it to unravel further. In saying that, I would like to see how you book the “mystery man”

HHH v Heindrich- I wanted to see what you would do with Heindrich post Kane. Looks like he is destined to be a jobber for the big names. The match time seems a bit excessive. You probably could have put together a few more matches and shortened the times, and allocated time to accentuate the quality of your story and segment writing.

HBK v Umaga- you used the clichéd “miscommunication” thing well. It keeps people glued until next week. You didn’t need to do this, seeing as you have so much happening already but I like your zealous approach.

Overall: your show flows fluently. Good use of the announce team to involve the reader in the matches. Your booking of promos/ segments and storylines is top notch. A monster RAW awaits us. Keep up the good work. 9+/ 10

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

Thank for the reviews guys. I will return them all eventually. Also a thank you to people without a btb (eyebrowmorroco, Sheltonisthebest).

Note: I will be trying some out of the ring segments between shows as is done in some other BTBs, just to spice things up.

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

“Across the nation” hits and the RAW opening video plays. The fireworks and pyro explodes and we are greeted by Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to a special three hour edition of the WWE’s flagship, Monday Night RAW. I’m Good Ol’ J.R., here with Jerry “The King” Lawler and boy do we have three action packed hours of RAW here for you tonight.

Jerry “The King” Lawler : Absolutely, J.R. Tonight, the chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon will name a new General Manager of RAW, which we can pretty much presume will be his son, Shane.

J.R.: Mr. McMahon trying to smooth things over with his son. Also tonight “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters takes on “Mr. Monday Night” Rob Van Dam. Not to mention the fact that Paul Bearer is gonna confront his son “The Big Red Machine” Kane here tonight.

King: And what about our TWO main events here tonight!

J.R.: In a match, a war really, between two superstars which is extremely personal. John Cena finally gets to go one-on-one with “The Legend Killer”, the man who spit in his face a couple of weeks ago, Randy Orton. And as big as that MAIN EVENT is. ….it gets no bigger and it gets no better than the WWE Championship. “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair challenges “The Rated R Superstar” Edge in what is sure to be a hellacious match-up.

King: All that and more……Oh yes!

“Metalingus” blasts over the loud speaker, receiving tremendous heat.

J.R.: Speak of the devil.

The WWE Champion Edge makes his way down to the ring with his newly formed army (Lita, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin, the Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro and Melina.)

J.R.: Last week, Edge and “The Masterpiece” aided Johnny Nitro and Shelton Benjamin defeat Carlito and Mercury in a Texas Tornado No DQ match and after the match, Edge brainwashed….

King: Brainwashed…Edge didn’t brainwash anybody J.R.. Edge simply told Benjamin and Nitro the truth. The truth being that Benjamin and Nitro are being held back. They’re not headlining PPVs, they’re not in main-events and they’re not getting World Title shots.

Edge and his army enter the ring and are showered in boos. Edge grabs a microphone from ringside.

Edge: I want everybody to just shut up and look. Shut up and look at the greatness standing before you. The greatness that has been held back by this company. In this ring you have, the most athletic man in the history of this business. A man who has been blessed by God. And a future World Champion, SHELTON BENJAMIN (Audience boos). Standing to his left, you have the current Intercontinental Champion. Another tremendous athlete. And a man who carried his absolutely pathetic tag team partner to three different WWE Tag Team Championships. Ladies and gentlemen, JOHNNY NITRO (crowd boos). And on his arm, an absolutely stunning diva. The woman behind the success of Johnny and one of the greatest managers of her era. Feast your eyes on MELINA (most of the audience boos while some whistle). Now for the diva standing right beside me (audience yells “Hooo!”). Shut Up! She is not a ho! She is the greatest female wrestler in the history of the sport. A two-time Women’s Champion. And one hot babe, LITA (crowd yells “Hooo!”). Now….let me introduce to you, the man who will defeat Rob Van Dam in just a few short moments. The man who has the body of a Greek god…

“One of a Kind” hits to a great pop. Rob Van Dam coolly makes his way down to the ring.

Lilian Garcia: Introducing first, in the ring, weighing in at 275 pounds, “The Masterpiece” CHRIS MASTERS! And secondly, making his way to the ring, weighing in at 237 pounds, ROB VAN DAM (great pop)!

Edge and his army leave the ring as Van Dam enters.

Match #1
Rob Van Dam vs. “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters (w/ Edge, Lita, Nitro, Melina, & Benjamin)

At the 7 minute mark, Masters gorilla presses Van Dam over his head and slams him to the ground. Masters lifts Van Dam off of the mat and shoots him into the corner. Masters charges at Van Dam. Van Dam gets a boot up and drills Masters in the face. Van Dam then hops onto the top turnbuckle, jumps off, and drills him with a flying thrust kick. Van Dam covers Masters.

Two…….Van Dam kicks out

Van Dam lifts Masters up, only to slam him back down to the mat with a body slam. Van Dam shoots off of the ropes and goes for The Rolling Thunder but Masters gets his knees up. Masters then looks to Edge who gives him the sign for The Masterlock. Van Dam slowly makes it o his feet. Masters attempts to lock in The Masterlock. Van Dam slides down and hits Masters with a kick to the face. Masters stumbles backward. Van Dam gets back to his feet. Van Dam tries to kick Masters but Masters grabs his foot. Van Dam improvises and hits Masters with his step-over heel kick. Van Dam then climbs to the top rope. Edge jumps on the apron and tries to grab Van Dam. Van Dam kicks Edge in the face causing him to fall to the outside. Johnny Nitro attempts the same and ends up with the same result. Lita and Melina both get onto the ring apron and distract the referee. Shelton Benjamin enters the ring. Benjamin JUMPS onto the turnbuckle and drills Van Dam with a superplex. Benjamin rolls around in pain for a while before rolling out of the ring. Melina and Lita both jump down from the apron. Masters lifts Van Dam up, turns him around and applies The Masterlock to a broken Van Dam. Van Dam doesn’t even move. The referee lifts Van Dam’s hand up into the air and it falls right back down. The ref rings the bell. (WINNER: Masters via submission at 14:11)

After the match, Edge and his army enter the ring. Edge, Masters, Benjamin, and Nitro begin to put the boots to Van Dam. THE CROWD POPS HUGE as “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Carlito and Joey Mercury run down to the ring. Edge and company arrogantly exit the ring. As Mercury and Carlito help Van Dam get to his feet, Flair grabs a microphone.

Flair: EDGE! EDGE! Listen to me you arrogant bastard. You better wipe that silly grin off your face. Because in about two and a half hours, I will be the new WWE Champion! WHOO!

The fans go crazy as Edge and his army look at the ring pissed.

J.R.: Short and sweet from “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Can he become a 17 time World Champion here tonight by beating Edge?

King: No! It can’t happen! He’s too old! Edge is better!

J.R.: We’ve heard it all before but we know that “The Nature Boy” can still get it done. Remember, not on every night but on ANY night, Ric Flair can be as good once as he ever was.

---Commercial Break---

We return from break to Vince McMahon’s office. Vince and Shane McMahon are talking in the office.

Vince: Tonight is the big night Shane. Tonight, is the dawning of a new era of Monday Night RAW. THE SHANE MCMAHON ERA!

Shane: Pops, I know we’ve had our differences recently but I gotta tell you I’m excited. I’ve got big plans for RAW. I….

Vince: Yeah. Yeah. All that is great Shane but what do you plan to do about D-Generation X?

Shane: Well, let me tell you what I have planned for the WWE Title. I think…

Vince: Shane, we’ll have plenty of time to talk about all of that but what about DX?

Shane: Is that all you give a damn about? DX this and DX that. I mean Jesus Christ!

Shane storms out of the office.

Vince: See you out there later tonight Shane-O!

***We cut back to ringside***

J.R.: Vince McMahon is obsessed, he’s obsessed with DX. Well let’s take you back to last week’s main event, HBK vs. Umaga.

***Footage is shown of the closing minutes of the match, including Triple H accidentally hitting Shawn Michaels with the sledgehammer. Umaga hits the Samoan Spike on HHH and pins HBK.***

“Samoa” hits to some decent heel heat. Umaga (w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada) makes his way to the ring. Umaga and Estrada enter the ring. Estrada grabs a microphone.

Estrada: Just in case ju haven’t heard. My NAME es ARMANDO ALEJANDRO EEESSSSTTTRRAAADDDDAAAA!!! (Crowd pops). An tonight “The Samoan Bulldozer” issues his first of many open challenges. Ha Ha! Any WWE superstar who wants to go one on one and get destroyed UUUMMMAAAAGGGAAA!

Estrada and Umaga wait several seconds before “It Wasn’t My Fault” hits to a minor pop. Snitsky makes his way to the ring.

Match #2
Umaga (w/Armando Alejandro Estrada) vs. Snitsky

After 2 minutes of action, Snitsky attempts to go for the pump handle slam. Snitsky gets Umaga onto his shoulder but Umaga slides down Snitsky’s back. Umaga then plants Snitsky with the Samoan drop. Umaga then goes over to the corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle. Umaga then jumps and hits a head butt. Estrada gets on the apron and gives Umaga the sign. Snitsky slowly gets back to his feet. Snitsky turns around and gets drilled with The Samoan Spike. Umaga covers Snitsky.

(WINNER: Umaga via pinfall at 4:49)

J.R.: Another impressive win by Umaga. Last week he beat a legend in Shawn Michaels and this week he runs through a monster in Snitsky.

***We cut backstage into the DX locker room***

Triple H: That guy is damn impressive!

Shawn Michaels: I know. Its hard enough to go one-on-one with the guy but its really hard to beat him after you get your brains scrambled by a sledgehammer. I mean that’s tough.

HHH: How many times am I gonna have to tell you Shawn. It was an accident. I came to the ring. To stop you from getting your head bashed in by FIVE cheerleaders. It….was….an….accident. OK.

HBK: Fine, then say “I’m sorry.”

HBK: You heard me, Hunter. I mean, we haven’t exactly had the most wonderful past. And this certainly isn’t the first time you’ve hit me with a sledgehammer. So I wanna hear you say those two words.

HHH: Two words? You want two words? That’s funny because I’ve got two words for ya!

The fans yell "SUCK IT!". Triple H then gets face to face with Michaels before storming out of the locker room.

***We cut back to ringside***

King: It seems all is not well within DX land. Ha! Ha!

J.R.: HBK and “The Game” having problems here tonight but coming up next. Paul Bearer confronts his son, “The Big Red Machine” Kane.

King: And that is next!

---Commercial Break-during the break a commercial is shown hyping the Triple Threat World Heavyweight Title match at the Great American Bash---

***We cut to the backstage area with Jonathan Coachman***

The Coach: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time who will be facing John Cena later on tonight….Randy Orton.

Orton comes into camera shot, receiving boos from the crowd.

Coach: Randy, I have to ask how you feel going into this match with John Cena later tonight?

Orton: How do I feel, Coach? I feel how I look. I feel like a million bucks. I feel like I can’t be stopped. I feel….like John Cena has no clue what he is getting himself into. Cena, people around here seem to think that you are the future of this business. I have a problem with that. You see the fans, upper management, and the wrestling “critics” have a problem with me because I have a bad attitude. You want a shoot? I’ll give you a shoot! People like Keller and Meltzer and Scherer, they have a problem with me because I have no respect for this business. They don’t like me because I can get in the ring and half-ass it and I STILL can get over. Cena, I was blessed with a natural talent, a natural charisma to do what I do in this ring. Cena you had to work your ass off to get where you are. The problem is not that you work hard Cena. The problem is no matter how hard you work, no matter how hard you train, no matter how much the critics an the fans praise your work ethic, you’ll still be one step behind, “The Legend Killer”.

***We cut back to ringside***

J.R.: Those were some very strong words from Randy Orton. We’ll be talking to John Cena a little later on tonight. But we’ve got Paul Bearer in the ring and he’s got a microphone.

***We cut to the ring***

Paul Bearer: We are all here to witness the destruction of the man I used to call a son. We are here to witness the annihilation of a FORMER monster. My former son, Kane used to be a beast with no heart and no soul. He used to be a ruthless, cold hearted bastard. Now, he’s starring in movies and signing autographs and smiling to fans. Don’t worry Kane. Tonight I will put you out of your misery. You will no longer have to….

The pyro explodes and “Slow Chemical” blasts over the loudspeaker. Kane walks down to the ring receiving a good pop. Kane climbs over the top rope and into the ring.

Bearer: Kane, I want you to relax……

Kane grabs Bearer by the collar and begins to shake him. Heidenreich runs down to the ring. Kane and Heidenreich brawl with each other before Kane nails Heidenreich with a big boot. Kane then lifts his right hand into the sky and waits for Heidenreich to get back to his feet. Heidenreich slowly gets up and turns around. Kane grabs him around the throat and gives him a Chokeslam. Suddenly, Kane spots Father James Mitchell at ringside. Mitchell tells Kane to turn around. Suddenly, a very large man wearing a mask blasts Kane in the face with a steel chain.

J.R.: Oh my God! What the hell is this? Damn that was a nasty shot by that masked man!

The large man in the mask mounts Kane and continues to rain down shot after shot on Kane. This continues until he draws blood from Kane’s forehead. Mitchell then gets on the apron, lifts up his staff and yells “DOOMSDAY!” The monster lifts Kane up and shoots him off the ropes and plants Kane with a 360 degree spinning sidewalk slam. Mitchell calls the man out of the ring but Bearer stops Mitchell and tells Mitchell to finish him. Mitchell grabs a chair and throws it in the ring. The man grabs the chair and places it on Kane’s throat. The man then goes to the corner, climbs to the top turnbuckle and jumps off, landing on the chair, CRUSHING Kane’s throat.

J.R.: DAMN IT! WHAT THE HELL! This big son of a bitch just crushed Kane’s throat!

King: Oh my God!

Kane begins to cough up blood. Bearer and Mitchell lead the huge man into the backstage area. EMTs run down to the ring and tend to Kane as we cut to a commercial break.

---Commercial Break---

J.R.: Before the break, Kane was attacked by a man…..wait…we are getting word that The Coach has caught up with…..lets go to the Coach.

***We cut to the parking lot and see the Coach running after James Mitchell and the large man***

Coach: Mr. Mitchell, may I ask who…..

Mitchell: Shut up and listen! This man is the man who just took out Kane. Kane, if you’re not dead yet, I want you to listen. When Paul Bearer told you that you would meet you past and your future, this is exactly what he meant. This man at my side is something you used to be, a monster, an unstoppable beast of destruction. This is also something that you could have became if you only would have listened to the advice of your father. This is the monster, ABYSS! (Mitchell laughs maniacally)

Abyss and Mitchell walk off camera as the Coach looks on afraid.

***We cut back to ringside***

J.R.: Sick! Just sick! Well this Abyss or whatever the hell his name is just took out Kane!

King: I know J.R.. Kane has been taken to the local hospital. Apparently he has a crushed larynx and will be out indefinitely.

“Spirit” hits to some decent heat. The World Tag Team Champions The Spirit Squad make their way to the ring.

Lilian Garcia: The following contest is a non-title match scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Worchester, Massachusetts, weighing in at 234 pounds, KENNY!

J.R.: Well, the show must go on but I didn’t want to see these idiots out here!

King: Idiots?!? These are great athletes, J.R..

J.R.: Well, you’re right about that, especially this Kenny.

“Pay the Price” hits to a very mild reaction. Charlie Haas makes his way down the ramp.

Lilian: And his opponent, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 238 pounds, CHARLIE HAAS!

Match #3
World Tag Team Champion Kenny (w/ Johnny, Mikey, Nicky, & Mitch) vs. Charlie Haas

After a relatively even 5 minute match-up, Haas plants Kenny with an exploder suplex. Haas then turns Kenny over and attempts to go for the Haas of Pain. Kenny rolls back over onto his back and kicks Haas off. Kenny kips up off the ground. Kenny attempts to clothesline Haas. Haas ducks the lariat, goes behind, and drills Kenny with a German Suplex with a bridge.

Th……Kenny kicks out.

Haas looks around the ring very frustrated. Haas then gets up and complains to the referee. The ref tells him it was only a two count. Kenny gets back up to his feet and charges at Haas. Haas once again goes behind and attempts a German suplex. Kenny flips out and lands on his feet. Kenny then grabs Haas by the waist and drills Haas with a release German suplex. Kenny then goes over to the corner and leaps to the top turnbuckle. Kenny then flies off the top and drills Haas with the Guillotine Legdrop. Kenny covers Haas.

(WINNER: Kenny via pinfall at 8:56)

J.R.: That was a good match and a hell of a win by Kenny.

King: I told you J.R., Kenny…..apparently has something to say.

Kenny: I’m issuing a challenge for next week’s RAW. I challenge…..D-Generation X. Next week, I want to wrestle either one of you two. I don’t care which one it is. So Hunter, Shawn, you two better decide…..

“Break it Down” hits to a TREMENDOUS ovation. Triple H and Shawn Michaels appear on the ramp.

Triple H: Kid, I’m gonna make this short and sweet. Sometimes you get what you ask for. Next week, you go one on one with the best wrestler in the world today. One half of D-Generation X. You go one-on-one with….

HBK: With “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels! NOW hit the music!
(Break it Down plays again)

The fans cheer wildly as HHH looks at Michaels with a pissed off look.

J.R.: I don’t think that HBK was the great wrestler that “The Game” had in mind for that match.

King: I think you’re right J.R.. Later on tonight, Edge defends the WWE Title against Ric Flair. Well, anyhow coming up next, the WWE Chairman, Mr. McMahon announces the new GM of RAW.

---Commercial Break- During the break a commercial plays hyping the Batista-Mark Henry match at The Great American Bash---

“No Chance in Hell” hits to momentous heat as soon as we return from commercial break. Vince McMahon makes his way down to the ring with a microphone in hand as the fans boo wildly.

Mr. McMahon: Ladies and gentlemen, RAW has been without a General Manager since December. But as of tonight that will no longer be the case. So without further ado, allow me, VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON (crowd boos), to introduce you to the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW, my son, Shane!

“Here Comes The Money” hits to a mixed reaction as Shane McMahon “shuffles” his way down to the ring. Shane enters the ring.

Vince: Shane-O, I know you will crush DX with your bare hands.

Shane: Dad, enough about DX. This is a big moment.

Vince: What do you mean enough about DX? THIS IS ALL ABOUT DX!

Shane: This is about my new position as the GM of RAW!

Vince: DAMNIT! We need to destroy DX! You hear me you little bastard we must DESTROY THEM! And if you don’t feel the same way then you can go straight to HELL!

Shane looks at Vince with a shocked look and then begins to talk.

Shane: Dad, I love you….but you can take this job and this company and shove it up your ass (amazing crowd pop)!

Shane leaves the ring and walks towards the back.

Vince: I don’t need you Shane! I don’t need anybody! I’m Vince McMahon, Damn it! I AM THE WWE and I will destroy D-Generation X. Triple H and Shawn Michaels will DIE! THEY WILL DIE!

J.R.:…what in the hell?

King: Mr. McMahon has completely snapped and we still don’t have a GM of RAW. Shane has walked off.

J.R.: Mr. McMahon has ran off his own son with his obsession with destroying D-Generation X.

***We cut to the DX locker room***

Triple H: What the hell was that, Shawn!? I accidentally hit you with a sledgehammer so now you’re gonna screw me every chance you get?!

HBK: Hunter, you said “Greatest wrestler in the world”, “One-half of D-Generation X”. I just automatically assumed you were talking about me.

HHH: You know good and damn well I wasn’t talking about you. You know what? Screw it. You better not lose THAT match, too!

HBK: Don’t worry, if you and the sledgehammer stay in the back, HBK will be riding high.

***We cut to a different part of the backstage area with The Coach***

Coach: Ladies and gentlemen, my guess at this time, he is a former two-time WWE Champion, the man who will face Randy Orton in a few moments, the “Doctor of Thuganomics” JOHN CENA!

Cena comes into camera shot receiving a mixed reaction from the RAW audience.

Coach: John, I would like to know your comments on this upcoming match and what Randy Orton had to say earlier.

Cena: Coach, Randy Orton is a bitch (High pitched pop followed by deep voiced boos). Orton comes out here week after week and talks about how he’s the Legend Killer and the best in the business. Maybe he is and maybe he’s not. All I know is that son of a bitch has given me that damn RKO twice. Count ‘em up. TWO TIMES! I also know that that smug son of a bitch has spit in my face. You know what that means Coach. (Coach shakes his head “no”) That means that I’m gonna have to kick Randy Orton’s ass.

Cena then storms off as the Coach looks on.

J.R.: Oh my God! Cena is ready. Orton is ready. Cena vs. Orton.

King: NEXT!

---Commercial Break---

“Burn In My Light” hits on the loudspeaker which receives a loud mixed reaction. Randy Orton comes from the backstage area and does his “destiny” pose at the top of the ramp as his pyro falls.

Lilian: And making his way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is “The Legend Killer”, RANDY ORTON!

Orton enters the ring and poses on the turnbuckle. Orton warms up in the ring several seconds before…. “My Time Is Now” blasts over the P.A. to another loud mixed reaction. John Cena makes his way down to the ring.

Lilian: Introducing his opponent, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 248 pounds, JOHN CENA!

J.R.: We have been waiting to see this match-up since Vengeance. Cena wants Orton. Orton wants Cena. Our first of two main events takes place right here and right now on RAW.

King: I can’t wait.

Match #4
“The Legend Killer” Randy Orton vs. John Cena

At the 9 minute mark, John Cena lifts Orton up for the FU. Orton fights out of it and slides down the back of Cena. Orton turns Cena around and attempts to hit the RKO. Cena counters and pushes Orton off the ropes. Orton shoots off the ropes. Cena catches Orton with a Spinebuster. Cena covers Orton.

Thr…..Orton kicks out.

Cena lifts Orton off of the mat. Orton surprises Cena with a thumb to the eye. Orton then catches Cena with a standing dropkick. Orton then shoots off the ropes, jumps up and drills Cena with a knee drop. Orton then arrogantly looks down at Cena. Orton then drops down to the mat and stalks Cena. Cena gets up. Orton jumps and tries to drill him with the RKO. Cena counters again and pushes Orton hard to the ground. Cena lifts Orton back to his feet. Cena then lifts Orton up for the FU again. Orton counters again and slides down Cena’s back. Orton then wraps his left arm around Cena’s throat and hits his variation of his backbreaker/neck breaker. Orton covers Cena.

Thre…Cena kicks out!

The audience cheers and then boos as Cena kicked out of Orton’s modified backbreaker. Orton looks at the referee. The ref says it was two. Orton goes over to the corner and climbs to the to turnbuckle. Cena makes it back to his feet. Orton flies off the top with a cross body. Cena ducks out of the way and Orton DRILLS THE REF. Orton looks around shocked. Cena catches Orton with a kick to the gut and then puts him on his shoulders. Cena then plants Orton with the FU. Cena covers Orton but there’s no ref. Cena gets up and tries to revive the ref. Orton rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair from ringside. Orton re-enters the ring. Cena turns around and Orton BLASTS him with the chair. Orton drops the chair. Orton tries to revive the ref. The referee begins to move a little. Orton covers a BLOODY Cena. The ref crawls over and tries to count.

THRE………Cena kicks out!

Orton gets up with a pissed look on his face. Orton drops an elbow on the ref. Orton then begins to punch a bloody Cena in the face. Orton then drops to the mat and stalks Cena. Cena struggles to get to his feet. Cena wobbles and then turns around. Orton jumps up and HITS THE RKO. Orton covers Cena. A second referee runs down to the ring and makes the cover.

THRE…Cena kicks out again!

The fans pop loudly with a few boos scattered throughout as Cena kicks out again. Orton gets in the referee’s face. Then out of anger, Orton shoves the referee. The referee shoves Orton back much to the crowd’s delight. Orton drops THE REF WITH THE RKO! Orton then picks up the chair and drops it in the middle of the ring. Orton then waits on Cena to get up again. A very bloody Cena gets slowly back to his feet. ORTON THEN PLANTS CENA WITH THE RKO ON THE STEEL CHAIR. Orton covers Cena. The first referee slowly crawls over to Orton and Cena and tries to count the cover.

(WINNER: Randy Orton via pinfall at 19:56)

J.R.: Damn it! Randy Orton stole this win over John Cena. Cena had the match won. Orton used the damn chair.

King: Randy is the winner. While John Cena is a bloody mess. Cena’s bleeding all over the place.

J.R.: We may need some help out here for Cena.

---Commercial Break---

***When we return from the break footage is shown of John Cena being helped to the back by the referees. We then cut back to ringside to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.***

J.R.: Orton’s actions tonight were reprehensible.

King: What are you talking about? Randy did what he had to do to win the match-up, J.R.

J.R.: First, Orton dropped an elbow drop on the referee. Then he hit Cena with a steel chair. THEN, he RKO’d another referee and FINALLY to top it all off he gave Cena an RKO on the damn chair.

King: Whatever it takes J.R….whatever it takes.

J.R.: Whatever, King. Anyway lets go to the coach at this time who is standing by with Melina.

King: Oooooooohh!! Melina!!

***We cut backstage to The Coach and Melina***

Coach: I am currently standing by with Melina. Now Melina, last week you were in a match with Trish Stratus. But that match certainly didn’t end the way you wanted it to.

***Footage is shown of the end of the match between Trish and Melina last week. In that match, the Women’s Champion Mickie James interfered in the match and took out both Trish and Melina.***

Melina: What you just saw, was that bitch Mickie James get involved in my business. So as of right now, I am issuing a challenge to Mickie for next week. Mickie, I want a Women’s Title match and I….What the hell do you want?

Trish Stratus comes into screenshot, receiving a good pop.

Trish: I just had to interrupt you Melina. I’m calling out Mickie James. Mickie was a pain in my side for about a year now and its time I got rid of her once and for all. Ever since I met Mickie she has made my life a living hell.

Melina: Wow, Trish that is so sad. I only wish…I COULD ACTUALLY CARE! I don’t give a damn what you’re problem with that bitch is. I get first dibs on kicking her ass.

Melina SLAPS Trish right across the face! Trish takes Melina down with a double leg takedown. Trish and Melina wrestle around on the ground for a couple of minutes before Johnny Nitro pulls Trish off of Melina and then takes Melina away.

Trish: THIS ISN’T OVER MELINA! I’m gonna…

Before Trish can finish what she was saying, the Women’s Champion, Mickie James, attacks Trish from behind. Mickie then lifts Trish off of the ground and slams her into the back area of the RAW set. Mickie stands over Trish with a sick smile on her face.

***We cut back to ringside***

J.R.: What the hell is going around here? Is everybody losing there damn mind? Melina wants Mickie. Trish wants Mickie. They both want to kill each other. Then Mickie annihilates Trish. Shane McMahon walks out on his daddy. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are pissed off at each other. HBK wrestles Kenny next week. Cena has been bloodied. Kane has been taking out. Edge and his group is running roughshod. Orton is doing what he wants. And guess what? WE STILL GOT A DAMN TITLE MATCH TONIGHT DAMN IT!

King: This has been the most crazy edition of RAW that I can remember in a long time.

J.R.: I need to relax. Up next….“The Rated R Superstar” Edge defends the prestigious WWE Championship against the 16-time World Champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Can Flair get it done for the seventeenth time?

King: We find out.

---Commercial Break---

The audience is standing on their feet as they are about to see a title match. “Space Odyssey” hits to an enormous ovation . Ric Flair exits the backstage area and enters onto the stage, receiving a tremendous pop and several “whoos!” Flair struts down the aisle and enters the ring. Flair takes off his robe and waits for the champion to arrive. Several seconds of silence pass until… "Metalingus" hits to an unreal amount of heat. The WWE Champion Edge (w/Lita) makes his way down to the ring. Edge enters the ring and hand his championship to the referee.

Lilian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP (Loud pop as the referee lifts the title over his head)! And introducing the challenger, hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 234 pounds, he is a former 16-time World Heavyweight Champion (loud pop), “The Nature Boy” RIC FLAIR (Loud pop)!………And his opponent, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is “The Rated R Superstar” and the reigning and defending WWE Champion, EDGE (tremendous heat from the audience)!

J.R.: Can you feel the tension in this arena right now?

King: Absolutely J.R., this is a huge match.

J.R.: Edge, Ric Flair. “The Rated R Superstar” and “The Nature Boy” one-on-one for the most important prize in the business.

The bell rings and here we go….

Match #5
“The Rated R Superstar” Edge © vs. “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair for the WWE Championship

After 7 minutes of action, Edge is in complete control of the match-up. Edge takes down Flair with a right hand. Edge then grabs Flair’s right leg and mocks the Flair strut. Edge then attempts to apply the Figure-four leg lock. Flair counters by rolling up Edge into a small package.

2.……………….Edge kicks out.

Edge and Flair both get back to their feet. Edge charges at Flair but Flair catches him with a knife-edged chop. Flair then hits him with another one. Edge kicks Flair in the gut and then shoots him off the ropes. Edge jumps up and catches him with a dropkick. Edge then “Flair struts” his way into the corner and waits. Flair slowly gets up to his feet. Edge charges out of the corner. Flair hits a drop toe hold, which causes Edge to land face-first on the bottom turnbuckle. Flair gets back up to his feet as Edge stumbles around, dazed. Flair dives at Edge and hits a chop block. Flair then gets up and struts around the ring. Edge struggles to get back to his feet. Flair grabs Edge, lifts him up and hits a shin breaker. Flair then grabs one of Edge’s legs. The fans begin to “Whoo!” as they know what is coming next. Flair applies the Figure-Four Leglock on Edge. Edge screams in pain. Edge lays back in effort to relieve some of the pressure. The ref counts the pin.

Edge sits up.

Lita gets up on the ring apron and tries to enter the ring. The referee stops Lita. Flair lets go of the hold and walks over to Lita. Flair then gives Lita a thumb to the eye, much to the delight of the crowd. Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin and Johnny Nitro run down to the ring and surround the ring. Flair becomes distracted by the young athletes surrounding the ring. “One Of a Kind” hits to a LOUD ovation. Rob Van Dam, Carlito, and Joey Mercury run down to the ring. Benjamin, Nitro, and Masters meet the other three superstars at the middle of the ramp and the 6 men begin to brawl. Back in the ring, Edge and Flair exchange right hands and chops respectively. The referee is distracted by the 6 men brawling on the outside of the ring. Flair drops to his knees and catches Edge with a low blow. Flair then reapplies the Figure Four on Edge. Edge prepares to tap out but….Lita pulls the referee out of the ring. Lita drills the referee with a right hand. Lita then grabs Edge’s title belt and enters the ring. Lita attempts to hit Flair with the title. Flair hits a drop toe hold on Lita. The arena erupts in “Whoos!” as Flair puts Lita in the Figure Four. The arena goes crazy until…..“Wreck” blasts over the P.A. system as the fans in the arena lose their minds. Clips of Cactus Jack many famous and bloody battles are shown on the titantron. Footage is then played of Foley bloodying Ric Flair at Vengeance. Jack’s voice then yells, “I WANT RIC FLAIR!” Flair looks at the titantron with a shocked look on his face. Flair turns around and runs into a SPEAR from Edge. The referee crawls back into the ring. Edge manages to cover Flair.

(WINNER and STILL WWE Champion: Edge via pinfall at 15:43)

J.R.: Edge keeps the title but……I uh……

J.R.: We had heard rumors that Flair had been talking about wanting to get Foley in the ring.

King: Rumors, J.R.. Flair had this long, drawn out statement on WWE.com the night after Vengeance. He was calling Foley a punk and said he wanted Foley in the ring again. Guess what Flair? Be careful what you ask for cause you got CACTUS JACK!

J.R.: Flair is in trouble. He gets screwed out of the title and now he’s got to deal with……

King: Go ahead. Say it J.R.. Flair is gonna get destroyed by CACTUS JACK!

J.R.: Goodbye, everybody. DAMN IT! Edge is still the champion.

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

Edge segment- I know Edge is attempting to “butter up” the others but I found it odd to see Edge proclaiming Shelton as a future world champion, seeing as he currently holds the strap. I did like the introductions on his part and the timely RVD interruption.

RVD v Masters- solid match if a bit too long. The menacing presence of Edge’s army was a nice touch. Big win for Masters.

Edge’s army/ Flair’s troops- it’s nice and concise, short and sweet. Flair seems passionate but reserved. This suggests that he is ready. Having the team of faces with him also suggests that he is prepared for any contingencies.

Vince/Shane segment- a bit of “calm before the storm” until Shane literally stormed out.

Umaga v. Snitsky- you did a good job with AAE. The match was a good vehicle to put Umaga over.

HBK/ HHH segment- I like it. It was humorous (to me) and serious at the same time.

Randy Orton segment- life does imitate art. You give it a “real” feel by touching on some truths. It seems personal between Cena and Orton

Bearer/ Mitchell/ Kane segment and Mitchell with Coach- pretty much as I expected. It was good to see Heidenreich have some involvement. Will be interesting to see Kane’s return of serve.

Kenny v Haas- I was hoping Haas would be put over in this one. Anyway, good match.

Kenny/ HHH/ Michaels segment- more tension between the DX members

Vince/Shane segment- I didn’t expect that. I thought Shane would take the position and take from the rich (Vince) and give to the poor (fans) like a modern day Robin Hood. The next installment of this little feud will be interesting.

DX segment- I thought this was unnecessary as you already have our attention with this one.

Cena segment- I guess we needed a reply from Cena

Cena v. Orton- a very long match and not sure if it could keep the attention of the fans especially with Cena involved. Good finish with Orton winning to continue this feud.

Trish/ Melina segment- a three way is surely in the works.

Edge v. Flair- I like the booking of the 6 men fighting on the entryway. You could have had Cactus Jack physically cost Flair the title but you didn’t rely on that. A simple titantron appearance effectively cost Flair the match. Good.

Overall- you have a tendency of booking long matches and that is the only thing that I can really complain about. All the feuds can be continued and that is due to your thought out booking of the matches. 9 +/ 10

Edge promo: Good promo by Edge to put over the members of his newly formed stable. Nice interruption of Van Dam. 8/10

RVD vs. Masters: Nice match showing off the strength of Edge’s group. Shelton jumping to the top rope and costing Van Dam the match was well done. Flair’s short promo was effective in hyping the ME. 8/10

Vince/Shane segment: A lot of tension between Shane and Vince as Vince is obsessed with DX. 8/10

Umaga vs. Snitsky: Squash match but it put over Umaga. 6/10

DX Segment: Great segment between HHH and Michaels. I hope you don’t break them up. I think its too soon. 9/10

Orton promo: Nice promo setting up the premise of the Orton-Cena feud. Orton mentioning guys like Wade Keller in his promo was a nice touch. 9/10

Bearer/Kane/Mitchell/Abyss segment: Nice segment to debut Abyss even though it was obvious who it was going to be. 7.5/10

Kenny vs. Haas: Good match to put Kenny over. Kenny wins clean that means Kenny may be in line for a push. 7/10

DX/Kenny: Michaels stealing HHH’s match just adds more tension to a possible DX break up. 8/10

Vince/Shane segment 2: Shane walks out on Vince. I guess the DX thing is really making Vince crazy. I hope Shane comes back eventually. 8/10

DX segment 2: Nice segment. 7/10

Cena promo: Nice intense promo from Cena hyping up his match with Randy Orton later. 7.5/10

Orton vs. Cena: Absolutely great match. MOTN! Glad to see Orton pick up the win and having Cena kick out of almost anything was a good way to keep Cena strong. I hope you continue this feud as it has been the best thing on the show IMO. 9.5/10

Melina/Trish/Mickie segment: Great segment and great promo by Melina. All three of the divas were in character perfectly. 9.5/10

Edge vs. Flair for the WWE Championship: Another great match. Flair looked like he was gonna when the title until the Cactus Jack vignette aired. Cactus vs. Flair should be great. It’ll probably be at SummerSlam. 9/10

Overall: Another great show. You’ve been doing a great job with your last three shows. Keep up the good work. 9.5/10

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

Edge segment: Good way to start off this three hour speical edition of RAW. Edge bragging and talking about his army typical Heel action. Glad Van Dam came out to shut Edge up.

Chris Masters vs. RVD: Good match here, way better then I excepcted. Edge's army costing RVD was good and putting over Masters was real smart. Ric Flair, Carlito, and Mercury coming to make the save was good along with the promo from Flair.

Vince/Shane segment: Good segment here hyping up the GM announcement later on tonight. Shane and Vince gets into a little agrument, for some reason I think Shane isn't going be annouced as General Manger.

Umaga vs. Snitsky: Squash match just to put over Umaga but I think every show needs a squash match.

DX segment: Good segment here, a little fussing here as excepcted when you accidently hit someone with a sledgehammer. I hope you don't split up DX

Orton segment: Good promo here from Orton and he's in charcter the whole time. Can't wait for the Orton/Cena match.

Bearer/Kane segment: Good segment here but I knew it was going be Abyss. Heidenriech getting involved was good. Abyss beats the hell out of Kane and what a debut.

Kenny vs. Haas: Decent match here but I kinda saw it as a squash to put over the Spirit Squad.

Kenny segment: Alright promo here by Kenny which draws out DX. HBK vs. Kenny next week should be good but I don't know about all this DX tension.

GM annoucement: Vince annouces Shane as GM not a big shock but I really wasn't expecting it. Vince still obessed with DX and Shane walks out. I hope a Vince/Shane fued happens cause it would be good.

DX segment: Really didn't like this because as I said before I think Shawn and Triple H as already all they can do and don't you think it's a bit to eariler and if you really want to split them up can't Vince just do it.

Cena promo: Good promo here and I found it funny how you said high pitched cheers showing girls was cheering for him.

Cena vs. Orton: MOTN here and I loved it. What a match and so many false finishes to make even more dramatic. Orton being put over was good espically after all that Cena took.

Melina/Trish sement: Good segment here with a little bit of a cat fight. Mickie attacking Trish from behind was good also can't what for a triple threat between these three.

Flair vs. Edge: Good match and it seemed realistic with Edge being in control for the most part of the match. Carlito, Mercury, and Rob Van Dam coming out to fight Edge's army was good and brought more to the match. Loved the ending with Cactus Jack costing Flair the match. Edge retains how he should have and Flair vs. Jack should be good.

Overall show. Your best show yet and this three hour special was amazing. I can't wait to read more of your shows cause they are really good. 8.3/10

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

Good show.

The Edge promo was very well done. You can tell he's still out for himself (and Lita) and is just keeping the rest of the army onside.

The RVD v Masters match was good with Edge's army raising hell. Always good to have a heel faction and this will be a good one. Flair's lot going after them makes a nice contrast.

DX was well done - I'm in suspense as I think it could go either way. Wouldn't be shocked to see an HBK turn.

Orton's promo was great, I like the shoot stuff you threw in there. Its always good when superstars deviate from the norm

Kane thing was good, great debut from Abyss. Hopefully we see more of Bearer too

Kenny v Haas was a good way to push Kenny

I like the set up for Vince/Shane and I like the way that Vince is losing the plot and is obsessed with DX - very realistic.

The Cena promo was great and the match was better than it would be if it actually happened on Raw! Loved all the false finishes and Orton attacking the ref really solidifies him as a heel.

Your Women's Division is booked very well - everyone is in character and looking forward to a possible Triple Threat match for the belt.

Edge v Flair was great. Edge and Lita on great form as always. Nice to see Lita heavily involved and I'd nearly forgotten about Foley so nicely done to bring him back into it and move Flair on.

Regal: He made me kiss his backside but it was a pleasure because it was such a wonderful backside.
