Thumbs up 2 Matches I Just Wrote?

2 matches.

Match 1
Chris Benoit vs. Jun Akiyama

Chris Benoit’s Music hits and Chris Benoit comes out to the stage to the cheer of an appreciative Charlotte, North Carolina crowd.

Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at 225 pounds, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada…CHRIS BENOIT!

Chris Benoit is wearing yellow wrestling pants with black, green and red wolverine claw marks down the sides of each pant leg and black wrestling boots. Chris Benoit gets to the ring and climbs in through the second rope. He stretches out using the ropes and jumps up and down a bit and then waits in the center of the ring, staring at the stage, awaiting his opponent.

Then, mysterious music hits and the crowd gets anxious at who might possible be coming out to face the “Rabid Wolverine” Chris Benoit!

Then, Japanese legend and former NOAH GHC World Heavyweight Champion, Jun Akiyama appears on the stage to the shocked, but supportive Charlotte, North Carolina crowd.

Tony Chimel: Introducing second, his opponent, weighing in at 240 pounds, from Izumi City, Osaka, Japan…JUN AKIYAMA!

Jun Akiyama is wearing white wrestling tights with a gold trim, a sleeveless white trench coat, white knee pads and white wrestling boots. Jun Akiyama gets to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope. He removes his coat and tosses it into the corner.

Then he jumps up and down and crisscrossing his arms a few times, before stopping and locking eyes with Chris Benoit!

The crowd is white hot at the possibilities this match could bring them.

Then, the referee, Charles Robinson, brings the two together in the center of the ring, ask for a good, clean match between the two. Then, Chris Benoit and Jun Akiyama shake hands, much, again, to the appreciation of the Charlotte, North Carolina crowd.

Then the referee breaks it up and asks for the bell to be rung.

Ding, Ding, Ding.

The match begins with Chris Benoit and Jun Akiyama circling each other in the ring, eyeing each other intently with ultra focused looks in each of their eyes. Then, the two of them lock up in a collar and elbow, going for a test of strength. The two struggle back and forth for a few seconds, until Chris Benoit wins it and whips Jun Akiyama over into a deep arm drag, bring him down to the mat. Then, Jun Akiyama tries to break free as the two get tangled up in the ropes. Referee, Charles Robinson, asks for a clean break and both competitors break themselves. Both get back up to their feet and stare each other down, again. Then another collar and elbow tie up. Jun Akiyama then turns the tables on Chris Benoit and pushes him into the ropes. Chris Benoit bounces off the ropes and runs into a hard clothesline from Jun Akiyama. Jun Akiyama then picks up Chris Benoit off the mat and back him up into the corner, up against the turnbuckle and releases a group of vicious knife edge chops on Chris Benoit. 1…2…3…. Chris Benoit screams in pain as his chest is starting to turn red from the stinging chops to the chest. Then, Jun Akiyama goes for a 4th chop, however, before he connects on Chris Benoit, Chris Benoit reaches up and blocks it. Chris Benoit then comes back with a chop of his own. Jun Akiyama staggers backwards a bit. Chris Benoit then grabs him on a go behind and pushes him back into the corner. Chris Benoit then begins with his own set of chops. 1…2…3…4…5. The crowd screams “WOOOOOOOOOO”, in between each on one. Then, Chris Benoit goes for another chop, just like Jun Akiyama did earlier and Jun Akiyama returns the favour with a block of the 6th chop from Chris Benoit, just like earlier, then Jun Akiyama, goes behind on Chris Benoit again. Then he grabs
Chris Benoit on the wrist and tries to whip him across the ring into the opposite corner, however, Chris Benoit locks his arm and blocks it. Then, he reveres it and grabs
Jun Akiyama’s arm and whips him into the corner, but Jun Akiyama goes on a reversal and he sends Chris Benoit into the corner HARD! Chris Benoit hits the corner with such velocity that he bounces back toward the center of the ring, where Jun Akiyama grabs him and rolls him up quick into a roll up.

1…2…

KICK OUT!

Chris Benoit kicks out, sending Jun Akiyama rolling backward toward the corner. Chris Benoit then gets up and backs Jun Akiyama into the corner full and then starts to ground and pound him with a series of short front kicks, while hanging onto the top rope for leverage. Chris Benoit is just brutalizing him with very stiff kicks. Then, Chris Benoit reserves it and starts in, again, with a series of knife edge chops, again. 1…2…3…. Then, Jun Akiyama blocks, again the 4th chop and tries to power out of the corner with punches to the head of Chris Benoit. Jun Akiyama hits 4 straight punches and they start backing out of the corner back toward the center of the ring, again. Jun Akiyama then goes for another punch, but Chris Benoit again, blocks it and grabs Jun Akiyama by and arm and takes him down to the mat with an arm drag. Then, Chris Benoit grabs Jun Akiyama into a side headlock on the ground. Jun Akiyama is on his knees, still in the headlock from Chris Benoit. The pressure is building and Jun Akiyama is looking like his is going to fade. However, somehow, he breaks the hold and gets back up on one knee. Then, Jun Akiyama starts to really battle out with some elbows to the ribs of Chris Benoit. The hold starts to loosen somewhat, as the elbows start to wear Chris Benoit down. Finally, Jun Akiyama finally gets free and pushes at Chris Benoit and then pokes him in the eye. This draws heat from the crowd, however, Jun Akiyama doesn’t care and continues to focus on Chris Benoit. Jun Akiyama then kicks Chris Benoit in the stomach, doubling him over. Jun Akiyama then picks him up and hooks his arms and throws him over in a beautiful Butterfly Suplex. Jun Akiyama then picks up Chris Benoit again and hits him with a series of hard knife edge chops, again, backing him into the ropes. Jun Akiyama then runs toward the corner at Chris Benoit, however, Chris Benoit moves out of the way and Jun Akiyama goes hard into the turnbuckle, chest first. Then, Chris Benoit turns Jun Akiyama around and starts chopping him in the corner. 1…2…3 chops, until he stops and kicks Jun Akiyama in the stomach. Then, Chris Benoit grabs him in a front waist lock in the corner and throws him over in a nice Belly to Belly Suplex into a Bridge.

1…2…

KICK OUT!

Jun Akiyama kicks out and rolls over and through Chris Benoit. They are still attached at the waist and begin to roll around on the mat with Jun Akiyama trying to break the iron grip of Chris Benoit’s waist lock. He finally does and he gets to his feet and picks Chris Benoit up off the mat. Jun Akiyama then again hits a series of knife edge chops, until he grabs Chris Benoit and puts him in a side head lock. Now, Chris Benoit is on the defense as Jun Akiyama is start to mount some offense for the first time in this very even match, so far. On the mat, with Jun Akiyama still with the side head lock on Chris Benoit, the crowd is starting to get restless for something exciting to happen. Then, Jun Akiyama, when he thinks he has worn Chris Benoit down enough, picks him up and attempts a Suplex. However, Chris Benoit blocks it and pushes off and goes behind Jun Akiyama. Chris Benoit then grabs a waist lock and executes a German Suplex of his own. This takes Jun Akiyama down hard to the mat. Then, Chris Benoit picks up Jun Akiyama and hits a trio of quick Snap Suplexes. Then, he picks up Jun Akiyama and throws him into the ropes. Jun Akiyama shoots off the ropes back toward Chris Benoit, who catches him in a deep arm drag. Then, Chris Benoit attempts to grab, the arm of Jun Akiyama, but Jun Akiyama blocks it and rolls out backward. Then, Jun Akiyama gets to his feet as he is still attached to Chris Benoit at the wrist, from the Arm Drag, however, Jun Akiyama then reverse it and goes behind into his own wristlock on Chris Benoit. Jun Akiyama then wrenches the arm of Chris Benoit, then again, as Chris Benoit screams in pain. Then, Jun Akiyama reverses it and sends Chris Benoit into the ropes. Chris Benoit comes off the ropes and Jun Akiyama catches him by the arm and trips Chris Benoit up and down to the mat. Then, Jun Akiyama locks him a Arm Bar with Chris Benoit on his stomach. Chris Benoit squirms around, trying to get free, but, Jun Akiyama keeps the pressure on. Then, Jun Akiyama reaches over and grabs Chris Benoit’s other arm, stretching him out across the shoulders. Then, Jun Akiyama plants his knee into the shoulder blades of Chris Benoit and rolls over onto his back, putting Chris Benoit in a Inverted Bow and Arrow Surfboard. Jun Akiyama continues to wrench the arms back, applying even more pressure, but then, somewhere, Chris Benoit finds the strength and he manages to roll over Jun Akiyama and then he rolls him through into another quick roll up.

1…2…

KICK OUT!

Jun Akiyama kicks out. Chris Benoit then rolls over through the kick out attempt and back to his feet, just as Jun Akiyama gets up. They are both to their feet now and they stare each other down, again. Both go in and grab each other’s fingertips in a test of strength, but it is over quickly after Jun Akiyama knees Chris Benoit in the stomach. Then,
Jun Akiyama grabs Chris Benoit and shoots him into the ropes. Chris Benoit comes off the ropes and Jun Akiyama grabs him into a German Suplex, then another, after which he releases Chris Benoit, who goes crashing to the mat. Then, Jun Akiyama picks up Chris Benoit and rolls him into a vicious Swinging Neck Breaker. Then, Jun Akiyama picks up Chris Benoit again and shoots him into the ropes, however, Chris Benoit blocks it and reserves it, but Jun Akiyama does the same, but Chris Benoit returns the favour again and Jun Akiyama goes into the ropes. Jun Akiyama comes off the ropes and Chris Benoit takes him down again with a Drop Toe Hold. Chris Benoit then grabs his leg and tries to turn
Jun Akiyama over, so he can apply the Sharpshooter, however, Jun Akiyama powers out with his legs and sends Chris Benoit down to the mat. However, Chris Benoit gets up quickly, before Jun Akiyama can attack him and hits Jun Akiyama with a knee to the stomach. Then, Chris Benoit chops at Jun Akiyama back into the ropes. Then, Chris Benoit turns and runs toward the ropes on the other side of the ring, then charges back at Jun Akiyama, but Jun Akiyama grabs him and attempts a Belly to Belly Suplex, but Chris Benoit blocks it and unleashes one of his own, sending Jun Akiyama back into the center of the ring. Chris Benoit then grabs Jun Akiyama’s leg and again attempts to set up the Sharpshooter, but again, Jun Akiyama kicks free and gets to his feet. Jun Akiyama then grabs Chris Benoit by the head and hits him with a DDT. Chris Benoit is down and out on the mat. Then picks up, Chris Benoit and attempts to hit him with a another high impact move, a Powerbomb, however, in mid air, Chris Benoit squirms out of it and faces off with Jun Akiyama again. Another stare down ensues. Chris Benoit then goes and locks up again with Jun Akiyama in a hand lock and eventually wins and pushes him off and into the ropes. Jun Akiyama hits the ropes and bounces off, but is immediately met with a shoulderblock from Chris Benoit. Chris Benoit then goes and grabs the leg of Jun Akiyama, then he tries to turn Jun Akiyama over into the Sharpshooter. The crowd is tense with anticipation, however, Jun Akiyama again blocks the attempt and powers out again. However, like a madman, before Jun Akiyama can get to his feet, Chris Benoit cuts him off and knocks him down again, but this time instead of goes for the leg, he attempts to go for a waistlock.
