cena&torrierock's Review on ECW

Opening Promo: It was nicely written for a "welcome-back" promo. Paul Heyman's speech was well-written and I could imagine him saying that on television. Kennedy coming out afterwards and demanding he be traded back to Smackdown! made me chuckle a bit. I do find it a bit strange that he's the only non-Original participating in thje Extreme Tournament but I know you're going somewhere with this and that it'll be good. I can't wait for Kennedy vs. RVD. It's going to be a great match!
Grade: 9/10

Justin Credible vs. Mr. Kennedy: I was rooting for Credible during this match even though I knew he was going to lose for sure. After reading this, I was hoping you'd maybe have someone get an upset win right before that certain person faces RVD at the pay-per-view for the ECW title. It could create a possible three-way. Well anyway back on topic, a nicely written match that was unfortunately predictable.
Grade: 8.5/10

Danny Doring Promo: It sounds just about right. You could've gone into a little bit more detail, seeing as it is a promo and not a match recap. But I like what he said even though it is slightly generic.
Grade: 7.5/10

Tommy Dreamer & Sabu vs. Stevie Richards & Sandman: It was well-written and I liked how you got everyone involved and had Dreamer pin his to-be-opponent-next-week in this match. I was a bit disappointed that you pointed out that this match wasn't given much time because I'd honestly like to see this match and have it get a lengthy time, maybe 6-8 minutes perhaps. Nice win by the faces there, though.
Grade: 8/10

RVD & Kelly Kelly Interview: This was better written than the Danny Doring Promo. This interview, although recapped, included lots of detail and was pretty specific in terms of what he was saying. Nice job on the interview, and also good to know you're putting Kelly Kelly in a role on ECW Television.
Grade: 8.5/10

RVD vs. Balls Mahoney: A great Main Event that was well-written and highlighted the main spots of the match. I really enjoyed the match and enjoyed the fact that you pointed out all the spots, and you used some emotion in the recap which is almost never done in most BTBs. I'm a bit annoyed that Balls Mahoney is Main Eventing because I don't really see him as Main Event material. I would've rathered RVD face and dominate either Stevie Richards or Sandman, IMO. But it was a great match and I had to point out how much I liked how you had Kennedy clapping sarcastically for RVD at the end- Amusing!
Grade: 9.5/10

Overall Grades:
Promos: 8.3/10
Matches: 8.7/10
Show: 8.5/10

It was a good first ECW show but the things I didn't really like were 1) the fact that your promos, aside from the Opening Promo, were all recapped and some were lacking in-detail while some weren't, and 2) that what could've been a better match than the Main Event itself was given very little time on the show. The Tag match should've Main Evented, come to think of it. But anyway, good job on putting out a pretty successful first show.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

cena&torrierock's Review on Smackdown!

Opening Promo: I really enjoyed this opening promo. It was much better than the one for ECW, IMO. Kurt's speech was very emotional and that allowed me to enjoy it even more. I liked the fact that you didn't have Edge & Burchill come out to the ring right away but have them stay backstage at the beginning then go down to the ring after being called out yet again. Kurt Angle telling Edge to shut up midway through his speech was pure gold! Why do I have a feeling that you're going to pull a John Cena at the Royal Rumble 2008 with Kurt Angle? I bet No Way Out's going to see Angle & Michaels vs. Orton & Edge, I just know it! Anyway, Triple H's interference was very random as well as shocking. I wonder where you're going with this. Is The Game aligning himself with Edge? Hmmm...
Grade: 10/10

Deuce & Domino vs. the Hooliganz: As this is the first time I'm actually reading Smackdown!, I'm a bit confused as to what the hell Jamie Noble was doing ringside. Anyway, I'm hoping you continue to have D&D feud with Londron and Kendrick, it has the potential to be a great feud, especially since all four are talented competitors. I don't know what's the deal with Jamie Noble but I'm going to guess that he has some sort of problem or beef with Paul London. Hopefully you don't turn this around and break up the Hooliganz. They're a great team who I would hate to see get broken up. Anyway, nice to see D&D win. Maybe we'll see a title shot next week, and also get Cherry more involved. Have her whack London with her roller-skates or something.
Grade: 9/10

Maryse & Matt Hardy Interview: I have to admit I was laughing when I was reading this, mainly because I was reading Maryse's parts hearing her voice in my head. You make Maryse seem so fluent in the English language when she really isn't, lol. Anyway, I was glad to see Matt acting modest yet confident about his win over Kennedy. Then Dykstra comes in and ruins Hardy's golden moment. It's quite obvious a feud between them is developing which I'm really happy about since nobody really pushes Dykstra in their BTBs. I have to comment on how much I hate Dykstra's pairing with Ashley. Ashley will play a horrible heel. Either have her stay face or just fire her, I hate her with a burning passion!
Grade: 8.5/10

CM Punk & Mysterio vs. Regal & Dave Taylor: It's probably just me but I find the pairing of CM Punk and Rey Mysterio a bit odd, lol. I did like this match as you wrote it really well, and you included the highlights of the good spots in the match which was entertaining. I liked how you had Punk make Taylor tap out to win the match but after seeing the ending, I don't think a tag match was necessary at all. Punk vs. Taylor would've done the trick. Continue with Regal vs. Punk, Regal in any feud is bound to be entertaining, especially if you have him cut some good promos to further his character development. If you'd like, bring up Katie Lea and you could have an all-Brit stable with Taylor, Regal and Lea. It would work well.
Grade: 8.5/10

John Cena & Finlay Promo: There were three things that I would like to point out. 1) You made Cena sound so much more mature than he actually is on current WWE Television. So kudos to you for doing so, plus your use of emotion in his speech does the trick and gets his actual point across, and it makes it easier for people to envision it in their heads. 2) Why must Cena always resort to using discrimination when calling out anyone that's different compared to him? It's very childish and we don't live in the 1950's so I don't see why discrimination should even be used. It just makes Cena look retarded, old-fashioned and culturally-ignorant. 3) Finlay revealing that MVP was his replacement was a huge twist and seeing as MVP is a great in-ring worker while Cena is OK, I can see MVP pulling out all the great spots in the match with Cena getting in his regular three before getting the win a la all his matches. You would've gotten a "10" for this part had you not resorted to having John Cena use discrimination.
Grade: 9/10

Kane vs. Kid Kash: Pure squash match, very predictable and continues to make Kane look "dominant". Hopefully you don't have him do this (squash wrestlers) for weeks on end when you have nothing for him storyline-wise.
Grade: 10/10

Kristal Marshall & Batista Interview: I'm really interested in your plans for Batista. Maybe you could do a three-way with Batista, Kane and 'Taker. That would be really interesting. But anyway back on topic, good interview with Batista addressing all the necessary aspects. I'd like to see you either involve Batista with Kane, 'Taker or both. Any of the three will be fine with me and they'll definetely entertain pretty much everyone who reads your BTB.
Grade: 9/10

Matt Hardy vs. Kenny Dykstra: If you want to pair someone with Dykstra, pair him up with Victoria. I'd rather her be paired with Dykstra than Ashley. Just fire her, please!! Anyway back on topic, the match sounded really good. I was hoping you'd have Hardy get a roll-up or something on Dykstra to get the win then have Dykstra attack Hardy afterwards or even have Dykstra get the upset. Well anyway, this is bound to be a good feud. I suggest you have Hardy go through at least two challengers before having him drop the title to either his second or third challenger. But I wouldn't mind seeing him drop it to Dykstra and seeing the title go back and forth between the two, it would be very appealing, I believe.
Grade: 8.5/10

JBL, Chavo Guerrero & Edge Backstage: I liked how JBL didn't give either Chavo or Edge straight answers to what they had asked of him. It leaves a little surprise and shock-factor in the future, this'll be good. I liked how JBL almost told Edge to "shut the f*ck up and get to damn point!" I was cracking up! Good job on this promo, though. It was nicely written and it conveyed how impatient JBL is.
Grade: 9/10

Main Event: I was glad to see Undertaker return to the ring after such a long time but seeing Mark Henry in the Main Event is just sickening, he doesn't deserve it. Anyway, I wasn't too fond of Batista attacking 'Taker during the match and giving him the DQ Win. I would've rathered that Undertaker get the clean win over Mark Henry and THEN have Batista and Umaga attack 'Taker afterwards. Kane running out as slightly expected, and I guessed the match immediately but I thought that the announced match (Kane/Taker vs. Batista/Umaga) would happen next week on Smackdown! instead of at No Way Out. Either way, it's bound to be a spectacular match. Maybe you could have 'Tista vs. Batista, and Kane vs. Umaga at Wrestlemania. It would work really well, I believe.
Grade: 10/10

Overall Grades:
Promos: 9.1/10
Matches: 9.2/10
Show: 9.2/10

A great show that was much better than ECW. You should write ECW out like this, it'd be much better, IMO. I really enjoyed this show, it was very entertaining. Good job!

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview
Monday February 5, 2007
Sioux City, Iowa

Times Up

It has been two weeks since Shawn Michaels won the Royal Rumble and now his time is up. Tonight on Raw at the top of the hour he must announce whom he will be challenging for the title at WrestleMania. Will he challenge the WWE Champion from Raw in Randy Orton or will he choose to face Smackdown's World-Heavyweight Champion in Edge? Only HBK knows but we'll find out tonight!

Deadly Game

Last week on Friday Night Smackdown Triple H brutally attacked the already injured Kurt Angle. Triple H's motive...we don't have a clue. Tonight we look to get insight into why Triple H attacked Kurt Angle but will we be succesful in it? This all could have something to do with him losing to Rob Van Dam last week on RVD's last match but nobody knows what it is.

Irish Eyes Are Watching

At the Royal Rumble Finlay felt the need to eliminate illegally by the way John Cena from the Royal Rumble after Cena had dumped Finlay out. Cena last week issued a challenge to Finlay at No Way Out and said that he would be at Smackdown this past week. Cena did indeed show up but he didn't expect to receive what he got. Finlay stated he's been having "back problems" but he did find an opponent for Cena...MVP! So now it's set for No Way Out when Cena takes on MVP and Finlay will be in MVP's corner.

All of this and more on Monday Night Raw this Monday at 9/8ET on the USA Network.

----------------

Ok. Thanks for all of those reviews. I need to get to returning them. I know I need to review Legend, cenaandtorrierock, Wolfy, and I'll go back and check too. So look for those whenever you get a show up.

As for Raw look for it most likely Saturday or Sunday.

Monday Night Raw
Monday February 5, 2007
Sioux City, Iowa

Across the Nation plays as the normal Raw video package airs before we cut to a shot of the WWE champion Randy Orton holding his title high to close the video. The camera pans across the arena after the pyro go off before we cut down to the commentating team at ringside.

Jim Ross: Welcome everybody and tonight is a stacked edition of Raw because we will be finding out whom Shawn Michaels will challenge at WrestleMania!

Jerry Lawler: We’ve been waiting two weeks for that JR and by god it’s about time we find out! JR plus both of the champions are in the ring right now!

Jim Ross: You are right because Randy Orton and Edge are here and there is no telling what will go down since they are both here.

Jerry Lawler: Well let’s go ahead and get this night kicked of be...

The camera cuts into the ring to show Edge and Randy Orton all ready standing in the ring. The Cutting Edge show is set up as Edge grabs a mic and kicks the show off.

Edge: Last week on Raw you all witnessed the destruction of Shawn Michaels whenever I came down and speared the hell right out of Shawn Michaels!

The crowd boos as Edge shows a sick smile.

Edge: But that’s not all…. oh no no no! See we’re Rated RKO and we don’t just stop with a spear! We go the whole damn way! And that’s just what we did! Randy and myself both took the steel chairs and proceeded to beat the hell out of Shawn Michaels! We laid out your precious little HBK and he’ll be lucky if he’s even able to come here tonight to make a decision.

The crowd starts a big HBK chant as Edge covers his ears mocking the fans.

Edge: I really don’t want to be here tonight but I was told that I was forced to be here. I really don’t have much of a choice but once I find out Shawn Michaels’s decision I’ll be sure to get the hell out of here tonight!

Edge hands the mic over to Orton as the crowd boos the hell out of Edge.

Randy Orton: Very nice Edge. Let me go ahead and say something before HBK comes out here. You see I do realize that he has a very impressive resume. Does that affect me? HELL NO!

The crowd boos wanting HBK to get out here and interrupt this snore fest.

Randy Orton: I’ve looked over the list of people that Shawn Michaels has beaten and there is not a name on that list that impresses me. Not a damn single one! There isn’t a thing about Shawn Michaels that makes me concerned about him. Quite frankly I wonder why you idiotic fans sometimes cheer this pathetic piece of crap!

Orton asks Edge something.

Randy Orton: Edge is there any…

Sexy Boy plays across the arena as out steps Shawn Michaels the winner of the 2007 Royal Rumble! HBK comes out onto the stage ripping his shirt off and getting down on his knees praying. HBK makes his way down the ramp slapping hands with the fans but not taking his eyes off of the champions. The camera zooms in to show HBK’s head has a big bandage on it where he took the Con-chair-to last week. Michaels rolls into the ring looking ready to hit Edge and Orton right now but Coach holds him back for a moment before calming him down.

Edge: Aw…what’s wrong Shawn? Did I hit you so hard last week with the chair that you forgot what you were going to say?

Edge laughs as he looks at Orton as they both share a laugh.

Shawn Michaels: Listen Edge. I didn’t come out here tonight to play this crap. I came out here for one reason…

The crowd waits for it.

Shawn Michaels: To announce whom I’m challenging for the title at the Grandest Stage of them all…WrestleMania!

The crowd pops as HBK doesn’t smile but instead continues to stare at Edge and Orton.

Shawn Michaels: Now I’ve thought all week long about whom I wanted to face. I thought about the pros and the cons of each opponent and I realized something. I realized that no matter whom I face I’m going to have to listen to both of you run your big mouths all up until WrestleMania. So that’s my first point…

The crowd laughs, as Edge and Orton look irate.

Shawn Michaels: Point number two…then I realized just how both of you are the biggest walking and talking idiots this company has seen.

HBK shows two fingers at Edge and Orton.

Shawn Michaels: And finally point three! I realized that if it weren’t for one of you…you would have never woken up this new side of Shawn Michaels. The side of HBK that hasn’t been seen in nearly ten years! The side that saw me realize me dreams at WrestleMania Twelve whenever I won my first title! You’ve awakened a beast inside of Mr. WrestleMania and that is why I want you….

The crowd waits as Edge and Orton look at one another wondering just who HBK is going to pick.

Shawn Michaels: EDGE!!!

The crowd goes wild as Edge sits up and gets right into the face of Shawn Michaels! HBK looks at Edge, as Orton has to hold Edge back from HBK. It seems as if tensions are about to explode now before Hard Hittin’ by Homebwoi plays across the arena. The Raw General Manager steps out onto the stage to a chorus of boos as he looks at the three men in the ring before he makes his way down the ramp.

Jonathan Coachman: Gentlemen…there’s no reason to fight since Shawn you’re no longer a member of the Raw roster. You can do that on your own show this Friday...

The crowd boos this part but is still excited about the match at WrestleMania.

Jonathan Coachman: But since both of you are here tonight on Raw I thought that I could book a preview match for No Way Out and WrestleMania. You see because tonight we’re going to be seeing Shawn Michaels taking on….

Coach points to Randy Orton.

Jonathan Coachman: The WWE Champion…Randy Orton! In what could have been Raw’s main event for WrestleMania 23. But now since that is not happening that will go on later tonight! And as for you Randy well I think I’ve already got an idea as for how we’re going to settle this little problem for WrestleMania.

The crowd pops now wanting to hear the announcement of Raw’s main event.

Jonathan Coachman: You see Shawn Michaels needs a tag partner in the Champions versus Contender’s match at No Way Out so I thought let’s go ahead and crown Raw’s number one contender for WrestleMania here tonight!

The crowd goes wild for this announcement as Orton looks interested.

Jonathan Coachman: That is why later tonight in that very ring…we’re going to have Raw’s top superstars facing off in a Fatal 4 Way where anything goes! And the winner faces you at WrestleMania Randy Orton! So here are the possible contenders…

The crowd wonders who Coach is going to announce.

Jonathan Coachman: Chris Jericho…

Crowd gives a mixed response for Jericho.

Jonathan Coachman: “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair…

The crowd goes wild as a big WOOO breaks out across the arena.

Jonathan Coachman: “The Game” Triple H….

The crowd boos the hell out of the mention of the Game.

Jonathan Coachman: And the Doctor of Thuganomics…John Cena!!!

The crowd gives a thunderous ovation for Cena.

Jonathan Coachman: So I’m wishing good luck to all four of those men and don’t worry Randy. You’ll know your contender by the end of the night!

Orton kicks the ropes as Coach makes his way out of the arena. We now proceed to head down to the commentating team at ringside.

Jim Ross: WOW! What an announcement there because Raw has just lost Shawn Michaels to Smackdown but what about Raw’s main event tonight!

Jerry Lawler: Two big main events JR because before Orton finds out his number one contender he has to fight Shawn Michaels!

Jim Ross: It’s going to be an insane night here on Raw because of the four men who will vie for a shot at Randy Orton’s title and that’ll be later on tonight!

---Commercial---

In the opening match of the evening we get a Divas tag match as the Women's Champion, Victoria, teams with Melina to take on Mickie James and Maria. Mickie gets some offense in on Victoria possibly re-igniting their feud from last September and Mickie forced Victoria to tag in Melina! Mickie tagged in Maria as Maria came in to get a bit of offense before tagging Mickie back in. Mickie said she wanted Victoria but Victoria simply bailed from the match and headed up the ramp. Victoria watched from the top as Mickie dropped Melina with the Mick DDT for the win.

Backstage we see Jeff Hardy getting interviewed by Todd Grisham. Todd asks Jeff about his match last week with Carlito and how he's realized that Carlito's attitude is starting to change. Hardy shows a replay with Carlito slapping the mat in anger two weeks ago. Jeff then issues a challenge to Carlito at No Way Out for their third match.

After the commercial we come back to see the divas in the Divas Locker Room. Many of them are arguing about who should be getting the next shot at the Women's Championship! Victoria walks in and says that she's beaten every diva there is on the roster and she has nothing left to prove to any of them!

We head into the arena to see Jeff Hardy going one on one against Gregory Helms. Helms and Hardy get a bit of action in during the non-title match as we see Carlito at ringside. Carlito is scouting his possible opponent at No Way Out. Hardy of course was able to get the win after Helms missed the Shining Wizard and Hardy was able to roll back onto his feet and drop Helms with a Twist of Fate followed by a Swanton Bomb. Carlito stood up staring down Hardy before we headed off to a break.

After another break we come back to see Triple H make his way down to the ring. Triple H hypes up the Fatal 4 Way tonight saying that just because he didn't main event last year's WresleMania doesn't mean that he won't do it this year. Hunter then goes in to talk about Kurt Angle and just why he attacked Kurt. Hunter says he was in a pissed off mood knowing he didn't have a chance heading into WrestleMania and well...Kurt just happened to be in the same situation as him. The fans are confused wondering what in the hell Triple H is talking about. Triple H says that he sees a lot in Kurt Angle. He sees a very bitter and frustrated man that lost at the Royal Rumble. Triple H talks about how it feels to not even have had a title shot in eight damn months! Hunter talks about Angle blowing his match at the Rumble. Triple H says that if he was on the B-show Smackdown there is no doubt in his mind that he'd have the title right now. Triple H says that Angle is a thing of the past now because he has WrestleMania on his mind! Triple H stays in the ring as its time for his match to go on.

Our third match of the night takes place which turns out to be the Fatal 4 Way for the Number One Contendership. Anything goes in this wild match and that’s indicated in the early going as Jericho, Flair, Hunter, and Cena are laying it all on the line to win the match tonight! All four men put on one classic match as it’s clear that all four men want to main event WrestleMania 23 as all four have done so before! Flair is taken out of the equation whenever Cena bashed him across the head with a steel chair and hit an F-U. Cena covered but his pin was broken up by the Game. This leaves the three men in the ring in Jericho, HHH, and Cena. Triple H was able to take Cena out of the equation with a big Spinebuster onto a chair before Jericho broke it up! The fans went wild as Jericho ran off the ropes and hit a big Lionsault onto Triple H! Jericho covered but only got a two-count meaning the match continues on. Chris Jericho gets back to his feet as he charges and drives the knees into the back of Triple H! Jericho picks Hunter up looking for possibly the Code Breaker but Triple H throws him into the turnbuckles! Triple H charges at Jericho in the corner and hits an impactful clothesline. Hunter drags Jericho out of the corner looking for the Pedigree but down comes Kurt Angle! Angle stops at bottom of the ramp with his shoulder wrapped as Hunter mouths words at him! Jericho spins Triple H around hitting the Code Breaker before locking in the Walls of Jericho. Angle gets in the face of Triple H telling the Game to give up as Triple H taps out and Jericho is going to WrestleMania!

We head backstage to see Raw GM Jonathan Coachman. Coach is sitting at his desk as he apparently has a few announcements to make. Coach first off confirms that Jeff Hardy will defend his Intercontinental title at No Way Out against Carlito! Coach then talks about how the Divas couldn’t get along earlier. Coach books a Number One Contender’s Battle Royal with every active Diva on the WWE roster to be in it. Coach says that the winner of the Battle Royal will then go on to face Victoria at WrestleMania 23 for the Women’s Championship. And finally Coach hypes up the Raw main event for WrestleMania 23 which is now Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho. Coach says that there will be a Contract Signing in two weeks time which also happens to be the night of the return of Raw Roulette!

After another commercial our fourth match of the evening takes place as Umaga completely bulldozes right through Eugene after the Samoan Spike. After Umaga decimates the special superstar Estrada gets on the mic. Armando Estrada talks about the No Way Out tag match in 13 days and says that at No Way Out Umaga will completely destroy not only the Undertaker but also Kane. Estrada tells Umaga to show us what he will do to mainly the Undertaker at No Way Out again. Umaga scoops Undertaker up and hits a big Samoan Spike as Eugene rolls around the ring in pain as Umaga walks around the ring yelling.

Charlie Haas is interviewed backstage. Haas talks about how Flair is on a seemingly coincidental losing streak. Flair has lost to Umaga and in the Fatal 4 Way for the past two weeks. Haas tells us he talked to Raw GM Jonathan Coachman earlier in the night and now he has a match at No Way Out against the Nature Boy! Haas is going to be taking on Flair in a Submission Match! Haas says it should be no problem since after all not only is the Suplex Specialist but he is the Submission Specialist as well!

We come back to see Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke backstage. Benjamin and Burke have their titles with them as they are talking about something. Benjamin says that he has it! He knows a great team name for them! Burke asks him what it is and Benjamin responds with…”The Golden Standards” (Yes I realize it’s what WWE is using for Benjamin but really I couldn’t think of any names so I think it fits fine since they are the champions and what not.) Burke thinks about it and he says that he loves it! Benjamin then tells Burke that they might have some competition since Coach has lined up a Tag Team Battle Royal for next week. The winner will then face the Golden Standards at the Raw Roulette episode on February 19.

Our main event takes place as Shawn Michaels goes one on one with the WWE Champion Randy Orton in what could have been Raw’s main event at WrestleMania 23. Orton and HBK get a bit of time to put on a good match but it seems as if that is going to go downhill since the World-Heavyweight Champion Edge is at ringside watching the match. Orton has the match going his way for a while until HBK was able to counter. Michaels dropped Orton with an Inverted Atomic Drop before hitting Orton right across the face with a big right elbow. HBK nipped up looking possibly for the Sweet Chin Music as he tuned up the band! HBK watched and waited for Orton to get back up! Orton turned around and at this time Edge slid into the ring! Edge charged at Michaels for a Spear after HBK missed the Sweet Chin Music but Michaels side stepped Edge and tossed Edge right into Orton! Orton falls down onto the mat as HBK chunks Edge to the outside! Michaels falls on top of Orton making the cover as he gets the win!

Edge slides into the ring with a steel chair, as HBK has no clue what is going on! Edge strikes HBK with the chair for the second week in a row on Raw! Edge is looking relentless with that chair as he hits HBK once again in the back! Edge lifts it up one more time but wait…its Jericho! Jericho comes to the aide of his tag partner at No Way Out! Edge slides out of the ring pulling Orton out with him who is barely standing right now. Ok as you can tell I had planned on writing Raw in full but came up busy this weekend. So yeah I just wanted it done and nixed so I can get No Way Out done with. So probably the next few shows up to NWO and including NWO are going to be recapped so we can get past that. I have little patience...

cena&torrierock's Review on RAW

Opening Promo: Very nicely written but I could tell that you rushed it. Anyway, I was actually expecting to see Michaels choose Orton as his Wrestlemania opponent but this is good. I mean, Michaels vs. Edge is bound to be a spectacular match. I also can't wait for the Main Event and the unveiling of Randy's opponent. I'd like it to not be John Cena but unfortunately, I have a feeling it will be.
Grade: 9.5/10

Melina & Victoria vs. Mickie & Maria: Good divas tag match. Hopefully you continue the feud between Mickie and Victoria. I was glad you didn't tease a Maria vs. Victoria fued, that would be horrid!
Grade: 8/10

Jeff Hardy Interview: It was a nice interview, especially with it being recapped. I'd like to see Hardy & Mickie vs. Carlito & Victoria for some reason, lol. I can't wait for their match, it sounds like it'll be a great and amazing match.
Grade: 8/10

Victoria & the Divas Backstage: This was very blah, to be honest. I was expecting Mickie to get into Victoria's face but this was the same-old, same-old generic stuff we hear.
Grade: 7/10

Jeff Hardy vs. Gregory Helms: I'm glad this wasn't too much of a squash match. I'm really glad when people have both wrestlers get enough offense in a squash match and have the wrestler that you're going to push get the clean win over someone experienced. It works better than going over someone like Funaki with three moves, IMO. I was expecting some sort of Carlito/Hardy physical interaction but I guess this works too.
Grade: 8/10

The Game Promo: Sounded really good and I'd really like to read it if you typed the full version out. It sounds incredible and I'm a bit bummed, after reading this promo, that the show was done in recap form.
Grade: 8.5/10

Fatal 4-Way Match: One word: fantastic! That has got to be one of the best match recaps I've read, lol. It was nicely written and I am so stoked that Jericho's going to Wrestlemania and not the steroid-injecting 5-year old Cena!
Grade: 9/10

Jonathan Coachman Promo: I can't exactly comment on this much seeing as he's just announcing matches for next week. But, if you have anyone other than Mickie or Torrie win the Divas Battle Royal, I will freak out! LMAO.
Grade: 10/10

Umaga vs. Eugene: The average squash that's seen way too much on TV. Blah!
Grade: 7.5/10

Charlie Haas Backstage: WOOT! Haas vs. Flair at No Way Out! I'm really glad you're pushing Charlie Haas, nobody ever does that.
Grade: 8/10

Golden Standards Backstage: A nicely written recap. I would've preferred seeing some sort of Tag Title Tournament rather than Battle Royals which we always see on TV these days, though.
Grade: 8/10

Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels: SPECTACULAR! FANTASTIC. WOW... just wow!! The match was sick! The aftermath sounded great too.
Grade: 10/10

Overall Grades:
Promos: 8.4/10
Matches: 8.5/10
Show: 8.5/10

There wasn't much I could comment on, honestly. I tried to not be too harsh with the grading but yeah. I guess recaps don't always work out well in your favor. Good job on the show, though.

I've missed a week or possibly two weeks, but hopefully I'll not have fallen too far behind with the whole scheme of things...

Opening promo was definately hit and miss. Some awful lines, that didnt have much inspiration imo, but there was glimpses of greatness too. Again, hit and miss, but I liked the surprise of Michaels picking Edge. HBK vs Edge > HBK vs Orton imo. Definately picked the right man to main event with HBK. As for the Raw #1 Contender ... hmm ... Cena appears to be wrapped up with Finlay atm, Flair would be cool, but hasnt had any type of momentum to get a main event, and HHH taking on Orton in a heel on heel match doesnt appeal whatsoever. I dont see you putting Jericho into the spot though either, so for the heck of it, I'll go for a disputed finish, and a triple threat with Orton vs Jericho vs HHH. However, it wouldnt surprise me to see Cena win, have his thing with Finlay wrapped up at No Way Out, then move on with Orton. I'll go with a triple threat though.

Mickie gets a win over Melina, and looks to be homing in on Victorias title. Mickie to win the #1 Contender match at a canter, then take the gold at WM.

I missed the last week or so, so I dont know what exactly the deal is with Hardy and Carlito. If it is building to a CCC heel turn, then it's all good .

Jeff then beats Gregory Helms, but has himself watched by Carlito throughout. God damn stalker.

Triple H with choice words for a certain Kurt Angle. . That scuppers my prediction for the Fatal Four Way then, doesnt it??

Indeed it does . Angle makes sure The Game doesnt progress, and it's a shocking win for Jericho!!! Nice to see Y2J back in the main event, as you've recently been slowly building him back into the fans favour. Still work to be done for him to be ultra over at WM, but it shouldnt be hard to do. It's Chris Jericho after all.

Raw Roulette is coming back . Two weeks time, along with a contract signing. Do we get a spin of the wheel to determine what type of contract signing it is . No?? Okay.

Squash win for Umaga. He'll keep running through weaker opponents I guess right upto his WM match with Taker (which he will win ... I hope).

Golden Standard. Why the hell not use it. I like it . Benjamin & Burke need more TV time though. They're too good a team not to have it.

Didnt expect Michaels to lose to Orton, and he didnt. Great finish for Michaels to win, and just as it looks as if Michaels will take a horrendous beating again ... it's Jericho!!! The Raw #1 Contender makes the save for his fellow #1 Contender, and gets the ball rollin for his feud with Orton. Great main event now for No Way Out, with former tag champions Rated RKO taking on former enemies in HBK & Y2J who have such a rich history. Great PPV match on the horizon to build WM.

Raw Feedback

This opening promo felt a little bit like it was doing nothing more than serving a purpose. That purpose being announcing who Shawn Michaels will be facing at WrestleMania. Edge was easily the most entertaining in this segment, as you write the cocky heel very well. Orton on the other hand ... was underwhelming and needs to up his game to be a bit more entertaining through to 'Mania, where I still se him retaining. Excellent choice with HBK heading over to SmackDown to face Edge. Michaels has great chemistry with both men but we've seen him go at it with Orton at S'Series, a grand stage, but we've never seen him go out with Edge on a grand stage. Odds are HBK will get the belt, but Edge needs to get it back soon after since he > Michaels 100% at this point of their careers. Michaels' lines felt a little bland here, but he was really only announcing his intentions so I'll let you off With Orton and HBK going one-on-one tonight, I think a No Contest would be the best result since neither man can really afford to lose face heading into 'Mania. As for the Four-Way tonight, as much as I love him, how the hell did Naitch get into that match?? Oh well, he ain't winning it, neither is Hunter {facing Kurt imo} or Cena {facing Finlay for sure}, so that just leaves one man, which makes me very, very, very happy

Building Mickie James as strong makes sense since you are probably building her up to challenge Victoria at 'Mania. There isn't really anyone else credible enough for Vicky to face in all honesty. I think a Triple Threat with Melina would have been nice, but she hasn't been booked as credible enough.

A bit of emphasis on Carlito's changing attitude? If you turn Carly heel I will love you CCC is so damn entertaining as a heel and can be pushed to the Main Event in that role. This is actually quite a nice feud with Jeff leading up to No Way Out and 'Mania {MITB for them both}, but I hope 'Lito gets the win in the Rubber Match and gets the title. He needs it after
