Default JLA Combat Wrestling

For some of you who might not know, I wrote JLA LiveWire a while back and it was a pretty successful show. I decided to stop writing as I had a lot of commitments and I didn’t have time to write the show. Suddenly, my calendar is wide open and I need something to do so I’m back. The show has been revamped and there is a little more organisation to the show. A new roster and a new feel is what have hopefully been achieved. The first show should hopefully be up by the end of the week, I’m hoping to come back with a bang so I want No Mercy to be the best it can be. In the case of reviews, I you write a review for my show I’ll write one for you. It’s a simple as that, you PM me when your new show is up and I’ll review the promos and the matches as you will do for me. I hope this show can be a successful as the last. The layout of the show is more coordinated and I would like to get the feel of a Japanese promotion. There will still be the same elaborate storylines but I would like the titles to really mean something. The real ages of wrestlers have been altered to fit in with the divisions but on the whole they are the same. There will be one show each week called “LiveWire” like always.

JLA Combat Wrestling
LiveWire

With TNA and WWE falling to the same fate a new federation was created. With the backing of various investors, Eric Bischoff was put in charge of the company. And the JLA was born.

Cruiserweight Division

You must forget everything you associate with the Cruiserweight Division. This is the JLA and are cruisers are as important as are heavyweights. Fast paced and unpredictable, this division will be the backbone of this company.

Ultimo Dragon- The masked legend will be fighting in the cruiserweight division alongside others as he shows his experience and expertise to capture the respected gold.

Tajiri- The Japanese Buzzsaw will be focused on winning the gold as his kicking will be used to deadly effects. Under the impression of Akio who he will be teaming with, Tajiri will be a force to be reckoned with.

Rey Mysterio- One of the smallest wrestlers in the JLA, Mysterio will have a lot to prove as he seeks for respect in the wide world of combat wrestling.

Akio – The man who will be teaming with Tajiri will also be looking for singles success as he uses his speed and agility to reach the top.

Billy Kidman- The punk kid known as Kidman will have something to prove as he challenges in one of the hardest divisions in the world of professional wrestling. Alone but talented the free soul will stay focused on any opponent he faces.

Jushin Liger- Ultimo Dragon is not the only Japanese Legend to appear in JLA as the respected athlete known as Jushin “thunder” Liger competes in the CW Division. Liger who reeks of experience and technical expertise will have to be the favourite to pick up the strap.

Taka Michinoku – The small frame of Taka will be a problem even in the CW division, but his speed and flexibility must be used for Taka to make problems for his opponents. Taka is favourite to drop down the ranks of the CW division but Michinoku is confident he can prove them wrong.

Psicosis – The masked Luchador is a threat to anyone, he is a multi cultural wrestler who can perform a Guillotine Leg Drop to perfection. A friendship with Rey Mysterio may help him greatly if he is to catch the illustrious Title.

European Division

This division is mainly for the athletes just breaking into the business. You can be from any country and be any nationality, the only thing you need is courage. The belt must be held with pride as you represent the whole of Europe and there fans that watch the JLA.

D’Lo Brown – The athlete is born for success as he as already achieved it in the world of American Football. The master of the frog splash has also got a good weight advantage as he weights in at 268lbs.

Gangrel – The vampire known as Gangrel is the head of a gothic group known as the Brood. As the leader of this up and coming group Gangrel will have a big advantage coming into the JLA.

The Hurricane – The Masked Superhero only weights in at 191 lbs qualifying him for the Cruiserweight Division, but Helms has earned himself a chance at the European Title which he opted for over the CW. His weight and size may be a disadvantage but The Hurricane’s heart is big and his will to survive is strong, who knows The Superhero may just cause an upset.

X Pac – Just like The Hurricane, X Pac is also the right weight to qualify for the CW Division. X Pac is well known for his cockiness and his luck of causing big upsets, so this may account for his participation in the European Division.

Edge – Also apart of the Brood, Edge will notably be teaming with his group brother Christian in the Tag Team Division. Edge’s talent is easily shown and his spear and Edgecution will be vital in his singles success.

Christian – As noted Christian is part of the cult group the Brood and is teaming with Edge. Just like his other Brood members Christian is part of the European Division in singles action also. Who knows the mysterious figure may make some big wins and just catch the strap. With all members of the Brood competing in the same division, who knows what, will occur?

Justin Credible – The wildcard of the bunch. Credible is a hardcore wrestler but is also a great technical athlete who can pull off big wins if needed. “That’s Incredible” will be the move that will give Justin the advantage amongst some of his opponents and most think he will need it if he is to make his mark in the JLA.

Perry Saturn – As part of Raven’s Flock, Saturn will want success for his friends. His experience will be vital and with Raven and Kanyon just to name a few by his side, Perry will have a huge advantage.

Intercontinental Division

The prestigious IC Championship is second to the World Title but invaluable at the least. Many of the greats have strived to hold the strap and many have failed. The belt is coveted by many in the business and some believe it’s the stepping stone to the big one.

Raven – The leader of the Flock is more experienced in the Hardcore Style of wrestling and some believe the transition to the IC division will be a failure. Who knows, Raven could drop down to the pits of the IC Ranks and will his Flock follow?

Kanyon – Another member of the Flock, Kanyon is a hard working and talented individual who will give a 100% in all of his matches. With the pride of the Flock to hold Kanyon will have a lot of pressure bearing on his shoulders?

Eddie Guerrero – The Lucha Libre Legend has tons of experience and this will be used to it’s full. A favourite to win the belt, Eddie will not take anyone likely and with his Frog Splash on hold at anytime, anyone can be in danger.

Chris Benoit – The Rabid Wolverine is known as the greatest technical wrestler in the JLA and the world. Benoit’s Crippler Crossface can be executed at anytime and his deadly German suplexes can put any man away. Another favourite to win the title and fans will love to see it happen.

Tazz – The suplex machine can use his pure aggression to win anyone. The man from the Red Hook District will face anyone without fear and usually strikes most onto his opponents.

Rikishi – The Big Samoan’s size has to be a big advantage, and at 500lbs it will be hard for anyone to beat him.

Jeff Jarret – The experienced Jarret will have a lot to prove after the demise of TNA, and by going it alone who knows how long he will last? One thing is for sure, Jarret is willing and capable and whoever he faces will have a tough challenge.

William Regal – The proud Englishman is still as pompous and arrogant as always but his technical style is still as strong as ever. His European style will be a shock to some and this will give Regal the edge.

Booker T – The Harlem born Booker is a talented young athlete who is a favourite with the crowd. His spinerooni may not help him win matches but his Book End and Houston Hangover will.

Tag Team Division

Some may say it’s the hardest Division to wrestle in. Your dependence and trust in your partner is vital and forgiveness is a must. The Tag Team Gold must be won by team work and talent, who will win?

The Dudley Boys – Some may argue the greatest team in the history of pro wrestling. One thing is for sure the Dudley’s sure have the edge to win the Tag Team Gold.

The Hardy Boys – The most extreme team in the JLA, some say they fear nothing and no one. The only thing that drives The Hardy’s to do these insane stunts is the thought of the belts.

Edge and Christian – The two members of The Brood are so called Blood Brothers, and there gothic ways can be strange to some. The only thing that isn’t unknown about Edge and Christian is there talent and will to win.

The Lucha Coalition – Super Crazy and Juventud Guerrera have shied away from the Cruiserweight Division to compete in Tag Team action. Who knows how long this team will last, the lure of singles competition will be strong for both stars. One thing we all know though is that this team will be strong enough to withstand any competition.

Akio and Tajiri – With both these stars competing in the CW Division some may question there ability to work as a team whilst competing against each other. There singles responsibility may get in the way of there Tag Team careers.

Too Cool – Allying themselves with Rikishi will be a bonus for these two up and comers. There strange antics may not work in there favour but some believe they could cause an upset.

World Division

The talismans of the JLA all compete for the World Title. Some of the greatest superstars in the world of professional wrestling compete in this division. Every star strives to reach the World Division let alone win the Title itself. Whoever manages the mammoth task will be kept in the JLA History books and there names will be associated with Champion.

Sting – Emerging from the rafters, Sting is a fan favourite who’s Scorpion Deathlock can make any man tap. Injuries sustained in TNA will cause him to miss the first month of JLA LiveWire.

Triple H – The Game is known for his deadly Pedigree and his determination to succeed. Even though hated by millions the only thing that matters for Hunter is the World Title.

Kurt Angle – The Olympic Gold medallist is top notch competitor who will keep have his hands full in this division. Most believe he can do it, and with his excellent reputation and his amateur background who can blame them.

The Undertaker – The American Badd Ass is one of the biggest competitors in the JLA. A favourite to win the Title, and fans would love to see it happen.

Chris Jericho – The lightest superstar in the World Division, but with Jericho’s cocky attitude you wouldn’t know it. His personality is not well taken by the fans but Y2J only cares about one thing…The World Title.

Default Re: JLA Combat Wrestling

JLA No Mercy

JR – Folks….We are finally here. The first show of JLA Combat Wrestling is finally here, it's No Mercy.

Jerry Lawler – Your right JR and I can’t wait… let’s get the first match started.

D’Lo Brown vs. X Pac vs. Justin Credible – European Title

JLA Analyses.

X Pac – Hated by fans and wrestlers alike, X Pac’s cockiness sometimes overshadows his ability. One thing is for sure, X Pac’s kicks can be pulled off freely and his speed and agility will be a key factor of he is to win this match.

D’Lo Brown – The heaviest of the three D’Lo will want to get his JLA career of to a great start. Brown has held the European Title on numerous occasions in the late WWF/E, so Brown knows what it’s like to hold the strap.

Justin Credible – The Hardcore specialist will have to change his tactics is he is to win this triple threat. With the fans behind him, Credible will need to keep focused especially against his ex WWE/F partner X Pac.

D’Lo Brown is the first to enter the ring. The crowd chant his name in unison as Brown struts through the ropes. Brown looks focussed as he climbs to the second rope causing cheers from the crowd.

“Are You Ready” X Pac is next to enter as the mood suddenly changes dramatically. X Pac comes into view and the crowd retaliate with chants of “X Pac Sucks.” The fans verbal abuse doesn’t affect X Pac as he does the crotch chop frequently to every passer by.

Justin Credible’s music hits the airwaves as the fans jump to there feet. “ECW, ECW, ECW” can be heard throughout the arena as Credible walks to the squared circle accompanied with a Kendo Stick.

MATCH

All three men stand in the ring before the bell sounds. All stand motionless before X Pac makes the first move by striking D’Lo Brown with a right hook. Credible stands and watches as D’Lo and X Paz exchange punches. X Pac gets the upper hand before connecting with a straight toe kick to the mid section. A forearm to the back causes Brown to gasp for air as X Pac takes advantage by hitting a DDT. D’Lo’s head crashes into the canvass as X Pac spring to his feet with the sounds of jeers mounting. Credible sees an opening and takes it well by striking X Pac with a stiff lariot knocking X to the floor. An almighty roar takes place from the crowd as X Pac stumbles to a vertical base only to be hits a spinning wheel kick by Credible. Once again X Pac finds himself on the floor nursing his head were Justin’s heel connected. D’Lo Brown manages to find stablility before going for Credible. X Pac is quick to break the pin by stomping on the back of Credible’s head. Justin hits back by jumping to his feet and connecting with a left hook. The force of the punch has Pac stumbling before being hit with a toe kick to the gut setting him up for a snap suplex. The force of the move causes X Pac to arch his back in pain trying to reduce to shooting agony that consumes his back. Credible uses this to his advantage as he pulls X Pac to his feet before Irish whipping him into the turnbuckle. Credible leaves X Pac to linger before running with momentum towards him planting an elbow into his skull. The impact of the blow causes Justin Credible to punch X Pac onto the top rope as he tries to regain focus. Credible follows X Pac to the top connecting with a swift right hand to soften his opponent up. The crowd watch with anticipation as Credible tries for a superplex, the first attempt fails but the second is much better as X Pac is pulled head down before crashing into the canvass with an almighty thud.

JR- A superplex, good God almighty that has to hurt.

Credible jumps to his feet to show off the crowd who react with cheers and applause. Justin’s celebrations last too long as D’lo gets to his feet immediately surprising Credible with a forearm to the back of the head. This is followed up with a belly to belly suplex which is pulled off to perfection as D’lo rises to his feet. Before hyping up the crowd D’lo begins to climb the turnbuckle all the way to the top rope. Credible has a burst of life as he gets to his feet quickly running towards the ropes. Credible falls into the top rope causing D’lo to crash down onto the turnbuckle. D’lo gasps for air before falling onto the canvass holding his crotch for dear life. Credible pulls the gasping D’lo up to his feet before throwing him over the top rope. Brown crashes to the outside mat with an almighty thud as the crowd watch with squinted eyes. Credible and X Pac are left in the ring with Justin looking in the better shape. X Pac slowly gets to his feet only to be hit with a side walk slam by Credible who follows up with a leg drop after rebounding off the second rope causing a huge vertical leap and more force into the leg drop. X Pac holds onto his throat as he writhes in pain before being dragged to his feet once again by Credible. The ex ECW star hits a standing dropkick on his opponent connecting with sheer might to the chest. The impact of the blow causes X Pac to fall hard into the turnbuckle. With X Pac immobile by the turnbuckle Credible takes and chance and pushes him to the top rope once again. Credible stands on the second rope with his face towards the dazed X Pac. After one deep breath Credible springs into the air and catches his opponent’s neck, completing a hurricarana off the top rope. The crowd rise to there feet in cheers before chanting Credible’s name aloud. Justin surprises most by not making the pin, but opting to climb the turnbuckle once again. Credible looks dead towards X Pac who lays motionless on the canvass and a high flying move looks imminent. Instead Credible shock nearly every soul in the arena by jumping he opposite and connecting with a Plancha on the now standing D’lo who is outside the ring. Both men fall in a clatter with D’lo getting the worse of the two. Once again Credible’s name is chanted aloud as he slowly makes his way to his feet.

JR- Justin Credible in on fire. X Pac and D’lo haven’t had a chance to make there mark in this match due to Credible’s amazing start.

Jerry Lawler – If this keeps going the way it is, you may as well write Credible’s name on that European Title.

Justin Credible rolls back into the ring leaving D’lo Brown motionless on the outside mat. Credible looks tired but eager for more as he hits a DDT on X Pac whose head smashes violently with the canvass. Credible quickly hooks X Pac’s right leg as the crowd gasp with anticipation

The crowd get what they want as D’lo Brown pulls off a running powerbomb to perfection. Credible’s back smashes with the canvass and even his already injured head suffers more damage.

JR- Good God, Credible may had suffered a concussion after that King.

Jerry Lawler- You might be right JR, D’lo Brown may have just got into this match but he has certainly made his mark!

D’lo stands over the head of Credible and after an elaborate show of hand movements hits the leg drop. Credible gasps for air as he rolls out of the ring looking a lot worse off than he once did. D’lo leaves him to linger as X Pac gets to his feet, Brown throws a right hand towards X who blocks it well and goes for a left hook immediately after. JR- He’s done it. Justin Credible has won the European Title!!!

Justin Credible releases X Pac and goes to his knees with his mouth wide open in shock. X Pac looks even worse as he realises the outcome of the match before finally rolling out of the ring in shame. D’lo still looks dazed as he listens to Lillian Garcia’s announcement of the winner. Justin Credible is handed the European by the official as he still lies on his knees in amazement. The fans still chant Credible’s name aloud as he celebrates his victory and his newly won European Title.

Winner – Justin Credible – New European Champion

JR- What a way to kick of No Mercy, Justin Credible winning the European Title,

Jerry Lawler- I still can’t believe it JR. X Pac was robbed, he had that match won!!!

JR- Well you have your opinion King and I’m sure a lot of people disagree with you. Anyway lets get on with the show folks, next we’ve got the first semi final of the World Title Tourney with Kurt Angle going against Chris Jericho.

Jerry Lawler- I have a good feeling about this match folks, whoever wins this match will qualify for the final and you know what happens after that.

JR- I think we all know King so lets get on with it.

Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle –Semi Final

JLA Analyses-

Kurt Angle – The Olympic Gold Medallist will have to stay agile to keep up with the agile Jericho. With both these men submission specialists, endurance will have to be at it’s best. This match will be to close to call, but if Angle can keep Jericho down on the mat he may just edge it over his opponent.

Chris Jericho – The cocky Y2J will have to keep a clear head if he is too last the distance. With his temper short he will have to control himself against a seasoned veteran like Angle. Jericho will want to use his speed to it’s full and his high flying ability if needed.

Chris Jericho’s music hits the airwaves causing a sudden reaction of boos and jeers. The abuse bounces right off Jericho who looks as smug as ever as he struts to the ring. After flexing his muscles on the second rope Jericho limbers up as he waits for his opponent.

Kurt Angle’s music hits and the usual chant occurs “You Suck.” The Olympic Gold medallist looks confident as he enters the squared circle keeping a clear eye on Jericho.

Match

Both men begin the match by circling the ring keeping there eyes locked as they hook up. Angle quickly bows out and falls to his knees quickly snatching the right leg causing Jericho to fall flat on his back. Angle is quick to jump on Jericho as he gets the head in a tight head lock. Angle tries to wear Y2J down as quickly as possible by cutting of the oxygen to the head. Y2J has different plans as he slowly rises to his feet before planting elbow after elbow to the gut of Kurt, after the third blow Angle finally releases the hold. Jericho runs off the ropes and looks for a clothesline on Angle which is ducked as Kurt retaliated with a neck breaker on the reverse. Angle is quick to once again lock the head in a head lock. After nearly one minute of the submission Angle releases the hold and snap mares Jericho and pulls off a chin lock immediately after. Jericho’s neck is arched backwards in an awkward position until Angle finally releases the hold. Kurt is quick to get back to work after taunting the fans by hitting a back drop suplex on Jericho before making the pin

Jericho raises his shoulder off the canvass to stop the count. Angle immediately locks the arm in an arm bar submission.

JR- Angle is doing a great job of keeping Jericho immobile with all these submissions.

Jerry Lawler- What did you expect JR, Angle’s an Olympic Gold medallist he knows what he’s doing.

Angle keeps the arm bar locked in for a good 2 minutes before releasing the hold opting to lock the head once again in a head lock. Angle keeps a tight grasp around Jericho’s head making sure not too keep his arms slack. Jericho slowly rises to his feet once again and manages to push Angle into the ropes as he rebounds straight into dropkick from Y2J. The kick connects well with the chin of Angle who falls hard to the canvass. Jericho takes a while to focus after the lengthy head lock as Angle gets to a vertical base. Kurt looks for a right hand which is ducked as Jericho retaliates with a left followed by a drop toe hold. Angle’s face smashes into the canvass with force as Jericho runs off the ropes and connects with a knee drop to the back of the head. Jericho pulls Angle to his feet and hits a toe kick to the mid section followed by a snap suplex. Angle arches his back in pain before being hit with a leg drop by his opponent who taunts the crowd soon after getting a negative response. Jericho gets back to the match by hitting a scoop slam on Angle who rolls straight up to his feet only to be hits with an inzigure kick to the back of the head. Angle drops to the floor in a heap as Jericho pulls him back up straight, after a kick to the gut Jericho kits a DDT which is followed up with a pin.

Jericho disappoints the crowd by kicking out. Both stars rise quickly to there feet looking to get the first offensive move. Jericho looks for a lariat which is ducked; Angle tries for a left hook which Jericho does well to block. Jericho tries for a left which connects with the cheek bone of Angle, the shot takes Kurt by surprise as he stumbles to the ropes. Jericho sees an opportunity and runs with momentum towards Kurt who still looks dazed. Suddenly Kurt ducks and pushes Jericho over the top rope. Y2J lands hard on the outside mat as Kurt taps his head with a smile on his face.

Jerry Lawler- Yes. That’s how you do it JR. Kurt played possum and now he’s in control of the match. Take tips JR you could learn something.

Angle begins to climb the ropes. At first glance Angle looks likely to taunt the crowd until he jumps a huge vertical leap in the direction of Jericho. Kurt crashes onto his opponent with a huge amount of force as the crowd rise to there feet in uproar. The high risk manoeuvre looks to have hurt Kurt as well as Jericho as he holds his stomach in pain. The referee makes it to 7 as he makes the count from inside the ring when Angle manages to push the dazed Jericho into the ring following him immediately after. Angle hooks the leg still looking hurt from the cross body as the ref makes the cont

Jericho raises his shoulder a fraction off the canvass causing groans of disappointment from all around the arena.

JR- It’s strange King, because Angle is wrestling Jericho the fans seem to be by his side. They may not like him all that much but I guess when your up against Jericho you don’t look that bad.
Jerry Lawler- Your right JR, the fans hate Jericho so much that whoever he faces suddenly becomes adored, even if it is Angle.

Angle gets to his feet and pulls Jericho with him as he manages to pull off a belly to belly overhead suplex perfectly. Angle gets to his feet as Jericho stumbles to a vertical base looking in a bad state. Angle grabs the chest of Y2J and hits a belly to belly suplex smashing Jericho’s frail back into the canvass. Kurt’s adrenalin builds with every suplex so goes for a vertical as soon as he gets Jericho off the ground. Jericho’s is pulled straight up right as his head looks down on the canvass. Kurt’s muscles flex as he holds Jericho for over half a minute before dropping hard to the ground. Y2J arches his back in sheer pain before being pinned to the ground.

Jericho once again kicks out to Angle’s disappointment. Jericho looks in bad condition as Angle pulls him to his feet. Angle once again goes for a vertical suplex which Jericho pushes out of landing on his feet behind the stunned Angle. Jericho takes his chance and hits an inverted DDT. Kurt’s head smashes with the canvass with force as Jericho stays on the canvass breathing heavily. Finally Jericho and Angle show movement as they slowly make there way to a vertical base. Angle looks for a right hand which is blocked and Jericho immediately sweeps the legs of Angle as he tries for the Walls Of Jericho. The crowd rise to there feet to get a better view as Y2J tries his best to turn Angle onto his chest. Kurt is resilient as he uses his leg strength to battle out of the move. Jericho will is too strong and after minutes of trying he finally completes the submission. Angle face shows deep signs of pain as he tries to reach the ropes. Jericho leans further and further back causing more damage to the back of Angle who still tries to scramble to the ropes. With the submission being held in the middle of the ring, Angle’s chances looks slim. Jericho’s determination to keep his opponent immobile is strong, as is Kurt’s will to find refuge at the ropes. Slowly Angle edges closer and closer towards the ropes with a sheer amount of pain shooting up and down his back. The ropes slowly come into Angle’s view as he stretches his right arm out to full length. Angle looks certain to reach the ropes after minutes of pain and suffering until Jericho drags him back into the middle of the ring. Ultimo Dragon is out for the count on the outside mat as Jushin Liger stands inside the ring adjusting his slowly splitting mask. With one last gasp Jushin leaps once again, this time a frog splash is imminent. The crowd watch in amazement as Jushin Liger glides through the air like a circus performer. But Liger doesn't have a safety net he has a human being to fall upon. Liger releases his arms and stretches them at full length looking to fall with force onto his opponent. Liger does fall at force but sadly only onto the announcers table. Ultimo quickly rolled off the table escaping the impending blow. Jushin Liger lands on the announcers table which breaks through resulting in Liger's head to smack with full force to the ground. Ultimo slowly gets to his feet and rolls into the ring. Ligers face comes into view as his mask is nothing more than a piece of loose thread hanging around his neck. After numerous seconds he rolls back onto the outside mat and pulls the lifeless body of Jushin Liger back into the ring. Ultimo follows him into the squared circle and immediately makes the pin.

Somehow Liger raises his shoulder a fraction away from the canvass. The crowd stare in amazement as Ultimo stares in disbelief. Ultimo finally falls to the ground in exhaustion, as the referee begins the count. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 Ultimo slowly makes his way to his feet and immediately drops an elbow to the back of Jushin Liger. He grabs Liger's legs, pushing the right as far back as possible and placing his right arm through the triangle shape pulling hard and pulling upwards. A Texas cloverleaf is made, a submission made famous by the likes of Dean Malinko. Liger groans in pain as his back is bent in an inhumane way, Ultimo doubles the pain when he falls even more back finally sitting on Jushin Liger's back, keeping a firm grasp on his opponents legs. Liger writhes in agony as he tries to make his way to the ropes. The bottom sienna rope feels like a mile away, even when Jushin reaches out his right arm at full length. Nevertheless Jushin Liger doesn't quit as he forces his way closer and closer to the rope, his expression shows immense pain with the blood still oozing out of his forehead. The crowd sit with wide eyes willing Jushin Liger on. The crowds support helps Liger edge in closer towards the ropes, with the gash on his forehead spitting more blood over his eyes. Finally Liger manages to pull himself inches towards the ropes. With his arm outstretched Liger can smell the ropes, he needs just one more inch to grasp salvation. Then with all his strength he is pulled away from the ropes, Ultimo keeps Jushin's legs locked tightly as he pushes his way towards the centre of the ring. Liger sees the ropes fade away and his pain mounting to unbelievable highs. His vision is impaired with tiny red spots as his face turns the same colour as his attire. Jushin raises his arm as the official looks over intently; slowly Liger's hand is lowered to the canvass. The fans begin to cheer even louder trying to keep Liger going. Liger's hand nearly reaches the canvass until he shoots the hand back up, the crowd cheer with an almighty roar. The fans are adamant that Liger will power through when they begin to chant his name. Jushin once again tries to make to the ropes after his failed attempts to push Ultimo out of the submission. Liger slowly makes his way towards the ropes until Ultimo once again pulls him back to the centre. The gash on his forehead widens as more blood pours out like wildfire. His hand begins to shake with aggression as the fans believe Liger will somehow escape from the submission. Suddenly Ligers hand smacks the canvass with might as he begins to tap. The fans fall back on there seats as the bell rings, there sadness is plainly shown in there expressions as they cant believe the result. Ultimo releases the submission and falls to his knees, his hand is raised by the referee as the winner. Ultimo is in shock, as he celebrates in the ring, he stumbles towards the turnbuckle and climbs to the second rope. The fans respect what Ultimo has accomplished tonight but are disappointed that there hero has lost. Ultimo stumbles towards the backstage after his celebration, with a smile spread eagle across his face. Liger is seen to by EMT's as a stretcher is brought into the ring. The officials and medical staff try to help Jushin onto the stretcher until he shrugs away. Liger after some time manages to get to his feet, he stumbles onto the ropes before finding balance. He stands and raises his arm as the fans erupt in a crowd of cheers.

Eddie quickly gets to his feet only to be hit with another clothesline by Benoit as the fans cheer his name aloud. Eddie once again gets to a vertical base this time Benoit completes a right hand to the face of Eddie followed by a toe kick to the mid section followed by a snap suplex. The force and speed that suplex contains is unimaginable considering Benoit’s condition. This soon catches up to him as he lies stranded on the canvass breathing heavily along with Eddie. After what seems like an eternity Benoit and Eddie slowly rise to there feet. Eddie is quick to react to Benoit’s presence and goes for a stiff lariat which is well ducked by Benoit immediately clutches Eddie’s waist in what seems like desperation. Desperation is the wrong assumption as Eddie completes a German Suplex followed by another,

JR- I wouldn’t say that King, Benoit looks alright to me Eddie on the other hand is a different story.

Benoit completes a third and finall German suplex to perfection and once again both men stay glued to the canvass. The crowd watch intenty as both men try desperately to get to there feet. Booker climbs the ropes soon after all the way to the top and measures his opponent up. After what seems like hours of anticipation the climax is superb as Booker T pulls of a Houston Hangover.

JR- Good God Almighty. We’ve not seen that move in a long time King and what a move it is.

Jerry Lawler- I know JR. That last time I saw that was at Vengeance 2002 against the Big Show.

He shakes it off quickly and drops a solid elbow to the chest of Benoit who gasps for air soon after. Booker then pulls Benoit up and Irish whips him into the ropes setting him up for what looks like a big boot. Booker T manages to somehow kick out as the fans jump to there feet and chant his name aloud.

JR- These fans are torn in two. They don’t know who to cheer for King.

Jerry Lawler- I know one thing JR, they aren’t cheering for that man Tazz that’s for damn sure.

Both men get to there feet looking beaten and tired. Booker T lands a right hand followed by a left, the punches fly faster with each passing second. Booker T looks in control unitll Booker’s right hook is caught and yanked hard to the ground setting him up fort he crippler cross face. The crowd rise to there feet as Booker’s neck and head are pulled backwards in an inhumane way.

JR- The Crippler Crossface!!!

Jerry Lawler – They are in the centre of the ring JR! How the hell is Booker gonna get out of this?

Booker looks in grave danger as Benoit mercilessly wenches his head further and back causing even more pain to the already injured soul. Booker T chants are throughout the arena trying to will him on until the chants of “Tap Out” overpowers them. The fans are at a crossroads for whom to cheer for as Benoit veins begin to bulge in the temple of his head. Booker T tries desperately to get to the ropes but to no avail. The task is a mammoth one at fresh but Booker is sadly broken down. Booker’s hand slowly rises into mid air as the fans stare desperately at the outcome. The crippler crossface is kept tight as it has been for the past three minutes and Booker’s hand begins to shake in pain and frustration. Benoit arches his back even further back causing even more damage to Booker who’s hand comes even closer to the canvass. The fans chants die down as they watch intently at these two brave superstars in the middle of the JLA ring. [The five minute mark reaches and Booker’s fate is sealed as his hand smacks the canvass over and over again causing Benoit to release the hold.

JR- Benoit did it he made Booker T tap.

Jerry Lawler- He’s not done yet JR there is still Tazz to go yet.

Benoit rises to his feet with both arm up in the air as Booker rolls out of the ring a defeated man. Benoit is oblivious to Tazz’s presence until it is too late.

JR- The Tazzmission, Taz has it locked in.

Jerry Lawler – I told you it wasn’t over JR, now Benoit has to tap.

The crowd are as shocked as Benoit as Tazz clutches Benoit’s waist with his legs whilst ravaging the neck of Benoit. The future looks bleak for the Rabid Wolverine as he tries to take precious gulps of air whilst trying to stay conscious. The crowd begin to chant Benoit’s name now there is no confusion for whom to cheer for. Tazz looks like he’s enjoying the pain he is dishing out as Benoit groins in pain whilst trying somehow to make it to the ropes. Tazz is positioned on his back with Benoit arched over him until Benoit somehow manages to turn onto his stomach leaving Tazz crouching over him without the added advantage of his legs around his waist.

JR- This will give Benoit an advantage as Tazz’s legs are no longer keeping him immobile whilst cutting off the oxygen.

Jerry Lawler – That’s fine JR, but Benoit has already taken three minutes of this devasting move not mentioning the past 20 to 25 minutes of this match.

JR- Good point King, if Benoit does free himself from this submission it will still be a mammoth task to beat Tazz.

Benoit looks is a bad state as Tazz mercilessly keeps the tazmission locked in. The chants of “Benoit” grow even stronger as he balances on his knees and then ever so slowly rises further and further north. Tazz shakes his head in disbelief as Benoit gets to his feet.

Jerry Lawler – How the hell is Chris Benoit doing this?

The Tazzmission is still locked in tight unitll Benoit bends forward catching Tazz’s head causing Tazz to flip over Benoit thus freeing the Rabid Wolverine from the submission. The crowd are in celebration as Tazz stumbles to his feet in shock, the adrenalin begins to fuel Benoit as he connects with a dropkick to the chest of Tazz who stumbles into the ropes and rebounding straight off into a belly to belly overhead suplex. Benoit can barely stand but the thought of holding that Intercontinental Title keeps him steady and strong. Tazz is all over the place as he gets up and isn’t helped when Benoit connects with a toe kick to the chest followed by a snap suplex. The suplex gives Benoit an added boost and decides to go for the high risk manoeuvre. Slowly he manages to get to the top rope causing one hell of a pop from the crowd. Tazz is barely moving as Benoit leaps into the air like an eagle searching for its prey. The rabid wolverine’s arms out at full length before his head crashes into the collar bone of Tazz who violently shakes with pain.

JR – He connected Benoit connected with the Flying Headbut, shade of the Dynamite Kid as Benoit makes the pin!!!

The crowd shout along with the count as Benoit looks certain to pick up the victory.

The crowd sit back in there chairs with disappointment clearly written amongst the arena of frowns and in some case tears from the youth that would die to see Benoit win. The Rabid Wolverine falls to his back as he breathes heavily trying to find the strength to carry on. It takes a while but he finally does as slowly but surely makes it to a vertical base. Tazz follows at an even slower pace but doesn’t show this as he swings with might towards Benoit who catches the arm and tries to force Tazz to the floor. This is harder than Benoit thinks and doesn’t materialise at all when Tazz takes a stiff kick to the gut of Benoit causing him to release the arm and leave Tazz free to lock in his second Tazzmission of the match.

JR- Not again.

Jerry Lawler – Yes JR, you might as well call this match now and send Benoit home because Tazz is are new Intercontinental Champion. Yes!!!

Benoit is forced to the floor as Tazz’s legs consume his waist making it even harder for the Rabid Wolverine to breath. Benoit’s head is jerked left and right as Tazz’s face shows deep signs of concentration as he dishes out even more pain to the already broken Benoit. The crowd will Benoit on with chants of his name growing louder with every passing second. Sadly for Benoit the pain becomes more intense with every passing second as well. Once again Benoit digs deep inside and manages to turn onto his stomach once again looking to power out of the Tazzmission. Tazz has different plans as he uses his weight to turn onto his back whilst keeping the submission locked in tight. Benoit’s future looks bleak as his hand looks likely to tap at any second. This isn’t the case as Benoit’s hand doesn’t tap but falls limp in mid air. The senior official Earl Hebner checks and signals the bell.

JR- What….I think Benoit is unconscious folks.

Jerry Lawler – I think he is JR.

This is confirmed as Tazz releases the hold leaving a shut eyed Benoit immobile in the middle of the ring. EMT’s rush straight to the scene and take Benoit to the backstage on a stretcher with the faces of each and every fan in the arena the same. Tazz is overjoyed as he is given the prestigious Intercontinental belt with the chants of “You Suck” growing stronger.

JR- I can’t believe it after all of that Tazz comes out victorious!

Jerry Lawler – What do you mean JR? Tazz won the match fair and square. No one thought he could do it but he showed them. Now we have are first Intercontinental Champion crowned and I personally can’t think of anyone better to hold it that are very own Tazz.

JR- Well I can King and can think of quite a few people.

Winner – Tazz – Intercontinental Champion

JR- Well folks it time for are main event and this will decide who is the first JLA World Champion.

Jerry Lawler – Oh this one’s gonna be good JR I can feel it.

Triple H vs. Kurt Angle – World Title Match

JLA Analyses –

Triple H – The master of the pedigree lives for the World Title. The biggest prize in the game will be calling Triple H and The Game will do anything to achieve success, even if it’s against Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle – The Olympic Gold Medallist certainly has the pedigree to win this type of match. Along with Triple H, Angle has been in a lot of high profile matches and has won fare few of them himself. With his Ankle lock on hold along with his pattered Olympic Slam, Angle will need his stamina to win this match.

MATCH

Both men stare at each other intently making sure not to blink an eye. Defeat even at this would be a failure to both men. Angle and The Game hook up for a split second before breaking up. Once again the stare off begins. Angle is ready for another and so is his opponent as they hook up once again in a test of strength. Both are evenly matched until Angle gains the upper hand, Triple H senses trouble and backs out just in time. Angle looks frustrated but shrugs it off opting for the clear head instead of revenge. Both men begin to circle the ring shaking off any stiffness in there arms as they proceed. The anticipation around the sold out arena is at boiling point and both men know that a good start is vital in the outcome of this match. The crowd are on the edge of there seats even though a move or a punch has not been made. Beads of sweat seem to profusely drench the forehead of both competitors, not due to the heat but for the mammoth task that awaits them both. Angle quicken up the pace and begins to jog around the ring causing Triple H to do the same. Angle punces forwards trying hard to snatch the Game’s legs but to no avail. Triple H dodges the blow and drops down quickly locking the head tightly in head lock submission. Kurt rises quickly to his feet and picks Triple H up and a back drop suplex looks imminent. The Game manages to push put of the move flipping backwards onto his feet and landing well. He clutches the waist of Angle who is taken by surprise of the quick reversal of the move. Triple H pushes Angle into the turnbuckle with his arms still securely wrapped around Angle’s waist causing The Olympic Gold medallist to crash with force into the JLA turnbuckle. Triple H isn’t done there a he uses the momentum he as already built up to pull off a pin by falling backwards and taking his opponent with him resulting in Triple H resting on the outstretched legs of Kurt who tries desperately to kick out.

*

Kurt manages to kick out of the first pin of the match whilst pushing Triple H into the ropes. Luckily for him Triple H lands just before the ropes and not over them. Kurt springs over into a vertical base and looks to surprise Triple H with a clothesline. Triple H is ready for him and ducks the impending blow pulling off a hip toss in the process. Kurt goes flying over The Games shoulders and over the ropes landing on the apron by grasping the top rope when landing. Triple H is prepared for this and turns with his fist gripped pulling off a hard right hook knocking Kurt in cheekbone. Angle manages to cling onto the ropes keeping him on the apron but not for long. Triple H takes Kurt’s momentary state into consideration and hooks the head by pulling off a vertical suplex over the ropes and crashing into the hard unforgiving canvass. Kurt arches his back in pain as Triple H quickly grasps the chin completing a standard chin lock. With Kurt immobile Triple H has time to plan out his next move. Kurt knows he’s not got off the best of starts and Triple H reverts to sleeper hold trying hard to weaken Kurt early on in the match.

Jerry Lawler –This is a good move by Triple H, you see he’s cutting off the air supply of Angle weakening him early on in the match.

Triple H is comfortable but knows he can’t keep the sleeper in forever so decides on releasing the hold. A stiff elbow drop is quickly pulled off to the chest as Kurt gets to his feet soon after. Triple H is quick to pull off the toe kick to the guy followed by the Game quickly wrenching the arm into an arm bar. With HHH standing behind his opponent the arm is given extra leverage causing slightly more pain the Kurt. Triple H is wary of Angle’s vertical position and forces his head between the arm that has already taken much punishment by Triple H who pulls off a back drop suplex. Kurt’s higher back and lower neck are forced into the canvas with a fair amount of force as Triple drops another elbow to the chest.

Jerry Lawler – Triple H is on control and he knows it, this is were The Game is at his best.

Hunter grabs the leg and foot of Angle and begins to stomp viscously over and over again connecting with the higher part of Kurt’s right leg. Angle tries to move but can’t and the attack only stops when Triple H falls onto the knee dropping the elbow to the thigh and locking in an Achilles hold straight after. Angle groans in pain as Triple H mercilessly stretches the tendons in Kurt’s leg causing friction in the Achilles. Triple H pulls out of the submission and pulls Kurt to his feet catching him with a chop to the chest with the usual Rick Flair chant’s from the crowd occurring soon after. Triple H Irish whips Kurt into the ropes setting Angle up for a flying knee into the guy of Kurt who flips forward with the momentum of the knee causing pain also to the back along with the mid section. Triple H is in control and pulls Kurt to his feet scoop slamming him soon after and dropping a big knee to the head of Angle. Kurt holds his forehead for dear life as he checks for signs of blood luckily for there isn’t. Kurt stands up only to be caught by Triple H who pulls off a back breaker with force causing Angle to crumble to the floor arching his back trying to relieve the shooting pain that consumes him. The fans seem to warm to Kurt as they begin to chant his name in unison as Triple H looks on in disgust. The Game vents his frustration with the crowd on Angle as he hits another knee drop this time to the collar bone. Angle is in danger as he has not pulled off any offensive move in a long time and Triple H grows in confidence with each passing minute. Hunter pulls Kurt to his feet and hits a right hook to the chin of his opponent followed by a left and another right the blows soften The Olympic Gold Medallist up for another Irish whip this time into the turnbuckle. Kurt’s head snaps back with the force of connection keeping him immobile in by the turnbuckle. Triple H takes this into account and runs with force towards Kurt who pushes onto the top rope and stretches both legs out at full length catching Triple square in the face. The kick takes the Game by surprise as he stumbles backwards setting him up for a stiff lariat by Kurt who surprisingly gets applause from the huge crowd. Triple H soon gets up and Kurt is ready for him as he connects with a dropkick to the chest of Triple H who stumbles into the turnbuckle. Kurt traps him in the corner of the ring and connects with a chop to the chest followed by three more thrusts of the back hand. Kurt then pushes Triple H up onto the top turnbuckle immediately following him and completing a right hook on the way. The crowd watch in ore as Kurt tries to pull Triple H up into superplex. The first attempt fails as The Game clings into the ropes and so does the second. Kurt takes two more shots to the gut of Triple H weakening him up for a superplex. Triple H crashes with the canvass as the fans jump to there feet in unison chanting Kurt’s name aloud.

JR- Good God Almighty, both men just went crashing into the canvass.

Triple H – This could be it JR.

Kurt looks a little hurt from his own move but manages to cover Triple H whilst hooking the left leg in the process.

Triple H manages to raise his shoulder off the canvass to the disappointment of the crowd and Angle alike. Angle gets to his feet and pulls the hair of Triple H with him causing The Game to rise up with him. A kick to the mid section is followed up with a snap suplex to perfection causing a sudden bolt of pain in the back of Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Angle isn’t finished there as he picks Triple H up and hits a Belly to Belly suplex causing even more pain to the back of Triple H. You can tell Hunter’s back is causing him problems as he continuously arches his back trying to limit the contact with the canvass. Kurt sees this and drops a knee to the back of Hunter who cringes in pain and isn’t helped when Kurt follows up with a stiff elbow. Kurt pulls Triple H to his feet and Irish whips him into the ropes and pulls of a hip toss on The Game who lands on the already injured back. The fans still cheer Angle on as he hits Triple H with a Tilt a whirl backbreaker off the Irish whip.

JR- The tide has certainly changed here King, Kurt Angle who has surprisingly earned the approval of the fans has now gained the advantage in this match in a big way.

Kurt Angle knows the tilta a whirl was pulled off well and decides to make the pin by hooking the right leg and putting pressure on the left shoulder of Triple H who looks in trouble.

The Game kicks out as groans of disappointment can be heard throughout the arena. Kurt who’s condition is not at it’s best looks up in regret before he slowly makes his way to a vertical base and pulling his opponent with him. Triple H has sudden burst of energy and knows he need to change the tide so swings for a right hook on Angle. Kurt reacts well and ducks the impending blow and with the momentum Triple H carried his punch he ends up facing the back of The Game. The experience of Kurt Angle is shown as he leg and arm of Triple H and hits an Angle slam to perfection. Triple H’s body is forced into the canvass with an in mountable force as the crowd rise to there feet in uproar.

JR- An Angle Slam, its over it has to be!!!

Kurt Angle senses victory along with the crowd as he falls on top of Triple H to make the pin finally hooking the left leg of Hunter to make the pin secure.

Triple H shocks the crowd as he kicks out in the last split second of the 3 count causing some people to believe Kurt had won the match.

JR- How the hell did Triple H kick out?

Jerry Lawler- I don’t know JR.

Kurt Angle falls flat on his back breathing heavily trying to regain precious amounts of energy. Finally after several huge gulps of oxygen Kurt Angle makes it to a vertical base as Triple H slowly follows. Angle takes a swift kick to the mid section setting Triple H up for a spinning neck breaker. Hunter holds his neck in pain as Kurt Angle pulls straps of his tights off his shoulders leaving them to hang by his sides. The crowd rise to there feet in cheers as they know what’s coming and they hope the outcome will be the same as the past. Triple H remains on the floor as Angle grabs his ankle tightly and uses his leverage to turn HHH onto his
looks upon with a sour expression of determination painted across his face. Triple H begins to scramble on the floor trying his up most to reach the ropes.

JR- It’s locked it tighter than a pickle jar King and if I as a betting man I’d say Triple H is gonna tap!!!

Jerry Lawler – Don’t speak to soon JR. Triple H could make it to the ropes. I hope so anyway.

JR- I wouldn’t count on it King, Angle has picked is spot perfectly and the spot is dead centre in the ring.

Triple H’s face shows a grave expression of pain and torture as he tries desperately to make it to the ropes. The crowd begin to chant Angle’s name as they urge to see Triple H tap. Hunter focuses and begins to claw his way closer and closer towards the ropes. The canvass doesn’t break or tare but the way Triple H digs his fingernails into its crevice you wouldn’t have thought so. Angle stands giving him more leverage against Triple H who reaches a little closer towards his salvation. Angle has different plans and pulls on the Ankle once again. Not to cause pain but to pull him further away from the ropes. Triple H looks doomed to tap until he flips forward causing Angle to release the hold. Triple H rolls to his feet as Angle looks for a lariat which is ducked Triple H who surprises with a kick to the mid section followed by a DDT. Angle’s head crashes into the canvass with extreme force as the momentum of the DDT sees Angle flipping over onto his back were he stays along with HHH. The crowd chant Angle’s name trying to get to his feet and win the match whilst Triple H regains his strength. Gradually both men get to a vertical base as Kurt looks for a right hook and connects with the jaw of HHH who stumbles backward but reverts into a stiff kick into the mid section which sees Kurt bending forward and Triple H taking the advantage. Hunter hooks both of his opponents arms and pulls off a pedigree. Angle’s face crashes into the canvass as his arms are kept from helping by Triple H.

JR- Good God Almighty. The pedigree!!!

Jerry Lawler – It has to be over! I told you JR, Triple H is gonna win!!!!!!!!

Triple H slowly covers Angle and hooks the right leg using a lot of energy in the process as the fans watch on the edge of there seats. Earl Hebner begins the count

JR- Yessssssssss, Kurt Angle kicks out. He….Just kicked out of the pedigree.

Jerry Lawler – No. T…Th….That’s not supposed to happen!!!

The crowd are in uproar as the arena looks likely to implode from the fans cheers. Triple H’s expression is obvious as he slumps to his back trying to find the energy to carry on. Angle looks in an even worse state as the referee makes sure he can carry on. After Angle is adamant about competing Earl Hebner begin to make the count. Triple H makes it to his feet at nine and drops an elbow in desperation. After another 5 seconds Triple H pulls Angle to his feet and hits him with a left hand followed by an Irish whip into the turnbuckle. Triple walks over to Angle and climbs the second rope keeping his opponents head in his grasp. The fans watch as Triple punches the head over and over again each as vicious as the last. Triple H doesn’t look like stopping until Angle takes the initiative and grabs Hunters legs and pulls off a powerbomb. The crowd rise to there feet as they see Angle clutching onto the ropes trying to make it to his feet. Angle doesn’t just stop there but climbs the turnbuckle as the crowd watch with a huge amount of anticipation. Angle turns his back to the immobile Triple and jumps with might. A moonsault is pulled off to perfection as the crowd watch with wide eyes at the spectacular vault of athleticism. Angle crashes hard with Triple H’s chest as the fans erupt into a sea of cheers.

JR- Somehow, someway Kurt Angle managed to pull off a moonsault after such a brutal match.

Jerry Lawler – How did he do that JR?

Kurt Angle stays on the canvass clutching his stomach before making it to a vertical base. Kurt looks at the crowd and smiles before grasping the Ankle of his opponent and wrenching it into an Ankle Lock. Triple H reacts with screams of pure agony but he reacts fast and flips forward causing Angle to release the hold once again. Just like before Hunter rolls onto his feet and immediately runs with momentum towards Angle who is a little taken back by Triple H’s energy. The Game stretches his arm out looking for a lariat which is well ducked by Angle to the fans appeal. Angle reacts quickly and pulls off an Angle Slam. The crowd are in ore as Angle doesn’t make the pin but grabs the Ankle and locks in another Ankle lock.

JR- It’s locked in once again. Angle pulled off the Angle slam and now the Ankle lock is locked in!!!

Jerry Lawler – This can’t be happening, Triple H had it won!!!

The crowd chant in unison as Triple H screams in pain trying somehow to make it to the ropes. Hunter gives up and flips forward once again looking for escape. This isn’t the case as Angle keeps the ankle in his grasp and causing just as much pain as before. Triple H doesn’t give up and flips forward once again and once again to no avail. Triple H’s future looks bleak as he tries to pull himself towards the ropes. Each passing second feels like an eternity as the crowd pray that Hunter will tap. Slowly with the pain consuming him Triple H gradually makes his way to the ropes. The Game stretches his arm out at full stretch with the though of salvation clogging his mind. The ropes are inches away from Hunters fingertips and one more nudge would have him grasping the bottom. Angle reacts and pulls the leg of Hunter into the middle of the ring. Triple H sees the ropes fading away and his dreams of winning the World Title growing smaller. Once more he tries to flip forward but to no avail. Angle has had enough and drops down onto the floor wrapping his legs around the right leg of HHH. Triple H feels the added pressure and his screams of pain reach a higher pitch. The minutes slowly pass by as Triple H’s ankle is inhumanely twisted. After the 4 minute mark Triple H hand reaches mid air as the crowd chant “Tap, Tap.”

Jerry Lawler- No Triple H, hold on you can make it.

The kings pleads fall to death ears as Triple H’s hands begins to shale with pain. The feeling around the crowd is mutual and for one split second a pin drop could be heard throughout the arena. Until the almighty roars make there way big time.

JR- Triple H taps, Triple H taps.

Jerry Lawler – No he didn’y he couldn’t of.

JR – He has King, Kurt Angle wins it. Kurt Angle is the first ever JLA World Champion. His name will be set in stone as are first World Champion the man who made Triple H tap….Kurt Angle

The fans chant Angle’s name aloud as The World Title is placed around his waist. The gold glistening throughout the arena as Angle celebrates in front of the crowd that praise his name as Champion.

Winner – Kurt Angle – JLA World Champion

Brilliant Pay-Per-View, you have a very entertaining way of writing shows. I knew Ultimo Dragon would beat Jushin Liger and a good choice crowning Kurt Angle the new JLA World Champion. Looking foward to the continuation of these storylines.

No Mercy Review

Very good match to kick things off plenty of nice action from 3 men who deserved more then they have in their careers. Good ending and heartfelt victory for a face Credible? Now theres a new one.

very good show man you always pull through, but there were'nt any promos! I mean the matches were all great but no promos really hurt this show. I have no choice to give you such a poor mark of 7/10, but you got to have promos. I cant wait for the fallout, favourite match was the Fatal-4-Way and the Cruiserweight title match.

Thanks for the reviews guys. Yeah with the promos, I tend not to use them in PPV's. I tend to save them for LiveWire. I believe the PPV's should be for wrestling unless there's a major change in the layout.
