Re: Forever-Delayed and Kane01 Do WWE
I'm sorry for the lack of commentage for this thread, which actually is one of my favorite thread. But hopefully, everything will be back on track from now on. Starting with Kane01's SmackDown, and then moving to Forever Delayed's RAW.
WWE: Friday Night SmackDown -- 26th May 2006 -- Review
All I can say after reading that is, that the tribute to Chris Benoit was superb. R.I.P. Chris Benoit.
Kid Kash is the face here right? And he's debuting? Oh, looks like I've missed alot in these few months. But anyway, this match looked fine to me, and it actually hyped the cruiserweight division. I sense Kid Kash and Paul London facing each other somewhere for the Cruiserweight Title, but before it, I sense Kash turning on London, just to add some hype to their 'upcoming' feud.
Pretty strong promo from Kennedy, who I believe has potential to become the King of the Ring. I'd absolutely love to see the crown on him. But anyway, I liked when he said that it was just a blessing for him to lose against Carlito since he's far beyond the United States Championship. Good promo to hype his character, and King of the Ring.
Umm, I liked how this confrontation between Orton and Foley started nicely, but then in the end, it heated up, with Orton pissing off Foley, and quickly escaping. However, I didn't like the 'Randy Orton DVD' line from Mick Foley because it's repitive. I've seen you using this line before too, but I don't remember which show it was. All I know is that it was when Foley was going to Al-Snow's party and he was dressed as Dude Love, right? I think so. Anyway, this feud has been done before, but still looks awesome.
I liked the intensity you showed firstly in this promo between Edge and The Rock, which then lead to The Rock insulting all of his opponents. Those funny lines made me laugh, but I guess that they need to be serious now cause they are fighting for the WWE Championship.
I liked to see Eugene giving a tough fight to Kennedy, who then eventually picked up a win and advanced to the King of the Ring tourney. By the way, I liked to read Kennedy calling himself 'King Kennedy'.
Romero's confused, but I'm not. Fallen Angel's speech was very interesting to say the least. Skipper was just... eh, okay, and nothing special. But Chris Daniels was amazing, and I liked whatever he said, specially when he said that Triple X have changed the SmackDown's tag team division.
I liked how you portrayed Lesnar here. The intensity was foundable, and the promo itself was very enjoyable to read. Lesnar destroying Matthews was also great, and now, I'm just waiting for his return, but I'm sure that when he returns, he's going to be feuding with Batista (Who might win the title at KOTR) again.
Whoa, this looked like a match of the night. I, once again loved how you showed the intensity from everyone (Burchill, Finlay, and AJ Styles) here. Everything looked perfect to me, and the 'double countout' ending makes me believe that their feud is not over, which is definitely good. Lucky Kenndy though.
Batista's interview was fine, but after reading it, I've got a feeling that Lesnar might come back to screw Batista AGAIN at KOTR. I could be wrong though, and if I'm wrong in this theory, then my another theory is that Batista would win the title, and carry the title for some good time, until Brock comes back, hungry for the title, and their feud starts again. Well, let's see, but both of the theories could be wrong too. Lol.
Whoa, Five Pack Challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship? I must say this, it was a creative idea, and I loved how you introduced it. With Edge screwing The Rock in the middle, and then Lesnar screwing Batista once again. Would be a good match nonetheless, and now I believe that Edge will be the one walking out with the title.
I love how you surprise in each promo and each matches. Burchill definitely looked good with microphone, and Orton RKO'ing him was the surprise of the night. Orton picks up his place, but Foley will be coming, and I'm sure of that. Hah, Mick Foley screws Randy Orton, as Carlito picks up a victory and advances to the tourney. Although it is too early to predict, but I'm guessing a Traditional Survivor Series match is coming between Team Foley and Team Orton, in which Foley could lose his job to a new GM? Let's see.
The confrontation between Carlito and Shelton was nothing special, but a feud between them is coming right? Carlito's not winning the KOTR, and that's for sure.
Great tribute to Chris Benoit again, and I liked how the faces used Benoit's movesets, and I liked how in the ending, the heels also got up, and break the kayfabe, and payed respect to Benoit. Good show.
WWE: Monday Night RAW -- 29th May -- Review
I would absolutely loved to read this promo in full, but even in recap, it was more than interesting. Jericho and Christian both looked perfect, and I loved how you didn't add any joke in that one. Its good to see some seriousness in them, and Three Stages of Hell is a fresh idea in my opinion, and it'd be interesting to see if the title stays with Christian or we get to see a new champion, which I highly doubt.
I'm sorry I forgot, but please tell me that Matt Hardy still has the MITB with him? Anyway, onto the match, being as the Intercontinental Champ, it was good to see him retaining the title here. I somewhat believe he still has the MITB with him, and if yes, that's good to see him having two titles with him.
Whoa, Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman are outta here? I'm not sure because I'm sensing him to come back, or maybe go back to Friday Nights. I'm confused, and let's see where this confusion leads.
Man, just like your partner, you also have something fresh and interesting in every match and every promo of yours. I just thought Umaga would destroy Hardcore Holly, but it was really fresh to see Holly getting the best of Umaga here. Looks like a good feud to me, but in the end, Umaga will be the only winner.
All I can say after reading that little segment is, John Cena is focused.
First off, I don't really like seeing JBL and Booker T as a tag team. And this match didn't entertain me anyhow. I want to see JBL and Booker T moving to their single careers. Them as a tag team is just bland. Poor Highlanders though.
Whoa, WrestleMania rematch? Amazing. Mysterio coming to Monday Nights was a surprise, and the match itself was awesome. I liked the ending in this one, with Kurt Angle causing a DQ and destroying Mysterio, who advances in the KOTR tourney, but as you said, he could have been taked out, and if that's the case, I sense Mysterio and Kurt Angle feuding once again.
Angle's promo after the match and the commercial break was full of intensity, and that promo makes me believe that Mysterio won't be going near to the KOTR, and he'll end up feuding with Kurt Angle for sure.
Once again the surprisement was there. Spirit Squad was a hard task for CM Punk, but the good man always do good things. It was a good victory for CM Punk, who might end up becoming the KOTR winner, but I doubt it because Kennedy's there.
The Teachers return to RAW, only to suffer a loss against Christian and Tomko. And the aftermath, with Jericho applauding for Christian was also good, and I'm actually loving the seriousness in this feud now.
Damn, I loved this segment! I would have even loved it more if it was in full and if it was in full, I think it would've tied with your promo that you used in Semi Finals of the Promo Tourney. Triple H and Shawn Michaels, and John Cena were perfect. The Undertaker as Cena's partner was a real surprise though. Great surprise to end a wild night!
