Re: WWF 1994

January 3, 1994
Poughkeepsie, NY
Mid-Hudson Civic Center

The show starts off in the Undertaker’s work shop. He’s building a super LARGE casket made to fit for a certain sumo man for the Royal Rumble. Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Johnny Polo.

Greg Valentine vs Tatanka. Tatanka wins following a tomahawk chop off the top. Winner @ 1:33 Tatanka.

This Past Weekend: Wrestling Challenge, 1/2/94 – Jim Cornette complains about a contract clause that states Yokozuna/Undertaker at the Royal Rumble will be a casket match. Cornette says that clause wasn’t there when he first signed the contract. Interviewer Stan Lane keeps saying the word casket. The problem with that is that Yokozuna doesn’t like that word very much. He’s scared of caskets.

Bastion Booger/Rip Rogers vs The Headshrinkers (w/ Afa). Fatu pinned Rogers following the splash off the top. Winners @ 7:16 Headhsrinkers.

Let Us Take You Back To: Superstars, 1/1/94. Lex Luger takes on Quebecer Jacques. At one point, both men and the ref are completely knocked out. Quebecer Pierre heads down to pull the switcheroo on Luger when he kicks out of a Pierre running legdrop and makes the comeback pinning Pierre with the BIONIC FOREARM even though it was Jacques who was scheduled in the match. Jacques protests to the ref about the decision, so Lex hits him with the BIONIC FOREARM as well and pins both Quebecers in a matter of moments. Afterwards, Johnny Polo even gets a slice of the BIONIC FOREARM in his face.

Marty Jannetty vs Doink the Clown (w/ Dink). The Whoopie Cushion wins it for Doink. Winner @ 3:07 Doink the Clown. After the match Polo is making fun of Jannetty for losing to a clown. Jannetty overhears this and gets on the mic and says next week he and his partner want Quebecers. Polo laughs him off but Marty starts to insult Polo and he accepts saying winners get Steiners at Royal Rumble.

Earlier Today: Vince McMahon sits down with Lex Luger in the stands for an interview. Lex talks Rumble match and how it's going to be his time to carry the WWF championship. Luger then puts over Undertaker/Yokozuna match.

the Smoking Gunns vs Men on a Mission (w/ Oscar). Mabel pinned Billy following a legdrop. Winners @ 6:44 Men on a Mission.

Quick shoutout from Thurman “Sparky” Plugg. He’s on his way to the WWF.

Brian Walsh vs IRS. IRS wins following a back suplex. Winner @ 1:48 IRS.

Clips are shown from last week and the Quebecers training match with Johnny Polo.

John Chrystal vs Shawn Michaels. Naturally, HBK has his IC title with him. Quebecer Jacques joins us on the telephone. He’s thrilled to have this match next week. Chrystal he tries to make a match out of it here. HBK comes back and throws John out to Diesel just for fun. Back in, Chrystal attempts another comeback. It ain’t happening though. PILEDRIVER puts Chrystal down, an elbow drop off the top wins it. Winner @ 5:15 Shawn Michaels.

Show ends with Marty coming out and confronting Polo. Marty welcomes his partner 1-2-3 Kid out. They say how they will get the tag title shot at Royal Rumble from Quebecers next week. Polo says this will be the year of the Quebecers. Marty and Kid don't look convinced. Jannetty grabs Polo by the shirt and Jannetty knocks him out. Kid and Jannetty celebrate as we go off air.

Re: WWF 1994

Monday Night Raw
January 10, 1994
Richmond, VA
Richmond Coliseum

It’s the first anniversary show! Hey, there’s a cake at ringside. Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Randy Savage.

JS Storm vs Ludvig Borga. Borga just beats the hell out of this guy. Lex Luger joins us by telephone telling us that he would LOVE to get his hands on Ludvig Borga. Vince informs us Jack Tunney has made Luger vs Borga at the Rumble. Borga wins with the TORTURE RACK. Winner @ 2:30 Ludvig Borga.

A few moments from the first year of Raw are shown.

The Quebecers vs The 1-2-3 Kid & Marty Jannetty. Winners face Steiners at the Rumble for Tag Team Championship. The Quebecers dominated the majority of the match after an initial onslaught from Kid/Jannetty. They got cocky and tried proving a point by hitting LE CANNONBALL~ three times on Kid, but he moved on the third to make a hot tag to Marty. Polo attempted to interfere but it was stopped and Kid hit a crossbody as Jacques was in mid air during a Jannetty suplex. Winners @ 18:18 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty. Absolute upset and the crowd went crazy. After the match Randy Savage left the commentary table to congratulate the new number one contenders before the Kid and Jannetty left through the crowd.

Let Us Take You Back To: Superstars, 1/8/94. Yokozuna BANZAI DROPS not one, but TWO scrubs at the same time. Afterwards, the lights go out and the Undertaker and Paul Bearer appear on the video wall as the finishing touches are being made on the XXXL custom-made casket.

Barry Horowitz vs Crush. Winner @ 2:33 Crush.

Another moment from the first year of Raw is shown.

Dan Dubiel & Phil Apollo vs The Headshrinkers. Winners @ 2:31 Headshrinkers.

Vince McMahon wants to check in and see how the Quebecers and Johnny Polo are doing. Jacques and Pierre appear much more confident that everything will be fine because they have a GENIUS of a manager. Jacques is so proud that Polo has signed a contract before tonight's match for a Tag Title shot next week against the Steiners. Polo is just smiling in the background so full of himself for doing that.

Yokozuna vs Tatanka. Yokozuna picks apart Tatanka for most of the match. Tatanka makes a comeback which gets stopped by a Cornette racket shot. Yokozuna goes for a Bonzai drop but Undertaker's gong hits. Yoko looks to the aisle way in fear and out comes Paul Bearer rolling a casket. Yokozuna starts freaking out. Bearer rolls it to ringside and Yoko rolls out the other way and bails up the aisle way in absolute fear. Yoko gets counted out. Winner @ 15:45 Tatanka by countout.

One more moment from the first year of Raw is shown.

Derek Domino vs The Undertaker. Earl Hebner has the urn in his hands for some reason. UT doesn’t like that very much and Paul Bearer has to direct Taker’s attention back over to Hudson. Chokeslam. TOMBSTONE. It’s all over. Winner @ 2:34 Undertaker. After the match Undertaker rolls Domino into the casket and pushes to the back.

Now it’s time for Vince and Randy to cut the anniversary cake. Jerry Lawler comes out and demands to be included since he should be the commentator on RAW anyway. Savage agrees with him and says for at least one night, lets have bygones be bygones, and tells Lawler he can cut the cake. Savage looks to the crowd and Lawler asks where the knife is at. Savage tells him it's on the desk and Lawler reaches over to grab it and Savage shoves Lawler into the cake.

Re: WWF 1994

Monday Night Raw
January 17, 1994
Richmond, VA
Richmond Coliseum

Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Crush.

Iron Mike Sharpe vs WWF IC Champion Razor Ramon. Shawn Michaels came out to watch and Razor kept an eye on him throughout. Sharpe was able to get a few advantages throughout because of this. Shawn constantly teased getting in the ring. As the ref argued with Shawn, Diesel ran out and went to nail Razor with a big boot, but Razor ducked and Diesel kept going and hit Shawn instead by accident. Razor clotheslined Diesel over the top. Sharpe ran with a splash but Razor moved and Sharpe got caught groin first on the top rope. Razor got up under his shoulders and hit the Razor's Edge from the ropes to win. Winner @ 3:14 Razor Ramon.

Vince gets a word with Razor about Kid and Jannetty being the number one contenders for the tag gold at the Rumble. Razor says he will need to find a new partner for the six man at the Rumble. Razor then announces that Tatanka will be one but will fill in the other void at the Rumble. Razor then wishes Kid and Jannetty luck and says he will see them in the Rumble match itself.

Brian Walsh vs Jeff Jarrett. Winner @ 2:25 Jeff Jarrett.

Vince McMahon invites Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji to the ring. He asks where Cornette is, and Fuji says he's with Borga who sustained an ankle injury. Vince mentions that it's a Casket Match, and Yokozuna again is freaked out. The lights go out though and *GONG*~! Paul Bearer comes out, pushing a big casket with him. Fuji tries to calm Yoko down by saying that's what The Undertaker will go in at the Royal Rumble, so Yoko slowly walks over. Yoko lifts the lid up and Undertaker sits up in the casket. Yoko falls on his ass as he stumbles back, and bails out to the floor in fear. Undertaker then poses with the WWF championship.

Rich Myers vs Doink the Clown. Doink with the Whoopie Cushion picks up a win. Winner @ 3:39 Doink the Clown.

Clips are shown of the first Raw hyping up that Raw is been going strong for 1 year.

Tatanka vs Bastion Booger. Crush thinks the WWF is full of no-brain wrestlers competing just days before the Royal Rumble. Tatanka starts up the War Dance and hits the Flying Chop for the win. Winner @ 3:31 Tatanka. After the match Booger goes crazy and starts beating down Tatanka. Booger hits 2 sit down splashes on Tatanka. Tatanka was taken from ringside on a stretcher.

Another Bob Holly vignette aired .

Marty Jannetty vs Yokozuna. Yokozuna comes down looking over his shoulder for Undertaker or a casket. Undertaker don't make an apperance but you can tell Undertaker is in Yoko's head. Mr Fuji interfered causing Jannetty to crotch himself on the top rope. Yokozuna then hits a Bonzai Drop to win it. Winner @ 11:49 Yokozuna.

Kid/Razor feud is shown from Raw doing some more 1 year hyping.

The Quebecers vs WWF Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner. For the Tag team titles. 1-2-3 Kid came to ringside to watch the match without Marty because Marty is down from his match with Yoko. Steiners goe for the top rope bulldog but Polo crotches Rick on the top rope. Quebecers hit Le Cannonball for the win. Kid chased Polo to the back during the finish. Winners @ 16:48 Quebecers.

Jim Powers vs Shawn Michaels (w/ Diesel). The end of the match came when Michaels hit a sweet chin music followed by a piledriver. Winner @ 2:32 Shawn Michaels.

We get showed Vince and Jim Ross at ringside, and they welcome us to the show. They promote we will see Owen in action next, and Jim Riss starts to question if Bret will stand by Owen after all the comments and challenges Owen had for Bret.

Scott Taylor vs Owen Hart (w/ Bret Hart). The end of the match came after a very brief flurry of offense from Taylor who hit a number of uppercuts and tried to roll up Owen. Owen reversed and grabbed a handful of tights for the rollup victory. Winner @ 4:10 Owen Hart. After the match Bret is talking to Owen about the cheap victory saying thatch not how Harts win matches.

We are showed a promotion video hyping Kwang making his Raw debut next week.

Bastion Booger/Steve Lombardi vs The Smoking Gunns. In the ring, Booger was on the mat, Billy came off the top rope with a splash. The Gunns took this one via pinfall. Winners @ 5:24 Smoking Gunns.

PJ Walker vs IRS. Walker didn't have any offense at all, this was a complete squash. Vince and Ross talk about the whole IC title picture and IRS takeing Ramon's jewelry which he got back at the Rumble. IRS finished this match with the Write Off. Winner @ 3:10 IRS.

Marty Jannetty vs Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Luna Vachon). Bigelow finished off Jannetty with the diving headbutt. Winner @ 8:30 Bam Bam Bigelow.

Re: WWF 1994

Monday Night Raw
January 31, 1994
Bushkill, PA
Fernwood Resort

The current WWF champs were as follows:

World Champion: Yokozuna
Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon
World Tag Team Champions: 1-2-3 Kid/Marty Jannetty

Usual Raw opening with the cheesy music and bad video. In the arena, Vince McMahon welcomed us Live to the Bushkill Arena and to Monday Night Raw. Vince introduced his co-host Irwin R Scheister. Vince said that Lex Luger will face Yokozuna at WrestleMania for the WWF title since he won the Rumble match. IRS starts talking about tax cheats and tax deductions.

Shawn Michaels (w/ Diesel) vs Sparky Plugg. Diesel interferes on behalf of Shawn. Earthquake returns after a one year absence to counter Diesel's interference. Shawn gets distracted and Plugg rolls him up from behind for the win. Winner @ 3:48 Sparky Plugg.

After the match Sparky is celebrating widely with Earthquake as he just won his debut match. Razor Ramon comes out from the back. He made a b line for Shawn. Diesel tries to stop Razor and the two brawl until Diesel gets clotheslined out. Razor then chased Shawn around the ring and up the aisleway where Adam Bomb lays out Razor. Bomb then holds up the IC title over Razor while Shawn stood there. Bomb then went at Shawn but he bolted. Diesel then had a stare down with Bomb before leaving. Bomb then told Razor to worry about his title and not the fake title Shawn has. Bomb slapped Razor around and shoved the title in his before before heading to the ring for his match.

Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Luna Vachon) vs Adam Bomb. Dink runs down and tries to put the moves on Luna. Bigelow takes offense to it and goes and chases Dink. Bigelow gets back in and Bomb nails the Neutron Bomb for the pinfall. Winner @ 5:10 Adam Bomb.

WWF President Jack Tunney comes down to the ring. Tunney is surrounded by a bunch of agents acting as his security team. Tunney says he has come out here to make a very hard decision. Tunney says he has made Owen vs Bret for Wrestlemaina and brings out both Owen and Bret. They seem pretty cordial with each other. Bret seems a little upset while Owen is happy while trying to play ot off that he is not. Owen speaks first and he says how selfish Bret is and he doesn't give a damn about him anymore and that he is the true Excellence of Execution. Bret says it is unfortunate that he has to wrestle his brother, but it appears to be inevitable. Bret says he is not looking forward to Wrestlemaina but he will make the best out of it.

WWF World Champion Yokozuna/Crush vs The Bushwhackers. The ref calls the match when Crush comes into the ring with a chair and whacks Bushwhackers with the chair across their backs. Winners @ 0:54 Bushwhackers by DQ. Yokozuna then Bonzai drops both Bushwhackers sending a message to Luger.

Let Us Take You Back: Superstars, 1/29/94. Paul Bearer’s tribute to the Undertaker. He will return! OHHHHH YESSSSS!

Miguel Rosado/JD Striker vs The Headshrinkers. Complete squash as you would imagine. Winners @ 5:10 Headhsrinkers.

Jim Cornette is interviewed form backstage. Cornette says that no one can beat Yokozuna and he will remain WWF champion after Wrestlemania. Cornette puts over how Yokozuna killed the deadman at the Rumble and says Luger will see the same fate at Wrestlemaina.

Rich Myers vs Kwang. This is KWANG’s Raw debut. Superkick by Kwang gets the win. Winner @ 2:18 Kwang.

Before we go, there’s a HUGE “Irwin” chant going around.

The current WWF champs are as follows:
World Champion: Yokozuna
Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon
World Tag Team Champions: Kid/Jannetty

The usual music and video played to start the show, followed by Vince McMahon welcoming us to Monday Night Raw. Then Vince introduces his co-announcer.....Bastion Booger. Vince ran down the card for the evening, including Doink, Crush and Diesel in action. Bastion Booger says something while having a mouth full of food.

Billy Gunn vs Doink the Clown. Clunky match. Doink works over Billy until he escapes and hits a Flying Bodypress. Russian Legsweep sends Doink to the floor. Dink gets in the ring and headbutts Billy in the groin. Doink back in with Whoopie Cushion ends it. Winner @ 2:48 Doink the Clown.

Pre tape interviews air from Bret and Owen. Owen is still ecstatic for the chance to face his brother and show the world he’s better. Owen said that he wants to keep the rest of his family out of this because this is merely between he and Bret. Bret then says he never wanted to wrestle Owen, but it looks like he’s going to have to do something about this because it doesn’t look like it’s going to go away.

Brad Anderson vs Diesel. Diesel shows off his aggression here on poor Anderson. Down the stretch, Diesel hit Anderson with a Right-handed knockout punch which got him two before he pulled up Anderson from the mat. He hit a number of uppercuts and a big boot to the back of the head. He finally finished him with the Jackknife powerbomb. Winner @ 6:42 Diesel.

Jack Tunney is shown in his office to make a major announcement. Tunney announces that Marty Jannetty and the WWF have come to terms on his release. Tunney wishes Marty well in everything and says maybe someday he will be right back inside the WWF ring where he belongs. Tunney then says he must vacate the Tag titles. To declare the next tag champions we will have an 8 team tournament over the next four weeks. The final two teams will compete at Wrestlemania for the titles. Tunney says the first match is tonight with Men on a Mission vs Razor/Kid.

Jim Powers vs Crush. Crush is not impressed with Powers' clotheslines. He makes him pay with kicks and such. Press slam sets up a Running Legdrop for the win. Winner @ 2:39 Crush.

Razor Ramon/1-2-3 Kid vs Men on a Mission. M.O.M win and advance to the next round. They will fight the winners of Bushwhackers vs Smoking Gunns on Superstars. Winners @ 11:12 Men on a Mission.

Vince reminds us that there is no Raw the week following this show, and they will be back in two weeks. He promoted M.O.M will continue the next round next week, and also Tatanka would be in action. Vince handed Bastion some dog biscuits, and Raw went off the air with Booger eating them.

The current WWF champs are as follows:
World Champion: Yokozuna
Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon
World Tag Team Champions: Vacant

Opening video and we were in the arena with Vince McMahon welcoming us to Monday Night Raw. Immediately, Headshrinker's music hit and out they came with Afa leading the way. Vince hypes this is a tag tournament match where the winners face Men on a Mission at Wrestlemania.

Headshrinkers (w/ Afa) vs the Quebecars (w/ Johnny Polo). Both teams show real promise in this match. In the end Samu was brawling with Jaques when Men on a Mission came down. They went right for Polo and gave him a little beat down. Pierre ran the ropes but Afa gave him a little shot with his head cane thingand Fatu pins Pierre after a top rope splash. Winners @ 10:32 Headshrinkers. After the match M.O.M and Headshrinkers had a stare down.

We come back to the announcers, and we saw Harvey Whippleman for the first time. They raved about the match that we had just seen, and showed a replay of the last couple of minutes.

Jim Powers vs WWF IC Champion Razor Ramon. Nothing to the match just making Razor look good leading to the WrestleMania match with Shawn Michaels which gets announced here.Winner @ 1:48 with the Razor's Edge Razor Ramon.

Bret Hart cuts a pre tape promo saying he is finally ok with fighting his brother and will teach him a lesson at Wrestlemaina.

Dan Dubiel vs Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Luna Vachon). Loads of diving headbutts, but the Enziguri Kick scores the win. Winner @ 1:15 Bam Bam Bigelow.

Backstage, Stan Lane was outside Shawn Michaels dressing room. Shawn pointed out that no one pinned his shoulders down to the mat for 1-2-3 so he's the real Intercontinental champion. Stan started asking about Razor climbing the ladder in the WWF, but Shawn cut him off. He said talking of ladders, he will be putting his belt twenty feet above the ring and both men have to use a ladder to get it. He said when he climbs the eight foot ladder to get the belt he will be the undisputed champion. Stan went to ask another question, but Shawn said he's sick of answering questions and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

John Paul vs IRS. Nikolai Volkoff was shown sitting in the front row. Winner @ 1:35 IRS.

Vince and Harvy hype that next week we will see Men on a Mission be in action.

the Brooklyn Brawler vs Earthquake. Brawler has no chance. Earthquake hit a surprisingly beautiful looking dropkick. Slam followed by the Quake splash and this one was over. Winner @ 2:58 Earthquake.

They promoted that next week we would hear more about "sightings of The Undertaker" with the graphic making him look like a ghost. They also promoted that it would be Doink and Crush vs. Bushwhackers, Owen Hart and Kwang in action.

Monday Night Raw
March 7, 1994
Poughkeepsie, NY
Mid-Hudson Civic Center

The current WWF champs are as follows:
World Champion: Yokozuna
Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon
World Tag Team Champions: Vacant

Opening video followed by Vince McMahon welcoming us to Raw. As Vince welcomed us, Money Money Money played over the loudspeakers as Vince's co-host for tonight, Ted DiBiase, joined him. They talked about how tonight Tatanka would have a special presentation as well as M.O.M, Kwang and Owen Hart in action, as well as a match between Doink and Crush vs Bushwhackers next.

The Bushwhackers vs Doink the Clown (w/ Dink)/Crush. Vince explains that Mr Fuji handpicked Doink to be Crush's partner since Smash is injured. Nikolai Volkoff is chanting U-S-A from the front row. Doink does his tricks on a few girls at ringside. Pretty decent match, which the crowd was surprisingly into. Winners @ 4:58 Doink/Crush.

Vince goes over and gets some comments from the winners. Crush says that if Volkoff doesn't stop be a distraction in the front row he will personally put an end to him.

the Brooklyn Brawler vs Kwang (w/ Harvey Wippleman). Brawler works a hammerlock and controls Kwang. Out of nowhere Kwang nails a spinning heel kick for the win. Winner @ 1:29 Kwang.

Sy Sperling from the Hair Club for Men thinks his company can do a WORLD of good for Mr. Fuji. Vince can’t wait to see what Sperling will do for Howard Finkel come WrestleMania.

the 1-2-3 Kid vs Owen Hart. Bret Hart came out and was in Kid's corner while Shawn Michaels and Diesel stood in Owen's corner. Diesel tried to get involved and Hart and Diesel started brawling. Ref got distracted and Shawn went to nail Kid with his IC belt. Kid ducked and Shawn hit Owen. Kid covered but Diesel reached in and pulled ref out. Razor ran down and ran Diesel into the post and helped Bret and Kid fend off Shawn, Diesel, and Owen. The heels bail as Razor talks trash to Shawn while holding up the real IC belt. Winner @ 9:57 No Contest.

Virgil/Barry Horowitz vs Men on a Mission (w/ Oscar). Vince spends the match hyping up the M.O.M vs Headshrinkers match at Wrestlemania for the tag titles. Mabel pinned Virgil after being pushed onto Virgil by Mo on the top rope. Winners @ 1:47 Men on a Mission.

Vince introduces Chief Ray Little Turtle of the Lumbee Indian tribe. Chief Jay Strongbow and Chief Wahoo McDaniel are also introduced for this segment. Out comes Tatanka to be presented with a big ceremonial Indian headdress. He tells a story of always respecting the headdress since he was a little kid and even sheds a few tears. Everybody embraces and stuff. Tatanka finishes saying he will not let them down at Wrestlemaina against Jeff Jarrett.

Jim Cornette was standing at ringside with the Heavenly Bodies. Vince said that at road to Wrestlemaina, Jimmy Del Ray would go up against Lex Luger. Cornette talked about the difference between American and Japanese made items. He built up Jimmy and said Lex, he will make you a shell of a man for WrestleMania. We go off the air with Jimmy Del Ray thrusting his hips.
