Default Re: Being the booker

Masters/Dudley- Nice start to the show, with a brawl and a setup for Great American Bash. Glad that Masters won.

JBL- Typical JBL promo, nothing special, but needed.

Bret Hart interview- Good little add-on, getting the ball rolling for who will be the next GM. Angle continues to worry about Hart, nice touch.

Tag Match- Great way to hype up the battle royall at GAB.

Rock Sit Down Interview- Very well done, I cant wait for this match Sunday! Rock was very in character.

AFA- Hilarious. I love this Simmons, Rico angle you got going. Classic.

6 Man Tag- Another good choice of match to hype up GAB, nicely done.

Angle/Jericho- Well done here, suprised to see Angle get attacked.

Tag Match- Liking this match, with Eddie and Benoit beginning to argue with each other. Damn that JBL!

Goldberg Sit Down- Another good segment, Goldberg in character. He has been on a roll lately, but I dont see him beating The Rock.

Bichoff/Hart- Funny little segment.

V1/Simon Dean- Glad everyone was sent to the back for this one, along with the V1 victory.

Regal/Storm- Great interview! Loved Storm's remarks.

Benoit/Eddie- Yet another good segment with the two clashing heads. Again.. Damn you JBL!

6 Man Tag- Fabulous main event, Im surprised that the heels won.

Overrall- Great show, alot of tag matches, but they were good choice. 9/10.

Default Re: Being the booker

Well lets see, great shows. This will be a long review as Smackdown was pretty long and it was before a pay per view so I want to get as much detailed as I can. Also because I didn't get around to Smackdown last week which was a shame, I will make up for that.

First though I want to start off with Raw.

Shaniqua continues her dominance over the womans divisions, which I say dominance because she defeated the most dominant female competitor Chyna. 8/10

All outside interference banned in the main event was a strong choice because now it leaves any possibility open. Had there not been a barring of interference I would have strongly leaned towards HBK but now not as much. Which is always a good thing with a match especially one as big as this to have suspense and not predictable. 9/10

Orton vs Henry later, meh, not too big on Mark Henry but it will be interesting to see what Orton's plan is later on. Decent backstage segment. 7/10.

Once again another teaser to the RVD/Rey split, this time it was more intense with RVD being at fault for messing Rey up. RVD blaming Rey makes the confusion between the two heighten, I love the way you are going about with this storyline. 9/10

Cena's promo seemed a bit of filler, nothing too important but it did hype up the match later on between HBK and Taker a bit. 6/10

Randy Orton vs Mark Henry went a bit better then I imagined because of Orton's antics, barricading Evolution in the locker room. RKO picks up the win and Orton sends the message. Good stuff because Henry beating Orton would have made Orton look incredibally weak. 8/10

Huge match next week for 4th of July. That is open to anyone winning and it will be interesting to see who wins and what they choose for their summerslam match. 9/10.

Boy, doesn't RVD feel stupid lol. I think this will just enrage RVD and make his jealousy for Rey intensify. No doubt RVD will be playing the heel role in this split. 9/10

Edge and WGTT taking on DX seems like it would be a good six person tag match. Surprised to see Edge get the clean cut pin. Good segment. 8/10.

Main Event, incredible. HBK gets the clean win without any assistance. Not 1...not 2....but THREE Sweet Chin Musics does it. Awesome 10/10.

Good Raw- Overall- 83/100 = 83%

Smackdown time.

A pretty good way to open things up with Masters debut match. Good to put him against Spike because you want to make him look strong in his first match and not weak. The post match hoopla with Hardy also added to this segment and got things going headed into GAB. 8/10.

Now when I say this I mean it. EXCELLENT PROMO! You really know how to lay out a fabulous promo and keep each star in character. You did just that with JBL, with great emphasis on Eddie and Benoit's non American origin and the U.S. Title. Great promo, with great JBL vocabulary. 10/10.

Angle hinting towards what would be one of the greatest matches in wrestling history. Hopefulyl Bret will be able to compete down the road and I can definiatly see this match taking place sometime. Perhaps at Wrestlemania being that would be the best place to hold a match of that caliber. Good segment and all it could be. 8/10

Not much to say here, good match to add to the card with cruiserweights always entertaining. Good build to the gauntlet as well. 8/10.

Here is an example of another exceptional promo. Great passion to from The Rock and some great lines. Norman Smiley, and Disco Inferno lmao. Great line but the truth as well. How many main names did Goldberg beat in his streak? Not many. Again great promo and the hype for GAB in this show is superb.10/10.

LMFAO!!!! Rico and Faarooq is the most unlikely yet funniest pairing I have seen in BTB. They are at it again with great comdey, with alot added with Kanyon, Dean, and Masters. AFA! Great stuff! Faarooq that poor bastard...and no better way to end the segment then with a "well I be damned." 10/10.

AMW/London vs Akio/Storm/Regal...killed two birds with one stone in this match and was able to hype two title matches at GAB in one match. Excellent booking. I have a feeling the Faces will go over Sunday. 8/10.

Nicely done backstage segment to add more spark to three of the main matches at GAB. Everyone was in character like they should be and I liked Jericho returning to make the save before too much damage was done to Angle. Good heat going into GAB which I have a feeling will intensify in the main event.

Hmmm, tension betweem Eddie and Benoit going into the threeway match. It is something that needs to be done so the match stays everyone for themself. Good way to do it also with JBL playing mind games as his music was the cause of the dissention between Eddie and Benoit in the first place. 9/10.

Goldberg interview, another well written interview. Not as good as The Rock's before but still great none the less. I am really looking forward to this match and rooting for The Rock. Even though the people I want to win never win *coughchristiancough*..lol jk. 9/10 for the interview.

Bischoff that annoying little bastard, ranting to the wrong person. I have a strange feeling that the interim GM MIGHT be someone you have not mentioned yet, but obviously I cann easily be wrong. 8/10.

Matt Hardy and Simon Dean seemed a bit unneccesary as a match seeing as this was a pretty packed Smackdown. But I guess it was the only way to further advance the fued going into GAB. After match happenings were the most progressive though with the 3D through the table. 7/10.

Well an all out Eddie and Benoit breakdown. Just what JBL wanted, the mind games worked and now it can be anyones match at Great American Bash but I am more leanent to JBL after this. Good segment. 9/10.

Main Event had all of the build up it could possibly have with the heels getting the upperhand. Rock and Goldberg brawled away and each feud not only in this match but in the whole show has been capped off and ready to come to a head at GAB.9/10.

Excellent Smackdown with tremendous hype and build to the pay per view which a show before hand should have. If this were a true tv episode of Smackdown it would have got the job done in persuading people to order Great American Bash which already has an impressive card without the hype delivered anyways. It will be an exceptional pay per view and I can not wait for it. One of the best cards I have seen in BTB for a while, at least to me. Can not wait.

Smackdown Grade- 122/140 87%..excellent.

Here are my Great American Bash predictions.

WWE Championship Match:
The Rock vs. Goldberg
Prediction- The Rock, only because I dont see Goldberg winning the title right now and Rock winning the rematch with Goldberg from Backlash 2003 seems fitting.

WWE United States Championship; Fatal Four Way Match:
Eddie Guerrero vs. J.B.L vs. Chris Benoit
Prediction- JBL. After the mind games with Benoit and Eddie I think JBL will steal the title right out from under them like a thief and be the true U.S. Champion.

WWE Tag Team Championships Match:
America’s Most Wanted vs. William Regal & Lance Storm
Prediction- Like I said before after the heels taking advantage in the six man I see the face team being victorious here.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match:
Paul London vs. Akio w/Sakoda
Prediction- Paul London...See above prediction.

#1 Contenders Match; Winner faces WWE Champion at SummerSlam:
Triple H vs. Kurt Angle
Prediction- This is a toughy, but since I picked The Rock earlier I think Triple H will win and take on Rock at Summerslam. Actually scratch that. I have a feeling Stone Cold will cost Trips the match. Kurt Angle wins and faces Rock at Summerslam. Wow I am damn confusing. Hard match to call though.

Grudge Match:
Brock Lesnarw/ Paul Heyman vs. Chris Jericho
Prediction- I am going to go out on a limb and predict Brock Lesnar to win this and perhaps continue the fued into SS.

6 Man Elimination Tag Team Table Match:
Dudley Boyz & Matt Hardy vs. Simon Dean, Chris Masters & Kanyon
Prediction- I think Masters and company will take this one to the bank. I believe Masters will be the reason for the victory too as he will be the final one in the match to push him a bit.

10 Man Cruiserweight Gauntlet Match:

(To determine the #1 Contender for the Cruiserweight Championship)
Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble vs. Nunzio vs. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Shannon Moore vs. Spike Dudley vs. Tajiri vs. Ultimo Dragon
Prediction- Wow this one is basically up for grabs, but I will go out on a limb and say Billy Kidman. For what reason I don't know, just hard to see who will win this.

Announcement of Interim General Manager…who will it be??
Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, Christopher Nowinski, Tazz and JBL among others all in the running…who will it be??
Prediction- Like I said during my Smackdown review, I have a feeling it is someone not mentioned above. But again I could be wrong. So my prediction is someone not mentioned.

I will say this again, great card, great Smackdown to hype things up going into it. Can not wait to see what happens Sunday. Keep up the fantastic work.

Default Re: Being the booker

Raw:
Chyna/Shaniqua- Another good victory for Shaniqua. I hope the 2 Women Power Trip continues on with some tension between the 2. 7/10

DX arriving- Really put over the fact that the #1 Contender's match is important which in turn makes the World Title look important. 8/10

Evolution, Orton barricading the door, and Orton's victory.- Good to see Evolution scheming and Orton counter-scheming (Another point for mentioning it in Orton's promo) 9/10

More tension between RVD and Rey, hope this leads to an explosive rematch at Summerslam. 9/10.

Good concept with the Independence Day match. But nothing too special, though. 6/10

Interesting to see where Carlito/Sting goes. 7/10

WGTT and Edge vs. DX- Not sure where Edge is going right now, but I'd love to see WGTT vs. Cade/Jindrak continue. 6/10

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker- A great victory for Shawn although I was expecting this match to happen at Summerslam instead of on Raw. I'm looking forward to Cena/HBK 10/10

Total: 62/80

Smackdown:
Spike Dudley vs. Chris Masters and Matt Hardy vs. Simon Dean- Good to see some buildup to what I think will be the curtain-jerker at Summerslam. 7/10

JBL promo. Nicely written. 10/10

Bret/Kurt segment. I'm loving every single second of this feud. 10/10

Kidman and Tajiri vs. Chavo and Noble. Good to see some hype being put on the Cruiserweight Gauntlet. 7/10

Rock interview. Great intensity from the The Rock. Really makes the title match at GAB 10x more important than what it is 10/10

AFA segment. I can't believe it, I'm actually enjoying a ****sexual angle. 8/10

AMW and Akio vs. Unamericans and Paul London. Good hype for 2 GAB matches here. I'll be very interested in London/Akio. 7/10

Angle/Triple H/Jericho/Brock backstage segment. Again, good hype for 2 big GAB matches. Love the Jericho/Angle exchange at the beginning. 9/10

Benoit and Eddie vs. Test and Steiner and backstage brawl segment. Nice to see the tension between Eddie and Benoit boiling over. 8/10

Goldberg interview. Less intense than Rock's but really put over the fact that he's ready. 8/10

Bret/Bischoff segment. Good to see some campaigning from Bischoff, he's my pick for the GM position, btw. 7/10

Storm/Regal interview. Really enjoyed this interview. It'll certainly be interesting to see them win the Tag Titles just a day before the 4th July. 10/10.

Main Event. It's a good main event and some more nice buildup to Triple H/Austin. 9/10

Total: 111/130

GAB predictions:
WWE Title: The Rock vs. Goldberg. Rock will definitely retain here and I'm going to be looking forward to a Rock vs. Angle match at Summerslam.

US Title: Eddie Guerrero vs. JBL vs. Chris Benoit. It'll be fitting for someone like JBL to win the US Title in Washington DC just a day before the American independence. Hence, he's my pick.

WWE Tag Titles: AMW vs. Unamericans. I'm going for the Unamericans here just to see them have promos where they continually rub their victories into the crowd's face.

Cruiserweight Title: Paul London vs. Akio. London will retain in a very explosive Cruiserweight match.

#1 Contendership Match: Triple H vs. Kurt Angle. After Smackdown, it's pretty much a given that Angle will win whilst Triple H goes on to face Austin at Summerslam.

Brock Lesnar vs. Chris Jericho. Jericho's pinned Lesnar and eliminated him in the #1 Contendership Battle Royale so that means Lesnar's going to win this one. I wouldn't be surprised to see this feud continue on to Summerslam, though.

6 Man Elimination Table Match. I'm going with Dean, Masters, and Kanyon here. They need a PPV win to give him some credibility as heels.

10 Man Cruiserweight Gauntlet Match. This one's going to be a fun match and I'll be going for Kidman.

GM announcement. I'm going for Bischoff, although I wouldn't mind Heyman.

Default Re: Being the booker

- Glad to see Akio win, as this feud between him and London could become interesting. Obviously a Kidman turn coming soon though, I can tell.

- Fantastic JBL promo, really great and Rico’s lines were brilliantly written as well. Quality stuff.

- Simple squash match, but was really effective. And why is it that whenever somebody needs to be jobbed to a monster to get them over, its always Shannon Moore? Never mind, simple match which played out well, hopefully there’s more to come from Goldberg tonight.

- Guerrero/Benoit promo was written well, but I can feel a turn from one of them, but I cant decide who. Although I’m leaning towards Benoit turning eventually. I still think JBL will win though .

- Hmm, this Hart promo was well delivered, but very unexpected. I suppose it’s so you can prolong this Angle/Hart match till Mania, rit? Angle’s reaction backstage was great as well.

- Kanyon/Hardy match was a great filler choice, and a great feud could come out of this. Should be interesting to see where you go with this. And also, LOL at Tazz wanting to be the GM, classic.

- Awesome Jericho humour, best promo I’ve seen in a while from him. Heyman was mint and Brock was great.

LMAO!!!!!!!!

- Glad to see Regal/Storm get a push as I’ve always loved this team, especially when Chief Morely was there as well. Can’t see them winning the belts though.

- Thank god for Angle, because I was about ready to fall asleep again with Triple H on the mic. He needs a character change, and FAST. He’s so stale its beyond belief, turn him face L Angle was brilliant, I see him winning at GAB, and maybe taking the Title at SummerSlam, although I doubt it. Nice to see Austin attack again.

- Great Austin/Hart interaction, although I thought it lacked a bit of “Real Tension” between them. I would have liked to hear a reference to their WM Match, but that doesn’t matter. Austin v Triple H feud is really gunna heat up now.

- I would have loved to see Rico win, but I guess it’s better if he doesn’t as JBL needs to momentum heading into GAB. Well booked with great tension at the end with Guerrero/Benoit.

- Another brilliant Masters/Dean interview, really getting them over against the Dudleys. And Kanyon’s addition to the group is interesting, I suppose it because you’ve got nothing else for him, still brilliant.

- Main Event was very well booked, with Lesnar getting a clean win, it blows the GAB match WIDE open. Should be interesting to see who wins.

Realism – No Rock? No WWE Champion? And only a squash match for Goldberg? A little disappointing, 8/10

Length –Can’t find any faults here, perfect length, 10/10

Quality/Entertainment –Very, very entertaining, especially the Rico segments, 9/10

Spelling/Grammar –Can barely pick out a thing.10/10

Matches/Booking –Booked brilliantly, 9/10

Overall, a brilliant 92/100

Grade A

WWE Championship Match:
The Rock vs. Goldberg
Prediction- I can see Goldberg winning this, his character has developed nicely and Rock has had his run.

WWE United States Championship; Fatal Four Way Match:
Eddie Guerrero vs. J.B.L vs. Chris Benoit
Prediction- JBL. No doubt. His promos have been so emotional, I can’t see him not getting it.

WWE Tag Team Championships Match:
America’s Most Wanted vs. William Regal & Lance Storm
Prediction- AMW to win, they’re over and it’s barely a feud, but if it continues to SummerSlam, Regal and Storm will win.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match:
Paul London vs. Akio w/Sakoda
Prediction- London won’t lose yet, he’s too over, and I’m waiting for this London/Kidman feud.

#1 Contenders Match; Winner faces WWE Champion at SummerSlam:
Triple H vs. Kurt Angle
Prediction- Angle, definitely, Triple H is preoccupied with Austin, but Bret has gone away for a while, so Angle will shine and beat the winner of the Main Event for the belt methinks.

Grudge Match:
Brock Lesnarw/ Paul Heyman vs. Chris Jericho
Prediction- Hmmm, not sure at all about this, but I can see Jericho getting the win for some reason.

6 Man Elimination Tag Team Table Match:
Dudley Boyz & Matt Hardy vs. Simon Dean, Chris Masters & Kanyon
Prediction- Not sure, but I think Masters will win his PPV debut.

10 Man Cruiserweight Gauntlet Match:
(To determine the #1 Contender for the Cruiserweight Championship)
Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble vs. Nunzio vs. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Shannon Moore vs. Spike Dudley vs. Tajiri vs. Ultimo Dragon
Prediction- Kidman all the way. The Kidman/London feud will start at GAB.

Announcement of Interim General Manager…who will it be??
Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, Christopher Nowinski, Tazz and JBL among others all in the running…who will it be??
Prediction- No idea, should be great to see, although I still favour Tazz :P

WILL REVIEW NEXT SMACKDOWN LATER!!!!!

Sunday Night Heat:

Steve Romero and Torrie Wilson host the show, less than an hour from the Great American Bash. Torrie is dressed up in the Red, White and Blue cheerleader suit. Prior to tonight’s event, Matt Morgan will face Rikishi.

We watch a video recap from the Smackdown Main Event, before Steve and Torrie discuss the end of show shenanigans, before showing a build up video for the Kurt Angle - Triple H match.

Commercial

We return with an interview with Tajiri ahead of tonight’s 10 Man Cruiserweight Gauntlet. He talks Japanese the whole time though.

Torrie and Steve share a joke over Tajiri’s interview, before discussing the Triple Threat Match for the United States Title, showing clips from Smackdown, before moving onto a video package for the match later.

Following a commercial, we watch the arrival of Goldberg to the arena ahead of his WWE Championship Match tonight. Romero and Wilson talk about the enormity of that match tonight, before discussing some of the undercard matches for tonight, with the Tag Titles and Cruiserweight Title on the line, as well as the six man tables match. They then show the interview conducted with Regal and Storm on Smackdown.

We cut to Christopher Nowinski preparing backstage for the announcement of the Interim General Manager later on. He talks into the mirror, giving an acceptance speech.

Torrie and Steve discuss the possible candidates for the role, and both laugh off the chances of Nowinski, as we go to a break.

We return with a video package hyping the Chris Jericho - Brock Lesnar match scheduled for later tonight. Both say that Jericho will be hell bent on revenge, after what happened at the end of Smackdown.

Josh Matthews tries to get an interview with Bret Hart, but Hart is too busy on the phone, and apologises to Josh.

After a commercial, Matt Morgan takes on Rikishi. Match isn’t great, but both men try hard. Morgan gets the win with an awesome Powerbomb, which the crowd cant believe, seeing Rikishi getting power bombed.

Michael Cole and Tazz then quickly run down the card, before the Rock - Goldberg video package airs, and the show ends

…AND NOW…

WWE Great American Bash:

Date:
3rd July

Location:
MCI Centre; Washington D.C:

Event Music:
Trust Company, Fold

Opening Video:

We open in a field, where a father, mother, son and daughter stand, with an American Flag, and together they push the flag pole into the ground, and let the stars and stripes stand proud. The family stand side by side, as an ex-presidents voice is then heard speaking:

“I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the People, by the People, for the People”

(Clips of the possible new interim General Managers)

“Whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; A democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many Sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable”

(Clips of Kurt Angle and Triple H)

Triple H:
Kurt I will go through you, I will smash your face with a sledgehammer, and I will Pedigree your ass to hell to get to Summer Slam.

Kurt Angle:
Triple H, you will get the best from Kurt Angle, you will get everything I have to offer, and I don’t care what you throw in my path, I’m doing one of two things, I’m pinning you one, two, three, or I’m making you submit to the Anklelock.

Triple H:
July 3rd, Kurt, you better bring you’re A- Game, because if you don’t, I promise you, you will not set foot into a WWE ring ever again.

Kurt Angle:
At The Great American Bash, I’m gonna use my freedom of expression, and I’m gonna use my freedom to kick your ass, and make you tap.

“Established upon those principles of Freedom, Equality, Justice, and Humanity for which American Patriots sacrificed their Lives and Fortunes”

(Clips of Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and JBL)

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield:
I live in a far from perfect society. A society that accepts low life gutter trash like Eddie Guerrero to make a mockery of the WWE United States Championship. A Championship which has been in grubby, Mexican hands for seven months too long, but at The Great American Bash, I, as a great American, will finally restore order to the championship, and will bring it back to American soil.

Eddie Guerrero:
My heart lies in America, my soul lives with the United States Championship. I don’t hide my roots, but I AM an American!!

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield:
And as if the championship being held by a Mexican isn’t enough, they give a title shot to a low life, Canadian. It isn’t equality, it is a darn right joke.

Chris Benoit:
All my life, I have fought to be the best, I’ve never complained, I’ve never moaned, if I want something, I FIGHT to get it. I don’t care what nationality, or what race, or colour my opponents are, they are equal, and the U.S Championship is a title for all!!!

“I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to Love it; to Support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to Respect its Flag; and to defend it against all enemies”

(Rock - Goldberg clips)

The Rock:
Goldberg, you may be big, you may be strong, but you aren’t, and will never be WWE Champion!!!

Goldberg:
Your time is up Rock.

The Rock:
No one, AND THE ROCK MEANS NO ONE, is gonna take his WWE Championship, and that goes for you too Goldberg.

Goldberg:
Rock, I wouldn’t say that your title reign is on borrowed time, no, I’d say it was on life support. Face it, last time we faced off, I simply, CRUSHED you, I DISMANTLED you, and I made you disappear.

The Rock:
Goldberg, I am the WWE Champion, I am WWE Champion, for a reason. The Rock doesn’t shirk ANY challenge, The Rock doesn’t hide behind anybody else, The Rock refuses to lie down for ANYBODY, much less a jabroni like you.

Goldberg:
Prepare for a second instalment of out first meeting on July 3rd. I promise that The Rock is losing his WWE Championship, and I’m predicting that after the Great American Bash, one way or another, The Rock will disappear once again.

The Rock:
The Rock aint goin NO WHERE!!!

Goldberg:
Rock, YOURE NEXT!!!

The Rock:
Bill Goldberg?? Juuuuusssstt Bring It!!!!

We then cut to a classroom, where children are saying the Pledge of Allegiance, and as they speak, flashing images play of The Rock, Triple H, Guerrero, JBL, Benoit, Goldberg and Kurt Angle

“I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America…”

The video then ends, with a close up look of the flag waving in the air…

AND NOW, SUBWAY PRESENTS, A SMACKDOWN PRODUCTION OF WWE’S GREAT AMERICAN BASH!!!!…

The camera pans around the arena, with fan signs such as “Washington is Jericho”, “Akio is a Great American” and “JBL - Justa Big Loser”

Tazz:
I totally agree Hugo!!!

Michael Cole:
You don’t talk Spanish!!

Tazz:
Bonjour!!!

Michael Cole:
That’s French…

**Simon System** Simon Dean, along with his tag team partner, Chris Masters, and their third man, Kanyon make their way out into the arena to a decent amount of heat from fans, desperate for action.

Tony Chimel:
The following contest, is a six man tables match!!! In this match, the winners will be the first team to eliminate all three members of the opposite team, with elimination occurring by being put through a table!!! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 755 pounds, the team of Kanyon, and The System Success, Simon Dean & Chris Masters!!!

**The three men chat together, and Simon asks for a mic**

Michael Cole:
Folks, we are set for some six man tables action to kick things off tonight.

Tazz:
Hey Cole, maybe you can get wood tonight!!! And maybe someone will put you through a table too…

Simon gets set to talk, but then…

**OHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHH** Matt Hardy’s music hits to a big pop from the MCI Centre. Hardy signals to the fans, whilst Dean looks angry in the ring. The Matt Fact is: “Matt eats breakfast once a day”

Tony Chimel:
And their opponents…first, from Greensboro North Carolina, weighing 227 pounds, Matt Hardy Version One!!!

**Matt reaches the ringside area, and waits for his tag partners**

Michael Cole:
Matt Hardy is no stranger to tables, I would say Matt is gonna find himself at home in this match tonight.

Tazz:
Well, I’m sure he’ll find it weird teaming with the Dudleyz, after all the wars those guys had, when Matt was with his brother Jeff, in the TLC series.

**Bombshell** The Dudley Boyz make their way out, to a fairly decent pop, and salute the fans, before sprinting to the ring, not even giving time for introductions, and chase after the opponents.

6 Man Elimination Tag Team Table Match:

Dudley Boyz & Matt Hardy vs. Simon Dean, Chris Masters & Kanyon

The six men start out brawling, with Bubba pounding down Masters, D’ Von beating on Simon and Hardy attacking Kanyon, all on the outside. D’ Von whips Dean into the path of Bubba, who hit’s a back body drop on the originator of the Simon System. Masters tries to attack Bubba, but D’ Von intercepts, and pulls The Masterpiece down by the hair, then stomps on his chest.

Matt Hardy drags Kanyon into the ring, and the match officially gets under way, with the referee signalling for the bell, as the Dudleys go to their corner, as do Masters and Dean while Version One throws a number of rights at Kanyon, but Kanyon smartly nails a kick to the midsection, slowing Hardy down. Chris Kanyonthen tries to work on the shoulder, but Hardy fights back, taking Kanyon into the corner. He goes for a whip to the opposite corner, but Kanyon reverses. He then charges at Matt, but Hardy leapfrogs him, and nails a drop toe hold, followed by a dropkick, which sends Kanyon to the outside.

Kanyon is irate with this start, and Simon Dean notices this, and tries to calm things down. They talk on the outside, and Hardy decides to take advantage and hit’s a baseball slide to both men, with Simon getting the brunt of the slide. Kanyon is now even angrier.

The angry Kanyon immediately gets back in, but is met with a number of stiff kicks to the body from Hardy. V1 bounces off the ropes, and dropkicks Kanyon, followed by another. He then goes for a bulldog, but Kanyon counters, and throws him into the corner. Kanyon then goes for a German suplex, but Hardy rolls through, and tags in D’ Von.

D’ Von knocks down Kanyon with a right hand, then knocks Simon off the apron, before elbowing Masters off too. He hit’s a front slam on Kanyon, and tags in Bubba. Meanwhile, Dean and Masters are being restrained on the apron by the referee, and this allows the Dudley Boys to hit the WASSSSUPPP!!!!! Kanyon rolls around in agony from the move, and tries to tag out, but Bubba drags him back to the centre of the ring, then drops an elbow.

Bubba then picks Kanyon up, and whips him to the corner, and connects with a big splash. Kanyon staggers out, and is met with a right hand from Bubba, and another, and another, and a fourth, before Bubba starts jiving, and dances a little before hitting an elbow, knocking Kanyon back down.

The Dudley picks Kanyon up, and goes for a suplex, but Kanyon holds onto a rope, stopping the move. Bubba then breaks, and is met with a rake to the eyes by Kanyon, who quickly tags out to The Masterpiece.

Chris Masters enters the ring, and knocks Bubba down with a clothesline, before bouncing off the ropes, and dropping a knee. He then chokes Bubba Dudley on the ground, and eventually breaks, before dragging him to the corner, and tagging in Simon Dean.

Dean pounds Bubba in the corner, then goes for a ten punch, but after six, Bubba moves, and flapjacks Dean into the top turnbuckle. Simon staggers around the ring, as does Bubba. Bubba looks to make it to his corner, but Kanyon and Masters stop him, hitting a double chop block, taking him down.

This infuriates D’ Von and Hardy, who try to intervene, but are held back by the referee. Meanwhile, Simon is helped up by Masters and Kanyon, and he soon takes control on Dudley once again. He hit’s a few elbows to the back, then picks Bubba up, and goes for a Belly to Belly, but Bubba headbutts his way out of the equation, and Dean staggers, and gets knocked down by a clothesline from Bubba, who looks to be firing up.

Simon then attempts to get away from Bubba Ray, crawling through the man’s legs, but Bubba grabs Simon’s trousers, and Dean goes nowhere. He pulls the smaller man back, then drops an elbow, before once again getting him into the ring. Bubba whips Simon into the corner, then hit’s a clothesline to him, making Simon stagger out, and Bubba follows up with a full nelson slam, knocking Simon to the mat. He then bounces off the ropes, and goes for a leg drop, but Dean rolls out of the way, and then looks at Bubba, who is grabbing his leg, and starts laughing. He points at Bubba, then looks to the crowd, who boo him, then he shouts out “YEAH!!” Simon kicks Bubba in the back, then bounces off the ropes, and hit’s a short dropkick to the face of the seated opponent. Simon then starts to get cocky, slapping Bubba, but as he tries to slap him a third time, Bubba catches the arm, and twists it, making Dean yell out in agony.

Bubba gets back up, and whips him off the ropes, hitting a Samoan Drop on Dean. Bubba finally makes a tag, this time to his brother, D’ Von. D’ Von enters, all guns blazing, knocking Simon down, and again, before hitting Kanyon with a clothesline, but Masters comes from behind, and knocks down D’ Von. This leads for Hardy to get involved, and he takes down Masters with a running clothesline. Hardy pounds on The Masterpiece, but Kanyon pulls him off by the hair, and the match has officially broken down into a six man brawl.

Bubba takes Dean to the outside, whilst D’ Von brawls with Masters, and Kanyon dominates Hardy.

Kanyon throws Matt to the outside, then the two men brawl into the crowd, leaving the other four men in and around ringside. Masters goes at it with D’ Von, and Simon goes at it with Bubba. Bubba and Simon get back in the ring, and immediately the System Success kick Bubba out of the ring and assault D’ Von. They hit a double suplex on him and then Simon pushes Masters hard, and they mimic the Dudley’s.

Simon Dean:
“CHRIS!!!”

Chris Masters:
“WHAT!!!”

Simon Dean:
“GET THE TABLES!!!”

This gets a very unpleasant reaction from the crowd, as they boo the duo. Chris goes to the outside and grabs a table, but he is stopped on the way back by Bubba who tackles Masters to the ground. This distracts Dean who looks to the outside, giving D’ Von the chance to attack him. He hit’s a dropkick on Dean and then pounds him in the corner. Bubba gets back in and they hit the Dudley Device on Simon Dean. Bubba then sees The Masterpiece trying to re enter and hit’s a Bubba bomb on him, and he squirms to the outside again. Now the Dudley’s do their trademark saying when Bubba shoves his brother,

Bubba:
“D’ VON!!!”

D’ Von:
“WHAT!!!”

Bubba:
“GET THE TABLES!!!!!”

This gets a huge response from the crowd as they chant, “We want tables!!”. They get a table and carry it into the ring. The Dudley’s then go for the 3D on Dean, but Chris Masters pulls the leg of Bubba as he bounces off the rope, and Simon counters on D’ Von into a reverse DDT. He then picks D‘ Von back up, and hit’s a release Northern Lights. Dean then nails a variation of the T-Bone on Bubba as he gets back in. Simon then attempts to hits another T-Bone to D’ Von through the table, but as he hit’s the move, Bubba frantically moves the table out of the way.

Masters then re enters and goes for a clothesline on Bubba, but misses. Bubba hits his combination of punches on Masters, and knocks down Simon in between as he tries to intervene. Bubba then picks up Simon, and goes for the Bubba bomb through the table, but this time, Masters makes the save with a boot to Bubba, before throwing him out of the ring.

The System Success then take advantage of the man advantage, and hit a flapjack on D’ Von, sending him through the table, causing D’ Von to be eliminated!!!

Eliminated - D’ Von Dudley - Flapjack through table

The System Success celebrate the elimination, as D’ Von is brought to the back by officials, looking woozy after going through the table.

Bubba is left fighting in a two on one scenario, with Hardy still in the crowd brawling with Kanyon. He has the momentum at first, knocking both men down with consecutive right hands, but as he sets up Dean for a power bomb, Masters hits Bubba with a forearm to the back. Masters then stomps the grounded Dudley, then along with Dean, whips him off the ropes, and the hit a double back body drop. Masters then exit’s the ring, and grabs a table from under the ring, and carries it into the ring. Meanwhile, Dean chokes Bubba with his foot, in the corner, keeping Bubba down. Masters sits the table in the corner, then helps out Simon attack Bubba. The System Success then go to whips Bubba through the table, but as they whip him, but Bubba reverses, and sends Dean and Masters to the table, BUT, upon impact, the table doesn’t break. Bubba then charges at the two men, but both move, and Bubba Dudley runs right through the wood!!! BUT, he IS NOT eliminated, as Dean and Masters didn’t put him through it, and he ran through himself. Bubba though, looks to be out of it, and his opponents take advantage. Simon rolls outside, and gets another table, whilst in the ring, Masters executes a side suplex on Bubba, wearing him down further.

Simon sets the table upright, and calls Masters to bring Bubba over, towards the table. The Masterpiece drags Bubba over, but Bubba starts to fight back, pounding him with right hands, but Simon makes the save, hitting a knee to the back of Dudley. Masters and Dean then signal for another Flapjack, but as they whips Bubba off the ropes, MATT HARDY COMES BACK, and pushes the table out of the way. The System Success hit the flapjack, but the table has been moved. Dean runs at Matt, but Matt moves, and Dean runs into the turnbuckle, then staggers out, walking into a Side Effect. Masters then attacks Hardy from behind, and goes for the Masterlock, but Matt nails a low blow, then goes for the Twist of Fate, but stops, as he sees Kanyon come back, and lets go of the move, before dropkicking Kanyon back off the apron.

As Matt turns back around though, Masters meets him with a jawbreaker, knocking Hardy down. Bubba then tackles Masters into the corner, and beats on him with right hands, whilst Dean sets up the table again, and grabs his Simon System bag. Bubba doesn’t realise, and as he turns around after knocking Masters down, is met with a shot from the heavy bag, knocking him down. Kanyon then gets back in, and hit’s a reverse DDT on Matt, before picking up Bubba, and slamming him through the table with a Grand Kanyon!!!

Eliminated - Bubba Ray Dudley - Grand Kanyon through table

This leaves Matt Hardy to fight the odds, of all three opponents. He doesn’t realise this as he gets back to his feet. He then sees Bubba being helped to the back by officials, and sees his three opponents bearing down on him. Matt looks worried for a moment, then decides to show no fear, and goes for all three men.

Hardy tees off on all three men, knocking down Kanyon, then Dean, but as he tries to knock down Masters, Masters scores with a knee to the gut. Dean then comes in with a bulldog.

Simon orders Kanyon to get a table, which he does. In the ring, The System Success stomp on Matt in the corner. Kanyon sets the table up, and then rolls out, and grabs a chair from ringside, bringing it into the ring. He tells Simon and Masters to hold Hardy up, so he can hit him with a chair. The System Success drag Hardy to his feet, and Kanyon runs at him, but Hardy struggles out, and Kanyon nails BOTH of his partners!!! Kanyon sees The System Success fall to the outside, then looks around, and runs at Hardy with the chair again, but again Matt moves, and the chair bounces off the ropes, and bounces back into his face!!! Kanyon staggers, and is hit with a Twist of Fate!!! Matt then goes to the outside, with the chair, and throws it at Simon, who catches the chair, but Hardy then dropkicks it into his face, knocking Simon over the barrier.

Matt then drags Masters back into the ring, and whips him into Kanyon, knocking Kanyon out of the ring. Hardy then hit’s a drop toe hold on Masters, then sets him on the table. Hardy quickly jumps up top, and then yells out to the fans “VEEEEEEEEEEEE ONEEEEEEEEEE AHHHHHH!!!!!” before jumping off, and landing with the leg drop from the top, onto Masters, sending him through the table!!!

Eliminated - Chris Masters - Top Rope Leg Drop through table

Hardy takes a few moments to recover, grabbing his leg, whilst officials pull Masters out of the ring, and now it is two on one. Dean enters the ring, and drops an elbow on Matt, then yells for Kanyon to get back in. Dean relentlessly stomps on Hardy, desperate to keep him down. Kanyon crawls back in, but is ordered back out by Simon, telling him to get a table. Kanyon takes in a few deep breaths, before exiting the ring again, and grabs yet another table. Dean executes a atomic drop on V1, as Kanyon brings the table back in. He and Simon set the table up, and this gives Matt time to recover, and as Kanyon moves toward him, Hardy steams out from the corner with an explosive clothesline, then as Simon runs at him, Hardy hits an arm drag, and Simon rolls outside.

Hardy then bounces Kanyon off the ropes, but as he hit’s the ropes, Dean pulls him out. Hardy isn’t pleased, and bounces off the ropes, then hit’s a Suicide dive to both men, knocking them down.

All three men are down, but Matt is boosted by the support of the fans, who begin a Lets go Hardy chant. Matt gets to his feet, and whips Dean into the steel steps, then quickly, Version One sets up a table on the outside. He bounces Kanyon’s head off the steps, then sets him on the table. Hardy then gets onto the apron, and looks to go for an elbow through the table, but as he runs across the apron, Simon pushes Kanyon off the table, but ends up on it himself, and Hardy lands with the elbow, on Simon, sending him through, eliminating him!!!

Eliminated - Simon Dean - Elbow off the apron through table

Kanyon immediately gets on Hardy, as we are now down to a one on one situation. He nails V1 with a German suplex onto the unprotecting mats, folding Matt up like an accordion.

Kanyon yells out to the crowd “Who betta!!!”, which they reply to with “Matt Hardy”. This infuriates Kanyon, who stomps on Matt, then hit’s an atomic drop onto the barrier, leaving Hardy in desperate pain.

Kanyon takes the moment to set a table up on the outside, whilst Matt feels the pain of the previous move. Kanyon then pounds on Matt, then pulls him down from the barrier, and sets him up for a power bomb through the table, but Hardy fights out, and forces Kanyon to let him down again. Matt then goes for a Twist of Fate on Kanyon, but then, SIMON DEAN AND CHRIS MASTERS RETURN!!! The System Success - both already eliminated - attack Hardy, just as he was on the verge of victory. Masters and Dean hit a double suplex on Matt, then help up Kanyon. The three men beat down Matt, but then, THE DUDLEY BOYZ RUN IN!!!! Bubba and D’ Von make the save for Matt, attacking The System Success.

The two tag team fight it out in the ring, whilst Matt fights back on Kanyon outside the ring. Bubba hit’s a sidewalk slam on Masters, and D’ Von hit’s a DDT on Simon, before the two men once again make their patented call…

Bubba:
“D’ VON!!!”

D’ Von:
“WHAT!!!”

Bubba:
“GET THE TABLES!!!!!”

D’ Von goes outside, and gets two tables, sliding both into the ring. Masters tries to fight them, but gets tied up in the ropes by Bubba, leaving Simon in a world of trouble. They knock him back down, then D’ Von lifts him up, giving him to Bubba, who is sitting on the top rope. Bubba then power bombs Dean through one of the tables. They then point to Masters, who is still breaking free from the ropes, with the crowd crying out for the 3D. Eventually, Masters gets free from the ropes, but runs into the path of D’ Von, and Bubba runs off the ropes, and they execute the 3D through a table!!!!!!

The Dudleyz then celebrate again to a huge pop, and on the outside, Matt has a table set up, and gets Kanyon on the apron, and signals to the Dudleyz before nailing a Twist of Fate on Kanyon from the apron through the table!!!!!

Eliminated - Kanyon - Twist of Fate from apron through table

Winners: Matt Hardy & The Dudley Boys

The trio of winners celebrate the win, whilst the three losers don’t move, after all of them have been tabled, Simon and Masters twice.

We see the arrival of Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar to the arena, with both looking supremely confident…

Paul Heyman:
This is it Brock, this, is OUR night. Tonight, you can shut Chris Jericho’s mouth for good, and I, Paul Heyman, can take my rightful place as Smackdown’s General Manager. And when I do, I promise, the board are gonna love me so much, they wont want Bret to ever come back.

Brock Lesnar:
I have a good feeling about this night Paul. I have a very good feeling about this night.

Paul Heyman:
Oh, it will be. And once I get my foot in the door as Smackdown General Manager, I will be making a hell of a lot of changes.

Heyman and Lesnar smile to each other, as if they have a plan set, then walk on through the hallway…

In the Smackdown locker room, we see Eric Bischoff and Matt Morgan standing alongside each other, chatting…

Eric Bischoff:
You know how long I’ve had to wait to get my foot back in the door to be GM Matt??

Morgan shrugs his shoulders.

Eric Bischoff:
Nearly 18 months. March 15th 2004, I was fired as Raw General Manager, and I’ve had to sit on the sidelines, whilst Bret Hart and Mick Foley have been able to ruin this entire company, with their ego-maniacal decisions. They have ruined the work I put into this company when I was made the Raw GM three years ago. Surely, the board are gonna realise the downturn this company has taken since I was fired.

Matt Morgan:
I would say the jobs yours Eric…but I guess Paul Heyman has a shot too.

Eric looks at Morgan as if he just insulted him

Eric Bischoff:
I beg your pardon?? The same Paul Heyman who hosted garbage wrestling in bingo halls?? The same Paul Heyman who bounced more checks that Michael Jordan has bounced basketballs?? The same Paul Heyman who couldn’t keep a tiny little promotion a float?? Matt, in eight weeks, Paul Heyman would have this company going down like a submarine. The board would need to be insane to pick him ahead of me.

Matt Morgan:
Well, word is, you two are neck and neck…

Eric Bischoff:
Don’t believe everything you hear Matt, because I don’t. I believe in rational decisions, and a rational decision, is for ME to become the Smackdown interim General Manager.

Eric then straightens up his jacket, preparing himself for later tonight.

**Cheesy Japanese Music** Akio enters the arena, to little reception, accompanied by his partner Sakoda. The CW #1 Contender walks down the ramp, looking focused for the upcoming match

Tony Chimel:
The following contest, is scheduled for one fall, and is for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship!!! Introducing first, the challenger, weighing 204 pounds, AKIO!!!

Michael Cole:
Ten days ago, Akio became the Number One Contender for the Cruiserweight Championship, one week after defeating the champion in a tag match, London’s first defeat since before WrestleMania. To say this man is on a roll would be an understatement.

Tazz:
And, Akio has been vastly underrated coming into this match Cole. Believe you and me, he is a genuine threat to Paul London’s impressive title reign, prepare for a shock Cole.

**Stay in the Shadow by Finger Eleven hits, and the CW Champion enters to a major ovation**

Tony Chimel:
And his opponent, weighing 204 pounds, he is the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, PAULLLLL LONNNNNNDONNNNNN!!!!!

Michael Cole:
Folks, sit back and watch as we can expect a heck of a match, from the Cruiserweight Division, exclusive to Smackdown!!!

Tazz:
It’s on Cole!!!

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match:

Paul London vs. Akio
w/Sakoda

London hands the title belt to the referee, Brian Hebner, and circles around the ring, as does Akio. They lock up, with Akio getting a headlock. London pushes Akio off the ropes, and knocks him down with a shoulder block. Paul bounces off the ropes, and runs at Akio, but Akio nips up, and takes London with an arm drag. Akio then bounces off the ropes, but London nips up, and hit’s a dropkick on the challenger. He gets an early cover, 1...2...Kick Out.

London then bounces off the ropes again, but Akio meets him with a farewell, grounding the champion. Akio then drops a leg, and gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out from the champion. Akio goes for a chin lock, but London kicks him away, then goes for a kick, but Akio grabs the leg, which is countered by London, who strikes the challenger with an enziguri, and a cover, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

He then picks Akio up, and whips him off the ropes, but Akio ducks as he comes back, then takes down London with a beautiful spinning heel kick. Akio then poses to the crowd, getting a lot of heat. He drags London to his feet, and whips him off the ropes, and goes for a tilt the world, but London counters, with a number of revolutions, before hitting a head scissors on the challenger!! Akio staggers around the ring, and London gets a victory roll, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

Both men jump up, and bounce off the ropes, with London first ducking a clothesline, then Akio leapfrogging a leg sweep, then Akio hit’s a swinging neck breaker, taking the champion down.

Akio sits the champion up, then bounces off the ropes, and hit’s a basement dropkick to the back. Akio hooks the leg again, 1...2...Kick Out!!! Akio then applies a headlock, but almost immediately the champion starts to fight to his feet, and elbows free of the hold. London bounces off the ropes, then takes Akio by surprise, saulting over him, and goes for a Sunset Flip. Akio tries to fight it, and shakes his arms wildly, hoping Sakoda can help him, but London gets him over, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

The challenger then runs at London, but London again leaps over him, then connects with a dropsault. The champion then looks to end it early, going up top, looking for either the Shooting Star, or the 450, but as he gets up top, Sakoda jumps on the apron grabbing the leg of the champion. This distracts London, and Akio takes advantage, leaping to the top rope, and he pounds on London, but London fights back, and pushes Akio off the top, then shrugs Sakoda away, before setting himself up, and connecting with the Shooting Star Press!!!!!

Paul London covers for the sure win…

………1………

…2…

……SAKODA PUTS AKIO’S LEG ON THE ROPE!!!!!

London is rightly irate. He hangs over the top, arguing with Sakoda. The referee then steps in, and orders Sakoda to the back. Sakoda argues, but the referee, Brian Hebner tells him again he’s banned. Akio, who is slowly coming back to his senses, sees this, and starts arguing, and calls Sakoda back, but he takes his eyes off London, and the champion takes advantage, getting a school boy on the challenger, 1...2...Kick Out!!! London then puts Akio back down, hitting a German suplex. London points to the top again, getting a good reaction from the fans.

He climbs to the top, but Akio then jumps up, and kicks the ropes, and London straddles himself. The challenger then gets to the top rope, and hit’s a beautiful hurricanrana on the Champion!!! The crowd gives a good reaction to the move, and Akio takes charge, getting a cover on London, 1...2...Kick Out!!! Akio cant believe it!!! He then drags London up, and whips London into the turnbuckle, chest first, then follows up with a leg lariat to the back. London looks to be in trouble, and Akio then gets a crucifix pin on the champion, 1...2...Kick Out again!!!

Akio appears to have the momentum at this point, and he drags London up again, and sets him up on the top rope. The challenger then gets up top himself, and goes for his finisher (Top Rope Fame Asser), but London fights it, and pushes Akio off the top, with the challenger landing against the barricade. The champion takes a moment to recover, and then stands on the top rope, and hit’s a moonsault onto Akio, who is standing below. The crowd is getting more into the match, as the two men put their lives at stake in this match.

The referee reaches the count of 6, before London manages to get up, and break it. He rolls out again, and goes for another Hurricanrana on Akio, but Akio counters, and rams London into the ringpost, then power bombs him onto the mats on the outside, which is met with a sickening groan from the fans.

Akio rolls London back into the ring, and gets a cover…

Akio keeps the pressure on, and hit’s a spinning leg drop, 1...2...Kick Out!!! The champions title reign looks to be in jeopardy at this point, with London on the end of a beat down. Akio then drags London to the corner, then runs at him for a handspring elbow, but London moves out of the way, and Akio hit’s the turnbuckle. London then connects with a tornado DDT, and gets another cover,

……AKIO GETS A LEG ON THE ROPE!!!!!

London runs his fingers through his hair in amazement. He then knocks Akio down again with a short clothesline, before going to the top rope again, but again, the challenger doesn’t give London a chance up top, and meets him there. The two cruiserweights struggle up top, but Akio rakes the eyes to get control. He then sets London up, and NAILS A GUTBUSTER FROM THE TOP ROPE!!!!!

London squirms around the ring in agony, grabbing his ribcage. Akio takes a second, then pulls London back, and hooks the leg…

WWE Tag Team Championships Match:

America’s Most Wanted vs. William Regal & Lance Storm

The two teams come face to face in the centre of the ring, with Lance and Regal waving the Canadian and British flags, whilst AMW then grab an American Flag from the crowd, and parade it in the face of the opponents. Regal and Lance are irate, and attack the champions. Regal takes Harris to the outside, and Lance Storm starts off with his namesake, James Storm. Lance has the early advantage after jumping before the bell. Eventually, Cowboy fights back, and Lance backs off a little. They trade punches back and forth, with James Storm, the bigger man, getting the best of the situation. Meanwhile, Regal and Harris have been separated, and both are back on the apron. Cowboy pummels the opponent in the corner and then stands on the middle rope and hit’s the ten punch with the crowd counting with him. Then Regal runs across the apron and pulls James Storm down by the hair, and he straddles on the top rope. Lance takes advantage with a slam, and tags in Regal.

Regal takes him to the corner and chops Storm to a big WOOO. He chops him three more times to the same response. Regal then picks him up and hit’s a suplex. He gets a cover, 1...2...KICK OUT! William then picks him up again, but Storm ducks the punch, and hits one of his own, before scoring with an arm drag on the opponent. He tags in Chris Harris to a decent pop. Harris hit’s a clothesline on Regal, and then spots Storm coming in, and hit’s a dropkick on the Canadian, sending him to the floor. He hit’s a dropkick on Regal and then hit’s a knee drop. He tags Storm and they hit a double suplex. Both then dropkick Regal, but Lance Storm comes in from behind and hit’s a double clothesline. He is warned by the referee, and banished to the apron. William then hit’s the double arm suplex on the Cowboy. He tags his partner and they begin to double team Storm. Lance then hit’s a side suplex and begins to work on the back of James Storm. He tags Regal back in, who lands some perfect elbows to the point of the back. Regal then takes Storm to the ropes, and places him in the middle rope, before bouncing off the ropes, and hitting a knee to the back. James Storm clutches his back, and Regal tags Lance back in.

Storm beats on Cowboy in the corner with kicks and stomps. He then goes to whip him off the ropes, but James Storm reverses and puts Lance down with a knee to the gut, followed by a neck breaker.James Storm then fires up with a number of quick clotheslines to the Canadian, then bounces off the ropes, but Regal sneakily drives the knee into his back as he comes off the ropes, and Lance follows up with a Fisherman suplex. He gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out!! Lance then drags the Cowboy to the corner and tags in William. They then double team him with a double suplex, and Regal gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out!!

Regal then goes for a double arm suplex, but Storm fights out, and punches at Regal, then hit’s an inverted atomic drop, followed by a drop toe hold. He then goes to make a tag, but Lance runs in and hits him with a clothesline to the back of the head. Harris then tries to get in, but the referee holds him back. The challengers then take the opportunity for some more double team moves, with a double clothesline, a double wheelbarrow suplex, and Storm holding up James for William to pound at. Regal then tags out. Lance then pounds on James with forearms to the back, and applies a chin lock.
James Storm soon fights back up, but Lance then drives his knee into the mid section and hit’s a neckbreaker, followed by an elbow. 1...2...Kick Out. Lance then talks some trash to the Wildcat, and knocks down Storm with a clothesline. He makes the cover, 1...2...Broken by Harris!! Harris has seen enough!! He pounds away at Lance, but then the referee steps in and takes the Wildcat to the other corner to get him back out. Meanwhile, Regal and Storm take advantage by hitting a double sidewalk slam. William then stays in, without making a tag, gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out from James Storm!!
James Storm digs deep, and starts to fire out right hands at Regal in an attempt to get back into it, but just as he looks to be getting the upper hand, Storm pulls him down by the hair. Regal, looking worse for wear, then tags out and Lance comes in with a cross body from the top rope, but the Cowboy rolls through, and gets the cover on Lance, 1...2...Kick Out!! Lance then jumps up, and runs at Storm, but the Cowboy counters into a dropkick. He then crawls for a tag, but William Regal then distracts the referee and he misses the tag being made.
Chris Harris doesn’t know this, and looks to get some offence on Lance, but he is restrained by the ref and brought back to the apron. He is absolutely irate, and tells the referee to keep an eye on the match.

The challengers once again take advantage and double team, with a catapult backbreaker move at the ropes, then make a tag. Regal hit’s a German suplex, then gets another cover, 1...2...Broken by Harris again!!! He then talks some smack to Wildcat, and he looks to get in the ring, but is again stopped by the referee, giving the challengers the chance to take advantage, by pulling Storm into the corner and choking him. James then starts to fire up and swings wild rights, hitting Lance, William, Lance, William, Lance, William. He then tries to get across the ring to his partner, but the challengers grab a leg each, and stop him, dragging him back to their corner. Storm then hit’s a firemans carry, and tags in his partner again. For some reason, Regal decides to go up top, but James Storm kicks the ropes, and Regal straddles. The Cowboy then dropkicks Lance off the apron, and jumps to the top rope, and hits Regal with a hurricanrana!!!

Both men are down, and the referee begins to count, with Harris getting the crowd into the match, trying to help his partner, stomping his foot on the canvas, with the crowd following…1.….2.….3.….4.….5.….(Storm then starts to recover, and gets to his feet, but Regal holds his leg again. The Cowboy then jumps trying to keep his balance, and then connects with an Enziguri) James Storm then crawls……and TAGS IN CHRIS HARRIS!!!!!!

Harris, the fresh man, cleans house and batters the challengers with a number of clotheslines. He then hit’s a Spinning Heel Kick on Regal, and back body drops Lance out of the ring. He then hits the Full Nelson slam, but as he looks to his partner, Lance nails him with an elbow. Lance Storm goes at it with the Wildcat, but Harris is still fresh and overpowers Lance. He hit’s a bulldog, and follows up with a leg drop. He gets a count, 1...2...KICK OUT!! Harris drags Lance to his feet, but Lance then pushes Harris into the path of Regal, who nails him with the Power of the Punch (Brass Knucks), but the referee doesn’t see it!!!!!

James Storm sees it, and re enters to make the save for his partner. He knocks down Regal and then hit’s a DDT on Lance. He then hit’s a top rope elbow on Regal, and gets a cover,

…1…

…………2…………

…Lance Storm breaks up the count!!!

Lance then goes for a DDT, but James Storm hits him in the gut, and he lets go, backing off, then is knocked down, as The Cowboy connects with a reverse elbow on him, 1...2...Regal breaks up the count. He goes to the outside with the Cowboy, leaving the woozy Chris Harris and Lance Storm in the ring.

Lance looks to have it easy, with Harris still not recovered from the power of the punch earlier. Storm stomps him in the corner, then whips him off the ropes, and connects with a spinning heel kick and gets a cover, but the referee realises that he isn’t the legal man. Lance is irate and goes to the outside. He helps William beat up James Storm, and then tells Regal to get in the ring. He gets in and goes for a cover, but Harris takes him by surprise, and cradles him,

……………………………

…KICK OUT!!!

Both Storm’s get back in and James takes control. He hit’s a double clothesline, and then sets up Regal for the Pumphandle Slam, but Lance pulls his partner out of the ring. The crowd are irate. The Cowboy then follows to the outside, and takes on both, but the challengers overpower him.

They bring him back in, but Harris, who appears to have recovered a little then gets involved. He brawls with Lance, while Regal and Cowboy go at it. The referee watches as James and Regal go at it, while Harris nails the Catatonic. He gets a cover, but the referee isn’t watching. Regal distracts the ref, and low blows The Cowboy. He throws James out of the ring and then attacks Harris. Chris takes him though, and backs him into the corner. Lance now gets back to his feet, and attacks Wildcat from behind. He hit’s a chop block, and applies the Maple Leaf, to a huge amount of jeers.

Regal then blocks James Storm from saving his partner, and Harris could tap out at any moment. Suddenly, Harris grabs the leg of Lance Storm, and trips him, then breaks the hold. Lance goes for a clothesline, but Harris ducks, then hit’s a backslide, 1...2...KICK OUT!!!

As soon as Harris gets up, he is knocked down by the knee of Regal. James Storm though then comes back in, from the top rope, with a missile dropkick, knocking down Lance. Regal hit’s the Regal stretch neck breaker on Wildcat, and makes a cover,

……

……BROKEN BY JAMES STORM!!!

James Storm pounds down William Regal, whilst Harris recovers. Lance Storm then gets up, and goes for James, but he is intercepted by Chris Harris, who hit’s a Spear, knocking him out of the ring. James Storm whips Regal off the ropes, and AMW hit a double back body drop. They signal to each other, and get in position, and nail the Death Sentence on Regal!!!

Backstage, Steve Romero enters JBL’s locker room…

Steve Romero:
Mr. Layfield, may I have a quick word?

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield:
By all means.

Steve Romero:
JBL, in just a short time from now, you challenge Eddie Guerrero, along with Chris Benoit in the triple threat match, for the United States Championship. We have heard in recent weeks your disdain for both men, how does this affect your mental preparation for tonight’s contest.

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield:
The short answer for your question Steve, is, it doesn’t affect me in the slightest. I have been preparing for this match for weeks, I have wanted this match for weeks. I took it upon myself to represent the United States to rebel against these two glory hogs.

Incase you haven’t realised, THIS, is the Great AMERICAN Bash. An event to celebrate Great Americans, like me. Not an event to showcase international idiots, and yet, when I make a stand, these people, these people here tonight, who claim to be American patriarchs, will cheer a grubby, dirty Mexican, and a smelly, toothless Canadian, in a match, for the UNITED STATES Title.

Folks, take a moment. Close your eyes, and THINK. Think to yourself about the sacrifices I am making, to provide you with the ideal America. Think about the possibility of a Mexican, fighting a Canadian, for the United States Championship, at the Great American Bash…now, grab a bucket, and throw up, because that idea should make you sick!!!

Steve, let me tell you this, tonight, I restore order, and I restore pride, back to the United States Championship, because I guarantee you. Listen again…I GUARANTEE YOU, that I, John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, will become the WWE United States Champion. And later tonight, when I become the Smackdown General Manager, I will make it my duty, to pass a ruling, that the U.S Title will be limited to being fought between AMERICANS, and that, I guarantee.

Grudge Match:

Brock Lesnar
w/ Paul Heyman vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho enters the ring, and smartly keeps away from Lesnar, until the bell rings for the match to start. Lesnar then immediately tries to back Jericho into the corner, but Y2J smartly motions out of the way, as he looks to adopt a stick and move gameplan, to try and keep his leg in good shape.

Brock then tries to corner Jericho again, but Y2J again manoeuvres himself out of the corner, leaving Brock to look stupid. Lesnar then takes a moment to calm, then starts to circle the ring, forcing Jericho to move around, and work his knee a little more. Lesnar then stops, and stands in the middle of the ring, and begins to taunt Jericho. He points to the knee, and then makes a snapping gesture, before laughing. Jericho then quickly walks up to Brock, and SLAPS Brock, which staggers Lesnar a little.

Jericho then bounces off the ropes, but is caught by Lesnar, who scores with a knee to the midsection, and quickly follows up, hitting a vertical suplex. He gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out. Lesnar then picks Jericho up by the hair, and whips him to the corner, but Jericho jumps to the middle, and comes back off with a forearm smash to Brock, knocking him down. Jericho goes for an audacious pin attempt, 1...2...Kick Out by Brock.

Y2J tries to keep the pressure on Brock, needing to keep the advantage, and pushes him to the corner, striking him with hard right hands, then whips him across to the opposite corner, but Lesnar stops himself hitting the corner, then comes back, and nails Jericho with a hard clothesline!!!

Jericho rolls around grabbing his mouth, as Brock stands above him, almost stalking, then kicks Jericho in the head, stamping at his opponent. Lesnar then picks Jericho up by the hair again, and whips him off the ropes, knocking him down with another clothesline. Jericho tries to bounce back up, but fails to do so, and appears to be getting worn down already. The Highlight of the Night tries to pull himself up on the ropes, but is stopped by Brock, who knees him in the back, before whipping him off the ropes, and gets another knock down, this time, with an elbow, straight to the face.

Chris Jericho is taking quite a beating, even at this early stage, as Brock looks to be settling into a groove, beating Y2J down. He drags Jericho to the corner, and connects with some well placed shoulders to the mid section, then backs away, and sizes Jericho up, before running at him in the corner for a high knee to the face, but Jericho moves, and Lesnar hit’s the turnbuckle instead!!! Brock staggers out, and Jericho takes advantage, scoring with a dropkick to the knee, sending Lesnar down. It now appears we have a role reversal, as it is Lesnar who now has the bad knee, and not Jericho!!!

Y2J then begins to stomp on the leg, wearing Brock down, and Brock shows the pain, yelling out, as Jericho relentlessly works down the body part. Y2J then drags Brock to the ropes, and sets Lesnars leg on the middle rope, then jumps up using the ropes, and lands on the damaged leg of Brock. Lesnar clutches his leg in agony, as Jericho repeats the move again, to the same reaction from Brock as before. Now Jericho drags Lesnar out to the middle again, and tries to apply the Walls of Jericho early, but Brock uses his leg power to push Jericho away.

Lesnar then tries to get up, but Jericho gets back at him right away, trying to stomp the leg again, but smartly, The Next Big Thing grabs the ropes, and forces Jericho to back away, much to the chagrin of Y2J.

Lesnar then takes his time getting up, giving himself plenty of recovery time after the short spell on defence from Jericho. Lesnar then motions to Jericho to ‘Come on’, but again, Y2J uses his brain, and tells Brock to bring the fight to him instead. Lesnar then slowly moves to the centre, and puts his hand in the air, challenging Chris to a test of strength, which Jericho accepts.

Y2J cautiously moves into Lesnars path, and links hands with him, and immediately, Lesnar applies the pressure, and brings Jericho to his knees, and puts him in a tremendous amount of pain. Lesnar trash talks, whilst Jericho tries to fight back up against him, but has no luck, as Brock cranks on more force on the test of strength. Jericho though, digs deep, and lifts off one knee, then his other, and starts to fight up to a vertical base, but Brock immediately drives the knee to the sternum, and sends Jericho down again.

Lesnar lets go of the hold, then kicks Jericho in the face again, before running off the ropes, and at Jericho, but Y2J takes Lesnar by surprise, hitting a drop toe hold, sending the 295 Pounder into the middle rope. Y2J gets to his feet, and pumps up the fans, before bouncing off the ropes, and comes back, hitting a knee to the back of Brock.

The force of the move sends Lesnar out of the ring, grabbing his neck as if he is choking. Lesnar tries to shake it off, and climbs back onto the apron, but Jericho then sends him back down with a springboard dropkick!!!

Lesnar looks to be rocked by the onslaught from Jericho, and staggers a little around the ringside area, then as he turns around, Jericho leaps to the top rope, and goes for a cross body, but LESNAR CATCHES HIM!!! Brock then shifts Jericho up onto his shoulders, and delivers an F5 onto the steel ringpost, just like on Smackdown three nights ago!!!!

Jericho SCREAMS out in agony, grabbing the bad knee, as Lesnar now appears to have Jericho exactly where he wants him. Lesnar breaks the referee’s count, before rolling back out, then grabs the grounded Jericho, and drags him along ringside by the bad leg, setting Jericho into more pain. Brock laughs as Jericho shows his pain, and then picks Y2J up, before dropping him, knee first onto the steel steps!!!

Brock then rubs salt into the wounds, and gets into the ring, leaving Jericho on the ground outside the ring. Reluctantly, the referee begins a ten count…

1.….2.….3.….4.….5.….6.…. Jericho reaches the apron, but Lesnar kicks him back off!!! The referee decides not to start another ten count, as Jericho would have been able to get in, had it not been for Brock’s antics. Lesnar is ordered into the corner, as Jericho climbs back onto the apron, and rolls into the ring, clearly not 100% right now.

Chris gets to his feet via the ropes, but doesn’t get a moments rest, as Lesnar immediately goes on the attack, with a chop block to the bad knee, bringing Y2J back down to the mat.

Lesnar stomps The Highlight of the Night mercilessly in the corner, getting some kicks to the knee too. Lesnar then picks Jericho up like a child, and whips him into the corner, before catches him as he bounces back out, and delivering an awesome Belly to Belly!!! Lesnar covers, 1...2...Kick Out!!! Brock then scoops Jericho up again, and holds the lifeless King of the World in his arms before delivering another Belly to Belly.

Lesnar flexes his muscles to a big amount of heat, as he trash talks to the wounded opponent, who tries to use the ropes to get up, but Lesnar cockily kicks his hands away from the ropes, not allowing him up. Brock then drags him up to his feet again, and picks Jericho up for a Fisherman Buster, but holds Y2J in the air, almost like a torture rack, before slowly dropping Jericho to the canvas, to an almighty thud.

Lesnar sits up, and nods at the crowd, who show no appreciation for his attitude, as he leans back, and covers Jericho, 1...2...Kick Out!!! Jericho may be hurt, but he isn’t finished yet. Lesnar smiles, and again, scoops Jericho up to his feet, and whips him hard into the corner, then follows up, by ramming his shoulder to the ribs, which brings out a huge groan from Y2J as the punishment continues, in this one way traffic match.

Lesnar rams his shoulder into Jericho’s sternum again, then whips Jericho across the ring, to the opposite corner. Lesnar again charges at Jericho, but this time, Y2J manages to move out of the way JUST in time, and Lesnar runs into the ringpost!!! Jericho then tries to take advantage, and school boys Brock, 1...2...Kick Out!!! Lesnar quickly kicks out, then jumps up, but is met by a stiff Jericho chop, which knocks him back down.

Lesnar gets up again, but again, the broken down Jericho is able to put him down, again with a chop. Lesnar clutches his chest, then gets up again, albeit slower than before, and sees Jericho going for a spinning heel kick, and manages to duck, just in time, then as Jericho comes back around, he nails a spine buster, which turns the tide back in Lesnars favour!!! He covers Jericho, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

Brock kicks the rope in frustration, then waits as Jericho gets to his feet, then grasps him from behind, and goes for a German Suplex, but Jericho manages to stop it, running backward, ramming Lesnar into the corner. Y2J then tries to get away from the corner, but Lesnar locks the grip again. Jericho then rams Lesnar again, and a third time, eventually managing to break the grip of the Manster. Jericho then runs off the ropes, and ducks an attempted clothesline, before connecting with a standing enziguri!!! Jericho hooks the leg,

……

……BROCK KICKS OUT!!!

Jericho looks at the referee in disbelief, then stops Brock from any recovery time, by charging him into the corner, and then tees off with some big chops to the chest. As Jericho winds up for one more chop, Brock reverses the advantage, kicking the bad right knee of the Highlight of the Night. Jericho then limps away, and basically invites Lesnar to attack him, leaving himself wide open for Brock to attack. Lesnar does so, and connects with a chop block to the knee, sending Jericho down like a sack of potatoes.

Lesnar once again stomps the weakened body part, then rolls outside the ring, and drags Jericho along the apron, before whipping the bad knee against the ringpost, to which Jericho screams out in pain. Lesnar taunts the fallen opponent some more “You like that Chris??” “How about some more??” Lesnar then proceeds, and whips the leg across the post again, and sends Jericho into overdrive of pain.

Lesnar takes his time to re-enter the ring, taking the time to argue with a fan, before stealing the fans drink, and throwing it into the crowd. He then cockily steps back inside, and has his way with the defenceless Jericho, and hit’s a German Suplex, with a bridge for a count, 1...2...KICK OUT!!! Lesnar doesn’t even take into account the kickout, and gets right back on Y2J again. Brock takes Jericho to the corner, and plants some knees to the sternum, before setting the right leg on the middle rope, and singles it out, with some straight kicks to the point of the knee, with Jericho unable to do anything about it. Brock then pulls Jericho out of the corner, and whips him to the opposite side, before running him into the corner again, and quickly follows up with a side suplex. He covers once again, 1...2...Kick Out!!

Lesnar then pulls the leg of Jericho, and applies a simple leg lock, but has Jericho in all kinds of trouble. Y2J bangs on the mat, and the fans respond, cheering on Jericho to suck it up, and fight through the pain. Jericho then summons the energy and finally grabs the bottom rope, which forces Brock to release the hold. Lesnar waits though, until the referee forces him to break at the count of four. He then gets up, and parades around the ring, hands in the air, gaining a ton of heat from the fans.

Lesnar slaps Jericho in the face, and tells Y2J he wont just break his leg, but he’s gonna tear him apart, limb from limb. He slaps Jericho again, BUT, Jericho then slaps Lesnar back, and we see Lesnar stagger backwards a little, then looks enraged. He runs at Jericho, but Y2J moves out of his way, and Brock runs into the corner, then as he comes back out, Jericho scores with the bulldog!!! Quick as a flash, Y2J then hit’s the Lionsault, and CONNECTS!!! He covers Lesnar for what could be a shock overturn…

……

……BROCK KICKS OUT!!!

Jericho cant believe it. He realises that could have been his last chance to get the win as his leg becomes weaker, and weaker from the onslaught in the match. Jericho then tries to find a way of ending the match, and as Lesnar gets up, Jericho hit’s a springboard cross body, but Lesnar catches him, and hit’s a rib breaker. Brock holds onto Jericho, and hits three more devastating rib breakers, before letting Jericho fall to the mat. Every time Jericho begins to get momentum in this match, Lesnar has been able to quickly over turn it every time so far.

Again Lesnar tries to embarrass Y2J, stalking the beaten down opponent, with a huge grin on his face, watching Jericho move around in a bad way. Lesnar gets Jericho from behind, and goes for a German Suplex again, but Jericho counters, and gets a victory roll on Brock,

Both men jump up, but Jericho buckles his knee, and Lesnar right away spots it, and sweeps the leg from Jericho. Brock shouts abuse at the crowd, and is met with some too, but he quickly shrugs it off, and picks Jericho up again. He kicks the leg of Y2J, laughing all the while, then picks Jericho up for the Press Slam, but Jericho shows his tenacity, and wriggles out, then ducks a clothesline, and takes Brock down with a Breakdown!!! Jericho is down, and clutches his knee again… Brock is down… Jericho crawls towards Lesnar, and makes a cover,

……BROCK KICKS OUT!!!

Jericho comes to the realisation that if he had’ve been quicker to cover, this match could have been over. Y2J shakes his head, and tries to put it behind him, and tries to focus on the match, despite the pain his leg is in.

Jericho waits for Lesnar to make it up to his feet, then tries to get a double leg take down, but Lesnar shrugs him off, into the ropes, and as Jericho bounces back, Lesnar hoists him onto his shoulders, and goes for the F5, but Jericho lands on his feet, and takes down Brock!!!

Lesnar tries to wriggle free, but Jericho has a sudden burst of energy, and he manages to get Lesnar over, and……… LOCKS IN THE WALLS OF JERICHO!!!!!

Lesnar is locked in, and covers his face with his hands to hide the anguish on his face. Jericho leans back, but suddenly, Chris Jericho releases the hold!!! Jericho falls to the mat, and it appears he may have buckled his knee again!!! Jericho tries to hobble back up, but again, he cannot support the weight from his leg, and drops to a knee. Brock gets plenty of time to recover, and once he does, he comes after Jericho, who is draped over the ropes on the verge of tears. Lesnar kicks the leg, and Jericho falls like a domino.

Lesnar drags Jericho up, and picks him up onto his shoulder, but in true Jericho fashion, he tries valiantly to fight it, but Lesnar overpowers him, and drops Jericho, knee first onto the top turnbuckle, then gets him in the air again, and this time, hit’s the F5!!!

………1………

……

……FOOT ON THE ROPE!!!!

Lesnar’s smile quickly turns to a look of shock, as Jericho continues to fight through the pain barrier, and refuses to lose to Brock. Fanatix Series Commercial - This Month - “Kurt Angle, Born for Gold”

In the parking lot, a black limo arrives. The driver steps out, and opens the back door. The familiar figure of Linda McMahon then steps out of the vehicle, to a decent pop. As she enters the building, she is met by Christopher Nowinski…

Christopher Nowinski:
Mrs. McMahon, it is a pleasure to meet you again.

Linda McMahon:
Have we met??

Christopher Nowinski:
Of course. I’m Christopher Nowinski, the first ever graduate from Harvard to compete in the WWE, and the next General Manager of Smackdown.

Linda McMahon:
Well, for all I know, you could be a Harvard Graduate, but I’m afraid you WONT be the Interim Smackdown General Manager.

Christopher Nowinski:
But-

Linda McMahon:
Ah, ah, ah. I said no. No, means no.

Linda then walks off, into the arena, leaving Nowinski speechless.

Backstage, Brock Lesnar walks back to the locker room, holding his neck, recovering from the previous match. He opens the door, and bumps into Kurt Angle, who is exiting the room. The two men the stare at the each other…

Brock Lesnar:
Got a problem Kurt??

Kurt Angle:
I couldn’t be better Brock. You see, in a short period of time, I’m gonna become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. Meanwhile, you’ve just bust a gut to beat Chris Jericho, and you’ll get absolutely no reward from it.

Brock Lesnar:
I wouldn’t be so sure Kurt. When Paul E gets announced as interim GM, plans WILL change, its true, its true.

Kurt Angle:
I wouldn’t be so sure Brock. Paul Heyman might not be made the GM, so plans, might not change. That’s damn true.

Brock Lesnar:
We’ll see Kurt, we’ll see.

Angle then walks off, and Lesnar enters the locker room, still clutching his neck.

Eric Bischoff:
Yes, you can make it official later, but you can tell me now, cant you??

WWE United States Championship; Triple Threat Match:

Eddie Guerrero vs. J.B.L vs. Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero make a be-line for each other, getting in each other’s face. JBL notices this, and decides to step out of the ring, and lets Guerrero and Benoit have the ring to themselves. Neither man notices JBL exiting the ring, and begin to trade insults back at one another. Benoit shoves Guerrero in the face, and Eddie comes back, shoving Benoit into the ropes, with Benoit bouncing back, and getting in the face of his long time rival.

Guerrero and Benoit continue to get in the others face, then both realise JBL getting back on the apron, with his toothy grin showing off. They look to each other, with both tilting their head in Layfields direction, before both run to the ropes, and bounce off, with Bradshaw falling back to the floor.

The two men follow JBL to the outside, and team up to take out the big mouthed SOB, whipping him into the steps, head first. Guerrero then picks JBL back up, and rakes the eyes, before hitting a drop toe hold onto the barricade. Now Benoit takes over, and whips Bradshaw into the barricade, chest first.

The two men then get JBL back into the ring, and push him into the corner, and hit a double chop. Benoit then winds his arm up, getting the crowd rising with a “oooooooooooooooooooooo”, before hitting the chop to a cheer. Guerrero then asks Benoit if he can have a go, and Benoit tells him to go ahead. Guerrero then jives a little, before nailing JBL with a chop of his own.

Chris Benoit then steps back in, and tells Guerrero “This is how you do it”, and he sizes the chest of Bradshaw up, before hitting an almightily chop, sending JBL to his knee’s. JBL holds his hands up, begging off, but Benoit grins, and looks to Eddie, who tells JBL “We haven’t even started yet!”

Benoit drags Bradshaw back to his feet, and holds him, allowing Eddie to hit a chop, before Guerrero holds JBL, and Benoit scores with a chop. Both men then take turns chopping JBL, with the crowd counting along with them.

Benoit then hit’s a side suplex on JBL, and goes for a cover, but immediately, Guerrero pulls him off. Benoit gets up, and they go face to face, head to head. Benoit throws a right at Eddie, which is returned from Guerrero, Benoit throws another at Eddie, as does Guerrero in return. The two friends, now momentarily enemies battle it out punch for punch, ending up fighting to the outside, rolling on the ground, beating the crap out of one another.

This helps one person, JBL. Bradshaw recovers from his beating earlier, and begins to watch from the ring, as Guerrero and Benoit throws punches back and forth at one another. JBL claps at both men, who don’t even seem to notice him watching them. Benoit bangs Guerrero’s head off the steps, and Eddie responds by kneeing Benoit in the gut, then ramming him into the ring post, before they start to brawl again. In the ring, JBL exposes one of the turnbuckles, whilst the referee’s attention is diverted. Latino Heat and The Wolverine then get back in, still brawling, with neither man getting any edge. Immediately, JBL cockily exit’s the ring, allowing the other two to continue wearing themselves out.

Guerrero beats Benoit down in the corner, then goes for a Monkey flip on Benoit, but the Wolverine breaks free, then drops an elbow on Eddie, gaining the advantage on the champion.

Chris Benoit then applies a half nelson on Eddie, cranking back, wearing and tearing at the shoulder, damaging the shoulder area of Guerrero. Eddie never looks like tapping, but the damage is being done. Guerrero soon then fights back, and elbows free of the hold, but Benoit puts him right back down with a stiff chop. The Wolverine picks up Guerrero, and whips him across the ring, right into the corner post. Benoit then runs toward Guerrero, but Eddie moves out of the way, and Benoit runs into the corner. Eddie then dropkicks the challenger, and places him on the top rope, then delivers a beautiful hurricanrana on Benoit, followed by a cover, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

Eddie now begins to fire up, and steps it up a gear, nailing a side suplex, and hooking the leg once again, 1...2...Kick Out from Benoit. Eddie now senses that the momentum has shifted towards him, and he begins to stomp on Benoit in the corner, then whips him off the ropes, and hit’s an unexpecting arm breaker to one of the challengers. Guerrero then picks him up again, and hits another arm breaker, then applies an armbar on Benoit.

Benoit looks to be in a considerable amount of pain, and tries to claw to the ropes, but Eddies holds firm, and refuses to let Benoit move. Benoit realises this, and then fights up to his feet, but Eddie still has an arm lock applied on the challenger. Benoit then chops Guerrero, chops again, a third time, fourth and fifth, then the sixth chop, eventually leads to Guerrero releasing the hold.

The Wolverine is then ready to chop again, but Guerrero pokes the eyes of Benoit, typically like Guerrero, lying, cheating and stealing. This gets a decent pop, and Guerrero follows up with a snap suplex. Eddie holds on, and goes for another suplex, perhaps now going for the three amigo’s, but Benoit blocks the second, then hit’s a suplex of his own. He floats into a cover, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

Benoit then picks up Eddie, and clubs his with forearms to the back, but Eddie comes back with a knee, then bounces off the ropes, and leapfrogs Benoit, before jumping to the top rope, but before being able to do anything, Benoit clubs him on the back, then gets on the middle rope himself, and the arena quietens down, as they see Benoit get a grip around the waist of Guerrero, and NAILS A GERMAN SUPLEX OFF THE TOP ROPE!!!!!

JBL now senses he could pick up a victory already, and quickly jumps back into the ring, quickly covering Eddie, for what should be a three…

…BENOIT BREAKS THE COUNT!!!

JBL is furious with Benoit, and chucks him out of the ring, landing hard on the floor, leaving just Eddie and JBL.

Bradshaw picks up the champion, and applies an arm lock, taking advantage of the injured shoulder Guerrero has picked up, then JBL steps through the ropes alone, with Eddie in the ring. JBL then jumps off the apron, and Guerrero’s arm and shoulder gets stretched against the ropes. Eddie bounces back, and falls to the mat, still clutching his arm.

Bradshaw steps back into the ring, and stomps the arm and shoulder of Latino Heat some more, increasing the pain running through Eddies body. JBL then begins to pound his foe, with straight right hands, before being forced off by the referee. JBL then throws his hands up in the air in an early celebration, getting more heat from the fans.

He kicks Eddie in the shoulder, then covers again, 1...2..Kick Out. He nods, then slowly picks Guerrero off the mat, before knocking him down once again with a big right hand. JBL then signals for the end, stretching out his arm for the Clothesline from Hell. He leans against the ropes, awaiting the champion to reach his feet. Eventually, the broken down Guerrero gets up, and right away, Bradshaw runs at him for the Clothesline from Hell, but Eddie ducks, then as JBL comes back around, Eddie meets him with a kick, before going for a suplex, which he connects with. Eddie holds on though, and gets back up, going for the three amigo’s, but as he gets up, he releases, grabbing his troublesome arm, showing signs of distress.

He tries to shake it loose, but as he turns around, JBL meets him with a boot to the shoulder joint. Bradshaw then covers Eddie by standing one foot on him, 1...Kick Out. JBL laughs, as he shows more disrespect to Guerrero. He sees Benoit on the apron, and whips Guerrero into him, knocking the Wolverine back off. Eddie then bounces back off, and is knocked down with another straight right hand from JBL. Bradshaw then sets Guerrero up for a Powerbomb, but before picking him up, pretends to put a cigarette out on Guerrero’s back, then gets him up, but Eddie struggles, and JBL looses his balance and falls back, allowing Eddie to mount him with a barrage of punches. Guerrero then gets up, and fires himself up, backing the woozy Layfield into the corner.

Guerrero lets rip with more right hands, then executes a monkey flip, before jumping to the apron and scoring with a hilo. Guerrero covers, 1…2…KICK OUT!!! Eddie then hit’s a springboard dropkick to Benoit, knocking him off the apron once again. Guerrero then goes for a DDT on JBL, but Bradshaw blocks it, and hit’s a spine buster on Eddie, and immediately hooks the leg, 1…2…KICK OUT!!!

Benoit now re-enters the ring, and fights it out with JBL. JBL staggers back, and Benoit runs at him for a clothesline, but JBL moves, and Benoit hits Eddie, sending Guerrero out of the ring, to the floor. JBL then goes for a boot on Benoit, but The Wolverine ducks, and hit’s a Northern Lights Suplex on JBL, 1…2…KICK OUT!!!

Benoit then picks Bradshaw up, and goes for a German, but JBL elbows free, then hit’s a chop block to the knee of Chris Benoit. JBL smartly stomps at the knee of the Wolverine, after knocking him down with the chop block moments ago. He kicks and stomps at the body part, then tries to pull the leg out of its socket, before dragging Benoit to his feet, and whipping him to the corner. JBL pounds on his opponent, and kicks at the knee, before walking back out, and posing at the fans. Bradshaw then turns back around, and is met by Benoit, who bursts out of the corner, with a HUGE clothesline!!! Chris then grabs the ropes, showing the pain of his knee, then shaking it loose, before bouncing off the ropes, and hitting a neck breaker on JBL.

Chris then whips Layfield off the ropes, but JBL ducks a clothesline, and comes back with another chop block to the already injured knee of Benoit. JBL then sweeps the leg again, bringing Benoit down like a sack of potatoes, before dropping an elbow to the knee, and then JBL grabs the leg, and starts to strut ala Ric Flair, to a big amount of heat, and signals for the Figure Four. JBL goes for it, but Benoit hooks Johns leg, and trips him to the mat, before getting up, and catapulting him into the exposed turnbuckle….which JBL exposed himself!!! JBL then staggers back, busted open, and walks into a Russian leg sweep from the Wolverine. He covers, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

Benoit looks shocked, and gets back up, but as he turns around, he is met with a cross body from Eddie Guerrero, 1...2...KICK OUT!!!! Benoit jumps up, but is met by a backbreaker from Eddie. Guerrero then hit’s a dropkick on the bloody JBL, who then tries to roll out, but Guerrero shakes his head, and wont let JBL leave the ring. Guerrero starts to drag JBL back in, but then, Chris Benoit gets Guerrero from behind, and hit’s a release German Suplex on the champion, having Eddie land almost square on his head!!!

Bradshaw rolls out, but Benoit isn’t having it either, and follows him outside to the ringside area. JBL tries to sucker Benoit, but Benoit doesn’t give him time, and goes on the attack, and the two men brawl around the announce tables, back and forth. Benoit gains the upper hand with a number of chops, but then, both men are taken down, as Guerrero flies from the top rope with a double dropkick, knocking both his challengers down!!!

Guerrero then whips Benoit, shoulder first into the steel steps, before concentrating on Bradshaw. Eddie bounces JBL’s head off the steps, before rolling him back into the ring. Eddie knocks him down with a right hands, then mounts JBL and tees off with more shots, which causes JBL to bleed even more than before. Eddie yells out to the fans, and is met with a big cheer. He once again scales to the top rope, and goes for a cross body, but JBL catches him, and turns the match with a Fall Away Slam!!! JBL then hooks the leg,

Guerrero just pops the shoulder up!!! JBL looks furious at this point. He wants the match over, and will do anything he can. JBL picks the champion up, and goes for a delayed suplex, but Guerrero floats over, and runs JBL into the corner, then rolls him up, 1...2...Kick Out!!!

Eddie then leapfrogs over Bradshaw, but as he bounces back off the ropes, JBL collides with Guerrero, turning him inside out with the Clothesline From Hell!!! JBL shoots his fist up in glory, then bends down to pin, but then, Chris Benoit, grabs him from behind, and hit’s a German Suplex!!! Benoit hangs on, and gets JBL up again, delivering a second, AND HANGS ON AGAIN!! Benoit keeps the grip, and once again delivers a German Suplex. Again, Benoit keeps the grip locked, and gets Bradshaw back to his feet, HITTING A FOURTH GERMAN SUPLEX!!! JBL looks to be out on his feet at this point, as Benoit once again keeps the grip strong, and hits one more German, THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE!!! Benoit lets go, and slowly gets to his feet, and the MCI roars with approval of Benoit, and the Wolverine does his trademark cut throat taunt, before scaling the ropes, and flying through the air, aiming for JBL to hit the Swandive Headbutt, but…GUERRERO PULLS JBL OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!

Benoit eats the canvas!!!! Guerrero saved the championship, pulling his arch enemy out of the way of Benoit!!! Guerrero then quickly takes advantage of the situation and gets a roll up on Benoit,

…………KICK OUT!!!!!!!!!

The crowd rises in shock, and Guerrero sits up, wide eyed, shocked too. He gets up, and doesn’t know what to do, not expecting Benoit to kick out. He attempts to pick Benoit up, but from behind, JBL attacks Eddie. All three men look to be spent at this point, with none of them looking full of energy, expending it all in a fast paced encounter.

JBL kicks Guerrero hard in the corner, then moves to Benoit, kicking him to the floor. Bradshaw then runs at Eddie in the corner, and is successful in ramming him hard, squashing him in the corner. JBL hit’s a sidewalks slam, and covers, 1...2...Kick Out. Bradshaw then pounds the mat in frustration, and starts trash talking Eddie, getting right in his face. JBL gets up, but is knocked down by a Chris Benoit forearm. Benoit then dumps Guerrero out of the ring, leaving just JBL and Benoit again.

Benoit chops JBL in the corner, then whips him to the opposite corner, but JBL reverses the whip, sending Benoit instead. JBL runs at him for a shoulder block, but Benoit moves out of the way, and Layfield runs into the corner. He then staggers out, and Benoit gets a heel trip, before applying the Sharpshooter! JBL tries to break it, but is unsuccessful in doing so, and Benoit locks the submission on Bradshaw!!!

JBL screams out in pain, but when asked if he wants to quit, he replies ‘NO WAY’!!! He then tries to crawl to the ropes, but Benoit’s grip is locked tight, and Bradshaw cant get there. Meanwhile, Eddie gets back on the apron, and Benoit is forced to release the hold, and elbows Guerrero back off the apron. Eddie appears to land awkwardly on his ankle, and he beings to limp around ringside, which Benoit notices. The Wolverine then flies through the ropes at Guerrero for a suicide dive, but Eddie jumps out of the way!!!! BENOIT COLLIDES, HEAD ON WITH THE BARRIER!!!!! Eddie starts to smile, showing he has just suckered Benoit, and begins to jive, getting a raucous pop from the MCI Centre.

Guerrero then gets back in the ring, and pounds down the battered JBL, but the challenger fights back, raking the eye of Guerrero. He then starts to throw merciless right hands at Guerrero, but Eddie stops the beat down, nailing JBL in the nuts with a stiff boot. Guerrero then hit’s a suplex…and hangs on!!! Guerrero now looks to be attempting the three amigo’s, and gets JBL up, and delivers a second, then gets up for the third, but for this one. brings JBL to the top rope!!! JBL tries to fight it, but appears to be exhausted, and Guerrero overcomes the fight, and hit’s the Third suplex…this one being a superplex!!!!!!!!!

Both men are down, and then the crowd begins to go nuts again, as the Wolverine starts to climb the ropes, despite looking worse for wear after just connecting with the barrier not long ago. Benoit flies through the air, and this time DOES connect with JBL, nailing the Headbutt!!! All three men are down, as the crowd comes to it’s feet. The referee is left with no choice but to count all of them out…

………EDDIE BREAKS THE COUNT!!!!!

The crowd is in shock. They all expected the match to be over. Benoit needs the help of the ropes to get to his feet, as does Eddie across from him, whilst JBL has yet to move. Eventually, Benoit and Guerrero get to a vertical base, and look across the ring at one another. Both men nod in respect, and slowly move across to one another. The two men tie up, and grapple around. Benoit goes behind, but Guerrero breaks free, and the two then move away from each other again, both being cagey around the other.

Once again, they lock up. Neither man gets an advantage, with both struggling for supremacy with the other. They continue to grapple around the ring, until JBL recovers and attacks both men, with clubbing forearms to the back. JBL puts The Wolverine down with a DDT, then catches Eddie, who jumps at him, and for the second time in the match, hit’s a Fall Away Slam, this time, to the outside!!!!!

“Holy Shit” is the chant from the fans, as Eddie lays out on the floor in a crumpled mess after the Fall Away Slam. JBL grabs Benoit by the hair, but Benoit pushes him back, scoring with a stiff chop. JBL charges toward Benoit, but the Wolverine grabs the arm, and tries to take down JBL for the crossface, but Bradshaw fights it with everything he has. Benoit refuses to give up though, and continues to try and bring JBL down. JBL then begins to throw wild rights at Benoit in a desperate attempt to break away from him, and after constant pressure, Benoit finally lets go. JBL then goes for the Clothesline from Hell, but Benoit ducks, and then as JBL turns around, Benoit lands with a drop toe hold, then quickly goes for the arm, and grabs it!!! JBL tries to struggle free again, but Benoit has him in a great position, and eventually…LOCKS IN THE CROSSFACE!!!!!!

The crowd goes nuts, as Benoit has JBL right in the centre of the ring, with nowhere at all to go!!! We are on the verge of a new U.S Champion, and the champ might not even be involved in the decision!!!

JBL tries to uses his legs to reach the ropes, but Benoit has the Crossface locked in perfectly!!! JBL CANNOT move at all. He yells out in agony, and desperately, uses his free hand to drag himself towards the ropes, but has no luck in doing so. He then tries to break the grip, by pulling Benoit’s hand away, but again, has no luck in doing so. JBL lifts his hand up, ready to tap, as Benoit cranks back, increasing the pressure on JBL.

JBL’s hand is ready to drop, until…FROG SPLASH ON BENOIT!!!!! Eddie Guerrero has come from nowhere to break the submission!!!! Guerrero saves the championship, and once again, all three men are down. The referee is hesitant to start any count outs, with the match at such a delicate stage, he is ready to count until…JBL BEGINS TO CRAWL TOWARDS BENOIT!!!! Bradshaw slides along, and drapes his arm over Benoit…

………………………………3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winner: John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield - NEW United States Champion

JBL doesn’t move from the spot, despite the match being over. It appears he has used all the energy he has to crawl on top of Benoit!!! Guerrero still hasn’t realised, and looks up, confused as JBL’s music is played in the arena.

JBL is helped to his feet by the referee, and awarded the United States Title. The crimson masked NEW U.S Champion drops down to his knees, realising his accomplishment, hugging the belt.

Guerrero puts his hands over his face in despair, coming to the realisation that his title reign is now over, and JBL has fulfilled his promise.

JBL rolls out, staggering up the ramp, hoisting the belt in the air, and looks back at the ring, with a toothy grin showing once again, whilst Guerrero sits in the corner, still in shock, and Benoit slowly stirs too.

Michael Cole:
I’m still in shock. Eddie Guerrero’s title reign, is over. I never expected the day to come. But the weirdest thing about it, is that it was Guerrero’s Frog Splash which won the match for JBL.

Tazz:
Big up’s, big up’s to JBL, the NEW Champion of the United States. He promised victory, and by hook or crook, he delivered…

A green screen then appears, with the writing “The following preview is to advertise the PPV event, WWE WrestleMania XXII. The event advertised is to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 26th 2006”… (Same preview as the one at JD in this thread)

The preview opens in a dimly lit room. Six men are sat around a table. It’s hard to make out any of these men, but it looks like they are playing poker. One man sits forward, fitting the description of a truck driver…

Trucker:
(Smiles, then speaks confidently) I’ve got three Kings.

Two men then throw their cards to the table, showing they are beaten. A third man then leans forward. He has a beard, and is wearing a dark pair of sunglasses…

Bearded Man:
(Laughs) Ha, FOUR Jacks!!!

The trucker puts his hands to his face in despair. The bearded man then leans forward to pick up the winning’s, until we hear another voice…

Voice:
Ah, ah, ah. Not so fast.

The man then sits forward. He is an old man, in his 60’s maybe.

Elderly Man:
FULL HOUSE!!

The elderly man then looks up the table, as do the other four men, at one man who has yet to speak. Slowly, the mystery man moves into the picture, but the camera cuts to his hands before we see his face.

He sets down a card which shows Hulk Hogan body slamming Andre at WM III, then another of Macho Man reuniting with Miss Elizabeth at WM VII, then he sets down a card of Shawn Michaels celebrating with the Championship at WM XII, before setting down a card of Steve Austin bleeding at WM 13, locked in the Sharpshooter, then finally, he places down a card of John Cena celebrating with the World Championship at this years past Mania. The other players all look flabbergasted, as the mystery man comes into vision…VINCE MC MAHON

Vince McMahon:
They call that hand, WRESTLEMANIA!!!

The other five men then all groan, putting their heads down in disappointment. The WWE Logo then flashes, followed by the WM XXII logo, before the final clip shows Vince throwing the poker chips in the air in celebration, cheering himself shouting “It’s MINE, it’s all MINE!!!”

Back to ringside;

Michael Cole:
Tazz, can you believe it is only nine months until WrestleMania XXII, from the MGM in Las Vegas??

Tazz:
Cole, I’m still trying to get over THIS years WrestleMania…

**HITMAN** Bret Hart enters the arena, to a huge pop. The departing GM walks towards the ring, slapping hands with the fans, and is handed a mic, just before he enters the ring.

Michael Cole:
Time to find out the next GM partner.

Tazz:
I cant wait!!! I know its got to be me!!!

Bret Hart:
Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, Linda McMahon!!!!

**Linda’s music hits, and the CEO enters to a nice reaction. She quickly makes her way to the ring for the announcement**

Linda McMahon:
Thank you Bret. Well, I don’t want to keep everyone waiting too long, because I know there is still a lot to come this evening, so without any further ado, I bring to you all, the Board of Directors choice of Interim Smackdown General Manag-

**EXXXXXTREEEMMMEEE** The familiar ECW music hits, and Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring, with the fans not sure if he is the choice, or if he has just interrupted McMahon

Paul Heyman:
I just wanted to take this moment, to thank you Mrs. McMahon. From the bottom of my heart, I ca-

Linda McMahon:
Sorry Paul, but I haven’t announced anyone as the Smackdown GM yet, so what are you thanking me for??

Heyman takes a moment to think, trying to cover his tracks…

Paul Heyman:
I wanted to errr…thank you, for being…such a fair and impartial judge for choosing the GM, and I’m sure whichever choice you make will be the best for Smackdown.

Linda McMahon:
I know it will be Paul. But please, if I wanted someone to suck up to me…you would be the last person I’d pick. Now, as I was saying -

**I’m Back** Eric Bischoff enters the arena to a ton of heat, and is accompanied by Matt Morgan. He smugly walks towards the ring, looking extremely confident.

Eric Bischoff:
Hold it just a second. Paul, take a hint. Mrs. McMahon doesn’t want a grease ball to be managing the Number One show in the wrestling industry. Not for eight minutes, never mind eight weeks.

Paul Heyman:
I guess that rules you out then huh Eric?

Eric Bischoff:
Oh please. I’m much cleaner than you. Listen, Linda, let me just re-

Linda McMahon:
Linda??

Eric Bischoff:
My mistake. Sorry. Mrs. McMahon. By picking me…you are safeguarding the Smackdown brand. I deliver excitement, hard hitting action, edge of your seat drama. Hell, I beat Raw with Nitro, for god knows how many weeks. With Smackdown?? I would blow Raw outta the water.

Paul Heyman:
Excuse me, but that information… Is quite frankly… bullshit. Deliver excitement?? What’s that to you Eric?? In WCW, that translated as a new member of the n.W.o every week. Hard hitting action?? Eric, the only hard hitting action you produced was with ECW stars you stole from under my nose. And edge of your seat drama?? Please, you call a Nitro main event between Randy Savage and Rowdy Roddy Piper in a geriatrics match edge of your seat?? I call it fall off your seat with laughter!!!

If you want excitement Mrs. McMahon, look no further than Paul Heyman. You want hard hitting action, then I’m your man. And Mrs. McMahon, I invented edge of your seat drama.

Eric Bischoff:
You’re kidding right?? You call setting wooden objects on fire excitement?? You call wrestling in bingo halls edge of the seat?? I’ll te-

Bret Hart:
THAT’S ENOUGH!!! Paul, Eric, SHADDAP!!! If either of you open your mouths again, I’ll kick both your asses.

Linda McMahon:
Thank you Bret. Now, lets get back to business. Finally, I can announce the Interim G-

**Coach’s Playa’s Club** JONATHON COACHMAN enters the arena to the surprise of everybody, considering he is a Raw announcer. He is his normal cocky self, and prances to the ring, with a mic in hand.

Coach:
Never fear…The Coach is here.

Crowd boos

Coach:
You may be wondering, what is a sexy beast like Coach doing in an arena full of people that fell from the ugly tree??

Coach’s sucks chant starts up

Coach:
Well, I am here to save Smackdown!!! That’s right, I’m stepping down from Raw to Smackdown, but hey, some bodies gotta do it right?? Linda, your search is over. I know that The Coach wasn’t in line for the spot, but I’m making myself available. You need me. Smackdown needs the Coach.

Linda McMahon:
Once again, it’s MRS. McMahon. And as-

Eric Bischoff:
Hold on just a second. Coach?? What the hell are you doing here?? YOU worked for me when I was GM on Raw. Get outta here.

Coach:
The Coach DID work for you Eric, but lets face it, when you were GM, I was pulling the strings, not you.

Paul Heyman:
So what your saying Coach, is that basically, Eric ran Raw the same way he ran Nitro?? He just let employees like you run the show?? Just like he let employees like Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan run the show on Nitro??

Coach:
Yeah, you could say that.

Eric Bischoff:
Just shut up Paul.

Linda McMahon:
Would the three of you women just let me speak?? Now, as I w-

Coach:
Yeah, show some manners. Mrs. McMahon deserves respect.

Linda McMahon:
Coach, could you do me a favour??

Coach:
Whatever you want boss lady.

Linda McMahon:
Could you just put your mic down for me. Then, turn around, and…Bret, please show Coach the door…

Bret then grabs Coach by the back of the neck, and throws him over the top rope to the floor. He then waves to the back, and security walk to the ring, and grabs Coach and start to drag him out. Coach goes WITH a fight, trying to break free from the security.

Linda McMahon:
Before I say another word, I just want to warn you Paul, and you Eric, that if I hear ONE word, I’ll fire both of you.

**You look sooooooo good to me** RICO enters to a good pop, but the fans are becoming more bewildered by the people interrupting the segment. He gets into the ring, and is handed a mic

Rico:
Eric, I was just watching in the back, and I have to say…I LOVE YOUR ASS!!!!

Eric stands in shock, whilst Heyman bawls out with laughter, as does Bret, and even Linda smiles.

Rico:
And on behalf of the A.F.A, I want you to try these hot pants, they would look great on you.

Rico hands Eric pink hot pants, then rubs his ass, before turning to Heyman…

Rico:
Ummm umm umm. Mr. Heyman?? Paul, you are almost the total package, but that bald spot?? It’s gotta go. Try this wig.

Rico places a wig on Heyman’s head, and his smile turns to amazement. Then, Ron Simmons runs from the back, and grabs Rico, picking him up onto his shoulder, and carries him back out of the ring. Rico caresses Ron’s head as he drags him up the ramp.

Simmons looks embarrassed to be with Rico, shouting at him “It’s the APA man, not AFA. I drink beer and smoke cigars, I don’t drink wine, and I don’t smoke guys!!! DAMN!!!”

Linda McMahon:
Now that that’s over, hopefully, we can now get to the announcement. Oh, I didn’t ask either of you to take those clothes off. That wig suits you Paul, and Eric, those hot pants are hot.

Both men look around, both embarrassed.

Linda McMahon:
Guys, you know what. I’ve had an idea. I was gonna choose one of you, but instead, I have a better idea. Saying as this is a WRESTLING SHOW, I’m gonna let you two wrestle for the right to be General Manager, that way, we’ll see just who wants it more. Lets make it, No DQ, and instead of pinfalls, the winner will have to throw his opponent over the top rope, and hit the floor for victory.

Bischoff and Heyman both look satisfied, and both take off their jackets, and roll up the sleeves, as the ring empties, and the bell rings, we now have an impromptu match.

Impromptu Match:

(Winner becomes Interim SD GM - Over the top rope match)

Eric Bischoff vs. Paul Heyman

Heyman runs at Eric immediately, and tackles him down with an awful double leg take down. He mounts him, and throws some big right hands, then tries to throw Bischoff over the top rope, but Eric kicks Heyman in the gut, then scores with a perfect karate kick to the leg, bringing Heyman down to his knees. Bischoff then lines up for a kick to the face, but Heyman moves out of the way, and tackles Bischoff down again, and again, mounts him with some right and left hands.

Heyman appears to be worn out already, as he gets back to his feet. Eric has a small cut on his nose as he gets up too. Bischoff throws a punch, which misses by a good distance, and Heyman scores with a low blow. Bischoff then drapes himself over the top rope, and Heyman tries to dump him out again, but Bischoff hangs on for dear life.

Heyman backs off, then walks toward Eric again, but Bischoff kicks him away with a straight back kick to the gut, then tries to throw Paul out of the ring, but Heyman counters, and the momentum throws Eric over the top, to the floor!!!!

Winner: Paul Heyman - SD Interim GM

Heyman drops to his knees as if he just won a World Title, thanking God. Linda and Bret are hysterical on the outside, whilst Bischoff storms up the ramp, embarrassed by the defeat, still showing the cut on his nose.

Bret then enters the ring, and reluctantly shakes the hand of the new GM, whilst Heyman begins to gloat, and starts waving goodbye to Bret, trying to irritate Hart. Heyman then exit’s the ring, jumping for joy over his win.

Backstage, JBL celebrates his victory, still covered in blood, clutching the U.S Title gladly, as if it was a child, to the disgust of the guys in the back.

“Rock Moment” - 2002 - The Rock defeats Hollywood Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania X8.

We then see Kurt Angle walking backstage, warming up for the upcoming match. In the distance, he spots Bret Hart, and jogs towards him…

Kurt Angle:
BRET!!

Bret turns around, and waits for Angle…

Bret Hart:
Hey Kurt. Em, you’re match is up in like a few seconds, shouldn’t you be getting to the ring??

Kurt Angle:
Yeah, I’m on my way now. I had to see off my favourite wrestler of all time though.

Bret Hart:
Bob Backlund’s here??

Kurt Angle:
(Smiles) No, not Bob Backlund. Bret Hart. The Greatest Technical Wrestler EVER.

Bret Hart:
Well, I will be back in eight weeks or so.

Kurt Angle:
I know, I know. Good luck with the surgery yeah??

Bret Hart:
Thanks Kurt.

Angle extends his hand, and Bret shakes with him.

Kurt Angle:
And hopefully, while your gone…you’ll think of giving the fans what they want…a farewell match, against me.

Bret pulls his hand away, and stares at Angle again, who looks dead serious. Tension builds for a few seconds, then Bret starts to smile…

Bret Hart:
Man, I really though you were serious there.

Kurt Angle:
Ha, yeah. Almost had you though.

The two men stare at each other for a few seconds with the atmosphere being a little uncomfortable between them.

Bret Hart:
Okay, listen, my cab is gonna be waiting. I better head off. But Kurt, good luck with the match tonight.

Kurt Angle:
Yeah, thanks Bret. Good luck with the surgery.

Kurt smiles as Bret walks off. Once Bret leaves through the door, Angles smile turns to a scowl, then he mumbles to himself…

Kurt Angle:
I don’t joke Bret. I don’t joke.

#1 Contenders Match; Winner faces WWE Champion at Summer Slam:

Triple H vs. Kurt Angle

The two men both make their way to the centre of the ring, with Mike Chioda standing in between them. Triple H tries to get in the head of Kurt Angle, but Angle totally blows him off, and gestures to HHH to bring it on. Triple H is not happy. He points at Kurt, then turns away, and tries to catch him with a right, but Angle blocks it, and fires one at HHH, then another, and a third, fourth, fifth, and sixth, which in turn, back Triple H into the corner, flurrying with rights, but then, in desperation, the game drives a knee into the sternum of his opponent, and begins to go at Angle with rights of his own, backing the Olympian into the opposite corner, pounding away with right hands, but suddenly, The Gold Medallist begins to fight back. He now fights his way out of the corner, and the two men begin to go shot for shot in the middle of the ring, with the entire crowd going wild for this brawl of a start, totally taken by surprise by both men’s offence in the early going.

Kurt Angle begins to get the best of the fight, but Triple H turns the tide, with a rake to the eyes of Kurt, then gets the first knock down of the match with a big clothesline. He leans against the ropes, catching his breath for a moment, before he picks up Angle and rams him into the corner, and begins to fire some more right hands to the Olympian, then stomps him to the ground, and chokes him, with the referee using the five count for Triple H to let go. He releases the illegal choke, then goes again, breaking on the count of four. Chioda lectures the cerebral assassin, and Triple H gets in the face of the official, before turning back around to Angle, but as he does, Kurt charges out of the corner, and nails HHH with a clothesline, to a huge response.

Triple H gets back up, and is right away met with right hands from Angle, and is all over the place, with Angle eventually knocking Triple H over the top rope, all the way to the floor.

Angle follows him out, and bangs his head off the steel steps, with Triple H staggering around, almost in a daze, and falls all over the announce table, then the timekeepers table, and Angle keeps the pressure on, going to him, but as he turns him around, Triple H scores with a kick to the gut, then quickly rams Angle into the barricade, before rolling him back inside the ring, at the count of six.

Immediately, Triple H, drives his knee into the mid section of Kurt, then hit’s a snap suplex. He goes for a cover, 1...2...Kurt Kicks Out from the first cover of the match. HHH then waits for Kurt to get to his feet, and takes him down with a chop block. Triple H then yanks the leg of The Olympian, drops an elbow onto the knee, and begins to kick at the leg and soon applies a leg lock.

Angle scrambles as Triple H smiles, watching his opponent squirm in agony on the mat. Kurt eventually makes it to the ropes, but it looks like the damage has been done to him already. Triple H tries again to go for a chop block, but Angle sees him coming and moves out of the way, then arm drags The Game down. Triple H bounces back up, but is knocked right back down, with a right hand from Kurt. Again, he jumps up, but this time, Angle bounces off the ropes and nails HHH with a forearm, hit with such velocity that Triple H falls out of the ring.

Kurt follows him out, and bounces Hunter’s head off the steps. He chops Triple H, and he falls down. Then, Kurt goes for a suplex to HHH on the outside, but Hunter blocks it, and suplexes Kurt, with Angle’s knee crashing off the steel steps.

A groan is heard around the arena, as we se replays of Angle’s collision with the steps. Triple H gets to his feet, and drags The Gold Medallist back into the ring. He gets a cover for a sure three count,

1.….

2.….

…….KURT KICKS OUT!!!!!

HHH cant believe it. He argues with the ref saying it was three, and eventually head butts and punches the mat in anger, before pounding on The Olympian continuously before being eventually pulled off by the referee.

Triple H tries to keep calm. He picks up Angle and tries to go for the Pedigree, to finish the match for sure, but Angle breaks free, and cradles HHH, 1...2...KICK OUT!! HHH gets back up immediately, but Angle then goes for a backslide, 1.…2.…ANOTHER KICK OUT!!! Again, Triple H jumps up, but Kurt rolls him up, 1.…2.…KICK OUT AGAIN FROM HHH!!

HHH then gets up, but grabs a rope, meaning that Kurt cant attack. This infuriates the Olympian and the MCI Centre, but Triple H doesn’t care, and laughs at Angle, taunting him.

Eventually, he lets go of the ropes and ties up with Angle, but Kurt backs The Game into the corner, lets go slowly, then attempts a right hand, but HHH ducks out of the way just in time, then clotheslines Angle down as he comes back around. He then drags his opponent into the centre of the ring and going back to work on the injured leg, applies the Figure Four.

Kurt Angle screams out in pain as Triple H cranks the pressure on him. His shoulder’s fall to the mat, 1...2...Kick Out. Soon though, his shoulders fall again, 1...2...Kick Out. Then, Angle has a sudden second wind, and begins to reverse the submission. He turns over Triple H, who immediately screams out in agony. Soon, though, Triple rolls over, putting the pressure on the opponent again. This time, Triple H uses the ropes for leverage, but the referee spots this very soon, and right away, tells Hunter to break the hold. He does so with much grievance and argues with the referee.

Triple H then decides to go back for the knee, and begins to stomp away at it. He drags Angle to the middle of the ring, and drops an elbow to the knee. He then goes for the Figure Four again, but this time, Kurt kicks him away, and HHH goes flying out of the ring.

Angle then limps up to a vertical base again, but gets no rest bite, as HHH takes the opportunity, gets right back into the ring, and hits a swift chop block to the challengers left leg. Angle flops right back down to the mat and clutches his leg. HHH decides to methodically work on the leg this time and wails at the knee of Angle relentlessly. HHH swings his right leg around, trying to stretch it out, and Kurt yells out loud, obviously in pain and the crowd begin to try and get him back in the match with a “Lets go Angle” chant. They seem to spur The Olympian on, as he tries to get back to his feet, and throws some menacing rights at The Game. He gets halfway up, but gets put right back down, and HHH sweeps the leg of Angle, bringing Angle right back to square one. He drags his leg to the corner, and drops his knee onto it. Triple H then tries to tie up Angle’s leg in the ropes, but he resists it. HHH then hit’s a hard elbow onto the leg of The Gold Medal winner again, and he screams out again.

This time, HHH does tie up the leg of the Olympian. He elbows away at it, smiling the whole time, knowing that there is nothing that Kurt can do about it. He kicks, elbows, stomps, punches, at the leg, and even slaps his enemy. Eventually, the referee steps in, and tells HHH that he cant do that, and tells him to break it. Eventually he does, then drops an elbow to the leg again!!!

Triple H drags the body of Kurt Angle to the outside, and whips him, knee first, into the steel steps. He ignores the referee, who is trying to tell him to bring it back inside. HHH then stomps the leg, drops an elbow, and hoists Kurt in the air, before dropping him onto the steps, knee first again.

He rolls him into the ring and gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out. HHH whips Angle off the ropes, but Kurt ducks a clothesline, and comes back with a Belly to Belly!!!

Triple H immediately rolls out, and tries to gather his thoughts on the outside, then gets on the apron, but makes a huge mistake, and allows Kurt to recover from the beating he has took on the leg. After nearly a minute of stalling, Triple H looks to Angle, who then tells HHH “He hits like a *****“. The Game is irate, and gets back in and straight away goes at it with Angle. They start to slug it out, but pretty soon, Kurt gets the best, and begins to wail on The Game with rights. He goes for a whip, but this is reversed by HHH, and Hunter hits Angle with a high knee. He gets the cover, 1...2...Kick Out. Triple H then pounds on the Olympian, and then picks him up, and delivers a gut wrench suplex, 1...2...Kick Out again.

Triple H looks a little angry, then bounces off the ropes and hit’s a knee drop to the opponent, 1...2...Kick Out. Triple H then picks The Olympian up, and goes for a whip, but Kurt reverses, and sends HHH into the ropes, then goes for a suplex, but instead of hitting it, he hangs HHH on the ropes, which gets an “oooooo” from the on looking audience. Angle then sizes up The game, and kicks him square in the face. Kurt then throws a number of rights at The game, and bounces off the ropes, but HHH sidesteps him, and The Gold Medal Winner goes right over the top rope to the floor.

Triple H follows to the outside, and goes for a whip into the steel steps, but Angle reverses the whip, and sends HHH into the steps instead. Angle pounds at the opponent, then rolls him back into the ring. The slug it out, and HHH goes for a kick, but Rock grabs Triple H’s leg, and gets a heel trip with his other leg, before applying the ANKLELOCK!!!!

Triple H clutches his face in agony, then claws across the mat, then stops, and looks like tapping, but summons the energy, and pushes himself up, and crawls, and crawls, and MAKES THE ROPES!!! Kurt is forced to release the hold, and Triple H quickly rolls to the outside for a break. Angle follows, but is suckered by HHH, who drives a knee into the midsection of Angle, and hit’s a DDT onto the steel steps. He thinks its all over, and rolls Kurt back into the ring, and covers,

Triple H shakes his head as if he has just dreamed that Angle kicked out. He hooks the leg again, 1...2...Kick Out from the opponent. He hooks the leg again, 1...2...Kick Out!!! One more time, 1...2...Kick Out from Angle!!!

He picks up the Olympian, but Kurt starts to fire back again, with right hands that rock the Game. Triple H staggers backward, but then catches Angle with a face buster, followed by a spine buster!!! He covers him,

He picks Angle up, and hit’s a side slam, then picks him up again and goes for a quick Pedigree, but Angle counters, and catapults HHH into the turnbuckle, who then bounces out, and walks into the ANGLE SLAM!!! Kurt gets the hook of the leg for the win…

…………TRIPLE H KICKS OUT!!!!!

Kurt Angle’s eyes become WIDE open. The Gold Medallist is in disbelief. He picks up Triple H for a Belly to Belly, but Triple H hit’s a drop toe hold on him, earning some time to rest. After a brief 15 seconds of recovery, The game begins to get himself to a vertical base again, using the ropes. He then drags Angle to the outside, and drops him, ribs first onto the barrier, then bounces his head off the announce table. Now, Angle blocks it, and elbows HHH, and begins to fight back at the Game, and they get back into the ring.

Angle gets the advantage, taking him down with a Fireman’s carry, and wears down The Game, by applying a half nelson. Triple H manoeuvres his feet to the ropes, and wraps his legs around them, forcing Angle to break the sleeper like hold. Triple H gets to his feet, and Angle goes for a German Suplex right away, but Triple H elbows free, ducks a clothesline, and nails a neck breaker onto Angle. He gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out!!! Triple H rolls off, with his head in his hands. He gets back up, then hit’s a wheel barrow suplex, and gets another cover, 1...2...Kick Out again. Triple H now begins to wonder what it will take to keep the Olympian down.

He picks up Angle, and goes for a straight right, but Angle manages to block, and comes back with a fierce chop, rocking HHH, and garnering a WOOOO from the fans. He bounces off the ropes, but Triple H kicks him as he comes back, and goes for a Pedigree, but Angle fights out of it, then takes Triple H down with a German!!! He holds on, and attempts a second, but Triple H blocks it with his foot, and elbows out, then delivers the Pedigree!!!!!!!! The Game gets the cover on the Angle…

……KICK OUT!!!……

HHH shakes his head as if that didn’t just happen, and the fans sit in disbelief too. He looks at the ref, who tells him it was a two count. Triple H’s face starts to shake, and he points at the referee, then starts to yell that this isn’t right. He gets on top of Angle, and begins to relentlessly pound at the head of Kurt Angle, who looks helpless.

Triple H then gets the lifeless Kurt Angle up for a second Pedigree, but Kurt counters with a back body drop. He then pounds HHH into the corner, with right hands. Angle then puts HHH on the top rope and goes for a superplex, but Triple H blocks. He then tries to push the challenger off, but Angle fights back. He then goes for it again, but Triple H, again resists, and then rakes the eyes, out of desperation, and pushes Kurt to the mat. Triple H takes a long time to do anything on the top rope, looking totally uncomfortable up there, ad this shows, as Angle basically nips up, and leaps to the tope rope, executing a Belly to Belly on The Game from the top!!!

Both men are down, and the referee begins another ten count. 1.………2.………3.………4.……… (Angle crawls on top of Triple H) …… (He gets the arm over) ,

……KICK OUT FROM THE GAME!!!!!

Both men, slowly get to their feet with Kurt looking a little fresher of the two. He throws a right hand at The Game, and HHH throws one back. Angle then comes back with another, as does Triple H. The two men continue to slug it out, and Triple H starts to get an upper hand. He blocks a shot from Kurt, then throws two of his own. He then throws another, and Angle falls to one knee. Angle pulls himself up on Hunters tights, but Triple H punches him down again. He throws The Gold Medal winner into the corner and throws another right hand, but this time, it is blocked by the opponent, and Angle starts to fire back, with lefts and rights. He knocks Hunter down, and again, and again. Triple H then runs at him, but Angle catches him for a Belly to Belly, but The Game wriggles free, and hit’s a drop toe hold to Angle, onto the middle turnbuckle.

Triple H watches as Angle drags himself up to his feet. He goes for a clothesline, but Angle out of nowhere nails a German Suplex!!! He then gets a second wind, and gets to his feet right away, to a huge roar, and stalks HHH. Angle gets Triple H up from behind for the Angle slam, but The Game grabs the ropes, and Angle cant finish the move!! The grip is broken, and Triple H quickly hit’s a side suplex, taking Angle right back down!! He then waits for Kurt to get up, and gets him in position for the Pedigree, but Angle quickly counters with a back body drop to the Game. Kurt then stalks The Game again, and gets him in position for a Belly to Belly, but Triple H pushes him away, into the referee. With the referee temporarily out of the picture, Triple H takes advantage, and nails a low blow on Kurt Angle, then delivers a second Pedigree!!! He hooks the leg, and the referee comes to his senses,

…..KURT GETS A FOOT ON THE ROPES!!!!…..

Triple H screams out NO!!!! He cant believe that Kurt Angle wont stay down. Now desperate, he sees Mike Chioda struggling to get to his feet, and lands an elbow on him, keeping the referee down. The Game then grabs Angle, and rams him into the ring post.

Triple H now rolls outside, and gets on his knees looking under the ring for his sledgehammer. He has to go halfway under the ring in search of it, as the crowd, for some reason POPS BIG TIME. The camera then switches to the entrance ramp, and we see STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN jogging down the ramp, and hides himself at the other side of the ring apron!!!!

Triple H doesn’t realise, and pulls out the Sledgehammer. The Game takes it into the ring, and stalks Angle, ready to strike the blow. He lines it up, but as Angle turns around, and HHH swings, Kurt ducks, then as Triple H turns back around, Angle makes an attempt to grab the hammer from him. The Game and The Olympian struggle, but HHH keeps the weapon, kicking Angle down south, sending Angle to his knees.

The Game trash talks, as he sets up Kurt for a hammer to the head, but Kurt then points behind Triple H. The game stops, and looks confused, then slowly turns around, and sees Stone Cold standing across from him, with a broad grin. Triple H is irate, knowing Austin is suspended, and is ready to go for Austin, but then, Angle gives HHH a piece of his own medicine, with a low blow, followed by an ANGLE SLAM!!!

Austin begins the revive the referee, pouring beer over him, whilst Angle pulls down his straps, and LOCKS IN THE ANKLE LOCK!!!

Triple H screams out, locked dead centre of the ring. Austin rolls out, and watches as Triple H desperately tries to reach the ropes, but cant. The Rattlesnake laughs as The game yells out. Austin trash talks from the outside, as Triple H is totally helpless in the ring, and Angle now drags him further back, and applies the Grapevine!!!

Austin waves to Triple H, and starts to walk back up the ramp, grinning broadly, and Triple H finally realises he cant reach the ropes, and reluctantly

TAPS OUT!!!

Winner; And #1 Contender at Summer Slam, KURT ANGLE!!!

Angle has his hand raised in the air, and then goes to each corner in celebration, as Triple H limps up the ramp, in pursuit of Steve Austin.

Michael Cole:
Kurt Angle has just booked himself a WWE Championship Match at Summer Slam, in five weeks time, in San Juan, Puerto Rico!!! Triple H fought, and fought, but eventually, had to tap to the Ankle Lock!!!

Tazz:
But in my opinion, if it wasn’t for the Texas Rattlesnake, we would be watching Triple H celebrating right now. Austin, who shouldn’t even be here, has just scuppered The Games title hopes.

Summer Slam Classic Moment - 1996 - Paul Bearer turns on Undertaker, and sides with Mankind, in the First Ever Boiler Room Brawl Match.

Josh Matthews is standing by with the Interim General Manager, Paul Heyman…

Josh Matthews:
Mr. Heyman, you requested this time??

Paul Heyman:
Thank you Josh. Yes, I did. You see, I’m not taking the role of Interim General Manager as an interim. No. I’m going to be more hands on than Bret Hart has ever been. And I’m gonna prove that on Smackdown this Thursday…in fact, I’m gonna prove it right now. Here’s a little taster of what I have planned for Smackdown in the upcoming weeks…Billy Kidman became the Number One Contender for the Cruiserweight Title tonight didn’t he??

Josh Matthews:
Yes he did.

Paul Heyman:
Excellent. You see, my first plan for Smackdown’s domination, is a series of matches between London and Kidman. A Best of Seven Series, for the Cruiserweight Championship.

And this wont be like any other series of matches, oh no. Every week, you will have a different type of match, from a one on one, to a pick a partner match, strap match, Hell, we’ll even throw in Falls Count Anywhere. Now, if that is just a little taster of what I have in store for Smackdown…what else could I be planning??

Heyman shows off an evil smile, as the camera goes close up, before we fade away…

Backstage, we see Steve Austin leaving the arena, almost in a stroll, without a care in the world. He leaves the arena, then jumps into his pick up truck. Austin then starts the engine, and we see Triple H staggering backstage, coming after Austin. Austin beeps the horn, and waves at Hunter, before driving off, whilst The Game tries to run after the vehicle, to no joy. Austin speeds off, and Triple H goes nuts, kicking a car door and throwing a wooden object through the air in fury.

Backstage, Maria, is standing by with The Rock…

Maria:
Rock, the time is now, and you will face
(Maria forgets who Rock is facing)

The Rock:
Goldberg??

Maria:
Oh yeah. You face Goldberg. Do you think you can beat him for the WWE Championship??

The Rock:
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA!!! Maria?? Have you been drinking alcohol?? Have you been smoking some pot?? The Rock is ALREADY the WWE Champion. This belt, is called the WWE Championship.

Maria:
It is??

The Rock:
No, you’re right. You caught me out. Actually, it’s the Best Blonde Award, for least brain cells…and Maria, tonight is your lucky night. Congratulations. You earned it.

Maria:
Really??

The Rock:
NO!!! Maria, you, are a pretty, pretty lady, and The Rock would have absolutely no problems checking you in the Smackdown hotel…give you the key to room 69, and give you a peek, at the Peoples Package…but Maria, you may be pretty, but you are also, pretty dumb. Now get outta here, and get The Rock an Ice Cream Sandwich!!!

Maria runs off

The Rock:
Now, Goldberg…oh. The Rock almost forgot…FINALLLYYYYY……THE ROCK, HAS COME BAAAACK………TO WASHINGTON DC!!! Now, Goldberg, you have roughly, five minutes before we collide, head on. No looking back, no second chances, and The Rock expects a war, but The Rock expects to be walking out…WWE CHAMPION!!!

Michael Cole:
It is a match we have waited to see for two years, ever since their first meeting at Backlash 2003. The rematch, it’s The Rock - Goldberg II, right here and now.

Tazz:
Rock looks pumped Cole. He looks extremely focused, ready for the challenge

**The ominous music of Goldberg then plays, as we watch Goldberg pace out from his locker room, and through the backstage area, kicking a door, then making his way out to the arena to a huge amount of heat**

Tony Chimel:
And his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing 285 pounds…..GOLLLLDDDDBERRRRGG!!!!!

Michael Cole:
Folks, Goldberg has been on a roll as of late, tearing right through the Smackdown locker room since WrestleMania, including my broadcast colleague beside me.

Tazz:
Damn right Cole. Goldberg is a machine, but don’t think I’ve forgotten about that. One day, I will collide with him again, don’t worry about that, but the question remains, can he beat The Rock for a second time, this time, for the WWE Title.

WWE Championship Match:

The Rock vs. Goldberg

The two men circle the ring, with neither taking their eyes off the other. They move in closer to tie up, but both then back away. The Rock pulls on the ropes to stretch, while Goldberg bounces up and down. They then both quickly go in and tie up. Both men struggle in the centre, but then, Goldberg uses his enormous power advantage, and shoves Rock to the corner. The people’s champion immediately shakes it off, and gets back up, and right away ties up with Goldberg again.

Again, they struggle for advantage, but Goldberg’s power shines through again, and he shoves The Rock to the ground again, but this time, with even more power. Rock wipes his mouth, almost checking to see if he is cut at the mouth, but he isn’t. Goldberg then poses at Rocky, taunting the champion, and getting huge heat from the D.C crowd. Goldberg tells the audience to “Shut up”, and then signals to The Rock for him to get up.

The Rock slowly reaches his feet, and makes his way to the centre of the ring to tie up with Goldberg again. This time, they struggle around the ring for supremacy, but neither getting the advantage. Goldberg then backs Rock into the corner, and slowly breaks the tie up, then suddenly goes for a right hand, but The Rock moves out of the way just in time, making Goldberg look stupid.

Goldberg is furious, as the crowd laughs. He then roars, and runs at The Rock, but Rock hits an arm drag, then another, then a third, then a fourth, and a fifth, with Goldberg then rolling out of the ring in a fit of rage.

This time its Rock who poses in the ring, sniffing the air, and lifting his head in the air, and he gets a huge pop, while this only angers Goldberg more. He paces around the ringside area, and kicks the steps over, then grabs a chair and throws it into the ring, then grabs another and throws it into the ring, then a third and a fourth. One just misses Rock by a fraction, and the referee, Nick Patrick warns Goldberg that he can be disqualified.

Goldberg then walks around the ringside area, trying to get his head together, but The Rock has had enough of waiting, and decides to go after Goldberg. Goldberg doesn’t realise Rock coming after him, and Rock takes him by surprise with a right hand. Goldberg comes back with a right, and the two begin to go punch for punch, but Goldberg has the superior size and power advantage, and soon, he overpowers the slightly smaller man, and soon knocks him down. He then rams The People’s Champ into the ring apron, then into the barrier. He talks smack with some members in the front row, then approaches Rock again, but Rock kicks him away, then comes back with right hands, and bounces Goldberg’s head off the steps, then puts him back in the ring.

Immediately though, Goldberg regains the advantage on The Rock, and clubs the back of The Rock, then goes for a whip, but Rock counters, and hit’s a DDT on Goldberg. Rock gets a cover, 1...2...Kick Out from Goldberg. Rock then picks up Goldberg and brings him over to the corner, and fires off right hands at Goldberg, but once again, Goldberg turns the tables, and drives a knee into the midsection of the Great One, then a thunderous clothesline over the top rope, to the floor. Goldberg is restrained for a moment by the referee, but Goldberg pushes past him easily, then goes after the grounded champion. He kicks him around the ringside area, with Rock yelling out in pain. Goldberg then drags him up the ramp, and goes for a suplex onto the hard steel ramp way, but Rock blocks it, and tees off rights and lefts at Goldberg, then runs at him, but Goldberg meets him with a BELLY TO BELLY ON THE RAMP!!!

Goldberg has a sadistic smile on his face, as Rock writhes in agony, clutching his back. Goldberg then drags The Rock back to the ring, and stomps on his head. He then picks up the Great One, and hoists him up in the air, and delivers a Military Press Slam. He gets a cover on the fallen Rock, 1.….2.….Rock kicks out!!! Goldberg then drops on elbow on the back of The Rock, and covers again, 1...2...Kick Out.

Goldberg then picks up his opponent again, and goes for the Military Press again, but Rock this time rolls through, and rolls up Goldberg, 1...2...Kick Out from Goldberg. The Rock then runs at Goldberg, but Goldberg meets him with a sidewalk slam. He covers, 1.….2.….Kick Out again from Rock!! Goldberg then lies in front of The Rock and talks some smack talk at him, saying that he wont leave the ring on the power of his own legs. He drops another elbow on Rock, and whips him off the ropes, into a Bearhug.

The Rock screams out as Goldberg clenches in the hold. He realises that he cannot afford to stay in the hold too long, and immediately, he tries to break free. He headbutts Goldberg, then bites in, with Goldberg letting go. The Rock bounces off the ropes, but Goldberg once again turns the tables with a knee to the sternum once again.

The Champion drops to one knee, clearly winded, and Goldberg then bounces off the ropes, and knees Rock in the head, knocking him down. Goldberg then picks him up, and hits not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Rib breakers to The Rock, clearly in order to soften him up for the Spear. Goldberg goes for the pinfall, 1...2...Kick Out. The challenger isn’t happy. He tells the referee to count faster next time, then stomps Rock in the corner.

He hoists The Peoples Champion up in the corner, and drives his shoulder into the sternum, and again, and again, and once more. He then whips Rock to the opposite corner, but Rock stops himself from hitting, then comes back out, with a flying forearm to Goldberg. The Rock then picks up Goldberg, but Goldberg puts Rock down again with a clothesline. He picks up the champion, then taunts the crowd, and hit’s a double arm suplex, and floats into a cover, 1...2...Kick Out from Rock!!!

Goldberg picks his opponent up again, and again drives him into the corner, and hits another four shoulder thrusts, then backs off, and goes for one more, but The Rock kicks him away and runs out, but right into a Powerslam from Goldberg!!! The Rock doesn’t seem to be able to muster any amount of offence on Goldberg at the minute.

The challenger then goes for another cover, 1...2...Kick Out. Goldberg punches the mat in frustration. He picks up The Rock and whips him to the corner, then runs at him, but The Rock leapfrogs him, and Goldberg runs into the ring post, and Rock then cradles Goldberg,

The two men slug it out in the middle of the ring, both spent, both hurt, but both want to be the best. Rock gets the best of the slugfest, then bounces off the ropes, but as he comes back, he is met with a flapjack from Goldberg!!!

Goldberg jumps up, but then limps a little, with his ankle still causing him problems. He does his cut throat taunt, then spits at the crowd, before setting himself in the 3 point stance for the Spear. The Rock doesn’t even realise what’s coming, and turns around…with Goldberg coming for the Spear…but Rock somehow moves!!! Goldberg goes shoulder first into the post, then Rock stalks for the Rock Bottom, but Goldberg ducks under, and scores with the SPEAR!!!!!

Goldberg then waits in the corner for almost a minute, as he waits for The Rock to make it to his feet. Goldberg doesn’t want to just beat The Rock, he wants to destroy him!!

He waits, as the groggy champion staggers to his feet, and SCORES WITH ANOTHER SPEAR!!!!! Goldberg then jumps up again, and we all know what’s coming now. He picks The Rock up, and gets the Champion up for the Jackhammer…holding hi up for what seems an eternity…AND SCORES!!!! This is over for sure…Goldberg hooks the leg…

Winner; Goldberg - NEW WWE Champion!!!!!

Michael Cole:
OH-MY-GOD!!!! GOLDBERG HAS DEFEATED THE ROCK!!!!! We have a NEW Champion!!!

Tazz:
I am in shock!!! Goldberg has just made history, and has defeated The Rock, and boy, he made sure of it with two Spears before the Jackhammer.

Goldberg is handed the title, and holds it high in the air to a huge amount of heat. He parades around the ring, with the boos not dying down, and a “Rocky” chant stirring. In the background, The Rock slowly gets to his feet, grabbing his ribs, gasping for air, with Tazz and Cole speculating he may have a broken rib.

The former champion gets up, and walks toward Goldberg standing behind him. The NEW Champion turns around, and the two men go face to face. Rock looks around, then extends his hand, showing his true class. Goldberg then looks around, and thinks about what he should do, then puts his hand out, and is ready to shake, then Goldberg sucker punches Rock, knocking him back down.

Goldberg then stalks The Rock who uses the ropes to get up, and as he turns around, Goldberg nails a shot to the head with the title belt. Rock is now busted wide open. Goldberg doesn’t stop there though. He drops the title belt, then charges at Rock, hitting a Spear with such velocity, that Rock is speared into the corner!!!

Still, Goldberg isn’t finished with him, and pulls him out of the ring. Goldberg then drags The Rock’s battered body to the Spanish Announce Table, signals to the fans, which gets ton of heat, before hitting the Jackhammer through the announce table!!!

Rock is completely out of it now, as Goldberg gets back into the ring, and picks the title back up, hoisting it in the air, to a ton of heat, as the show ends, with a close up of the mangled body of The Peoples Champion…

END OF SHOW
