It would be eazy to counter the crossface into the jackhammer, benoit goes for it and Goldberg doesnt' go down and gives him a knee to the back and hits the jackhammer. That eazy

King: JR, like you say that ones gonna be a slobber knocker!
JR: Well not only is the world title on the line, but we also have three other championships up for grabs, and were kicking things off with the World Tag team championships!!

1st Match: World Tag Team Championships Match:
Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak vs. Sean O’ Haire & Chuck Palumbo
Finish: After a great tag team contest, Palumbo gets a hot tag and takes on both Cade and Jindrak. He hit’s the jungle kick on Jindrak, which is followed by the seanton bomb. The referee doesn’t make the count as O’Haire is the illegal man. Cade takes advantage as the referee orders Sean out of the ring by hitting Palumbo with the title belt for thw three count. The champs retain and quickly go to the back as O’Haire checks on Palumbo.

Terri interviews Kane backstage. She asks him his thoughts on the rumour about Undertaker going to call him out tonight. Kane says Taker better call him out because if Undertaker doesn’t then he will call him out instead. HBK interrupts. He reminds Kane that HBK isn’t going to forget what happened last week, and he better remember not to hunt what he cant kill.
Edge, Christian and Trish arrive

2nd Match:
Steven Richards w/ Victoria vs. Booker T w/ Goldust
Finish: During the match, Goldust and Victoria have a humorous confrontation, leading Goldust to chase her backstage. The match becomes an even affair with Richards giving a good account of himself. Stevens looks set to cheat to win, until for an unknown reason, Teddy Long and Co. run to the ring. Long distracts the referee as O.J and Mack double team Richards. Booker gets the win and then looks at Long and Co. He looks pissed off as he realises they helped him to victory.

Matt and Lita talk backstage. He wishes her luck for her match later vs. Jazz.
Evolutions music hits. All four members make their way to the ring with Orton just lagging behind posing just like last week. He is caught by Flair who then lectures him and orders him to walk in front. HHH takes the mic. He talks about tonight’s main event. He then talks on a one to one basis with Orton. He then says to Orton that maybe in a couple of years time, he will be world champion, but now is not the right time. Orton disagrees. He says he will prove to HHH that he is ready to be a world champion by pinning him tonight. HHH then says that Randy will follow the orders that he has been given, and he will lay down for him tonight. Orton then goes face to face will HHH. He tells him that if he wants the title, he will have to beat him for it. With that, Orton leaves the ring as Evolution are irate.

We return with Coach interviewing the Brotherhood. He announces himself as their official backstage reporter. He asks why they helped Booker T earlier. Long says that Book is a black man living in whiteys world, and that they can help him fulfil his dream of being world champ if he returns to his own world.
Flair, Batista and HHH discuss the situation with Orton. Flair says he will go and talk sense to him.

3rd Match: Hardcore Championship:
Matt Morgan vs. Matt Hardy
Finish: Hardy gives as good as he can but is eventually overpowered by Morgan and he finishes Hardy with a Powerbomb off the top of a ladder in four minutes.

We then go to highlights of last weeks events involving Test and Steiner attacking Sting. This leads to an interview with Test and Steiner. They talk about making Stings WWE stay a very short one.
Booker T is then seen talking to Goldust. They wonder what Long and Co. are up to.
Brotherhood are about to make their way to the ring when Foley tells them that nobody is allowed ringside for the Lita - Jazz match up next. Brotherhood irate.

4th Match: Women’s Championship:
Lita vs. Jazz
Finish: In a fairly average match Lita makes the ropes from the STF. She then hit’s a desperation twist of fate followed by a moonsault for victory.

Dudleyz talk backstage with Maven.
Ric Flair talks with Orton. They talk about tonights match, and eventually Flair persuades Orton to lay down for HHH and let him regain the title.
Edge, Christian and Trish walk to the ring. They immediately call out Y2J. Y2J enters. They have a short verbal altercation, before Jericho runs to the ring and takes on all three. He locks in the walls on Trish before Edge and Christian hit him with a conchairto. Y2J is left a bloody mess as the trio walk out triumphantly.

We return with Jericho being placed on an ambulance as he is waved off by Edge, Christian and Trish.
Flair talks to HHH. He says that he has made Orton see sense.

5th Match:
Test, Steiner and Rhyno vs Dudley Boyz and Maven
Finish: Test hit’s the boot on D’Von but the cover attempt is stopped by Bubba who pulls the referee out of the ring. Test is irate and argues with Bubba. Meanwhile, Sting has ran to the ring and KO’s Test with a steel chair. Steiner then tries to get involved but he too is hit by Sting. Maven makes the cover on Test and the unaware referee makes the three count. Sting celebrates at the top of the ramp.

An irate Mick Foley walks in on the celebrating trio of Edge, Christian and Trish. He tells them that next week the I.C title will be on the line in a steel cage match, Christian vs Jericho.
The Brotherhood approach Booker T. They offer him the chance to join them. A shocked Book just stares a hole through Long. They tell him to think about it and to give them answer next week.
Terri catches up with Sting. He challenges either Test or Steiner to a match next week.

6th Match:
Tommy Dreamer vs Val Venis
Finish: In a five minute nothing match, Val Venis uses a lead pipe on Dreamer when the referee is distracted by Molly to pick up a win.

We cut to Randy Orton in his own dressing room staring at the Heavyweight Title, as JR and King discuss what he may be thinking.

The commercial break ends when we hear Undertakers music hit the arena. He makes the slow, sombre journey to the ring. He then takes the mic and talks about his brother Kane. He talks about how they must end their bitter feud once and for all. Kanes music hits. He goes face to face with Undertaker. He says if Taker wants to end the feud then why not next week on RAW. Undertaker accepts. HBK then surprisingly enters. He has a war of words with Kane and then Undertaker. He says he has business with him too, reminds Taker that he was Tombstoned by him on top of the cell at Backlash. Kane then takes HBK by surprise and chucks him out of the ring. Officials enter, but are unable to break up the fight. HBK gets back in and hits Kane with sweet chin music. Undertaker then hit’s a chokeslam on HBK. Taker stands tall in the middle of the ring as the other two are laid out.

We cut to the Evolution dressing room as HHH jokes around with Flair and Batista. An official then tells him his match is up.

We return with Mick Foley talking to Terri. He announces that HBK will be the special guest referee next week when Undertaker takes on Kane.

Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Randy Orton vs Triple H
Overview: HHH makes his way to the ring, followed by Orton. HHH rests on the top turnbuckle, and claps Orton. The bell rings. HHH smiles while Orton looks unhappy. HHH signals for Orton to lie down. Orton reluctantly does. HHH then readies himself to make the cover. He then goes to the outside and takes the belt. He goes back inside and poses with the belt. He then bends down toward Orton, and is cradled by Orton. He gets the three to retain the title. Orton quickly takes the belt and runs out of the building. HHH goes mad in the ring and tears up the ringside area. He evn pedigrees a cameraman. The show goes off air with HHH yelling, “You’re dead Randy! You’re dead!!!”

I'm glad you liked the end of the show. I wasnt too sure how people would react to the finish, and although so far you are the only person to reply, im pleased you found it enjoyable. Smackdown will be up on Wednesday evening.

Smackdown- April 22nd 2004

Smack down : 22/04/04; Detroit:
Smackdown video plays

Before Michael Cole can welcome us to the show, Mr. Mc Mahon’s music plays. The chairman makes his way to the ring with a broad smile. He enters the ring, and talks about the types of matches he may choose for Judgment Day after Lesnar beats Cena tonight. He talks about possibly a Streetfight, maybe Last Man Standing, or maybe even an I Quit match. John Cena’s music then interrupts and the Doctor of thuganomics makes his way to the ring. He tells Vince that Brock has to beat him first and then guarantees that Lesnar will not be victorious. The two engage in a bitter war of words before Brock Lesnars music hit’s the arena. He talks as he walks to the ring as he argues with Cena. Brock enters the ring and he fights with Cena. Vince quickly gets involved and they proceed to dominate Cena. Austin’s music then hits and he sprints to the ring. But before he can get his hands on McMahon or Lesnar they get out of the ring and leave through the crowd. Austin helps up Cena as we head to a commercial.

1st Match:
Billy Kidman & Jamie Noble vs. Rey Mysterio & Shannon Moore
Finish: A typical cruiserweight match with high paced action comes to an end when Kidman tries to hit Mysterio with the belt but Rey counters and drop toe holds the champ into the ropes, and Shannon does the same with Noble. Rey then hit’s a double 619 and West coast pop to Kidman for the win.

Bret Hart talks with Brock Lesnar and Vince backstage about tonight’s match and how vital it is that Brock wins.
APA interview. They talk about TWGTT. It is announced that they will challenge them at Judgment Day for the titles. They then send a message by telling them that the two big dumb guys are coming for the titles.
Austin sits in his dressing room with a crate of beer. Cena enters. They share a beer and talk about tonight’s match.

2nd Match:
Bradshaw w/ Faarooq vs. Charlie Haas w/ Benjamin
Finish: Bradshaw dominates Haas for a good four to five minutes. He goes for the clothesline from hell when Shelton pulls out Haas. TWGTT then walk out making Bradshaw the winner via Count out.

Goldberg interview. He tells Brock to listen up. He looks into the camera and says tonight when he Jackhammers 350 pounds of the A-Train tonight he wants Brock to realise his fate will be the exact same come Judgment Day.

We return as we see the APA chasing TWGTT out of the arena.
Benoit interview. He talks about last week and wishes Goldberg best of luck but after Judgment day he will be back on the title hunt.

3rd Match:
Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle
Finish: In a hard fought 10 minute encounter, Benoit locks in the crossface and Angle looks ready to tap until Chavo pulls the referee out of the ring. Angle taps but the referee obviously doesn’t see. An enraged Benoit attacks Chavo on the outside. He then re enters and is rolled up by Angle, who in the process grabs the tights to claim the win. He and Chavo then high tail as Benoit is incensed.

The Rock is sitting in his locker room. He pulls out a guitar to the fans delight. He decides to sing a song:
There is one worse team than the Detroit red wings,
What they need is five scorpion kings.
That advice is free,
But someone tell John Cena he cant see me!!”
With that Cena enters the room. The Rock hasn’t seen him yet so Cena now begins to rap:
“Yo Rock what you been taking?
The red wings are twice as good as any movie you’ve been making.
Scorpion King wasn’t tops,
It’ll goes down as one of Americas biggest flops.
You think you’re a legend on the guitar
Well you suck so far.
These people want you on a spaceship to Venus,
Only the gay population want to play with your penis.”
Cena and Rock go head to head as we cut to another commercial

We return with Benoit walking backstage irate with Angle and Chavo.

4th Match:
Goldberg vs. A-Train
Finish: After 3 minutes of an even encounter, Goldberg steps it up a gear and dominates the A-Train. Within two minutes he spears the 350 pounder. They then goes to a camera and shout to Brock, “This ones for you Brock!!”. He then Jackhammers Train and gets the three count. He then points to the camera and shouts “You’re next Brock, you’re next!”

Josh enters Austin’s locker room and asks him for an interview. Austin tells him he can have the interview if he can drink a beer in 30 seconds. Matthews tries but makes a wussy effort. Austin laughs and tells him to get out. He is ready to leave and Austin decides to call him back. He tells him that he is sick of being screwed by McMahon and tonight its Stone Colds turn to mess with Vince McMahon as he has got a match that will make Vince crap himself to death. Josh laughs with Austin, then Austin stops. Josh stops as Austin looks at him seriously. Austin then tells Josh that at Judgment Day, Vince McMahon will get vintage Rattlesnake, and that’s the bottom line… cause Austin 3;16 said so!!
We cut to Vince, who has a rather worried look on his face. It then turns to a smile and then a wicked laugh.
The Rock then goes to Brets office and demands he have a Rock Concert next week for the millions and millions of...of...of all the jabronis who have a pathetic sad life that is in desperation of reviving. Bret likes the idea and says that next week he can have a Rock concert if he wishes. He then reminds Rock that next week Smackdown is in San Jose. Rock rolls his eyes and sighs. He says oh well at least its not Detroit two weeks running! This is followed by a massive boo.
We go to an interview with Brock Lesnar. He says he wasn’t all that impressed by Goldberg’s victory tonight. He then says he would be impressed if he could beat say… the Big Show. He then says that if Goldberg wants to impress him, then he should face Show next week.

We come back with an interview with Hardcore Holly earlier today. He explains why he turned on Zach. He says the WWE is for real athletes and not for circus freaks. He then gives Zach an ultimatum, either leave the WWE or be forced to retire by him.

5th Match:
Kanyon & Eddy Guerrero vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hardcore Holly.
Finish: After about five minutes of decent action, Benoit comes through the crowd and attacks Chavo resulting in a DQ. Angle run down in a bid to help Chavo, but he is cut off by Eddy. Big Show then runs down and choke slams Kanyon to hell. Holly helps Angle and Chavo in a 3 on 2 assault until Gowen takes Hardcore by surprise with a steel chair. Benoit and Guerrero then take over Kurt and Chavo. They stand tall and shake hands.

Backstage, Goldberg is asked by Rue if he heard Brock earlier. He says he did and he doesn’t want to impress Lesnar he wants to scare him. He then says he will face Big Show next week, and he will give him a jackhammer. Bret interrupts. He says the match next week is on, but tonight he wont be sticking around as there is a taxi waiting for him outside. He then tells Goldberg not to come back tonight to interfere, and if he does he can forget the title shot at Judgment Day.
Austin makes his way backstage. He is stopped by Lesnar. They look each other in the eye and Lesnar laughs. He says tonight he plans on putting the first nail in Austin’s coffin.

We return with a preview of next weeks show, Goldberg - Big Show, and also the Rock Concert 3.

Goldberg leaves in his taxi.

Main Event: To determine type of match for McMahon - Austin at Judgment Day.
Brock Lesnar (representing Vince Mc Mahon ) vs.
John Cena (representing Stone Cold Steve Austin )
Finish: After a brilliant 18 minutes of a back and forth wrestling match, Lesnar counters and attempted suplex into an F5. He gets the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Lesnar cants believe it. He goes for another, but Cena fights out and then hits an FU. Lesnar gets his foot on the rope. Meanwhile, the camera cuts backstage where both McMahon and Austin are watching in separate rooms. We come back as the two get back to their feet. Brock shoves Cena into the referee and KO’s the ref. He goes for another F5 but again Cena fights out. He hit’s a belly to belly on Lesnar, and then gets his steel chain. He lines up to hit Brock and as he bounces off the ropes to hit him with the chain, The Rock shows up ringside and trips him. Cena gets back up and goes for The Rock who is standing on the apron. Rock jumps off and distracts Cena long enough for Brock to recover and go to the outside to grab the title belt. He nails Cena in the back of the head with it, and finishes him with an F5. Brock wins. Rock and Lesnar then double team Cena. Austin runs down the ramp and chases both Lesnar and Rock out of the ring. McMahon’s music hits and Vince appears on the ramp. He tells Austin he will not leave him waiting to find out their match. He then says he has thought hard and long over the last week. He knows a brutal match, like a Cage Match or a No holds barred match would favour Austin, so he has had to think of a match which favours him, and he has. He says that at Judgment Day, Austin will face Judge, Jury and Executioner. He smiles as Austin looks puzzled. He then explains, telling Austin that the judge will be special guest referee Bret “Hitman” Hart, the jury will be a number of Lumberjacks as chosen by Vince, and the executioner of course is Vincent Kennedy McMahon!!! Vince has a wicked smile on his face as Cole and Tazz talk about how Austin is fighting insurmountable odds at Judgment Day, and this could well be the end of the Stone Cold era.....

He then takes a mic and he says no matter what the odds may be, writing off Stone Cold is just something you don’t do. They have a war of words before Austin stuns all the security. However, by the time he has done that, Vince has scampered to the stage. Austin is irate and Vince pulls the bird to Austin.

Lesnar interview. He talks about Goldberg not being the only one to take on a big opponent as next week he has demanded to face Rikishi.
Rock prepares for the Rock concert up next.

We return with the Rock making his way to the ring. He talks for a minute or two and then begins his first song;
“ The Rock is unhappy bout being in, Son Jose,
But at least I‘ll gone by the end of the day.
The Great one says Aw shucks,
Cause this place doesn’t rock, no it totally sucks.”

This brings the crowd to boo the Rock until Cena’s music hits to a massive pop. The Rock looks irate as Cena stands at the entrance. Cena then begins to talk;
“ Yo, Yo, Yo, Yo. Rock, you come out and try to diss these fans,
Well I’m the Doctor of Thuganomics and I’m gonna ruin your plans.
Your goin down like a lead balloon,
Judgment Day is comin soon.
I’m all bling bling,
You cant see me, I’M the Scorpion King!!”

Rock: Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. You are NOT the Scorpion King. The Rock, and ONLY the Rock is the Scorpion King. Now, excuse The Rock, he’s got a song to sing.

“ Another Thursday night at The Rock’s show Smackdown,
The Rock looks good for all the women in town,
I could have anyone’s wife,
I am the man….WORDLIFE!!”

Cena: “ Oh, I get it, you’ve ran out of your own catchphrases,
You’re act has gone stale,
But you steal my sayings, you know you’re gonna fail!
He says women fall for him when he’s near,
Please, dont try to fool us, we know youre 100% queer,
I know you’d dress as a little boy to impress Michael Jackson,
The net would be full of the video, more famous than Paris Hilton or Pam Anderson!
Little Blanket better avert his eyes,
Cause Rock and Jacko are helping themselves to each others pies!
One last thing Rock, when I say Just bring it,
I don’t mean it that way you prick,
I’m serious, get off my (points microphone to the crowd who reply…Dick)

Rock: Yeah, you showed a helluva lot of class. Really. Michael Jackson. Very classy. And you people cheered that. The Rock understands. After all, this is the home of the San Jose Sharks. (Boos)

Cena: Yo Rock, if you cant go toe to toe on the microphone,
Maybe you should go back to Hollywood,
And make another crappy movie that aint that good.
Don’t take it out on the people if the Rundown wasn’t well rated,
You’re movie career is gone, its faded.

Rock then challenges Cena to come to the ring. He does and they go punch for punch and Cena takes control, however, Rock hit’s a low blow and then nails Cena with the guitar. He celebrates as Cena is laying in the ring.

We cut backstage where Bret is walking with Vince. An official runs to them and tells them to come quick. They runs to the parking lot where they see Austin speeding away in McMahon’s limo. Both are irate.

5th Match: Cruiserweight Championship:
Billy Kidman vs. Zach Gowen
Finish: In a quick match, Kidman controls the most part. Then, Zach turns the match and looks set to win until Hardcore Holly nails Gowen with a chair shot. Gowen wins by DQ but Holly continues the assault and leaves Zach a bloody mess.

Eddy and Benoit talk backstage. They are approaches by Angle and Chavo. They have a showdown which is broken up by officials.

Main Event:
Goldberg vs. Big Show
Finish: In a short physical match with the contest swaying back and forth, at around the nine minute mark, Show choke slams Goldberg. Bill kicks out at two. Lesnar then makes his way to the ring and sits with the announcers. Big Show attempts another Chokeslam but Goldberg fights out and hit’s a spear from nowhere. Lesnar laughs as Goldberg signals for the Jackhammer. Brock says that he cant do it. Goldberg attempts and somehow manages to nail him with the Jackhammer. Brock stands up and stands in shock as Goldberg makes the cover for the win. Lesnar now looks truly worried as as Goldberg points at the belt with Brock speechless.

End of Show.

P.S. Sorry about Smackdown being up late. The next raw might be also, but I’ll try to get it up as soon as possible.
