AMW are easily your most interesting thing going on SD right now for me. You said a while a go that you would be trying to inject some new life into the tag team division, so I'm watching anything and everything to do with that like a hawk.

Angle/Lesnar should be good too, even though it's a bit bizarre seeing them still wrestling in 2007, lol.

Looking forward to it, mate

Friday Night Smackdown | June 22 2007 | Tulsa OK

Opening Video

Pyro

Joey Styles, rather than Michael Cole, is the first voice heard this evening, with the former voice of ECW welcoming us to Friday Night Smackdown, introducing Tazz … AND Michael Cole alongside him. Styles welcomes back Cole after his walk out during last weeks show, and Tazz makes a joke about his partners strop. Cole is unimpressed, making reference to Styles ‘taking his role’ as the lead voice of Smackdown, but refuses to be pushed out of his job by the two old friends.

During the entrances for the opening contest, the commentators hype tonight’s show - twenty four hours away from Saturday Nights Main Event; King of the Ring Finals night - with a special attraction Smackdown vs. Raw main event of Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle, as a preview ahead of tomorrow nights 8 Man Tag, and also a meeting of two former KOTR winners. They also discuss the promised AMW ‘offer’ to Booker T & Elijah Burke which will be made tonight, and wonder just what it could be.

Match 1:
Brian Kendrick vs. Jamie Noble
* If Kendrick wins; he faces Paul London for U.S Title at Great American Bash*
*If Noble wins; he faces Kendrick for Cruiserweight Title at Great American Bash*
It’s a helluva match to open the show, with Kendrick playing it straight this evening; no stalling, no shenanigans, no ogling of large breasted ladies at ringside. The cruiserweight champion brings his A-Game, and Noble is equal to it. Fresh off a huge (Undertaker assisted) win over JBL last week, Noble appears reinvigorated, and proves to be a match for Kendrick. The early going has near falls aplenty, and the momentum constantly shifts back and forth, as the action is broken up with a commercial break in the middle of the contest.

Commercial Break

As the match wears on, Kendrick - unable to finish the tenacious Noble off - gets more agitated and flustered, and begins to dip into the ‘heel wrestler bag of tricks’, putting his feet on the ropes for leverage on a count; but still only manages a two count. He then uses the tights too for another pin attempt; but again cant finish Noble off. As the finish nears, Kendrick fails to execute Sliced Bread, which allows Noble to eventually attempt the Tiger Bomb … but Kendrick slips out, but lands awkwardly on his ankle, hobbling to the corner instantly.

The official shows concern, approaching Kendrick and asking if he’s okay, with Noble in limbo, looking around the arena, wondering what he can do. He turns away, looking frustrated … as Kendrick shrugs off his ankle ‘injury’ and runs in behind, ramming Noble into the corner post, shoulder first, then immediately follows up with SLICED BREAD!!! He hooks the leg, 1...2...3!!!
Winner: Brian Kendrick @ 15:32

Kendrick books his U.S Title shot at the Great American Bash!! The feigned ankle injury proves to be the difference maker, as Kendrick escapes from the ring - showing clearly NO ankle injury - draping the Cruiserweight Title over his shoulder, and brushing off his other shoulder, as if to imply he’ll soon have the United States title on it.

In the ring, Noble regains wherewithal, and looks out through the ropes as he pulls himself up, seething with rage at being duped. He tries to get up to his feet, and looks like he’ll get out of the ring to confront Kendrick … UNTIL HE GETS BLASTED FROM BEHIND WITH A BIG BOOT … FROM J.B.L!!

Layfield stands over Noble, FUMING, before picking him back up, AND DRILLS NOBLE WITH THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!!! Quickly, Layfield rag dolls his troublesome foe to his feet, dumping him over the top to the floor. JBL then turns his attention to the opposite side of the ring, calling for a mic.

JBL then quickly addresses last weeks loss to Noble, calling it a ‘one in a million’ outcome, before moving onto The Undertaker. The self made millionaire reminds the fans of his call out to the Deadman tomorrow night, stating ‘it’s now or never’, and in an attempt to sweeten the deal, JBL shows his desperation to draw The Phenom from the shadows by announcing that should Taker return, and agree to face JBL at the Great American Bash, he will allow The Deadman to name the stipulation to their match. Layfield wraps up the promo, saying the deck is stacked in Takers favour, and he has no reason NOT to show tomorrow night … unless he truly is afraid of a ‘Wrestling Gawd’.

Backstage, Josh Mathews conducts an interview with MVP, who discusses his loss to Carlito in the King of the Ring tournament last week. Porter mentions the money he’s lost out on; not just by losing last week, but having gotten mixed up with Carlito in the first place. He says deep down, he knows he’s better than Carlito, but has decided that it’s time to move on ‘to bigger and better things’ … but he makes sure to comment that he wont forget the crap he’s had to put up with from Carlito, and one day down the road they’ll meet again.

At ringside, the commentary team discuss last weeks main event which saw Carlito overcome MVP and progress to the Elite Eight of the King of the Ring tournament this weekend, before hyping tonight’s tag match between the four remaining Smackdown competitors in the tournament; The Master Craftsmen vs. Carlito & the reigning U.S Champion, Paul London.

Commercial Break

Match 2:
Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Masters
Short contest, most definitely to be filed under ‘filler’ with Jeff getting the win after narrowly avoiding falling victim to the Masterlock. Jeff slips free before the hold can be applied and grounds the Masterpiece, before delivering the Swanton Bomb for the decisive 1...2...3!!!
Winner: Jeff Hardy @ 05:13
The win for Hardy keeps him in the mix of relevancy, whilst it’s another loss for the seemingly heel jobber, Chris Masters.

Backstage, Edge is seen conversing with a random worker, laughing and joking over something until the worker falls silent … as BATISTA appears, behind Edge, tapping his enemy - and opponent at the Great American Bash - on the shoulder. Edge turns, and quickly backs off, expecting an attack from The Animal. Batista laughs that off though, and says Edge can rest easy - for now - but it’s a matter of time before he DOES get his hands on the Rated R Superstar. Edge blows it off, telling Batista he’s happy to wait until the Great American Bash to collide with The Animal, “when I beat you, on my way to the WWE title.”

Batista smiles again though, and shakes his head, softly replying “who says you‘ll make it that far … after all, we‘ll be in the same ring tomorrow night in the eight man tag.” The Animal then walks on by, letting the threat sit in the air, leaving Edge to ponder, and worry, ahead of tomorrow nights Raw vs. Smackdown 8 Man Tag.

Elsewhere backstage, we see Randy Orton walking … on his way to the ring … NEXT!!

! CELEBRATING TWENTY YEARS OF SUMMERSLAM !
~ 2006 ~

THE WWE’S TWO LEADERS IN THE POST ATTITUDE ERA; JOHN CENA AND RANDY ORTON MEET FOR THE THIRD AND FINAL TIME IN THEIR 18 MONTH LONG ON/OFF FEUD, INSIDE HELL IN A CELL. ON THIS OCCASION, ORTON GETS THE BETTER OF CENA, FINALLY DEFEATING HIS RIVAL IN A BLOODY ENCOUNTER, GETTING THE LAST WORD.

WWE SUMMERSLAM | AUGUST 19 2007 | LONDON, ENGLAND

Back in the arena, Randy Orton makes his entrance, and during his walk to the ring, the commentary team mention the knee injury suffered by Garrison Cade last week at the hands of Brock Lesnar after being left high and dry by Orton, but they don’t mention how long Cade will be out for, merely stating he is at home, convalescing from his injuries, whilst Ken Doane has not been seen all night. In the ring, Orton begins to talk about last week, sending a message to Lesnar, telling the Iron Man that whilst he may have had his way with Cade last week, but at the Great American Bash, he wont get to take the same liberties with Orton. Just as Orton looks set to continue his warning to Lesnar…

**JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES**

The music of the World Heavyweight Champion, Christian, brings the fans to their feet, and raises the ire of Orton, whilst Styles, Cole and Tazz discuss the Raw vs. Smackdown 4 on 4 tag match tomorrow night at Saturday Nights Main Event. Captain Charisma makes his way to the ring, and comes face to face with Orton for the first time since the night after WrestleMania, and immediately Orton references that meeting once Christian enters the ring. The WWE Champion reminds Christian of what he told Orton that night, and turns the tables on Captain Charisma, telling him that the World Heavyweight Champion isn’t welcome on the WWE Champs show, and advises Christian to leave.

Christian though, stands his ground, and tells Orton he is welcome, due to Eric Bischoffs open invite to tonights show to the four men from Raw set to compete in the tag match tomorrow night. Christian then tells Orton if he has a problem with the superior champion stepping onto his patch, then he should “try and do something about it.” Christian further goads Orton, looking to either side of the champion, before remarking that “since your stooges aren‘t around anymore, I guess you wont be taking me up on that offer.”

Orton looks set to snap, but restrains himself, telling Christian he has “bigger fish to fry”, refusing to lower himself into a fight with an inferior champion. But before he can leave the ring…

**HERE COMES THE PAIN**

Brock Lesnar enters the stage, and walks toward the ring, with Orton now caught between Lesnar and Christian, backing up in the ring, whilst Lesnar prowls on the outside, taking a mic, and hopping onto the apron, and into the ring. The #1 Contender addresses both Orton and Christian, telling them the issue of who is the superior champion doesn’t matter, because in two and a half weeks time, he’ll be the WWE Champion, and the superior champion in the WWE.

Christian takes issue with that statement, reminding Lesnar the last time they met it was he that came out on top, NOT Lesnar, before also reminding him that he outlasted Lesnar to win the Royal Rumble earlier this year. Brock laughs those claims off, telling Captain Charisma “that was then … if you want to prove it again … give it your best shot”. The fans react positively to the challenge, with Christian readying himself to go at it with Brock until…

**MEDAL**

Lesnars long time adversary, and opponent tonight KURT ANGLE enters the fray, and with a mic in hand, talks on his way down the aisle, telling the three men in the ring that they can argue all day over who is or isn’t or will be or wont be the superior champion, but there is no argument over who the very best is, - champion or not - and that’s Kurt Angle.

As he gets in the ring, Angle tells the three men that regardless of the argument, it’s a matter of time before he takes the World Title from Christian, but tonight he’s only concerning himself with his match, and advises Lesnar to do the same, otherwise he’ll not be making it to the Great American Bash - not with a broken ankle. Orton smiles at that comment, with Kurt also addressing him, telling the WWE Champion; “I don’t know what you‘re smiling at, you‘re next in the firing line tomorrow night”.

The Iron Man doesn’t take kindly to the threat of a broken ankle, and gets in the face of Angle, telling him to “try it now” … UNTIL ORTON BLINDSIDES LESNAR WITH THE TITLE BELT!!! Suddenly, it’s bedlam, as Angle and Christian also trade blows, whilst Orton stomps Lesnar in the corner!! Orton drags Brock up, with Lesnar now fighting back, as Angle sends Christian into the corner, but misses an attack, with the World Champion moving onto the ropes, and executing the seesaw kick, with Angle staggering out - into the path of Lesnar - BELLY TO BELLY TO ANGLE!!!

Brock gets up, but falls victim to a clothesline from Orton!!! Meanwhile, Christian drags Kurt up, throwing him out of the ring, as Orton sizes Lesnar up … AND GOES FOR THE RKO … BUT LESNAR SHOVES HIM AWAY … into Christian … AND AN UNPRETTIER!!! Christian drops the WWE Champion, and gets to his feet … WALKING RIGHT INTO AN F5 FROM LESNAR!!!

Lesnar drills the World Heavyweight Champion, showing his gratitude for the assist in taking down Orton!!! Lesnar stands tall, as Angle picks himself up on the outside, with Brock offering him the chance to get inside, but Kurt tells him “later” before backing up the aisle, as we head to another commercial.

Commercial Break

Match 3:
The Master Craftsmen vs. Paul London & Carlito
As you’d expect it’s a tremendous match, with four excellent workers in the mix, with the four giving the fans a preview (of sorts) of what to expect tomorrow night in the Quarter Finals of the King of the Ring tournament. Throughout the match, Haas and Albright attempt to single out one of the two opponents, attempting to wear the two men down ahead of their meetings tomorrow night, but London and Carlito are able to fight off the tactics, and keep the momentum shifting back and forth. London though, gets a chance to fly from the top rope … only for Albright (not the legal man) to shove him off, forcing the Golden Boy to crash and burn.

Commercial Break

{/SECOND HOUR}

With that underhanded tactic, the Master Craftsmen finally have the upper hand, and work at London, with the United States Champion playing up to the face in peril role splendidly, being unable to find daylight to make a tag to his tag team partner. At one point, London catches an incoming Haas with the dropsault, and DOES make a tag to Carlito, but the tag goes unnoticed, due to a timely distraction from Brent, and the referee forces the agitated man from the Caribbean back onto the apron. However, the tease is soon followed by London connecting with an enziguri on a cocky Albright … and both men crawl to their respective corners … and BOTH MAKE A TAG!!

Carlito beats Haas to the punch, and busts out some of his exciting agile offence, springing off the ropes, knocking Haas off his feet, before ducking a clothesline attempt from Albright, and dropping his Quarter Final opponent with a back cracker, as London rejoins him, throwing Albright out of the ring, as Carlito pounces on Haas, nailing the Apple Core!!! Carlito gives London the thumbs up … as the United States Champion delivers THE 450 SPLASH on his Quarter Final opponent, with CCC now making the cover, 1...2...3!!!
Winners: Carlito & Paul London @ 15:59
It’s a splendid, feel good win for Carlito and London ahead of tomorrow nights marathon night, where they could potentially meet in the semi finals. The two friends shake hands, and raise each others arm in victory tonight, whilst Albright is forced to help Haas from the ring, and regroup on the outside, pointing to Carlito and London, telling them that it’ll be a different story tomorrow night when they have to fend for themselves.

On commentary, the victory is played up as a huge psychological advantage for CCC and London, with a win tonight over their opponents in the Elite Eight stage tomorrow evening, as Styles proclaims the 2007 King of the Ring tournament to be “anyone‘s for the taking”, believing all eight men have a great chance to be crowned King.

The scene opens with a blonde haired man swimming lengths of a pool. The man reaches the edge, and bursts from the pool, pulling himself up, over and onto the floor. He is met by a beautiful woman, handing him a towel. He dries himself a little, before looking towards the camera, with a smile on his face, handing the towel off to the woman, who continues to dry him off as he talks.

Blonde Man: Hi there. My name is Nick Nemeth. I bet you think you recognise me, I get that a lot.

Nemeth turns, and smiles at the woman, looking toward the sky, with the camera shifting focus, around the poolside arena, the sky, and the scenery in the distance.

Nick Nemeth: Beautiful … aint it??

It seems like Nemeth is referring to the scenery … but as the camera focuses back on him, we see Nemeth is looking into the pool … at his own reflection.

Nick Nemeth: I could just sit here all day …

He snaps out of his daydream, and stands up.

Nick Nemeth: … But I’ve got things to do.

Nick stands still for a moment - waiting - as two different ladies approach, one holding a mirror, and the other hands him a comb. Nemeth walks, combing his hair, looking into the mirror with the first lady carrying the object for him.

Nick Nemeth: Unfortunately, I don’t have all day to sit around and admire my surroundings. I have a public profile to keep. There are a lot of people that I have to see, lots of appearances I have to make. Nick Nemeth … is a man in demand.

He smirks toward the camera, before stopping, as the girl that helped dry him off earlier returns, putting a crisp white shirt on him, as the girl that handed him his comb buttons the shirt up.

Nick Nemeth: And in the very near future, my life is about to get a lot busier.

Nemeth is handed a pair of trousers, going to the trouble of putting them on himself, before looking at the camera once more.

Nick Nemeth: Because I’m coming to Friday Night Smackdown.

Once again, he smiles, before walk by the camera, and down a long path, where he is joined - again - by two of the ladies that served him earlier, each taking an arm, as the video fades…

Backstage, Kristal Marshall interviews Kurt Angle, ahead of his match later with Brock Lesnar, asking Kurt about the altercation earlier this evening, which Kurt brushes off, saying he wouldn’t expect anything less from the likes of Christian and Lesnar. Kristal then asks about tonight’s main event, and Angles storied history with Lesnar, to which Angle responds that he has always been the better of the two; both as an amateur and certainly as a professional too.

He then says tonight’s match isn’t just a chance to take on an old foe, it’s a chance to gain revenge after Brocks actions at Backlash, costing Angle his match with Cena, and also banishing Mr. McMahon from television. But not only that for Angle, it’s a chance to prove to the watching GM, Eric Bischoff that HE should be the #1 Contender on Raw for the World Heavyweight Championship … which appears to be perfect timing for MISTER KENNEDY to enter the equation.

Kennedy interrupts the interview, but doesn’t say anything. Instead, he looks Kurt up and down, before smirking, shaking his head, and walking on by. Angle watches on as Kennedy walks away, before reiterating to Kristal that HE should be #1 Contender - and no one else.

Match 4:
Finlay vs. M.V.P
Hard hitting affair, with Finlay aggressive as always, but MVP is also surprisingly aggressive, letting off steam after his crushing loss to Carlito last week. The action spills to the outside, with both men using the surrounding area to their advantage, before MVP hit’s a drop toe hold onto the steel steps to put Finlay down. He rolls the Irishman back into the ring, and brings the shillelagh with him … and right in front of the official - NAILS FINLAY WITH THE WEAPON!!!
Winner: Via DQ - Finlay @ 05:00
Porter intentionally gets himself disqualified, and in the process has BUSTED Finlay open with the shillelagh shot. Mr. 305 then adds insult to injury, blasting his dazed opponent with a DRIVE BY KICK!!! MVP shouts to the fans “NO MORE PLAYIN”, before getting out of the ring, and storms up the ramp, with a face like thunder, whilst his actions are admonished by Joey Styles on commentary, as we see Finlay being tended to by the official, who motions for help to come from the back.

Backstage, we see Booker T and Elijah Burke, who are heading to the ring, with their offer from Americas Most Wanted due tonight … NEXT.

Back in the arena, Booker T & Elijah Burke make their entrance together, whilst on commentary, both Tazz and Joey Styles agree that Booker & Burke have had AMW’s number, and a rematch is the least they deserve after the champions recent antics to keep the titles … but Michael Cole doesn’t exactly agree, and says Booker & Burke have had enough chances, and all they’ve proven to him is that Burke is a choke artist, and Booker is washed up. This leads to an argument between the three again, with Cole again accusing the old buddies of ‘bullying’, saying he’s sick and tired of it … and gets up, walking off the job for the second straight week!!

Meanwhile, Booker & Burke enter the ring, and get straight to business, calling out AMW, wanting to know what their ‘proposal’ is. The champions, on cue, make their entrance and after a few cheap comments directed at the fans and their rivals, Harris and Storm get to the point - albeit due to Booker growing agitated - and the champions make their proposal; AMW offer Booker T & Elijah Burke one final opportunity at the tag team titles … but if Booker & Burke lose … they must LEAVE the WWE.

Whilst AMW look pleased with themselves, Booker and Burke are both in two minds as to what to do, knowing the underhanded tactics of AMW, and Booker responds, telling Harris and Storm to leave Burke out of the equation, stating Eli has his entire career ahead of him, but agrees to put his own contract on the line - but three conditions; 1) AMW don’t break the rules, 2) They lose the titles if they get counted out or disqualified, 3) If AMW cheat to win, the stipulation of Booker leaving the WWE will be null and void.

After a moment of consultation, AMW respond, negatively by telling Booker he’s not the one calling the shots here; they are. Either Booker T & Elijah Burke accept THEIR TERMS, or they can forget any shot at the tag titles. Booker explains to Burke in the ring (off the mic) that they shouldn’t accept the match, but before they can decline…

**I‘M BACK**

Eric Bischoff intervenes, walking onto the stage, and grills BOTH the champions and the prospective challengers, asking them who they think they are, telling them they don’t make the matches; he does. But Bischoff does give in, after telling both teams who’s in charge, and signs the match; if the challengers lose, Booker T will LEAVE the WWE, but in order for it to happen, AMW have to play by the rules, and defeat Booker and Burke fairly … and it will happen at the Great American Bash.

Backstage now, a group of Smackdown wrestlers are seen in the locker room, discussing the King of the Ring tournament tomorrow night, with some offering their views on their picks to win … as Brian Kendrick enters the room, extremely jovial, talking (to no one in particular) all about himself, and his win over Jamie Noble tonight, stating it’s a matter of time before he holds double gold. He then approaches Jeff Hardy and the Murdochs (with Festus in his comatose state), assuming that they’ve been talking about his win, and parks himself beside Hardy, announcing “I know, I know, it‘s all anyone can talk about. No need to congratulate me though.”

Jeff though, corrects Kendrick, telling him they were actually talking about the King of the Ring tournament tomorrow. Kendrick responds with a chuckle, and tells him “Okay … losers. Why would you want to talk about that?? I‘m not even in it.” He gets up, and shakes his head in disappointment, before speaking again “I‘ll go find more interesting people to talk too. The King of the Ring?? Are you guys for real??”

Kendrick walks away, towards Deuce and Domino, “Yo guys, HIGH FIVE for the next double champ, huh??” … but is left to hang, as the camera fades to ringside…

And, at ringside, Tazz and Styles take the opportunity to shill tomorrow nights three hour event, with the pair offering their predictions for the King of the Ring tournament, as Styles picks Umaga, due to the fact he’s never been beaten, but says if anyone in the draw could pull off the upset, it’s Paul London. Tazz says he cant see anyone BUT Umaga making the finals from Raw, but sticks his neck on the line and predicts Carlito to somehow go all the way and become KOTR.

They then talk about what winning the King of the Ring can do for a career, using Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle as examples … and then move on to talk about that match coming up after the break…

Commercial Break

**VIDEO PACKAGE**

Opening shot of the American Flag waving proudly.

“What makes a GREAT American?”

Clips of Booker T & Elijah Burke high fiving, Paul London celebrating at Judgment Day with the United States title and Brock Lesnar fighting off The New Wave.

“Pride? Honour? Fighting spirit?”

Fade to darkness, then clips of the cocky Brian Kendrick holding the Cruiserweight and United States titles on June 1, Edge screwing Batista out of the WWE title, and Randy Orton punting Nick Dinsmore.

“Or is it Greed? Callousness? Malice?”

Shot of JBL looking cocky, arms spread wide, soaking up heat most likely, before switching to the rugged Batista, shaking the ropes in the ring during a match.

“In todays society, it becomes more and more difficult to decipher just who are the noble, and who are dishonourable by looks alone”

Clip of Americas Most Wanted, decked out in their ring attire containing the American Flag.

“There are those that bring shame to the stars and stripes”

Shot of M.V.P throwing money away, whilst sporting an overload of bling necklaces, and JBL assaulting Jamie Noble.

“There are those that have brought shame to living the American Dream”

Clip of Randy Orton hitting the Hangmans DDT on RVD at Judgment Day, Americas Most Wanted getting in the face of young fans at ringside, and Brian Kendrick strutting.

“Champions with no class, dignity, honour or respect”

Darkness.

“But a true hallmark of ALL Great Americans … is hope”

Euphoric music kicks in, and lots of rapid shots are shown now, of Paul London soaring through the air, Brock Lesnar with an F5 on Garrison Cade, Brian Kendrick running like a scalded dog, Booker & Eli getting the better of AMW … and a flashing image of a dark figure (The Undertaker??) in the distance??

“On July 8, the WWE welcomes ALL Great Americans to gather as one, and HOPE for justice … HOPE for righteousness … HOPE that good overcomes evil … ”

The euphoric music stops, and slow images of the cold Randy Orton, the bitter Edge, the cocky Brian Kendrick, then the toothy grin of JBL.

“HOPE”

Main Event:
Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle
As expected, it’s a contest of the highest quality, with Lesnar and Angle locking up for the first time in nearly two years. It’s a slow start, with the two feeling each other out, trying to outwrestle each other, but it’s a stalemate, with neither man able to get the upper hand in the opening stages. The match soon breaks down, and the tempo picks up, with Angle matching the animalistic Lesnar, and both men trade falls from Belly to Belly suplexes, and German suplexes too, going blow for blow, with both men proving to be equal to the other.

Commercial Break

And after the return, the action picks up to another level, with Angle nearly applying the deadly ankle lock, before Brock escapes, and then nearly catches Kurt with an F5, only for Angle to land behind Brock, and score with an Angle Slam - BUT LESNAR KICKS OUT AT TWO!! Angle attempts a second take at the Angle Slam, but this time, Lesnar avoids it, landing behind Angle, then scoops him up, but again cant nail the F5!! Angle drops out, and LOCKS IN THE ANKLE LOCK!!! Lesnar struggles in the hold, but makes the ropes, surviving once again.

Angle though, is sensing the end, and goes for the Ankle Lock again, but Brock avoids it this time, shrugging Angle off, then side steps him as he charges, with Kurt hitting the corner … AND WALKS RIGHT INTO THE F5!!! Brock hooks the leg, 1...2...KICK OUT!!! Angle survives, with Brock furious, getting back to his feet, waiting for Kurt to get up too. But Lesnar has other problems to worry about now … AS CHRISTIAN CHARGES DOWN THE AISLE LOOKING FOR REVENGE!!!

The World Heavyweight Champion slides into the ring, ducking under a wild clothesline attempt from Lesnar - AND BLASTS BROCK WITH THE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BELT!!!!! Angle, sat in the corner, can only look on, as the official instantly calls for the bell!!!
Winner: Via DQ - Brock Lesnar @ 17:08
Christian stands over Brock, mouthing at him over his F5 earlier … WHEN ANGLE ATTACKS CHRISTIAN!!! Angle knocks Captain Charisma down, livid that the World Champion just cost him a match, and stomps him down … as JOHN CENA is seen limping down the aisle - still selling the effects of the Ultimate Submission match last weekend - looking to put a stop to it …

BUT GETS CLOTHESLINED FROM BEHIND BY EDGE!!! Edge attacks Cena, and kicks Cena down the aisle to ringside, whilst we see MISTER KENNEDY hopping over the barrier and into the ring, shoving Angle out of the way, and putting the boots to Christian. Angle doesn’t take kindly, and shoves Kennedy, with the two rivals now going head to head, shoving back and forth … UNTIL BROCK LESNAR RUNS THROUGH BOTH MEN!!!

Lesnar takes Angle and Kennedy by surprise, knocking both down, before making a beeline for Christian, and hammers the champion on the canvas, before Kennedy AND Angle attack The Iron Man!!! The Raw superstars team up on Lesnar, whilst Edge has the tables turned on him by Cena, who reverses a whip, sending Edge into the steel steps instead!!!

With Lesnar getting beaten down in a 2 on 1 attack; BATISTA charges down the aisle, looking to make the save, and slides into the ring, knocking Kennedy down with a clothesline … AND DRILLS ANGLE WITH A SPINEBUSTER!!!!! The Animal makes an instant impact, and then takes a look to the outside, where Cena is on top of Edge, and contemplates making a save for his enemy - but tag partner tomorrow - but before he can decide, Christian, from behind, NAILS Batista with a reverse DDT!!!!!

On the aisle now, we see the WWE Champion slowly making his way down to ringside, and watches as Lesnar gets to his feet, blocking a right hand from Kennedy, and throwing the 2006 King of the Ring to the outside, before catching an incoming Christian with a Belly to Belly!!! Lesnar now stalks Angle, willing the Olympian up … AS ORTON NOW SLIDES INTO THE RING … SPINS LESNAR AROUND … RKO!!!!!

Orton drops Lesnar, and immediately slithers out of the ring, having just stabbed his team mates in the back, walking out … leaving Edge, Batista and Lesnar to fight four guys!!! Cena is seen dropping Edge with an FU on the outside, whilst Kennedy re enters the ring, applying a Krossface on Batista … as Angle applies the Ankle Lock on the defenceless Lesnar, whilst Christian picks himself up, and looks out of the ring, up the ramp at Orton, who coldly watches his fellow Smackdown team mates take a beating, as we fade to black…

The way you've built Umaga, I just think he's going to steamroll everyone. I can see a potential DQ loss for him, but you've built him stronger than pretty much anyone in any BTB and given him every accolade necessary to push him to the moon - more like Saturn or some distant planet at this point - and I'll be genuinely surprised if he doesn't add KOTR to that list of honors. I look forward to seeing him in the little crown and cape.

Yes. Not too sure but I'll say Last Man Standing.

Christian will pin Edge.

5) What match will open the show?? (2 points)

Carlito/Albright.
