Re: Being the booker

RAW&SmackDownproduction; WWE Survivor Series:
14th November 2004; Chicago, Illinois;

The WWE Symbol flashes across the screen, and the opening video plays, it has Bret Hart sitting in a dark dressing room alone, head down. We then hear him speak…

Bret: 7 Years……7 years I’ve had to wait, for this night.
(Picture goes black and white as we are shown images from Montreal ’97. Bret talks over this)
Bret: All my years, as a loyal servant, all the sacrifices I made for you, carrying your company, on MY back. That was the thanks I got?
(Pictures are shown of HBK, Steve Austin, The Rock and Triple H. Bret talks over it, like before)
Bret: You found new stars, new guys to carry the load. I was just the old horse, the traditionalist who never GOT attitude, who never bought the bullshit.
(Pictures go back to Survivor Series ‘97 again)
Bret: I decided to leave, decided to take my traditionalism that just didn’t cut it anymore……and you hated that. You said you did what you had to do. You tried to make ME the bad guy, the guy in the wrong. You know it, I know it, everyone in that arena, and around the world knew it……YOU screwed ME. I wouldn’t the job, I wouldn’t lay down in my back yard, BIG DEAL!! You couldn’t trust me to give you my word, that I would hand the belt over, I gave you my word I would hand it over, then again, that didn’t mean ratings, did it?? Screwing me over did though, didn’t it??
(Pictures of epic moments in the Attitude era such as Austin winning the title for the first time, Higher power storyline, Vince vs. Austin, Foley flying off the cell. )
Bret: You re-built an empire out of ME!! By screwing me, you won ratings, you made more money than you could have ever dreamed, I hope you WERE happy, because from tonight, you’re FINISHED!!
Try to hold back my pent up fury, try to buy you’re way out of my anger, for your seven years of glory, I have had seven years of misery.
TONIGHT, MY SEVEN YEARS OF BAD LUCK ENDS……you’re lifetime of regret……begins……

And now, X-Box presents, a Raw AND Smackdown production, WWE Survivor Series!!!

J.R: Welcome everybody to WWE Survivor Series!! Tonight four Championships are on the line, two traditional Survivor Series Matches will happen, AND that’s not all. Tonight, Bret The Hitman Hart will take on Mr. McMahon, in a match that no one could have ever predicted to happen, seven years in the making, the history is there, the bad blood is there, and we are ready for an action packed ride.

King: And J.R, you couldn’t have put it better. Look at that, the Elimination Chamber. Now, any other night, an Elimination Chamber match would be the most talked about match, but tonight Hart and McMahon take centre stage, to proportions that can’t be described!! Lets send it down to Michael Cole and Tazz…

Cole: Thanks King, what a night it will be Tazz!

Tazz: No doubt Cole, no doubt!! Elimination Chamber, Triple Threat, 10 man tags, No Dq, Championships and of course, Hart vs. McMahon.

Cole: Just the mention of that match Tazz sends shivers down the spine. Can you imagine just how much this match means to both men?

Tazz: Like King said Cole, the magnitude of this match is so huge, that it cant be measured. For Bret, it’s a chance of vindication of seven years of bad luck, bigger than any championship he has ever won, and for McMahon, it’s about causing pain. If he wins, not only can he say he beat Hart, but it’s likely to mean that Bret hart would be so embarrassed he may never come back.

Cole: That, still to come later tonight, but up first, it’s a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, Smackdown style!!!

Survivor Series Elimination Match:

Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Faarooq, Bradshaw

William Regal, Test, Scott Steiner, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin

Mysterio and Benjamin start things out. They grapple for a few moments, then Shelton goes for a clothesline, but Mysterio ducks it and hit’s a dropkick to the knee, taking Benjamin down. He quickly jumps to the top rope and hit’s a Hurricanrana, 1...2...Kick Out. Both men then make tags. Rey tags in Faarooq, and Benjamin tags Steiner.
They meet in the centre of the ring, and go punch for punch. Faarooq ends up on top. Steiner then bounces off the ropes, but is met by a thunderous Spinebuster. Faarooq makes the cover, 1...2...Test breaks the count. Benoit then charges in, followed by the rest of his team, and all hell breaks loose, distracting the referee. This gives Steiner the chance to low blow Faarooq, and then nail the reverse DDT. He gets the referee’s attention and makes the cover, 1...2...3!!! Faarooq has been eliminated.

1st Elimination: Faarooq

Benoit then comes in, he ducks a clothesline from Big Poppa Pump, and nails three German Suplexes. He then goes up top and nails the Swandive Headbutt. He makes the cover, 1...2...3!!! Steiner has been eliminated.

Test picks up Benoit in the corner and elbows him in the face twice. He then picks him up the air and taunts the crowd, before dropping him down for the Press Slam. He lays back on Benoit for a cocky cover, 1...2...Kick Out. Test laughs. He drops an elbow on Benoit, and then picks him up, going for a Pumphandle slam, but Benoit rolls through and nails a German Suplex on Test. He then tags in Eddie Guerrero, who gets a great reaction from the crowd.
Eddie plays to the crowd, and pounds on Test in the corner. He hit’s a few chops, and then bounces off the ropes, but is met with a big time clothesline. Test goes for the Testdrive, but Eddie counters and hit’s a Northern Lights suplex, 1...2...Kick Out. Test jumps up, and runs at Eddie, who hits an Arm drag, followed by a dropkick. Test quickly rolls over to his corner for rest bite, and tags Regal.
Regal and Eddie square the ring, and then tie up. Eddie applies a headlock, but Regal shoves him off the ropes, but Eddie comes back with a shoulder block, putting Regal down. Eddie then applies a hammerlock, and tags Bradshaw.

Bradshaw kicks the arm of Regal, followed by a boot to the face. He clubs at the back of Regal, putting him down again. He drops an elbow for a two count, then starts to kick at the face of Regal.
He goes for a Powerbomb, but Regal blocks it. Bradshaw then whips him off the ropes and nails a boot to the face. 1...2...Kick Out. Bradshaw then tags Mysterio back in.

This now leaves Regal’s side with three men, and Benoit’s with four. Shelton runs in to take down Mysterio from behind, but Mysterio flips over Benjamin, and hit’s a dropkick. He then hit’s a bulldog takedown, and follows with a leg drop. He makes the cover, 1...2...Regal breaks the count. This infuriates Bradshaw, and he runs in starting another mass brawl.

He hit’s a snap suplex on Benjamin, and then a German on Test. Meanwhile, two referees have come to ringside in order to control the two teams, and the war on the outside is broken up. Eddie makes the tag to Bradshaw, and Shelton tags in Test.
Bradshaw ducks the boot from Test, and nails the Clothesline from Hell. Shelton then runs in, but is beaten down by Bradshaw. Meanwhile, Regal throws the brass knucks to Test. Bradshaw goes to pick up Test, but gets planted in the face with the knucks. The referee sees none of it, and Test gets the pinfall.

5th Elimination: Bradshaw

Benoit then goes at it with Test, with the advantage now on Regal’s side, 3-2. Benoit chops Test in the corner, and kicks him in the stomach. Again, Shelton Benjamin runs in, and attacks from behind. Eddie tries to intervene, but he is held back by the referee, giving Regal and co. a chance for a triple team.
Test then starts to work on the back of Benoit. He hit’s a sidewalk slam, then a backbreaker. He hit’s a number of elbows to the back, before tagging in Regal.
Regal uses his technical skill to wear down Benoit, and work on his back. He applies various submissions, such as the Abdominal Stretch, and the Mexican Surfboard. Eddie is unable to help, as he is continuously restrained on the outside. He gets taunted by the opposition, trying to goad him into the ring.

Regal then tags in Benjamin. Shelton applies a chinlock, but Benoit starts to make a fight back, he starts to beat his way out of the hold, and begins to regain the advantage. He whips Benjamin off the ropes and hit’s a forearm to the face. He then nails a back suplex, but then gets knocked down by Regal.
Benjamin then goes for a clothesline, but Benoit ducks and nails a German. Regal runs in, but he is met with a German, as is Test. Benoit slowly crawls to the corner and eventually makes the tag to the waiting Guerrero, while Shelton tags Test.
Eddie then cleans house. He takes down all three members of the opposition with arm drags, dropkicks, and clotheslines.
He hit’s a German to Regal, then knocks Test off the apron, and then goes for the three amigo’s on Shelton. He nails two, but Test then stops a third with a vicious clothesline. He sets up Eddie for the Boot, but Guerrero ducks, and then cradles Test, 1...2...3!!! Test has been eliminated.

7th Elimination: Shelton Benjamin

Eddie and Benoit smile, as Regal squirms in the corner. He tries to apologise to both men. They look to each other and shake their heads. They laugh, as Regal tries to escape. They then slap him around the ring. Benoit hit’s the three Germans, Guerrero hit’s the Three Amigo’s. Benoit then goes up top and nails a head butt, and Eddie hit’s the Frog Splash. He makes the cover, 1.…2.…3!!!! Eddie and Benoit win!!!

A symbol comes up on the screen, and then writing appears from it, “The Dead Will Rise” Another gong is heard, then the lights come back.

We are shown a preview for the RAW Christmas Cracker tour of Great Britain, and Smackdown’s European Exodus tour in Germany, France and Italy.

Then the attention turns to the Main Event, Mr. McMahon vs. Bret Hart. Firstly we are shown clips of what people had to say about the whole situation from a few weeks back on RAW & Smackdown, then we cut to the back were the superstars are seen all being locked into two separate rooms, to make sure there is no interference.

Video Package for Main Event.

7 Years in the Making; No Holds Barred, No Interference allowed:

Bret ’Hitman’ Hart vs. Mr. McMahon

Bret enters first, followed by McMahon. Vince slowly enters the ring, wary of Hart. Vince stands in the opposite corner of Bret, but as soon as the bell rings, Hart races across the ring and tackles McMahon to the ground. He throws a flurry of rights and lefts, unrelentlessly taking it to McMahon. Bret continues to pound on Vince for the next thirty seconds, teeing off with the rights and lefts. Eventually he stops and gets up, to a huge reception from the crowd who chant his name.

He tells Vince to get up, and as Vince tries to use the ropes to get on his feet, Bret kicks the back of Vince’s leg, and McMahon falls to the ground in a heap.

Bret then kicks at the leg and begins to wail on Vince again with rights and lefts to the face. Vince tries to cover up, but can’t stop the onslaught of Hart. Hart is eventually pulled off by the referee, but as soon as Vince gets to his feet, Bret clotheslines him right back down, then drops his forearm to Vince’s face. He chokes McMahon, then picks him up by the hair, but Vince nails a low blow on Hart, sending Bret to his knees.

Hart gets up, but is knocked down by McMahon with a ferocious clothesline. Bret gets on his knees, but Vince kicks him in the gut, then takes him to the corner where he thrusts his shoulder into Bret, taking the wind from the Hitman. Vince then grabs the face of Bret and talks some smack before slapping the Smackdown GM. This enrages Hart. He stares hard into the face of McMahon and shakes his head. He then throws a right, then a left, then right, then left, right, left, right, left, then a succession of rights, resulting in Vince falling to the ground. Bret then stomps on him and kicks and punches, until Vince tries to back off and tries to apologise. Bret is having none of it though. He picks up Vince, and nails a German suplex into the corner, then delivers a suplex onto the ropes, hanging Vince over the top rope.

The Hitman then bounces off the ropes, and boot’s McMahon in the face, before slamming him onto the mat again. He then hit’s a few more right and left hands to the boss, and hit’s a T-Bone suplex. Then Bret undoes the top turnbuckle. While Bret does this though, Vince pulls out a steel chain from his trousers, and as Bret turns, Vince nails a shot to the gut with the chain in hand.

McMahon then wraps the chain around the neck of Hart, choking the life out of the Hitman. Then Vince takes Bret to the corner and delivers a few chops before throwing Bret to the outside. McMahon then whips Hart into the steel steps and runs toward them, but Bret moves and Vince runs into the steps himself.

Bret takes advantage and hits an atomic drop, followed by a clothesline. He grabs the chain McMahon used and levels Vince with it in the face, busting him wide open. Bret then hits him with it again, and makes the cut even worse. Vince tries to crawl away, but Bret is in pursuit. He follows and beats down Vince all around the ring with punches and kicks as Vince tries to get away. Hart then grabs a chair and smacks it across the back of McMahon, before brining him back inside the ring.

Vince staggers around the ring, a bloody mess, still being beaten up by Bret in the process. Bret then scores with a Russian Leg Sweep onto the chair. He covers Vince, 1...2...Bret pulls Vince up and tells the referee that he isn’t finished yet.

Bret then lifts Vince in the air, and hit’s a Flapjack onto the ropes, followed by a clothesline over the top rope, sending McMahon to the floor.

Bret then catapults the dazed McMahon into the ringpost, then head butts him to the floor. Hart then strips the Spanish announce table, and points to the crowd that he is going to put Vince through it. Meanwhile, Vince pulls something from under the ring, but conceals it from Hart, who goes over to pick him up, but then Vince throws powder into the eyes of Bret.

Hart staggers around the ring trying to clear his eyes, while Vince grabs the monitor, and nails the blinded Bret, busting the SD GM open too. Vince then grabs the chair and slams it across the back of Bret three times, then sets him up on the Smackdown announce table. He goes for a suplex through the table, but Bret blocks it, and suplexes Vince from the Smackdown announce table through the Spanish announce table. Both men are down, bloody and bruised.

Bret is first to his feet. He stomps on Vince and goes for a suplex through the remaining Smackdown announce table, but this time, Vince rakes the eyes, and nails a DDT. Then, Vince suplexes Bret through the table.

Vince uses the referee to get to his feet. He gestures to the crowd, then grabs Hart and throws him into the ring. Vince then picks up the steel chair, ring bell, trashcan and the monitor, and throws all the weapons into the ring. He smashes the trashcan over the head of Hart, then sits Bret up on the chair. Vince slaps Bret in the face, then kicks him off the chair. He slaps Bret on the back of the head, as Bret tries to crawl up. Vince badmouths Bret and his family as he slaps him, he also talks about the 1997 event, and continues to slap him. He picks up the chair, and hits Bret one more time with the weapon.

McMahon then grabs Bret by the hair and slaps him, then spits at him. He says to Bret about spitting at him seven years ago, then spits again. Bret then goes berserk. He tackles Vince down, and hit’s a flurry of punches to the face of McMahon. He then hit’s a clothesline. Vince gets up, but walks right into a spine buster from the Hitman. Bret then gets a second wind and screams at Vince to get up. Vince can barely stand, and Bret hit’s a bulldog. He then chokes Vince and yell at Vince that this is his punishment, and he does deserve it.

Bret grabs the monitor and goes for Vince, but Vince ducks and Bret levels Mike Chioda instead. He drops the monitor and checks on the referee. He tries to get him back up, but Chioda is out cold. Vince takes advantage and nails Hart with a low blow. He then picks up the ring bell and smiles with his evil grin. He clocks the Hitman, then places the steel chair over his face before hitting a Leg drop on the former WWE Champion.

McMahon signals to the back, and EARL HEBNER runs down to the ring. Vince then locks on the Sharpshooter, and yells at Hebner to ring the bell. Earl turns to signal for the bell, then stops. He turns to McMahon and shakes his head. He says that he won’t do it. Vince is irate. He tells the referee that if he doesn’t do it, he will be fired. Hebner still says no. McMahon grabs him and shoves him to the ground. He turns around to Bret and is met with a steel chair shot to the face. Bret sits Vince on the chair and slaps him. He spits in his face and then flips the bird. He tells him to rot in hell, but Vince scores with a third low blow of the match.

Vince then picks up the chair and scores with the shot to the head. He makes the cover, giving the referee no choice but to count, 1.….2.….BRET KICKS OUT!!!!! Vince is shocked. He then grabs the leg of Bret and applies the Sharpshooter again. Bret screams in agony, but then grabs the foot of Vince and pulls him down. He then applies the Sharpshooter himself, and Vince tries to claw to the ropes, but Bret cranks back, and after near thirty seconds, McMahon has no choice but to tap to the Sharpshooter!!!!!

Winner: Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart

Earl Hebner raises the arm of Bret Hart who looks at him, and then shakes his hand. Bret then picks up McMahon and looks set to punch him back down, but then shakes his head in disgust of Vince, almost as if to say you were beaten, and I have had my revenge, then he shoves Vince to the floor instead.

Bret then celebrates as Vince sits it the corner thinking about the impact of this loss, as Bret Hart finally gets payback for Montreal ‘97!!!

We end the show with J.R telling us that everyone remembers were they were when Vince screwed Bret in Canada, and now, everyone will be able to remember when Bret got revenge, at Survivor Series!!!!!

Logo fades to black…..

End of show!!!

Please let me know what you thought of this PPV, were does it rank alongside my other PPV events, what was your favourite match, and anything else that you want to tell me.

Next report is on WEDNESDAY!!!

Re: Being the booker

Rock then hit’s a clothesline, but Big Show doesn’t move. Rock hits another, and again Show doesn’t move. He laughs at The Rocks attempts of knocking him down, but Rock laughs and then kicks Big Show square in the nuts. Big Show falls to the mat in agony, and The Rock then stomps him down.
Oh how long I sat and laughed at that!!!!!!!
Go BRET!!!!!!! Phenominal main event!!
10000000000000000000000/10 your best PPV ever!!!
Elimination Chamber rocked, even if Brock didn't win!!!
Only one bad thing..........that was my crap preditictions!!!!!!
Shaniqua is un-stoppable, only one woman can stop her, Chyna!!!!
I can see a HBK/Orton fued since Orton covered Y2J and not HBK!
I'm a bit disappointed that both Benoit & Co. won, along with Team Thugonomics, I would of liked to see one heel team proveil, but hey they were still great matches!
Can't wait to see where you go from here!!

Re: Being the booker

Great PPV. my predictions sucked but so what. Orton is now a two time champ.

PS this stuff is better than 95% of what the wwe puts on tv

Re: Being the booker

WOW what a show!!! 10/10 Classic, Best Yet

Gutted that Bret Hart won fair and square wish there was some screw job. Nice touch with the Hebner part

RANDY ORTON Champion great booking! He's a 2 time champion and Triple H retains, Maybe HHH can hold the title until Wrestlemania and have an epic show down against The Rock!!!

Great PPV again, Cant wait to see what happens with Vince and Bret now
