Default Re: Being The Booker

SuperBrawl: My Predictions

- John Cena defeats Triple H (somehow) in a 60-Minute Iron Match to win the World Heavyweight Championship and goes on to defend against Christian at WrestleMania.
- Rob Van Dam defeats Chris Jericho to retain the WWE Championship and goes on to defend against Edge at WrestleMania.
- Mr. Kennedy defeats Rey Mysterio to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, making Rey a transitional champion and contuining Kennedy's new gimmick push.
- America's Most Wanted to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships, either from an Albright interference or a miscommunication error between Lashley and Batista.
- Shawn Michaels to win the first-ever SuperBrawl match, just like he won the first-ever Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber matches, and force Mick Foley to face him at WrestleMania.
- Christian to beat Tyson Tomko and roll into WrestleMania as the no.1 contender.

In addition to this I think Brock Lesnar will face Triple H at WrestleMania, and Angle vs. Undertaker (my DREAM match for WrestleMania by the way) could happen one more time on the big show.

Extra Bonus Questions;
1) What match will open the show??
Kennedy vs. Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.

2) How many championships will change hands??
Two; the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight championships.

3) Predict the order of elimination in the SuperBrawl.
- Randy Orton
- Kane (someone has to take the pin )
- Kurt Angle
- The Undertaker
- Brock Lesnar.

4) How many pinfalls will there be in the Iron Man Match.
Damn it Wolfy these questions are hard ...I'll say 5-4, so in total, 9.

5) Will there be any surprise appearances??
No

6) Predict the Match Order

- Kennedy/Mysterio for the IC Title
- Christian/Tomko I Quit
- AMW/Lashley & Batista for the WWE Tag Team Titles
- First-Ever SuperBrawl match
- Jericho/RVD for the WWE Title
- Cena/Triple H for the World Title

---
Wolfy, you know I love you, so make me proud. Again.

Raw Feedback

Okay well we start off with the McMahon Family Empire as usual which is good however I must say Stephanie McMahon really didn’t all sound to good. I can understand her gloating because she loves Trips and all that but the bit about saying she was going to let the men get down to business seemed like she was under minding herself a bit. That is so not Stephanie McMahon’s style. Even Vinnie Mac seemed a bit low key for a man of his usual stature like I understand that Triple H was the man who pointed out Tomko but I still expected a little more out of Vinnie Mac. Triple H short and sweet just pumping up Tomko’s tires and well I loved the mention of Lesnar due to the news and notes lately that comment still leaves a little chance that Lesnar may some how get himself into the main event come Wrestlemania. I didn’t really like Tomko on the mic just because I am not used to him I guess but I can’t see him lasting long in this role as Christian will probably take him to school at Super Brawl and then I can see him getting shafted by McMahon and co. Vince getting some more mic time was better as it was more over the top gloating from him rather than his lower key self earlier and the big 5 on 2 match for Saturday Nights Main Event shall be quiet epic. Shane O once again short and sharp and it seems to me like you don’t use Shane enough all the attention is always on Vince but I hope this changes with him being put in a match with Cena. Triple H to finish the promo and well I found him to be epic here mentioning about how his technique is just better and that Cena doesn’t have the stamina to go with The Game. It is a valid argument that gets everyone thinking and that is what made the ending effective. I as you am a big fan of multi people promo’s and despite the beginning being a bit iffy you really made amends and had a nice ending to this promo.

Short and sharp pretty much a squash match for Finlay however the match gets boosted up in quality just for the fact that it’s a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Meh match though as I said and well I don’t want Finlay to win the brief case but I think he could be a good asset to use throughout the match.

LOL at MNM finding another excuse to not get in the ring with Straight Edge it is hilarious… chicken pox is funny. But what caught my attention more was Doctor Marella? I couldn’t help but rub my eyes and make sure I read it correctly. I think everybody knows that MNM are going to defend the tag titles at Mania or at least that is what I hope so just keep holding off Wolfy it is what I want.

Kelly Kelly and Bischoff was nice just to get some tension between Bischoff and McMahon and I can seriously eventually see either Bischoff go mega heel and side with McMahon or side against him and become a face I hope you hold off for a while still but this tweener kind of role has at the moment can not go on forever.

Jillian and Stephanie planning the wedding was nothing special at all however I am not to sure about the way it looks like your going with Michelle Williams and Jillian Hall please don’t let Jillian sing I will cry

Nothing special with the Orton interview it was just typical Orton and well this situation has me intrigued as besides HBK there are give people in the Super Brawl match who are not 100 percent certain to have matches with anyone yet. Wait I guess Taker and Angle is pretty certain also

Nitro and Punk was always going to be a bad match for MNM as I think you had to go down the road that you did with them being exposed for phonies again. As for the excitement well this came after the match and well Alexis Laree getting involved is great just adds an extra element and I can see a 6 person tag match coming soon.

Orton getting a nice win to keep him hyped for Super Brawl one thing I didn’t like was straight after this match you went to a commercial break when earlier in a show you had like three backstage segments in a row I don’t think I have ever criticized anyone about show structure before but perhaps this could have been evened out a little better. Nit picking though so who gives a fuck your still the best around.

Foley in the building…. AWWWW SHITTTT Big time promo from him and HBK is expected ~!

LOL at Foley trying to get his cheap book plug straight away and I was glad that HBK interrupted as even though these two guys are usually fun loving characters it just sets the tone that this is going to be a more serious promo. Foley’s explanation was a nice concept and well it just adds the method to his madness and an effective heel is always someone who believes that he is in the right. I liked how Foley apologized and tricked Michaels and I would have loved for you to leave it there for a week as the attack afterwards was perhaps a tad predictable.

Nice 6 man tag match up here pretty much just giving some attention to Rey Mysterio and Mr Kennedy. Kennedy’s serious attitude seems to be paying off and his win was brilliant. Hopefully the same thing happens at SuperBrawl or else I will be very disappointed tbh.

Brock Lesnar finally getting on the show lol I thought you were forgetting about him I was getting quite upset. Anyway enough shit talking what I must say is that I pray that I get my prediction right and Lesnar wins because either way him and Cena or him and Triple H would be a great way to PUT HIM OVER at Mania.

LOL its funny how I knew Kennedy got an IC Title shot before it happened ay? Well it is because I am way behind and left my predictions in case I didn’t have time to get a review up anyway nothing to special about this and this side to Kennedy you are sure showing is nice and unique but no matter what I can not help but kind of miss the catch phrase even if it will eventually come back

Tomko and Snitsky… UGHHH YUCK tbh. This match is disgraceful lol but I guess it serves its purpose.

Nice to get a Cena rebuttal here towards Triple H’s comments earlier and I still believe if this was a debate that Triple H would have won. His arguments were the shit compared to Cena’s but anyway I just love the way you right face Cena you’re the only booker I know who has face Cena not dull and boring.

Cena getting the win that easy and with that less amount of interference is something I didn’t like I would have preferred the heels to have a good night but I guess if you are going to have Trips go over you need Cena to have the momentum going in so he doesn’t look like a total bitch.

Overall Wolf another awesome show I really enjoyed it I don’t think there was anything wrong with it at all it was just an all around good effort. Anyway Super Brawl is looking nice and I am a mile behind so hopefully I will be able to get a review up for that sometime this decade.

Default Re: Being The Booker

World Heavyweight Championship;
60 Minute Iron Man Match:
Triple H vs. John Cena

It seems to me that Cena is going to walk in and walk out the champion. I wouldn't be surprised should HHH out of the match with the title but something tells me that Cena wins. If not the Empire definently will have a hard time heading into WrestleMania without the gold now. But I can't decide. It all depends on the SuperBrawl Match but I'll pick the new champion

WWE Championship Match:
Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho

RVD retains. It'll be a good match but RVD's got a date it seems with Edge coming up at WrestleMania very soon.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match:
Rey Mysterio vs. Mister Kennedy

Interesting right here as I don't think it will affect WrestleMania too much as both men might just be thrown into MITB but I think at least one of them will be. But um, I'll play it safe and just say Rey Mysterio retains.

WWE Tag Team Championships Match:
Americas Most Wanted vs. Batista & Bobby Lashley

AMW's got it, Batista and Lashley to have difficulties and possibly brawl, etc.

First Ever SuperBrawl Match:
*3 RAW SUPERSTARS* - *3 SMACKDOWN SUPERSTARS*
*5 ELIMINATIONS THROUGH DIFFERENT STIPULATIONS*
*ELIMINATION 1 - OVER THE TOP ROPE* *ELIMINATION 2 - PINFALL*
*ELIMINATION 3 - TABLES* *ELIMINATION 4 - FIRST BLOOD*
*ELIMINATION 5 - ONE FALL TO A FINISH*
**WINNER CHOOSES HIS OWN WRESTLEMANIA MATCH**
Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane

I guess this all depends on Cena/HHH. If Cena wins, Lesnar calls HHH but since there's no title shots, I'd say it might be Orton. Angle is getting 'Taker anyways at WM probably, Kane who knows what he'll be doing and HBK seems like he's getting Foley too. If that's the case all fingers point to Lesnar which may throw a wrench into the plans.

I Quit Match:
Christian vs. Tyson Tomko

Tomko doesn't have anything planned for WM, he doesn't need this match.

*****

1) What match will open the show?? IC Title
2) How many championships will change hands?? 1
3) Predict the order of elimination in the SuperBrawl. - (Kane, HBK, 'Taker, Orton, Angle)
4) How many pinfalls will there be in the Iron Man Match. 5?
5) Will there be any surprise appearances?? Foley will show up, maybe a legend heading into WM for the Hall of Fame?
6) Predict the Match Order - (IC title, I Quit, WWE Tag Team, WWE, Super Brawl, WHC)

*****

By the way, I'll work on a review for Raw this weekend. It depends on whenever my game is Saturday if I've got one but since SuperBrawl won't be going up for a while I'll definently have one before then.

Raw Review:

Awesome way to kick off the show, my man. Bringing Tomko into the McMahon Family Empire last week was quite the shock, and I am glad that he is going to be on their side for the rest of the Road to ‘Mania. The wedding next week is going to be HUGE, with it being three hours and we will also know the WM23 Main Event by then. Glad that you only gave Tyson about three lines of dialogue, as I’m not sure how believable he is on the stick. I do however think he won’t get completely squashed by CC in the “I Quit” contest. Now we get down to what everyone is talking about … and that’s Cena-Hunter this Sunday. Triple H has been gold in this thread ever since he became the World Champion, and it is great to see him running down Cena this well. Some slightly unkayfabe comments about the “no wrestling ability” and “selling t-shirts”, but he pretty much drove home the point that Cena has never been in a match this big. Should be an awesome contest, and I can’t wait to see how Triple H gets the job done on his own. Again, great way to start the show.

Pretty predictable opening match, as I am glad that you made Smith look respectable, but Finlay has been pushed pretty well all year, so there was no way that he was losing this match. I really don’t see him as much of a contender to win at ‘Mania, but he should dish out some punishment and also take some big bumps, so it’s all good with me.

Mercury has chickenpox!? Loving the Dr. Marrella thing, btw, very good way to use him. So Nitro vs. Punk should be good, but I really don’t see the Title match going over without some controversy next week, as we know the straps aren’t changing hands until WM23. Also, glad to see Bischoff stand up for himself, but it’s obvious that Vince is still calling the shots.

Not really interested in what Jillian’s “beef” with Michelle Williams is, tbh.

Pretty simple promo from TLK, as he looks ready for his match later tonight, and obviously the one at SB. I don’t see him winning the match at the PPV, but I do see him taking part in MITB at WM23. That should be a good way to keep him over until post-‘Mania.

Pretty much how I expected the match between Punk and Nitro to go down, tbh. I know that the Champs probably aren’t losing until ‘Mania, so it was good to see the DQ. Huge six-person brawl to end the match, with MNM being exposed yet again by having the “chickenpox” wash off of Joey’s face. That was pretty good … but not as good as Melina losing her skirt. Extra points for that, tbh.

I know that you mentioned this after the first few reviews came in, but I have been pretty disappointed with the way that Kane has performed since his “big” return last year. I figured he’d last longer than 5 minutes with Orton, but I guess you just want to make TLK look that much better. I know that you are building him up, but I really don’t see him winning the match this Saturday. Still, a good win for him tonight.

Foley finally comes down to the ring … and it looks like we are going to be getting some answers. Pretty predictable stuff from Foley in the first few lines of his promo, talking about the failed Boogeyman experiment and then wanting to create controversy at the Survivor Series. But then we get down to why he did what he did at the Rumble, and that was pretty unexpected. Talking about heading to WM23 really made the fans think that he was genuinely sorry, and that’s why HBK actually accepted the handshake. Not Shawn’s best idea, as Mick just goes CRAZY on him with the mic and then the Mandible Claw. This man just keeps getting stranger and stranger and now I think we get one more altercation before the ‘Mania match is signed, probably at SNME. Good segment, although it felt a little bit short.

Good win for KK over the IC Champion. I really liked the way that he got the victory, as he didn’t really do anything dirty because he just outsmarted Rey to get the win. Hopefully this means that he will be getting a big push into WM23, as I think this is going to be his way to reach the higher part of the card on Raw.

Good little interview from Brock Lesnar, even though I think that him making his intentions crystal clear should he win the SB match makes it obvious that he won’t get the win. Still, I like the possibility of Lesnar facing either Cena or Hunter, depending on who loses in the Main Event this Saturday.

KK really is getting serious, as he would usually be ecstatic about getting the shot at the Belt. Put him over the midget this Sunday, plz.

Tomko going over is just the easiest way for him to get momentum heading into the big match at SB. Hopefully he doesn’t get completely squashed, but we all know that CC is getting the win to head into WM23 on a roll.

Great promo packed into a short amount of time from Cena. Even though he seemed a little bit too much like his character IRL, I still loved the way that he came off as the classic babyface and how he is pumped up for another shot at the Belt. This is obviously going to be an early MOTN contender and there is no way that Cena is going down without the fight of his life. But I just think that Triple H will somehow get the job done, but there won’t be any denying that Cena wrestled like a champ. Great way to end us into the main event of the evening.

I loved the way that the Main Event played out, with Cena just toying with Shane and showing the world that he means business on Saturday. “Beating” Shane three times was a great way to send a message to the Champion, and now the electricity has reached a fever pitch in this feud and it is set to explode this Sunday. Great hype job by J.R. to finish the show, as we are ready as ever for the biggest match of the night at SB.

Smackdown! Review:

Again, the way that the main event for tonight is set up makes it obvious that RVD and Y2J are getting the victory, just because we all know that ‘Taker and Angle are facing each other at WM … and it won’t be in MITB.

Good way to start the night, with the #1 contender for WM23 getting a strong win to continue to build his momentum. I am very pleased that you made Regal look strong by lasting 11 minutes, and then you made him look even stronger by having Edge need to use the briefcase to get the pin. Still, good win for Mr. MITB, and way to make Regal look halfway decent.

The mere fact that AMW brought up the Hardyz pretty much confirms that the two teams are meeting at WM23 … as if that weren’t already obvious. Hopefully Harris gets destroyed by Batista tonight.

I hope that this means that Carlito will be heading to MITB along with Porter, in order for this little mini feud to continue. Because that’d be something that I’d love to see, tbh.

Damn, Lashley beating Albright in a non-title contest is HUGE, as it now puts him at the front of the line for the next shot at the belt. I think it’s been obvious for a while that both Batista and Lashley are getting a shot at WM23, but this was still a good way to make Bobby look even more impressive.

I still see Edge getting involved in the PPV tomorrow, with him somehow avoiding the “consequences that Arn mentioned. I’m just not sure how that is going to be done.

Good way for Super Crazy to keep himself on the CW Title map, as Kash is now the second Champion to get pinned tonight. I still don’t see SC as the man who takes the belt from Kash, as it looks like BK is going to be the next Champion. At least I hope that I am right.

LMAO at Kane “giving a promo”. REALLY!?

Even though Y2J and RVD are both in the ring together later on in the show, it was good to see him share the stage and have a final promo before their big match tomorrow night. I forgot about Jericho being in this exact same situation last year, and I think that it will end being like 2006 for Jericho, as he will lose to Van Dam on Saturday. RVD was effective, talking about overcoming everyone, but then you had Edge squeeze himself in there, talking once again about being the “uncrowned” Champion. Guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow night to see what goes down.

Batista winning was no shock, as he and Lashley both look good before tomorrow night’s big chance. I still don’t see the point in them getting another title shot, tbh. They won’t be winning because the only thing on their minds is the current US Champion, and which one is going to get the next shot at him.

Angle vs. ‘Taker at WM23 better happen … otherwise this thread will be boycotted.

Carlito and London might both find a way to sneak into MITB, as you continue a huge de-push of Haas over this past year, having MVP walk out on him and fend for himself. Good wins for both Paul and ‘Lito, as they hope to be involved in the biggest show of the year.

AMW vs. Hardyz at ‘Mania is going to be awesome. Oh, no~! Deuce and Domino are pissed off! I’m sure that all the tag teams are shaking in their boots.

Good way to end the show, with ‘Taker getting his second measure of revenge against Kurt, hitting him with the chokeslam and costing their “team” the match. It was always obvious that Angle and ‘Taker weren’t going to be in MITB, so I’m glad that the match ended with way. Good final build for RVD and Jericho, as their collision is set to be huge tomorrow night.

Two very good shows, with Raw being very strong in the promo department, while SD! just continues to plug along. SB has been hyped up very well, and I’m interested in seeing what you do with it.

Final Card for WWE SuperBrawl:
Date: 3rd February 2007
Location: Dunkin Donuts Centre, Providence, Rhode Island
Event Music: Evanescence; Sweet Sacrifice

World Heavyweight Championship;
60 Minute Iron Man Match:
Triple H vs. John Cena

Someone outside the McMahon Family Empire {Lesnar} is going to screw Cena and ruin what should be an awesome match. There's no way Hunter ISN'T headlining WM23.

WWE Championship Match:
Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho

Hasn't been nearly enough build for a Title change ... and RVD-Edge NEED to happen. So make it happen!

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match:
Rey Mysterio vs. Mister Kennedy

Rey as the IC Champ is a joke. Give it to a real superstar.

WWE Tag Team Championships Match:
Americas Most Wanted vs. Batista & Bobby Lashley

Lashley and Batista are both WAY too focused on Albright. Add to that the fact that AMW-Hardyz is pretty much guaranteed for WM23.

First Ever SuperBrawl Match:
*3 RAW SUPERSTARS* - *3 SMACKDOWN SUPERSTARS*
*5 ELIMINATIONS THROUGH DIFFERENT STIPULATIONS*
*ELIMINATION 1 - OVER THE TOP ROPE* *ELIMINATION 2 - PINFALL*
*ELIMINATION 3 - TABLES* *ELIMINATION 4 - FIRST BLOOD*
*ELIMINATION 5 - ONE FALL TO A FINISH*
**WINNER CHOOSES HIS OWN WRESTLEMANIA MATCH**
Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane

We all know that he is facing 'Taker at WM23 anyway ... why not give him some momentum heading into the big match?

I Quit Match:
Christian vs. Tyson Tomko

#1 Contenders who also won the Rumble don't lose heading into 'Mania.

1) What match will open the show?? Mysterio/Kennedy
2) How many championships will change hands?? One
3) Predict the order of elimination in the SuperBrawl. 1 - Kane, 2 - Orton, 3 - Michaels, 4- 'Taker, 5 - Lesnar
4) How many pinfalls will there be in the Iron Man Match. Seven
5) Will there be any surprise appearances?? Bret Hart talking about the Hall of Fame?
6) Predict the Match Order
1 - Kennedy vs. Rey
2 - AMW vs. Lashley/Batista
3 - I Quit Match
4 - Super Brawl
5 - WWE Title Match
6 - World Title Match

Smackdown Feedback

Commentators run down the card and geez it seems Smackdown has got a pretty hot card tonight. That is great and perhaps things on the blue brand are finally going to rise to Raws standards.

Edge was always going to beat William Regal tonight because he is the big time star that needs the momentum however I was glad Regal; did not totally job out. He is an awesome wrestler and after Mania I can see him slotting into some kind of nice mid card feud.

AMW are on crack if they think Harris has any chance of beating Batista. Unless Lashley makes an appearance it is going to be a squash match really as I can’t see Harris sticking with Tista for to long.

I disagree with Carlito I think this was a very cool confrontation and if you could build something between these two superstars I would love you forever. Yes they are not the best in the ring but they are both full of charisma and could make for some entertaining microphone segments. Make it happen please

I don’t know why the commentators did not mention this match at the beginning as I believe this match is just as big if not bigger than Tista and Harris. Lashley gets a nice, tough win over the champion which should play to his cause of getting a US Title shot however with Batista sniffing around I really can not see him getting a one on one title shot. Have I mentioned how much I love the way your doing the whole slow build with Tista and Lashley this is something I fail at miserably and well you can do it and you’re benefiting from it.

Arn Anderson laying down the law with Edge is something that I like as the General Manager has to put his foot down every now and then. I don’t think Edge will interfere because he will fear losing his Mania title shot however I would CREAM if Edge tried to interfere but was stopped by a Double A Spine buster…

Kid Kash gets a loss and well Super Crazy should be getting a rematch to be honest. One on one this time though.

Kane promo equals yuckiness. Lucky you made it short.

Big chunk of a promo in the middle of the show is nice between Jericho, RVD and Edge. Jericho is going to lose for the second year in a row just like Randy Orton lol poor guys. RVD and Edge is where the money is at and come March 18 Edge will be the new WWE Champion. RVD has had a long enough reign by this stage I think its time to change some things around.

Shit. Batista actually struggled a little bit in his match up with Harris and this is definitely something I did not expect. Nice save by Lashley and the words exchanged afterwards was great just reminding everyone that there is still tension there and I find it so funny that these two will team up together at Super Brawl. Its not like they are going to win

Kurt Angle continues to hint towards The Undertaker and in a perfect world Angle would get it by winning Super Brawl. However I think he will get it for attacking Taker after he is eliminated or something like that. Either way this epic confrontation is on for Mania its kind of a shame Kurt has to lose but you don’t want to touch Taker’s Mania streak or else there will be violence.

MVP for me is what this match is all about and he is really beginning to get some people to hate him. I still want him to feud with Carlito however Haas definitely wont be happy and due to his performance in the Rumble you love London so it wouldn’t shock me if you gave London a crack just to get him in a decent feud. Either way at the moment whoever feuds with MVP shall be GOLD!

The Hardy Boyz make a challenge which is all good. Nothing else really to say on this.

Please don’t get Deuce and Domino back involved with tag titles that would be YUCK

Very nice main event with two feuds entwining it was also nice to see Undertaker finally get one up on Kurt Angle. Jericho and RVD get the win and well the staredown afterwards was gold.

Very brief review due to time restraints but sometimes you just can’t help it. Nice show though things finally looking up on Smackdown and I can’t wait for Super Brawl. Ciao.

!!WWE.COM BREAKING NEWS!!

Just hours from the SuperBrawl event, the WWE Board of Directors have confirmed that should tonight’s 60 Minute Iron Man Match end in a tie, then the World Championship will automatically remain with the champion, Triple H. Given that PPV time is likely to be at a premium, overtime or sudden death have been ruled out. Should John Cena fail to out score Triple H in the sixty minute time frame, he will not receive any reprieve, or any other championship match until at least after WrestleMania 23.

**********

WWE SuperBrawl T-3 Hours:

All eyes are set to be on the Sixty Minute Iron Man Match tonight, which will finally determine the WrestleMania main event. After weeks of speculation and politicking, a decision will be made as to what direction the Raw brand will be taking on the final road to WrestleMania.
Should Triple H win, it will be a clear sign of where the power lies in the company backstage, and a clear sign that Triple H is calling the shots. Should Cena triumph, it will either mean that The Game has been won over by the proposed Brock Lesnar angle, or that the boss himself has put his foot down and done what he feels is best for business right now.
With the earlier announcement today that in the result of a tie there will be no overtime, it leaves a curiosity over whether this is being used as a precaution to keep Cena looking strong, and not lose to Triple H for the third straight time, but not win the match. Given that ending the show with such an unsatisfying finish could seriously jeopardise the excitement towards WrestleMania, it is likely that the earlier announcement could well only serve as a big talking point throughout the night and place more pressure onto John Cena to deliver the goods and defeat The Game.

The other big talking point going into the show is the first ever Super-Brawl. Any one of five of the six could well have a case for winning the contest, with Kane seen as the only unlikely winner. With Kurt Angle and The Undertaker all but announced for WrestleMania it may not be beneficial for either man to win, whilst for Shawn Michaels, winning the match would serve as a perfect platform to arrange his likely showdown with Mick Foley. The same could be said for Brock Lesnar, using the win to call out the loser of the Iron Man Match, whilst Randy Orton, if he wins, would likely place himself in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Speaking of Orton, reports have surfaced over the last week over his frustration at not being involved in any of the major angles leading into this years event. Orton had been pencilled in to face off with Ric Flair, but after Flairs walk out from the company in December, Orton has been shuffled around, and looks set to feature only in the ladder match. To keep Orton appeased though, he is being widely touted for a big push post- WrestleMania, much like Triple H was last year following his disappointing build into the big show.
Mick Foley will NOT be appearing according to sources close to the Hardcore Legend. Foley though is highly expected to appear on Saturday Nights Main Event next Saturday night instead.

Christian is said to be a lock for his I Quit Match against Tyson Tomko, as are AMW when they defend the tag team title belts against Batista and Bobby Lashley. Worryingly, the injury Lashley suffered in Europe appears to be more serious than first thought. It’s unknown if Lashley will be able to work through the injury much longer, but a sure sign of how serious his injury is will be seen in the action he gets in the tag team title match tonight.

With the Mister Kennedy, Rey Mysterio feud to continue through WrestleMania it’s unknown if a title change will occur at SuperBrawl. Mister McMahon himself has made it clear he wants Mister Kennedy to become a much more featured player on Raw in the wake of WrestleMania, but whether a run with the Intercontinental title is part of those plans is unknown.

Curiously, there appears to be confusion over the destination of the WWE Championship at tonight’s show. Despite Rob Van Dams impressive title run, there have been whispers of a title change tonight, as a result of RVD still not putting pen to paper on a contract extension. It also appears this is why a lot of the focus in recent weeks has been on Edge and Jericho, rather than Edge and RVD. Edge’s role at the show is also unknown at this point, with no mach scheduled. He was seen arriving in Providence earlier this afternoon, but given the warning from Smackdown GM Arn Anderson last night, Edge is unlikely to get involved, with ‘ramifications’ set to follow if he did.

Hopes are high going into the show that it could be a great success, with a lot of pressure on the 60 minute main event to deliver, whilst RVD and Chris Jericho has stole many shows together in the last six months alone. With the First Ever SuperBrawl match too, hopes are high for it to go over well, whilst the undercard is seen as solid as any.

!!SUPERBRAWL WILL BE POSTED IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS!!

The PPV is in recap too, just for anyone wondering. I don’t think I pointed that out previously, but I wanted to save the full match writing for WrestleMania.

Anymore last minute predictions are welcome, and if anyone wants to change their predictions, then just edit your previous post, and I’ll check them again just before I post the show to see any changes.

Also, there’s no way anyone will be getting every prediction correct, so instead of offering 1,000,000 just for anyone to get everything correct, the person with the most correct gets 100,000.

Sorry for not posting the breaking news sooner. I meant to do that before Smackdown tbh, and only realised I hadnt when I read Bradleys post . That's not to give away any spoilers, but I can say that that stipulation does play an important part in the match.
