Raw Review:

Man, didn't expect a squash match to kick the show off. Rhyno picks up the win over Dean and looks to have some momentum going into his match with Kane on Sunday.

Good promo from Christian as the two make some jokes on Grisham's interviewing questions. I see Christian and Tomoko getting the win here tonight.

The Brotherhood gain the advantage here as OJ gets the win for the team. However I don't see The Brotherhood leaving Backlash as the new tag team champs.

Great in ring segment with Cade/Michaels and the Horsemen. The turning of Michaels to face is going great and I still see a possible Michaels/Cade feud in the upcoming months.

The tag match continued the build to Backlash quite well. Mysterio picking up the win in the match builds some steam as he faces Edge on Sunday. As for Carlito, I still think he's going to retain his title. However I like how Cade is shown a little disappointed that the "spotlight" was taken away from him by Michaels.

Good choice by Kennedy being the partner of Cena. As for the segment, after the little jokes were done, were quite good. Cena looks ready to go, and I know the main event will be great.

Finlay...next week on Raw debuting! YES!

I have a feeling the Women's Title Match for Backlash is about to be changed as Alexis and Jillian scored clean impressive wins over Trish over the past couple of weeks. As for the Brock/Conway segment, that was gold. Great comedy use from Conway and Brock. I was right. Somehow, though I feel Trish is going to leave Backlash still the champ. Edge's promo was right to the point. Looking forward to him and Mysterio on Sunday. As for the Main Event, Brock and Conway gets the Win. I now can't see Cena losing the title to Brock after this though.

Backlash Predictions: (Winners in Bold)

World Heavyweight Championship; Triple Threat Match:
John Cena vs. Christian vs. Brock Lesnar

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match:
Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin

World Tag Team Championships Match: Fatal Four Way Match:
(Championships Vacant)

Default Re: Being The Booker

It's been a while, a long while since I've reviewed this thread, but here goes.

Raw Review

Rhyno vs. Dean - No opening promo to start this Raw, which is different. Rhyno's feuding with Kane, I see. Sounds pretty good. Well, Rhyno wins one, which is more like a squash match that gets him over, and shows his readiness, and intensity for his upcoming match with Kane at Backlash.

Christian/Tomko Interview - Haha. Christian plays the perfect heel in this promo. I love it. Lol. Christian seems ready to face Cena, and Lesnar at Backlash. The tag match tonight should be great, and I can't wait.

Fatal Four Way - Creative match, which features one half of the tag teams that will face each other at Backlash. All of them are midcarders, or at least they are to me, so the match sounded unentertaining, but I still like the booking.

DX/Horsemen Promo - Lol. Cade thinks he cracked a decent joke. That was good. Cade doesn't really fit in to me. He seems more of a heel wrestler while HBK is face. Horsemen interrupt DX, which I saw coming. Flair trashes HBK for letting Cade become #1 basically. Cade seems to be trashing HBK as well. I see some tension between the two later on. Even Dinsmore gets to rip on Shawn Michaels. Michaels talks for himself, which is just right. Bischoff comes out, and calls for a match. Good promo. Seemed off at moments character wise. The length was more than good enough. It flowed okay. Once again, I didn't like the character of Gade, and Dinsmore, but that's probably because of their gimmicks in your BTB.

6 Man Tag Match - Mass confusion for me. The faces win this match, after HBK hits a nice superkick, and Flair backs off. Great match that hypes up all the matchups for Backlash.

Cena/Kennedy Promo - Cena's partner is Kennedy, and he cracked me up right away. "Y’know you have beautiful eyes Kelly." "But … my eyes are up HERE…". Great stuff. Also, great finishing lines from Cena. "Ready to go through hell". I've seen this line in every BTB now. Kinda gets repetitive after a while, but it was the right line to use. Good promo. Short, but sweet.

Hall vs. Stratus - Wow. Didn't expect Hall to beat the champion, Trish. This actually makes her look as though she'll get a title shot, so it's not that bad.

Lesnar/Conway Promo - Lol. Good promo. Conway makes himself Lesnar's partner, and then he gets the oil, and shit. That made me laugh at the end. I like the pairings. Tomko is Christian's problem solver, hence him being him partner. Lesnar, Cena, and Christian are feuding. With Kennedy feuding with Conway, and both of them in the match, it could get really interesting. Smart pairings. Definitely a great booking decision.

Bischoff Announcement - Change up in the women's match, and I think it's appropriate since Trish has been losing to other female wrestlers. The gauntlet could be interesting, as they're many possible new champs.

Edge Promo - Edge is really intense here, and he seems really focused towards getting his hands on the MITB briefcase. Good promo, but I felt it was more of a filler promo then anything.

Main Event - Lesnar, and Conway win this one. Mass confusion towards the end there with me thinking Cena would get the win, but distractions caused him to lose. Great main event, which hypes up the matches for Backlash.

Overall - Great show. You haven't lost any talent since I last reviewed your thread. Backlash looks great, and I can't wait for it. I'll most likely give you a review for it, as I'm back into booking, and reading other's work would actually get me more focused on booking. 8.5/10

Raw Review

Opening Matchup: A well written first matchup. A little unrealistic that a match happens first on Raw but it was still good to read. Rhino easily got over in this match as it was a complete squash. Rhino vs. Kane is starting to look better and better each week up until Backlash.

Christian Interview: Very well written and Christian was in great character. He was playing a great heel and made great comments to get the fans on his bad side. The tag match should be good leading up to the Triple Threat Match at Backlash.

Fatal Four Way: Good booking here and once again well written. I like the way this feud is going especially with one half of the tag champs in there. The match at Backlash should be great and I like the way you used Mid-Carders here.

Dx Promo: This was a good lengthly promo. A lot of stuff going on here and a lot of buildup for this match. I like Flair and Dinsmore interrupting and the tag team match should be a great one at the PPV.

6 Man Tag: Good match and decently written. I like the ending of Ric Flair backing down and HBK tuning up the band and finishing with some sweet chin music. Very exciting match and more build up for the PPV.

Cena and Kennedy Segment: Wow, I can't wait for these two to team up. This segment was short but it was cracking me up and they were both very much in character.

Diva Match: Surprising outcome in this one as I thought Trish would be taking this one. I see Jillian being pushed for the title soon after that win.

Lesnar and Conway Segment: A good segment here and once again entertaining to read. Sounds like it will be a great main event tonight as it helps build up both matches at Backlash which is great creativity.

Bischoff Promo: A good announcment here and it only makes Backlash better. The gauntlet should be great and I see Jillian walking out with the title.

Edge Promo: Just more build up for the match at Backlash. I am looking foward to the I quit match and Edge/Mysterio should put on a great match as they're former partners as well.

Main Event: This was a great main event with a lot of big spots also. I like the outcome and Lesnar/Conway have an advangtage now going into Backlash. Well written and was tempting to read.

Overall: Entertaining Show. 9/10

World Heavyweight Championship; Triple Threat Match:
John Cena vs. Christian vs. Brock Lesnar

Default Re: Being The Booker

World Heavyweight Championship; Triple Threat Match:
John Cena vs. Christian vs. Brock Lesnar - John Cena's going to keep the belt for awile. Lesnar just lost the WWE Title so throwing him another belt just as quick is a bit much and Christian just joined the title scene. So Cena most likely will win this to retain the gold again coming off of a hot win at WrestleMania.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match:

Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin - I see Carlito keeping the gold. Benjamin just also jumped into this division like Christian and I think someone else will win this before Benjamin can get his hands on it. Carlito will retain via cheating here and probably go on to lose it to someone else, or just face someone else for the next PPV.

World Tag Team Championships Match: Fatal Four Way Match:
(Championships Vacant)

The A.F.A vs. Brotherhood vs. Booker T & Goldust vs. United Nations - This is an easy pick. Bookah and Goldust you put a great promo together for at Mania, they also haven't touched gold in awile, or really at all in this thread for Booker or Goldust. A.F.A is ending probably in a few months with Simmon's retiring, The Brotherhood could win, but doubtful. United Nations is an unlikely team to win and with that I just see Booker T & Goldust finally grasping gold.

WWE Womens Championship; 6 Diva Gauntlet Match:
Trish Stratus vs. Lita vs. Alexis Laree vs. Jazz vs. Jillian Hall vs. Molly Holly - Trish beat Shaniqua who was all powerful. There are a load of challengers she will go through and most likely she will lose it to one of these women later on. But for now Trish is coming hot off WM and with her losing on Raw it basically just sets her up for a big win over Hall and all here.

I Quit Match for the Money in the Bank Contract:
Rey Mysterio vs. Edge - This is a rather odvious choice. Mysterio just won MITB and this is a feud to hold Edge up in a feud for awile and build Mysterio's credibility. If Edge wins i'll be shocked.

Grudge Match:
Shawn Michaels & Garrison Cade vs. Ric Flair & Nick Dinsmore - I see HBK winning. Mind you HBK & Flair both lost at WM, but HBK is more valuable, etc, but after this contest is where I see an attack. Garrison will probably blind tag in at the end and pin Dinsmore or Flair to try and show he's `better' or whatever its called I forget that he's superior to HBK so he should get the pin.

One on One:
Mr. Kennedy
vs. Rob Conway - Do I need to elaborate? Squash feud to build Kennedy, Conway won't win, and if he does which I doubt it would be a bit off to me.

In ring return of a Monster:
Kane
vs. Rhyno - Kane is returning so its odvious he'll win. This gives Kane a little more build and he just is returning so he won't lose yet. He'll probably get an undefeated streak for awile upon his return to the ring I see. For sure Kane goes over.

Everything looks good Raw was good. Sadly I'm being a bit lazy review wise, so I didn't get to Raw, or SD. I will review SD for sure and all that, I will leave some more comments on Raw then, or just make it a double review. This should be a good recapped PPV Wolfy.
