Re: Being the booker

It wouldn't surprise me if Regal won, it would give him a major push...... anyway Great shows Wolfy, haven't read them for a while, kinda bust working on the new WCW.

anyway COTC should be great... finally Vince vs. Bret..... I predict Vince will win tho (screwjob again)

Thumbs up Re: Being the booker

RAW & SMACKDOWN presents, WWE Clash of the Champions;

Long Island, New York; Nassau Coliseum, September 12th 2004

On screen we are shown the RAW locker room, and then we cut to the Smackdown locker room. Then a picture of RAW GM Mick Foley appears, followed by a picture of Smackdown GM Bret Hart.

Opening Video: The opening is played with the Event music, Saliva, Your Disease in the background and the video contrasts between RAW and Smackdown superstars starting with the two General managers Foley and Hart then we are shown Goldberg and Jericho going head to head, A clip of Flair in action, then Regal in action, both making an opponent tap, Sting and Benoit holding their belts, Trish and Torrie posing, Test and Steiner defecting, then the Dudley Boyz gaining revenge, Matt & Lita celebrating a win, followed by A-Train and Dawn laughing, then we are shown Edge & Christian hitting a conchairto, then Hurricane and Storm winning the tag titles. We are then shown Rhyno, followed by Rey Mysterio, and then finally we come to a quick shot of each competitor in the Ten man tag main event, followed by a clip of each man in action. The video ends with the voices of both Bret Hart and Mick Foley saying, ďLet the Clash begin!Ē

And now, Subway presents, a RAW and Smackdown production of WWE Clash of the Champions!

J.R: We are live in the Nassau Coliseum for what is surely going to be one historical night for the WWE, RAW vs. Smackdown!! And tonight, for one night only, I am joined by Smackdownís Tazz to call this evenings event!

Tazz: Thatís right, J.R. Tonight, you are working with a professional, and by the way, itís Smackdown vs. RAW!! I know I will be pulling for Smackdown, but Iíll try to keep as even minded as possible.

J.R: Well, Iíll be pulling for RAW as always Tazz, but Iím extremely pumped for what promises to be a truly world class event!

Hurricaneís music hits in the arena and we are set for our opening match.

Tazz: Look, JR, itís not a bird, itís not a plane, itís the HURRICANEÖ. and that other guy.

J.R: Hurricane, and Citizen Storm Tazz, the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, what a way to kick off the event, and this will be truly a Clash of Champions!

1st Match: Tag Champions vs. Tag Champions:
Edge & Christian vs. Hurricane & Citizen Storm
Overview: E&C enter the ring and ask Storm and Hurricane to leave the ring for a moment as they want to give the fans a 5 Second pose. Hurricane and Storm decide to in favour of the fans. E&C then say tonightís pose is in homage to their opponents tonight. They take out a green wig and a mask. Christian puts on the props and Edge then stands in the ring with a very serious face. Christian does the Hurricane pose to perfection while Edge still stands in a serious manner, mimicking Storm. Hurricane and Storm have enough and attack E&C.

Hurricane starts off with Christian. They trade punches back and forth, with Hurricane surprisingly coming out on top. He pummels Christian in the corner and then stands on the middle rope and hitís the ten punch with the crowd counting with him. Then Edge runs across the apron and pulls Hurricane down by the hair, and Hurricane straddles on the top rope. Christian takes advantage with a reverse DDT, and tags in Edge.

Edge stomps on Hurricane and then picks him up and hitís a suplex. He gets a cover, 1...2...KICK OUT! Edge then picks him up again, but Hurricane ducks the punch, and hits one of his own. He tags in Storm. Storm hitís a clothesline on Edge, and then hitís a mule kick on Christian, sending him to the floor. He hitís a dropkick on Edge and then hits an elbow. He tags Hurricane and they hit a double suplex. Both then do the superhero stance, but Christian comes in from behind and hitís a double clothesline. He then makes fun of both by doing his own stance. He is warned by the referee, and banished to the apron. Edge then hitís the buzz killer on Hurricane. He tags his partner and they begin to double team Hurricane. Christian then hitís a side suplex and begins to work on the back of Hurricane. He and Edge begin to make constant tags, leaving Hurricane isolated from his partner.

Edge and Christian become cocky and play around with Hurricane. They let him crawl halfway across the ring to make a tag, but as he thinks he will, they pull him back and work on his back again. Edge goes for the Edgecution, but Hurricane reverses and hitís the Eye of the Hurricane. He crawls to make a tag to Storm, but Christian pulls him back, however, Hurricane kicks him away and rolls through to tag in Lance Storm.

Storm cleans house and batters the RAW tag champions with a number of clotheslines. He then hitís a DDT on Edge, and throws Christian out of the ring. He then applies the Maple Leaf, but Christian breaks it up just before Edge taps out. Christian goes at it with Storm, but Storm is still fresh and overpowers Christian. He gets a cover, 1...2...Christian breaks up the count. Christian then goes for the Unprettier, but Lance Storm hits Christian in the gut, and he lets go. Storm whips him off the ropes and then he and Hurricane hit a double drop toe hold, followed by a double leg drop. Storm gets the cover, 1...2...Edge breaks up the count. He goes to the outside with Hurricane, leaving Storm and Christian in the ring.

Storm goes for a super kick, but Christian ducks and then kicks Storm in the nuts. The referee doesnít see as he is too busy watching the fight on the outside. Christian the hitís the Unprettier on Lance, and gets a cover, but the referee realises that he isnít the legal man. Christian is irate and goes to the outside. He helps Edge beat up Hurricane, and then tells Edge to get in the ring. He gets in and goes for a cover, but Storm cradles Edge and gets a two, but Edge kicks out.

Hurricane and Christian get back in and Hurricane takes control. He hitís a double clothesline, and then sets up Edge for the shining wizard, but Christian pushes Edge out of the way, and Hurricane hits Storm instead. He turns around and walks right into an Edgecution. Edge kicks Hurricane out of the ring and then covers Storm, Christian runs to the outside and grabs Storms legs to stop him from kicking out, and Edge gets the three and the victory!! E&C quickly leave after stealing another victory, getting RAW off to a great start at Clash of the Champions. Hurricane and Storm argue with the referee in the ring as they insist that E&C cheated.

We then cut to Bret Harts office where he is talking to Torrie. He tells her it is vital that she wins this match tonight, especially after SD lost the first match. She tells him that like she has said for the last two weeks, tonight, she WILL beat the best Womenís wrestler in the world, Trish Stratus.
E&C talk with Trish. They tell her that all she has to do is follow their lead and do whatever it takes to win the match.

A Video package airs showing the rivalry between the two Premier divas in the WWE today, Trish and Torrie.

Trish is shocked. She starts to panic and begins to punch at Torrie. She hitís a clothesline, but Torrie kicks out again. Trish is irate. She starts to kick her opponent on the ground and stomps on her head. She covers again, but again, Torrie kicks out. Trish goes to the outside and picks up her title belt, but the referee stops her from using it. Benoit screams in agony as he tries to make the ropes. He looks set to grab the bottom rope at one stage, but Sting pulls him back into the centre. Benoit then in one last attempt, hooks the leg of Sting and counters the move. Benoit then locks the move in on Sting, but Sting scurries to the ropes immediately.

Backstage we see Test & Steiner preparing for the Tables match up next.
A video package plays for the Tables match coming up.

6th Match: Tables Match:

Test goes at it with Dí Von, and Steiner goes at it with Bubba. Test and Steiner kick Bubba out of the ring and assault Dí Von. They hit a double suplex on him and then Steiner pushes Test hard, and they mimic the Dudleys.

Steiner: ďTEST!!!Ē
Test: ďWHAT!!!Ē
Steiner: ďGET THE TABLES!!!Ē
This gets a very unpleasant reaction from the crowd, as they boo the duo. Test goes to the outside and grabs a table, but he is stopped on the way back by Bubba who tackles Test to the ground. This distracts Steiner who looks to the outside, giving Dí Von the chance to attack him. He hitís a dropkick on BPP and then pounds him in the corner. Bubba gets back in and they hit the Dudley Device on Steiner. Bubba then sees Test trying to re enter and hitís a Bubba bomb on him. They then hit the WASSSSUPPP!!!!! on Test, and he squirms to the outside again. Then the Dudleyís do their trademark saying when Bubba shoves his brother,

Dí Von: ďWHAT!!!Ē
Bubba: ďGET THE TABLES!!!!!Ē
This gets a huge response from the crowd as they chant, ďWe want tables!!Ē. They get a table and carry it into the ring. They then go for the 3D on BPP, but Test pulls the leg of Bubba as he bounces off the rope, and Steiner counters on Dí Von into a reverse DDT. He then hitís a Belly to Belly. And a T-Bone on Bubba as he gets back in. He then attempts to hits another T-Bone to Dí Von through the table, but as he hitís the move, Bubba frantically moves the table out of the way.

Test then re enters and goes for a Boot on Bubba, but misses. Bubba hits his combination of punches on Test, and knocks down Steiner in between as he tries to intervene. Bubba then picks up Steiner, and goes for the Bubba bomb through the table, but this time, Test makes the save with the Boot to Bubba.

Test and Steiner then go for a flapjack on Dí Von through the table, but Bubba somehow, manages to stop them. The four men then go punch for punch, and Steiner brawls with Dí Von to the outside, leaving Bubba and Test in the ring. Bubba get the better of the action, but Test comes back with some shots of his own. He ducks a clothesline and hitís the Pump handle slam, but not through a table.

He goes to the outside where he helps BPP take down his brother. They get back in the ring and go for a double suplex through the table, but Bubba fights out, and hitís a double clothesline. He tries to take on both, but soon they overpower him.

Suddenly, Dí Von runs into the ring with a steel chair and lays out Test. He goes for Steiner, but he ducks, and hitís the referee instead.

He then hits Steiner with the chair and he and Bubba then set up Steiner for the 3D through the table. They hit the move, but there is no referee to call for the bell. They look to the outside, and Bubba goes outside and begins to argue with the time keeper. Meanwhile, Test grabs the chair, and hits Dí Von from behind. Bubba runs in and hammers away on Test, but he hits Bubba with a low blow. He then hitís the Test Drive, and pulls Steiner out of the broken table and replaces him with Bubba.
They run up the ramp as the referee comes to his senses. He calls for the bell, and Test and Steiner are declared the winners.
They leave the arena all smiles as Dí Von recovers and helps Bubba to his feet. They are both irate over the decision as the camera cuts away.

We then see backstage, Eddie Guerrero talking to team mate John Cena. Big Show then enters and tell them as long as he is in the ring, they neednít worry. Lesnar then enters. He laughs at Big Showís claim, and says that as long as HE stays in the ring, Team Smackdown has no problems. The four then get in an argument. Angle then steps in and tells all of them to settle down. He reminds them that the MVP gets a title shot, providing they work as a unit. He tells them to remember that later.
We then see Ric Flair making his way backstage for the Submission match up next. J.R reminds us that RAW now trails Smackdown 4-2 overall, and this match is vital.

Regal writhes in pain and tries to leave the ring, but Flair drags him to the centre by the injured leg. Flair then grabs the leg and drops a knee to the knee. He then picks up the leg again, and then signals for the figure four with the nature boy strut, and a WOOOO. Flair though, fights back with a number of right hands. He fights to his feet and bounces off the ropes and shoulder blocks Regal, but Regal doesnít budge. He comes off the ropes again, and again he fails to knock down Regal. He goes for one last try, but as he bounces off the ropes, he stops before hitting the shoulder, and instead kicks Regal in the knee.

Regal though, jumps right back up and pulls Flair right off the top rope. He then quickly locks in the Texas Cloverleaf on Flair.

Flair screams in agony, as he desperately crawls to the ropes. He looks set to make it, but Regal lets go of the hold, and pulls Flair back to the centre and applies the STF. This time, Flair seems to be in twice as much pain. He screams and doesnít look like making the ropes at all, but out of nowhere, he makes a last sudden move for the ropes. He makes it to Regalís disbelief. He refuses to let go until the referee counts to four.

Regal then kicks Flair in the back again, and then whips Flair into the corner. He runs at Flair, but Flair sticks up his boot blocking Regal away. Flair then grabs Regal by the hair and walks toward the referee. He blocks the referee from view and hits his trademark low blow to Regal. He then hitís a chop block, and goes for the figure four. Flair, uses all the strength he has remaining, and reverses the hold again on Regal, but this time, Regal is too close to the ropes.

Both men make it to their feet, and go punch for punch. Flair then hitís a few chops on Regal, but Regal hitís a clothesline on Flair. He then picks out the Brass Knucks again, but this time, he is spotted by the referee. Regal has the weapon discarded by the referee, but as the referee turns his back, Regal pulls out another pair. However, he turns around to Flair, he rakes his eyes. Regal drops the knucks and Flair picks them up and nails him with them. Regal is KOíd by the shot, and Flair takes advantage by locking in the Figure Four. The referee sees that Regal is out and calls for the bell, ending the match via Pass out.
He raises Flairís hand in victory to a huge WOOOOOOOOO from Flair and the audience. J.R and Tazz say that this was vintage Flair, and that has also brought the scores to RAW 3, Smackdown 4, in terms of victories tonight.

McMahon - Hart VP for Survivor Series

Team RAW meeting with Mic Foley. Foley asks them to put their egoís aside tonight and work as a team. Then Randy Orton enters the room late. He sits in a corner alone as Foley says it was good of him to join. Orton takes no notice and looks on as we cut away to a graphic for the Jericho - Goldberg match up next.
