Da Wolf Guy's Smackdown Review:

Opening Segment was good, Lesnar and Benoit continues their buildup which has been good as of recent. Glad Benoit didn't have too much time on the mic as that's not where he's good at. I'm sensing a good ole' old school wrestling match come 'Mania.

Tajiri gets the feel good win, that's good.

Triple H is obssessed with main eventing 'Mania now. Doubt we'll be seeing that but maybe HHH/'Taker at 'Mania.

Hardy and JBL coming for 'Mania. Could be good if their real life feud from the beginning of this year is any indication. It's already had the buildup considering last week's interference.

I just can't get enough of the Angle/Hart feud. It's been built up great so far and it show's that a long buildup can do wonders. Probably one of, if not the best built up 'Mania matches that I've seen in BTB history. I'm really waiting to see this one.

Intresting type of a Slobberknocker matchup coming for Saturday Night's Main Event. I'm seeing Benoit or Lesnar enter as one of the opponents towards the end for a brief brawl but it might not happen. Guess this will be a jobber fest.

London and Noble segment, not too much to comment on other than that I want London to win but most likely Noble will, setting up a rematch come WrestleMania?

Jericho needs something to do but I really can't think of anyone that he could be feuding with, Edge maybe? I don't know but maybe a heel turn could be coming soon. Really, like Jericho said, there's things for him but it's hard to think about right now!

AMW gets the win getting them a title defence, guess we won't be seeing AMW/Bashams come 'Mania, I can't think of anyone for them now.

Main event was a good, well fought out match and now as expected, D-X found themselves on Smackdown. Rock and HBK has been built well too, showing that both really don;t like each other and with Rocky losing this match, I'm expecting a huge brawl at SNME.

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match:
John Cena vs. Edge

Really, this is a intresting scenario. If Cena wins, then Orton will most likely turn heel. But if Edge wins, then we have Edge/Orton which would make sense for Face/Heel. I'm going to play it safe and say the champ will retain and head to 'Mania.

Cruiserweight Championship Match:
Jamie Noble vs. Paul London

As much as I want London to take it, Noble will most likely retain via Cabinet interference and maybe London/Noble again at 'Mania?

Womens Championship Match:
Trish Stratus vs. Lita

Don't see any titles changing this week and this is no different. Trish gets the win in a good match.

Raw vs. Smackdown; Showcase of Talent:
The Undertaker vs. Triple H

Via countout or DQ. HHH needs a feud and Undertaker is his best bet right now since he's open. Triple H either leaves before the match even starts or bashes 'Taker with a sledgehammer.

Race Against Time; 5 Minute Challenge:
Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit each have one five minute period to scores as many pin fall or submission victories as they can.

Benoit will probably go second, and get more pinfalls than Lesnar does, probably find someway too. If not, like I said earlier on, we might see Lesnar and Benoit have a breif brawl.

WWE Smackdown! Review

Alright, my third Smackdown! review today lol. Great contract signing segment, really thought Heyman trying to convince Benoit is a failure was in character. I'm guessing in your thread, Benoit never won the Rumble in 2004. Benoit not talking until the end is interesting, but I guess it's good as it gets him more motivated. Good opening match I suppose, it's recapped so I cannot really say much. Good Triple H interview, I still don't believe that HHH won't be involved in Mania. It's just too... weird. Glad to see Hardy become the number one contender for something, better than what he's doing now. Good to see Benoit prevail in the squash match, a five minute challenge? Sounds very interesting. Can't wait to see how that turns out. Interesting Jericho promo, I wonder what he has in mind. Good match before the main event, and I loved the main event. I love this Rock/HBK feud so far and I hope it turns out great for you Wolfy. Good Smackdown!, can't wait for SNME.

Default Re: Being The Booker

Opening segment- FREAKING AWESOME! I loved how long this went and how both Lesnar and Heyman were talking down to Benoit and hyping themselves, completely in character, making Benoit feel like nothing. I also loved Benoit finally having enough and saying his words, keeping the 'silent but deadly' thing going, not needed to say much since he speaks loudest in the ring. Great, great, great segment and a nice ending with the inevitable brawl between the two. Their match will be something special, I'm sure.

Good to see Tajiri get a match and win it, as he is my favorite cruiserweight ever in the WWE, so much talent

HHH interview seemed good, hyped the match with Taker but going off about how he's so great, as he always does. I don't think it'll be Taker/HHH at Mania since it's happening at SNME, unless there's a gimmick involved at WM. Which makes me wonder...what will HHH do, especially if he doesn't get into the main event?

Hardy over Snitsky and Maven? Eh, couldn't you have used two other wrestlers that actually matter and are credible to earn a US title shot? Didn't like the opponent for Hardy, but nice to see Hardy get the push and I see him beating JBL for the belt at WM...since there is no way Rock is winning

Nice little segment with Angle, breaking a new ankle every week would be awesome hype for his match with Bret, sending a message. I hope these two don't touch each other before their WM encounter

Benoit squashes someone, and uses the crossface to win, making him seem more and more dangerous, good booking here

Brock Promo- Another fantastic promo, you really capture Brock's character well, and kept it a nice length. I also love the announcement, it's really interesting and different, and good hype for their feud. Really, really loving this

Meh, decent segment with some nice lines from Noble, and some sub-par lines from London. Neither man is great on the mic, so nice job keeping it short, and their match should be great, I see London winning however. Nice way to end it with JBL laughing at Hardy

Jericho promo- Really...different. Started off in character and halfway through, something seemed to snap in Jericho's head. I smell a heel turn, but I have no idea what Jericho has planned, and I didn't understand the clue he gave at the end. Really intriguing...WM is going to be freakin' amazing with all these twists and turns...

Good to see AMW get on the show, even if it's a simple title defense against two jobbers. I love AMW and hope they have a long reign, and could use a good feud right now leading into WM

Rock vs JBL- Fantastic way to end the show, and great booking of the match, having the heels jump Rock but he makes a comeback and dominates until the end, where he once again gets jumped and screwed over. A great main event (not as good as last week though ) which hypes Rock/HBK nicely leading into SNME.

Overall- 10/10. Recapped or not, I don't care. That opening segment honestly had me in awe, something that hasn't happened since I read one of AMP's James Mitchell promos. Everything was so perfect and just...wow. This show did a GREAT job of hyping the big stuff coming up at SNME and especially WM. I'm looking foward to Benoit/Lesnar at WM more than anything right now, and also want to see what happens to Jericho. Very intriguing
_______________________________________________

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match:
John Cena vs. Edge -Another tough decision, but since Edge will have nothing left to do (except maybe a Taker feud) if he loses this, then I'm gonna say he wins this and RAW has a triple threat main event at WM using the rising stars of the WWE.

Cruiserweight Championship Match:
Jamie Noble vs. Paul London- Definitely going to win this, Noble has had a long run and the Cabinet has helped him retain each time, but this time the face is going to prevail and take the title back.

Womens Championship Match:
Trish Stratus vs. Lita [ b]Trish is going to retain and proabaly lose it at WM. To be honest, I forget why this match is happening so it's hard to know who will win. Gotta go back and re-read RAW[/b]

Raw vs. Smackdown; Showcase of Talent:
The Undertaker vs. Triple H -Really could go either way here. HHH has been acting way too cocky and not focused on Taker, which could give Taker the win, but if this leads to a feud at WM, Taker has to lose here and win at WM...right? Well, my money is on the Deadman, probably by DQ or something

Race Against Time; 5 Minute Challenge:
Chris Benoit- Benoit got dominated on the mic, so now it's his turn to dominate in the ring. I say he wins by one person, keeping it really close but showing Benoit can slightly get ahead of Lesnar, to frustrate him.

Great Smackdown! I am not going to review it but I will review from Saturday Night's Main Event and on until WM. WM is looking huge with 7 or 8 HUGE matches-
Lesnar/Benoit
Cena/Edge/Orton?
Angle/Hart
Rock/HBK
Christian/Stone Cold
Foley/Flair?
HHH/Taker?
MITB Ladder Match?

Should be a great SNME!

Smackdown! Review

Contract Signing-Great contract signing that really brought me in, highly entertaining with Heyman and the now "Iron Man" Brock Lesnar. Only thing I didn't like about with this promo was the use of calling the title WWEF as I doubt anyone would call the title that on the shows, but overall good promo and great way to kick off the show.

Tajiri vs. Matt Morgan-A nice match for Tajiri to pull a victoy over the big man, Matt Morgan.

Triple H Promo-I think both title matches for the PPV will end up singles, but who knows, it seems like RAW could be a 3-way though I can't see Triple H in that. My guess is HHH vs. Undertaker at WM, possibily a regular rematch or some sort of gimmick match.

Matt Hardy vs. Gene Snitsky vs. Maven-Pretty much the predictable match of the card having Matt Hardy win to get his US Championship match which I am guessing will be againt John Bradshaw Layfield due to the feud being built up over the weeks and the fact that I can't see The Rock winning the midcarder-upper midcarder title.

Kurt Angle Promo-A quick promo building up Angle saying he will beat Bob Backlund along with it seeming like his viscious character is being produced nicely.

Chris Benoit vs. Sylvain Grenier-A good squash someone who has had at least some success in Sylvain Grenier.

Brock Lesnar Promo-Great challenge made by Lesnar, I would defiantly like to see how you do this as there are many likely conclussions to this match.

Matt/London/Cabinet Promo-A solid promo with JBL mocking Hardy and also London/Noble gets built up a bit.

Highlight Reel-Defiantly will be intresting how Y2J is used from here due to him not able to get a main event match plus him not being in any feuds recently that could possibily pop back up, IMO. This promo really threw me off on what to think happens.

AMW vs. Simon System-America's Most Wanted retain their recently regained titles against Simon System, not much of a surprise here.

Great build up to Saturday Night's Main Event with Michael Cole and Tazz. SNME defiantly looks to have a great return instore and I can't wait.

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield vs. The Rock-Great match up, very entertaining. Loved the DX interference at the end screwing The Rock ou of the victory though it was predictable it still kind of shocked me due to how much I was getting into the match. Great way to continue the HBK vs. Rock feud.

Official Card for WWE Saturday Nights Main Event:

Date: 11th February 2006
Location: Arrowhead Pond; Anaheim
Event Music: P.O.D; Lights Out

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match:
John Cena vs. Edge

I don't see John Cena losing the title as I think we will probably see John Cena vs. Edge which is my prediction or a turn of Cena or Randy Orton for them to face off for WrestleMania 22.

Cruiserweight Championship Match:
Jamie Noble vs. Paul London

I have no clue at all here, I am just going to take a wild guess and say Paul London wins.

Womens Championship Match:
Trish Stratus vs. Lita

I actually think Lita will win the title possibilly by cheating. I think Trish Stratus has had a long enough run as WWE's Women's Champion even though Shaniqua was undeafeted when she was on Women's Champion until Trish beat her.

Raw vs. Smackdown; Showcase of Talent:
The Undertaker vs. Triple H

I think The Undertaker winning will plant a seed between Taker vs. Triple H as I don't see anyway how HHH will be in the Mania main event whether this match ends cleanly, DQ, or count out I think Taker defiantly wins.

Race Against Time; 5 Minute Challenge:
Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit each have one five minute period to scores as many pin fall or submission victories as they can.

My first guess was they would tie up making the feud seem even. Then I though possibily Lesnar wins to keep him strong. Then I decied that I think Benoit wins to make himself get some sort of advantage besides, if Benoit can eliminate so many people from the Royal Rumble he must be able to eliminate at least 6 guys in 5 minutes, exspecially if they are jobbers or lower miidcarders.

The WWEF thing was a weird one for me. I didnt have that typed on word, but it somehow managed to appear when I posted the show. It was supposed to say just WWE.

Thanks for the replies so far, and over the next few days I have quite a few to get caught up on. I'll post a preview for SNME tomorrow, and SNME on Thursday probably, as I find posting shows between Friday and Sunday to be worthless, as the thread drops to page three in a nano second.

Contract Signing-Great contract signing that really brings you in. Heyman and Leasner are brillant in this promo. 8/10

Tajiri vs. Matt Morgan-This was the biggest upset of the night Tajiri getting the win was good as I have always liked him 7/10

Triple H Promo-I think both title matches for the PPV will end up as singles, it would be easier to write but who knows, it seems like RAW could be a 3-way though I can't see Triple H in that. My guess is HHH vs. Undertaker at WM, possibily a some sort of gimmick match.

Matt Hardy vs. Gene Snitsky vs. Maven-Pretty much the predictable match of the card having Matt Hardy win to get his US Championship match which I am guessing will be againt JBL due to the feud being mega built up over the weeks and the fact that I can't see The Rock winning the midcardr title. 8.5/10

Kurt Angle Promo-A quick promo building up Angle saying he will beat Bob Backlund along with it seeming like his viscious, Benoit-like character is being produced nicely. 8/10

Chris Benoit vs. Sylvain Grenier-A good squash someone who has had at least some success in Sylvain Grenier. 6/10

Brock Lesnar Promo-Great challenge made by Lesnar, I would love to see how you do this as there is many different outcomes. 8.5/10

Matt/London/Cabinet Promo-A solid promo with JBL making fun Hardy and also London/Noble gets built up a bit. 8/10

Highlight Reel-Strange little promo IMO. Jericho doesnt have a fued so why a promo. This promo really threw me off on what I think happens. 7/10

AMW vs. Simon System-America's Most Wanted retain their their title against Simion System, pretty predictable but it was a decent match. 6/10

Nice little segement hyping SNME which is looking phemonanal 7/10

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield vs. The Rock-Great match up, very entertaining. Loved DX screwing The Rock out of the victory even though it was predictable Brillant way to continue the HBK vs. Rock feud. 9/10

Finally ... a NatureBoy16x post in Being the Booker!! And your right Wolfy, it's been toooooo long!! I wont review your latest show, though I have read all your recent shows, starting with your first Raw back. I will give my first full review with SNME, which I am sure will be very exciting.

Here are my overall thoughts -purely off the top of my head and from my memory- on the current state of things:

First off, I must go all the way back to the Rumble. Despite what anyone says, you used Benoit perfect. He broke the elimination record, and he also finally broke through the glass ceiling. This was a perfect way to solidify him, without stealing WWE's way of doing it, with him entering first. It's about time Benoit won the big one, especially in this thread, as he is at the top or your favorites list I know. And even going in, he had no momentum. I mean didn't he wrestle Snitsky at the bottom of the Armageddon card a month earlier...? Well done. And Brock may be the Iron man for now, but come WrestleMania, he'll be tapping to the Crippler.

I also loved the Rumble opening with the WWE Title match. Makes sense for a night like the Rumble, and it would have rocked the house. SOOOOOOOOOO glad Boreberg is outta here, and let’s hope you DON’T bring him back for Mania. And the Legends battle Royal was a cute, entertaining touch as well.

You also had many -more than even I did- interesting interactions at the Rumble. However, most of those looked to be just for fun, as only about half seem to be leading to matches. And of course, Angle vs. Hart & Rock vs. HBK will make the forthcoming Mania a magical night, and mixed with the rest of your sure to be 5 star card, it may be the best Mania ever.

Loving the fact that the Christian/Austin culmination is on the horizon. It'll likely get heated this Saturday Night when Austin returns. This has been building forever now, and its ready to climax for sure.

JBL vs. Matt Hardy at Mania for the US Title for me is very interesting. I have never been a big Hardy fan, however, I don’t dislike him at all. This is by far his biggest match ever, and I am sure he will have plenty of momentum going in, enough to gain him the US Title in Las Vegas. However, these types of loses can sometimes mean something even bigger, and I am speaking for JBL. I think he'll lose, and move onto the big one soon thereafter. Because if I am correct, JBL, like Benoit, had never worn the gold in this thread yet either.

I am imagining that MITB will debut at this year’s Mania. I see a spot for many guys, Jericho and RVD come to mind first.

I have a feeling that the World Title match on Raw will end up either a rematch of last year, with Edge entering MITB or a match w/ Taker, or as a Triple Threat. Either way, Cena is leaving Vegas with WWE Title in tact.

Interesting situation on Raw as well with Shelton now getting a shot at Carlito. I could see Shelton pulling it for sure. That could lead to a very unique match where for the first time ever, two tag champions go one on one at WrestleMania, for the Intercontinental Title, being Haas vs. Benjamin.

Haven’t caught on to much of the CW picture really. I think it’s doing okay, and good to see it has a sacred SNME match. But does that mean it is off the Mania card? Noble is doing great as champion regardless. Also, AMW are the new tag champs on Smackdown, and I don’t know what the future holds there either. However, I do feel Mania needs a tag title match, so it all depends on what is cooking in the Wolf’s mind.

Taker lost clean to Edge. What happens from here? I’d guess he loses clean to Triple H as well, which gives him a nasty run of bad luck heading into Mania with his streak on the line against either Triple H, or Edge. But if Taker fights Edge, what the hell does Hunter do? I mean he did have a promo with Rey at Rumble. That could work. ARGGGHH!!! Confusing!! And it may simply be HHH winning by cheating, or the finish may be a smoz, with the eventual second Mania showdown between HHH and Taker on the way. Who knows? Intriguing nonetheless.

And on Raw, Hogan is GM. How intriguing is that. He shows up in the Garden no less, the night after the Rumble, which was all just perfect. I don’t want to spoil anything about my thread here, but if you’ll just remember, Flair did suffer a loss to Hogan at my Homecoming. This may just be where I smelled similarity. However, it now seems as though you may be working to a huge, uniquely different tag match of Flair/Batista vs. Foley/Hogan. Or could it be Flair vs. Hogan, and Batista vs. Foley is some pure unadulterated bloodbath…? You keep me guessing my friend.

If I’ve missed anything, I apologize, as I have just wrote as it popped into mind. I think I hit all the recent important stuff. Looking forward to SNME, and the rest of the build to the March 26th Showcase. You and I both are about to Kill BTB with WrestleMania offerings. I can’t wait!

Default Re: Being The Booker

Great opening promo with Lesnar, Heyman and Benoit, and all 3 had some great lines in this promo. Lesnar as the cocky champion is working now after a while, and Heyman is always great as a manager and can make any promo interesting. Benoit has his say, and I’m sure he must be taking the title come Mania, and good to see that he doesn’t back down from a challenge

Tajiri gets his win in Japan, which always seems to happen, but I don’t see much coming out of this

Hardy vs. Snitsky vs. Maven – okay, Hardy was the obvious choice to get the win, and go on to face JBL at mania, but the other two had been given pushes, so there was a chance that they could win. Hardy vs. JBL will be a good match to have, even though at the moment I have to go with JBL

Angle has a hype video shown to keep him on the show, and his clash with Hart is going to be a great one

Benoit re-appears on the show, and gets an easy win to keep him over as the number 1 contender. Lesnar then cuts a promo on Benoit, and the 5 minute challenge will be good, and an interesting addition to SNME

London and Noble say a few words, just keeping the cruiserweight feud going, and I can see London taking the belt at SNME, or maybe in a gimmick match at Mania

Loved the fact the fans popped for no real reason, and this was a very interesting promo from Jericho, as I haven’t got a clue where he is going at Wrestlemania the first time I read it, but on a re-read, all roads lead to the MITB ladder match. Cant be anything else planned after looking at it, and something tells me that Jericho may win the MITB contract, and even cash it in at Mania

AMW keep the tag titles, but haven’t got anything lined up for Mania at the moment

Good main event between JBL and the Rock, even though a blind man could have seen what the ending was going to be. JBL keeps the title, but the Rock gets screwed by DX, which lights the fire for the Mania match that will happen between them. DX get revenge on the Rock, but the Rock will come out on top after SNME I feel

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match:
John Cena vs. Edge I’m taking a risk and going for Edge, and this does look to be the only way that the rumoured triple threat can happen at Wrestlemania, as a Cena clean win doesn’t give Edge a rematch, and I cant see Orton interfering to screw Edge, unless he turns heel which isn’t happening. Taking a risk, but Edge wins the title, but it wont be clean

Cruiserweight Championship Match:
Jamie Noble vs. Paul London – Noble cheats and cheats to keep the title, maybe with some help from the Cabinet, as I feel London is getting the title at mania

Womens Championship Match:
Trish Stratus vs. Lita – no need for a title change here, and I don’t see it happening, but you never know. Trish would probably be the lock of the card at the moment

Raw vs. Smackdown; Showcase of Talent:
The Undertaker vs. Triple H – no contest would be my guess, with it either ending in an out and out brawl, or a DQ through a sledgehammer shot. HHH now looks to be going to face Taker at Mania, as I don’t see either being in the MITB match, so they have to face each other

Race Against Time; 5 Minute Challenge:
Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit each have one five minute period to scores as many pin fall or submission victories as they can. – a tie – makes them both look the equal to each other

wwe.com news on Saturday Nights Main Event

Despite Saturday Nights Main Event not having even taken place, both Raw and Smackdown have signed huge main event matches for their respective shows for next week. It is believed that Hulk Hogan is behind the announcement of Christian vs Rey Mysterio, one on one once again this coming Monday, whilst Ricky Steamboat has officially signed a match between the #1 Contender, Chris Benoit, and the ten time world champion, The Rock.

Christian and Mysterio have old scores to settle, but on Smackdown it'll be a match bred out of respect and competition, with Benoit and Rock both having a point to prove to the world.

Staying with Benoit, the #1 Contender is in action this weekend at Saturday Nights Main Event, in a 'Race against time', facing Brock Lesnar. Both men will have a five minute period to defeat as many wrestlers from the local California area as they can. WWE would like to thank local promotions for the use of their wrestlers this Saturday Night.

In addition to the already announced matches for the return to NBC for Saturday Nights Main Event, wwe.com can exclusively reveal that we will hear from Bret Hart for the first time since the Royal Rumble last month. Hart will not be in Anaheim for the event, and nor will Kurt Angle, but Bret is scheduled to make an appearance of sorts.

Not only will Carlito attempt to control an interview with Shawn Michaels and The Rock on the Cabana this Saturday night, but the Intercontinental Champion will also have the privilage to host the final Wrestle Mania trailer prior to the entries of both Rock and Michaels. wwe.com was unable to establish which superstars are involved in this trailer.

And finally, it has been confirmed that the main event this Saturday between John Cena and Edge inside a 15 foot high steel cage, will be contested under old school cage match rules. That means pinfalls and submissions will not count, and the only way to obtain victory is by escaping the cage, either by climbing over the top, or through the door, with both feet touching the floor.

Non Official News and Rumours

(Just to be clear, when I post news and rumours like this, I'm not trying to give anything away, and not trying to swerve anyone either. I just go about it like I'd expect sites would do in real life, getting some things right, and some things wrong, but at least having a reason to rumour something, and not just for the sake of it)

Expect The Rock and Shawn Michaels to finally make their inevitable match official this Saturday night on the Cabana. Interestingly though, neither man has been 100% positive about wanting to do the feud, with both men not holding the other in the highest regard. In fact, Shawn Michaels had been against the match for a long period of time, and at one point, plans had Shawn Michaels taking the World Championship into Wrestle Mania, with John Cena chasing him into the main event, whilst The Rock could possibly have feuded with Randy Orton instead. Now though, it appears both men have been talked around, and are set to do what is right for business. With both men having to be talked into working with the other, it should be interesting as to how the finish for the actual match is worked out to suit both men.

Paul London appears to be suffering with a groin problem. London picked up the slight injury at the Royal Rumble from his elimination, and has been battling through with the injury. For now, London is set to work through the pain barrier, but if the injury persists, London may be forced to take a break from in ring action, and could lead to him missing Wrestle Mania.

It is all but confirmed that Christian will, in some way, confront Steve Austin this weekend. He might call out The Rattlesnake, leading to Austins advertised return, or might instead reign on Austins parade, and interrupt Stone Cold during his promo. It is likely Christian will issue a challenge to Austin to face him at Wrestle Mania too on Saturday.

wwe.com announced earlier today a big addition to the SNME card, with Bret Hart now set to make an appearance of some kind. Insiders are speculating it will be nothing more than a video package, whilst there is a chance he will appear live via satellite.

Expect both Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit to run through their jobber opponents like wildfire. Originally, it was expected that lower card wrestlers on the roster would be used, but now, local wrestlers from the California area are being brought in, and are expected to be fed to Lesnar and Benoit, with both men set to run into Wrestle Mania on a huge wave of momentum.

The Triple H - Undertaker match could go a number of ways. The most speculated thus far has been a DQ finish, with Triple H snapping, which would set up a match at Wrestle Mania, which was being speculated a number of weeks ago. However, rumours on that match have cooled recently, which could throw the finish into anyones guess. Expect the finish to the match to settle the rumour once and for all though this weekend.

wwe.com has also announced special 'old school' stipulations for the Cage match between Edge and John Cena. Pinfalls and submissions have been scrapped, with victory obtained only by escaping the cage. This would allow a possible screwy finish, which in turn might set up the heavily rumoured triple threat match at Wrestle Mania. However, much like the Taker - HHH feud, rumours of a triple threat match are beginning to cool, and a straight up one on one match between Cena and Orton appears to be getting the nod from officials, with the built in history from last years event between the two men already there to kick start a singles feud over the title.

Comments from me; I'll post SNME on Thursday. Personally, I think it is one of the best weekly style shows I've ever done after reading back through it last night, and hopefully, the majority of you will feel the same. There are promos that should hopefully make you laugh, probably not cry, but definately well worth reading.

As for the shows leading up the WM, I'm totally finished with them, and this is how they have panned out, in terms of full shows, recapped shows, or bits of both.

SNME - In full
Raw 13/2 - In full
SD 16/2 - In full
Raw 20/2 - In full
SD 23/2 - Mostly Recapped
Raw 27/2 - In Full
SD 2/3 - In Full
Raw 6/3 - Recapped
SD 9/3 - In Full
Raw 13/2 - Half recap, half done fully
SD 16/3 - Recapped
Raw 20/3 - In full
SD 23/3 - In full

Then, Wrestle Mania. Obviously it will be in full, and up until last night I was really worried about it, as I was struggling to get myself any inspiration to write the matches. (I've got half a match done after about two weeks of working on it). But, I think I've perhaps found a breakthrough, as I've got the Angle - Hart match jotted down on paper, and I'm pretty impressed with myself. Hopefully now I can get motoring with the show, and find that inspiration, like I did last night.

Finally, the SNME card one last time...
