RAW : 30th August 2004: Oklahoma City;

Opening Video

Instead of the usual Pyro, Mick Foleyís music hits in the arena and we see the GM make his way to the ring, which is surrounded by roughly 90% of the RAW locker room. He gets into the ring and tells the crowd that he has ordered the RAW superstars to make their way to the ring for his announcement of the RAW 5 Man Squad for Clash of the Champions.
He then calls in his first pickÖBooker T! Booker gets into the ring and shakes hands with Foley. Foley then announces that the next two superstars in the team are not ringside right now, as they have a huge main event tonight, Shawn Michaels & Kane!
Foley then states that he has signed a match later tonight to determine another place in the team, between Batista and RVD!! He then makes the final pick. He looks around the ring, and realises that the man he was about to pick isnít there. He then says that even though he isnít here, his final pick will beÖ..RANDY ORTON!!!
Immediately, Evolutions music hits and all three men make their way to the ring. Orton laughs and asks Mick if he is serious. He then tells Mick that he wouldnít do Foley a favour, even if his life depended on it. Orton then tells Foley, that he doesnít want to be on Foleyís side, he wants a match with Foley, 1 on 1!! Foley shakes his head. Orton laughs again and says he will make Foley crack. He then rejects Foleys invite and turns away. Then HBKís music hits. He walks to the ring and goes nose to nose with Orton. He tells Orton that he will put all his differences aside with Foley and represent RAW at COTC, or there is a whole locker room waiting to kick his ass. Orton thinks about and discusses with Flair. He then agrees to take part in the match, but still wants a piece of Foley.

We return with J.R and King officially welcoming us to RAW, live from J.Rís home, Oklahoma. A graphic then shows on the screen telling us that Mick Foley has organised a homecoming ceremony for J.R later tonight. J.R says he cant wait, and itís great to be home.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring. He begins to talk about his match against Goldberg at COTC, and later tonight against Rhyno. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Rhyno enters the ring and lays out Jericho with a steel chair. He calls down a referee for the match to begin now!

1st Match: World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Chris Jericho vs. Rhyno
Finish: Rhyno covers Jericho right away for a two count. He is shocked as he thinks he was about to win. He works on Jericho for a long period, wearing down the champion with a bear hug. Jericho fights out and hits some good offense, but Rhyno blasts back with a vicious Spinebuster. He sets up Y2J for the Gore, but Jericho counters with an Enziguri. He only gets a two count though. He then hitís a bulldog and attempts the Lionsault, but Rhyno gets the knees up, he then hitís a Gore, and covers Jericho, 1.Ö2.ÖKICK OUT!! Rhyno is shocked. He goes for another, but Jericho hitís a drop toe hold, sending Rhyno into the ropes. Jericho hitís a knee to the back, and then a Breakdown, 1...2...KICK OUT!! Rhyno kicks out. Jericho is shocked. Rhyno then runs at Jericho, but Jericho ducks and takes down Rhyno and then applies the Walls of Jericho. Rhyno tries to scramble to the ropes, but in a short space of time, he is forced to tap. Jericho retains!!

Backstage, Matt Hardy and Lita chat about tonightís Fatal 4 Way to see who will face Dawn & A-Train at Clash of the Champions.

Interview with Sting. He talks about the admiration he has for Chris Benoit, but at COTC, he will to Benoit that he is the better man, and the better champion.

We then see the arrival of Mr McMahon to the arena.

We return looking in the Evolution changing room, as they talk about the Foley situation, and what they can do. Orton then says he has a plan.

2nd Match: Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match to determine which Inter Gender team will face Dawn Marie and A-Train at COTC.
Maven & Miss Jackie vs. Matt Hardy & Lita vs. Rodney Mack & Jazz w/ T. Long vs. Steven Richards & Victoria
Finish: Rodney and Jazz are eliminated moments into the match as Teddy Long is caught choking Miss Jackie in the corner. Maven is then distracted by Theodore and Co. as they leave. He argues with them about attacking Miss Jackie, and as he does, Steven Richards cradles him for a three count, and already we are down to two tandems. Matt goes at it with Steven, and gets the upper hand. He tags in Lita, but she is sucker punched by Richards, who pretends to be injured. For a long period, he and Victoria control the match, keeping Lita in the corner by cheating, and double teaming. Eventually, Matt has enough and attacks Richards. He brings him to the outside, but Richards hitís a low blow. He then gets back into the ring and tells Victoria to hold up Lita, he goes for a clothesline, but she ducks and he hitís Victoria instead. Matt gets back in and hitís the Twist of Fate to Richards And Lita follows with the Moonsault, 1...2...3!! Matt and Lita celebrate in the ring as they earn their match with the Inter Gender Tag Champs at COTC.

Goldust congratulates Booker on being confirmed in the 10 Man Tag Match at COTC. Booker thanks him but tells him that winning the tag titles is still his main priority.

We see Mr. McMahon making his way backstage and we are told his announcement is up next.

We return with Mr. McMahon in the ring. He takes the microphone and begins to speak; [ITonight, I had planned to make an earth shattering announcement. An announcement so big, that the wrestling world would never EVER be the same again, but unfortunately it WONíT happen.
You see, I had planned for Clash of the Champions to be an event for closure. Closure between two people that have had problems for seven years, but NEVER went one on one to settle the score. You see I had planned for the ĎMcMahonísí choice match to break new ground in wrestling and give the fans a match that really, no one ever thought would happen. I wanted it to be, in one corner, THE CEO of the WWE, Vince McMahon, and in the other corner, his ultimate foe, the General Manager of Smackdown, BRET ĎHITMANí HART!!

(Crowd gives the biggest pop of the night)

[BHowever. Just two nights ago, I looked over all the current contracts in the WWE, and when I skimmed over the contract of Bret Hart, It clearly stipulated that Bret Hart would NOT be wrestling at any time during his contract period . Ē[/B]

(Huge Booís from the crowd)

ďHey donít look at me as the enemy in all of this. There is one man to blame, and you can only see him on Smackdown. He negotiated his contract, not me.
Therefore, as a result, I have decided that the ĎMcMahonísí choice match will be contested between RAWís Nature Boy, Ric Flair, and SMACKDOWNS William Regal, in a Submission Match

(Crowd gives a mixed reaction, clearly showing that they would rather see Vince face Bret)

ďAgain, Iím not to blame, Bret is. Ask him this week on Smackdown why he wont wrestle. He claims to have an injury that has ended his career, but do YOU believe that. If you people want this match, ask BRET

Vince smiles and then drops the microphone. He walks up the ramp still smiling.

We return with J.R and King reviewing what Vince just said, they then talk about tonightís main event between Michaels and Kane in a Cage Match, as well as Bretís conversation on the phone with a RAW superstar who would be jumping to Smackdown tonight, plus, J.Rís homecoming ceremony.

Backstage, Randy Orton catches up with Vince. He begs McMahon for a match with Foley. He says he will face him anytime, anyplace, anywhere. McMahon tells Orton that it seems that both General Managers are scared to fight, but as much as he would like to make the match, he doesnít have the power to make matches between RAW talent.

3rd Match: World Tag Team Championships Match:
Edge & Christian vs. Dudley Boys
Finish: This is a very back and forth match, with both teams going at each other for the whole, with neither gaining an advantage. Toward the end, the Dudleyz get the upper hand, and have the champions in a lot of trouble, Edge hitís a Spear on Bubba to get him and Christian back in control of the match. Dí Von turns the tide back in favour of his team with a neck breaker on Edge. Bubba makes the tag and Dí Von clears house. He and Bubba set up Christian for the 3D, but out of nowhere, Test and Steiner rush to the ring.
Test boots Bubba, and Steiner hits Dí Von with a steel chair. The match ends in a DQ, and E&C leave as quickly as possible. The beating in the ring continues as Steiner sets up two tables, Test wears out both Dudleyz with the chair.
He and Steiner then hit a double Powerbomb on Bubba through the table, and then a 3D on Dí Von through the other table.
Test then looks under the ring and pulls out two blue shirts. He hands one to Steiner and puts the other on, the blue shirts have the Smackdown logo, and it is revealed that Test and Steiner have jumped ship.
Suddenly, a number of RAW stars run to the ring, but Test and Steiner hightail through the crowd.

We return with highlights of what just went down with Test & Steiner. The camera then cuts to the parking lot, where Test and Steiner jump into their car and speed off.

Interview with Trish Stratus. She talks about facing Torrie at COTC. She says it will be too easy to beat Torrie, so instead she will just mess with her for a while before finishing her off.

We see RVD preparing for his match, J.R and King make the point that his ribs are still taped after his match at SummerSlam.

Mick Foley is seen changing into a Tuxedo in preparation for the J.R homecoming ceremony. Terri then enters. She asks him his thoughts on what just happened between Test & Steiner. He tells her that they will pay for what happened, but right now, nothing will put him in a bad mood, as he is too busy getting ready for J.Rís homecoming.

4th Match: For a place in the 10 Man Tag Match at COTC:
Rob Van Dam vs. Batista
Finish: Batista controls the most of the match, following a quick start from RVD with a number of high flying moves. Eventually, Batista catches him, and hitís a rib breaker. RVD crawls around in agony. Batista then hits another rib breaker, before kicking at his ribs. He then applies a bear hug. RVD fights out, and hitís a spinning heel kick. He bounces off the ropes, but runs straight into a spinebuster, 1...2...RVD just kicks out!!
Batista, then goes for a Powerbomb, but RVD fights out. He bounces off the ropes, but walks right into a bear hug. After a while, the referee raises his arm twice and both times it falls, the third time though, it stays up. He fights out, and ducks a clothesline, followed by a DDT. He hitís the rolling thunder, and then the Five Star, 1...2...KICK OUT!! Batista kicks out, and goes punch for punch with RVD. He hitís a knee to the stomach, and goes for the Powerbomb again. RVD rolls through and rolls up Batista, 1..2..3!! RVD WINS!! RVD quickly leaves as Batista goes mad in the ring.

We return with Mick Foley in the ring. The ring is set up with the Red Carpet and a huge Sooners motif, with a picture of J.R with his family.
Foley makes a speech about J.R being a true gentleman in the business, and then asks him to come to the ring. J.R makes his way to the ring to a huge response.
The two men shake hands in the ring and then Foley talks about J.Rís career in the wrestling business. He talks about J.Rís love for his home state, the WWE and his family. J.R thanks Foley, and the entire crowd for being the best fans in the world. He then talks about his great family.
Then out of nowhere, Randy Orton runs in through the crowd. Neither Foley or Ross realise this as they have their backs turned. Orton hits Foley in the back with a steel chair, and then hits him square in the skull.
J.R tells him to stop, but Orton laughs at him and hitís the RKO. He smiles and poses in the ring, before spitting in the face of Foley. He walks up the aisle with a huge grin as he leaves.

We return with an interview with Randy Orton. Orton in his usual cocky manner says that he will not stop the violence, until he gets his match with Foley.

Kane prepares for his match up next.

We then see J.R being placed on a stretcher and Foley being helped to the back. Coach then walks out and joins King to sit in for J.R. He makes fun of what just happened to J.R. King tells him to shut up before he gets beat up too.

Main Event: Steel Cage Match:
Kane vs. Shawn Michaels
Overview: Both men walk to the middle of the ring and stare face to face. Kane laughs at HBK, but HBK responds with a right hand. He backs Kane into the corner, laying into him with right hands. Kane fights back with a knee to the gut. HBK staggers away, and Kane then hitís a huge clothesline. Kane then picks up HBK and rams him into each side of the cage. Kane then hits his uppercut on Michaels, sending HBK to the ground. Shawn crawls to try and get to his feet, but Kane hits an elbow, sending him back to the ground. Kane then stomps on him and hits another elbow. He watches as HBK tries to get to his feet. He laughs and then goes after him again, but HBK rakes him in the eyes. He then hitís a forearm on the Big Red Machine, followed by a clothesline. HBK then signals for the Sweet Chin Music, but Kane ducks and hitís a big boot on HBK as he turns back around.
Kane then signals for a choke slam, but just before he slams him to the ground, HBK counters with an arm drag, and then a dropkick. He punches Kane into the corner again, and then gets onto the second rope, hitting the 10 punches. Kane staggers out, but ducks a clothesline from Michaels before hitting a Chokeslam. He grabs HBK by the hair and taunts him. He then rams HBKís head into the cage a number of times, and eventually, Michaels begins to bleed profusely.
Kane hitís a sidewalk slam, and then sits beside the motionless body of HBK. He tells him that this is only just getting started. He goes to the top rope and hitís a flying clothesline on the groggy Michaels. Kane then signals for the door to open. He walks toward it, but just as he is ready to leave, he changes his mind and gets back in.
He picks up HBK and puts him on his shoulders for a running power slam, but HBK pushes himself off. Kane turns around and runs straight into Sweet Chin Music. Both men go down. With no referee, there is no ten count to be made, and both men stay down for nearly a whole minute. HBK is the first to stir, but Kane then sits up, he gets up while HBK staggers to his feet. Kane laughs at HBK, but the bloody HBK gives Kane the Suck it taunt. Kane is irate. He runs at HBK, but Michaels hitís a low blow. He then hitís a DDT on Kane. He goes to the top rope and hitís the Elbow. HBK then nips up, and signals for Sweet Chin Music again, but this time he does hit it.
He then climbs the cage, and looks set to climb out, but he then changes his mind at the top, and signals for another elbow. He goes for it, but Kane moves.
HBK is motionless on the ground, and Kane struggles to make his feet. When he does, he asks for the door to be opened and he slowly walks out, but just as he is ready to hit the floor, HBK grabs his foot. There is little strength left from HBK, but his sheer determination makes Kane angry, and he decides to finish HBK. He ties up HBK on the ropes and runs toward him to hit a knee, but HBK moves just in time, and Kane runs into the cage. HBK gets up and rams Kane into the cage, busting the monster wide open. He whips Kane, but Kane reverses, and hitís a boot. He picks up HBK and whips him to the corner, but HBK jumps to the top rope and hitís a moonsault. Both men go down again.
This time, neither get an advantage when getting to their feet, with both being exhausted. Kane grips HBK by the throat, but HBK fights out, and bounces off the ropes. He goes for a forearm, but Kane sidesteps him, and boots him to the ground.
Kane then climbs the cage, slowly. He gets near the top, but HBK nips up and begins to shake the cage. Kane loses his balance and gets straddled on the top rope. HBK hits Sweet Chin Music on Kane, before scrambling out the door and gaining the win.
HBK wins the match and is helped out of the arena by officials as the show goes off the air.

There is another weeekly dose of RAW!! Tell me what you thought of the show please. Smackdown up on Wednesday!

Nice show WB! Really liked the Michaels and Kane match, well written. Plus the Orton-Foley feud is also going great, it will be interesting to see how Orton will help RAW at COTC. RAW's picks are good, lets hope Bret has some other good ones too. Vince and Bret, if it does not happen at COTC then it will happen at Survivor Series. Nice to see that you are building this up well.
I would like to see some more build up to the two other matches at COTC, Jericho v Goldberg and Sting v Benoit
Good show overall!

Great Show. Your feuds are amazing their really hotting up.

Jericho vs Goldberg needs to be built up more, I think it's weak at the moment.

10 man tag is looking supreme at the moment good picks by Foley just hope Bret has some good ones too.

Orton vs Foley looks good so far. Kinda like Undertaker vs Flair at Wrestlemania 18 where Taker tries everything to get a match with Flair.

Bret Hart vs Vince looks like a Survior Series match where a Screw Job is bound to happen but will bret screw Vince or will Vince screw Bret?

HBK vs Kane Over yet? IM quiet board with that but should be interesting how they work together in the 10 man Tag.

Anyway another great show cant wait for Smackdown 10/10

Smackdown - 10 Days from Clash of the Champions!!

Smack down ! September 2nd 2004: Tulsa:

A Video package airs of RAW showing Test & Steiner defecting to Smackdown, as well as Vince McMahonís speech about Bret Hart.
Opening Video

Cole: Tonight, Goldberg defends his WWE Championship for the first time, in a triple threat match against the last two men to hold the title. Tonight, he goes up against Kurt Angle, and Brock Lesnar!!

Tazz: Thatís right Cole, and in my opinion, we are gonna have a new champion crowned tonight!

Cole: Also folks, we hope to hear from Bret Hart tonight, regarding this comment from Mr. McMahon from RAW this past Monday!
(Video Plays of Vince talking about Bret not competing)

Tazz: I sat at home on Monday night Cole, and I couldnít believe what I heard from Mr. McMahon. Is it true?

Cole: We hope to find out later Tazz, but lets not forget, also this past Monday, Scott Steiner & Test defected from RAW to Smackdown. Both men are in action tonight!

Tazz: Scott Steiner is scheduled to face John Cena, and Test is gonna challenge Chris Benoit for the United States Title.

Cole: And that match, is NOW!!

1st Match: United States Championship Match:
Chris Benoit vs. Test w/ Scott Steiner
(Before the match, Test and Steiner talk about defecting from RAW for proper opportunities like tonight. Test then says he will take the U.S Title, and later Big Poppa Pump will lay a beating on John Cena)
Finish: Steiner throughout the match distracts Benoit, giving Test the upper hand for most of the contest. Eventually, Benoit ducks the Big Boot and nails a German Suplex. He then nails Steiner off the apron with a forearm. Test gets back up, but he is then given the trifecta of German suplexes before hitting the Headbutt. He gets a cover, 1...2...Steiner breaks the count by nailing Benoit with a steel chair. Test is disqualified and Benoit retains. Test and Steiner continue the assault afterwards, but unexpectedly, William Regal makes the save. Test and Steiner bail out and Regal helps Benoit to his feet. Regal then takes his Brass Knucks out and nails Benoit in the face. He waves to the crowd before walking away again.

We return with Bret Hart entering John Cenaís locker room. Cena looks rather uncomfortable with Bret. Bret asks Cena if he is ready to step up to the big leagues and represent Smackdown in the 10 man tag at COTC. Cena looks at Bret and nods his head. Bret then asks him if there is something wrong. Cena asks him if what Vince said on RAW was true or not. Bret looks to Cena and tells him that he will address the fans about the whole thing later.

Kanyon talks to Big Show about ending this crap with Mysterio tonight in their tag match. Big Show tells him he couldnít give a crap and just wants to beat someone up.

Rey and Eddie chat about the match coming up next. They then begin to talk about McMahonís announcement on RAW, but quickly change the subject when Bret walks to them. He shakes hands with both men, but both look rather disinterested. Bret tells them that Eddie will be part of the 10 Man Tag and Rey Mysterio will take on Rhyno in a special challenge. Neither look impressed. Bret is startled by their reaction and asks them if there is a problem, then they should tell him. Eddie then asks him just like Cena did, if there is any truth to what Vince said.
Bret looks at them and tells them that he will address the fans later.

2nd Match:
Big Show & Kanyon vs. Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio
Finish: Kanyon and Mysterio take up most ring time in this match as it mainly concentrates on this ending their feud. Mysterio gets the better of Kanyon in the early going, but Kanyon manages to tag Big Show, turning the match in their favour. Mysterio outruns the 500 Pounder for a few moments, but Kanyon then trips Mysterio, leading to Big Show dominating Mysterio. He overpowers the cruiserweight for a long period. He goes for a Chokeslam, but Eddie stops it with a dropkick to Big Shows knee. He is warned by the referee, and as this is happening, Kanyon hitís the Grand Kanyon on Rey. Big Show makes the tag, and Kanyon makes a lazy cover on Mysterio. Mysterio kicks out at two. Kanyon then whips Mysterio into the corner, but Rey counters at the corner by jumping to the second rope. He then moonsault over Kanyon, and tags in Eddie. Eddie cleans out Kanyon, and then takes down the Big Show. He hitís the triple suplex on Kanyon, and then goes for a Frog Splash, but he is pushed off the top rope by Big Show. Kanyon then hitís a Spinebuster on Eddie and gets a cover, 1...2...KICK OUT!!
Kanyon then bounces off the ropes, but runs right into a dropkick. Eddie tags in Mysterio, and he goes at it with Kanyon. Eddie fights with Big Show to the outside, but in the ring, Kanyon goes for a Grand Kanyon. This is reversed by Rey, sending Kanyon into the ropes. Mysterio hitís the 619, followed by the West Coast Pop and the cover, 1...2...3!! Mysterio wins!! Mysterio and Eddie celebrate in the ring while Big Show walks off irate with Kanyon.

Interview with La Resistance. They talk about being great Tag Team Champions, and twice the team as APA. They then make fun of their opponents tonight, Lance Storm and Hurricane. They question their credentials as suitable contenders for their titles. Hurricane then flies in. He questions La Resistance credentials as suitable tag team champions. He then makes fun of their ring wear, and accent, before asking, ďWhatís up wit dat?Ē He then flies off and La Resistance look bewildered.

We return with an angry Big Show ready to tear up the backstage area. Bret then enters and tells Big Show he will be in his squad for the ten man tag at COTC. Big Show just stares at Bret and tells him he never expected Bret Hart to be a coward. Show walks off with Bret looking annoyed.

3rd Match:
John Cena vs. Scott Steiner
(Before the match, John Cena concentrates his rap on making fun of Steiner. This annoys BPP and he attacks Cena from behind to start the match.)
Finish: After a sneak attack to start the match, Steiner controls most of the contest, nailing Cena with a number of Belly to Belly suplexes. Cena then fights back, nailing a spine buster, and then a throwback. He hitís the five knuckle shuffle, and then goes for an FU. Steiner fights out and hitís a reverse DDT. He then locks on the Steiner Recliner, but soon Cena finds the strength to stand with Steiner on his back. He runs backward into each corner before Steiner eventually falls off. Cena hitís the FU and then gets a cover, 1...2...Test runs through the crowd and pulls out the referee. Cena is irate and picks up his chain. He chases after Test, but Test lures him into the ring and a 2 on 1 attack begins. Test hitís the big boot, and Steiner locks in the Recliner. The referee ends the match in a DQ. Test & Steiner continue the attack, then out of nowhere, The DUDLEY BOYS run in. The hit Test & Steiner with steel chairs and then Buuba tells Dí Von to get the tables. They set up both tables and 3D Steiner through one and Powerbomb Test through the other. The Dudleyís then run through the crowd after getting their revenge.

Regal interview. He talks about his Submission Match with Ric Flair at COTC. He says that it will be an honour to make a legend like Ric Flair cry like a baby when he makes him tap.

Backstage, we see Test and Steiner try to regroup after the attack from the Dudleyís. They then grab Josh Matthews and tell him that they challenge the Dudley Boys to face them at COTC in a Table Match!

Bret goes to talk to Goldberg, but Goldberg turns away from him. Bret forces him to turn around. He is ready to explain to Goldberg, but Goldberg cuts him off and tells him to tell everyone the story, in the ring. Bret is furious and tells Goldberg he will go to ring RIGHT NOW!!

Bret comes to the ring. He takes a microphone and begins to talk.
ď I think everyone in the arena knows the story by know. But for anyone who still doesnít, have a look at this. (he shows the video of Vince talking Bret on RAW) Now, I guess a lot of people want to know why I signed a contract, clearly stipulating that I would NOT wrestle. The fact of the matter, is that I cant wrestle anymore.Ē (Crowd Boos)
ďYou see, Vince McMahon has played a clever game here, he has let on to all of you fans that he didnít know about by clauses in my contract. Do any of you honestly believe that a business man like Vince wouldnít read a contract. I rest my case.
Now, all today, I have received nothing but heat from the boys in the back. From the cameramen, to the WWE Champion. And to be honest, it has pissed me off. I signed with this company to be the General Manager of Smackdown, not a full time wrestler, not a part time wrestler, not as a commentator. But now Vince McMahon is trying to make me look the coward in all of this. Iím not a coward, Iím a five time WWE Champion, multiple time Intercontinental Champion, Tag Champion. Cowards donít win those types of accolades. Let me tell you who the coward is. The coward is VINCE MC MAHON!! Heís the one who ran me out of this company behind my back, heís the one who got me to do his dirty work when I came back, he made me recreate Montreal Ď97 back at Judgment Day. That hurt me. And now he has the audacity to call me a coward! Iím not the one who beat the crap out of my daughter, Iím not the one who turns my back on his most loyal servant. HE IS!!
Now, does anyone really want to see me put on my pink and black tights again?

(Crowd goes wild)
Does anyone want to see two old men go toe to toe in a match?
(Crowd goes wild)
Does anyone want to see Vince McMahon vs. Bret ĎHitmaní Hart at Clash of the Champions?
(Crowd erupts)
I donít.
(Crowd boos)
Thatís right. Clash of the Champions wasnít were Bret Hart began his hatred for Vince McMahon. Clash of the Champions wasnít the event that changed wrestling forever. It wasnít were the greatest rivalry never to have the payoff began. Clash of the Champions isnít were this match should happen. There is only one event that Vince McMahon can face Bret Hart, and itís not Clash of the Champions, not RAW, not Smackdown, not even Wrestlemania. But only one event where Vince McMahon can wrestle Bret Hart, and thatís SURVIVOR SERIES.
(Crowd goes nuts)
The match that everyone has wanted, seven years in the making, where it all began. I might not be in the best shape of my life, and I know it wont be pretty, but I do promise that you will see, the Best there is, best there was, and the best that ever WILL BE!!!! Vince McMahon I challenge you to face ME at Survivor Series, if you have the guts, if you want me SO badly, this Monday on RAW, you will accept my challenge, now all eyes are on you Vince. Give these fans what they want, and face me at SURVIVOR SERIES!!!Ē
(Crowd goes wild)

Bret then leaves the ring and walks up the aisle with a huge grin.

We return with Michael Cole and Tazz talking about Bretís challenge.

We cut to the backstage area where Bret walks back to his office. He walks down the corridor and then he is met by a huge number of Smackdown superstars who give him a huge round of applause.

4th Match: WWE Tag Team Championships Match:
La Resistance w/ Rob Conway vs. Hurricane & Citizen Storm
Finish: After a fast start from the challengers, La Resistance gain the upper hand thanks to Rob Conway. They control the match, and when Hurricane fights back with a double clothesline, he fails to make the tag, as Conway pulls Storm off the apron. La Resistance look set to retain the titles, but Dupree accidentally runs into the referee, knocking the referee out. They grab the belts and level both Hurricane and Storm, but then the APA run in and attack La Resistance. Bradshaw hitís the clothesline from hell to Grenier, Faarooq hitís the Spinebuster to Conway, and then they hit a double Powerbomb to Dupree.
They leave and the referee slowly stirs as Hurricane makes the cover, 1...Ö2...Ö3!!!! NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! Hurricane and Storm win the titles. La Resistance are shocked while Hurricane and Storm celebrate in the ring with their newly won gold.

Cena interview. He says that he is proud to be representing Smackdown at Clash of the Champions, and no one from RAW will be able to see him.

Michael Cole and Tazz then talk about all of tonightís matches. They then wonder if Hurricane and Storm winning the Tag Titles is a sign of things to come for the main event up next. Then they say that they have just got word from the GMís office, that next week all Smackdown superstars involved in any matches at COTC will be in action next week.

Interview with Torrie Wilson. She says that she has been training extra hard for her match with Trish at COTC. She then says that she believes that she can beat the Champion.

The camera cuts to all three competitors for the main event before we are shown the tale of the tape.

Brilliant once again this week WB. I am already pumped for Survivor Series, great idea to build Vince and Bret at this early stage, it has people looking forward. The PPV is certainly looking tip top, cant wait for COTC. I thought the two main events were two of the best matches you have written so far. I guess now would be a good time to end the HBK - Kane feud. I loved Randy Orton taking out Foley and JR on RAW, this gives the feud a whole new twist. I'm wondering though who Jericho's first major opponent will be for the belt? Maybe a returning HHH or Taker. Guess I will find out soon. Cant wait for RAW.
RAW: 9.5/10
SD: 9.5/10
