Great to see you back Natureboy.

My Armageddon predictions!

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Last Man Standing Match:
Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena
It may be Cena's hometown, but he has been embaressed there before. I expect the same to happen, with another screwjob victory. I do see HBK losing the title at the next PPV though, jump starting his feud with the Rock.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Rey Mysterio vs Carlito
Mysterio has the title for a long time. I really hope that he can continue his eight month reign.

World Tag Team Championship
Ladder Match
DX vs WGTT
The DX duo has had titles for a long time, past their duedate. I think that TWGTT will win in a match that favors them.

Women’s Championship
Trish Stratus vs Victoria
You really did not have much from Trish, though you set Victoria up as a pyscho once again. I see Trish retaining after defeating the mammoth Shaniqua for the first time in a year.

Ric Flair vs. Undertaker
(Flair cannot be disqualified, or counted out, and falls count anywhere)
It works out for Flair, plus he has back up at his disposal. Though I think that Undertaker will pull some magic and pick up the win.

Randy Orton vs. Christian
Christian won the first battle inside war games. The way that you have been using Christian, it would be a bad move to have him lose. Undertaker has bridged him to Orton, and Orton will bridge him to Stone Cold.

Past vs. Future
Sting vs. Batista
Batista always gets the better of Sting, and he has back - up behind him.

Challenge Match
Edge vs. Rob Van Dam
This one is really up in the air. It was only made last week so there has not been any build up. I expect that Edge will do something that completely makes him a heel.

6 Man Tag Team Match
Brotherhood vs. Booker T,Goldust & Eugene
It seems to me that you are intent on pushing the Brotherhood a little bit.

RAW REVIEW

Having the womens match at the beginning of the show, was an alright idea. I think though Trish will walk away with the championship yet, and maybe we wont see a change until the next PPV, maybe.

The cabana was really good. Seems strange for Edge to be booed, alright though. I would love to see RVD come out as as the winner, but I feel Edge will probably get the push ahead.

Nice win for win, and hopefully this isnt his last this week. He better go over Batista, and I can feel it happeneing. If not, maybe its time for some major angle with him?

Christians segements was great. LOL. Right in character, and set to who he is. Good job

Eugene losing is too bad. He should have won that won, but Im not gonna be upset about that. Him, Goldust, and Booker should win at Armageddon.

The 6-man match was so far the match of the night for me. Christian chicken out of the aftermath, but still my odds are with him. Hes gonna be a main guy in the title picture come Wrestlemania.

The UT, Albert match, was so-so. Not a fan of those. I do think though Flair and Undertaker could have been hyped 300% more. Definately not enough done with those two men.

Great ending to RAW. The main even was awesome, but having both PPV main event men, Michaels, and Cena, have their own time to cut a promo was a good idea. I hope to see Michaels win. Ive had enough of Cena this year.

OVERALL - Good RAW, and nice one leading up to Armageddon. One thing though....you have a hell of alot of matches to write! WOW! Good luck...

Default Armageddon Predictions

**EDITED 12-15-06 DUE TO NEWS POSTING AND REALIZED I MADE A MISTAKE**

Hey, it's that time again. Armageddon is shaping up very nicely and I will leave predictions and thoughts. As always expect a PPV review from me. It will be a great way to relax because I have finals coming up three days this week.

Predictions for Armageddon:

EDITED:
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Last Man Standing Match:
Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena

Oh man. Ever since Survivor Series I have been pondering over who is going to win this one. I have thought about it more and more and I just think it is 50-50 at this point. I mean HBK needs to drop the title if he is to face the Rock at WM but how will he drop it. It makes more sense to have him drop the title to someone he has been fueding with and not just anyone. But, if the winner of the Christian/Orton match is to face the victor then he will probably win the title off HBK at the Rumble. This way The Rock can make fun of HBK causing HBK to cost him a opportunity. So, I think HBK will win. This is one of the predictions I edited.

Intercontinental Championship Match:
Rey Mysterio vs. Carlito

I'm going with Mysterio on this one because Carlito is new to the block for your show. Also, I see Edge getting the heel turn that he has wanted at this PPV hopefully setting up a match between Rey and Edge at Mania for the title. I just don't think it is time for Mysterio to lose the belt yet. Especially after surviving a long fued with RVD.

World Tag Team Championships; Ladder Match:
The DX Duo vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team

I think the name of the tag team says it all. I don't see the DX Duo being able to cheat their way out of this one. Although, you may just switch things up to keep the readers on their toes but I think these two men have great talent and deserve the belts. Also, they could betray each other leading up to WM setting up a very talent filled match.

Women’s Championship;
Trish Stratus vs. Victoria

Victoria has been on quite the role but Trish has conquered the Amazon. I don't think it would be right for Trish to get such a monumentful win about a month ago and then drop the belt so soon. Also, I'm glad that you have a little storyline going in the Women's division. I hope you book Trish against Gail Kim soon because that would be a great match.

Legend vs. Legend:
Ric Flair vs. Undertaker
(Flair cannot be disqualified, or counted out, and falls count anywhere)

I dunno but this match seems kind of fishy. We have the new general manager, who may not be staying long, already booked in a wrestling match. Oh wait. I think Batista will come in and help Ric Flair win hopefully setting up Batista vs. UT at WM. This would be great because it is time for a Batista push in your thread and you have been using him great. So yeah, Flair wins.

EDITED:
One on One:
Randy Orton vs. Christian

The two superpowers of Raw this year collide and this will probably be the MOTN. I figure the main event will be a close second. I don't see this being the end of this fued either. Anyways, Christian has been on a roll this year and if he is going to win the Rumble he needs to keep his momentum up. If the winner of this match is to get a WHC shot at the Rumble, then Orton should win. This way, Christian can win the Rumble allowing for a final face-off at the Rumble. It could go the other way but Orton has had a long title reign before so it makes more sense for Christian to lose this match and win the Rumble and for Orton to win this match and win the WHC at the Rumble. This is another one of my predictions that I edited.

Past vs. Future:
Sting vs. Batista

If Batista is to go on and face the Undertaker as I believe he will need some momentum. I really hope you don't have Sting go over Batista because he needs to go to the top. He is very dominant as a heel and needs a push, slowly but surely.

Challenge Match:
Edge vs. Rob Van Dam

I see Rob Van Dam winning this somehow whether it is through a clean victory or a DQ. The only way I see Edge winning is if RVD decides to get himself DQed. Anyways, I forsee an Edge heel turn after the match leading to a beatdown of RVD. While I like the current character of RVD, I am looking forward to you having Edge as a heel.

6 Man Tag Team Match:
Brotherhood vs. Booker T, Goldust & Eugene

This is another one that I am not sure about. Bringing the Brotherhood back together was cool but I hope you don't have Eugene and Booker job to them. Goldust, who cares. Anyways, Eugene was in the War Games match even though he was out first and I think he needs to become a contender in the I.C. division. As I said before he is very enertaining and is a decent wrestler. Anyways, if Brotherhood wins, I guess it won't be that big of a deal.

I doubt I did very good on this PPV but it should be a good one. I will review Armageddon but I don't know how long it will take after the show is posted.

P.S. Where did you get your star grading system for PPV's? Did you get it from one of those wrestling books by Scott, Norton I believe, or someone like that. I was just wondering because I have a wrestling book like that called the One Ring Circus or something.

Right now, I've got 4 matches completed for Armageddon, as well as half of another. Hopefully, I'll still have it ready in time for Friday.

Also, with the time I have to visit the forums beginning to cut quite rapidly, after I return the reviews for Raw this week, I can no longer promise to return all replies. I will however, return all replies for PPV events.

*****
Smackdown;
December 1st; Birmingham, England:

Chris Benoit faces Gene Snitsky in a passable opener. Benoit locks in the Crossface, but Snitsky is too close to the ropes, and breaks the submission. Benoit tries to apply the hold again, but Snitsky pushes Benoit away, and gets out of the ring, walking off, getting himself counted out, not wanting to lose.

Backstage, Bret Hart is given a delivery. He opens it with caution, not sure what to expect, but as he does, he realises what it is … a contract from Kurt Angle. Bret shakes his head, before binning the contract, and walking out of the room.

Chris Jericho hosts the Highlight Reel, and announces the #1 Contenders Gauntlet at Fully Loaded featuring him, Goldberg, Triple H, Steve Austin, one other Smackdown superstar, and even a Raw superstar, yet to be named to determine the Number One Contender for The Royal Rumble.

This brings out Triple H who does his usual speech, saying he’ll be victorious and head on to the Royal Rumble and take the WWE Championship before heading to Wrestle Mania. Jericho and The Game share a War of words, before The Rock enters, with Triple H deciding to high tail it out of the arena through the crowd, wanting to wait to fight Rock.

Paul London defeats Lance Storm, but after the match, Maven enters, and runs down England, before directing his insults at the Smackdown ‘Golden Boy’ Paul London, telling London in no uncertain terms that he wants his spot.

In an Eight Man Tag Match, Kurt Angle, and the three members of the Dudley Clan manage to score a victory over The Cabinet, with Kurt Angle defeating JBL via the Angle Slam, which gives all four men a title shot at each member of the Cabinet at Fully Loaded.

Angle doesn’t seem too ecstatic, with him more interested in a match with Bret Hart, rather than a United States Championship Match.

Brock Lesnar and Triple H meet backstage, with both coming to an agreement to take The Rock out of commission tonight.

The System Success cheat to a victory over Americas Most Wanted, with Dean nailing Harris with a fitness bag, before getting the pinfall.

Backstage, Kurt Angle again pesters Bret Hart, telling him he’ll regret turning him down for the rest of his life, with Hart nearly exploding, telling Angle to get lost.

Goldberg comes to the ring, and bad mouths Steve Austin, telling The Rattlesnake that he wants a piece of him, one on one, anytime, anyplace, anywhere … which brings out Austin. He doesn’t say much, but basically accepts a challenge from Goldberg for anytime he wants a match, before the two men brawl. They go back and forth for a bit, before Goldberg misses a Spear, and Austin follows up with the Stunner.

Matt Hardy & The A.F.A defeat Test, Scott Steiner & Matt Morgan in a six man tag match, with Hardy pinning Steiner.

In the main event, The Rock defeats Triple H, with Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho both getting involved, which cancels the other out, and allows Rock to block a Pedigree, and get an inside cradle, getting a three count.

The Rock celebrates, standing tall as the show goes off the air.

News and Notes Concerning Armageddon:

The Edge - Van Dam encounter is expected to be one of the 'sleeper' matches of the show, with some anticipating the match to be a possible contender for Match of the Night. The contest isnt expected to be too long though, with Edge having just returned from an injury.

Word has it that Sting could ask for a release, depending on the outcome of his match with Batista at the PPV. It has been previously mentioned that the legend is unhappy with his current role in the company, and unless a big turn around is made with his character direction, Sting may well leave the company before his contract runs out.

The Undertaker - Ric Flair match is expected to have a lot of short cuts, in order to keep the match exciting. Flair and Undertaker are both in their twilight as performers, and with the rules positioned in favour for Flair, it is expected he'll be making the most of them at every turn to keep interest high in the match.

There is a big possibility of a title change in all four title matches scheduled for the PPV, and with the chances so high in each match, at least one title change has to be expected. The most likely change would possibly be in the Intercontinental or Tag Team Title Match, with both Mysterio and The DX Duo having held their titles for a long period of time.

However, with rumours circulating of an imminent Michaels - Rock match at Wrestle Mania, HBK is almost certain to drop the championship before the March 26th event. It would also be hard to rule out a womens title change too, with Victoria being pushed extremely hard this past month.

There is also a lot of anticipation heading into the Randy Orton vs Christian match, with both men ear marked as two of the companies headliners for the coming years. This will be their first real opportunity to show they have what it takes to carry the ball, being thrust into a feud together, rather than gaining momentum against other past stars such as The Undertaker and Ric Flair. A lot of rumours are also pointing to the winner of this match heading to the Royal Rumble to meet either Shawn Michaels or John Cena.

As announced on Smackdown, a Raw superstar will be part of the #1 Contenders Gauntlet at Fully Loaded on December 18th. It is possible this issue will be addressed in some manner at Armageddon, and if not, definately on Raw. Speculation is indicating that the fans will decide which Raw superstar goes to Smackdown for the event. At this point in time, it is unclear whether it will be a permanent switch, or a one off appearance though.

*****

I'll give an update on Wednesday as to how I'm getting along with Armageddon, and if anyone else has anymore predictions, feel free to post them.

December first is my birthday.

The news was very interesting. It would be a shame to see Sting leave before Wrestlemania. I like how you are pushing Christian and Randy Orton. That is the match I am most anticipating.

Very good results building up some feuds leading into Fully Loaded. Also nice notes mostly centered around Armageddon. Can't wait for Armageddon and Fully Loaded.
