7. World Heavyweight Championship Match:
‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge w/Lita vs. Winner of the Fatal Four-Way
{Shane McMahon as the special referee}

5. Fatal Four-Way Number One Contender’s Match:
Booker T w/Sharmell vs. Batista vs. Finlay vs. U.S Chmp. Rey Mysterio
{Winner receives a World Heavyweight Championship shot in the main event}

I agree with Wolfy on his above testaments, as he is always right

6. Last Man Standing Match:
The Undertaker vs. ‘The Real Deal’ Bobby Lashley w/Paul Heyman

---

3. Grudge Match:
Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy

1. Friend Or Foes Challenge; Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
WWE Tag Team Chmps. The Bluebloods & The Basham Brothers vs. The Hooligans & MNM w/Melina
{If The Basham’s, Hooligans or MNM win, they earn themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship; If The Bluebloods win, they name their next WWE Tag Title challengers}

I see the Blue Bloods costing the bashams the win, and then The Hooligans picking up the pin.

2. Cruiserweight Championship Match; No Championship Advantage:
‘The Pit-bull’ Jamie Noble vs. ‘The Notorious K.I.D’ Kid Kash

4. Singles Match:
Brent Albright vs. Hardcore Holly

Sorry that I have been unable to review in a while. School's been a bitch. But I've been reading regularly, and here's some predictions to help you forgive me!

---

Judgment Day Card

World Heavyweight Championship Match:
‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge w/Lita vs. Winner of the Fatal Four-Way
{Shane McMahon as the special referee}

Like Wolfy did, you're gonna get my double prediction below...

Fatal Four-Way Number One Contender’s Match:
Booker T w/Sharmell vs. Batista vs. Finlay vs. U.S Chmp. Rey Mysterio
{Winner receives a World Heavyweight Championship shot in the main event}

First off, I am going to tell you why the losers won't be winning. Booker's been solid since WM22, but I just don't see him and Edge meshing well as the main event of a PPV. Batista's been losing way too much to get himself another title shot. And even though I love Finlay as a wrestler, I'd be shocked to see him score the upset, especially since he was the last one standing on SD!. So that just leaves Rey-Rey, who I think is the most deserving. He has revenge on his mind after two weeks ago, and I see him SHOCKING Batista to get the win and advance to the main event.

This is where it's going to get interesting. The four-way will happen in the middle of the show, leaving time for a Batista-Rey segment before the main event. Batista will congratulate Rey and then will join Finlay and Booker in interfering in the main event. And like Wolfy brought up, he will cost Rey the match. This is the most interesting direction you can go in, imo.

Last Man Standing Match:
The Undertaker vs. ‘The Real Deal’ Bobby Lashley w/Paul Heyman

Bobby Lashley is obviously the next big stud on SD!, while 'Taker's been seen twice since 'Mania. Brutal match to go down, but Big Bad Bobby's gonna even up this one-on-one series, hopefully in a huge way.

---

Grudge Match:
Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy

Kennedy's the hottest thing is this thread and there's no way that Hardy will beat him cleanly. I could see KK using a chair or something to keep him "undefeated", but a decisive win over Matt would be a better choice, tbh.

Friend Or Foes Challenge; Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
WWE Tag Team Chmps. The Bluebloods & The Basham Brothers vs. The Hooligans & MNM w/Melina
{If The Basham’s, Hooligans or MNM win, they earn themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship; If The Bluebloods win, they name their next WWE Tag Title challengers}

Miscommunication between the heels leads to The Hooligans pinning one of the Bashams to get the title shot, much to MNM's chagrin.

Cruiserweight Championship Match; No Championship Advantage:
‘The Pit-bull’ Jamie Noble vs. ‘The Notorious K.I.D’ Kid Kash

Noble just got the belt, and it took him a while to get it. No way he's losing it this quickly.

Singles Match:
Brent Albright vs. Hardcore Holly

Future Superstar >>> Old-Ass Jobber

Default Re: Legend Presents: WWE 2006 - Stop Your Grinnin' And Drop Your Linen

By the sounds of things I'm on the same boat as Pat, so I apologize, but I doubt things will change for awhile.

***

World Heavyweight Championship Match:
‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge w/Lita vs. Winner of the Fatal Four-Way
{Shane McMahon as the special referee}

I just can't see him losing the title yet.

Fatal Four-Way Number One Contender’s Match:
Booker T w/Sharmell vs. Batista vs. Finlay vs. U.S Chmp. Rey Mysterio
{Winner receives a World Heavyweight Championship shot in the main event}

What everybody else has said sounds pretty spot on tbh.

Last Man Standing Match:
The Undertaker vs. ‘The Real Deal’ Bobby Lashley w/Paul Heyman

I think this one's quite obvious, as the scores need to be leveled.
---

Grudge Match:
Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy

This man has serious momentum, you don't need to stop it yet.

Friend Or Foes Challenge; Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
WWE Tag Team Chmps. The Bluebloods & The Basham Brothers vs. The Hooligans & MNM w/Melina
{If The Basham’s, Hooligans or MNM win, they earn themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship; If The Bluebloods win, they name their next WWE Tag Title challengers}

I simply can't see any team taking the fall other than The Bashams.

Cruiserweight Championship Match; No Championship Advantage:
‘The Pit-bull’ Jamie Noble vs. ‘The Notorious K.I.D’ Kid Kash

Just because somebody mentioned that if this happens the feud would continue, and that's what I'd mark for.

Singles Match:
Brent Albright vs. Hardcore Holly

Albright ain't losing to no spark plug.

World Heavyweight Championship Match:
‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge w/Lita vs. Winner of the Fatal Four-Way
{Shane McMahon as the special referee}

Rated R only just won the gold, and looks set for a very nice reign. A shane/Edge alliance also wouldn't shock me at this point, despite what happened on the post-WrestleMania SmackDown!.

Fatal Four-Way Number One Contender’s Match:
Booker T w/Sharmell vs. Batista vs. Finlay vs. U.S Chmp. Rey Mysterio
{Winner receives a World Heavyweight Championship shot in the main event}

I can't see heel vs heel happening, and with Batista on the losing streak, Rey-Rey to win.

Last Man Standing Match:
The Undertaker vs. ‘The Real Deal’ Bobby Lashley w/Paul Heyman

He's the fuckin' man.

---

Grudge Match:
Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy

Your brolove for KK seems to overpower all.

Friend Or Foes Challenge; Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
WWE Tag Team Chmps. The Bluebloods & The Basham Brothers vs. The Hooligans & MNM w/Melina
{If The Basham’s, Hooligans or MNM win, they earn themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship; If The Bluebloods win, they name their next WWE Tag Title challengers}

Can't see a reason for the heels winning.

Cruiserweight Championship Match; No Championship Advantage:
‘The Pit-bull’ Jamie Noble vs. ‘The Notorious K.I.D’ Kid Kash

You know how awesome Gibson is.

Singles Match:
Brent Albright vs. Hardcore Holly

If Holly wins you should shut up shop.

Sorry about the lack of feedback lately. Would love to say it's going to change soon, but idk if it will. I'm sure you'll own anyway.

Default Re: Legend Presents: WWE 2006 - Stop Your Grinnin' And Drop Your Linen

Sorry dearest, I know it's been a while since I've commented in here (or anywhere else for that matter), but I will try my best to do so from now on despite everything that's on at the moment.

World Heavyweight Championship Match:
‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge w/Lita vs. Winner of the Fatal Four-Way
{Shane McMahon as the special referee}
- Why in the blue hell should Edge lose? He only just won the title at WrestleMania, so I don't see him dropping it anytime soon. In his first PPV title defense, with a special referee who could easily turn and an opponent who has already competed earlier in the show, if Edge DOESN'T win, I'll be absolutely shocked. But I won't be, because he's winning.

Fatal Four-Way Number One Contender’s Match:
Booker T w/Sharmell vs. Batista vs. Finlay vs. U.S Chmp. Rey Mysterio
{Winner receives a World Heavyweight Championship shot in the main event}
- Booker and Finlay are both heels, so that cancels them by default. For me, it makes more sense for Batista to be in the main event since he has more history and what not with Edge, whereas Rey isn't exactly involved in the bigger picture.

Last Man Standing Match:
The Undertaker vs. ‘The Real Deal’ Bobby Lashley w/Paul Heyman
- Simply put Lashley HAS to win this, both to even the score with Taker and to keep the feud going. With a victory for Taker @ WrestleMania and now Lashley here, I see a rubber match - possibly even Hell In A Cell - at SummerSlam.

---

Grudge Match:
Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy
- Kennedy is undefeated (?) and Matt Hardy is a midcarder for life. Ken to pick up the win and continue his push.

Friend Or Foes Challenge; Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
WWE Tag Team Chmps. The Bluebloods & The Basham Brothers vs. The Hooligans & MNM w/Melina
{If The Basham’s, Hooligans or MNM win, they earn themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship; If The Bluebloods win, they name their next WWE Tag Title challengers}
- 1) The Bashams suck and need to take the fall. 2) The Hooligans are the only faces here. 3) What is it with everyone in BTB doing this sort of "if the champ wins he decides his next challenger"? It's getting a little boring. I actually hate the stipulation because, well, why the hell should a champion CHOOSE his challenger? It just seems completely out of place to me. The Hooligans to win.

Cruiserweight Championship Match; No Championship Advantage:
‘The Pit-bull’ Jamie Noble vs. ‘The Notorious K.I.D’ Kid Kash
- Usually I'd say Noble only won the title at WrestleMania so again, like Edge, he shouldn't lose it so soon. However, the whole "No Championship Advantage" could indicate that either Noble "overcomes the odds" and retains, or Kash regains it in ultimate cheap fashion and the feud continues. Personally I love the second part of that, because it can put the heel over BIG time without the face looking too weak (considering he never actually lost the title).

Singles Match:
Brent Albright vs. Hardcore Holly
- Are you KIDDING me??

Overall, it looks to be a solid card. I think Lashley/Undertaker will be the showstealer, and the Fatal 4-Way should be an entertaining read. Not that you don't know this already but your work is some of the best we've ever seen in the section, so keep it coming bud.

News and Notes:
Source: pwtorch.com

Two hours before the Judgment Day event...

Backstage reports speak of tension between Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and several of the ECW originals as a reult of the brawl that took place during the WWE Championship match on Raw this past Monday. Apparently Sabu, who has been a concern for officials ever since his return, botched a chair throw and legitimately struck Levesque in the face, breaking his nose and knocking out several of Vince McMahon's son-in-law's teeth. With Levesque already disgruntled at the precendence this ECW storyline is getting, don't look for Terry 'Sabu' Brunk to be making any WWE appearances in the near future.

Speaking of ECW, Lance Storm has been spotted meeting with WWE officials, and it is rumoured that the former ECW World Tag Team Champion is in talks to work a match at this year's One Night Stand event. Storm had originally said that his match last year with Chris Jericho would be his last, but after working an acclaimed bout for the Indy promotion Ring of Honor against their World Champion Bryan Danielson, Storm has apparently expressed some interest in returning.

Other ECW alumni rumoured to be in talks for One Night Stand include Bill Alfonso, Yoshijiro Tajiri, Francine Fournier, Jerry Lunn, and Beulah McGillicutty.

As for the WWE Championship title change this past week on Raw, it is thought that it was a snap decision based on the enormous success of The Big Show's current run, and not a planned angle. It was originally thought that Kurt Angle would hold the belt the majority of the year, as he had previously expressed disgruntlement over never receiving a lengthy title reign on par with Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Batista, John Cena, and even JBL. It awaits to be seen how Angle takes this change.

CM Punk is in [hoenix for SmackDown's Judgment Day PPV tonight, but he will only be competing in a dark match. He won't be making his full television debut till this Friday's show, which is, incidently, in Punk's hometown of Chicago.

Expect the whole 'Anarchy Era' theme to play a huge role tonight. Officials have been delighted with the success of SmackDown's unpredictable run since nature and plan to continue that at Judgment Day. What this means for the card and the matches themselves remains to be seen.

***

If all goes according to plan, I should have Judgment Day posted either later today or some time tomorrow

MARK OUT~! Knew that this was coming back sometime soon ... but I'm just pumped that it FINALLY returns. About time we got some life back into the section, and from what I remember about the card, Judgment Day should provide a spark in a section that desperately needs it. Welcome back~!
