::The camera cuts to the back where Shane Douglas is standing with Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, and Jim Mitchell::

Douglas: Tonight Jeff Jarrett and Abyss, you guys take on a battered and beaten Chris Jericho and Christian Cage…

Jarrett: …That’s right Shane Douglas, they’re battered and beaten because they screwed with the wrong two people. Chris Jericho thought that he would be safe in the Tag Team match last night? Ha, Abyss was out to destroy Jericho last night and he did just that. Then Christian Cage tried to play hero as usual, and what did he get for his troubles? BAM! A guitar shot followed by a black hole slam. Shane Douglas, Jim Mitchell and I reached an agreement, no matter who wins tonight, I get the World Title shot at Lockdown. And when I win at Lockdown, I will happily give Abyss the title shot he so rightfully deserves.

Mitchell: Ha Ha Ha, Shane Douglas, we’ve got tonight’s match in the bag. Christian Cage and Chris Jericho can play hero all they want but this isn’t the movies Shane Douglas, no no no, this is real life, and in real life, the hero doesn’t prevail. The bully picks on a geeky kid with glasses at school. So one day the geeky kid stands up to the bully, he tries to play the hero. What happens to the geeky kid? ::The camera cuts backstage to a dark room. A flashlight comes on and the face of Raven is shown::

Raven: Three men sat shackled up last night with no food or water for 24 hours. Those same three men will go out there tonight, be the hell out of each other, and be praised for it. My entire career I’ve been shackled by one man or another. The only food I’ve had is the flesh of others and the only water I’ve had is my own blood. Do I get the same praise as those men? No, I am labeled a maniac, a psycho, a freak, among other things. But I’m not bitter at those three men, no, I’m bitter at a man like Sting. A man who takes 5 years off from the business only to come back to a hero’s welcome. During those 5 years, Sting sat at home with his family and watched Disney Channel with his kids. During those same 5 years, I was scalped, threatened to quit, and held down. And when I finally achieved my goal, I was screwed over, not in the States, but in a place like Canada. In comes these outsiders from up north. Not only to they come in to a hero’s welcome as well, but they come in a take my spot. They take the spot I fought for since day one. WHAT ABOUT ME?!?!?! WHAT ABOUT RAVEN?!?!?!? Sting, tonight at Destination X, I’m not sending you back home and back to your family. I’m not sending you back to retirement or back to the unemployment line. I’m sending you to the hospital, where you will lay on your death bed before you descent into hell. Quote To Raven, Nevermore.

::The camera cuts to the back where Shane Douglas is with Alex Shelley::

Douglas: Alex Shelley, last night on Impact you were defeated by one of your opponents in tonight’s match….

Shelley: …Shane Douglas, if you want to talk about last night, lets talk about how late Alex Shelley was up last night and no, I wasn’t studying film. Shane, tonight isn’t about pinfalls or submissions. Tonight is about being smart and picking your spot to climb the X Wires. And lets face it I’m smarter than all three of those jokes combined. Just looks who I’m facing Shane Douglas. Everyone thinks “Oh god, Alex, this will be your toughest match ever”. Think again people. Elix Skipper, yeah he’s great. Aside from almost killing himself for no reason what’s so special about him? Hell, Elix Skipper is so stupid that he had to hire somebody to talk for him. AJ Styles, the most decorated athlete in TNA history. You know the key word in that sentence Shane? Of course you don’t, you’re not a teacher anymore. The key word is athlete. My little nephew can do 503 different flips as well, why doesn’t TNA hire him? Hell, my great grandmother rolls over in her grave every time AJ Styles has a match, why isn’t she hired? Oh, and don’t get me started on Samoa Joe. TNA is hanging a belt from the X Wires, Joe isn’t just going to rush up to the wires to get a belt. Now if TNA was hanging a happy meal from the wires, Joe would be up there quicker than you can say “Would you like fries with that?” Also, how in the hell are those wires going to hold Joe? They better be like triple times 50 supported. Fact is, I’m by far the smartest man, the best looking man, and the best wrestler in this match. The title is as good as mine Shane Douglas.

::The camera cuts to the back where Shane Douglas is standing with Chris Jericho and Christian Cage::

Douglas: Chris Jericho, Christian Cage, tonight you face the team of Jeff Jarrett and Abyss and needless to say, neither of you are at 100 percent.

Christian: Wow Shane, did you figure that out all on your own? The taped up ribs of Chris Jericho or the wood splints in the back of my head didn’t give you any hints did they? We may not be 100 percent healthy, but we are 100 percent pissed off. But we aren’t going to stand here and give you a bunch of excuses, fact is, Jeff Jarrett and Abyss felt that they needed an advantage in this match and that’s fine because when the opportunity presents itself, the smart move is to take it, and they did.

Jericho: Yeah, they took they opportunity to soften us up but they didn’t finish the job. Now Jarrett and Abyss have to deal with two pissed off Canadians. And we’re not just pissed off at Jarrett and Abyss, we’re pissed off that people take Canada lightly, we’re pissed off that Steve Nash gets no love in the NBA, and we’re STILL pissed off that the NHL season was cancelled last year.

Christian: See, I knew when I won the NWA World Title, I would be the hunted and not the hunter…

Jericho: Hearst Helmsley

Christian: Ha, and that’s what you have to do when you’re the hunted. You have to laugh at these “threats” from everyone. Because people are going to make threats every hour of my life. Hell, you might as well replace Jack Bauer with me.

Jericho: You’re just saying that because Elisha Cuthbert, a fellow Canadian I might add, is on that show.

Christian: Shut up.

Jericho: You see this Jarrett and Abyss? While you two are uptight about facing us, we are looser than Paris Hilton.

Christian: You know what Shane, I’m in such a good mood, that I’m going to allow you to have the honor of ending this interview.

Douglas: BECAUSE THAT’S…..

Jericho: Shut up Jerky

Jericho & Christian: BECAUSE THAT’S……HOW WE ROLL

Tenay: Well as usual, Jeff Jarrett does not come alone to the ring.

Styles: Did you expect anything less from the former NWA World Champion?

Christian Cage and Chris Jericho step into the arena as the reaction grows louder. Christian and Jericho play to the crowd as the make their way down the ramp::

Styles: I’ve known Chris Jericho a long time and he has never used an injury as an excuse.

TNA Destination X Review

Matches/Booking: 9 matches with one being a pre-show match is good, however maybe tone it down to 6 or 7 on the PPV card, as then it isn't so crowded and you have more room for promos. That way you can have things even out for you a little bit. 8/10

Promos: You only had 4 promos on a 3 hour PPV, now I am not saying that is horrible, but I just think you need a little more balance. Maybe 5 or 6 promos would be better. 7.5/10

Length: 30 pages is not enough for a PPV, but if you were doing a 10 pg= 1hr type thing then it worked out for you. I was impressed that all the matches were 2-4 pages each for 30 pages. I think 40-45 pages is suitable for a PPV, but you made good use of your length. 8.5/10

Spelling/Grammer: I saw alot of poor sentence structure in your PPV, and other then that I didn't see that much. The Spelling/Grammer is were I mark the hardest so I will mark you accordingly. 6/10

Entertainment: It does take alot to entertain me, but with all the action and exitement of your PPV, I thought it was great. 9/10

Overall Mark= 39/50= 79/100= 78% = A-

Comments: I always try to be as fair as I can possibly be when I review these shows, but at the same time I'm looking for the things you can improve on as well. I am a very hard grader, and I will tell you when something is wrong. I think Destination X was an exceptionally well done PPV, and had alot of great moments. Remember to balance things out and structure your sentences next time.

Can't believe I won! I've got some time to leave reviews and return them so I'll start with you!

Team Canada vs. Dutt and Naturals
It was a good pre-show match. Definatly not by any means MOTN, but it was good. Finish was good but it was obvious that with Petey in the ring it would finish like that. 8/10

X Division Tag Match: Christopher Daniels & Jay Lethal vs. Roderick Strong & Austin Aries
I really liked this match alot. I don't like the outcome but the match was great. Finish was a tad bit confusing, but the aftermath tells all. 8.5/10

Parking Lot Brawl: The New Crew vs. The Degenerates
I'll be honest...I don't like any of the people in this match lol. BUT if you are wondering why you are getting a high grade thank the gimmick for that. Hardcroe action was everywhere and the finish was a great one to remember. 8.5/10

Tag Team Match for the NWA World Tag Team Titles: America’s Most Wanted © vs. Team 3-D
Quote:
Stacy knocks down Kim with a Chick Kick.

Styles: CATFIIIIIGHT! CATFIIIIIGHT!
LMAO! Styles quote was great. Glad Dudleyz get the win and hopefully this happens in real life! Then again, it was just a tag match. But for a tag match it was good. 8.5/10

30 Minute Iron Man Match: Shane Michaels vs. Chris Sabin
The first falls comes after 20 minutes and both men have got to be tired. One thing that'll bring you down here is that you showed no fatigue hardly. After 20 minutes of fighting you'll be tired. Match was great however, and so far MOTN! 9/10

Monsters Ball 3: Sabu vs. Rhino vs. Monty Brown
This match delivered! Rhino Driver through 4 tables was my favorite part. Finish was ok, but I would look for something more extreme, but that was still good. MOTN so far! 9.5/10

Grudge Match: Sting vs. Raven
This match delivered for a singles match. Still wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. Seemed short compared to the rest of the match like you rushed it maybe??? Sting getting cheated out of a victory surely means the feud's going to continue. 8/10

Ultimate X for the X Division Title: Samoa Joe © vs. AJ Styles vs. Elix Skipper vs. Alex Shelley
Shelley finally completes his push and is the X Champion! Match was freaking awesome. Samoa Joe did good for his size IMO, and Styles was great like always! New MOTN! 10/10

Tag Team Main Event: Jeff Jarrett & Abyss vs. Christian Cage & Chris Jericho
This match was definatly up there for MOTN, but isn't going to do it. UX will get that. Match was good for a tag match but it was main event so wat d you expect? Jarrett cheats to win and looks like maybe Jericho vs. Abyss and CC vs. Jarrett for the belt? 9/10

Overall: 79/90 = 88/100

Good PPV here and I'm looking foward to Lockdown which is next I believe?

I read through the Iron Man match. Im getting a headache, so Ill finish it later.

Very good competitive match up with Strong/Aries and Daniels/Lethal. I really liked the ending with the Lethal tapping as Daniels is about to score the pin. Hopefully it leads to a heel turn by Daniels and a feud between the two.

The Parking Lot Brawl was very physical, very good brawl. You used all six of them very well, which in that enviornment is hard to do.

Stacy Keibler? Wow, didnt see that coming at all. The Dutchess of Dudleyville is back. Great match up between AMW and the Dudleyz, back and forth action and I liked the finish. This is the end right? Maybe a rematch on Impact, but not again at Lockdown.

What a finish!! Sweet Shane Music while Sabin is on the X. Great spot right there, this coming form someone who isnt a big fan of spots so take this as the greatest complement ever. Nice mat wrestling between the two though. Very well done. Ill read the rest of it later once my eyes re-focus.

Hooray for Ultimate X:

Team Canada over Naturals/Dutt: Solid pre-show match from all 6 men. It sucks that Dutt and The Naturals have really turned into the token jobbers but I find Team Canada a much better interest right now. They are a true team and a solid team at that.

Aries/Strong over Daniels/Lethal: Good X Division match and a good PPV opener. All 4 worked hard and it played out how I wanted it to. Everyone looked strong and the ending played out nicely. The ending sets up the fall out on Impact and gives people a reason to tune in.

New Crew over Degenerates: Good brawl here but nothing too special. Kudos goes out to Waltman for taking the sick ending bump from Homicide. Now it’s time to split these two teams away from each other and move them on to other things.

Team 3-D over AMW: Basic formula tag match but that’s never a bad thing. Bringing in Stacy was honestly the 3rd choice that we went with. Our first plan was to bring in Spike Dudley but he had prior commitments but told us to keep in contact with him. Our 2nd choice was to have Joey Styles help Team 3-D win because of the ECW connection. Then we got a phone call from Stacy wanting to come in and since she and Team 3-D had previous ties, it worked out nicely. They aren’t big name workers coming over from WWE, but they’re names, and it’s a start. Now do we continue this feud or let it rest?

Michaels over Sabin: Now I made the suggestion to these guys that they should use the X Wires just for the simple fact that aside from the Ultimate X match, nobody ever uses them on the PPV. Well they uses them and I don’t know how they came up with that final fall. Good spots from these men and Michaels is looking like a million bucks right now. Now, I’ve got to deliver on his Lockdown opponent.

Sabu over Rhino & Brown: Glad to see Sabu back and it should be fun to book him in upcoming events. Sick ending with the Rhino Driver through the 4 Flaming Tables and then the Arabian Facebuster with the barbed wire chair. The hardcore PPV trend continues with this match.

Raven over Sting: Trust me, this isn’t over. Both men looked good in this match. Raven worked over the ankle and stole the cheap victory while Sting kept strong by losing cheaply on a bad ankle at that. Lockdown will be brutal with these two.

Shelley over AJ, Joe, & Skipper: Sick spot from these guys. Skipper looked a little weak and didn’t hit a huge spot but honestly, everyone looked good in this match. Joe using the ladder was a nice touch and he could be on to something with that. Shelley finally gets the duke but the way he got it (ladder, not the wires) was the key.

Abyss/Jarrett over Christian/Jericho: Another paint by numbers tag match but once again, it came off well. Abyss pinning Jericho is the key in this thing and the aftermath will be telling on Impact.

So another solid PPV and now we must build for Lockdown.

My Comments: Could be another post today, I’m not sure yet. If there is another post, it will be the Bookers Meeting. Thanks for the review Nathan and the half review SIAG. Everyone watch the NHL Playoffs.

I'm sorry I haven't had time to review yet, I'll hopefully have it up within the next hour or after Lockdown.
