::We return to see Shane Douglas standing with Shane Michaels, Traci, and Lance Hoyt::

Douglas: Shane Michaels, tomorrow night at Destination X, you take on Chris Sabin in what some are calling the biggest match in your career. How do you feel heading into the Iron Man Match?

Michaels: Shane Douglas, clearly you haven’t competed on such a big stage and I can only TEACH you so much. See Shane, when you’re used the big stage like myself, it becomes just another match. This match is no better or bigger than the jobber I wrestled last night. I haven’t adjusted my schedule one bit. This is just another 30 minute match, in the career of Shane Michaels. While Chris Sabin is probably antsy about getting in the ring with a legend such as myself, I’m cool, calm, and collected. Right now, nothing can rattle me. I’ve got the big man Lance Hoyt and the hottest woman in the world Traci watching my back. Shane Douglas, maybe you should ask Chris Sabin how he feels about our match tomorrow night, because I’m feeling like a Hulk Hogan paycheck right now…and not the SummerSlam paycheck.

::Chris Sabin steps into the picture::

Sabin: How do I feel about our match? I feel…why wait until tomorrow night?

Borash: Chris Harris, James Storm, tomorrow night at Destination X, you take on Team 3-D for the NWA Tag Team Titles.

Harris: Borash, how many times have we been through this? How many times have we beaten the living hell out of Team 3-D. You know, those boys got some thick heads to keep coming back and taking the ass kicking we hand out. Tomorrow night, we will deliver some justice, AMW style. We will send Team 3-D back where they belong, on the shelf with no further plans.

Storm: Team 3-D….sorry ‘bout your damn luck boys.

Commercials

::We return to see a triple split screen. The split screens show Rhino, Monty Brown, and Sabu sitting in a dark room. Each man is in a straight jacket::

Styles: Folks what you are seeing is the three participants in tomorrow nights Monsters Ball. Each man has been locked up since earlier tonight and they have all gone without food or water during that time period. Tomorrow night they will be released and will take out their pent up aggression on each other.

::The camera cuts to Christian Cage who is standing backstage by himself::

Christian: Apparently, Shane Michaels sent Shane Douglas home crying, so I will conduct this interview by myself.

::Christian steps to the left::

Christian: Christian Cage, tomorrow night you team with your long time friend and fellow Canadian, Chris Jericho. You guys will take on the tough task of Jeff Jarrett and Abyss. How do you feeling heading into Destination X?

::Christian steps to his right::

Christian: Well Christian, this match is just like any other match in my career. The only difference is, I finally head into the Main Event with a World Title around my waist. Which means, I’m the main target in the ring. I know that Jeff Jarrett and Abyss will be gunning for me tomorrow night. I know that whoever records the pinfall, gets a shot at my belt at Lockdown. I know what I’m up against, I just hope they know what they’re up against.

::Christian steps to his left::

Christian: What do you mean?

::Christian steps to his right::

Christian: See, Jeff Jarrett and Abyss are up against a bond stronger than a tag team. Chris Jericho and myself go way back like two flats on a 1988 Cadillac. Jeff Jarrett and Abyss are up against Christian & Chris, The Canadian Connection, Double C, Two of the best in the world, whatever you want to call us, we know that we can overcome Abyss and Jarrett. And after this commercial break, Chris Jericho will give you a preview, of what you will see tomorrow night.

::Christian steps to his left::

Christian: BECAUSE THAT’S…..HOW WE ROLL

::Christian steps to his right::

Christian: Don’t ever steal my line again.

::Abyss gets in the ring as “What About Me?” hits to a chorus of boos::

Tenay: And here comes the man that has played mind game of sorts with his opponent tomorrow night at Destination X

Styles: And he still feels that he is over-looked in the NWA World Title scene.

Default Re: TNA: Changing The Face Of Pro Wrestling

I was in the middle of reviewing this last night, but I fell asleep, haha. So here it is.

TNA iMPACT! Review:

Skipper, Shelley, Strong vs Styles, Daniels, Joe- Pretty good match, but in my opinion you made Shelley and Strong look really week. You only gave Skipper some offense, but then again you made your bigger stars like Styles and Joe look better, so in the end it balanced out. Written very nicely and I could see the match in my head. Loved Joe turning on AJ, time to see a nice feud between those two.

Michaels/Sabin segment- Nice hype towards the match between the two. You're adding some nice touches to the Shane Michaels gimmick, I like it.

AMW segment- Again, nice hype for the PPV match. AMW was in character and acted like the cocky heels that they are.

Christian promo- This was hilarious. Very original idea and I loved every minute of it, I can really see Christian interviewing himself. Basically just some more hype for the PPV, and in a very humorous way.

Abyss, Raven vs Sting, Jericho- Very good main event, but it was used more for hype rather than to display the TNA wrestlers. Loved everyone brawling towards the end when Christian and Jarret comes out. Abyss and Jarret basically destroy Christian, showing that the champion IS vulnerable.

Overall- It was more of a hype show than anything else, but since you only have one hour to do this and your PPV is almost here, it's a good thing. 9/10. Loved the segments and the ending to the main event. Possibly another match would have been good though, a singles match instead of tag or something. Great job and now I'm ready for the PPV!

What a Christian segment! Wow, that really was great. You advanced all the matches for Destination X, which is hard to do in an hour show and still put on good long matches. Nice job with Impact and Im looking forward to Destination X.

Ok, I figure I would hit you guys with an update since Impact was up a full two days before I had planned (I thought Thursday, I was done on Tuesday). The Impact review will be up tomorrow (Thursday). Also tomorrow, I will probably post the final card for Destination X which of course opens the prediction contest. After that, it's up in the air. I want to do what I did with the last PPV and that's post the three things (Backstage, Promo, PPV) within days of each other instead of two at once and then the PPV weeks later. I plan on working harder on this PPV (I won't lie, I procrastinated on AAO) than I did last time. I'm really excited to type out Ultimate X, Iron Man, and Monsters Ball as I've got some good spots planned for those matches. So that's it I guess, two posts tomorrow then I'll continue to update as the PPV rolls along.

March 12th 2006

The hard sell for Destination X:

*Styles, Joe, Daniels over Strong, Shelley, Skipper: Solid match from these 6 and built two of the X Division Matches. Good animosity from all 4 in Ultimate X with Skipper refusing to save Shelley, AJ hitting Joe, and Joe attacking AJ. The heels came out a bit weak but honestly, they were taking on the three top guys in the X Division. I know keeping them strong would have shown that they could “hang” with those three, but really, in my opinion, no three man team can “hang” with those three. That’s no knock on anyone else, just a huge compliment to Joe, Styles, and Daniels.

*Michaels/Sabin Segment: Nice shoot comments from Michaels as they fit in with his interview and weren’t just out there. Just some hype for the Iron Man Match.

*AMW Segment: More hype with another fit in shoot comment.

*Monsters Ball Segment: More hype.

*Christian Segment: Ok, Christian and Shelley need to cut a side by side promo because both of these guys are gold. Good hype from Christian, which of course was the theme of the night.

*Abyss & Raven over Sting & Jericho: Now this was a hype match mixed in with a “shocking moment”. A few key things happened in the build towards Destination X: Abyss injuring Jericho, Christian stepping in for his friend, and Raven working the ankle of Sting. Keep an eye on those things.

Overall it was a good “go home” episode of Impact. The PPV was built nicely and both matches were given proper time. The PPV should be fun tonight.

My Comments: Pshhhhhh, Hockey owns you all.

Hockey does own us all doesnt it...except Lacrosse. Lacrosse owns all.

Honestly the PPV sounds amazing, and if you write it the incredible way you always do, it could be one of the best PPVs in a long, long time in BTB threads.

Wild Card Question #5: Will there be any surprise guests?

Call The Spot: Ok, this is something new to hopefully eliminate ties (something I was upset with last month). It’s pretty simple, just make up a huge spot (ex. Skipper tight rope walks the X Wires to the X Division Title) and I will use the best one in the match. The one I chose gets one extra point and that can hopefully be a deciding factor. If this doesn’t work out, I’ll drop it, but I want to test this out. Any questions about this, just ask. And yes, it can be used for any match, so don’t limit yourself to just Ultimate X. Only one spot though.

Ok, so answer the Wild Card Questions, Bold the winners, and Call The Spot. Good luck everyone.

Call the Spot: Sabu places chair in front of the ropes and while Brown and Rhino are fighting on the outside, Sabu runs up the chair and leaps and nails a huge plancha onto both Rhino and Brown
