Great job. I gotta admit though, Im a little disapointed it was Jericho. That just seemed a little to obvious, same with X Pac. However, Jericho made one hell of an impact, haha I made a pun, on his first night. Kinda made up for that, nicely done But you didnt disapoint with Konan and Apollo's parnter. I definatly didnt see Killings being the third man. Ahh, Dreamer. Shoulda saw that coming from a mile away. But my gut told me Sandman considering Dreamer's still under contract with WWE. Good to see Raven win it.Final Resolution was worth the wait. Cant wait to see the fallout on Impact. You seem to have a lot of worthy No.1 Contenders on your hands (CC, Sting, Jericho, Raven)I cant waint to see what you got up your sleeve for Against All Odds.

Damn, what a PPV. It seemed like everything clicked last night at Final Resolution.

Team Canada defeated The Naturals: Nice tag match to open up the show. Devine got himself back into the Team Canada fray and the Naturals kept their heat since Team Canada needed the hockey stick to win.

The Outlaws & Sean Waltman defeated Konnan, Apolo, & Ron Killings: The DQ finish of course sets up for this storyline to advance a bit further. Which is what I was aiming for since I didnít push Killings to be the mystery man. Waltman was sort of a predictable partner for The Outlaws but I donít think many people saw Killings coming.

Austin Aries defeated Roderick Strong: Big things are headed for these two. They put on a very good match considering their time limit. Aries sold the back injury very well and Strong did a good job focusing on the back throughout the match. The X Division is better than ever at this point.

Raven defeated Tommy Dreamer: It was nice to get the rights to ďMan In A BoxĒ for the night. It made the crowd reaction much better that they recognized the theme. It was also nice to get Dreamer for the night. It sort of sucked that they had to hold back a bit because I didnít want the Hell On Earth guys to repeat anything. The embracing at the end was also nice and it showed that Dreamer was only there for the night. But hey, we took a WWE talent and they had no damn idea. Raven earns a title shot and now Iíve got a lot of thinking to do.

Alex Shelley Wins 6 Points Of Impact: Who in the hell saw that coming? Most people were expecting AJ because heís AJ and others were expecting Skipper because of the push Iíve been giving him. Well I shocked some people when I put Shelley over. I like Alex Shelley, heís great talent in the ring and heís very good on the mic. Plus he has an awesome gimmick with the Shelley Cam and itís simple but effective booking with him. AJ is always going to be over so he didnít really need the win. Skipper outlasted top X Division guys like Sabin, Williams, and Bentley. It was just a very good X Division match.

Samoa Joe defeated Christopher Daniels: It was good to get the rights to ďThe Champ Is Here.Ē I loved that theme song ever since I saw Joe use it in ROH. The match itself was very good. Daniels brought the fight too Joe and went after the knee. Daniels just did everything in his power to win but Joe was just the better man. Also having Alex Shelley come out in the middle of the match to scout Joe with the Shelley came just shows how easy it is to book Shelleyís gimmick. Shelley vs. Joe at AAO should impress.

Team Christian defeats Team Jarrett: This match was all about Abyss. There was a reason why entered first and was the last man eliminated. I wanted to build Abyss as a serious World Title threat and I did. The rest of the work is up to James Mitchell. Sting looked good in his first match back which is a good thing. Everyone else did their thing and it came off as a good brawl. Chris Jericho coming in just rules. Was it a bit predictable? Possibly, but come on, itís Chris Jericho, you canít argue with that. Jericho did his thing last night. He came in, hit Jarrett with a guitar, and played to the crowd. That leaves the door wide open for him to explain everything on Impact. And Iíll give him as much time as he wants to explain.

So Final Resolution came off very well. Now itís up to me to build up Against All Odds. And to do that, I must meet with my partners.

My Comments: Thanks for the comments on the PPV. Iíll post the contest results tomorrow and the bookers meeting tomorrow. CyA.

TNA Bookers Meeting

DíAmore: Guys, another home run last night with Final Resolution. Everything just seemed to go off perfectly. But now, where do we go heading into Against All Odds?

Me: Well letís look at whatís already set up. Shelley and Joe are pretty much booked, theyíve just got to do their thing. Everything else is up for grabs I guess.

Taylor: Well if you look at the main event scene, we have far too many contenders. Do we blow them off in a King Of The Mountain Match?

Me: Too predictable. Not only that, but I donít like the match.

Jarrett: You got any better ideas?

Me: At this moment? No, but give me a day and Iíll come up with something creative

Jarrett: Fine, but if you have nothing by the tapings tomorrow, weíre going with a King Of Mountain Match.

Me: Sounds like a deal

Tenay: Well what about AJ and Daniels? They are two of our biggest names and now theyíre out of the X Title picture for the month

Me: Good. Donít get me wrong, I love AJ and Daniels and I respect all their work but theyíve been in the title picture since TNA went to Monthly PPVs. Those guys need a break from the X title, theyíre over with or without the belt.

Tenay: So what are your plans for them?

Me: Simple. _______________________________________________

DíAmore: Ok, now the tag division. Everyone is expecting AMW vs. Team 3-D. Do we deliver this month?

Me: No, we hold off for a month and give them ____________________ this month. Then at the New PPV, we let them battle. Iím booking a little ahead of myself guys and Iíve got big plans for the New PPV.

Borash: New PPV? What about Destination X?

Me: What about it? Destination X was probably the worst TNA PPV in 05, Iím going to wash that taste out of everyoneís mouth and bring them a new PPV.

Jarrett: So now you create PPV names?

Me: Hey, you can come up with the name if you want, but Iím going to book it the same.

Jarrett: You know what, I like that idea. Iíll come up with the new PPV name for March.

Me: Donít think too hard

DíAmore: Calm down. Ok, so what else is left to talk about? Lambert, anyone you want to bring in to help the company out?

Me: Not at this moment. But I have a feeling that Iím going to want a big name or two by June or so. So hereís what I want from you guys. Write me a list of 3 guys that you want out of the company and give me a legit reason. Now these votes will be private so donít worry about a leak. We need to cut some money around here and sadly that means we have to let some people go. And donít worry; Iíll break the news to them so you donít have to. I know I donít have the power to fire anyone but all of us in this room know that our roster is way too stacked. I can only book so many people in one hour. Just give me a list and Iíll look it over.

Jarrett: And we can vote for anyone?

Me: Sure, vote for Chris Jericho if you want but Iím using Chris Jericho so Iíll spit on your vote because itís not cool.

Jarrett: Is that a WWEism?

Me: Sure is. I watch the WWE Product to see what weíre up against. Did you guys happen to catch New Years Revolution? Aside from Edge winning the title, it sucked. I want our PPVs to always out do WWE PPVs in quality. I donít care if they out sell us by 1 billion buys, Iíll sleep better knowing that Daniels and Joe put on a better match than their entire PPV. And then the word will start to spread.

Taylor: You know the Royal Rumble is in Miami and Raw is in Orlando the next night.

Me: Yeah, I saw that on their schedule but paid it no mind. I donít want to go there with guys like Abyss, Joe, and Christian and fuck up their show because they can counter act at our shows. I just want to see the crowd reaction they get in our backyard.

Jarrett: Ok, off the subject of WWE.

Me: Ok, what else would you like to talk about Jeff?

Jarrett: I donít care, just end the WWE talk, itís sickening.

Tenay: What about Don West? I noticed that you booked a lot of guest commentators recently on Impact.

Me: Iím glad you brought him up Mike. Don is a good commentator but tends to stumble and get too excited. I donít want to fire him because heís been here since the start. I would like to use him in a backstage interviewer role since all he has to do is ask the easy questions.

Tenay: And who replaces him?

Me: Donít worry about that.

DíAmore: Ok boys, itís getting late so take off. Iíll see everyone at the Impact Tapings tomorrow.

My Comments: Eh, I'm not very happy with this segment but whatver. Backstage Impact stuff could be up tonight considering thereís no hockey or wrestling on tonight. Gone until then.

Im glad you're not doing a KOTM match, cause that's just to obvious. But you do have a lot Its a good idea to cut the dead weight. I dont see Cassidy Reily or Shark Boy lasting too much longer. I wonder if you're going to do anything with Lance Hoyt, he hasnt been doing much of anything. Im looking forward to Impact.

This guy just said good post. I am sure that you all realize that you need to be more detailed than that. This should be not tarnished because some troglodyte is bored.

Writer of this thread, I watched TNA for the first time Saturday, so I am interested in your thread. I will read the whole thing sometime this week, and tell you what I think.

Review up late because of comp problems

Team Canada defeated The Naturals: Nice way to open the show, I like how you are still keeping Team Canada strong with the hockey stick finish 6/10

The Outlaws & Sean Waltman defeated Konnan, Apolo, & Ron Killings: Surprised to see Killings as the LAX mystery partner. Nice necessary DQ finish. 6/10

Austin Aries defeated Roderick Strong: Nice X-Division match, I hope you push these guys some more. 7/10

Raven defeated Tommy Dreamer: Not surprised to see it being Dreamer, this match reminds me why I miss ECW, great ladder match 9/10

Alex Shelley Wins 6 Points Of Impact: SURPRISED. I was so expecting Skipper, but hey it was a great match anyway. Nice touch having the managers absent from ringside. 9/10

Samoa Joe defeated Christopher Daniels: Nice solid match between these two, glad that Joe went over, canít wait for Joe vs. Shelley 8/10

Team Christian defeats Team Jarrett: Very solid match, lived up to the hype of being brutal. Like the push Abyss got throughout this match. Also nice to see Jericho back with an old catchphrase. 8/10

Final Verdict- 7/10 I was very entertained by this show. Got some very nice surprises in there. Canít wait to see the fallout on Impact

That was my first ever review, hope it was good, sorry it was late.

Backstage At Impact Tapings

I ended up at the arena early in order to touch up some booking decisions. While everyone was arriving, I stayed isolated in the office. I left the office and headed to the locker room. I walked in and got everyoneís attention.

Me: Guys, calm down for a second. Thanks. Ummm, I just want to thank everyone for all their hard work theyíve put in over this past month. You guys are really making my job easy. You keep giving me the same effort and WWE will have no choice but to take us serious. You keep working your ass off for me and Iíll work my ass off for you. So yeah, I just want to thank everyone for their efforts. I also want to give a special thanks to guys like Raven, Christian, and DíAmore because without them, we wouldnít have had our two big surprises show up.

Christian: This isnít the Oscarís

Me: You damn right itís not the Oscarís. This is TN fucking A. Home of the best fucking workers in the business. And donít you guys forget it.

Everyone seemed riled up after that little speech, which was a good thing. After that, I went up to Tenay, Borash, DíAmore, and Taylor to collect their slips. I had no intentions on reading them yet. Hell, I had no intentions on reading them until after Against All Odds. Why? I had already booked the month in my mind and I wasnít going to let their opinions screw around with my head. I stashed them away in a safe place. I walked up to Jarrett to collect his slip and talks about our bets.

Me: You got your votes?

Jarrett: Of course I have my votes Lambert.

He handed me his slip and I put it in my pocket.

Jarrett: Now, you got your little gimmick match throw together?

Me: Of course.

Jarrett: So what is it?

Me: Just like last time Jeff, youíll know when the rest of the boys know. And thatís when we shoot Zybskoís backstage segment.

Jarrett: You just love toying with me donít you kid?

Me: I must say, it does put a smile on my face. Now, do you have a PPV name?

Jarrett: Of course, I was thinking about King Of The Mountain.

Me: Yes because we already have a nickname and a match called King Of The Mountain. So of course we need to name the PPV King Of The Mountain.

Jarrett: Ok, what about Planet TNA.

Me: So basically Planet Jarrett, just with a little twist?

Jarrett: Exactly

Me: Wow, how long did it take you to come up with these?

Jarrett: Ok, do you have any better ideas?

Me: Yeah, I was thinking Starrcade.

Jarrett: Starrcade? Doesnít WWE own all the WCW trademarks?

Me: The only PPV trademark they own is Great American Bash.

Jarrett: So youíre serious about this?

Me: Of course. Whatís the one PPV you associated with NWA? Starrcade. Maybe it will bring in some old WCW and NWA fans.

Jarrett: Good luck with that kid.

He walked away after that. Was I serious about using the name Starrcade? Hell yeah, was I possibly looking at hiring a good legal counsel? Hell yeah.

Results For The 1/21 Show:

*Abyss defeats Lance Hoyt

*Austin Aries defeats Jay Lethal & Petey Williams

*Monty Brown draws Rhino

Results For The 1/28 Show:

*Alex Shelley defeats Matt Bentley

*Chris Harris defeats Brother Ray & Chase Stevens & Bobby Roode

*Abyss defeats Jeff Jarrett

My Comments: Thanks for the review BJ088, looked like the correct format to me. Donít worry about the lateness, Iím just happy to hit over 1,000 views. I didnít think I could keep this going. Anyway, Impact preview will be up tomorrow and the actual show may make it up tomorrow.

From TNAWrestling.Com:

1/21 iMPACT! Preview

The fall out from Final Resolution has arrived and what a show it will be. Larry Zybsko has promised to clear up the World Title picture on Impact.

Speaking of the World Title picture, The Monster Abyss lasted throughout Hell On Earth and will be in one on one action this Saturday against The Ticked Off Texan Lance Hoyt. Will Abyss be 100% to take on Big Lance?

In X Division action, Austin Aries is out to prove that his big win against Roderick Strong was no fluke as he takes on newcomer Jay Lethal and X Division veteran, Petey Williams in 3-way action.

X Division Number One Contender, Alex Shelley will be interview by our own Shane Douglas on Impact. Shelley will tell us how he won 6 Points Of Impact and the secret to beating current X Division Champion, Samoa Joe.

In the Main Event, The Man Best Rhino takes on The Alpha Male Monty Brown in one on one action. Both these men went through Hell On Earth at Final Resolution and now both men are out to prove that they belong in the TNA World Title Picture.

Oh but thatís not all folks. TNAís biggest acquisition to date, Y2J Chris Jericho will be given a live mic on Impact. What will the first ever Undisputed Champion have to say about his past, present, and future?

ALL THIS AND MORE SATURDAY AT 11 PM ON SPIKETV!
