Doddsy's Raw Review

Opening Segment
Nice promo here, i liked it how Stone Cold just started a petition of his own. Santino was in character, so basically he was hilarious. Both guys were in character, great promo

Segment 2
Good, good that you have Umaga back under the crazy gimmick thing, so that with out Armando, he can't control himself and just beats up people

John Cena & Chris Jericho vs The Redneck Wrecking Crew
Nice solid match, nothing too special during it. I liked the end, with Orton hitting Cena with the chair, tossing it to Y2J so that Cena thought Jericho did it.

Segment 3
I liked this Holly/Rhodes segment, thinking that Rhodes will stuff up during Holly's rematch for the belt.

Segment 4

Nice segment here, hopefully Umaga beats up Coach later, would just be funny.

John Morrison vs CM Punk
Great match, nice finish with the no contest, the triple threat match should be great. I wasn't too keen on Punk hitting the GTS just before Carlito came out, it makes Morrison look weak.

Segment 5
LOL at Marella calling a fan a perve. Will Austin actually beat up Marella or what?

Segment 6
C'mon Umaga, attack Coach

Umaga vs RVD
Good match, surprised with the result. IMO, there wasn't much use to RVD beating up Umaga with a chair and then HHH coming out and hitting him with a Pedigree, no point really. RVD isn't on the PPV or feuding with anyone, it wouldn't have hurt him to lose cleanly.

Womens title match
Beth Phoenix(c) vs Melina

Wasn't sure about the heel vs heel title match, bit weird when there are multiple faces that could have been used.

Segment 7
This interview was alright, I see Mr. Kennedy and Orton winning at the PPV for some reason

Intercontinental Championship match
Carlito(c) vs Hardcore Holly

Ahhhh, Rhodes turns on Holly. Expecting a match soon, obvious result though as Carlito was already in a match against John Morrison and CM Punk.

HHH and Jeff Hardy vs Mr. Kennedy and Randy Orton
Loved it how Vince lead HHH into Umaga while Orton and Kennedy pinned Hardy. Shane might be in trouble after that brutal assault

Overall
I enjoyed the show, your a good writer. No negatives to point out, nothing too special either, nice solid show
8/10

Thought that I'd drop by and see what you've got going in here. This is my first time to check your thread out since you split off with F-D but I'm interested to see how you are faring as a singles booker.

I'll be honest. There really wasn't too much to the opening promo to really get into it at all. I saw some grammar mistakes and all but not only that it just didn't excite me too much. I'm really looking forward to the main event though as Burke and Cor Von both get a bit of main event time here on Raw which is always cool.

So you've got Kash and Noble feuding. Seems a bunch of people do that or still have them teaming too. Interesting to note there and I'd like to see Noble take the win as he needs it more than Kash.

Ooo. I liked this promo better than the opening one. I'd love to see a Flair/Batista feud as there never really was a proper one on TV after Evolution broke off. It'd be cool if you are hinting at doing that later on.

Um nothing really major here. Seems Palumbo and Masters are tangled in a small feud right now. Don't really know much about it so I won't say too much on it.

Eh didn't really care too much before the promo that went on before the match. Shame Noble had to lose to Undertaker and get squashed. Makes the CW title look weak imo but really in WWE at this time it was weak. Noble really does need to get a win in that first match now for sure.

Okayish promo from Finlay. It wasn't really anything special but I see you are playing off the Kane/Finlay feud that took place at SummerSlam lsat year. Good to see you continue that as it had potential but was blown over pretty quick.

Hmmm, weird tag match here. It was obvious from the get go that Guerrero and Dykstra stood no chance at all and were just going to be fed to Flair and Batista. I liked the ending though. Pretty creative and really makes me think once Batista is done with Undertaker that we'll be seeing Flair vs. Batista down the road.

Cool to see Finlay interfere and get involved and gets Regal a big win. I like the faction you have with Regal, Taylor, and McIntyre. Fundamental announcement there for No Mercy afterwards. I'd like to see Finlay win the match but Kane is most likely going to go over.

Oooo, good main event and I thought this was going to end the night but I was wrong.Pretty much skimming over it, I'd most likely think Edge is going to walk in as the champion and then walk out. Him getting the last laugh was good despite Mysterio's team getting the win. I can't see Mysterio won't win because I think you had him have a title run back in your old thread but anything is possible.

I don't really think a Contract Signign was needed here tonight. I can understand it for the no touch rule but that should have been put in effect earlier. Then they turn around and break the rule right there? Weird and makes me wonder if there really is a purpose for this ruling by the GM?

Overall OK show. Saw some grammar errors throughout the show and some confusing things booked but still you seem to be doing a good job here by yourself.

Kane01, I've followed your thread in bits and pieces from the start. Things seem to be going along smoothly for you. I've read over the last Raw and SD shows. I'll drop some predictions now and I'll definitely try and get some feedback up for No Mercy.

Jamie Noble v Kid Kash

GRUDGE MATCH
Finlay v Kane

GRUDGE MATCH
Triple H v Umaga

TAG TEAM MATCH

If Cena, Jericho or Kennedy get the winning pinfall they face Randy Orton at Survivor Series. If Orton gets the winning pinfall he chooses his opponent at Survivor Series.

HELL IN A CELL (Number 1 Contender Match)
Batista v The Undertaker

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Matt Hardy and MVP (C) v New Breed (Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von)

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Carlito © v CM Punk v John Morrison

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Edge © v Rey Mysterio

2.Who will get the winning pinfall and on who during the Chris Jericho and John Cena v Ken Kennedy and Randy Orton tag team match? Jericho on Kennedy.

3.Will MVP or Matt Hardy turn on one another during their WWE Tag Team Championship Match. No, I don't think so. I think they'll lose which will cause unrest.

4.What will be the match of the night? Hell in a Cell.

Just an update on No Mercy, so far progress is going well and going to plan (Unlike me) and have so far wrote four matches including the Hell in a Cell, World Heavyweight Title match, Umaga/HHH and the Cruiserweight match. A preview was going to be posted today, but just found out that i haven't saved my preview so that won't be posted but expect a newsbit to be posted in the next few days. If things continue to go to plan, No Mercy should be posted on the 26th March.

Also at the moment my main focus on reviews is KOP's Royal Rumble, Wolfy's Summerslam and Doddsy's Royal Rumble. For the rest I owe reviews to, i will try and get reviews up for your next shows, if not definatley the show after that lol.

News and Notes
Source: pwtorch.com

Two hours before the No Mercy event...

With just a few hours before No Mercy, many WWE members are very much anticipating the PPV and confidant that it will be one of the better PPV outings of the year.

The Hell In A Cell match between Batista and The Undertaker is expected to main event, and as expected is planned to be the longest and best match of the night. The main event currently expected for Wrestlemania is The Undertaker versus Edge, so it is very expectant that with the start of a big heel push on verge Batista will win the match. However a lot of the WWE Booking Team do not want a Heel v Heel match at Survivor Series. So some sort of dodgy finish that leads to both men getting a Title Shot at Survivor Series would not be surprising.

Another match that is expected to go long is the Tag Team match involving Chris Jericho and John Cena versus Ken Kennedy and Randy Orton with Vince McMahon in their corner. It Is fully expected that one of Chris Jericho or John Cena will get the winning pinfall to give them a title shot at Survivor Series, but it is very 50/50 on who will be the man to get the title shot. Ken Kennedy and Randy Orton are both reportedly upset in the leadup to the match, with Ken Kennedy believing that he has not had as much mic time as the other three men in the match have, while Randy Orton is upset about the whole Chris Jericho/Vince McMahon bastard son storyline has been overshadowing his WWE Title reign because of his part in the New Corporation. But apparently both men have been reassured, and it is expected that a lot of focus will be put on hyping Orton’s Survivor Series title match and Ken Kennedy has been told he will receive a big push in the near future.

In other news Shawn Michaels has been seen backstage. There are no plans for him to be on PPV tonight or TV in the next few weeks, but he has told many of his close friends that he expects to be back on TV by the end of the year.

Also backstage tonight are former TNA superstars “Wildcat” Chris Harris and Ron “The Truth” Killings. Like Shawn Michaels neither man are expected to appear any time soon, both men have just recently signed with the WWE and are expected to spend the next few months down in Ohio Valley Wrestling. There are rumours going around that WWE might contact James Storm to team up with Chris Harris in the WWE in the future, as it is believed that his TNA contract will be ending in the next six weeks.

No Mercy has been completely finished! I am just going to do a quick check over, and look for No Mercy to be posted tomorrow afternoon.

WWE NO MERCY!

*Pyro*

*Pyro*

*Pyro*

*Pyro*

*Pyro*

We pan around the arena, with thousands of enthusiastic WWE fans cheering and showing us their signs as Fast Fuse by Kasabian plays over the loud speakers. We then cut to ringside, to Michael Cole and JBL.

Michael Cole: WELCOME EVERYBODY TO WWE NO MERCY! I’m Michael Cole and alongside me is John Bradshaw Layfield. Tonight, three Championships will be on the line, including the World Heavyweight Championship!

JBL: That’s not all Michael, as we will see the final chapter to the greatest rivalry in recent times, as Batista will take on The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell Match!

Cole: I cannot wait for this one John, the two most dominant forces in the WWE clashing one more time! Anyway that’s enough from us for now. Lets send it over to our Raw colleagues JR, and Jerry the King Lawler.

We then cut to the Raw Announce Table with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

JR: Thanks Michael….There is no doubt that this is going to be one hell of a night King. Tonight we will witness quite possibly the biggest Tag Team Match of all time, as the WWE Champion Randy Orton teams up with Ken Kennedy to face John Cena and Chris Jericho!

King: The question, which everyone is asking JR, is how can John Cena and Chris Jericho can coexist tonight. And I can’t wait to see what goes down in this one JR.

JR: Also tonight Triple H goes one on one with Umaga, but lets kick off with some Triple Threat Action.

“ This Fire Burns” hits and CM Punk comes out to a thunderous pop from his hometown crowd. CM Punk slaps hands with fans at ringside, before entering the ring and saluting his hometown crowd.

JR: What a way to kick off the night, with CM Punk who can quite possibly win the Intercontinental Title in his hometown here tonight.

King: There was a lot of controversy JR about the way he lost the ECW Title to Randy Orton, one night after he won the belt. So this is his chance to right the wrongs from his ECW Title reign.

“Now Listen” hits and John Morrison comes out to some heat from the Chicago Crowd. He makes his traditional flashy (Awesome) entrance, before entering the ring and locking eyes with CM Punk.

JR: John Morrison and CM Punk have had a lot of problems in the past King, two months ago at Summerslam they were fighting over the ECW Championship. And tonight they are fighting over the Intercontinental Championship.

King: Who cares JR what about this entrance? Why don’t we have an entrance like John Morrison’s?

JR: If we were 40 years younger King, maybe we could.

“I spit in the face” hits and Carlito comes out to some big heat from the crowd. Carlito at the top of the ramp looks at his Intercontinental Title, and points to his opponents stating that they won’t win this belt.

King: JR this is unfair on Carlito. Carlito does not even have to get pinned to lose his title tonight, das not cool.

JR: The odds are definitely not favouring the Intercontinental Champion Carlito.

Match 1
Triple Threat for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Carlito © v CM Punk v John Morrison

The bell rings to officially start the match, and straight from the bell John Morrison and Carlito start ambushing CM Punk. Morrison and Punk start pounding away at CM Punk into the corner, before starting to stomp a mudhole in him against the turnbuckle. Morrison and Carlito whip CM Punk off the ropes, and they go to catch Punk off the ropes with a clothesline, but Punk ducks and comes back with a clothesline of his own taking both Carlito and Morrison down. CM Punk then starts to clean house; taking both men down with armdrag take downs followed by dropkicks. CM Punk lifts Carlito to his feet, and starts attacking him with repeated slaps and backhand chops, followed by a roundhouse kick to the gut of Carlito taking him back into the corner. CM Punk viciously chops away at Carlito in the corner, as John Morrison gets to his feet. John Morrison explodes from behind Punk and goes for a clothesline, but Punk has eyes in the back of his head and Morrison hits Carlito with the clothesline! CM Punk then starts unleashing with some hard right hands to the face of John Morrison, backing him into the opposite corner of Carlito. CM Punk then switches direction and connects with a charging knee to the face of Carlito in the other corner! CM Punk goes for the bulldog on Carlito, but he sees Morrison charging towards him, so Punk leaps his legs onto the shoulders of Morrison, and connects with a headlock takedown and Headscissors combo taking both Carlito and Morrison out with one impressive move! Morrison and Carlito then get to their feet and stagger back against the ropes together, as CM Punk charges up at them, and takes the pair over the top rope to the outside with a clothesline!

“CM Punk” chants echo around the arena, as on the outside John Morrison and Carlito slowly get up to their feet together. They however do not realise CM Punk climbing up to the top rope. They then turn around, and CM Punk soars through the air taking down both Morrison and Carlito on the outside with a Crossbody Dive! The crowd continues to chant “CM Punk”, appreciating that high-risk move as CM Punk gets to his feet. CM Punk chooses Carlito as his victim, as he rolls Carlito into the ring and makes the first cover of the night, but Carlito kicks out at one. Punk then locks on a side headlock onto Carlito, who quickly gets to his feet and switches behind CM Punk wrapping his arms around Punk’s waist. Carlito then runs with Punk against the ropes, and he goes to roll him over backwards into a pinning predicament, but Punk holds onto the top rope letting Carlito roll on his own. Punk then charges up at Carlito who catches him with a hip toss, but Punk lands on his feet and goes for a clothesline, but Carlito and charges to the ropes. He goes for a springboard back elbow, but Punk moves out of the way and Carlito lands on his feet. Carlito then turns around to see Punk jumping onto the middle rope, and Punk dives at Carlito dropping him head first to the mat with a TORNADO DDT! CM Punk then drops down to make the cover 1…. 2…. Carlito kicks out. CM Punk then lifts Carlito to his feet and backs him into the corner, with some chest reddening chops to the chest. Punk whips Carlito into the opposite corner and charges up, only to receive a face full of boot. Punk staggers around holding onto his jaw, and Carlito goes to take advantage quickly as he rolls Punk up into a cover 1…. 2…. Punk kicks out. Carlito quickly gets to his feet and bounces off the ropes, but as he comes back he is met with an impressive leaping dropkick to the jaw by CM Punk who makes the cover again 1…. 2…. Carlito kicks out.

Carlito quickly gets to his feet and backs off to the corner, but Punk grabs him by the hair and pushes him back against the ropes. Punk whips Carlito off the ropes and goes to catch him with a clothesline, but Carlito ducks and quickly rolls him up showing his urgency to finish this match early 1…. 2…. Kickout. Both men get to their feet and Punk catches Carlito with a kick to the gut and throws some hard right hands, but Carlito ducks one of them and rolls up CM Punk once more 1…. 2…. CM Punk shoves Carlito off him and right into John Morrison on the ring apron taking him back to the outside. Carlito then turns around and charges up at CM Punk who catches him with a headlock takedown. Carlito keeps the hold locked on, but he is caught by surprise by Punk who rolls him over into a pinning predicament 1…. 2…. Carlito rolls Punk back over into the side headlock. Punk fights his way back to his feet however, and pushes Carlito off the ropes and catches him with a shoulder block takedown. CM Punk then starts pounding away at Carlito against the ropes with some hard right hands. CM Punk then goes to whip Carlito off the ropes, and Carlito has to duck on his way to the ropes as John Morrison goes to catch him with a Springboard Seated Senton, and instead lands right in front of CM Punk. CM Punk goes to hit Morrison with a superkick, but Morrison smartly ducks and the superkick instead takes down Carlito. CM Punk then turns around into John Morrison who connects with a standing enzuigiri to the back of CM Punk’s head!

John Morrison then lifts Punk to his feet and throws a hard right hand, followed by another, before kicking him in the mid section and getting him up in a front facelock. John Morrison connects with a snap suplex and he makes the cover 1…. 2…. Punk kicks out just before 3. John Morrison then lifts Punk back to his feet and backs him to the corner with a hard right hand, followed by a kick to the gut. John Morrison then takes a few steps back, before taking CM Punk nearly out of his boots with a turnbuckle clothesline. Morrison then leads Punk away from the corner and starts clubbing away at Punk’s back, but CM Punk starts fighting back hitting Morrison with some hard right hands. Punk then goes to whip Morrison off the ropes but Morrison counters, and he ducks down too early allowing CM Punk to kick him square in the face. CM Punk then bounces off the ropes, but from out of nowhere Carlito gets in the ring and takes Punk over the top rope to the outside with a Clothesline. Carlito then takes down John Morrison by the legs and he catapults him over the top rope, but Morrison holds onto the top rope and Carlito refuses to notice this as he starts celebrating like he won the match. Meanwhile John Morrison scales the ring apron and climbs up onto the top rope, he waits for Carlito to turn around before coming off with a picture perfect diving Crossbody and he hooks the legs 1…. 2…. Carlito kicks out! Both men reach their feet and John Morrison bounces off the ropes, and comes back with a Satellite Spin into Russian Leg Sweep! Morrison again makes the cover 1…. 2…. This time Punk breaks the count.

CM Punk and John Morrison then go at it exchanging hard right hands with Punk getting the better of John Morrison. Punk goes to whip Morrison off the ropes, but Morrison holds on and goes to pull Punk into a clothesline but Punk ducks and then hoists Morrison onto his shoulders setting him up for the Go To Sleep. Carlito rushes from behind however and tips both men up over the top rope to the outside. Carlito then stands on the ring apron as both Morrison and Punk reach their feet, and he goes for a Springboard Moonsault on both men and he hits the move on CM Punk but John Morrison moves out of the way at just the right time! John Morrison then lifts Carlito to his feet and viciously throws him shoulder first into the steel ring post! John Morrison then rolls Carlito into the ring and makes the cover 1…. 2…. Carlito kicks out. John Morrison then goes to whip Carlito off the ropes, but Carlito counters and goes for a clothesline, but Morrison comes back with off the ropes with a kick to the gut followed by an overhead Capoeira kick. John Morrison then knocks CM Punk off the apron before making the cover again 1…2…Carlito kicks out. John Morrison then sits on Carlito’s chest and starts pounding away at him with some forearm shots. John Morrison then lifts Carlito to his feet and knocks him back against the ropes with a hard right hand before whipping him off the ropes. Carlito ducks a clothesline and then goes for a springboard moonsault on Morrison who moves out of the way, and then turns around into Carlito who connects with a Jumping Hurricarana! John Morrison quickly gets to his feet and goes for a clothesline, but Carlito ducks and connects with the OVERDRIVE! Carlito notices Punk getting back into the ring so he charges up at him, but PUNK CATCHES HIM WITH AN URANAGE SLAM AND HE LOCKS ON THE ANACONDA VICE! Carlito yells in agony, but thankfully for him John Morrison quickly makes the save.

John Morrison immediately whips Punk off the ropes, but ducks down too early and Punk comes back with a kick square to the face. CM Punk then sets Morrison up, and connects with a double underhook backbreaker onto John Morrison who then rolls out of the ring holding onto his back. Punk then goes after Carlito pounding away at him into the corner of the ring. Punk then drags Carlito into the centre of the ring and hits a snap suplex and makes the cover 1…. 2…. Carlito kicks out. Punk then stomps Carlito in the head, before dragging him to his feet and whipping him off the ropes. Carlito jumps onto the middle rope and goes for a springboard back elbow, but Punk catches Carlito in mid air hitting a back suplex onto the Champion. Punk then makes the cover 1…. 2…. John Morrison breaks the count. John Morrison clubs away at the back of Punk before sending him into the turnbuckle. Morrison charges up but Punk catches him with a flapjack face first onto the turnbuckle before speeding off the ropes. Punk comes back off the ropes but runs straight into a SUPERKICK by John Morrison! John Morrison gets to his feet and a smirk appears on his face, but then from behind Carlito jumps onto Morrison’s shoulders and goes for a victory roll 1…. 2…. Morrison kicks out. Both men get to their feet and Carlito takes down Morrison with a dropkick. Carlito then lifts up CM Punk and starts chopping away at him in the corner, before going over to John Morrison and starts chopping away at him in the opposite corner. Carlito then whips John Morrison into CM Punk, but John Morrison jumps onto the middle rope. JOHN MORRISON THEN HITS A MONKEY FLIP TO CM PUNK RIGHT INTO THE PATH OF CARLITO WHO CATCHES HIM IN MID AIR WITH A DROPKICK!

Carlito then goes for the cover as a very small “Holy Shit” chant is heard from the crowd 1…. 2…. John Morrison breaks the count. John Morrison then drags Carlito into the corner and drives his shoulder into the sternum of the Champion, before lifting him onto the top rope. John Morrison climbs up to the top rope and looks to go for the superplex on Carlito, when CM Punk shakes the top rope and Morrison falls crown jewels on the top rope. Carlito then hits John Morrison with a hard right hand, causing Morrison to fall back into the Tree of Woe position. Carlito goes to push Morrison off, when from out of nowhere CM Punk athletically jumps onto the top rope and he and Carlito exchange hard right hands in a very dangerous place. CM Punk gets the better of Carlito and sets him up for the superplex, as John Morrison sits up and grabs CM Punk around the waist. AND JOHN MORRISON HITS A GERMAN SUPLEX TO PUNK WHO AT THE SAME TIME HITS A SUPERPLEX OFF THE TOP ROPE TO CARLITO! Much bigger “Holy Shit” chants are now echoed around the arena as all three men are down on the mat. John Morrison suffered the least out of that move and he crawls over to Carlito and makes the cover 1…. 2…. Carlito gets his shoulder off the mat! A frustrated John Morrison hits a low dropkick to Carlito taking him to the outside of the ring. John Morrison then goes after CM Punk stomping away at him into the corner of the ring, before lifting him up to his feet and hitting him with a stinging chop to the chest. Morrison then whips Punk to the opposite corner running just behind him, but Punk leaps onto the middle rope and hits a springboard crossbody making the cover but the momentum of the move sends Morrison over Punk 1…. 2…Punk kicks out.

Both men then get to their feet and Morrison goes for a Clothesline, but Punk ducks and then knocks Morrison onto his knees with a kick to the back of the head. CM Punk then speeds off the ropes and comes back with a SHINING WIZARD to the face of John Morrison! CM Punk then lifts Morrison to his feet and connects with the Uranage Slam and for the second time in the match locks on the ANACONDA VICE! But for the second time in the match the hold is broken, this time by Carlito who drops an elbow over the head of CM Punk. Carlito then picks up CM Punk to his feet and goes for the Backcracker, but Punk blocks it by holding onto the top rope. CM Punk then goes to pick up John Morrison, who catches CM Punk off guard with a kick to the gut and HE CONNECTS WITH THE CORKSCREW NECKBREAKER! John Morrison then pulls Punk to the corner of the ring and climbs onto the top rope. JOHN MORRISON GOES FOR THE SHOOTING STAR PRESS…. BUT MISSES! Winner: Still Intercontinental Champion Carlito in 12:32

The crowd gives big heat as Carlito scurries out of the ring and grabs hold of his Intercontinental Championship. Carlito kisses his belt and leaves the down the ramp with his arm raised up high, as CM Punk enters the ring and can’t believe what’s just happened. He rubs his hands through his hair, as Carlito mouths to Punk “Now Das Cool”.

JR: Carlito steals the victory. What a tough break there for CM Punk, he had the match won with the Go To Sleep but an opportunistic Intercontinental Champion takes advantage and picks up the pieces for the win.

King: What a way to kick off No Mercy JR! All three men gave it all they got, but most importantly the coolest man won the match.

JR: King I have no doubt in my mind, that one day CM Punk is going to get a one on one title opportunity against Carlito. But I believe that our colleague Todd Grisham is backstage.

We then go backstage to see Todd Grisham who is standing by Chris Jericho.

Grisham: Chris Jericho tonight you team up with your past enemy John Cena, to face Ken Kennedy and Randy Orton who have Vince McMahon in their corner. The man who was supposed to be in your corner tonight, Shane McMahon was injured this past week on Raw thanks to Randy Orton. So surely that makes you the underdogs in tonight’s match?

Jericho: Hold on Todd Grisass, you think because Shane McMahon got injured this past week on Raw, that John Cena and me are the underdogs in tonight’s match? Well let me tell you this Grisass, THIS IS CHICAGO IS JERICHO!

Crowd Pops

Jericho: And I haven’t come here to let my millions and millions of Jericholics down. And manager or no manager, Chris Jericho is going to enter the ring and give Mr Roboto and Mr Roboto….Roboto a beating that THEY HAVE NEVER….EV

???: EVERRRR FELT IN THEIR LIFES!

Crowd Pops as John Cena walks into the scene.

Cena: CHAIN GANG CHICAGO MAKE SOME NOISE!

Crowd Pops as a sarcastic smile appears on Chris Jericho’s face.

Cena: Because tonight Chris Jericho and me go out there to face the Corporation. And this is Chris Jericho’s first PPV match in over two years, and come to think about it the last time you were in a PPV match I kicked your ass!

Mixed Reaction and there is obvious tension between Cena and Jericho.

Cena: But you don’t need to worry about me Homie, because tonight we are in the same team. But tonight we are not only fighting the Corporation, we are fighting to become the Number 1 Contender for the WWE Title. And unfortunately for you that means you are not going to make a dream comeback, because I have unsettled business with Randy Orton and nobody, is going to get in my way of becoming the WWE Champion. So if you get in my way Chris, I am going to toss you out of my way. If you have a problem with that and want some, THEN COME FREAKIN GET SOME!

John Cena and Chris Jericho then head to head, staring a hole through one another.

Jericho: That’s cute John. But I need to tell you one thing. WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP!

Mixed reaction

Jericho: John you come interrupt my interview with your stupid Supercuts hairstyle, your stupid looking face which makes you look like you have had your face flattened by a truck, thinking your some sort of big shot. Well sorry HOMIE, but all I see when I see you is a bonafide Jackass!

Mixed Reaction

Jericho: John there is a reason why you are not the WWE Champion, and that is because you can’t beat Randy Orton.

Crowd Boos

Jericho: So John if I was you, I would get the hell out of here as soon as possible and spend the rest of your life with your Rapper friends. John no longer are we going to have an uninteresting, untalented WWE Champion. Because at Survivor Series, Chris Jericho is going to become the WWE Champion and if you have a problem with that and want some, THEN COME FREAKIN GET SOME!

We then witness an intense stare down between the two men who are supposed to be partners tonight, as we then cut back to ringside.

Kid Kash’s music hits and Kid Kash comes down to the ring to a nice pop from the crowd. He slaps hands with fans down on his way to the ring, as we see a short video clip of Kid Kash getting three successive pinfall victories over Jamie Noble on recent editions of Smackdown.

“Slam Smack” hits and the Cruiserweight Champion Jamie Noble makes his way down to the ring to some decent heat. He points to Kash, and starts talking some smash to him as he enters the ring.

Cole: And it is time to start the Best Of 7 Series! Kash has got three victories over Noble in recent weeks, but can he make the best start possible to the best of 7 series?

JBL: This man has impressed me hugely over recent weeks, but Jamie Noble performs best when it matters the most.

Kash then attempts to end this early with the Dead Level but Noble rolls through, and grabs Kash around the waist and takes him inside out with a German Suplex! Kash makes the cover 1….2….Noble kicks out! Kash then lifts Noble up to his feet and slams him down on the mat before dragging him over to the corner of the ring. Kash gets ready to climb to the top rope, when Jamie Noble rushes from behind and rolls him up getting a handful of tights 1….2….Kid Kash is still able to kick out. Both men then get to their feet and Noble lifts Kash up onto his shoulders, but Kash is able to slip off and trip him up by the legs. Kash then catapults Jamie Noble face first into the turnbuckle, and Noble staggers around into Kid Kash who connects with a BRAINBUSTER onto Jamie Noble! Kid Kash then climbs up onto the top rope, AND COMES OFF WITH AN IMPRESSIVE MOONSAULT! Kash lifts Noble to his feet and unleashes on him with a series of stinging chops to the chest backing him into the corner. Kash then lifts Noble to the top rope, and he climbs up and gets into position to hurricarana Noble off the top rope. Kash jumps up onto his shoulders and goes for it but Noble blocks it by holding onto the top rope. Jamie Noble then swoops down onto an injured prey and LOCKS ON THE DRAGON SLEEPER! But thankfully for Kash, Noble locked the move right in the corner of the ring and Noble has to break it up as Kash’s feet are on the ropes.

Noble immediately targets the neck and throat area of Kid Kash, clubbing away at him. Jamie Noble lifts Kash to his feet and gets him into an inverted headlock. Noble drops Kash spine first off the knee connecting with a Inverted Facelock Backbreaker, before spinning around and connecting with a standing cutter onto Kid Kash (Standing RKO). Noble then lifts Kash up into a seated position, and hits some stiff kicks to the back and chest of Kid Kash. Noble then speeds off the ropes and connects with a Shining Wizard onto Kash and makes the cover 1….2….Somehow Kash kicks out! Noble somehow bounces back up, and Kash spins him around and drops him face first into the mat with a Deadly DDT! Kash then makes the cover 1….2….This time Jamie Noble kicks out! Kid Kash then goes after the legs of Jamie Noble and locks in an ELEVATED BOSTON CRAB! Jamie Noble yells in agony as Kid Kash screams at Noble to tap out. Jamie Noble though refuses to tap out and shows his redneck determination, and is able to just reach the ropes!

Kid Kash continues the attack on Jamie Noble’s legs, targeting them and dropping some stomps to weaken them. Kid Kash then lifts Noble to his feet and chops away at him into the corner of the ring. Kid Kash then grabs Noble by the arm and whips him into the opposite corner of the ring before charging up at him, only for Noble to catch Kash with a flapjack with Kash landing throat first over the turnbuckle! Jamie Noble looks down at Kash, before coming off the top rope with a Leg Drop over the throat of Kid Kash and he once again makes the cover 1….2….Kash gets his shoulders up off the mat once more to the frustration of Jamie Noble. Jamie Noble then wastes some time arguing with the referee, telling the referee that it was a three count in denial that Kash kicked out. It showed that he wasted too much time as when he went to lift Kash to his feet, Kash grabbed him by the head and rolled him up from out of nowhere 1….2….Jamie Noble kicks out! Both men then get to their feet and Noble goes to again take Kash’s head off with a clothesline, but Kash ducks and comes back with a springboard Hurricarana onto Jamie Noble! KID KASH GETS THE FIRST FALL OF THE SERIES

Winner: Kid Kash in 7:37 (Kid Kash leads Jamie Noble 1-0 in the best of 7 series)

Cole: What a way to kick off the best of 7 series, and once again Kid Kash has got the better of Jamie Noble.

JBL: I am shocked Michael I thought Jamie Noble would pick his game up tonight, but once again Kash got the win and Jamie Noble has to pick up his game sooner than later. Or this will be a whitewash victory for Kid Kash.

Cole: Kid Kash needs just three more victories to become the new Cruiserweight Champion.

A new Wrestlemania 24 commercial plays. It is set in Disneyland with the WWE superstars invading, and we see Triple H hitting Donald Duck with a Sledgehammer, Umaga scaring some little kids, Kane setting the castle on fire and much more juicy fun.

We then go backstage to see Matt Hardy speaking with his brother Jeff Hardy backstage.

Jeff Hardy: I tell you man, you need to watch your back tonight man because I have got a feeling MVP has something in plan for tonight…..

???: Yeah I do have a plan.

The crowd boos as MVP walks into the scene.

MVP: And that plan is to go out there with my best friend Matt Hardy and successfully defend our Tag Team Championships.

Jeff Hardy: What was the whole business between you, Burke and Cor Von talking earlier tonight then?

Matt Hardy turns to MVP who looks shocked at Jeff’s comments.

MVP: Hey Matt you ignore your Bro, he is just jealous that we are WWE Tag Team Champions and he can’t even get a match on the Pay Per View. We need to focus on our match tonight, because Burke and Cor Von are tough. Matt you need to step up your game tonight, because I don’t want you letting the team down and leaving me to show why I am half man amazing, and save us from losing our belts. See you out there.

MVP then walks off, as The Hardy Boys look at MVP with suspicion.

We then cut back to ringside as “Slow Chemical” hits and Kane comes out to a big pop from the crowd. Halfway down the ramp Kane is attacked from behind as FINLAY HITS KANE WITH THE SHILLELAGH OVER THE BACK OF KANE’S KNEE!

Match 3
Grudge Match
Finlay v Kane

Finlay after that Shillelagh shot to the knee immediately goes after it, stomping away at it on the ramp as the referee sprints down the ramp and tells Finlay to bring Kane down to the ring. Finlay shoves the referee out of the way however and he grabs Kane by the leg, and lifts it high in the air dropping it on the steel ramp. Finlay then drags Kane to his feet and he finally leads Kane down the ramp towards the ring. Finlay halts just outside the ring as he grabs Kane by the arm and goes to whip him into the Steel Steps, but Kane counters and sends Finlay crashing shoulder first into the Steel Steps! Finlay clutches onto his shoulders as he gets to his feet, and he turns straight into a clothesline by Kane. Kane then drags Finlay to his feet by his attire and he scoops him up, dropping Finlay chest first over the barricade. The action is then finally taken into the ring, as Kane rolls Finlay into the ring and finally the bell is rung to officially start the match.

Finlay gets to his feet and leads Kane to the corner, where he meets Kane with a kick to the leg. Finlay then throws a hard right hand before whipping Kane to the opposite corner and charges up at Kane, who explodes out of the corner damn near taking Finlay’s head off with a clothesline. Kane then leads Finlay to the corner and bounces his head off the turnbuckle, before taking Finlay out of his boots with an uppercut to the jaw. Kane then delivers a kick to the mid section, before taking Finlay up in the air and down onto the mat with another hard uppercut. Kane then rests his boot over the throat of Finlay and starts choking him out, until the referee gets between the two men. Kane then kicks Finlay in the face, before stomping away at him in the corner of the ring. Kane picks Finlay to his feet and attempts an Irish Whip, but Finlay counters only for Kane to come back with a hard shoulder block takedown. Kane then bounces off the ropes and drops an elbow over the back of Finlay’s head. Kane then knocks Finlay’s head off with a Big Boot just as he is about to get to his feet. Kane then stomps away at the back of Finlay’s head before lifting him up to his feet and scooping him up, and slamming him down onto the mat with authority. Kane pounds away at Finlay with a series of hard lefts and rights backing him into the corner of the ring. Kane then whips Finlay into the opposite corner and charges up, but Finlay very smartly goes low dropkicking Kane in the knee causing Kane to crash face first off the turnbuckle. Finlay then bounces off the ropes as Kane gets to his feet, and Finlay comes from behind with a chop block to the knee taking Kane’s down onto his knees. Finlay then clubs away at the neck of Kane before sprinting off the ropes, but Kane quickly recovers and catches him off the ropes with a Big Boot!

Kane whips Finlay into the corner, and he charges up connecting with a Turnbuckle Clothesline. Kane then catches a staggering Finlay with a Sidewalk Slam and he makes the first cover of the match 1…. 2…. Finlay kicks out! Kane then goes to the corner and climbs up top and it looks as though Kane wants to finish this match early. He waits for Finlay to get to his feet and goes for the Diving Clothesline, but Finlay rolls out of the way at the right time and Kane crashes down onto the mat! That high risk move seemed to take a lot out of Kane as he slowly gets to his feet clutching onto his injured knee, and Finlay takes advantage hitting a low kick taking Kane down onto his knees before getting him in a front facelock and connecting with a Snap DDT! Finlay smiles at the damage that has been done to Kane, but fails to see Kane sitting up. Finlay turns around and into a big hand grabbing him by the throat. Kane then fights his way to his feet before tossing Finlay into the corner, and hits him with a fast series of hard lefts and rights to the jaw of Finlay. Kane then whips Finlay off the ropes and catches him off them by lifting Finlay up into a gorilla press position, but Kane’s legs give up on him and he lets go of Finlay and drops down onto the mat. Finlay then grabs Kane by his tights and tosses Kane between the middle and top ropes to the outside.

Finlay then waits for Kane to get to his feet on the outside, before bouncing off the ropes and goes for a Baseball Slide Dropkick, but Kane catches his legs and pulls Finlay to the outside and he pounds away at him with some hard right hands. Kane then takes a few steps back before charging up at Finlay who trips Kane by the legs face first onto the Steel Steps! Kane clutches onto his face in agony as Finlay grabs Kane’s injured knee and he smashes it off the Steel Steps. On a very rare occasion you hear Kane start to yell in agony, and Finlay sees the pain Kane is under so he grabs Kane’s knee and smashes it off the Steel Steps even harder. Finlay then rolls Kane back into the ring and he pulls Kane so his legs are hanging either side of the steel ring post. Finlay breaks the count before grabbing Kane’s injured knee and smashes it off the Steel Ring Post. Finlay then stands on the ring apron and twists Kane’s legs and falls back locking on a FIGURE 4 LEG LOCK TO KANE AROUND THE RING POST! Unfortunately for Finlay, the move is seen as illegal and has to let go of the hold at the count of four. Finlay re-enters the ring and he places Kane’s leg over the bottom rope, and he stands on the middle rope and jumps on Kane’s injured leg. Finlay repeats the move, before dragging Kane to the centre of the ring and goes to lock on a Boston Crab but Kane desperately swings at Finlay with a series of hard right hands. But Finlay throws a kick at the face of Kane, and he then locks on a ONE LEGGED BOSTON CRAB driving the knee into the back of Kane. Kane reaches out for the ropes but he is bang centre in the middle of the ring and there is no escape. The Chicago crowd start chanting Kane’s name trying to urge “The Big Red Machine” on. Kane somehow pushes himself off the mat, and he uses his free leg to kick himself free. Finlay goes to lift Kane to his feet but is met with a big Uppercut to the Jaw, and then Kane gets to his feet and bounces off the ropes. Finlay sees Kane coming and catches Kane with a kick to the gut, and then somehow lifts Kane off the mat with a Gutwrench Suplex dropping Kane into a bridge 1…. 2…. Kane gets his shoulder off the mat at two!

Finlay argues with the referee, before lifting Kane to his feet and he starts pounding away at him into the corner of the ring with some big forearm shots to the face. Finlay then steps up onto the middle rope and he continues to pound away at Kane with hard right hands until Kane grabs him by the tights and pulls Finlay onto his shoulders. KANE THEN WALKS FINLAY INTO THE CENTRE OF THE RING AND DROPS HIM WITH A BIG FALLING POWERBOMB! But due to his knee injury Kane cannot capitalise and make the cover, and both men are down on the floor and the referee starts the count. Both men reach their feet at the count of six, and they meet each other in the centre of the ring with some hard right hands and the two rivals get into a fistfight. The bigger tougher Kane looks to get the advantage, when in desperate fashion Finlay rakes the eyes of Kane and hits him with an uppercut backing him into the corner. Finlay then whips Kane into the opposite corner and charges up, but Kane moves out of the way and Finlay crashes into the turnbuckle and staggers around into a Big Boot by the Big Red Machine. Kane then bounces off the ropes and takes Finlay down with a clothesline. Kane then throws a kick at Finlay who catches Kane’s legs. Finlay shakes his head at Kane, but Kane’s shows off some impressive athleticism for a man of his size hitting an impressive Enzuigiri to the back of Finlay’s head taking him back into the corner of the ring! Finlay shakes himself off before charging up at Kane who catches him with a Tilt a Whirl Backbreaker! Kane however keeps Finlay resting over his knee, before lifting him to his feet and up onto the shoulders. Kane walks to the corner of the ring, and connects with a Running Powerslam. Kane shakes off his knee still in a bit of pain, before hooking the leg 1…. 2…. Kickout by Finlay!

Kane shakes his head in disappointment as he gets to his feet, and he then raises his hand in the air and wriggles his fingers signalling for the end. Finlay gets to his feet and Kane grabs him by the throat, but Kane sees that Little Bastard Hornswoggle climbing up onto the top rope. Kane pushes Finlay aside as Hornswoggle goes for a Diving Crossbody Block on Kane, who catches Hornswoggle in mid air. Kane turns Hornswoggle upside down in the air setting him up for the Tombstone Piledriver! But Finlay saves his little friend at the last moment hitting a Chop Block to the back of Kane’s knees taking him down onto the mat. Hornswoggle then distracts the referee, as Finlay quickly escapes the ring and grabs hold of a second Shillelagh. Finlay then brings it into the ring and sizes Kane up, AND SMASHES KANE OVER THE HEAD WITH THE SHILLELAGH! Finlay instead of going for the cover, he decides to end the match by Submission as he locks on a Modified Indian Death Lock! Finlay smiles as Kane is out of it after that Shillelagh shot to the skull. The referee sees that Kane is beginning to fade away and he lifts his arm up in the air once…and it drops…. He lifts it up a second time…. and it drops…. He lifts it up a third time…. But Kane sits up!

Finlay looks on in bewilderment as Kane grabs Finlay by the throat and gets to his feet. Kane looks to go for the Chokeslam, but once again Hornswoggle gets involved as he distracts the referee. Kane once again pushes Finlay aside and goes after Hornswoggle who quickly drops to the outside as Kane goes to attack him. Kane then turns around into Finlay who scoops Kane up and connects with a Rolling Fireman’s Carry Slam. Finlay then signals to Hornswoggle to climb to the top rope as Finlay now distracts the referee. Hornswoggle climbs to the top rope, AND COMES OFF THE ROPES WITH A TADPOLE SPLASH ONTO KANE! BUT KANE HAS GRABBED HORNSWOGGLE BY THE THROAT! Kane no sells the Tadpole Splash and gets to his feet with his hand around Hornswoggle’s throat. Finlay rushes up to help Hornswoggle but Kane also grabs him by the throat. KANE THEN LIFTS BOTH HORNSWOGGLE AND FINLAY IN THE AIR, AND CONNECTS WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!! Kane then does the cutthroat signal before lifting Finlay in the air and twisting him upside down. KANE THEN DROPS FINLAY WITH THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! Kane then hooks the leg and the crowd count along with the referee

Winner: Kane in 9:57

Cole: KANE! Picks up the hard fought victory.

JBL: What a fight that was, and you have to give credit to Kane. He came out here with an injured leg, and still was able to beat the toughest bastard in the WWE.

Cole: Finlay has worked over that leg ever since Unforgiven, but after a valiant effort he still couldn’t get the job done. A huge victory for Kane, but can his brother be victorious later tonight. Earlier tonight on Sunday Night Heat, Josh Matthews met Batista when he entered the arena and when Josh asked Batista about his changed attitude. Batista went back

“Oh Yeah” hits and Matt Hardy comes out to a big pop from the crowd. Hardy shoots the Hardy’s guns before making his way down to the ring, and immediately locks eyes with MVP who offers to shake hands, but Matt Hardy just looks on.

Cole: For the last two months MVP has used the Tag Team Championships to avoid a match with Matt Hardy….

JBL: Hey hang on a second Michael; MVP is better than Matt Hardy he proved that at the Great American Bash. They are Tag Team Champions, because Matt Hardy needs MVP. Jeff Hardy is on his over on Raw and look at him he is a lunatic.

Cole: How?

JBL: He’s got Purple hair for one. Matt Hardy wouldn’t be worth a damn dime, if it weren’t for MVP.

“Don’t waste my time” hits and The New Breed consisting of Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von come out to some big heat from the crowd. Elijah Burke throws his towel in the air, as Cor Von thumps his chest showing off his intensity.

Cole: Ever since they have came to Smackdown, The New Breed have been impressive and this is their best chance of winning their first WWE gold.

JBL: Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von are tough as hell, Elijah Burke won 98 out of 99 matches when he was an amateur boxer, and Marcus Cor Von played for the Buffalo Bills in the Superbowl. Matt Hardy and MVP are going to have their hands full in this one.

Match 4
Tag Team Championships
Matt Hardy and MVP © v The New Breed (Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von)

The match starts off with Matt Hardy and Elijah Burke deciding that they will start the match. Hardy and Burke quickly pace the ring before closing into the centre and locking up. Hardy immediately goes behind wrapping his arms around Burke’s waist, but Burke spins behind wrenching Matt Hardy’s arm. Burke ducks an elbow only to be then tripped up by the legs by Matt Hardy who gets him into a front headlock. Burke fights his way to his feet and pushes Hardy off the ropes, and Hardy comes back with a shoulder block takedown and makes the cover, but Burke kicks out before the count of 1. Both men get to feet and Hardy hits a snapmare takedown, dropkick to back combo and again makes cover 1…. Burke kicks out. Burke then gets to his feet and turns right into Matt Hardy who takes him down with an Oklahoma roll 1…. 2…. Kickout by Burke and both men reach their feet and they lock eyes. MVP then tells Burke to bring it on, but Burke backs to his corner and tags in the powerhouse Marcus Cor Von. MVP immediately goes to tag himself out, but Matt Hardy drops off the apron and leaves the job to MVP. MVP shakes his head in disgust, before turning around into a sickening clothesline by Marcus Cor Von. Cor Von then backs MVP into the corner with a series of hard right hands, and then begins to drive the air out of Matt Hardy’s lungs with multiple shoulder thrusts to the sternum. Cor Von sends MVP off the ropes, but MVP comes back looking for a Crossbody takedown but gets caught in mid air. Cor Von shows his strength throwing MVP over his head, with a Fallaway Slam! Cor Von makes the cover 1….2….Kickout by MVP!

Elijah Burke puts his leg hanging over the top rope, and Cor Von bounces MVP’s face off Burke’s boot before tagging Burke back into the ring. Burke backs MVP into the corner with some boxing like jabs to the jaw of MVP, who shows some fight coming back with some chest reddening Chops to the chest. MVP then sends Burke off the ropes and attempts to catch him with a clothesline, but Burke explodes back off the ropes with a STO onto the US Champion! Burke then makes the cover 1…. 2…. Cor Von enters the ring and drops an elbow over the chest of MVP, before lifting him to his feet and hoisting him onto his shoulders. MVP slides off his shoulder and bounces off the ropes, but Cor Von catches him setting him up for a Powerbomb, only to throw MVP off his shoulders and MVP lands throat first on the top rope! Cor Von then makes the cover once more 1…. 2…MVP gets his shoulders up just in time! An angry Cor Von then lifts MVP to his feet and hits some stinging hard right hands before sprinting off the ropes, only to bet met with a raised knee to the spine by Matt Hardy from the ring apron. Elijah Burke tries to enter the ring to show his anger, but the referee blocks him off which allows MVP to come from behind with a Low Blow onto Marcus Cor Von! MVP then drags Cor Von into his corner and fires away at him with some hard right hands and Matt Hardy joins him, which infuriates Burke who is once again blocked off by the referee as Hardy then chokes out Cor Von out with the Tag Rope, as it looks like there are no problems between MVP and Matt Hardy so far.

Matt Hardy tags himself in and he pounds away at Cor Von, before attempting an Irish Whip only for Cor Von to counter. Cor Von just like he did to MVP sets Hardy onto his shoulders, and looks to drop him throat first on the top rope but Hardy lands on his feet. Hardy then spins Cor Von around and meets him with a kick to the midsection followed by a DDT! Hardy makes the cover 1….2….Cor Von kicks out! Matt Hardy then leads Cor Von to his feet and pounds away at him into the corner, before whipping him spine first into the opposite corner of the ring. Hardy charges at Cor Von in full speed hitting a Turnbuckle Clothesline, and then goes for a Bulldog but Cor Von shoves him off the ropes. Cor Von goes to catch him with a clothesline, but Hardy ducks and comes back with a flying forearm smash! MVP then pounds away at Cor Von off the ropes and attempts an Irish Whip, but Cor Von counters but ducks down too early, which allows MVP to come back with a face breaker knee smash onto Cor Von who then staggers back into the corner. MVP grabs hold of Cor Von’s head and hits him with multiple side knee lifts to the jaw, before whipping him into the opposite corner. MVP then taunts to the crowd before charging up at Cor Von, who moves out of the way and MVP crashes into the corner as Cor Von speeds off the ropes. It looks as though Cor Von is going to go for the Pounce, but Matt Hardy makes the save taking down Cor Von with a Clothesline from the ring apron!

Elijah Burke again tries to enter the ring but is blocked off by the referee again, and Matt Hardy joins MVP in the ring and the two of them team up pounding away at Cor Von off the ropes. They whip Cor Von off the ropes and attempt to catch him with a Clothesline, but the Powerhouse ducks and comes back with a Clothesline of his own taking out both Hardy and MVP! Cor Von then waits for MVP to reach his feet before bouncing off the ropes, but MVP catches Cor Von with an OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! MVP crawls over and makes the cover 1…. 2…. Elijah Burke argues with the pace of the referee’s count, and then lifts MVP to his feet and tosses him to the outside. Elijah Burke then distracts the referee, as Cor Von sizes MVP on the outside waiting for him to get to his feet. MVP gets to his feet and turns around into a Spear by Cor Von! Cor Von then rolls MVP back into the ring and tags himself in, as Matt Hardy climbs up onto the ring apron having recovered from that accidental Playas Boot. Cor Von then starts to work on the back of MVP, as he stomps away at it before lifting him to his feet and driving MVP spine first into the Turnbuckle. Cor Von then lifts MVP up onto the top rope, and climbs up there with him. Cor Von hits some stiff elbow shots to the side of MVP’s face, before coming off the top rope with a SUPERPLEX TO THE US CHAMPION! Cor Von then slowly crawls over to MVP and hooks the leg 1…. 2…. MVP once again kicks out! Cor Von looks at the referee in anger that he didn’t get the three count, as he lifts MVP up to his feet, but MVP catches him by surprise hooking him by the head and rolling him over into a pinning predicament 1…. 2…. Cor Von kicks out! MVP quickly gets to his feet and goes to tag in Matt Hardy, but Marcus Cor Von clobbers him from behind with a clothesline. Cor Von then leads MVP over to his corner and throws hard right hands to the mid section of MVP, before distracting the referee allowing Elijah Burke to grab hold of MVP and drop him head first over the top rope. Matt Hardy attempts to save MVP, but is blocked off by the referee as Elijah Burke is tagged back into the ring. Elijah Burke immediately takes down MVP with a Snapmare, and he drives his knee into the spine of MVP while pulling back at his arms.

The crowd don’t know whether to cheer MVP on, with half of the crowd cheering MVP mainly because he is on the same team as the only face in this match Matt Hardy, and the rest booing MVP as he tries to fight to his feet. MVP shows some resilience getting to his feet and spinning out of the hold, before backing Elijah Burke off the ropes with multiple hard right hands. BUT MVP MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Elijah Burke holds onto his knees in pain, as MVP CHARGES UP HITTING HIM WITH THE PLAYAS BOOT! MVP then tags in Matt Hardy as Cor Von enters the ring, but Matt Hardy immediately starts to clean house taking Cor Von down with a Clothesline followed by a Dropkick, before doing the same thing to Elijah Burke. Hardy pounds away at Burke into the corner of the ring, before whipping him into the opposite corner and hitting a Turnbuckle Clothesline! Matt Hardy follows that off with a Bulldog, before climbing up to the top rope. Hardy shows the V1 Sign to the crowd, before coming off the top rope with a Leg Drop onto Elijah Burke. Matt Hardy makes the cover 1…. 2…. Marcus Cor Von breaks the count. Cor Von goes to attack Hardy, when MVP rushes into the ring and he and Cor Von go at it exchanging hard right hands.

MVP pounds away at Cor Von into the corner, as Matt Hardy does the same thing to Elijah Burke in the opposite corner. MVP then goes over to Matt Hardy and gives him an idea, and then suddenly MVP walks over to Marcus Cor Von and drops on all fours as Matt Hardy shrugs his shoulders. Matt Hardy then runs up and uses MVP’s back as a springboard to hit Cor Von with the Poetry in Motion. Matt Hardy then hits the same move on Elijah Burke, and MVP and Hardy then signal for the end. Hardy gets Burke up for the Twist of Fate, as MVP sets Cor Von up for the Playmaker. But both Cor Von and Burke counter it spinning out of the move and taking Hardy and MVP down with Clotheslines. Elijah Burke then stomps at Matt Hardy in the ring as Cor Von goes to the outside and grabs one of the Tag Team Championship Belts. In the ring Matt Hardy ducks a clothesline and hits the side effect onto Elijah Burke, as MVP takes down Cor Von with a clothesline and grabs hold of the Tag Team Championship Belt that Cor Von brought into the ring. Hardy sets Burke up for the Twist of Fate, as MVP sizes up Marcus Cor Von. NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

Winners: NEW Tag Team Champions Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von in 12:03

After the match Elijah Burke and Cor Von leave the ring going straight after their Tag Team Championships, and they share a hug before raising their newly won title belts. MVP enters the ring and looks down at Matt Hardy in disgust. MVP shakes his head and leaves the ring still intact with his United States Championship.

Cole: We’ve got new Tag Team Champions! Burke and Cor Von took advantage of MVP’s mistake and the New Breed are the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

JBL: After MVP’s mistake Michael? Matt Hardy lost the match he got in MVP’s way and he only has himself to blame, and if I were MVP I would go back in the ring teach Matt Hardy a lesson for costing the team the Tag Team Championships.

Cole: MVP hit Matt Hardy over the back of the head with the title belt. What intention did MVP have for using it anyway, he would of got disqualified!

JBL: Oh there you go again Michael. Blaming MVP for this loss. Like it or not Michael your bed buddy Matt Hardy made a mistake, and because of him he and MVP are no longer Tag Team Champions.

We then go backstage to see Todd Grisham, standing backstage with a mic in hand.

Grisham: Ladies and Gentleman may I introduce at this time, “The Game” Triple H!

Triple H then walk into the scene with a big smile on his face.

Grisham: In just a few moments time, you go one on one with the Samoan Bulldozer Umaga. I would just like to know your comments on this upcoming match.

Triple H: Todd Grisham my comments are as simple as this. Umaga, ever since you have came to the WWE you have ran over everybody and everything in your path. You have beaten every single man that you have faced. From John Cena, to Shawn Michaels, to Ric Flair you have beaten them all. But with all credit to everyone else, they are not Triple H.
Crowd Pops

Triple: They are not in the same level of Triple H. And just like you I have beaten every single man that has been put in my path. And tonight Umaga I am going to stop the Bulldozer on its tracks.

Crowd Pops

Triple H: I am going to bring the Game to Umaga, and PROVE TO EVERY DAMN PERSON IN THIS ARENA OR WATCHING AT HOME, WHY I AM THAT DAMN GOOD!

Huge Pops for Triple H, who is now breathing very heavily in an intense manner. Then we hear “Time to play the game” hit over the speakers.

Triple: Umaga, Game Over!

Triple H then walks out of the scene, and then a few seconds later Triple H appears at the top of the ramp to a huge pop from the crowd. Triple H makes his traditional entrance to the ring, stepping up onto the ring apron and spitting water onto the Chicago fans. Triple H then salutes the crowd at each corner, before awaiting his opponent.

JR: What an ovation for the Game, and you saw the intensity backstage but King, this man is about to step into war.

King: JR I am still not sure he has recovered from that attack on Raw after his Steel Cage Match, where Umaga hit the Samoan Splash off the top of the cage onto the ribs of Triple H. Triple H is going to have to pull off a miracle if he wants to get the victory here tonight.

“Samoan Bulldozer” hits and Umaga comes down to the ring accompanied by his manager Armando Alejandro Estrada to the biggest heat of the night so far. Umaga walks very quickly to the ring shouting out at Triple H in Samoan as Estrada orders instructions to his Samoan Bulldozer.

Triple H then waits for Umaga to get to his feet before bouncing off the ropes and hits him with a Clothesline, but it does not even rock Umaga. Umaga slaps his chest daring Triple H to attempt it again. Triple H does so, and again it does not move the Samoan. Triple H bounces off the ropes again and hits Umaga with as hard as a clothesline as you can get, but it only rocks Umaga a little. Triple H starts to look pissed as he bounces off the ropes, and this time he comes with a Chop Block to the front of Umaga’s knee. Triple H then bounces behind Umaga and hits another Chop Block to the back of Umaga’s knees, taking Umaga down to his knees. Umaga then staggers around into Triple H who kicks him in the mid section and hooks him by the arms, setting him up for the Pedigree. But Umaga realises the predicament he is in and counters it into a Back Body Drop to the relief of Armando Alejandro Estrada. Triple H then gets to his feet and is met with a big SAMOAN DROP by the Samoan Bulldozer!

The crowd clap their hands and stamp their feet on the floor cheering the Game on, who reaches out to his side and tries to reach out for the ropes but is too far away. Triple H seems to be fading away and the referee realises and he approaches Triple H and asks him if he wants to quit but gets no answer. He lifts up his hand once…And it drops…He lifts it up a second time…And it drops…He lifts it up a third time…But Triple H keeps it in the air! Triple H then starts fighting back at Umaga hitting him with multiple hard right hands to the face of the Bulldozer. Winner: Umaga in 11:58

JR: UMAGA HAS STOLEN THE VICTORY THANKS TO THAT DAMN SLEDGEHAMMER!

King: Stole? JR, I have never seen any man dominate Triple H like Umaga did tonight. Triple H brought the Sledgehammer into the ring, so he brought it on himself.

JR: How could yo…..Oh god he’s not finished yet!

After the match Umaga continues his attack as he lifts Triple H up to his feet and hits him with multiple Samoan Spikes to the throat. Umaga then places him in the corner, and connects with a Samoan Wrecking Ball snapping Triple H’s neck over the bottom rope. Meanwhile Armando Alejandro Estrada on the outside retakes the Sledgehammer and he brings it into the ring. Umaga drags Triple H to his feet and takes the Sledgehammer off Estrada who holds Triple H back. Umaga then damn near knocks Triple H’s head off with the Sledgehammer, knocking the bloody Triple H out. Umaga then storms to the outside and pushes Justin Roberts out of his chair, and brings the Chair into the ring. Umaga then places the chair over the throat of Triple H and climbs to the top rope. Umaga looks to jump onto the Chair on Triple H’s throat, when two referees grab Triple H by the legs and pull him out just in time. Umaga looks to go after Triple H, only for Estrada to now block him off realising that Umaga has done enough damage. Estrada then raises Umaga’s hand in the air in the ring, as medics come down with stretchers to help Triple H.

As Triple H is helped onto the stretcher we go backstage to see Kristal Marshall standing by the World Heavyweight Champion Edge who is watching a Monitor.

Edge: (Laughing) Kristal did you just see that? Umaga just ended Triple H’s career and do you know what I couldn’t be happier. Triple H’s time has come and past, if you want to see Triple H set your time machine to the year 2000. But I would advise you that if you want to see something new and fresh, stay right where you are because this is the era of the Rated R Superstar!

Crowd Boos

Edge: And it’s funny because my match with Rey Mysterio, links to the match we have just saw. Because you just saw Triple H’s career crumble and fall in the blink of an eye, and that is exactly what is going to happen to Rey Mysterio tonight!

Crowd Boos

Edge: But the only difference is that the beating I am going to give to that Nacho eating Spiderman wannabe is going to be much worse than what Umaga did to Triple H. And that’s because Rey Mysterio quite simply cannot reach my height (Laughs), in size or wrestling ability. And tonight when Rey Mysterio goes for a triple springboard 820 Tadpole Splash and breaks his knee in half. I am going to make sure that I CRIPPLE Rey Mysterio. And I am going to make sure that not only does he never wrestle again, but also he never walks again!

Edge stares into the camera intensely, as the crowd give huge heat for Edge’s comments.

Edge: And Kristal I am going to prove world why this is the era of the Rated R Superstar, but also why I am the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time!

Crowd Boos

Edge: And you can Bank on that!

Crowd Boos as Edge laughs once again.

Kristal: Ok, and Edge may I get some comments on the Hell In A Cell match between Batista and The Undertaker, where the winner faces the World Champion at Survivor Series.

Edge: You want my comments? Well Kristal, Batista and The Undertaker are going to tear each other apart tonight, so whoever faces me will only be at 50% anyway. I have beaten Batista more times that you have had a shower in the last year, and I beat The Undertaker to win this baby in just 3 seconds. So it doesn’t matter who wins because it will make no difference, because no matter how good they are. They will never be as good as me!

Edge then walks off as we go to another area backstage where we see Triple H being stretchered into an ambulance as he is choking up blood. But from out of nowhere comes Umaga who attacks the medics throwing them into nearby vehicles, before grabbing hold of the stretcher that has Triple H on it. He pulls it out of the ambulance, and he pushes the Stretcher into the side of the Ambulance, causing Triple H to fly off the stretcher and face first into the ambulance. Umaga then picks Triple H up to his feet by his hair and he repeatedly hits him with more Samoan Spikes! Referee’s and Road Agents try to make the save, but Umaga pushes them aside before lifting Triple H back to his feet. UMAGA THEN THROWS TRIPLE H HEAD FIRST THROUGH THE AMBULANCE WINDOW! The referee’s and road agents then finally pull Umaga away, as a bloody and unconscious Triple H is left in a pool of his own blood.

JR: My God the carnage that Umaga has done to Triple H. Umaga won the match; there was no need for that brutal and devastating attack just when Triple H was going to be sent to the nearest hospital.

King: JR I agree with you, I think Umaga took it a little bit too far and it’s going to be a long time before we see Triple H on Raw in my opinion.

JR: Well we will update you on Triple H’s conditions when we get information, but let’s send it over to Michael Cole and JBL.

Cole: I agree with you JR, that was a disgusting and brutal attack by Umaga. But ladies and gentleman it is time to move on, as the World Heavyweight Championship is now on the line. Rey Mysterio has failed to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Edge on two different occasions, but can Mysterio strike third time lucky?

JBL: I don’t think so Michael. But no one thought that he would become the World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania 22, and Rey Mysterio proved his critics wrong. Can he do it again tonight?

“Booyaka 619” hits and Rey Mysterio comes out to a thunderous pop from the Chicago Crowd. He pops out of the floor and raises his arm in the air, before making his way down to the ring slapping hands with fans at ringside. Mysterio looks down the ramp, looking more focused than he has even been in his career.

“Metalingus” hits and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge comes out to the biggest heat of the evening. He steps through the smoke and raises his title in the air setting off some pyros. Edge makes his way down to the ring looking as cocky as ever, chewing some gun and giving out a very confident cocky smile as he enters the ring.

Match 6
World Heavyweight Championship
Edge © v Rey Mysterio

The referee calls for the bell, as Rey Mysterio who is standing on the ring apron locks eyes with Edge. Edge looks to the side before suddenly charging up at Rey Mysterio trying to catch him by surprise, but Mysterio reacts quickly and drives his shoulder into the sternum of Edge who staggers back into the centre of the ring. Mysterio goes for a springboard seated senton splash, but Edge moves out of the way and bounces off the ropes as Mysterio lands on his feet. Mysterio slides between Edge’s legs and he then runs to the ropes and goes for a springboard moonsault onto a standing Edge, who once again moves out of the way as Mysterio lands on his feet. Edge meets Mysterio with a kick to the mid section and sends him off the ropes, Edge goes for a clothesline but Mysterio ducks and comes back off the ropes with a Tilt a Whirl Headscissors! Mysterio then meets Edge to his feet with a dropkick taking Edge back into the corner of the ring, and Mysterio then runs up and sends Edge back into the centre of the ring with a monkey toss! Rey then pounds away at Edge into the corner with a series of hard lefts and rights, but his attempt for an Irish Whip is countered by Edge who sends Mysterio into the opposite corner. Mysterio then staggers back into Edge who goes for a German Suplex, only for Mysterio to counter it into a roll up from a bodyscissors position 1….2….Kickout by Edge!

Edge gets to his feet first and meets Mysterio with a kick to the gut, and whips him against the ropes. Edge ducks down too early however, and Mysterio goes for a sunset flip but Edge stands his ground. Edge then throws his fist at Mysterio who moves out of the way and Edge punches the mat. Edge shakes his fist in agony, as Mysterio speeds off the ropes and comes back with a Spinning Wheel Kick to the jaw of Edge! Mysterio then hooks the near leg 1….2….Edge kicks out! Rey then goes to lift Edge to his feet, but Edge trips him up and goes straight after the knee of Mysterio which caused him to miss most of this year through injury, but Mysterio in desperate fashion kicks Edge in the face, and Edge falls over the bottom rope in position for the 619! Mysterio speeds off the ropes and goes for the 619, but Edge moves out of the way and leaves the ring to take a breather, which gains huge heat from the crowd. Edge shows his cockiness pointing to his head, telling Chicago that he used his brain to get out of that one. But you don’t turn your back on Rey Mysterio, who hits a modified 619 to Edge on the outside kicking him square in the face taking the Champ down! Mysterio then bounces off the ropes as Edge gets to his feet, but the referee gets in the way and tells Rey to stay in the ring, which gains some more huge heat. Rey looks angry with this, as the referee bends through the middle and top rope and asks Edge if he is ok. Mysterio ignores the referee’s instructions as he speeds off the ropes and hits a SOMERSAULT SEATED SENTON OVER THE REFEREE, OVER THE TOP ROPE AND ONTO EDGE ON THE OUTSIDE!

Edge ducks down too early however, allowing Rey to come back with a kick square to the face of the Champion. Mysterio then speeds off the ropes and comes back looking for a bulldog out of a bodyscissors position onto the Champion, whom perfectly counters the move with a WHEELBARROW GERMAN SUPLEX! Rey then charges up at Edge who catches Mysterio with a flapjack, with Mysterio landing throat first on the top rope! The referee starts counting Edge out on the outside, as Rey Mysterio uses this useful time to recover from the punishment he has received. Rey Mysterio gets to his feet just as Edge climbs up onto the ring apron and puts one foot in the ring breaking the count. But before he can climb fully through the ropes, Mysterio hits him with a hard right hand. Mysterio then backs off a few paces, before dropkicking Edge in the knees causing Edge to fall face first onto the ring apron and fall onto the concrete floor on the outside. As he pulls the leg out wide, and slams it even harder against the steel ring post. Edge then gets back into the ring and pulls Mysterio into the centre of the ring, grabbing his legs and flipping over into a bridge 1….2….Mysterio kicks out. Edge looks slightly shocked at the referee, but keeps calm and goes back after Mysterio’s knee. Edge stomps away at it some more, before getting Mysterio locked into a One Legged Boston Crab, and he puts pressure on the neck of Mysterio as he locks it in driving his knee into the back of Rey Mysterio’s head. Rey Mysterio yells out in pain as Edge tries to tear Rey Mysterio’s leg out of its socket. Rey Mysterio cannot move himself to the ropes, and he yells out in agony as he tries all he can to not tap out. MYSTERIO GETS HIS SHOULDER UP JUST BEFORE THE COUNT OF 3!

Edge gets to his feet and immediately grabs the referee by the shirt and starts shouting at him, telling him that was a three count. Edge then using his hands signals he has had enough and he gets out of the ring and starts making his way down the ramp. But at the count of 6 he realises that he has control of Mysterio here, and if he loses via count out Mysterio will most likely get another title shot. So he charges back down to the ring, getting in at the count of 9 and he starts pounding away at Mysterio into the corner of the ring with some closed right fists. The referee has a go at Edge about this, but Edge shoves him out of the way. Edge then goes to climb up onto the top rope, when Mysterio kicks Edge in the face showing some resiliency. Winner: STILL World Heavyweight Champion Edge in 17:34

Cole: EDGE RETAINS THE TITLE! You have got to give credit to Rey Mysterio he put on a hell of a effort, but he was in too much pain and had no other choice than to tap out.

JBL: I don’t need to give any credit to Rey Mysterio. I need to give some credit to the man who is still our World Heavyweight Champion. He wrestled a perfect game, he saw a weakness and he went after it. That makes a great champion.

Cole: Your right partner, he knew that Rey Mysterio has been out for many months with an injured knee and if Mysterio never had that injury, we could of very well saw a different result tonight.

JBL: Oh excuses, excuses. Michael like it or not Edge is the better man and the better wrestler, and like it or not he is the best in the WORLD today.

Cole: Well he maybe, but next month at Survivor Series he is going to have an even bigger test. As he will face the winner of tonight’s Hell in a Cell Match between Batista and The Undertaker.

JBL: Whomever wins this match tonight, will probably not even make it to Survivor Series

We then go backstage to see Ken Kennedy, Randy Orton and Vince McMahon who are in the middle of a conversation.

Orton: We are going to win this match and do you know why? Because they can’t get along. They both want a title shot my WWE Championship, and they are going to get in each other’s way. I assure you Vince that there is no stopping Randy Orton and Ken Kennedy tonight, and I will end the careers of both Chris Jericho and John Cena and I will get the winning pinfall.

Kennedy: Hang on a second, are you forgetting someone. Randy you go into the ring and do your stupid little and pose and you do your thing, but I AM THE MAN that will get the winning pinfall tonight. And at Survivor Series I will be taking that WWE Championship.

Orton: Hang on Kennedy that’s not the kind of team mentality we need. This WWE Champion makes me the team leader, and this means that I should get the winning pinfall tonight.

Kennedy: You the team captain? You running this team would be worse than George W Bush running the United States of America. If anybody was to be the team captain and get the winning pinfall in tonight’s match. It should be MISTEERRRRR KENNNNEDDDDYYY….

Orton: N….

Kennedy: KENNNEDDDYY!

Crowd gives a mixed reaction

Kennedy: How do you like them apples huh? How do you like them…

VINCE: SHADDAAPP!

Crowd Pops as Kennedy jumps and then holds onto his ears

Vince: What I don’t need is you two at each other’s throats. I couldn’t care less who gets the winning pinfall; all I want you to do is to out there not only beat John Cena and Chris Jericho. But end John Cena and Chris Jericho you got that.

Randy Orton nods as Ken Kennedy points to Randy Orton and mouths that was your fault.

Vince: Now let’s go out there and do the job.

McMahon, Kennedy and Orton then walk away with their match up next.

Survivor Series commercial

“Turn up the trouble” hits and Ken Kennedy comes down to the ring to some big heat from the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring looking as cocky as ever.

JR: What an opportunity this is for Ken Kennedy; if he gets the winning pinfall he will get his first WWE Title shot in his young career at the next PPV Survivor Series.

King: Everybody has been talking about how John Cena and Chris Jericho will struggle to coexist. But what about Ken Kennedy and Randy Orton as we just saw backstage.

“Burn inside my light” hits and the WWE Champion Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring to the biggest heat of the evening so far. Orton enters the ring and briefly stares at Kennedy, before raising his title belt in the air. As Orton does so we see Vince McMahon walking down to the ring. Vince enters ring and he briefly talks to Orton and Kennedy as they await their opponents.

JR: The WWE Champion has a chance to make sure that his biggest rival John Cena along with Chris Jericho and Ken Kennedy do not get a title shot until at least after Survivor Series. So he will be desperate to get the win in this tag team match.

“Break the walls down” hits and Chris Jericho comes out to a huge pop from the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring, halting at the bottom of the ramp and waits for his partner.

JR: Last month we found out that Chris Jericho was Vince McMahon’s bastard son. And he has told Vince he is going to make his life a living hell, and what way can he make it as worse as by winning the WWE Championship.

King: I still don’t think he is his son JR. Chris Jericho is far too ugly to be Vince McMahon’s son. Vince McMahon is a man of class and dignity, and Chris Jericho compared to Vince McMahon is the lowest scum on the earth.

“My time is now” hits and John Cena comes out to the biggest pop of the evening, despite a few scattered boos. John Cena makes his way down to the ring looking pumped up for this match, before stopping by Chris Jericho on the outside and they lock eyes.

JR: There is one goal in John Cena’s mind and that is to regain his WWE Championship.

King: This man does not deserve a WWE Title shot JR. He lost fair and square to Randy Orton at Unforgiven, and he can’t face the fact that Randy Orton is a great WWE Champion.

Chris Jericho can not capitalise however as he is too beat down, and John Cena and Ken Kennedy try to urge the crowd to chant their partners name urging their partners to make the tag. Chris Jericho starts crawling over to John Cena, only for Randy Orton to grab hold of his leg. Jericho however hits Orton with an Enzuigiri AND HE TAGS IN JOHN CENA! The referee then turns around and PUSHES A FURIOUS JOHN CENA BACK TO THE CORNER, AS HE DID NOT SEE THE TAG BEING MADE! John Cena starts to lose his temper on the ring apron, as Ken Kennedy smiles in the opposite corner knowing he stopped this match from turning on it’s head. Chris Jericho however goes to tag Cena in to stop the controversy, but Randy Orton spins Jericho around and hits him with a hard right hand. Chris Jericho responds with a chop to the chest, and the two men go at it exchanging fist for chop. Jericho gets the better of the WWE Champion backing him into the corner, before sending him into the opposite corner with an Irish whip. Vince McMahon seeing the tension between the two men quickly tells Orton that it was John Cena who broke the count. Orton gives both men suspicious looks before walking back over to Chris Jericho, to the relief of Ken Kennedy and Vince McMahon. Randy Orton gets down onto his knees and grabs Chris Jericho by the hair, and starts hitting him with some hard right hands and he sees that Chris Jericho is not looking good at all. Randy Orton for the second time in the last few minutes of the match, signals for the running punt to the head of Chris Jericho as he starts sizing him up. Vince McMahon then goes over to the Timekeepers table and grabs the WWE Title and slides it into the path of Ken Kennedy. Vince McMahon then once again gets on the ring apron and distracts the referee. Chris Jericho sees this and he drops to the outside and starts heading off after Vince McMahon. Chris Jericho hits a series of Knife Edge chops to the chest of Ken Kennedy, who then reverses an Irish whip attempt by Chris Jericho who explodes back off the ropes with a step up enzuigiri to the back of Ken Kennedy’s head. This somehow does not knock Ken Kennedy off his feet however as Ken Kennedy keeps himself on his feet in a very dazed manner, as Chris Jericho comes from behind and connects with the One Handed Bulldog on Ken Kennedy. Jericho then notices Ken Kennedy is on his back in the centre of the ring, so he runs to the ropes and connects with the LIANSAULT ON KEN KENNEDY! Vince McMahon then shouts orders at Ken Kennedy, who leaves the ring and moments later comes back in with a Steel Chair in hand. Ken Kennedy passes the Chair to Vince McMahon, as Ken Kennedy and a recovering Randy Orton lift Jericho to his feet and hold him back for Vince who now has a chair in hand. Vince shouts in Jericho’s face and goes to swing the Chair, when the crowd erupts onto their feet as from behind SHANE MCMAHON HITS KEN KENNEDY AND RANDY ORTON WITH STEEL CHAIR SHOTS TO THE BACK! Shane McMahon, who was supposed to be in the hospital after being knocked out by Randy Orton on Raw, has come down to attack both Ken Kennedy and Randy Orton. Then on the outside Shane McMahon goes over to the Raw Announce Table and strips the equipment off it before climbing onto the ring apron, and telling John Cena something we cannot hear. John Cena then grabs Ken Kennedy and tosses him over the top rope to the outside, before grabbing hold of Vince McMahon and pushing him under the bottom rope to the outside. Shane McMahon then rolls his father onto the announce table, as John Cena then leaves the ring and he rolls Ken Kennedy onto the same announce table side by side with Vince McMahon. John Cena then keeps hold of Shane McMahon, who points to the top rope of the ring as the Chicago crowd start buzzing in anticipation as they think they know what is coming. Shane jumps onto the ring apron and then climbs up onto the top rope. Shane then looks down at Kennedy and Vince McMahon on the announce table and he uses his fingers to draw a cross on his chest. SHANE MCMAHON THEN COMES OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH A DIVING ELBOW DROP DRIVING KEN KENNEDY AND HIS OWN FATHER THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!!

“Holy Shit” chants erupt all over Chicago Illinois, as the camera cuts down to the ramp where a second referee is sprinting to the ring. We then cut to the ring to see why the referee is running so fast as CHRIS JERICHO HAS RANDY ORTON IN THE WALLS OF JERICHO!! We see Randy Orton screaming for pain in the ring, as John Cena has no clue what is going on in the ring as he checks up on Shane McMahon. Winners: Chris Jericho and John Cena in 22:04 (Jericho wins right to face WWE Champion at Survivor Series

Chris Jericho gets too his feet and gets his arms raised in the air, but a furious John Cena starts complaining to the referee as Ken Kennedy was the legal man. But the referee waves off John Cena telling him that Chris Jericho has won the match before leaving the ring as Chris Jericho and John Cena lock eyes. John Cena stares a hole through Chris Jericho whose music cuts off as it looks like the two men are going to go at it. But John Cena offers his hand to Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho looks at Cena not so sure about his offer, as Cena tells Jericho to be a man. Jericho shakes Cena’s hand, which gets a huge pop from the crowd, as John Cena then signals to Jericho that when he beats Randy Orton he wants the first title shot before leaving the ring.

JR: Great class shown there by John Cena, he didn’t get what he wanted but is still respectful enough to shake Chris Jericho's hand.

King: JR if I was John Cena, I would of knocked Chris Jericho’s head off right there.

JR: Well what a great Raw main event that was, and this means that at Survivor Series Randy Orton will face Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship. And Chris Jericho could win the WWE Title for the first time in over 5 years. But we still have one huge match left, lets go over to JBL and Michael Cole!

Michael Cole: Thank you JR, it is now time for one of the biggest matches in WWE History. You can see this Demonic Structure; the Hell in a Cell is hovering just above the ring. And this structure will play the final round of The Undertaker v Batista feud. JBL what will both men be thinking ahead of quite possibly one of their biggest matches in their career.

JBL: Only god knows Michael; I have waited for this match all night. And now it is time for hell to be unleashed on The Undertaker and Batista.

Cole: It sure is partner, let’s see how this all came about.

Quote:
A video package plays hyping up the main events which has led to tonight’s match
We start the feud all the way back at Wrestlemania 23 with Undertaker beating Batista to win the World Title.
We then see clips of their matches after that including the Last Man Standing at Backlash and the Steel Cage Match on Smackdown.
We then see clips of Undertaker getting injured at the hands of Mark Henry.
We then fast forward to Unforgiven where Taker beats Mark Henry and Batista spears him on the ramp afterwards.
Finally we see clips of the two men going at it since then, showing Batista’s change in attitude, and see the two men brawling while both men speaking about what they are going to do to each other is played in the background.
We then cut back to the arena where the Hell in the Cell is down on the floor and we then cut to the ramp way.

“I Walk Alone” hits and Batista comes out to some HUGE HEAT FROM THE CROWD! Batista makes his normal traditional entrance, ignoring the crowd trying to get himself into the zone, and concentrate on the match ahead.

Cole: I have never in my life heard this type of reaction for Batista, a man who just a month ago was so loved by crowds all over the world and they have turned their backs on him because of his change in attitude in the last few weeks.

JBL: I know what it is like for that to happen to you, but I am sure Batista doesn’t care about these Morons. All this man cares is prove that he can beat The Undertaker, and gain a World Title Shot by doing so.

“Gong” hits and The Undertaker comes out to quite possibly the biggest pop of the night, and he makes his traditional long entrance to the ring. The Undertaker slowly makes his way to the ring, as Batista looks very impatient in the ring circling the ring staring down The Undertaker.

Cole: The Undertaker has made a legend out of himself in this match in the past. Just ask Shawn Michaels or Mick Foley. Will we talking about another Undertaker Hell In A Cell moment after tonight.

JBL: The Undertaker has never faced anyone as big or tough as Batista in the Hell In A Cell though Michael. Batista tore Triple H apart two years ago in this structure, and before that Triple H was undefeated in this type of match. And I believe that tonight could be a Batista Hell In A Cell moment.

Match 8

As Undertaker makes his entrance into the demonic structure, Batista wastes no time charging at Undertaker before he is even ready taking him to the outside of the Cell with a SPEAR ON THE UNDERTAKER! Batista then drags Taker to his feet and once again goes to whip Taker into the cell, and this time he does so and he then catches a staggering Undertaker with a clothesline. Batista then lifts Taker to his feet and he pushes Undertaker’s head against the Steel, and he starts raking Undertaker’s face along the Steel. Batista sees the damage this is doing to The Undertaker, so he decides to drag Undertaker all the way round the ring, raking Undertaker’s face all way round. But half way round Taker cuts Batista off with a high knee to the gut of Batista, and he repays the favour raking Batista’s head around the second half of the Cell along the Steel. The Undertaker then places Batista’s head between his legs and he lifts Batista up onto his shoulders in position for a Powerbomb, and he rams Batista spine first into the Cell! Batista comes back off the ropes but is caught with a very un Undertaker like move, as Taker catches him with an armdrag takedown. The Undertaker then drops a leg over the arm, before wrapping his legs around it and starts pulling Batista’s arm out of its socket. Undertaker however decides not to finish Batista off with that move as he lets go of the hold and drags Taker back to his feet. Undertaker wrenches Batista’s arm and climbs up top. He walks the ropes, but for the second time in the match Batista counters the Old School as he pulls Batista off the top rope AND CATCH HIM IN MID AIR WITH A SPINEBUSTER! The referee drops to the mat and asks if Batista wants to quit, and Batista sure as hell looks like he wants to, but he knows what’s on the line and knows he can not quit. This gives Batista the urge to somehow find the strength inside of him, to spin around onto his stomach and from the mat to lift Undertaker onto his shoulders to set him up for the Batista Bomb! But Undertaker pushes himself over Batista’s shoulders onto the mat, as Batista falls back into the corner having to use all of his strength in that one move. Batista then wraps his legs around Undertaker’s body, and his arms around his throat locking on a Dragon Sleeper Hold! This is not the kind of move Batista would usually do, but Batista locks it on very effectively squeezing away at Undertaker like a Snake. The crowd in audience start clapping their hands and tapping their foot on the floor, trying to urge Undertaker on, but Undertaker does not look good whatsoever and looks like he is beginning to fade away. The referee sees this and lifts his arm up once……and it drops……he lifts it a second time…….and it drops…….He lifts it a third time, can this be it?……..No Taker keeps it up! Batista looks on in disbelief as Undertaker pushes Batista’s legs off him, and he starts fighting his way to his feet! The Undertaker gets up and elbows his way out before bouncing off the ropes. Batista then very oddly puts his hands in his trunks and pulls out a bag. Batista then puts his hand in the bag and PULLS OUT SOME HANDCUFFS!

The crowd boos loudly as a slight smirk appears through Batista’s bloody face. Batista still sitting on the ground puts one handcuff around Undertaker’s right hand, and pulls him up to his feet and he handcuffs him to the Cell! Undertaker finally realises the predicament he is, and he does all he can to pull himself off the cell, as Batista looks under the ring and pulls out a Steel Chair. Batista then approaches Taker who throws left hand punches at Batista which all miss. Undertaker then goes to kick Batista with his injured leg, but Batista swings the chair and smashes the Chair across the back of Undertaker’s Injured Leg. Batista then drives the chair into the gut, before SMASHING THE STEEL CHAIR OFF THE UNDERTAKER’S SKULL BUSTING HIM OPEN! Batista hasn’t finished just there however as he then repeatedly smashes the chair over every limb on The Undertaker’s body, hitting Undertaker with at least twelve chair shots giving us memories of Rock v Stone Cold from Wrestlemania 17. As The Undertaker sits on the ground with Blood Pouring down him like a River, Batista goes after some more Steel Steps on the outside of the ring. Batista lifts it up and waits for him to get back to his feet, which somehow The Undertaker valiantly does so fighting the pain. BATISTA THEN CHARGES UP WITH THE STEEL STEPS AND CRASHES THEM INTO UNDERTAKER, SANDWICHING HIM BETWEEN STEPS AND CELL!

The Undertaker drops to the ground like a sack of potatoes, which thankfully for him tear the Handcuffs off the cell, but it might be too late. For the first time we hear chants of “Batista sucks”, but Batista is completely oblivious to that as he looks down at Undertaker in an almost Psychotic fashion. Batista then tries to lift Taker up to his feet, but struggles to lift up his lifeless body, but when he does so he rolls him into the ring. Batista then rolls into the ring and he makes the cover but not hooking the leg, but that shouldn’t matter anyway

UNDERTAKER GETS HIS SHOULDER OFF THE MAT SOMEHOW!!

Batista storms to his feet and kicks the bottom rope, before grabbing the referee by the shirt, shouting out loud that was a three. The referee shakes his hands and signals it was a two count, looking rather scared that Batista is going to hit him. Batista however shoves the referee away and looks around thinking what to do next. Batista then looks to the outside and quickly rolls to the outside and goes after the Camera Man. He tries to take the Camera off him, but the Camera Man very stupidly says he needs it to do his job. This makes Batista kick the Camera Man in the gut and toss him head first into the cell! The crowd boos Batista who doesn’t care who you are you don’t get in his way, as he grabs the Camera and brings it into the ring. Batista then looks on at disgust at The Undertaker, who is somehow getting up to his feet. Batista starts breathing very heavily as Undertaker starts to turn around. Batista swings the Camera at The Undertaker….WHO DUCKS! UNDERTAKER THEN GRABS BATISTA AND SPINS HIM UPSIDE DOWN, AND SOMEHOW HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! Nobody in the arena can believe that Taker could hit the Tombstone Piledriver after the beating he just received, but Undertaker can not capitalise as he is in too much pain. The Undertaker finally starts to respond as he crawls over to Batista and hooks the leg

BATISTA KICKS OUT OF THE TOMBSTONE!!

Hang on nobody kicks out of the Tombstone Piledriver? The Undertaker looks on at Batista with disgust on his face, not believing that Batista kicked out of the Tombstone Piledriver. The Undertaker slowly gets to his feet with help from the ropes and drags Batista to his feet and starts pounding away at him against the ropes, The Undertaker then whips Batista off the opposite side of the ropes and charges up to meet him with a clothesline, but Batista is thinking the same thing and both men take each other down with a clothesline. Both men are down and out, but there are no count outs in this match. After a wait of nearly 30 seconds, both men start to slowly reach their feet in opposite corners of the ring via help from the ropes. They then turn around to meet each other in the centre of the ring and Batista throws a hard right hand, to which Undertaker throws one back. Batista throws another hard right, and Undertaker replies again with a stinging hard jab. This carries on as both men get into a fistfight, with neither man looking like they are going to give in. But Batista is the man to do so, as Undertaker pounds away at Batista into the corner with a series of hard left and rights to the face. Undertaker then leads Batista to the ropes and goes to whip him off them, but Batista counters. Batista ducks down too early however allowing Undertaker to come back with a RUNNING DDT ONTO BATISTA! Undertaker then crawls over Batista and he hooks the leg 1….2….Batista kicks out somehow!

Undertaker then lifts Batista to his feet and wrenches his arm, before making his way to the corner of the ring and climbing to the top rope. Undertaker walks the top rope and he is third time lucky, as he finally connects with the Old School on the third time of trying. Undertaker then once again signals for the end, as he lifts his hand in the air and wiggles his fingers. Batista gets to his feet in a very dazed and confused manner, before turning around straight into The Undertaker who grabs him by the throat. The Undertaker then lifts Batista in the air and DROPS HIM WITH A MAT BREAKING CHOKESLAM! Undertaker then gets down to make the cover and surely this has to be it

BATISTA KICKS OUT AGAIN!!

The Undertaker looks at the referee in a “What the Hell” type manner, thinking to himself what it will take to finish Batista off. As the injured camera man is taken out of the cell on a stretcher, Undertaker takes advantage of the Cell door being open and he goes to the outside of the ring and grabs the ring bell. Undertaker then brings the bell into the ring and he starts sizing Batista up, who starts to very slowly recover to his feet by the Steel Steps. As Batista reaches his feet, UNDERTAKER CHARGES UP AT BATISTA, WHO OUT OF NOWHERE CATCHES UNDERTAKER WITH A SPINEBUSTER ONTO THE STEEL STEPS!! The crowd gives some “Ooos” and “ahhs” feeling Undertaker’s pain, as a bloody Batista starts to slowly crawl over to Undertaker before putting an arm over his chest

UNDERTAKER NOW KICKS OUT!

The crowd sighs out loud in relief, as it is now The Undertaker’s time to show a bit of resiliency and kick out, when he didn’t have any right to do so. Batista sits up and he reaches for his foot looking around thinking what the Hell he has to do to beat The Undertaker. A bloody and beaten Batista then slowly rolls to the outside, and he pulls up the ring apron. Batista then pulls out a giant bag from underneath the ring, and his head then pops over the ring apron looking at The Undertaker with a very psychotic tone in his face. Batista then rolls into the ring and he gets to his feet. He then opens the bag and turns it upside down……AND THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF THUMBTACKS DROP DOWN INTO THE CENTRE OF THE RING! We can hear the crowd murmuring in anticipation, as they know something big is about to go down. Batista spreads out the thumbtacks evenly, before picking The Undertaker slowly up to his feet. Batista places Undertaker’s head between his legs, and it looks as though Batista is going to hit the Batista Bomb to Taker on the Thumbtacks. But The Undertaker saves himself, as he rams Batista into the corner of the ring and he starts desperately pounding away at Batista with some hard right hands. Undertaker then lifts Batista to the top rope and goes to climb up there with him, but Batista kicks him in the face allowing him some time to recover. But Undertaker goes straight after Batista, who then looks around for a mode of escape. And he finds one as he climbs onto the Cell Wall behind the turnbuckle, as The Undertaker climbs up onto the middle rope.

The two giants then slug if out, exchanging hard right hands. Batista looks like he is getting the better of Undertaker, who looks like he is going to fall backwards onto the Thumbtacks. But Taker keeps his grip and GRABS BATISTA BY THE THROAT! THE UNDERTAKER THEN ADJUSTS POSITION AND CHOKESLAMS BATISTA OFF THE INSIDE WALL OF THE CELL ALL THE WAY DOWN INTO THE RING ONTO THE THUMBTACKS!! “Holy Shit” is echoed around the arena as Taker wipes the Thumbtacks that stuck onto his arm and attire, before cutting his throat signalling the end is here for Batista. Undertaker grabs Batista and turns him inside AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!! Undertaker then hooks Batista’s arms on his chest and closes his eyes sticking out his tongue

NO!! BATISTA KICKED OUT AGAIN!!

Nobody in the arena can believe, with the Undertaker, the referee, the announcers, the timekeeper, the fans all with their mouth open wide in shock. Undertaker looks down at Batista who looks out of it despite that Kickout. Undertaker drags Batista’s dead weight to his feet, and he twists Batista upside down setting him up for the third Tombstone Piledriver. AND HE WALKS OVER TO THE STEEL STEPS. AND HE DROPS BATISTA HEAD FIRST ON THE STEEL STEPS WITH THE THIRD TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!! Undertaker rolls Batista off the steps and he puts hooks Batista’s arm on his chest, cross armed making the cover, while rolling his eyes into the back of his head and sticking out his tongue

UNDERTAKER WINS HELL IN A CELL

Winner: The Undertaker in 25:03 (Undertaker is now the number 1 contender for World Heavyweight Championship)

And finally it is over. The Cell is immediately lifted back up above the ring as paramedics rush down to the ring pushing stretchers down to the ring. A bloody and beaten Undertaker tries to get to his feet, but immediately falls down to his knees, as there is no movement by Batista.

Cole: HE DID IT! HE DID IT! THE UNDERTAKER HAS BEATEN BATISTA AND THANK GOD THIS MATCH IS OVER!

JBL: What a match that was Michael! We knew these two mammoths would tear down the house tonight, and they have done that and more. The Undertaker won this match, but neither he nor Batista will ever be the same again.

Cole: What a performance by both men. They put their bodies on the line, and like Batista or not he put on a hell of an effort kicking out of all The Undertaker had to offer.

JBL: Your right Michael nobody kicks out of two Tombstone Piledrivers and Batista did just that. And with the state Batista is in, he is not going to take this loss very well.

As we prepare to sign off, The Undertaker leaves the ring as the paramedics attempt to help Batista onto the stretcher. Batista though pushes them out of the way and uses the ropes to get to his feet, wanting to leave the ring on his own two feet. Batista walks out of the arena with the help of two paramedics, and he definitely looks to be concussed in some sort of fashion.

Cole: How are these two men leaving this arena on their own power I don’t know JBL. But at in just 5 weeks time at Survivor Series, Edge will get his toughest title defence since he has won the World Heavyweight Title. As Edge will face the man who just went to hell and back tonight, The Undertaker.

JBL: I don’t know how Undertaker will even get to Survivor Series after this one Michael.

Cole: Well that’s it for a fantastic No Mercy PPV. The Hell In A Cell has just proved why it is the most deadliest structure in the history of the WWE. For JBL, I’m Michael Cole signing off. Goodnight everybody.

END OF SHOW

NO MERCY REVIEW
BY SC2004.

- I really liked the opening video package featuring the hell in the cell history and the ongoing feud between The Undertaker and Batista. It actually made Batista look like the underdog, I guess that was the aim.

- The opening commentary was spot up, just was is needed at the start of any PPV event. Cole, JBL, King and JR all worked together to hype the show.

- The finish to the triple threat match was classic with Carlito stealing it to be fair. CM Punk had it one, but Carlito went and threw him out of the ring and covered Morrison for the win. I though you may of went with Punk, but this finish sets up a feud between him and Carlito.

- The Jericho, Cena match was funny, both were in character and helped to show just how much tension there is between them both. Liked how Jericho told Cena he wasn’t champion because he couldn’t beat Randy Orton. So true. Ha.

- A seven match series, man you don’t read many, if any of those on here. it’s a novel idea and the thought that these men have to fight so hard to call themselves champion works well. Even though Kash won here, I still have to go with Noble as the potential winner of the series.

- Just can’t get used to MVP being so, well modest. Actually not modest, he’s still cocky as heck in the promo with the Hardy’s, he’s just a lot less cocky. Ha. Still don’t trust him and I think Jeff is right!

- I’d actually like to see this match in real life. I’m sure its gone down on TV, but I don’t watch Smackdown all that much, so I’ve never seen it. Loved Kane double choke slamming Finlay and Hornswaggle. I’m a Kane fan, so I was pleased with the outcome here. As Michael Cole said, this was a hard fought victory.

- I think you made an excellent choice taking the tag belts off of MVP and Hardy, as the finish sets up a less than predictable feud between the two. I say less then predictable in the sense that I though MVP would intentionally nail hardy with the belt and he didn’t. Makes this all the more interesting.

- Intense promo by the Game, its unusual to see Triple H not in the main event, but also very refreshing. In my opinion, different is always a good thing. Wow, what a violent finish. Two sledgehammer blows, allows Umaga to pick up what has to be he biggest win to date. I loved this finish, dirty but very effective and to be fair, Umaga looked strong throughout,, yet he didn’t make the game look weak, that’s some good writing write there. My favourite match so far. The aftermath was awesome. Umaga after this showing is primed for a shot at the title, once there is a face holding the gold.

- Edge is such an ass, but his promo sure was funny. Man your pushing Umaga to the stars and beyond tonight. He attacks HHH again, man your going for the hard monster sell here and it worked. Don’t think anyone has ever done this to Triple H.

- Don’t get me wrong, you did a great job writing this, its just there actual matches at the Rumble and NOW were in my head reading this and in my opinion they both sucked. Don’t think either man click when they are in the ring together, just opinion. The match was good though, don’t get me wrong.

- I know you’ve build the tag match up, but I still find it odd that is got a higher billing then the title match with edge and Rey. Just a though and it doesn’t matter at all really.

- Vomit, Jericho and Cena shake hands at the end. I’m just kidding, it’s the right thing to have done. So happy Cena didn’t win, Jericho is far more talented. Props for the spot in which put Kennedy and his daddy through a table. That was way cool. Nice to see Shane O Mac make a surprise appearance too, didn’t expect that at all.

- It’s an odd PPV this, mush like at No Way Out 2008, the main event, or even the match proceeding it are not title matches. Strange, but it worked in my opinion having the hell in the cell as the main event. At KOTR 1998, it went before the Austin, Kane match and totally overshadowed it. Batista took an ass whopping, for instance, at one stage he got a chair shot to the arm and a lead pipe across the skull busting him open. Violent stuff, but would have been cool to watch. I’m a huge Undertaker fan , so for him to win here was super cool and avenges the loss at Survivor series 07 in my head anyway, not in this BTB obviously. Ha.

Overall: To be fair I’m not the best PPV review. I’m a promo Hoare, lol. But this I mean I find more entertainment reading TV shows, with all the backstage stuff, the promo’s and all of that. I tend to bore reading long matches, but I must admit, this PPV kept me entertained from start to finish, not something I can always claim. Your obviously an extremely talented match writer and this PPV is testament to that.

Nige’s No Mercy Feedback

A really good opening video, very detailed history about The Undertaker’s matches inside Hell in a Cell. It will be weird that the only World title match tonight will be undermined by the Batista/Taker and the Raw tag match

I like the triple threat opening the show as it will be fast paced and very chaotic. I enjoyed it very much as you really worked some great spots into it with all three men, like the monkey flip into the dropkick. Punk locking in the Anaconda Vice was never going to be enough, but I was a bit disappointed he didn’t keep it on for a little longer to add some tension to it before the save. A triple threat always opens up the options of a finish like this, and it’s great to keep Punk looking strong and keeps the belt on the heel champion. Nice finish man

Jericho’s interview was good, but was simply brilliant when Cena came into it. The tension between them was played out brilliantly as you didn’t just tease it, you put it all out there and made it seem like they won’t be able to get along tonight, but I sense they will. There were some really hilarious lines involved too man, real good!

Kash against Noble has been built up brilliantly and was one match I was really looking forward to reading and had the advantage that I didn’t have a clue which way it was going to go as the result wasn’t all that important just yet. I’ve got to give you credit for going with a Best of 7 Series as it will be difficult to make each match look different. I really bought that Noble had it with the double knee buster, but I liked the sudden ending that then came to give Kash the win. Great start to the series

The Hardys and MVP promo was good, short and sweet like PPV ones should be. The little tease with Jeff brining up the fact that MVP was talking with Burke & Cor Von earlier on. I predicted that the time is now for them to drop the titles, and I still think that. LOL at MVP talking down to Matt!

Kane’s match with Finlay was brilliant. I love good old fashioned brawls like this, it really made the match better than just a normal match. The figure four around the ringpost was cool too and you really had Finlay look like he could possibly win. When he had the shillelagh, I thought that would be it, and again when Horny got involved. Kane overcoming the odds and pulling through was great for him and shows him to be a monster

What an awesome tag team title match! That was just awesome to read, especially from when Matt took the Players Boot. I just wondered how long it would take him to get back up as MVP took a bit of a battering. I like that you had him get his foot on the rope off The Alpha Slam as it sold the move well without looking the challengers look inferior. The pace picked up in such a big way with the missed Express on MVP, and even more so when Matt got in. It was just awesome from then on, and when the belt was mentioned, it was just obvious that Matt and MVP were losing, I just didn’t figure out that it would be an accident by MVP as I expected him to fully turn on Matt tonight. Either way it works out as I would quite like to see how you go down this route now as Matt can’t blame MVP for doing it on purpose

The interview before his match was good. The Game kept it simple and laid out plain and simple. Triple H and Umaga was another match I was really looking forward to as I expected it to be just mayhem. It got there eventually after some real nice work, the Samoan Drop was a nice little shocker. Umaga looked really dominant, but I didn’t see the finish coming. The brawl on the outside really turned it, but not for long, that did surprise me. Umaga seemed to be in control until the spinebuster. I loved how it unfolded from there with Estrada getting involved and the sledgehammer being used against The Game. That was huge, and I’m so glad that you had Umaga win. Myself included in other bookers have been guilty of not having the balls to give Umaga a big win over Triple H. I really dig that man! I think the victory was enough for Umaga, but I’m not sure whether the attack was going too far as Triple H had already been screwed and didn’t lose too much credit as he did by being dominated here

Man I loved the Edge promo, it was just friggin awesome. It had everything from intensity about how much he wants to break Mysterio, in addition to the funny lines too, and by linking them together quickly, it worked even better. Triple 820 tadpole splash!! LMAO!! Anyway, I also liked his comments about beating Batista and The Undertaker already this year, classic Edge and promo of the night by a million miles. Not because the others were bad, but simply because this was fantastic

Umaga attacking Triple H again really gives him a huge push. I don’t know what he will be doing if Triple H is out, but this was a real great way for Umaga to be shown as the monster that he is. Taking out Triple H is something not many people have been able to do, I just wonder what happens next

The World Championship match was just fucking incredible. This was the best match so far by a long way. It had everything, so many incredible close calls. Edge working over the knee was a great tactic, but everything from the spear and Rey getting his foot on the rope, the sunset flip powerbomb, edgecution, figure four, it was just so exciting and great to read. I always thought Edge would retain, but by making Rey tap out, it gave Edge an extra dimension that I don’t think many would have seen. Nice win for Edge and a fantastic match!

Orton & Kennedy promo was pretty good too, you’re really trying to give us a mind fuck aren’t you?! I think that these guys both have the ego to think they should be team captain, and Vince there with his shadapppppp was funny. The match just gets more intriguing. The match itself was just unbelievable, even better than the Edge/Rey match up. The amount of close calls again and everyone screwing each other was just brilliant to read and made the match just so entertaining and unpredictable. Vince’s involvement made it even more exciting, pulling the referee out too at the right time. Man, I should have expected Shane to come down and clean house like that. The elbow through the announce table was just brilliant, and then it was clear that Orton was going to lose. It was just a case of who was going to beat him. Jericho was the obvious one with his role as Vince’s son in the thread, so it makes sense to cash in on Jericho while he’s hot. The legal man situation may also change things as I can see a triple threat at the Survivor Series while Shane takes on Kennedy

The main event had a hard job of trying to outdo the previous two matches, which is hard to imagine really with it being hell in a cell. I can’t believe I said that, just shows how well you did with the previous matches. After reading this one, I might controversially state that the tag match before was better than this one, just for the unpredictability factor possibly. I always thought that The Undertaker would win this, I think I predicted it because of the face heel situation for the Survivor Series despite Batista’s turn. You made Batista look strong despite losing here, I just don’t see anyone kicking out of the Tombstone. The first time was okay because it took Taker some time to recover to hit it, but the second time I think was a mistake. Had Batista won, it would have been great for him, but still losing doesn’t make it a big deal that he kicked out of it. A very good match, but I loved the two matches before this

Overall, being as honest as I can be, there’s no doubt that to me, you are the best booker on this site, of the threads I read obviously before I piss some people off. The promos are always in character and have are very entertaining. Edge’s tonight was fantastic, and I think the matches here were unbelievable with the tag match getting the best response from me. Amazing show mate!
