Renegade's Raw Review:
Quick segment to start the night, more length would have helped this one for sure. But um, yeah Cena and Kane to feud soon is predictable and I see Kane putting Cena over and giving him more credibility.
Wow, something must be wrong with you, two women's matches in two weeks, what is wrong? Nah, but anyways the ever so imminent Trish/Lita feud continues on and Lita will indeed become champion, I can pretty much guarantee that.
Two quick promos and little hype for that insane twelve man tag match later tonight, never have I seen that many teams in a match but I'm pretty sure it's happened somewhere before.
Didn't like this next one, Trish didn't seem right to me really when the little parts she had she spoke, maybe that's me though. But anyways, I see this feud continuing on until Unforgiven.
Twelve man tag time and pretty fun match really with the teams that were involved in it. Ending makes me think we might see the Dudley's get the titles soon whenever they get their shots.
I didn't like this next promo much, you seem a little off tonight with these promos. But um, yeah Brown is hard to capture and he didn't seem right but Carlito was fine which is easy to capture Carlito's character.
I thought the next promo was okay, nothing special really but it was okay. Triple Threat seemed like it would happen as if it didn't, there wouldn't be anything for Shelton to do at the PPV.
Quick hardcore match and not surprised to see Holly make an appearance and try to get back the title. Something must be going on come Unforgiven and we might see Rhino vs. Holly for the title.
Maybe a promo should have been thrown in here to break the matches up as this is rare to see two back to back matches. But um, Haas gets the win and little buildup for Unforgiven is all it was.
Wow, no promo here and I don't consider D-X's prematch activities a promo as they do that every week. WOW! NEW CHAMPION! Vince? He's won it before but never thought he'd take it again, this title scene is getting confusing, let's hope something gets cleared up next week.
Renegade's Smackdown Review:
Gonna throw a few comments out since it's recapped. Quick win for Benoit, already a No Mercy tournament? Seems kinda early to me for that? Hmm, Hardcore Match next week which makes me think someone is up to something. Helms rolls over another CW, not much to say there. But um, interesting tag match set for next week, FBI are faces? Certainly strange there as they work better as heels most of the time. Quick win for AMW despite the interference, aftermath makes me think MNM gains the win next week. Angle seems confident to me, too confident. So does Lesnar. Helms and Nunzio added to the tag match, quick women's match which is interesting, you are starting to push the ladies now! Wow! And Undertaker wins and moves on, seems like a normal run of the mill Smackdown.

Raw Review- ORRY420 (Why wait)
Decent start to the show here with Cena typically running down the fans, throwing out plenty of his usual catch phrases. The length of this segment probally hurt it a bit, but the quick beat down of Kane was well written, with Cena coming out very strong in the end. Kane's credibility might have been damaged slightly considering he got taken out so quickly, so I expect the Big Red Machine to gain one up on his rival next week. By the way, the commentators after the segment said Cena challenged Kane to a match at Bad Blood, when it is in fact Unforgiven- slight miss hap in detail which isn't too important I suppose.
Lita vs. Mickie James:
I've never been a fan of Women's wrestling, the matches just appear dull and lifeless to me, but with the same three divas wrestling over and over (not just in your thread but basically in everyone elses), it makes it all that much worse. In another match between Mickie and Lita, the Rated R Superstar makes his presence felt, and as a result Lita manages to pick up the win and guarentee herself a match with Trish Stratus, presumebly next week. Edge's Spear was a nice touch and a good way to further get him over as a strong heel.
Lance Cade/Mark Jindrak Promo:
Standard promo from the Tag Team Champs, hyping themselves up and donwgrading every other team on Raw. Hit and miss promo here which probally wasn't entirely neccessary.
Edge/Lita/Trish Stratus Segment:
Another decent segment from you Gade, with Lita and Edge confronting the Women's Champion and guarenteeing victory next week. This was a little shaky, but despite that I have a feeling Lita might take the strap, but where she goes from there is anyone's guess.
12 Man Tag Team Match:
A pretty good match considering the teams involved. To be honest none of the 6 tandems appeal to me in the slightest, and with another old team in the Dudleys being brought back, the future of the tag team division is looking pretty glim. May I suggest brining in London/Kendrick or even LAX to liven things up? The match itself turned out to be pretty good, and with the Champs picking up the cheap win, I have a feeling we may see a title switch at Unforgiven.
Carlito/Monty Brown Segment:
The promos tonight have been a little shakey to be honest, and this was another example of that. The interaction between Brown and Carlito seemed off to me, and Brown's character, although quite hard to capture, was not written perfectly. In any event it looks like a feud might develop out of this, which should be pretty interesting in the long run.
Christian/RVD/Shelton Benjamin Segment:
Another example of a hit and miss segment, I guess it's just that kind of week (everyone has them
). Christian was fine for the most part, but when Van Dam and Shelton hit the ring things seemed to go downhill. Foley's announcement was a good one, and the match at the PPV should be phenomenal, and I think I'm pretty safe in sayign Christian will
pick up the win.
Rhyno vs. Raven:
As expected, this matcht urned out to be quite brutal, which ios fitting considering the feud these to have been developing in over the past few months. I had a slight inkling Holly might make his presence felt, and low and behold he did just that. Rhyno retains the strap, and a blow off match between the Champ and Holly is a given now.
Charlie Hass vs. Val Venis:
The Intercontinental Champion squashes Raw's resident jobber, and the feud between both AJ and Hass continues to be built nicely. Styles is taking the belt at Unforgiven in the rubber match of this feud, bvut it's great to see you are pushing Hass continuely hard as well.
HHH vs. Vince McMahon:
This.........was unexpected. The promo before the match was fine, DX seemed in character for the most part. The contest itslf turned out to be everything I thought it would be- until the end. HBK interferes and lays out the Game, before doing the same to McMahon. Vince falls on top of Triple H, and the pinfall is counted resulting in Vince Mcahon winning the WWE Championship! Wow! A suprisning end to a very entertaining night, and I can only wonder where you will go from here!
The matches were at there brilliant best, but the promos were quite shakey this week. Nether the less the show was very enjoyable, and McMahon winning the Title is without a doubt the biggest shock of the new year so far. You're guarenteed to get an award in the January voting for this one. 8/10
ORRY'S Smackdown! Review- Quick Comments
Benoit going over Hassan is definately the right choice, and I can't wait to see how far the Crippler goes in the tournament. Not sure who the favourite is at this stage, as long as it's not the 2 men who advanced last week.
Heyman segment would have been good to see written out in full, and a Holly/Rhino encounter should be gruesome to say the least.
Helsm basically destroys yet another Cruiserweight, as is record breaking reign contiues. This man desperately needs some competition, maybe a new signee?
The FBI/MNM segment was intriguing, and it looks as if we may have a three way tag team feud in the works! IMO, the FBI is a step below the other two teams in terms of quality, but it will be interesting to see where you go with it.
I wonder what Heyman was talking to Randy about???? I know it's gonna be something big!
AMW basically squash the Mexicools and continue to look strong as a team and as tag team champs. The attack from the FBI after was a nice touch, and with MNM looking on from the stage, the possibilities concerning this feud are endless.
Lesnar/Angle confrontation was awesome, which leads me to believe that Brock is an enormous chance in winning the tournament and facing Kurt at No Mercy. BTW, this Road to No Mercy tournament is a very similar concept to that of my ownKidding mate.
Good to see Helms may be getting some competition in the coming months, but in the form of Nunzio? Maybe after he destorys the Italian in this feud also, a new guy can step up to the plate and pose a real challenge?
Divas match to act as a filler which should previde suitable time for that much needed bathroom break.
JBL promo would of course been highly entertaining, and his match with Hardy younger should be an awesome encounter. Speaking of the Hardy's, where's the United States Champion tonight?
Main event time and the result eher was pretty obvious, with Taker making wuite light work of Regal to advance in the tourney.
Overall: Good recap show, and things on Smackdown! are definately heating up. An interest of note is that many big stars, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Jericho, Kennedy, Batista, Lashley etc were missing from tonoghts show. Maybe a 6 Man Tag Team match could have been booked?

Mac’s RAW Review
Cena comes out and cuts a pretty good promo. Not too hellish though which surprises me. The segment following his speech was a little weak. Kane didn’t come across as a monster and it hurt the potential Unforgiven match. Cena is coming across like the biggest thing on the planet right now, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Not cool. Anyway, after the match, Edge gives her a spear, further cementing him as an asshole. Maybe Mickie will find someone to help her out in the coming weeks…
Decent, run of the mill promo from Cade & Jindrak hyping their feud with The Dudleyz. Nice little promo from Trish and Lita. Triple threat involving Mickie at Unforgiven??
Twelve man tag team match?? Never heard of it. The heels pick up the win with Cade picking up the win over D’von. A little surprising to see that result since the challengers are usually the first to pick up a win.
Lots of short promos tonight, but as long as it gets the message across, its fine. Carlito and The Alpha Male have a bit of beef in the hallway, probably leading to a match between the two at Unforgiven.
Nice segment and Christian was definitely the star of this promo, using some great lines. Both Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin come out to exchange words, leading to the triple threat match at Unforgiven. Foley’s part was a bit short but he said all he needed to.
Hardcore match was pretty … meh. Hardcore Holly shows up and I’m assuming the triple threat feud that started at SummerSlam is continuing through tonight. Rhino picks up the win after a Gore and has the title.
Match seemed a little long for something that was a forgone conclusion. Haas picks up the win with his finisher. Haas’ line after the match was well done but didn’t need to be said on the mic.
Demolition of Vinnie Mac takes place in the main event. Shocked that Vince didn’t want the corporation at ringside. Michaels shows up and super kicks them both! McMahon wins the title. I’m guessing that they’ll either be a tournament or something because Vinnie Mac should not be the champ.
A couple of short promos but they all got their points across. Matches just seemed to be there. Overall a good show with some storyline development. 8/10

WWE: RAW - 8/28/06 - Review
~ Ehm, John Cena kicking off things was okay. He was right in character, but at some times, not everywhere. However, I didn’t like how the promo ended by Cena getting the upper-advantage. I would loved to see a stare-down between both men, or maybe Kane getting the best of Cena. Because all the Kane’s return’s hype has now gone down hill, and Cena should have looked a bit frightened.
~ Really very glad to see Lita picking-up the victory, and I hope that she becomes the new Women’s Champion, just to spruce the things up. I enjoyed Edge playing his part throughout the match nicely, and eventually getting the victory to Lita, with his interaction. Spear to Mickie aftermath was nice ‘cause it added a lot to Edge’s heel character.
~ A short promo from Cade and Jindrak, which I really didn’t enjoyed. Main problem of that promo was that I have hardly seen Cade and Jindrak speaking, so that was hard for me to imagine. Also, I’d like to add that it looked a bland promo.
~ Lita/Trish backstage confrontation could have been better, in sort of hyping the match-up. Edge should have played a part in there too, me thinks.
~ I actually would have preferred Dudleys to get a pinfall to take their team to the victory because they just returned last week, and I believe that they need a solid build-up. But, Headbangers coming out once again, for a match was a nice touch. Enjoyment was all over there in that match, which was a brawl all over, nothing biggie.
~ A confusing promo here. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. But please, I don’t wanna see a feud between Carlito and Monty.
~ Concept of this promo was really good. Christian was well with the microphone, but sometimes I just felt that he was off. Stealing RVD’s catchprashe was a good moment right there. Christian’s softcore humor was also nice. RVD and then came in Shelton, both looked okay, nothing special like Christian. A triple threat match to settle their issue at Unforgiven would be good, let’s see who’ll be crowned as the winner. I hope that it’s Christian though.
~ Another hardcore match, with a bit entertainment thrown it. Hardcore’s appearance was needed, to further hype his feud with Rhino. I think that somewhere down the line, we’ll see a Hardcore Match between them, but when? Also, I think that Rhino is running out of the challengers here at RAW.
~ Pretty much looked like the squash match of the night, but you made it well by Venis actually showing some of his talent to Haas. But then, as expected, Haas made a superman look-a-like return and got a victory over Venis. Where’s AJ though?
~ I actually can’t believe it! What a shocking way to end the show! Shawn Michaels returns once again and delivers the Sweet Chin Musics to both Triple H and Vinnie Mac. Didn’t expected McMahon to pull an upset. But anyway, it’s awesome that you’ve got a new champion because I think that Triple H was getting boring.
WWE: SmackDown! - 9/01/06 - Review
~ Before I start off, I’d like to request that please put up dates, when you post shows. I searched! Lol.
~ Benoit picking up a victory over Muhammad Hassan cleanly was not expected by me to be honest. I would have loved to see Hardy interferences. If I’m not wrong, Hardy is feuding with Hassan, right? So it’d added more to there rivalry, but I think that you are just making Benoit like a good superstar who got a clean victory, not an underdog.
~ Interesting segment. Rhino will have to accept, I guess. And just ta tell ya, he was called Rhyno here at WWE, not Rhino. Rhino is a TNA trademarked name, and Rhyno is a WWE trademarked name.
~ Helms beats Kash in a squash look-a-like match. What next for Helms? This division is also getting boring, I’d love to see some changes. Let’s see.
~ Hmm, another interesting segment there, from which a tag team match for the tag team titles shot is made for next week. FBI might win it. But let’s see next week.
~ Surprise, surprise. Let’s see what Orton and Heyman are talking ‘bout. Interesting concept to hype this one.
~ AMW, as expected get win over Mexicool’s and move onto build-up their feud with two teams, MNM and FBI. FBI attacking AMW and MNM just watching it maybe gave away that FBI would win next week. Oh, I’d love it.
~ Angle and Lesnar hype up the No Mercy Tournament. I still can’t predict who’s gonna win this one because you have good names in that tourney, so it’s hard to predict, and that’s good.
~ Renegade, man, I loved this segment. So finally you brought back the life to the Cruiserweight Division. This FBI is doing impressive so far, and next week, they have to win to keep their impressive streak going on.
~ Melina beats Ashley, in another squash, which is bad. Don’t have two squash matches in one show. Maybe you would have described it more.
~ JBL wants his spot back? I’m sure he will by beating Hardy.
~ The Undertaker advances to the No Mercy Tournament over Regal, as expected. But this show didn’t had good quality of matches. I’ll love to see changes to the next show. I’m sorry if you think that some of my comments are not needed, but I was sleepy when I wrote this review. One more thing, thanks for making me one of your fav. Bookers.

WWE RAW: 8/28/06
Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Length: There is no doubt some promos could be longer, but you fulfilled the two hours, and your match summaries were nicely detailed. 9.5/10
Spelling and Grammar: For the most part it was spot on. 9/10
Cena started off pretty strong, but he sort of lost touch with his character the longer this promo went. Cena and Kane feud will be short obviously, but it should make for a good match at Unforgiven.
No. 1 Contender's Match for Women's Title
Mickie James vs Lita w/Edge
Lita has the Edge factor at ringside, so I expect her to win. Not often when two heels face each other, but you need a heel challenger for face champion. Edge was sort of disgraced by Mickie, but Lita is able to use the ringside distraction for the win as she should. If Trish is the champion, this is going to be one heck of an awesome match. Edge gets some very nice revenge, cementing himself as a non passionate heel.
Cade and Jinkdrak have beaten everybody, but I think that the Dudleys will beat them.
Should be a good women’s match next week, though I expected it for Unforgiven.
12 Man Tag Match
Dudley Boyz, Headbangers & Goldust/Eugene
vs Cade & Jindrak, La Resistance & The Johnnies
I have never ever ever seen a twelve person tag team match. The most I have seen is ten, so I am surprised that you are doing this on Raw. Should be a win for the Dudleys, but once again, you surprise me with the heel champions picking up the win. I am not too fond of the first two matches ending in roll ups.
Funny little promo with Carlito and Monty Brown, hopefully leading to a match at Unforgiven.
Now this is the heel Christian that I enjoy, putting himself way over, adulating himself, not caring for Tomko, and making funny comments. I do not think Christian would ever say bloody, that is more of a pure English word. Christian gets better as this goes on, and Shelton shows some nice speech too. This is the match I am looking forward to the most at Unforgiven.
Rhino (c) vs Raven
Yikes, this is like the one hundredth match between these two, switch it up a little. Rhino barely retains his championship in an unique match with the fire extinguisher, but I am glad to see Hardcore Holly so we can have a change in matches.
Val Venis vs Charlie Haas
Looks like a filler match to me, but it is always good to see Charlie Haas wrestle and win. Another match I am looking forward to at Unforgiven, Haas vs. Styles for the championship.
Wow, I have never said this in my life, but HHH looked very good in comparison to the rest of the rejects in DX.
Main Event: Match 5
Singles Match; No DQ
Triple H (c) vs Vince McMahon
McMahon may have said he is banning Corporation and Degeneration X from ringside, but I am positive that the Corporation will be involved as Vinnie Mac is one heck of a liar and sneaky guy. Triple H completely owns Vince McMahon. McMahon always does well in NODQ matches though. Now I see why this was NODQ, so HBK can interfere in the whole deal. He sort of gets revenge for what happened at Summerslam and last week. Vince McMahon is a two time WWE Champion! What about that?
Entertainment: Hell yeah! While not all of your matches were flashy and as attractive as the main event, the show did a good job. 8.5/10
The Bottomline: You did well in utilizing most of the roster. Vince McMahon winning the WWE Title could easily rack in shock of the month. The HBK, HHH, and Vince McMahon is the most interesting part of the show. You have a few good matches for Unforgiven, and I am sure a lot more will be announced next week to complete the card. I found it odd that you concentrated your promos in the first half of the show and left the second half of the show to matches primarily.
