Re: WWE 2006 by Renegade™
~Good opening segment with Orton and Kennedy. I liked Orton’s comments about Kennedy being a rip off of him, but with blonde hair. Kind of true, really. Good brawl to end it, and Kennedy gives the crowd what they want to hear. Orton vs. Kennedy at Summerslam!
~The cruiserweight battle royal didn’t entice me. Don’t see why it was needed, incredibly unfair to the Champion as well. Helms retains, and seemed like filler.
~Good way to hype up SD’s SS main event. Should be a good tag match.
~Good match to build up AMW and MNM. MNM uses the numbers advantage to get the cheap win, and run like hell before Harris and Storm can take out MNM. Good build up, should be a good one at SS.
~Typical stuff from Hassan, builds it all up. Hassan being the US Champion makes me laugh. No way he’s losing to Hardy at SS.
~Goldberg squash Jordan, and Taker plays more mind games with Goldy after the match. Really not too excited for this feud, or for Goldberg being in the BTB.
~I liked the segment backstage with Goldy and Taker. Wonderful booking on your part. Taker shows up after more mind games, but you don’t let them brawl. That was genius, and something many bookers would not have done.
~Hardy squashes Vito, for the reasons you already stated. I don’t think Matt is going to at SS. If any Hardy beats Hassan, it will be Jeff.
~Nice little segment backstage. AMW are really looking weak going into the PPV now after losing a singles match, and now getting beat down by MNM. MNM should retain now, because AMW will look like weak champions going in.
~Batista vs. Finlay seemed like one massive brawl, during and after. The handicap match should be just like it come SS, but I was hoping it would be 3 v 3 not handicap. Because now, if the faces win, the heels look really weak, and if the heels win, wow, they won a handicap match, so what? It doesn’t benefit either team really.
~Lesnar’s going to fuck Jericho’s day up.
~Quick Orton segment to hype up the match at SS. Giddy!
~At least the faces can be united. Lesnar’s so going to fuck Jericho’s day up… if Y2J doesn’t do it first.
~Lesnar is a fucking beast. He dominated that main event, and gets the win. Afterward, Y2J gets his day fucked up with the F-5. However, Angle gets the Ankle Lock on, and Lesnar’s tapping. Very saddening. I don’t know why, but I am liking Lesnar in this BTB. Don’t usually like the guy, but meh, I like him. I’d like to see him win the Title at Summerslam, and he has a good chance. It’s either him or Angle. Benoit and Jericho have looked weak, so I don’t think they have much of a chance. I’m looking at Lesnar winning the Title, and it leading to an Angle/Lesnar feud going into Survivor Series and such, Angle chasing for his Title.
~Good recapped show, but it is very hard to get into SD with it always being recapped. RAW’s great, but SD is meh. I would really like to see you get a partner, so that way, this thread could prosper more.
War Games Match
Team Foley vs Team Bischoff
The Rock, Sting, Mick Foley, RVD & Scott Hall
vs
Christian, Edge, Shelton, Monty Brown & Chris Masters
The young guys getting the win is more important than the already over faces. Plus, Bischoff in office makes for better storylines than Foley. Also, hopefully The Rock, Sting, and Scott Hall slowly fade out of this BTB. That’s one thing I have noticed. You’ve over stacked your rosters a bit too much.
World Heavyweight Championship
Fatal-4-Way Match
Kurt Angle (c) vs Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho vs Brock Lesnar
It has to be Angle or Lesnar, but Lesnar being Champ makes for a better storyline heading into Survivor Series, so I’ll go with him.
WWE Championship
Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels
I really want to see HBK win the Title, but I think it is going to be Trips. Triple H will then proceed to feud with the McMahons, and whoever they decide to have as a new hired gun. Which is a shame because HBK has rocked in this BTB.
Undertaker vs Goldberg
Taker’s winning, but I could care less about this one.
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs John Cena
Cena needs the win, Austin doesn’t. A big win for Cena over a legend and icon like Austin puts him back in the Title hunt possibly. Austin, he just needs to leave.
WWE Tag Team Titles
America's Most Wanted vs MNM (c)
MNM wins, only because AMW looked weak on SD.
Intercontinental Championship
AJ Styles vs Charlie Haas (c)
I’d like to see Haas retain and continue to be a machine and beast, but Styles seems like the guy to go with. He’s the popular man on these forums.
Ken Kennedy vs Randy Orton
Kennedy looks to be going places, while Orton is just being meh.
World Tag Team Championships
New Age Outlaws vs Cade & Jindrak (c)
I’m not really looking forward to this match all that much, but I just want to see the Outlaws win the straps because I love them.
United States Championship
Matt Hardy vs Muhammad Hassan (c)
Matt is boring, and the real feud is going to be with Jeff. Sorry Matt, but you’re not important.
Hardcore Championship
Bar Room Brawl
Rhino vs Raven (c)
He’s been chasing and chasing, time to get a win. And he’s a fucking beast, so I want to see him win.
2 vs 3 Handicap Tag Match
Batista & Bobby Lashley
vs
Booker T, Finlay & William Regal
The heels SHOULD go over here, but I’m thinking you’ll let the faces get the win. Everyone loves underdogs.

Re: WWE 2006 by Renegade™
Sorry about not reviewing the last couple of shows, but i'll leave predictions here, with a few comments on why i have made the choice
War Games Match
Team Foley vs Team Bischoff
The Rock, Sting, Mick Foley, RVD & Scott Hall
vs
Christian, Edge, Shelton, Monty Brown & Chris Masters - Foley is the more entertaining of the two gm's at the moment in this thread, and i have a feeling that you would prefer to keep him around. I sense Christian making a turn in the match as well, or his team turning on him which will be the difference maker
World Heavyweight Championship
Fatal-4-Way Match
Kurt Angle (c) vs Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho vs Brock Lesnar - Just a gut feeling really, but i see Angle keeping the belt for just a bit longer, although this would be the time to drop it. Only problem is, no-one stands out as the man who would take the title
WWE Championship
Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels - HHH takes the win here, but probably with interference from DX, as well as the corporation, setting up a remacth at Unforgiven inside a cage or something like that
Undertaker vs Goldberg - If there is a winner, then it will be Taker getting his revenge, but i see a no contest being the obvious result here, furthering the feud
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs John Cena - Cena needs the win more so he can get back towards the title.
WWE Tag Team Titles
America's Most Wanted vs MNM (c) - AMW have been on a huge roll since they moved to Smackdown, and although logic dictates that MNM cheat to win, i see them dropping the belts to continue to get AMW over
Intercontinental Championship
AJ Styles vs Charlie Haas (c) - Haas needs to keep the title, to get his new persona over. PLus, AJ got the better of him on Raw
Ken Kennedy vs Randy Orton - Again, just a guess really, but Kennedy needs a win to get his push moving agaim, and Orton has had the most of the this feud so far
World Tag Team Championships
New Age Outlaws vs Cade & Jindrak (c) - DX get the belts, and continue to take most of the gold on Raw
United States Championship
Matt Hardy vs Muhammad Hassan (c) - Your dislike for Hassan tells me that Hardy is going to take the title off him now, even though it may be a bit soon for him to do so
Hardcore Championship
Bar Room Brawl
Rhino vs Raven (c) - I sense this is time for a title change, as Rhino is the more likely guy to keep the division together. Plus, this looks like the feud ender, and it has been all about Rhino trying to get the title
2 vs 3 Handicap Tag Match
Batista & Bobby Lashley
vs
Booker T, Finlay & William Regal - Faces need the win more so that Batista can get back towards the title where he should be. Heels have had enough of an advantage so far in this feud anyway

Re: WWE 2006 by Renegade™
WWE: SmackDown! -- 8/18/06 -- Comments
SmackDown! kicks off with a good looking promo as Orton bashes Kennedy. Ken comes down and accepts Orton’s challenge for SummerSlam, and that’s fine, nice way to do it. Cruiserweights Battle Royal can be awesome to watch. Out-come of that match was fine for me, as Helms retains the title in a cheap way. Heyman announces the main-event of the show, and with that stipulation – it looks great. MNM do a short little promo before the match. Nitro gets the win for MNM, as they have now got all the momentum going into SummerSlam. Hassan’s promo seemed alright here, as it hyped little bit about his match at SummerSlam. Goldberg gets a squash win over Orlando here, and then cuts a promo, basically asking Deadman to come in. Usual routine of Undertaker happens here, as he doesn’t comes. Well, he did came, but then disappeared in a blink of an eye. Magician. Another squash type match-up here, as Matt beats Vito. AMW try to say some words towards MNM, but the heels once again come in and attack the faces. It seems that you are hyping this feud more. I think that Hassan/Hardy should get more build-up than the tag team feud. Batista takes on Finlay, and the match ends-up in DQ. That’s nice because it made both team or/and opponent look strong. As expected, Jericho and Lesnar are having some miss-communications and it seems to me that Lesnar has planned something for that guy. Orton once again bashes Kennedy and the build-up to this one looks nice. A great main-event here as the heels pick-up the win and get the momentum going into SummerSlam. Aftermath, Brock F-5’s Jericho. Oh no, Angle sneaks attacks Brock and definitely gets the huge momentum going into SummerSlam. Solid show.

Re: WWE 2006 by Renegade™
Well so far no one has predicted all the right results, although a select few are pretty close...
My first update I have finished the first 4 matches, the Handicap Tag, Hardcore title, US title and RAW's Tag title matches have been done, I haven't had the time to work on it since Sunday, but hopefully by the end of the week I will be into the last six matches.
More predics are welcome, on Friday I will post the offical preview.

Re: WWE 2006 by Renegade™
Sorry about the double post, was expecting some more predictions to come in by now, but here is another update
The Orton/Kennedy match is becoming extremely annoying to write, thus I haven only done half of the match since the last update. But I'm confident after this match I can stroll through the rest.
More predics would be loved, as there doesn't seem to be as many as I thought...
Also, the preview will be up tomorrow.
