WWE Friday Night SmackDown! -- 11/08/06 -– Review
Interesting opening promo here as all three guys are up against Paul Heyman’s decision. Heyman, not being a nice man, throws down a match for Angle against Brock. Hmm, good. Hassan beats Jeff and now he has got all the momentum heading into the next pay-per-view. Just a filler promo here to be honest with MNM not wanting to face AMW. But the general-manager is not a nice guy, and instead stays with his idea and doesn’t change the match. First off, I am glad that it’s not King Booker, but that man sucks. Booker T, I have always found him entertaining. Though it is interesting to see him with Regal and Finlay. Let’s see how you work with this. But please don’t make King’s Court. Okay, Booker interference’s and allows Finlay and Regal to take a victory over Batista and Lashley. Fine, Batista accepts and accepts their challenge for SummerSlam. Alright, Goldberg signs also and the match is officially on, I guess. A damn good impact by Orton here. Kennedy will likely accept RKO’s challenge though. Let’s see if Matt can keep his words at SummerSlam. A nice tag team match-up here with the ANM taking the victory. I expected MNM to come here. But anyways, next, I see Angle doing a nice promo, and that’s fine because it hypes the main-event. An interesting main-event match-up here with the World Heavyweight Champion getting the victory. And then the stare down between Jericho and Benoit was fine. Maybe Angle will retain at SummerSlam?

Deadman_014's Smackdown Review

Angle promo: I think we might see Jericho/Benoit swap over for someone not sure after this promo with Heyman's comments may just be a way to say shut up for him there but maybe in the future after SummerSlam if they lose. Angle vs Lesnar looks good Heyman gave Angle Lesnar though its not much of a punishment since Angle wants the match non the less good idea here.

Jeff Hardy vs Hassan: nothing special here but don't expect anything special its a recap hehe, Hassan beats Jeff and Matt comes out wanting to stop an aftermath assault ok segment here/match here.

MNM/Heyman segment: Heyman's really wanting to piss everyone off tonight huh? I think this was an interesting segment good match for SummerSlam that should be good pretty decent segment Heyman's quickly becoming much more hated on Smackdown.

Booker T interview: This was good here the challenge for SummerSlam is good I expect it to be accepted of course I don't like that your doing the same thing here that you did with Raw. Your trying to make to many matchs for SummerSlam in your last Raw and this hopefully they accept next week or something good interview though "roid poppin' sucka's" lmao.

Batista & Lashley vs Regal & Finlay: Figures, Booker causes Lashley & Batista to get screwed and that leads to Batista accepting the challenge. I don't like all these matchs being made in one show or 2 it should be spread out cause I expect more matchs to be made this show good match and promo just had to say that bout the matchs bein made.

Goldberg/Heyman segment: Goldberg was good here I liked this segment very much best segment in the show so far. Very much like Goldberg would probably do but I still don't like 6 matchs for SummerSlam being made in 2 shows, anyways I love this match idea it should be a great match for SummerSlam great card is forming for SummerSlam it seems.

Matt Hardy promo: Nothing really to say short and sweet to the point "he will not die" can't even rate this one, I think Hassan is gonna beat Hardy at SummerSlam.

FBI vs AMW: Just a little squash for AMW here, surprised we didn't see their opponents for SummerSlam come out and attack them. I hate Vito for the most part so its good to see him get jobbed out good match here nothing seems bad in this recap or screwed up you could of found em better opponents though to build em up better.

Angle Interview: Angle seems in character a bit here I hate reviewing recaps for the most part though cause I cannot give much advice or say anything bad for the most part. Angle vs Lesnar is built up here for tonight this is PPV quality so this should be a decent matchup good match its looking to be.

Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle: Good match here and a good finish to the match, Lesnar gets counted out don't settle any bad blood or anything between them if they're is a lot. Then Jericho comes out and knocks Angle out and stands tall at the end of the show with Benoit there to buildup their feud/match, Good show mate I won't give u the realism stuff etc since its recapped really good show though.

I owe you a review from a while back, so I'll give you a full review when you get a full show up, but for now, I'll leave comments for the Smackdown Recap.

Smackdown Comments

I'm absolutely confuzzled about what's going on in this BTB, since I haven't reviewed in this BTB in a long while, but I'll try to get a grasp of what's going on. Angle's WHC, and I'm guessing Heyman is the GM, as he favours Lesnar. Jericho, and Beniot make their way out. By the looks of it, the main event scene is one helluva main event scene. Angle versus Lesnar tonight. I guess Matt Hardy, and Hassan are feuding, but Hassan faces Jeff to make it personal, and beats him. Tries to attack, but to no prevail. MNM facing AMW at SS. Sounds familiar. Booker T challenges Batista, and Lashley to a 3 on 2 match. Not bad of an idea. Regal & Finlay then beat Batista & Lashley cause of Booker T's distraction. Good way to get this feud rolling. I guess Goldberg and Taker are feuding, which is good. It's a feud I kind of wanted to see. Orton, and Kennedy feuding from the looks of it. Just from the recap, I'm loving this. The feuds sound great, all of which I would love to see. Filler tag match, or so it seems. Count-out victory for Angle. Angle gives Lesnar an Angle Slam, Jericho comes and hits Angle with the title, and Beniot stares Jericho down from the stage. Great happenings in the ME. Great stuff here. I'll drop a full review on Raw when it's posted.

Smackdown Recap Review- ORRY420

Great opener to the show, Angle sounded like he was in character, and it's good to see Y2J and Benoit agree with the Champ, as all 3 men want Lesnar out ot the Championship Match at Summerslam. Angle/Lesnar later on tonight should be amazing, and it will be interesting to see if eithrr Benoit or Jericho get involved?

Good booking here man, it's seems normal that Jeff would want a chance at Hassan, merely weeks before Matt takes on the Arabian at Summerslam. Hassan had to win this one to gain credibility, but I see Matt taking his belt at the PPV. Good aftermath is weel, with Hardy coming to the aid of his brother.

Heyman books MNM/AMW at No Mercy and the Champs aren't to pleased with the announcemnt (it seems everyone on the roster despised Heyman, bar Lesnar of course). Should be a great contest, and I can see AMW taking the straps.

Booker's challenge was great, and the match at Summerslam should be off he charts. I presume it will be a Handicap Match, and Batista and Lashley will not get to choose a partner?

In a solid tag match, Regal and Finlay topple the "roid taking freaks' thanks to the help of Booker. The realism was taken away a bit, with Batista just been taken out with a shillelagh shot, and Lashley with Brass Knuckles, yet they are still able to accept the challang. Nether the less, Summerslam is shaping up to be memorable.

Goldberg seems extremely tentative heading into his match with Taker, and you showed it masterfully in this segment, having the former World Heavyweight Champion jump at the appearance of Heyman, then turn furious when he sees Taker's signature already on the contract. Well done mate.

Another match made for Summerslam in this show! Orton screws Kennedy tonight, then lays down the challenge for Summerslam! Should be an awesome confrontation, and I can see Kennedy defeating the Legend Killer!

Short little promo from Hardy, to further build his feud with Hassan. Like I said, I see Hardy taking the strap off Hassan at Summerslam, in fact I think it's a certainty.

AMW basically squash the FBI, and continue to gain momentum heading into the WWE Tag Team Championship shot. Like I said earlier I see the Cowboys taking the belts, as they have dominated most of this feud.

Angle seems confident heading into the main event, and I predict he will prevail here tonight!

Great match, worthy of the main event spot. Lesnar is counted out, and Angle picks up an impressive victory. Jericho flattens the Champ to end the show, and with Benoit looking on, this feud continues to be built well.

Overall this was another great recapped edition of Smackdown, nice work. 9/10

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview

Tonight RAW emulates from Layafette, Louisiana, just six days before the blockbuster summer PPV, Summerslam. The road to the Slam continues tonight

In a huge main event, WWE Champion Triple H will team with his DX team mates X-Pac, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn to take on Shawn Michaels, A-Train, Cade & Jindrak in what is sure to be an explosive 8 man tag. With HHH/HBK and NAO/Cade & Jindrak announced for Summerslam, who will gain some momentum ahead of the weekend?

Jonathan Coachman will be hosting the hotly anticipated verbal confrontation between Stone Cold Steve Austin & John Cena. With both men under restraining orders, meaning they cannot touch each other otherwise they are suspended without pay for 6 months, what will the two say and do?

After his huge win over Shawn Michaels last week, Maven will be in action against Charlie Haas tonight. Will Maven's new resurgence continue with another victory? Speaking of Haas, he will want a much needed lift ahead of his matchup with AJ Styles at Summerslam, where he will defend his IC title. Will AJ Styles make himself known again this week?

Also, the match to end their recent bickering takes place as Carlito takes on Test in singles action, with both men looking to end their feud and bury the short lived hatchet

All this and more on RAW, this Monday at 9/8pm on USA Network
