Re: WWE 2006 by randyorton24 and Renegade™

Bad Blood Review

Sunday Night Heat- Nice heat show. Mickie losing the belt was surprising since Kim won the belt. I thought it would be Trish.

World Tag Team Championship- Okay, nice six man tag matchup but I felt as though Cade and Jindrak putted on a below average performance. Test coming in wasn't necessary since this Tag Team needs to establish themselves, not as "some people" in the Corporation. 6/10.

MITB Match- Great match but anticlimatic ending. They really combined their usual high flying styles with some old school wrestling but the finish didn't really make me jump as RVd hits the Five Star Splash. 7/10.

KOTM for the IC title- I hate that when I got to see BTBs, a WWE thread, whether they bought a company or not, have to use their ideas. This should have been TLC and the KOTM match shouldn't be used for midcard matches. It's a big match and should be used for big matches. However, this was a good match but I felt Carlito and other WWE superstars didn't fit in this match. Surprised that Haas got the win, though. 8/10.

Austin vs Edge- This match was average to me. The match started slow, then picked up with Edge's heel tatics and Austin's brawling. Lita being used was a nice way to get Edge the cheap win, but maybe Edge shouldn't always rely on Lita. It makes him look weak. 8/10.

Rock vs Christian- Great matchup in my opinion and it really did deliver. The only problem I had was the Rock talking during the match. I hate that kind of stuff unless it was needed. It wasn't in this case and the Rock tried to hard on it anyway. 9/10.

WWE Championship- Okay, where do I begin? Alright, Vince's involvement was needed here as this match could have bored me but Vince kept me interested. HHH giving DX chops was good for old times, but tried to hard on them. I thought Cena was gonna win but Austin stops it. A big brawl ensues and it was okay but I felt it took away from the match as it would seem as though people wanted to see the brawl than the match. Austin using Vince's head was classic and nice but then....*sigh*......you just had to pull out a DX reunion. All right, I have three problems with this. I hope you are using DX untill the fued is over. HHH doesn't need X-Suk and Outlawed. Second, I felt this could have been used for tommorow night on RAW to draw in ratings and it comes off from the PPV. The third problem is that Triple H is the new champion but people will only remember DX being formed and it overshadow's HHH's long awaited title win. That's connected to my second reason. All in all average. 7/10.

Overall Score: 45/60 = 71%(C-). This show had some good things(Edge/Austin, Rock/Christian), bad things(TT Title Match, WWE stars in KOTM), and some that I can't sort (DX reunion). So, average PPV. It had some that delivered but some couldn't deliver.

^^^*Slaps forehead* I knew I forgot something.

Sting/Kane - A fun litle hardcore matchup. I like how you kept it simple and didn't add any tacks or ECW stuff. You went with the true WWE Hardcore style and that added to the realism. 7/10.

Re: WWE 2006 by randyorton24 and Renegade™

Good way to start off the PPV with the Tag Team Championship to pump up the crowd for the rest of the night. Great ending to the match with Gunn going for the Fameasser but Test coming out and taking his head off with a big boot giving the win to Jindrak and Lance Cade. Good to see them become the Champions as you need to push new Tag Teams and a win over a team like NAO will do them good. **3/4

Great announcement with the War games at Summerslam which should be a great match. It is obvious that Vince will try and screw HHH out the match.

Wasn’t expecting too much from this match but it turned out to be a great contest. This match had some good spots and a great ending with Sting crossbodying Kane off the stage. Crashing through the tables and the electrical equipment which is a sick spot. Sting gets the win and after seeing your latest news Kane will take a break till October, das not cool. ***3/4

Good promo here by Christian hyping up his match later tonight, I expect him to lose however as I don’t see Rock losing three times to him.

Another good match here, which should be expected looking at the individuals in it. Some great show of athleticism in the early stages of the match and a great spot later on in the match wit the Sunset Powerbomb. RVD kicks out of the exploder and moves out the way from his own frog splash. RVD comes back and gets the win due to a five star frog splash, good match here and I see RVD challenging for the title soon. ***3/4

Great match here, with all 6 men putting on a good performance and nice to see you using Haas well unlike the WWE retaining the title, I was expecting a new champion but that wasn’t the case. Haas gets the victory after pushing Rhyno and Styles off the ladder and then putting the title on the hook. ****

Decent Rock promo here using some of his normal lines and then using the Queer Eye line which has been used plenty of times in BTB.

A pretty good match here and a huge victory for Edge, gaining a victory over a legend like Stone Cold, thanks to Lita who grabbed Steve’s leg when he went for the Stunner. I see Edge gaining a lot of momentum from this, and wouldn’t be surprised to see him with the title by the end of the year ***1/4

A good Cena rap here, I liked him way better in 2003/4 when he used to rap insulting people and you use it well on this thread.

A very good match here and Rock finally beats Christian, both men should get a good push from this with Christian beating someone like Rock twice and Rock winning the feud ender. Great moment of comedy in the middle of the match, with Christian’s crotch going into the ring post and then Rock getting a mic and Christian saying help me. Will be interesting to see who both men feud with coming out of this. ***3/4

It is time for the main event. Vince acts in Cena’s favour the whole match not noticing anything bad Cena does. And he refuses to count when HHH hits the pedigree. Vince distracts HHH leading to the F-U, but Austin puts his foot on the rope now some backup for HHH. Haha nice spot here with Cena hitting Vince with the belt and not everything is going for them now. Cena looks like he has the win after a second F-U but Austin breaks up the count leading to the pedigree for a HHH win. This was a very well booked entertaining match, and I expect to see a Cena/Austin feud coming out this and HHH possibly feud with Edge? Great ending to the show with a DX reunion, ****1/4

This was a great PPV by you, I believe it is your first PPV for a very long time so good to see you get one up. Overall rating 85/100

Re: WWE 2006 by randyorton24 and Renegade™

Ok, first time I’ve read anything in this thread but I skimmed through previous pages to catch myself up.

*Cade/Jindrak over Outlaws: Very good tag match to kick off the show. I really like the corporation faction as it seems to be a nice mix of new guys with established talent. I actually like Cade/Jindrak with the belts as they are young and fresh while it’s “been there, done that” with the Outlaws. Again, good match and a good way to kick off the show.

*Vince Promo: Loving the Summerslam match.

*Sting over Kane: Now that was a hardcore match that went everywhere. Very nice job with that one. Maybe one too many “Holy Shit” chants but I’ll let it slide just because the match was awesome. No complaints about anything.

*Christian Promo: Very good hype with the match with the Rock and in character.

*RVD over Shelton: Great match here. A lot action and the cockiness of Shelton showed, which I love. I also liked RVD winning as it keeps importance on the actual MITB match. Again, no major gripes from me.

Corporation Promo: Good job with this one. Jindrak’s comment was great.

KOTM: KOTM for the IC title? Seems odd but cool in the same way. Good match here with more hardcore action. Seems like everyone had their moment with Haas having the biggest moment of them all. Would have liked to see Styles win, but that’s just because I’m a mark for him.

Rock Promo: Another good promo with more good hype.

Edge over Austin: Damn, another good match. Glad to see Edge go over as well as Austin needs no rub. Again, just another solid match.

Cena Promo: Cena + Freestyle = GREATNESS!!!

Rock over Christian: Loved the mid match promo by The Rock. The match itself was another good one. Would have liked to see Christian get the rub but that’s a minor complaint considering he’s beat The Rock twice.

HHH over Cena: Not a fan of the ending just because it was sort of predictable but other than that, good match. I liked the DX reunion at the end, nice touch with that. I can see an Austin/Cena feud coming, which I’m all for.

Overall, a very good PPV with a lot of high profile matches on a single brand PPV. You’ve hooked me in with this, great job.

Re: WWE 2006 by randyorton24 and Renegade™

Decided to go ahead and review your PPV since it is one of the shorter ones out there right now. Anyways here it is.

Renegade’s Bad Blood Review

Good choice for opener with the tag titles, really I don’t think you had any other choice to end up opening the PPV with. Hopefully the NAO take this match and if not, Cade and Jindrak could be a decent team for the belts. Never seen Gunn do a Suicide Dive. Classic New Age Outlaws with the Shake, Rattle, and Roll and Knee Drop. Looks like Road Dogg is starting to get back into the match, I’m hoping that the New Age Outlaws do indeed take the titles tonight. Ouch pulling the legs apart has to hurt, makes me cringe thinking about it! Basic heel tactics with Cade and Jindrak using Road Dogg in the match right now. Good to see Billy interfere and save the match for his team. Wow, nice to see the Fameasser countered into the Super Kick. Damn you Test, damn you! Oh well, good ending and it shows that the Corporation are going to do anything and everything to prevent the good guys from winning tonight. Well opening match lasts about 8 minutes, not bad though maybe another minute or two would have been better but still good.

Well War Games is announced. Foley and Flair, where have I heard that before? Haha just kidding but um, I think you announced this way too early. Please don’t announce your other matches this early and wait at least 5 weeks in advance before announcing. Otherwise good little segment and Mr. McMahon’s comment at the end was great.

Time for a little bit of Hardcore though I have noticed Sting is back, meh he’s ok. Wow I think he got busted open way too early. Ouch Sting takes a hard shot into the barricade and this one looks like it’s going to be an allout war. Ouch Kane is taking the abuse so far into the match and I have a feeling he will take the win. I don’t think a drop-toe hold into steel steps is a Holy shit moment but that may just be me! Now maybe the chokeslam through the table is, but Sting kicks out! Maybe you should have had Kane wait a while to cover to keep the realism. Sting wouldn’t be able to recover that quickly though, that’s for sure. Kane is really giving some shots out to Sting tonight too, wonder who will take this one? Suplex onto the trash can ain’t too bad though maybe the trash can has been overused in the match. Moment similar to Rhino goring Abyss through the wall but Kane did this himself, nice! Kane got burned, again! Kane kicked out of the Scorpion Deathlock quickly. Kane is doing everything but can’t get Sting to stay down, stay down Sting! Stay down! Damn Kane has taken some major abuse, a glass panel. Nice ending, similar to what Matt Hardy and Edge did last year and Sting gets the win.

Christian’s promo was great, you always capture him great and I love it as he is a favorite of mine and that was good. Hopefully he takes the win over The Rock tonight because he could use a win more than The Rock could.

A match I’m ready for, RVD and Benjamin equals a good match! RVD is looking to get a quick start into the match. Nice to see Benjamin counter the Monkey Flip, he thinks smart! RVD is getting back into the match now, either man that takes this match won’t matter as they are both favorites of mine. RVD is showing his skills tonight, he’s really letting it go. Nice little move with the Super Sunset Flip and this has been great, though the move was done and botched at Backlash. Rolling Thunder countered, Shelton is back into it. Nice to see RVD use Benjamin’s Dragon Whip, a little bit of move stealing there. Damn that had to hurt for RVD to lose most of his momentum right there all because of the pole. Exploder better known as T-Bone and RVD kicks out, RVD is doing everything right now for that MITB contract. Haha, Benjamin doing the Five Star Frog Splash! I could see him mocking RVD doing it right now. Benjamin pays for it with Rolling Thunder and a Springboard Moonsault, very competitive match so far. Super Belly to Belly Suplex was nice and it puts Benjamin back into the match now. And RVD nails the Five Star, still Mr. Money in the Bank! Good match there and only thing that let it down was lasted only nine minutes, you could have made it go longer and had it go for 15 Minutes and it would have been great, only thing taking off for though.

The comments come from somewhere else, can’t remember where though? Haha, not a big thing though as Wolfy wouldn’t care about using Cade like that, I guess! Intresting promo and a different side from McMahon tonight? Doubt it!

King of the Mountain time, intresting to see this for the Intercontinental title though but since more of the athletic competitors are in it, that’s ok. Why are Styles and Brown in the crowd, doesn’t make much sense there. Haas gets a quick start with the dropkick and Senton. Nice to see some action but might be a bit too early on. Trash can is used again, hopefully we don’t see it anymore. Well nevermind as it used right after I said that again. Damn, the trash can needs to be retired, used too often tonight. Masters is gone for now and a good choice in that. Now the chair is fine as it hasn’t be overused tonight and nice move with the dropkick. Superplex from Carlito and Styles in the Penalty Box, good job Carlito! Damn you Masters, now Styles and Carlito in the box together. Spotfest as you can tell early on and that is expected with this match. Now Masters shouldn’t be up yet, you are going to lose realism for that. Spiral Tap was nice and Styles is doing great so far in the match with some nice spots. Now Styles wouldn’t be up that quick and he wouldn’t be doing a move again like that, this is going too far. Back Cracka, come on Carlito! Nice move but I’ve seen too many spots in this match right now even though it was great. A Super Styles Clash sounds awesome but too many spots have happened to care. Haas retains. Even though I said there were too many spots, I enjoyed the match though realism was lost with people like Masters, Brown and Styles getting up quick and then doing insane move after insane move right after they did one.

Nice interview, the Christian and Rock feud has bound to be great and shamed that I didn’t keep up with reading this. Owell, a good match tonight should go down between these two and I’m looking forward to it.

Another Corporation based match here and this should be intresting, hopefully Edge is the one taking the win though Austin probably will. Looks like Austin is getting off to a quick start tonight in this matchup. Haha, is this match ever going to start? Beer break! Meh, is this the third match that we have seen blood? Too much blood! Edge seems to be focusing on the leg, come on Edge you need this win tonight. What is a Buffalo Hold? Never even heard of it before so maybe you can tell me what it is? Edge-O-Matic early on but kickout, I was expecting Austin to kickout and keep this match going of course. Nice little throwback there with the Spinning Heel Kick, it’s always great to see old moves still used. Nice little cheap heat from Edge stealing Austin’s moves, those always seem to work to great advantages. Time for the Spear? If so this would end up being a quick match and I have enjoyed it so far. Damn Stone Cold Stunner but he can’t make the cover, the win surely has to go to Edge now after that. Now Edge saw Austin kick out of the Spear! Come on Edge, make him tap right now for the win! Damn, too many kickouts from finishers, that takes a little of the realism of this matchup for sure.Classic chair shot to the face off the ropes, always works wonders and Austin needs to capitalize. Spear! Edge gets the win and another win for the Corporation which must mean things will go wrong tonight in the main event.

Good little rap from Cena, always good to see Cena rapping as it freshens up his gimmick more than what it is today. Also props for him being a heel as that helps too, but we’ll end up seeing tonight if Cena remains the champ or not.

Time for the battle of the ego’s. Probably your strongest feud right now since both of these men are great on the mic. Looks like The Rock is getting off to a fast start right now. Haha Christian is out of the ring now, worried about the match huh? Little bit of cheating there with the poke to the eye and Christian wants this match. Little bit of comedy there with the Rock faking a backhand to the ref, nice incorporation there. Another move I’ve never heard of, a Gun Packet? Please explain to me what that is too! Christian got owned by Lillian Garcia, now the Rock has the mic, should be intresting to see what he has to say. Nice little bit of comedy there but now it’s time to get back into the match. Christian is taunting the Rock with the Punch Combo, that would be gold right there to be seeing. Unprettier out of nowhere, Christian might get the win. Come on Christian! No, three covers in a row but not the win.Typical comeback for the face, Rocky might win it. Haha the People’s Elbow, more like the Peep’s Elbow! Nice, Rock nails the Spinebuster followed by the original version of the People’s Elbow! Rock Bottom! It’s over and it was a good match! Should have gone on longer though, only 11 Minutes and 25 Seconds.

It’s time, Lumberjack Match for WWE Championship! I’m guessing Triple H will take the title tonight with the Corporation already winning everything else tonight. Haha nice little D-Xesque crotch chop. This match won’t be the prettiest but hopefully the lumberjacks will soon start coming in to play. Normal heel refereeing from McMahon with the slow count and Cena gets a DDT, something rare from the champ. And I was right, the lumberjacks are coming in to play now with Cena taking advantage of them. Wow a Super 5 Knuckle Shuffle, never seen that before but sounds pretty cool. Cena pulls out a dropkick, always nice to see him pull out some of his older moves he hasn’t used in a while. Crotch chops to McMahon, nice! Cena is getting more help now from the heels and Triple H is taking a beating. Triple H is getting back, this has to be ruining the plans for McMahon right now. These crotch chops are making me wonder about something! Blood again, too many times tonight to be honest. Pedigree but McMahon doesn’t want to cover, I have a feeling McMahon will be layed out soon. Haha, F-U but Triple H gets help from Austin! Damn McMahon gets knocked out by Triple H’s foot, deadly foot! No luck for McMahon tonight, hit with the belt across the face. Test ruins it but Hall interferes. Meh, why is Hall even with the WWE right now in your thread? Joking, I know you like him! F-U to no avail. Triple H gains the win with help from Austin slapping McMahon’s hand and D-X is back. Attitude Era feeling is coming back now and good luck with what you have.

Foley and Bischoff mate, Ric Flair is retired and gone in my thread.

As for the moves you questioned, a Gun Packet is a dropkick to the opponent when they are down in the bottom of a corner, which connects to the face area.

And the Buffalo hold is a modified sleeper hold with a knee to the back, kinda like a wider version of a Surfboard stretch.
