Default Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Well let me just say that this edition of Smackdown will be very shorten due to the fact that my time is really short of late.

June 9th Smackdown

-Cole and Tazz welcome us to Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.
-Rey Mysterio comes out and says that he turned on Eddie at JD because he was sick and tired of being looked as a person who was somewhat a follower. He then goes on and says that he will become WWE Champion, not US, Cruiserweight, or Tag, no he will become the WWE Champion. He then speaks about how he wants a shot at Cena's title and he will not go anywhere until Cena comes out.
-Long comes out and he has a briefcase in his hand. He says Mysterio has a point, and enters him into a tournament. Before he goes back to the tournament, he says that in two weeks time there will be a battle royal. And the last two participants will face each other at the GAB in July. He also says that the person who eliminates the other, will get the choice of the match that the two finalists will fight in at GAB. He then says that the battle royal serves purpose of a crowning a new WWE European Champion! Long then speaks and says that eight men (Mysterio, JBL, Kane, Shane, Christian, Booker, Carlito, and finally Y2J) will all fight in seperate matches aganist each other. And that they will pick via a box with eight numbers in there. #1 will face #2, #3 will face #4 and so on. And the winner of the Fever Pitch tournament will face John Cena for the WWE Championship at the Great American Bash, on Sunday, July 17th. Long leaves and Mysterio has a grin on his face as we go to commercial.

Coming back from commercial it's time for our first match.
*Tony Chimel does the introductions*

Match 1:
Chris Cage v. Charlie Hass

Back and forth match with Hass getting somewhat advantage using his amaetur skills but Cage comes back with kicks and various forms of planchas on Hass. Hass tries to slow the pace of the match by nailing three backbreakers in a row on Cage, yet Cage refuses to quit. Hass then tries to nail the Hass of Pain, but Cage counters it with a rake to the eye followed by the Cage of Doom. 1-2-and Hass kicks out. Finish of the match comes when Hass tries to nail Cage with a powerbomb, Jindrak comes out and trips up Hass which leads to Cage nailing the Cage of Doom on Hass and picking up the 1-2-3! After the match Hass anf Jindrak argue some more, and Jindrak nails Hass with a solid left hand hook and leaves Hass knocked out cold in the middle of the ring, as we cut to the back and we see Christian trying to talk to some of the ladies but they diss him. Cena comes into the picture and the two go at it. Christian then challenges Cena to a freestyle for next week. Cena accepts. The two stare down. Cole reminds us that Christian's match is up next!

*commercials*

We come back to Smackdown and see an outside shot of the Arena as Cole and Tazz run down what has already happen in the night, followed by Chimel introducing the next match.

Match 2:
Christian v. .... Chris Jericho

This match right here could be match of the night right here. Jericho starts the match off with shots to the chest of Capt. Chrisama. Christian though reserves with a rake to the eye of Jericho and a snap suplex on Y2J. Christian irish whips Jericho but Jerichho counters the backdrop from Christian with a kick to the face. Jericho then begins to punch the face of Christian before irishing whipping him to the ropes, missing and then catching him with a back elbow. Jericho then picks Christian and connects with a sidewalk slam. 1st cover of the match and Jericho only gets a two count. Jericho picks Christian up and nails an uppercut. Jericho irish whips Christian to the ropes aganist but Christian catches Jericho with a backbreaker. Christian now begins to punch the face of Jericho. Christian picks Jericho up and nails a scoop slam. Christian then nails Jericho with an inverted facelock into a backbreaker. Christian then tries to put Jericho into a boston crab, but Jericho reserves it and Christian goes back to the mat. Christian though reserves a whip to the corner, but Jericho goes up on top and goes for an elbow from off the top rope but Christian catches him and plants a slam on Jericho right in midair. 1-2-and Jericho gets the shoulder up. Christian then goes for and connects a plancha on Jericho. Christian goes for the cover and gets only a two count. Jericho though comes back with an enzurgi kick knocking down Christian. Jericho then picks Christian up and nails a Both Standing Super Press Slam on Christian. Jericho waits for Christian to get up and nails a bulldog on Christian. Jericho goes for the lionsault but Christian gets the feet up, but Jericho lands on his feet. Christian goes for a kick, but Jericho ducks and tries to lock in the Walls of Jericho. Christian though quickly is able to make it to the ropes. Jericho though nails a gulliotine from off the ropes. Christian rolls out the ring. Jericho follows and Jericho and Christian fights some more. Christian though nails a nice forearm on Chris, but Chris nails a DDT on Christian. Jericho then nails a dropkick on Christian as Christian tries to get back in the ring. Both men now continue to fight once they're back in the ring, but Christian nails Jericho with a gutwrench suplex. Christian then suprisingly nails Jericho with a german suplex. Christian then sends Jericho to the top of the ropes, but Jericho counters it with a top rope facebusting DDT. Jericho then nails Christian with the lionsault and gets the 1-2-3! Jericho advances to the next round. We cut to the back where we see the Bashams talking with each other. *Cuts to commercials*

We come back to the show and we see the Raw Rebound. We then see that next week Smackdown will be in Kansas City, MO in the Kemper Arena. Then we give it to Chimel who introduces us to the next match.

Match 3: Kane v. Carlito

Kane basically dominates the match from the get go. Kane nails Carlito with some uppercuts followed by a sidewalk slam. Kane then nails Carlito with the big boot. Kane picks up Carlito, but Carlito nails Kane with some chopblocks. Carlito tries to get some offense going but Kane continues to batter him. Kane goes on top, but Carlito catches him with a drop toehold. Carlito nails "The Cool Effect", but Kane kicks out of it at the count of 1. Carlito tries to irish whip Kane but Kane nails Carlito with a hard clothesline. Kane then nails the chokeslam on Carlito. 1-2-but somehow Carlito gets the foot on the rope. Carlito then ducks as Kane inadvertly nails the ref. Kane then nails the chokeslam on Carlito for the second time in the match. But wait there's no ref. Kane gets up and out of nowhere, JBL nails Kane with the Clothesline from Hell and Kane is out. JBL pulls Carlito on top of Kane and gets the ref to come to, as the ref comes over to make the cover. 1-2-3! And Carlito wins thanks to JBL, as Carlito and JBL leave the ring as Kane begins to get up and we cut to commercial.

Cole and Tazz welcomes us back to Smackdown and send it back to Chimel

*Chimel does the introductions*

Match 4:
Rey Mysterio v. Booker T

Back and forth with this match however it was Mysterio's quickness that helped him in this match. Booker T nailed quite some submission moves on Mysterio trying to keep him grounded in this match. Booker was able to counter Mysterio's droppin' the dime into a powerbomb. Booker though was only to get a two count. Booker tries to nail Mysterio with a vertical suplex, but Mysterio nails an armbar takedown on the Book Man. Mysterio then goes on top and nails a spinning headscissors on Booker T. 2 count. Mysterio comes off the ropes, and Booker nails him with a spinebuster. Booker goes on top and nails the Houston shuffle on Mysterio. Booker gets a two count. Booker sends Mysterio to the ropes and goes for the high kick but Mysterio ducks and nails a dropkick to the face. Mysterio goes on top and Booker nails a flapjack right on Mysterio. Booker gets Mysterio up, but Mysterio nails some punches and Mysterio goes to the ropes yet Booker T nails him with the BookEnd. 1-2-and Mysterio kicks out. Booker sends Mysterio to the ropes, but Mysterio reserves and Booker get hunged up on the ropes. 6-1-9 connects. Mysterio then nails the West Coast Pop on Booker and grabs the tights to get the 1-2-3! Mysterio steals one and is moving on. Tazz says that next it will be JBL v. Shane McMahon. We'll be right back.

*commercials*

We come back and Chimel does the intros for the main event.

Main Event:
JBL v. Shane

Match starts with Shane nailing some dropkicks and some hip tosses on JBL. Shane tries to get in some offense moves by nailing a nice flying elbow right to the face of JBL. However JBL gets the match going by nailing some hard blows to the back of the face of Shane. JBL then picks up Shane and nails a hard clothesline on Shane. Shane now at JBL's despair is hit with a hard elbow followed by some shoulder thrusts by the former champ. JBL then catches Shane with a fallaway slam. JBL now locks in a sleeper on Shane. However Shane soon breaks the hold. JBL then catches Shane with another fallaway slam. JBL then begins to work on the leg (left) of Shane. JBL then locks in a chinlock on Shane, then begins to nail some clubbing blows to Shane as we cut to our final commercial break.

Back from the break we see Shane getting in some moves. Shane nails a DDT out of nowhere on JBL. Shane then begins to nail the three punch attack on JBL. Shane now starting to feel it, nails JBL with a jumping neck snap. Shane then tries to go on top and flies but JBL nails him with a hard slam. JBL goes for the clothesline from hell but misses and hits the ref. JBL is then chokeslammed by Kane. Shane goes on top and nails the flying elbow on JBL. 1-2-3! Shane pulls an upset.

Cena comes out and smiles then looks at both Shane and Kane as show ends.

Sorry about it being rushed, but these next few weeks will be pretty hetic for me. Enjoy. 1!
