Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Smackdown for March 17th:
Atlantic City, New Jersey
Boardwalk Hall

*No opening video is shown instead we head right to the ring with the competitors filling the ring as we get ready for the Battle Royal to decide who will be the final competitor in the Money in the Bank II Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXII*

Match 1: 10 Man Battle Royal Match-Winner goes to MITB II
Shane McMahon v. Jeff Hardy v. Mark Henry v. Kane v. Big Show v. Christopher Daniels v. Rey Mysterio v. Super Crazy v. Rene Dupree v. CM Punk

The bell starts and everyone goes after the Big Show trying to eliminate the 500 pound, 7 foot monster. However Show quickly takes them down until he comes to the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry. Henry takes some shots at Show, and Show is reeling. After some splashes, that almost sends the Big man to the canvas, Henry clears the path, and tries to clothesline Show over the top. Show however counters it, and nails a headbutt, and some chops across the chest of Henry. Henry then tries to splash Show, but Show counters it again and this time sends Henry over the top and Henry is eliminated first!

*Elimination 1-Mark Henry by The Big Show-2:09*

The match then continues as now we see CM Punk and Jeff Hardy going at it. Hardy sends Punk to the ropes, but Punk moves out of the way. Punk tries to go for the Welcome to Chicago, but Jeff stops it. Jeff nails a nice dropkick that sends Punk to the mat. Jeff goes up top, and goes for the swanton, but Super Crazy comes from the other side, and nails a modified hurrcurana from off the top rope to Hardy. Crazy gets up and is floored and eliminated by Punk, with a huge kick to the face.

*Elimination 2-Super Crazy by CM Punk-3:05*

We then see Show and Kane taking no prisoners. The two eventually collide into one another. Both men look at the crowd, as the rest of the competitors back off to the corner, to let these two men go at it. Kane nails an uppercut, and Show fires back with a right hand. Show goes for an Irish whip, but it’s reversed. Kane comes back and goes for a clothesline, but misses. Kane comes off of the ropes and is floored with a spear from Show. The crowd is going wild as we have past the 4 minute mark. Show then picks up Dupree, but Dupree quickly grabs onto the ropes, and Show lets him go, but Shane comes from off of the top and nails a leg drop from off of the top eliminating Dupree at the 4:20 mark!

*Elimination 3-Rene Dupree by Shane McMahon-4:20*

Michael Cole: We’re down to seven men. Who’s going to win, and who’s going to Mania? We’ll find out when we come back!

*Commericals-3 minutes*

We come back and now in the 7:55 mark and still we have seven men in the match. The camera pans over to Shane and Rey going at it in one corner with neither man giving up an inch. We then see Jeff coming at Chris Daniels, but Daniels counters it and nails the Last Rites on Jeff. Jeff is out, as Daniels picks him up and sends him to the corner. Daniels comes at Jeff, but Daniels jumps to the top. Daniels turns around and sees Jeff right there. Daniels grabs Jeff and nails a modified facebuster, with Jeff falling to the outside, and Daniels landing back in the ring. Jeff Hardy has been eliminated!

*Elimination 4- Jeff Hardy by Christopher Daniels-8:15*

Then there were six. Kane comes at Daniels who seems to have hurt himself during that move, and attacks him. Kane picks him up, and throws him into the corner. Kane then nails a bunch of shoulder thrusts to Daniels. Daniels tries to break free, but is continued to be punished until Punk is tossed into Kane. Kane floors him with a boot. Meanwhile we see Rey and Show going at it. After 20 seconds of trying to get Show down, he succeeds with some help from Kane. Rey goes for Dropping the Dime and connects. Shane then connects with the Big Elbow from off of the top. Daniels gets up and nails the BME on Show. Show then slowly gets to his vertical base, and Kane nails the chokeslam on him! Kane then hoists Show up and then nails a big boot to eliminate him!

*Elimination 5-Big Show by Kane-10:42*

We’re down to Kane, Shane, Rey, Daniels, and Punk. The other four looks at Kane, and decide to attack him. Shane comes at him first and is floored with a clean uppercut from Kane. Rey then tries and is slammed hard to the mat. Daniels and Punk both try but is knocked down with a clothesline from the Big Red Machine! Kane then goes to the top and then nails a top rope clothesline on Shane who is just getting up! Shane is out once again, and Kane picks up Rey. Kane lifts Rey up, but is taken down to one knee by a chop block by Punk. Kane is then down on his knees as Daniels nails another chopblock. Daniels begins to showboat and is taken down with a chokeslam and Kane is up, and has Punk and chokeslams him as well! All five men are down as we cut to commercial once again!

*Commercials-4 Minutes*

We come back from commercials and we are at the 15:11 mark, and we see Daniels coming at Kane, but Kane grabs Daniels by the throat and then nails a chokeslam to the outside and Daniels is out of here!

*Elimination 6-Christopher Daniels by Kane-15:20*

We’re down to four, as each man is now in a corner, and looking at one another. Punk then goes at Kane, but Kane nails him with a right hand. However Shane goes on the top rope and nails a knockdown on Kane. Kane gets up again, and then this time is somehow hit with a knockdown from Mysterio. Kane though refuses to stay down. The battle continues for another 2 minutes, with Kane trying not to be eliminated. Mysterio is on the ropes, and Kane goes to clothesline him. Mysterio grabs the ropes and holds on, and Kane goes over the ropes and onto the floor, and Mysterio falls inside the ring, and we’re down to three!

*Elimination 7-Kane by Rey Mysterio-17:04*

The match continues with Shane and Punk teaming up trying to eliminate the already fatigued Mysterio. Mysterio though gets back right into the groove as the three men continue to brawl. Mysterio and Punk continue to do some more chain wrestling, and the crowd is loving it. Punk almost has Mysterio beaten, but Mysterio nails a headscissors on Punk, and Punk goes to the floor, and is gone!

*Elimination 8-CM Punk by Rey Mysterio-19:12*

We’re down to Shane and Mysterio. One of these two are going to Mania, while the other gets nothing, The two circle the match and lock up. Shane sends Mysterio to the ropes. Mysterio comes off of the ropes and connects with an elbow to Shane. Mysterio picks up Shane, and Shane comes back with a clothesline. Shane picks up Mysterio and goes for a kick but Mysterio counters it. Shane then nails a desperation enzurgi to Mysterio. Shane then heads to the top and nails the elbow. The crowd is on it’s feet. Shane picks up Mysterio and goes to eliminate him, but Shane is countered into a trap by Mysterio. The two battle to survive, but in the end both men fall at the same time!

*We see various camera angles of the conclusion, and at the end it’s considered a no contest*

*The crowd boos until Smackdown’s GM, Teddy Long comes down to the ring and address the audience*

Teddy Long: Playas and ladies, it looks like we have a situation on our hands. Well this is what is going to happen! Tonight, right here in Atlantic City, we will see in one corner, Shane McMahon, and in the other corner, Rey Mysterio!

*Huge pop*

Teddy Long: The winner of the match goes to Money in the Bank II!

*Huge Pop*

Michael Cole: What an announcement from Teddy Long! Shane/Rey!

Tazz: The winner goes to MITB II!

*We then see both men look at each other and shake hands as we cut to the back and see Josh Matthews standing with the Cruiserweight Champion, Psicosis!*

Josh Matthews: At this time, I would like to welcome my guest, the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Psicosis!

*Small pop*

Josh Matthews: Now in just a few moments, you will be facing Kid Kash in a non-title match. However in just nine days, you will be defending your Cruiserweight Championship against one of your fellow partners, Juvented Guerrera. However, with Juvi’s recent attitudes, do you still think that the Mexicools can be on the same page?

Psicosis: Well first off, about tonight, all I’m concerned about is facing Kid Kash! Whatever is up with Juvi, is…I don’t know. That’s a situation that will be settled at WrestleMania! However, like I mentioned tonight I’m focused on my match. As for Juvi, we go way back. But at Mania, eases, I’m not going to quit, and I’m not going to lose this…(points to the belt) WWE Cruiserweight Championship!

*Psicosis leaves but we see Juvi smiling in the background as Cole and Tazz announce that match is up next, as we cut to commercials*

Michael Cole: Welcome back here on Smackdown!

*Chimel does the introductions*

Match 2-Non-Title:
Psicosis(c) v. Kid Kash

Both men shake hands and begin the match with some chain cruiserweight moves. The action begins to send out to the outside, with Kash getting the advantage. Kash nails some good moves on Psicosis, but Psicosis fights back with some lucha libre styles from his WCW and Mexico days. Psicosis continues to build momentum, but Kid breaks it up by nailing a nice Shining Star on Psicosis. Psicosis barely is able to escape Kash’s finisher, but is clearly almost out of it. The match comes to a conclusion with a rollup by Psicosis to Kash for the 1-2-3!

Tony Chimel: The winner of the match, Psicosis! MT-10:12

*Juvi then comes into the ring and hands the CW belt to Psicosis. Juvi then shakes Psicosis’s hands and then raises his hand up in victory. Juvi then smiles and clotheslines Psicosis. The crowd is stunned! Pscisois then is picked up and his hit across the face by Juvi with the Cruiserweight championship! The crowd is completely shocked, as Juvi is unleashing a fury of rage on the champion! Juvi picks up Psicosis who is bleeding, and puts him on the top rope. Juvi then connects with a top rope Juvi Driver on Psciosis! The crowd is giving Juvi major heat as Juvi grabs a mike*

Juvented Guerrera: In nine days, Psicosis, this belt comes back home to it’s rightful owner, me, The Juice! Juvented Guerrera!

*Juvi then drops the belt on Psicosis*

Michael Cole: What the hell is the matter with Juvented Guerrera!

Tazz: I don’t know, but these two are going to go at it, at Mania and it will be personal!

*We cut to Steve Romero, who is with the WWE Womens’ Champion, Melina*

Steve Romero: Thank you Cole and Tazz. I’m here with the WWE Women’s Champion, Melina! Melina, in a few seconds you will be facing Kristal. However in nine days, you defend your WWE Womens’ Championship against Raw’s Victoria, in a Royal Rumble rematch. As of late, Victoria has been on quite roll. How do you plan to stop her this time?

Melina: Well let me just say this. Victoria, me and you have fought before. I beat you in PR, and at Mania I will beat you and end your threat once and for all. As for tonight, I plan to do what I do best and that is show and proves why I am the WWE Women’s Champion!

*Melina looks at the camera before leaving and heading to the ring*

Tazz: Melina and Kristal will get it on, when we come back!

*Commercials-3 Minutes*

Michael Cole: Welcome back to Smackdown folks!

*Chimel does the introductions*

Match 3-Non-Title:
Melina(c) v. Kristal

Short match, with Melina having the clear advantage and experience here, as she controls the pace. Kristal though comes back and tries to get in some moves on Melina. Melina though doesn’t let get into her head. Melina quickly ends the match with a kick to the side of the head and picks up the easy victory!

Tony Chimel: The winner of the match, Melina! MT-4:05

*Melina celebrates and gets ready to get out the ring, but Victoria appears on the titantron*

Victoria: Congratulations Melina! Congratulations! Alright enough with the pleasantries. At WrestleMania, I will put you out of your misery. Look at me, I said look at me! I defended the Womens’ Championship successfully two years ago at Mania. This time I walk into Mania the challenger, but you better believe I’m leaving Houston, with that title around my waist! You say that you will end my threat at Mania, but you’re wrong! I will end what can only be described as a pathetic reign as the champion!

Melina: Really, I beat you though at the Rumble to remain the champ!

*Huge pop*

Victoria: Lightning will not strike twice! You better enjoy these next nine days as the champion! At WrestleMania, I will once again become the Queen of Queens. I will once again become the WWE Women’s Champion!

*Huge Heat*

Victoria: See you at Mania!

*Victoria laughs as Melina looks at the tron with a mixed look*

Michael Cole: Well it has been a wild and crazy night here in Atlantic City, and it is about to get a lot more crazy.

Tazz: Yeah, when we come back, the Television Champion, Carlito will be hosting the Cabana, with the special guest, the man who will be facing Kurt Angle in nine days at WrestleMania XXII, Brock Lesnar!

Michael Cole: We’ll be right back!

*Commercials-3 Minutes*

*Cool hits and out comes the Television Champion, Carlito to a nice pop*

Michael Cole: In nine days, Carlito will be defending his Television Championship against Chris Masters!

Tazz: However tonight is the Cabana with Brock Lesnar!

Carlito: Welcome to the Cabana!

*Nice pop*

Carlito: In nine days, I will be facing the roid freak, Chris Masters for my Television Championship!

*Nice Pop*

Carlito: However tonight, my guest is the man who will be facing Kurt Angle at WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar!

*Here Comes the Pain hits and out comes Brock Lesnar to a bunch of heat*

Tazz: Well here comes the pain!

*Brock enters into the ring and takes a seat*

Carlito: Welcome Brock, welcome to the Cabana! Well let’s get down to business, shall we! This past Monday, you invaded Raw and here’s what happened.

Quote:
*Here Comes the Pain hits and Brock comes from the crowd, and clotheslines Kurt. Brock then picks up Kurt and nails three back to back backbreakers. Brock then hoists Angle up and delivers a devastating F-5 to Kurt Angle. Brock then leaves while Kurt is shown clutching his ribs*

Carlito: Well, you left your opponent a mess this past week on Raw. Brock, right now is there anything that you would like to say about your actions this past Monday Night?

Brock Lesnar: Yeah, there is. Kurt Angle, what happened to you this past Monday on Raw, was only a small taste to what I am going to do you at Mania! I refuse to lose!

*Crowd chants an asshole chant at Brock*

Brock Lesnar: Shut up!

*Chant gets louder*

Brock Lesnar: Shut Up!

*Chant gets even louder*

Carlito: It looks like they’re telling you how they feel about you!

*Crowd pops*

Brock Lesnar: You know what? It doesn’t matter! Kurt, pay attention to this clip!

Quote:
Clip of Brock facing Hulk Hogan during the summer of 2003. Brock defeats Hulk Hogan, and then beats the living hell out of the Hulkster, putting him on the shelf for the remainder of the year. The image ends with Brock wiping Hogan’s blood across his chest!*

*The crowd gives Lesnar more heat*

Brock Lesnar: You see that Kurt! That was Hulk Hogan! The Immortal Hulk Hogan! The leader of the Hulkamaniacs! And I put him on the shelf for five months!

*Huge jeers at Lesnar*

Brock Lesnar: At WrestleMania Kurt, I’m going to do the same to you! So rest up your ribs, and rest up your body, because when I get to Mania, I have only one thing in mind! And that’s kicking your ass all up and down Houston, and once again proving who the better man is!

*Brock’s music hits again as Brock leaves and Brock has a smile on his face*

Michael Cole: Well in just nine days, Brock is going to have to put up or shut up, when he faces Kurt Angle!

Tazz: That is going to be intense!

Michael Cole: Well coming up next, we’re going to be joined by the WWE Tag Team Champions, MNM, along with the WWE Women’s Champion, Melina, as they scout their two opponents at Mania, AMW and the Dudleys as those two teams will go at it, NEXT!

*Commercials-2 Minutes*

Tazz: Welcome back folks! Just a reminder, that next week the final WrestleMania commercial will be revealed! Tune into WWE programming next week to see it!

*Chimel does the introductions*

Match 4:
AMW v. Dudley Boyz

Great tag team action as we know these two teams have already shown that they have great chemistry with each other. The two teams try to put on a good performance with the tag champs, MNM, at ringside doing commentary. Harris and Storm almost score the victory after connecting with the Death Sentence on Bubba Ray, but D-Von breaks it up. Storm nails a kick to Bubba knocking him down. Storm tries to hit D-Von, but misses and hits his partner, Harris. D-Von sends Storm to the ropes and the Dudleys connect with 3-D on Storm and pick up the victory!

Tony Chimel: The winners of the match, D-Von and Bubba Ray, The Dudley Boyz! MT-7:44

*After the match, both AMW and the Dudleys look at MNM at the commentary table. Mercury and Nitro get into the ring with the belts and looks both teams in the eyes, and hold up the WWE Tag Team Titles, and mouthing the words “This right here, (signaling the belts) is what it’s all about!” The three teams look at each other, as the camera pans into the back and we see a limo arriving. But we don’t know who it is, as the black limo door doesn’t open up, as we go to commercials*

*Commercials-3 Minutes*

*Longhorn hits and out comes JBL in limo and all to a chorus of boos*

JBL: Ah, Atlantic City. The East coast version of Las Vegas! Full of hookers, booze, and morons, who waste all of their money in casinos winning nothing, and blaming others for their own foolishness!

*Crazy heat on JBL*

JBL: Listen to me, because you all know it’s true! You see it takes a special person to do what I do. Not a regular human being. No, really more of a super being. Like myself. The Wrestling God, JBL!

*More heat on JBL*

JBL: Hunter, last Monday on Raw, I outsmarted you and the whole B-Show known as Raw! I beat you at your own game!

*More heat on JBL*

JBL: Ever since Monday night, all I’ve been hearing is that Triple H is coming to Smackdown! My show! The show, thanks to me, is single handily changing Friday Nights on Television!

*More heat*

JBL: Boo me all you want! But that is what you do to all of your teams, because they all suck, just like each and every single one of you! From you, the fat guy eating his donut, to the guy with the letters E-C-W on them, as Jerry the King Lawler, refers to as “Extremely Crappy Wrestling!”

*You Suck chants thrown at JBL*

JBL: Hey this isn’t Raw, and I’m not Kurt Angle, so I do not suck! However you people do!

*More heat on JBL*

JBL: Come hell, come high water, come Kingdom creek, after WrestleMania, there will be one man standing tall as the winner, and his name, is JBL!

*More heat*

JBL: And all of you, will bow and kiss the ground of the greatest WWE Champion of all time, the Wrestling God himself, JBL. And then you will chant and be in awe of my presence, by saying “J-B-L!, J-B-L!...”

*More heat*

*Time to Play the Game hits and Triple H comes from the black limo, with a sledgehammer in hand. Trips walks to the ring, and the two brawl. JBL gets the better, and goes for the Clothesline from Hell, but misses. Triple H clocks him with the sledgehammer! Triple H then picks up JBL and nails the pedigree on JBL! The crowd is going wild! Trips grabs a mike*

Triple H: And if you ain’t down with that, I got two words, for ya!

*Crowd yells out Suck It!*

*Triple H does the DX crotch chop as DX’s music plays*

Michael Cole: Triple H just made a point to JBL.

Tazz: Yeah, JBL is a bloody mess!

Michael Cole: Well coming up next, Chris Jericho is in a must win situation as he faces Billy Kidman, in Match 6 of the Best of Seven Series!

Tazz: I can’t wait!

*Commercials-3 Minutes*

*Chimel does the introductions*

Match 5: Match 6 of the Best of 7 Series-Kidman 3, Jericho 2
Billy Kidman v. Chris Jericho

Jericho fights like there’s no tomorrow, but Kidman is with him every step of the way. Jericho connects with a bunch of his signature moves, but Kidman remains right there with the first ever Undisputed WWE Champion! Jericho nails a lionsault but only gets a two count. Jericho countered the BK Bomb into a reverse backbreaker. The finish of the brutal match sees Jericho getting the Walls of Jericho locked in and Kidman has no other alternative but to tap out and we’re all tied up at three a piece!

Tony Chimel: The winner of the match, Chris Jericho! MT-8:45

*We see a shot into Teddy Long’s office*

Teddy Long: Congratulations Chris Jericho for tying this series up! Since it’s all tied up at three a piece, Match 7 will take place in nine days at WrestleMania XXII!

*Huge Pop*

Teddy Long: However it will be a Last Man Standing Match!

*Huge Pop*

Teddy Long: May the best man win!

*MacMillitant plays once again as both men look at each other*

Michael Cole: What an announcement from GM Theodore Long!

Tazz: Last Man Standing to determine the Undisputed United States Champion!

Michael Cole: Oh my! Well coming up next, due to what happened earlier tonight, Shane McMahon will face Rey Mysterio with the winner going to Money in the Bank II at WrestleMania 22!

Tazz: We’ll be right back!

*Commercials-2 Minutes*

*Chimel does the introductions*

Match 6: Winner goes to MITB II
Shane McMahon v. Rey Mysterio

Both men show signs of fatigue from the battle royal match from earlier in the show, but still is willing to put on a match that the fans will enjoy. Rey being the quicker of the two, is able to stay on his feet while Shane struggles to get some what of an offense going. Shane finally is able to get some moves in and even nails a DDT and gets a two count. Mysterio nails the Dropping the Dime on Shane, but somehow Shane was able to escape. Shane though had Mysterio’s number, as Mysterio was hit with the elbow from off the top after a superplex from Shane from off of the top rope! Shane barely is able to make the cover, but it’s good enough for the win!

Tony Chimel: The winner of the match, Shane McMahon! MT-12:22

Michael Cole: Shane McMahon is going to Money in the Bank II!

Tazz: Shane gave one hell of a performance and he’s going to Mania! Not for nothing, Rey gave his all, but in the end it was Shane’s night!

Michael Cole: What a match!

*Josh Matthews is with Hulk Hogan and Booker T!*

Josh Matthews: Hulk Hogan, Booker T, in a few moments you will be teaming up and facing the WWE Champion, Randy Orton, and the Macho Man Randy Savage! After what happened last week, what can we expect tonight?

Booker T: Tonight, is the time for revenge. Last week the Hulkster and I were the victims of an assault from Orton and Savage. Tonight, we return the favor, and unleash hell on them!

Hulk Hogan: You know something Josh? Orton and Savage stuck their noses in something it didn’t belong. I’m be short and to the point tonight brother. Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when the 5 time WCW Champion and Hulkamania run wild on YOU!

Booker T: Now can you dig that…

Both: Suckas!

*Both men leave as we cut to break*

*Raw Rebound is shown*

*Chimel does the introductions*

Main Event:
Hulk Hogan/Booker T v. Randy Orton(c)/Randy Savage

Considering the people in the ring, the crowd makes this match watchable. Orton and Booker though really develops their story as they work the bulk of the match. Savage and Hogan though work more on the outside. Finish of the match though sees Savage being hit with the legdrop and the 1—2---3!

Tony Chimel: The winners of the match, Hulk Hogan and Booker T! MT-10:20

Michael Cole: What a match! What a night! We see you next Friday in Fort Worth! Goodnight from Atlantic City!

Tazz: What a night!

*Show ends with Hulk and Booker celebrating in the ring to the sold-out crowd*

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

SmackDown! Review:

Opening Match- Very well written for a Battle Royal, didnt get confusing and it was a great length. The controversy at the end was pretty cool and overall it was a good opening match and the announcement for later on was great too.

Psicosis interview- Short, sweet, to the point. Hypes up the upcoming match AND the WM match while teasing Juvi's heel turn, which I can see happening tonight. Nice touch having Juvi smiling in the background

Psicosis vs. Kash- Hmm, kind of a problem here IMO. I feel like Psicosis should have been the one dominating instead of Kash, giving him the momentum as a champ going into WM. Sure Psicosis got the win, but Kash was destroying him at the end it seems like, oh well. Juvi makes his imminent heel turn and the CW match at WM should be great.

Melina interview- Another short interview, but it's good, trying to hype every WM match you can with only nine days remaining. Nothing special, but not bad.

Melina vs Kristal- Meh, womens match, champ wins, yada yada yada. Good aftermath with Melina and Victoria taking shots on the mic, but Victoria pretty much dominated...possibly a new champ at WM? Oh, nice line by the way, lightning won't strike twice, I may be stealing that

Carlito's Cabana- I found this surprsingly short to be honest, but then again I understand as you want to hype all the WM matches you can and everything, so it's crunch time. Nice having Brock hype himself up as a destructive monster, showing the Hulk clip and everything. Their match should be great at WM...hope no one botches a SSP...

3D vs AMW- Nothing too great here, but a good tag match for a normal SD and hypes the tag match at WM. Nice having MNM on commentary as well, and the staredown between all three teams at the end. It's all about build-up and hype tonight, but it should be

JBL/HHH segment- JBL was spot on tonight, very in character and did a good job of hyping himself and his WM match. I loved the line about him not being Angle so he doesn't suck, but the fans do, priceless. HHH attacking was kind of obvious, but it was still great. Their match should be awesome to say the least.

Kidman vs Jericho- Man, this rivalry has been pretty intense so far and the matches have been great. Of course Jericho picks up the win in order to tie the series at 3-3, and end it at WM. Last Man Standing?! That's gonna be sick, and we'll finally see who will be the US champion...I think Kidman could get the real push here and win the match. Interesting choice of competitors for the title and I'd love to see Kidman in a LMS match.

Shane vs Mysterio- Wow, Shane got the win?! I find it funny how the current SD champ (in real life) gets beat by someone who doesnt even wrestle full time, haha. Anyway I liked Shane winning after what seems like a decent match, and I'm sure you have a crazy-ass spot lined up for him at the MITB, dont see him winning though

Hogan/Booker interview- Again, short but sweet, and I really was entertained by this even though it was short. I'd like to see Hogan yell SUCKAAAAS at the camera, haha. Hyped the main event, which could be a good match.

Boooker/Hogan vs Orton/Savage- Meh, seemed like too many matches tonight but at least this was kept short, nothing special, especially with two older veterans in the ring. Good to see Booker and Hogan pick up the win, and WM is looking great after tonight's show.

Overall- 8/10. I understand why there was so much hype and quick interviews, the biggest PPV of them all WM is only 9 days away! BUT, I think you had too many matches for a regular SD and could have devoted some match time to longer segments and interviews for increased, in-depth hype and stuff. On the other hand, I get why you needed the matches done, I just feel like interviews/promos would have been better in place of some matches. It wasn't your best show, due to the short promos and such, but it did its job of mega-hyping WM so it was still a good show, and entertaining. This seems to be a very unique WM to be honest, and I'm really excited to see how it turns out.

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Smackdown Review

A nice way to start the show off with a battle royal is very well written. A good match and a good ending to it with Rey and Shane O Mac eliminating each other at the same time. Rey v Shane O Mac later should be good.

Decent short interview with Psychosis hyping up his Mania match with Juvi.

A good Hard fought victory here for Psychosis. Great aftermath with Juvi showning a mean side to him busting open Psychosis.

Melina beats Krystal in what would be a terrible match, good promo after the match between Melina and Victoria.

I thought this was a little too short for a Carlito Cabana. Anyway it was a still a good enough promo with Lesner coming along as a Monster going into his Mania match with Angle showing the clip of what he did to Hogan.

Big win for the Dudlyz beating one of the opposition teams in the TLC Match at Mania. Good aftermath with the three teams having a stare down.

This promo was the best one so far this show. JBL's speech was very in character. HHH comes out and destroys JBL however with his sledgehammer.

Good to see you pushing Billy Kidman in this thread, putting him in a feud with Y2J is a big step from how he was pushed in real life. Jericho gets an unsuprising victory here as i don't think you end the best of 7 series on the 6th match. Jericho v Kidman in a Last man Standing Match should be a very good match.

WOW Shane O Mac gets the victory and he enters the MITB. Not too keen on you putting over a man who isn't even a full time wrestler a big push. I don't think he will win the MITB however.

Meh not too keen on you using veterans like Hogan and Savage who are both in real life over 50 years old, in real life this match would of been a stinker. Hogan and Booker pick up the win after Hogan hits his leg drop on Savage.

Overall rating 81/100

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Raw for March 20th, 2006:
Dallas, Texas
American Airlines Center

*Opening video and pyro is done*

*We open up and we see a ladder in the ring*

*The Way I Am hits and out comes Raw General Manager, Jonathan Carter to a bunch of heat. Jonathan climbs in the ring and gets a mike*

Jonathan Carter: In six days, at WrestleMania, three Raw superstars, and three Smackdown superstars will do battle in Money in the Bank II!

*Huge Pop*

Jonathan Carter: The winner of the match gets a guaranteed WWE or World Heavyweight Championship title shot at any time during the next twelve months including WrestleMania 23!

*huge pop*

Jonathan Carter: On one side, you have the superior Raw superstars, in Ken Kennedy!

*Nice pop*

Jonathan Carter: The Animal, Batista!

*Huge pop*

Jonathan Carter: And, the winner of last week’s battle royal match, Nova!

*Decent pop*

Jonathan Carter: And on the other side, the B-Show stars. First off, Christian!

*Small pop, but boos are heard*

Jonathan Carter: Then you have The Miz!

*Heat*

Jonathan Carter: And finally, the owner’s son, Shane McMahon!

*Nice pop*

Jonathan Carter: But it doesn’t matter! Not one bit! You see whether it’s Kennedy, Nova, or Batista, Raw is going to do what it has always done. And that is win!

*MacMillitant hits and out comes Smackdown General Manager, Teddy Long with his MITB II participants, Shane McMahon, The Miz, and Christian!*

Teddy Long: You see Jonathan, you claim that you have always defeated Smackdown! Well let see it was Smackdown who won the Survivor Series last November. It was Smackdown who won the Royal Rumble. And this Sunday, it’s going to be one of these three men, winning Money in the Bank II, and proudly representing their brand of Smackdown!

*Nice pop*

Jonathan Carter: Really! Well let me bring down my three guys then!

*The Raw theme is played, and the three Raw stars enter the ring, and stare the Smackdown stars down*

Teddy Long: Playa, my crew is ready. Ready to kick some ass!

*No Chance hits and out comes the WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon to a bunch of pops*

Vince McMahon: Teddy, Jonathan. I see that there’s a problem here. There’s only one way to fix it! That is to have Raw’s Ken Kennedy, Nova, and Batista take on Smackdown’s The Miz, Christian, and my son, Shane McMahon in an interpromotional Six-Man Tag Match, right here tonight!

Jim Ross: Yeah, let them go at it!

Vince McMahon: One more thing… that match starts right now! So get that damn ladder out of the ring, and lets go!

Jim Ross: This match will take place, when we come back!

*Commercials-2 Minutes*

Jim Ross: Welcome back, and lets get this match underway!

Match 1:
Interpromotional Six Man Tag Team Match:
Ken Kennedy/Nova/Batista v. Christian/The Miz/Shane McMahon

The match is basically a build up to the Money in the Bank match, this Sunday at Mania, with both teams working together, but at the same time, wrestling for themselves mentality. Batista and Christian work most of the match, with Shane, Miz, and Nova doing some big spots including a 450 splash from Miz to the ground and on Kennedy. Nova though nails the Kyprototine Krunch on Shane, and almost gets the three count, but Shane somehow is able to get the shoulder up. The match finally comes to an end, when Kennedy nails the Green Bay Plunge, and gets the three count and the win for Raw!

Lillian Garcia: The winners of the match, Nova, Batista, and…

*Kennedy grabs the mike*

Ken Kennedy: Mr. Kennedy!!!...Kennedy!!! MT-9:05

*Kennedy then heads off with the other Raw members, as Smackdown now realizes they lost.*

Jim Ross: Way to go Raw!

Jerry Lawler: Well Matt Hardy is with Todd Grisham.

Todd Grisham: Matt Hardy in a few moments, you will be going one on one against Gene Snitsky! This Sunday, at WrestleMania, you will be facing off against the Rated R Superstar, Edge! What are your thoughts?

Matt Hardy: Tonight is tonight. Snitsky is just a victim to what Edge is going to face this Sunday at Mania! Edge, look at me. I know you’re here. All of this, comes to an end Sunday. At WrestleMania, you’re not going to see Version 1.0 Matt Hardy. You’re not going to see Team Extreme Matt Hardy. You’re not going to see Hardy Boyz’ Matt Hardy! At WrestleMania, all you will see is the real Matt Hardy!

*Huge Pop*

Matt Hardy: Adam, that’s right Adam. Look at me! Look at my face! Then look at your face. Look at what is right there in front of you. Trust me, whether I win or lose, I will give you everything I have, and I, Matt Hardy will not quit, and I will not DIE!

*Matt leaves and heads to the ring*

*Lillian does the introductions*

Jim Ross: When we come back, these two will get it on!

*Commercials-3 Minutes*

Match 2:
Matt Hardy v. Snitsky

The match is already in progress, as we come back from the break. Snitsky is currently using his power and height over Matt. However Matt continues to bring the fight to Snitsky. Matt runs into the big boot, but is able to kick out at the count of two. Matt comes back and connects with the Side Effect, but is only able to get a count of two. Matt goes up and goes for a clothesline, but Snitsky connects with the Pump Handle Slam! 1---------2---------------and Matt gets the foot on the rope as the last moment. The match comes to a conclusion, as Matt counters a clothesline from Snitsky, and connects with the Twist of Fate on Snitsky! 1-----------------2---------and Edge pulls the ref out of the ring! Edge gets in the ring and spears the hell out of Hardy! The ref calls for the bell!

Lillian Garcia: The winner by DQ, Matt Hardy! MT-8:42

*Edge then spears the ref, Mike Chioda for calling for the bell. Snitsky rolls out of the ring, as Matt slowly gets up, and is hit with another spear, getting a bunch of heat from the crowd! Edge then gets a mike, and gets on the mat, talking right in Matt’s ear*

Edge: You said that I should look in the mirror at myself. No, Matt, you should go home, and type on some forums and message boards, and cry about how bad it’s going to be to lose to the Rated R Superstar, one of the most watched WWE Champions in history, and the man who is undefeated at Wrestlemania, the man who will be 5-0 at Mania after Sunday, me Edge! As for being real, I, Adam Copeland, is going to kick your North Carolina ass all over Houston, like every NFL team does to the Texans! *Huge Heat* See you Sunday, Matt!

*Edge then slams the mike on Matt*

Jim Ross: Edge, has sent the message loud and clear to Matt Hardy about this Sunday!

Jerry Lawler: Yeah, and I must say, Edge is unstoppable heading into Mania.

Jim Ross: Maria is backstage with the man who is going to face Rhyno, this Sunday at Mania, for the European Championship, Muhammad Hassan!

Maria: Thanks JR. I’m here with…

*Muhammad snatches the mike from Maria, and scares her off*

Muhammad Hassan: Now that I am no longer near that typical American bimbo, Rhyno, this Sunday at WrestleMania, I am going to create my own WrestleMania moment when I beat you and become the NEW WWE European Champion!

*Huge Heat*

Muhammad Hassan: You see Rhyno, you get your props from the people in bingo halls and rat infested arenas like this one, here in Dallas, for being the last ECW Champion, but let me tell you something…ECW IS DEAD!

*More Heat*

Muhammad Hassan: Dead, like your title reign as the European Champion is going to be come Mania, this Sunday!

*Heat*

Muhammad Hassan: At WrestleMania, I, Muhammad Hassan is going to be the NEXT WWE European Champion!

*Hassan leaves as we cut to the arrival of DX including the World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels!*

*We then cut over to the Intercontinental Champion, Rob Van Dam who is stretching.*

Jerry Lawler: Well when we come back, Rob Van Dam will be in action as he takes on Steven Richards!

*Commercials-3 Minutes*

*Lillian does the introductions*

Match 3:
Rob Van Dam(c) v. Steven Richards

In a match that uses a bunch of mat style wrestling, Steven uses some of his tatics from his bWo days in ECW to get over with the crowd and in the match. However RVD uses his signature moves, like Rolling Thunder which put an end to Richards’ momentum in the match. The match however ends on a short note, with Richards going for a superplex, but RVD knocking him off of the top rope and back into the ring. RVD then nails the Five Star Frog Splash on Steven and picks up the win!

Lillian Garcia: The winner of the match, Rob Van Dam! MT-7:05

*Van Dam celebrates with the win, and begins to head to the back. Van Dam gets in the back and is immediately attacked by Chris Benoit. Benoit then locks in the crossface on Van Dam on the concerte. Benoit then yells “At WrestleMania, I am going to take what’s mine, and I am going to take you Rob, TO THE EXTREME!” Benoit then lets go and stares at the Intercontinental Championship*

*We cut to ringside with JR and King*

Jim Ross: What is going on here tonight, I don’t believe what has been taken place here in Dallas tonight!

Jerry Lawler: Yeah, it’s been a wild night, and I have a feeling it’s going to get worst!

*Glass Shatters hits and out comes Stone Cold Steve Austin to a huge pop from the Dallas crowd*

Jim Ross: The 15, 887 fans are on their feet for Stone Cold Steve Austin!

*Austin gets into the ring and then gets a mike*

Stone Cold: In six days, I will be competing in my first WrestleMania match in three years and my eight one in my career. My opponent, the 6’10, 315 pound, eye ball rolling freak, The Undertaker!

*Pop for Taker*

Stone Cold: What?

*Crowd does a What chant*

Stone Cold: At WrestleMania, Stone Cold is going to face The Undertaker!

*What*

Stone Cold: Undertaker is going to get his ass kicked by the Rattlesnake!

*What*

Stone Cold: The Rattlesnake!

*What*

Stone Cold: The toughest S.O.B. in this business!

*What*

Stone Cold: The man who fought Bret Hart at Mania 13!

*What*

Stone Cold: The man who ended the reign of that sorry San Antonio excuse of a wrestler, the current World Champion, Shawn Michaels!

*What, with boos and heat*

Stone Cold: The man who whipped The Rock’s ass twice out of our three meetings at Mania!

*What*

Stone Cold: The man who beat that New World Order, real life Sandman ripoff, Scott Hall!

*What*

Stone Cold: And the man who is going to beat and end the legacy of The Deadman in his own hometown!

*What*

Stone Cold: And that’s the bottom line, cause…

*The lights go black and Taker’s theme is played. The lights go to purple and Taker is behind Austin. Austin turns around and goes right for the stunner, but Taker counters it and nails the chokeslam on Austin*

Undertaker: Austin, this Sunday, at WrestleMania, you will REST…IN…PEACE!

*Taker’s music is played again as he exits the ring to a huge pop*

Jim Ross: Oh man, WrestleMania 22 is shaping up to be one of the biggest Manias of all time.

Jerry Lawler: I don’t think 5 hours is enough to fit all of this action into one night!

Jim Ross: Well when we come back, we will hear with the man who is going to be going one on one with JBL, The Game himself, Triple H!

Jerry Lawler: We’ll be right back!

*Commercials-2 Minutes*

The Coach: I am here with the man who last Friday on Smackdown took out JBL with a sledgehammer. Here’s a clip of what happened last Friday on Smackdown!

Quote:

The Coach: Triple H, what can be said about your actions this past Friday and your actions this Sunday in Houston?

Triple H: My actions…

*JBL appears from the other side of the camera view with security in toe*

JBL: His actions are nothing, but to beat and humiliated and lose once again at WrestleMania, like he has been doing the past two years. Hunter, due to your attack, I suffered nine stitiches to the forehead, and countless time spent at the doctor, consulting other issues.

*Pop*

JBL: Hunter, you’re in my home! My home field! Home to the greats, like the Von Erichs, the Rattlesnake, while he may be on Raw, the World Champion, Shawn Michaels, but none more important than the Wrestling God, himself, I, JBL, John Bradshaw Layfield!

*Pop*

JBL: Take it easy Hunter. Because I’m not going to do nothing to you now. I’ll let my frustration serve as my purpose of kicking your Pinnochio ass at Mania! Cause Triple H, at WrestleMania, when the smoke clears, when the water has been drained, when the sun has risen again and it is morning, you will all realize that there will be only one winner, and son, his name is JBL! The True American Hero!

*Pop*

JBL: Now take me to my limo, this place and city sucks, but more importantly, this show, Raw sucks!

*Huge heat*

*Security escort JBL to his limo and out of the arena*

*Lilian does the introductions*

Match 4:
William Regal v. Rob Conway

A filler match here as the crowd notices it and really doesn’t give a chance to be good. Decent but really average match, as the match ends with the Regal Stretch and Conway tapping out, and Regal wins the easy match!

Lillian Garcia: The winner of the match, William Regal! MT-8:03

Jim Ross: Regal picks up the win.

*Remember the Name plays from Fort Minor as the WrestleMania lineup is being announced*

Jim Ross: Well folks, Raw, Smackdown, and Snickers presents WWE WrestleMania XXII! This Sunday, live from the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The card can possibly be one of the biggest cards of all time! Two Texans collide when Stone Cold Steve Austin looks to dethrone The Undertaker’s perfect Mania record.

Jerry Lawler: After what happened earlier, Austin may be motivated enough to do it. Also, the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line for the first time in four years at Mania, when Rob Van Dam defends the title against Chris Benoit!

Jim Ross: These two fought in Benoit’s hometown at No Way Out, when RVD remaining the champ. And after the assault from Benoit earlier tonight, what condition will the champion be in come Sunday? Also, the European Championship will be on the line as Muhammad Hassan challenges Rhyno!

Jerry Lawler: Rhyno won the title tournament last month at No Way Out, but tonight Hassan made it perfectly clear, that he is leaving Houston as the new champ! Bitter enemies look to settle it once and for all as Matt Hardy takes on Edge!

Jim Ross: The near year collision course that these two men been on looks to come to an end this Sunday! In one of four interpromotional matches, the WWE Womens’ Championship will be on the line as Smackdown’s and the WWE Womens’ Champion, Melina defends the title against Victoria!

Jerry Lawler: Both divas have been red hot, and been on fire, but at Mania only one will leave the champion. Another interpromotional match is that of Raw’s Triple H vs. Smackdown’s JBL!

Jim Ross: JBL may have the home field advantage but in all honestly, this match will be a complete slobberknocker! Raw’s Kurt Angle takes on Smackdown’s Brock Lesnar!

Jerry Lawler: In what is more than a simple Mania rematch, has turned into a brutal feud. These two are both out to prove who’s the better man. Once and for all at Mania, that answer will be answered! Then it’s Money in the Bank II, one of two ladder matches to be shown on Sunday. Raw’s Ken Kennedy, Batista, and Nova will face off against Smackdown’s Christian, The Miz, and Shane McMahon! The winner gets a guaranteed World Heavyweight or WWE Championship shot anytime over the next twelve months including WrestleMania 23!

Jim Ross: And finally for Raw, the big one, a rematch that has about ten years in the making. The World Heavyweight Championship will be decided between the champion, Shawn Michaels and the challenger, Bret Hart!

Jerry Lawler: Talk about personal! These two may try to kill each other this Sunday!

Jim Ross: Well lets send it to the WWE Studios to Michael Cole and Tazz, where they will give you the Smackdown matches!

Michael Cole: Thank you JR and King. Well Tazz, Mania is this Sunday, and here’s what Smackdown has to offer! TLC VI for the WWE Tag Team Championships when the champs MNM defend the belts against AMW and the Dudleys!

Tazz: A match that has made countless Mania moments, can also create another one on Sunday, when these three teams do battle. The United States Championship will be on the line in a Last Man Standing match as Match 7 will be contested between Chris Jericho and Billy Kidman!

Michael Cole: For the last two months, these two men have been going at it, like crazy in the series. However at the end of their match on Sunday, there will finally be an Undisputed United States Champion! The Television Championship will be on the line as Carlito defends the title against Chris Masters!

Tazz: Carlito who has been champ since the Rumble is facing a man who has more power than him, but if anyone can pull off the victory it’s my boy, Carlito!

Michael Cole: And folks, JR and King already spoke on the Interpromotional matches, but none no bigger than the Smackdown and WrestleMania main event, when the WWE Champion, Randy Orton defends the WWE Championship against the Rumble winner and Houston’s own Booker T!

Tazz: It will be a rocketbuster in every way. 5 hours. 3 performances. One huge night! This Sunday!

Michael Cole: Back to you guys in Houston!

Jim Ross: Well when we come back folks, we will be hearing from both the World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart in an interview conducted by WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon!

Jerry Lawler: We’ll be right back!

*Commercials*

*No Chance hits and out comes the WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon to a nice pop and he comes to the ring where there is two stands and two mikes. Vince pulls a mike from his jacket*

Vince McMahon: This Sunday, history will be made as for the first time in almost ten years Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart will face off in a match. Michaels and Hart will fight for Michaels’s World Heavyweight Championship. With the no physical contact rule between both men ending this Sunday at Mania in their match, tonight we will speak on exactly the issues between both men and even I myself. So without further ado, please welcome the challenger, Bret the Hitman Hart!

*Hart Attack hits and out comes Bret to a huge pop, despite being in Texas*

Mr. McMahon: And introducing his opponent, the World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels!

*Break it Down hits and out comes the World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels to a huge Texas size pop*

Mr. McMahon: Alright in six days, you two will fight for the World Heavyweight Championship!

*Huge Pop*

Mr. McMahon: Bret, is there anything that you would like to say?

Bret Hart: Yes, there is.

*Pop*

Bret Hart: Vince, back in October 1996, I signed what at the time one of the biggest contracts in this business. I was going to wrestle for three years, and continue the 20 year contract as part of the front office in Stamford! Basically I was going to be in the WWE for life! However, the company was going through a bunch of financial problems, due to Eric Bischoff, Ted Turner and WCW kicking your ass week in and week out. You, yourself then told me to go to WCW and work there. However, even though they offered me way more than you did, I was going to be loyal. I had a loyalty to this company, that was not going to stop right then. And even though you and I both knew, that I had a clause in my contract, about my final days in this company, you sh1tted all over it!

*Boos at McMahon*

Bret Hart: So, Mr. “I Lost My Smile” over here, was such a baby, and pre-madonna that he didn’t want to return the favor and wrestle me at Mania 13! Just one year after I made his ass a star, he didn’t do nothing in return but humiliate me and my family. Like when he said my father Stu, was dead but his brain and body didn’t realize it yet as he walked around Calgary. And you Vince, I told you time and time again that I would have been more than happy to have come out there, that next night and give you the belt back, and end my career in the WWE on a good note, and make peace with my American fans! But no, you couldn’t have that. You couldn’t trust me! You couldn’t trust me, when I only missed two shows, both due to traveling conflicts, in my fourteen year career! What the hell is the matter with you!

*Cheers as Bret gets in Vince’s face*

Bret Hart: You said that you had no problem with the match ending in DQ. However you screwed me, you son of a b1tch!

*Huge Pop*

Bret Hart: In my own country. In the one place, where I was known to be the “chosen one”! Vince, we all knew that I was heading out. Could you just have let me leave with my head up high! No! You had to ruin my career, and cause hell in my life! You know what? It felt good when I punched your jaw that night! Yeah, it hurt like hell, but it was worth it! Shawn, you better believe that this Sunday, I am going to unleash a hell on you, like never seen before! Shawn, this isn’t about titles to me! This is about pride, honor, and dignity. Three things that you Shawn, don’t have and never will have! Shawn, this Sunday, you will see why I am the excellence of execution, and why I am the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be! You will see why I am Bret “The Hitman” Hart!

*Shawn Michaels then picks up his mike*

Shawn Michaels: I was asked by my boss to do something, and I did it. In life people do some things that they don’t like doing, but they do it anyway. Be the reasons of not wanting to do it, is pride, respect, honor, or whatever it is, they suck it up for that time, and still do it. That’s what I did nine years ago. I did my job. Bret, if I had to, I would do it again!

*Some heat on Michaels*

Shawn Michaels: However this Sunday, you will see a new side of Shawn Michaels! Not the 1996 Shawn Michaels. Not the 1998 Shawn Michaels. Not the 2002 Shawn Michaels! You will see a Shawn Michaels you never seen before!

*Pop*

Shawn Michaels: You critize and blame me for what happened nine years ago, but at Mania, I am going to show and prove once and for all, that I am right, and you, Bret, screwed Bret. At Mania, despite personal differences, it’s about this World Heavyweight Championship! And I will beat you this Sunday, not because of fate or even destiny. But because I can!

*Michaels and Hart stare each other down as Michaels holds the belt up high*
