Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Looks like we are gonna get a big promo between Austin & Kennedy here. Wow, Kennedy is getting Austin really pissed. And Kennedy chickens out, and he's gonna get his ass whipped at NWO

Batista gets a win over half of the tag champs, but it's Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas, not Chase Douglas

Nova gives a good promo, and a match against Rhyno would be classic

Edge is coming back? Perfect timing for a MITB match to be announced perhaps?

Ouch, GORE through the table, and that's it for Shane. We are gonna get a classic Rhyno/Nova match at NWO

I'm guessing Nova is now heel, seeing as he beat the hell out of Rhyno there, I see Rhyno winning at NWO however

Rock calls for Cena but gets HHH, and whips his ass, and what's this 6 man tag coming up later?

Ivory is still around? Hmm, well Jillian gets the win, and is going to No Way Out, but I wouldn't like either of the two there to be Womens champ

Benoit just gets the win over Flair, in what would be a great match. I am confused, Benoit is heel right, and RVD is face? Either way, it's gonna be a huge match, NWO is looking sweet

Another odd message to HBK, from of course Bret Hart, setting up for either a WM match, or a screwjob?

Talk about huge matches, when you get Austin, Rock, Angle, HHH, Michaels & Kennedy in the ring at once, you know you're serious. Big win for the faces, which might mean however, that the heels sweep at NWO

Nice show KOM, would appreciate if the review is returned in my thread like the old days. 8/10

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Austin/Kennedy promo was decent, could have been better though and I think it should have been better before their match at NWO. Anyways, should be a good match

Batista defeats Styles with help from Chase Stevens, not Chase Douglas. Anyways decent match but does Batista even have a match this Sunday at No Way Out?

Short interview from Nova and well I wasn't really feeling it. Something that has always put you down was promos. They are normally too short such as this one

Lita comes in to announce Edge is coming back in two weeks? Whoa! Huge news right there and seems like Edge/Hardy is going to start up, maybe lead to a WM match

Rhyno gets the win which was expected, Rhyno vs Nova, whoa! Two ECW alumnis facing off for the European title which should be a great Hardcore Match and I can't wait

The Rock wants Cena and I have a gut feeling he will be getting Cena and it will be at WrestleMania. Would be a great match but Triple H attacks from behind before NWO

Jillian gets the win and now will be going onto No Way Out. Clear this up for me so I know whom she faces? Is Melina still the Women's Champion in this thread or not?

Submission Match was good but not many details. Work on that, tell us what big moves were hit and what else happened. RVD should haven't started another brawl tbh

DQ win for the faces. Ah decent match but didn't really understand how the faces got the win. Anyways, can't wait to see how your No Way Out turns out to be

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

WWE News and Notes, and Smackdown Preview:

To clear a bunch of confusion, No Way Out is indeed a Raw Pay-Per_View. For the first time, I have actually started the PPV before posting all of the weekly shows leading up to a PPV. Currently, I'm at the 1/3 point of the 3rd Match on the card. Unless I feel the need to, there will be only seven matches on the card. As far as tthe new WM Commercial, it will be premiered during the NWO PPV.

The World Heavyweight Championship Match between Michaels and Angle will indeed be heavily hyped up throughout the event, with of course Michaels being given the heel heat from the Canadian Fans. Expect a hard fought match between RVD and Chris Benoit for the IC title, as both men want to put on an excellent match.

The Unification and Tag Team Title Matches will feature quite some spots from all the individuals as both matches will be looked upon to determine whether or not, the feuds will continue.

For the Womens' Match, Melina, the WWE Womens' Champion, will be at ringside, and will most likely be involved in some form, for the buildup for the match at WrestleMania 22!

As for The Rock and Triple H, expect a match that would rival some of their matches from back in the Attitude Era, as it has the chance to be a potential show stealer.

Finally Stone Cold and Ken Kennedy will be looked at to feature quite some mat based wrestling and to bring out the best from both men.

PPV Buyrates:
Survivor Series-500,000
Armageddon-280,000
StarrCade-650,000
Royal Rumble-545,000

Smackdown Preview for February 10th:

Smackdown comes to you live from Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY. Tensions will be flying high as the feud between Randy Orton and Booker T continues. Plus, Theodore Long will be on hand to make an announcement concerning the US Championship and what will be done to rectify the situation. Smackdown will be up by tomorrow evening, and most likely will be in recapped form.

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

Smackdown for February 10th:
(Recapped Form)
Louisville, KY-Freedom Hall

We open the show with pyro and crowd signs and video. Theodore Long is in the ring and then welcomes the crowd. Long then proceeds to turn the viewer’s attention to the tron and see the highlights of last week’s main event. The video is shown. Long then goes back to the finish. Long then calls out Chris Jericho. Long then calls out Billy Kidman. Long then finally comes to a conclusion that both men hit and fell at the same time. Long then strips Kidman of the United States Championship. Long then says the title is vacant. However, both Chris Jericho and Billy Kidman will fight in a best of seven series with the winner becoming the Undisputed WWE United States Champion. Matter of fact, next week on Smackdown live from the Calgary Saddledome, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, match one will take place. Long then leaves the ring with the belt and both men going face to face with one another, as we cut backstage.

Backstage we see Victoria heading to the ramp. We see a graphic that shows Victoria vs. Michelle McCool. That match is up next.

*Commercials*

We’re back and Victoria and Michelle put on a great opening match, especially for the divas. Victoria picks up the victory after nailing the Widow’s Peak on Michelle and winning at 9:33, quite long for a diva’s match. Victoria turns around and is taken down by Jillian Hall. Jillian nails a swinging neckbreaker on Victoria. Jillian turns around and sees Melina with the Womens Championship on her shoulder up at the main entrance with the crowd looking on. We now know it will be Jillian vs. Victoria, this Sunday at Raw’s No Way Out, with Melina being at ringside for that match.

*We cut backstage and we see Shane McMahon. Shane McMahon tells Steve Romero, that next week his father will be in Calgary and will be delivering a huge announcement concerning WrestleMania 22. Shane then turns the subject to Petey Williams. Shane then says that Petey is going to see a side of him, he hasn’t seen before. Shane leaves as we cut to commercials*

We come back and now see Shane and Petey go the distance with both men not backing off at all. Petey counters Shane at almost every single move. Shane does the same. The match finally comes to an end as Shane is hit with the Canadian Destroyer by Williams. Williams makes the cover and gets the three count at the 13:25 mark.

Williams leaves as Shane slowly gets up and then leaves to a great ovation. We cut backstage to Christian who is saying that he is going to be the show stealer of WrestleMania. We then see Booker T who looks at Christian and smiles. Christian then plays to the crowd, putting over himself and claiming “That’s How I Roll!” Christian then leaves as we see Christian vs. Booker T is going to be next.

*Commercials*

Booker T and Christian put on a great match, with both men showing some good chemistry in the ring. Match comes to an end, with Christian picks up the surprise victory over Booker with the THIR at the 14:22 mark. Christian becomes estatic that he has won while Booker can’t believe it. All of a sudden Orton comes out and shows a video of Booker, in all his losing glory and tells him that it will happen once again at WrestleMania. Booker then gets up and stares down Orton as Christian is now backstage. We then cut to the back where Carlito is with Josh Matthews. Carlito says that he has heard that next week, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, and Juvented Guerrera will be facing off in a triple threat match, with the winner facing me at WrestleMania for my Television Championship. Well, that’s not cool, says Carlito. Carlito then leaves as we see a surprise come at the door. It’s Hulk Hogan! Hogan comes to the ramp and we’re going to hear from Hogan when we come back.

*Commercials*

Hogan goes on and on with the fans cheering him with everything he does. Towards the end of his promo, a video appears on the screen. In it, it says “The time is near for all things to be brought to light. Hogan, you did this. Not me. In two weeks, I will be making my appearance. Hogan, soon we will finish this. The video ends and Hogan has a stunned look on his face, as the crowd doesn’t know what is going on. We cut backstage to John Cena who rips all over the city, and then once again threatens Rock, by claiming after Triple H is finished with him, then the real hell will begin when he deals with Rock on his own. Cena then turns his attention to Orton and tonight’s main event. Cena then tells Orton, that his time is up and then leaves as we see Brock Lesnar preparing for his match against Kane which is up next.

*Commercials*

Brock and Kane put on an average match and both men stray away from a plain and dull big vs. big match. Both though hit their finishers, but it’s Brock who comes out at the end on top after nailing a devsating F-5 a second time on Kane. Brock gets the cover and W at the 11:32 mark.

We cut backstage and we hear that next week Juvented Guerrera will be facing Kid Kash. Psicosis wishes Guerrera luck, but after Psicosis leaves, Guerrera has a huge smirk on his face.

*Commercials*

*Raw Rebound is Shown*

*No Way Out rundown is shown*

We come back to the sold-out show, and our main event is upon us, with John Cena challenging Randy Orton. Solid match up with both men working a great mat based match. Finish comes with Orton going for the RKO, but Cena nailing the F-U on Orton and scoring the victory at the 15:00 mark. Cena then sees Booker T who is laughing at Orton and then Orton stares at Booker. Orton screams at Booker, “This is mine!” Booker stares at the WWE Championship as the show comes to a close and Booker has a huge grin on his face!

**Note** Yeah, I know it's been a little bit over a week and a half since I posted a show, but as we all know, that Life>Booking. No Way Out preview will be up within the next couple of days. No Way Out will be up by no later than March 25th. 1!

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

I'm liking the Orton/Booker Fued. This is a great thread. I don't like how a Divas match went almost 10 minutes. Can't wait for the Best of 7 Series for the US Title Next Week.

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

hey KOM, nice to see you back. Just a few coments, as it is a recap.

You booked Juvi in two matches for next week? Brave to have someone like him pulling double duty, in a cruiser match with Kash and also the TV title 3 way. Dunno if it's actually how it's supposed to go down, but strange choice, and Juvi seems to be turning heel, smiling when Psi walked off.

Other parts of the show were good, a Kane/Lesnar match on a weekly show is good, so we don't get some sluggish fight on PPV, Carlito will know a challenger for WM soon, looking forward to NWO.

Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21

No Way Out Preview-No Way Out-Presented by Raw and Subway! Live, Sunday, February 12th, 2006-Edmonton, Alberta, Canada-Skyreach Centre-8PM-11PM (ET) Theme Song: Red to Black by Fort Minor

World Heavyweight Championship:
Shawn Michaels v. Kurt Angle(c)

It's a feud that produced one of the greatest matches of all time at WrestleMania 21, last April. However in a series of two matches that seen both men win one of them, this is the most important of them all. The World Heavyweight Championship. Kurt Angle who won the title last month in San Juan, PR faces the Showstopper once again, in Canada, where Shawn will be jeered like crazy. However will that be enough to keep the Heartbreak Kid down and head to Mania still as the champion, or will HBK win the Heavyweight title for the fifth time in his wonderful career?

Intercontinental Championship:
Chris Benoit(c) v. Rob Van Dam

Benoit and RVD will hook up in front of Benoit's hometown fans in Edmonton. However both men who vary so differently in their matches, will it be enough for Benoit to once again write a storybook ending in his hometown (ala Backlash 2004), or will Mr. PPV show why he is the Whole F'n Show?

Triple H v. The Rock

There's no love loss between these two men. Their brawls throughout the attitude era were top notch. Both men have said that they will go the distance to defeat their opponent. However will that be enough. Who will be the last one standing? The Game or The People's Champion?

Stone Cold v. Ken Kennedy

This all started after Austin beat Kennedy on a match on Raw, and then proceeded to beat the crap out of him. Kennedy then asked for a match at No Way Out, in which was accepted, and the two men have been going at each other since then. Will the rattlesnake prevail or is this the time, for Mr. Kennnedy...Kennedy to shine?

Number 1 Contender's Match for the Womens' Championship:
Victoria v. Jillian Hall

A shot for the Womens' Championship at WrestleMania 22 hangs in the balance in this match. Victoria, a former Womens' Champion, has the advantage over Smackdown's Jillian Hall. However Jillian Hall also has some good credentials that will keep the former champion on her feet. Plus, with the Women's Champion, Melina being at ringside, what effect will that have on the two divas in the ring?

Unification of the European and Hardcore Championships:
Nova(c) v. Rhyno

In an announcement made by GM, Jonathan Carter, a tournament was designed on Raw, with the winner facing the Hardcore Champion, Nova, at No Way Out to unify the Hardcore and the restored European Championships. In the end, it was Rhyno who won the tournament. Following his victory, Nova brutally attacked the man beast. These two ECW alumni, will lock up once again. Will Nova be able to defeat the last ECW Champion, or will Rhyno gore his way to the European Championship?

World Tag Team Championships:
Shelton Benjamin/AJ Styles(c) v. The Naturals

In a rematch from StarrCade, these two teams will once again brawl for the gold. Since winning the belts back at StarrCade, Styles and Benjamin have been on a roll. Will that all come to an end at No Way Out? Tune in to see!

No Way Out will be a three hour event, and hopefully will be up by latest, Saturday, March 25th, 2006. 1![/CENTER]
