Re: WWE 2005: The Aftermath of WrestleMania 21
I've noticed that you have replied to quite a few of my shows lately, and felt it was only right to rate yours too. I'm not entirely sure that's going on though, with the shows, but I'll try and catch up.
Not sure how often you do these supershows, whether it was a one off, or a weekly or monthly thing, but I like the idea if it is done in moderation.
Mohammed Hassan promo was decent, but nothing groundbreaking. I could easily picture him saying it though, but for me, it was a little purposeless.
Glad to see Matt accepting the invitation, but I thought it would;ve been good to see him get on the mic, and get the fans really fired up, by having a pop at Hassan. I'm guessing Edge is feuding with Matt, which makes sense for him to screw Hardy over. 8/10.
Excellent JBL - HHH showdown. From this I gathered Triple H is the face, which is okay, as it;s hard to picture anyone liking JBL. Top notch promo. 10/10.
Was surprised to see Kidman facing Jericho. Perhaps you are already pushing Kidman, which is fine. It's nice to see Kidman get a match with a main eventer. Excellent action too. 9/10.
Nice confrontation between the General Managers, and the Batista - Cena showdown was good too. Batista came across as a heel here, not sure whether he is or not, but that is how he seemed to this 1st time reader. 8/10.
Trish and Francine cheat to win. Basic stuff, but nothing wrong with it either. 7/10.
Nothing really to the E&C meeting, with both just chatting. 5/10.
Carlito vs Christian...das cool. Liked Captain Charisma spitting the apple at Carlito. This could make an excellent feud, with some awesome promo's in there too. 10/10.
Kane beats Shane. I'm not sure what the current saga is with them, but that would look to be the end of it here imo, with a clean win for the Big Red Monster. 8/10.
Whoa. CW are getting a heck of a push here, and I like it. Kidman and Mysterio attacking Cena and Booker. Didnt see that coming, but then again, its the first show I've read in this thread. 9/10.
The main event was going real well until RVD ran in. Like somone else here picked up, there was just too many in the show to make them all seem special. One too many with this one. Batista retains, which I expected. 6/10.
For my first read, this thread has potential. It wasnt flawless, with too many run in's imo, but some decent feuds too (Carlito - Christian, and JBL - HHH, as well as Champion vs Champion)
Score: 80/100, rated by each segment.
I'll try and get caught up with all the action going on in this thread, as it looks to be headed in the right direction.
