Excellent promo Mac! Man, that was excellent, and that was one of the best promos that I have seen from Flair in BTB. Flair put over Batista in a great way, and added even more hype to the match. Kennedy and Batista also was really good in this segment. However I must say that Flair was the one who really made this segement work!

Before I continue, I notice you have Styles and Tazz calling Smackdown. Kind of odd to see two ECW alumni calling a WWE show, but Styles and Tazz are both great announcers. As far as the opening match, it was really good, and was given some decent amount of time. Great psychology told in the match as well. Sabin getting the win was huge, as I thought Kash would get the win.

Hunter's promo was really good in hyping up SNME huge Main Event, and also getting heat on himself from the crowd. What a huge announcement! Hunter v. Rock at Mania in a No Holds Barred Match! I was going to ask before I read that announcement, will there be more matches added for Mania, since there is only six matches announced, and will Money in the Bank III return at Mania?

Good tag match here man. The match was kept at a fast pace, which it should have been anyway, being the four that are involved in the match. Daniels and Allison Danger coming out and attacking Chavo was good, yet expected, as it adds onto the feud between Chavo and Daniels. Chavo looks like he is going to win the title at SNME, because I would be shocked if Daniels wins at SNME. As far as Cena's promo goes, I'm assuming you have Cena in a tweener role, and his character is somewhat a mix of his rap gimmick and current gimmick. Looking forward to his segment at SNME.

Surprised to see Finlay and Regal not get at least ten minutes for their match, but the match was good. Hopefully these two continue their feud. As for Lashley entering the ring and spearing Finlay, it looks like their feud will continue for Lashley's US Championship.

Excellent promo from Chavo and Daniels. I must say, that so far the promos for tonight have been on the money. Both men were in character, and both made their upcoming match seem even more important, which is already is as it is Title vs. Career.

King Booker winning the match was good, as it puts some more heat on him and Queen Sharmell. Would've had Regal come to the ring and cause Lashley the match, but this was good. Shelton and Helms as a tag team. I think that is a first here in BTB. It's good to see two great wrestlers get a push in this thread. Good promo with them and Steph. I have a feeling that Helms and Shelton are going to beat The Hardys and then get a possible title match with The Hooliganz at Mania.

Not surprised to see the match end in a DQ. However I must say that the ending of the show was great, as it puts over the Huge Main Event for SNME!

FINAL Card for Saturday Night’s Main Event:
Date: March 10th, 2007

Evolution Reunites For One Night Only: Eight Man Tag Team Match:

Singles Match:

A bit late but thought i would leave you review since haven't done so for while

Smackdown Review

Great way to start the show with a promo hyping the main event for Wrestlemania and i am liking Flair as manager of Batista as it gives him a bit of character and keeps a big feud like this exciting. Flair was top notch in this promo hyping up Tista on the mic. Ken Kennedy as a face would be very interesting to see in real life, cause as a face i think he could be right up there with John Cena but i am a Kennedy mark so whatever. Good confidence shown by Kennedy and good ending to the promo but one thing...Where did Tista get the pie from? (Seriously i'm with Legend you need to clear up what pie faced is to us British folks).

Nice Cruiserweight match but i am not a big fan of the push you have for Sabin. Even though he is in the CW division he faced John friggin Cena at No Way Out, bit too much for a push like him who in real life can't even get on Impact most of the time.

Triple H v Rock IN No Holds Barred at Wrestlemania=Fuckin Awesome! Good promo by Hunter and he has made the challenge and expect to see Rock accept the challenge at SNME.

Two matches which involve Cruiserweights show how strong your division is. Great match and i am liking the team of Benjamin and Helms, and even though if i am correct they just recently lost their belts (Not too sure on that) i would love to see them regain the straps in the future. Chavo v Daniels is going to be a hard one to predict as Daniels is likely the future of the CW division in this thread, while Chavo is still doing good and i don't seem him retiring.

Great promo here involving Cena and it is great to see him being used as a heel as he was awesome back in 2003, and his attitude and promos are much better like this. Will be interesting to see what happens when Cena calls out Taker, expecting Taker to most likely play some sort of mind games with Cena.

Finlay v Regal will always prove to be a great match and this was no different. Finlay goes over the champ clean and we get some bit of action in the aftermath with Lashley spearing Finlay. Am expecting that there will be some sort of US Title match at the ppv most possibley a fatal 4 way.

Whoa never see a CW Title match getting as much build up as this with two segments in one night. Daniels was good in his heel persona in this promo. Daniels and Danger come through the crowd but their attack backfires on them thanks to Rey and Chavo. Not many times you look forward to seeing a CW Title match in BTB but if there was one it would be this, great booking for it.

Harsh words by Booker on Regal there looks like that they could split their little union soon. Decent match which would of been overshadowed by the other matches on this card as it was quite a packed one. Lashley dominates but Booker wins in true heel style thanks to Sharmell.

Nice promo there with Benjamin and Haas and good to see them get some good mic exsposure and once again hopefully they regain their belts soon.

Good preview match for the big one at SNME. Looks like Henry and Kane are going to get the win when Big Dave causes the DQ. Fantastic aftermath with Kennedy, Edge and HBK coming down to beat on Evolution and loved the Flair flop part.

Overall was a fantastic show with a great mix of good matches and promos and SNME looks to be a hell of a show looking at it's card.

Much thanks for the reviews. "Pie-facing" someone is to basically take your hand and shove it into their face, pushing it backward - no different than as if you did with a pie. American slang, I guess.

Yes, Legend, that's the second time I used that particular WrestleMania Recall. I use the same for Raw and SmackDown!, but that will change come after Saturday Night's Main Event.

As for the rest of the Mania card, KOM, you'll have to wait and see.

SNME, Monday.

Mac, I looked back at the earlier stages of your thread, and you've come far with it. From "humble" beginnings, to quitting, to revamping, and now, you represent the elite here. Good for you bro, as the thread is currently in such top form, really is. Glad I came in when I did, and was able to pick up reading at the height of your talents. Anyway, enough boosting your ego already. I’ll be reading Smackdown, which I am sure is great. I may get a review up for it this weekend, but if not, SNME will get a full review for sure, and I will have read Smackdown, and will likely leave comments about it along with my SNME thoughts. Should be a fun read, as it’s the final stop before Mania. Good luck on Mania too bro, and rest assured, it will be one the best PPV’s ever on WF. You know, Wolfy’s - Mine - Yours ... ...

Evolution Reunites For One Night Only: Eight Man Tag Team Match:
World Champ Batista, WWE Champ Randy Orton, Triple H, & Ric Flair
vs. Edge, Mr. Kennedy, Shawn Michaels, & The RETURNING Rock

Despite any hard feelings, Evolution wins. At least Big Dave and Triple H will lose at Mania, so I see them winning at SNME. Batista just has to, and it would add more steam to Rock losing in his comeback, and then really wanting to beat Hunter's ass. Flair needs a nice win, and Orton may be the only guy with two big wins in his future, at SNME, and at Mania.

Intercontinental Championship Match:
Carlito vs. Rob Van Dam

Carlito wins, as the JBL feud began with him, and should end with him. Not to mention, JBL is winning at Mania, and i can't see the belt switching twice in two weeks. RVD=MITB.

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Title vs. Career:
Christopher Daniels vs. Chavo Guerrero

A bit obvious really. Hope Rey "earns" Chavo's career back. I'd hate to actually see him gone forever over this angle. One of my favorite angles right now BTW, Daniels vs. Rey.

Singles Match:
Victoria vs. Trish Stratus

Not sure at all, and somehow, I have no idea what's going on in your Women's division.

Tag Team Match:
King Booker & U.S. Champ William Regal vs. Finlay & Bobby Lashley

Finlay only just turned, Lashley is picking up steam, and Regal/King will be splitting as well soon. All the making for a win from the odd couple.

Inter-promotional Match:
Umaga vs. Kane

No contest. Please. I want Umaga and Show to win at Mania, but don't want Umaga to lose here, and thus, I'm thinking double dq, with the other monsters rearing their ugly heads.
