I reviewed Great American Bash? Check. I reviewed Summerslam? Check. I reviewed Unforgiven? Holy shit, I didn't. However, I still owe you that review you wrote up for GCW, and well, I reviewed two of your PPVs thus far, might as well make it three. I'll try my best to assure you a review once it's up. Don't hold it against me though, lol.

Tony Chimel:

Joey Styles:
Our WWE Tag Team Champions, London and Kendrick, have struggled against Benjamin and Helms in non-title matches.

Tazz:
They have got to wrestle their pace. That high-flyin’, devil may care style that they utilize so well is what they must do tonight if they want to keep those titles.

Match #1
WWE Tag Team Championship
Shelton Benjamin & Gregory Helms vs. The Hooligans (w/Ashley)

Paul London and Brian Kendrick take off their belts and hand the WWE Tag Team Titles to the referee. The ref hands the belts to the timekeeper and they get set aside. After several seconds of deciding who’s going to start the match, London and Helms both go onto the apron, leaving Benjamin and Kendrick as the legal men on the inside of the ring. The referee calls for the bell and the first match up of No Mercy is finally underway.

The two men move towards each other in the center of the ring and Kendrick quickly takes control, grabbing a hold of a side headlock. Shelton will have none of it in the early going, backing him into the ropes before shooting him off into the opposite direction. Kendrick comes back and slides between the legs of Benjamin! He gets back up but Shelton quickly turns around and scoops him up for a body slam!

Kendrick slides out of it and lands behind Benji! Kendrick then grabs a hold of Benjamin and pushes him into the ropes, before rolling backward attempting a roll up. Shelton holds onto the top rope causing Kendrick to roll by himself, before getting back up to his feet! Shelton turns around and charges at Kendrick but Kendrick leap frogs over the top of him and keeps running. He comes back and Benjamin catches him with a perfect hip toss. Shelton goes over to lift him up but Kendrick uses his feet to shove him off and to the mat.

Both men get up to their feet and Kendrick kicks Shelton in the gut, before grabbing the back of his head, bringing him towards the corner and slamming his head into the turnbuckle. He brings his hand up and tags in his tag team partner Paul London, whom receives a good pop from the sold out Green Bay audience. London climbs the turnbuckle and gets set before leaping off the top with a beautiful cross body!! The cover, first one of the match up! 1... 2... Benjamin kicks out, barely avoiding the early loss.

London grabs Shelton by the arm and tags in Kendrick, whom re-enters the match. London and Kendrick bring Benjamin towards the middle of the ropes, each grabbing a hand before shooting him off. Shelton comes back and they both leap up, hitting a double dropkick!! London leaves the ring as Kendrick crawls over, getting a lateral press over his downed opponent!

Gregory Helms enters the ring and breaks it up!!!

The referee tells Helms to get out of the ring and he obliges. Kendrick goes over to his corner and tags in London. Due to the extra respite, Benjamin kips up, leaping back up to his feet!! He quickly tags in Helms whom enters the ring for the first time in this whole match. Helms kicks the London in the gut and the former “Hurricane” goes on the attack.

He grabs London by the hand and attempts the Irish whip but London counters and shoots Helms into the ropes. He comes back and hits London with a shoulder block taking him down. Helms looks to the crowd, impressed with his own maneuver as Benjamin claps on the apron. Helms bounces off the ropes and London slides onto his belly, causing Helms to leap over him. Helms runs the ropes once more and London gets to his feet and catches him with a drop toe hold. Helms face slaps the mat hard after the simple yet effective maneuver.

London lifts Helms up and backs him into his corner, before tagging Brian Kendrick back into the match up. Kendrick enters the ring and quickly goes on the offensive, immediately grabbing the hand of Helms and shooting him off of the ropes. Kendrick comes back and Helms scoops him up but is unsuccessful as Brian lands behind him. Helms turns around and Kendrick drills him in the face with a hard dropkick! He gets down and goes for the cover. 1... 2... NO!

Helms kicks out relatively easy. Kendrick bounces off of the ropes as Helms gets back up to his feet. Helms sees him coming and gets set … but it may be too early as Kendrick leaps right over him. “Spanky” bounces off of the ropes once more and goes for a clothesline but Helms ducks, goes behind and hit’s a hard back suplex!! Helms gets back up to his feet and tags his partner Shelton Benjamin back into the ring. Benjamin gets back in and hits him with a hard right, attempting to maintain his team’s advantage.

He grabs Kendrick’s hand and attempts the Irish whip but Kendrick counters and sends Shelton into the ropes. When Benjamin comes back, Kendrick attempts a leap frog but Benjamin manages to get under him and hit a Samoan Drop with tremendous force!! Some of the crowd applaud Benjamin’s impressive maneuver as Shelton goes over to his corner and tags in Helms.

The former “longest running Cruiserweight Champion in WWE history” re-enters the ring and lifts Kendrick back up to his feet. He grabs him by the hand and shoots him off of the ropes but as soon as he hits them, Benjamin catches him with a stiff knee to the back!! The crowd boos Benjamin’s shortcut and London enters the ring, going after Shelton but the referee stops him and tells him to get back to his corner. The referee and London argue for a bit before London begrudgingly goes back to his corner.

Helms lifts Kendrick back up to his feet and shoots him off of the ropes. He comes back and Helms takes him up and over with a back body drop! Helms lifts Kendrick back up and applies a front face lock before bringing Kendrick back over to the corner and tagging in Benjamin.

Joey Styles and Tazz put over the cohesiveness of the challengers for the tag titles as Benjamin prepares to go on the offense. With Kendrick still in the front face lock, Benjamin takes a clean shot, hitting him square in the ribcage. Helms breaks the hold and leaves the ring, per the ref’s instructions. Benji lifts the chin of Kendrick up before hitting him with another shot to the gut, apparently working on the abdomen of his opponent. He scoops Kendrick up and plants him with a body slam, before quickly bouncing off of the ropes. Benjamin then leaps up and drops a leg drop over the throat of Kendrick. Shelton lifts him back up to his feet, backing him into the corner. He then grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the corner with tremendous speed, causing him to smack the turnbuckle before falling to the mat in pain.

Shelton takes his time walking over to his corner and tagging Helms back in, continuing the trend of frequent tags between the ‘well-oiled’ unit. Helms re-enters the ring and grabs Kendrick before shooting him into the corner. Suddenly, Kendrick begins fighting like a wild man, hitting Helms with a couple of punches before turning to hit Benjamin with a couple of punches on the apron.

Helms cuts him off, kicking him in the gut and then tagging Benjamin back into the match. Benjamin moves Kendrick towards the middle of the ropes and shoots him off. Shelton gets set too early and Kendrick get him in a sunset flip! 1... 2... NO! Benjamin kicks out of the desperate pin attempt! Shelton lifts him up but ‘Spanky’ fights back, hitting him with a hard forearm shot … and another. He then shoots off the ropes but Benjamin catches him with a quick belly to belly suplex!! He then crawls over for the cover.

Kendrick continues to struggle for survival!

Benjamin stays focused and lifts him back up to his feet, backing him up into the corner. Shelton goes on the attack, hitting Kendrick with hard rights hands and stomps in the corner. He then grabs him by the hand and attempts the Irish whip but Kendrick counters and shoots Benjamin into the corner. Kendrick charges in but Shelton gets his feet up, drilling Kendrick so hard it takes him down! Benjamin turns around and climbs up to the top turnbuckle before leaping off, GOING FOR A MOONSAULT … BUT KENDRICK MOVES AND SHELTON CRASHES AND BURNS!!! The crowd cheers as both men lie on the canvas, worn out. Benjamin struggles back up to his feet but Kendrick begins to make his way towards his corner and … MAKES THE TAG TO PAUL LONDON!!

London enters the ring like a house of fire, hitting Shelton with quick stiff forearms to the face, before shooting him off of the ropes. He comes back and London leaps up and hits him with a dropkick to the face!! He then goes over to the corner and nails Helms with a shot to the face. London then lifts Benjamin back up to his feet, grabs him by the hand and shoots him off of the ropes once more. He jumps up and takes Benji down with a huracanrana!!! He then reaches back and grabs the legs of Benjamin for the cover!

Shelton shows his resilience, much to the disappointment of London, Kendrick, Ashley and many fans. London soon refocuses and lifts Shelton up to his feet, dragging him over to the corner and smashing his face against the turnbuckle! He then grabs him by the hand and attempts the Irish whip but this time Benjamin counters and sends London into the corner. Shelton charges in and goes for the Stinger/Shelton Splash but London moves and Benjamin’s chest smashes into the top turnbuckle!! London comes from up behind and gets him in a schoolboy!!

London then adjusts himself and gets reset on the top turnbuckle but Shelton gets up to his feet, runs towards the corner AND LEAPS TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!!!! Benjamin then takes him off of the top with a SUPERPLEX!!! The crowd stands and applauds because they may not like Benjamin they can appreciate his incredible athleticism. Shelton crawls over and gets a hand across the chest of London, hoping to pick up the victory after that phenomenal move.

Benjamin struggles back up to a vertical base, looking a bit unsteady as he gets back on his feet. He goes over to his corner and tags in Gregory Helms. Helms enters the ring but stays in the corner, waiting for London to begin to show any sign of movement. Helms begins to bounce a bit as London makes it up to his hands and knees. Helms charges out of the corner … GOING FOR THE SHINING WIZARD … BUT LONDON DUCKS, GETS UP AND HIT’S A DROPSAULT!!!! The crowd pops as London gets in a desperation move and now lays on the canvas, hoping that he can make it back to his corner to tag in his tag team partner. London crawls over and attempts to make the tag to Kendrick but Helms grabs his foot!! He then smiles as he has London right where he wants him. He attempts to drag him back towards his corner but London lunges forward and … MAKES THE TAG TO KENDRICK!!!

Kendrick enters the ring and lets loose on Helms with a couple of hard forearms shots to the face. He then shoots him off of the ropes and when Helms comes back, Kendrick gets set … but its too early and Helms catches him, lifts him up and drops him with a perfect vertical suplex!! The crowd pops as The Hooligans pick up the victory, their first win over the combination of Helms and Benjamin. The referee checks on Helms, who is clutching his leg in the middle of the ring. London and Kendrick walk up the ramp with their tag team titles.

Joey Styles:
What a way to kick off this night!! A hell of a tag team match!

Tazz:
Four guys! Two teams giving us one hell of a match up to kick off No Mercy. What a night this is gonna be!

Joey Styles:
Paul London and Brian Kendrick retain the tag team titles and finally picks up a win over the team of Benjamin and Helms.

Tazz:
It took them a while but they finally did it.

******************************
We cut to a shot of Batista entering the arena, dressed in an expensive suit and shades. He looks confident on the day of his big World Heavyweight Title match as the crowd is heard booing in the background. Several backstage workers quickly scurry out of his way as he makes his way down the hallway, walking tall. Batista enters his locker room as we cut back to ringside.
*****************************

Joey Styles:
I can not wait. Batista, Angle II here tonight. Its gonna be huge.

Tazz:
Its gonna be a damn explosion.

Joey Styles:
An explosion indeed, just like our next match up. Kane versus Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship.

Tazz:
These two huge behemoths going at it for that prestigious belt. This one sho… OH!!!!!

***HUGE EXPLOSION***

“Slow Chemical” hits to a great pop as the (strangely IMO) popular United States Champion Kane makes his way down to the ring. ‘The Big Red Machine’ slowly enters the ring, title over his shoulder before setting off his pyro.

Tony Chimel:
The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP!! Introducing first, weighing in at 318 pounds, the United States Champion, “The Big Red Machine” KAAAAANNE!!!

Joey Styles:
One of the most dominant superstars on the WWE Roster, Kane is always someone to fear but is he ready to go head up with Bobby Lashley.

Tazz:
Lashley is the real deal but Kane has been crushing bodies in this company for a long time my man.

“Soldier” hits to a pretty good pop, though Kane’s was significantly louder. “The Real Deal” Bobby Lashley steps onto the stage area and sets off his pyro before continuing down to the ring, focused as always.

Tony Chimel:
And introducing the challenger, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, weighing in at 273 pounds, “The Real Deal” BOBBY LASHLEEEYYY!!!

Joey Styles:
Strong. Young. Explosive. Just three adjectives used to describe one of the fastest rising stars in the WWE.

Tazz:
Bobby Lashley is definitely the future of this business but he can take a huge step by defeating Kane here tonight.

Match #2
Kane(c) vs. Bobby Lashley
United States Championship

The referee takes the United States Title and raises it above his head, showing it to the crowd (and the hard camera). He then hands the title belt to the timekeeper and rings the bell, getting this U.S. Title match underway. Kane and Lashley move towards the center of the ring and have a brief stare down. The two huge men try to psyche each other out a bit with tough looks as the crowd is buzzing, wanting to see the two men go at it.

Kane is the first to attack, taking a swing with his huge right hand, attempting to catch Lashley sleeping. He hits him hard and then follows up with a couple of more hard rights, knocking him back. He grabs him by the hand and shoots him off of the ring ropes. Kane gets set too early and Lashley makes him pay, kicking him hard in the head, stunning him quite a bit. Lashley bounces off of the ropes and takes him down with a hard shoulder tackle!

After finally managing to get the big man off of his feet, Lashley stays on the attack, lifting Kane up and hitting the monster with a couple of hard right hands. Kane fires back with one of his own and then Lashley retaliates. The two huge men exchange huge right hands until The Big Red Machine gains the advantage, managing to string together a couple of shots. Kane rears back and attempts a huge right hand, but Lashley ducks it and goes behind. Kane turns around and Lashley scoops him up before slamming him down to the canvas with a body slam!

The crowd pops as Lashley poses impressed with his show of strength. That all soon stops as Kane gets up relatively quickly. Lashley attempts to strike but Kane blocks it and fires off a couple of hard rights, knocking Lashley back. He grabs him by the hand and shoots him off of the ropes. Lashley comes back and Kane takes him down with a hard back elbow!

Lashley makes it back up to his, using the ropes to get up in the corner but Kane follows him in and goes on the attack. He kicks Lashley in the gut before following up with a hard right to the face, rocking Lashley in the corner. He grabs him by the hand and shoots Lashley into the opposite corner with an incredible amount of force. Lashley hit’s the turnbuckle and bounces out only to be taken down by a huge boot from Kane! Lashley struggles up to his feet as Kane wait on him, right hand raised in the air.

He makes it all the way up and Kane clutches him around the throat … GOING FOR THE CHOKESLAM … BUT LASHLEY FIGHTS OUT OF IT, hitting the United States Champion with hard back elbows. Eventually the grasp of Kane breaks and Lashley bounces off of the ropes. He comes back and The Big Red Machine attempts to take him down with a hard clothesline but Lashley ducks the contact! Kane turns around and Lashley grips him around the waits before popping his hips and taking him over with a strong belly to belly suplex!! Lashley goes for the cover, the first pin fall attempt of the match up.

Kane kicks out!

Lashley shows a bit of frustration, delivering a stomp to the chest of Kane. He lifts him up to his feet and delivers a couple of hard forearm shivers to his face but Kane begins to fight back, firing off a right hand. He hit’s a couple of more but Bobby cuts him off, cutting off his momentum with a kick to the gut. Lashley grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the corner. Kane hit’s the turnbuckle and the impact sends him back towards the center of the ring. Lashley kicks him in the gut and then takes him up & over with a vertical suplex!! Lashley goes for the cover once more. 1... 2... NO!

Kane kicks out once more. Lashley decides to wear Kane down a bit more, locking in a front face lock, showing off his amateur wrestling experience. A slight “Kane” chant rings in the distance as the U.S. Champion begins to make it back up to a vertical base. Lashley sees Kane may be attempting to make a comeback so he delivers a hard knee to his gut. He then attempts to lift him up with a suplex but Kane blocks it! Lashley tries once more but once again, Kane shows his resilience and blocks it. Kane then counters the move and lifts Lashley up before dropping him with a vertical suplex of his own.

Both dominant wrestlers lie on the ground, trying to regain themselves as the referee begins his ten count. At the count of five, both Kane and Lashley make it back up to their feet and Lashley is the first to strike, kicking him in the gut before following it up with an explosive right hand … and one more … and another. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Lashley is on a roll. He shoots off of the ropes and charges at Kane but The Big Red Machine is ready, he lifts Lashley up before slamming him down with a sidewalk slam!

Both men get up rather gingerly but Kane is just a little bit quicker at this point. He’s also the first to attack, hitting Lashley with a couple of right hands before grabbing him and shooting him off of the ropes. Lashley comes back and Kane attempts a clothesline but Lashley ducks before bouncing off the ropes once more. He comes back, Kane goes for another clothesline, but Lashley ducks it, bounces off the ropes once more AND TAKES KANE DOWN WITH A HUGE SPEAR!!! The crowd pops as Lashley hits his finishing maneuver. He takes a second to regain himself before crawling over and covering Kane, hoping for the title win to come here and now!

KANE KICKS OUT, BARELY MANAGING TO RETAIN HIS TITLE … FOR NOW.

Lashley looks at the referee in shock, flabbergasted that Kane managed to kick out of the spear. Ref responds by telling him that it was only two and the match continues. Lashley backs up into a corner and gets set possibly waiting to hit another Spear, to put the match away. Kane slowly begins to move, clearly still in pain after taking a huge impact on that last move. He finally makes it up to a vertical base and Lashley CHARGES … LOOKING FOR THE SPEAR ... BUT KANE MOVES, AVOIDING CONTACT … AND LASHLEY SLAMS HIS SHOULDER INTO THE TURNPOST!!! The ‘smack’ Lashley’s shoulder makes when hitting the steel is sickening and he seems to be in severe pain.

Kane waits for him to turn around before blasting him in the face with a hard right hand. Lashley retaliates and then Kane fires back. The two men exchange fists until Lashley goes down stares hitting him in the gut with a knee. He then grabs Kane by the hand and attempts to shoot him into the ropes but Kane counters the Irish whip and sends Lashley into the ropes. He comes back and Kane takes him down with a boot to the face! The crowd pops as Kane waits on Lashley to get up and once he does the United States Champion takes him down with another clothesline!

Lashley gets up once more, only to be taken down by another strong lariat from Kane, who is now in complete control. The momentum continues to swing in the champion’s favor as Lashley gets up and is met by the boot of Kane. He grabs Lashley by the hand and shoots him off of the ropes. Lashley comes back and Kane lifts him up & over with a back body drop!

Lashley clutches his back in pain as he slowly crawls towards the corner, using the ropes to pull himself up. Kane charges in and hits him with a hard clothesline, squashing him in the corner. He then grabs Lashley by the hand and shoots him into the opposite corner with authority. Lashley bounces back towards the center of the ring and Kane lifts him up onto his shoulder before SLAMMING HIM TO THE CANVAS WITH A POWER SLAM!! LATERAL PRESS!

Kane shows a bit of frustration as he isn’t able to put the challenger away. He gets up to his feet and Lashley does the same, though a bit slowly. Kane grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the corner. He charges in but Lashley manages to get his feet up and into his face. Bobby Lashley charges out of the corner but Kane lifts him up and onto his shoulder … LOOKING FOR THE TOMBSTONE … BUT LASHLEY COUNTERS, kicking his legs for momentum, before sliding down the back of The Big Red Machine!

Lashley then shoots off the ropes but Kane quickly turns around … AND GRABS HIM AROUND THE THROAT!!!! The crowd pops as Kane lifts him up AND GIVES HIM A CHOKESLAM FROM HELL!!!! The crowd pops as Lashley rolls away a bit but Kane grabs him and goes for the cover, match up in hand!

LASHLEY GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!!

Lashley shows great ring presence and the crowd is shocked as is Kane. Kane looks to be getting angry but that look turns into one of happiness as he begins smiling. He stands up and looks at the crowd before giving the throat slash, receiving a great pop. Lashley slowly gets up to his feet, using the ropes to pull himself up. He turns around and Kane lifts him up, LOOKING FOR THE TOMBSTONE ONCE MORE … but once again Lashley fights out of it!!! This time Lashley completely reverses the move, switching position with Kane with him now on his shoulder!!! He then backs up BEFORE CHARGING AHEAD AND DRILLING A RUNNING POWER SLAM!!!! A mixed reaction is heard as Lashley covers, hooking the outside leg!!!

KANE KICKS OUT ONCE MORE!!

The crowd pops as the match continues on. Lashley seems frustrated but almost too worn out from the grueling match to complain. He gets back up to his feet and seems to get refocused, bouncing up and down, waiting for Kane to make it back up to his feet. Tired of waiting, Lashley lifts him up to his feet and sticks him between his legs, perhaps going for The Dominator!! He attempts to lift Kane up but The Big Red Machine fights it. He soon gets out from in between his legs and begins hitting Lashley with right hands. He goes for a left kick to the gut but Lashley blocks it … but Kane jumps up and hits an enziguri!!! Lashley gets dropped like a bad habit and Kane gets back up to his feet, before making his way onto the ring apron.

He climbs the turnbuckle and gets set on top, waiting for Bobby Lashley to get back up to his feet after being knocked silly by that hard enziguri. Kane waits perched, as Lashley slowly but surely gets up. Kane LEAPS OFF THE TOP … BUT LASHLEY CATCHES HIM ON THE WAY DOWN … he locks his hands, pops the hips and hit’s a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!! The crowd pops, impressed with Lashley’s feat. He quickly gets back up to his feet and backs into a corner, waiting for Kane to get back up to a vertical base. Kane gingerly gets up and Lashley CHARGES AHEAD … AND HIT’S THE SPEAR!!!! He thinks about going for the cover but instead lifts Kane back up to his feet and sticks him between his legs. He gets set and lifts Kane onto his shoulder, BEFORE SLAMMING HIM BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS WITH THE DOMINATOR!!!! He crawls over and makes the cover, hooking the far leg after hitting Kane with three monster moves in a row!!

Winner: and … NEW United States Champion Bobby Lashley via pin fall at 10:17.

The referee raises the hand of the new champion, Lashley, before grabbing the United States Championship from ringside and handing it to him. Lashley celebrates with the title after a hard fought victory, pretty much establishing himself as one of the most dominant wrestlers in the federation.

Joey Styles:
Wow! The new U.S. Champion Bobby Lashley with a HUGE victory over Kane!

Tazz:
Understatement of the year Styles! That was one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in a long time. Lashley, just picked Kane up like a cruiserweight and drove him into the canvas with that Dominator!

Joey Styles:
Can anyone stop the United States Champion?!

***An advertisement for wweshopzone.com plays but then we soon cut to the locker room of King Booker, Finlay, Sir William Regal and Queen Sharmell***

King Booker:
Tonight is the night. Tonight is the night that King Bookah vanquishes The Rock out of the SmackDown! Kingdom and sends him back to Hollywood.

Sharmell adjusts Booker’s crown.

William Regal:
Absolutely my king. Soon enough The Rock will learn to hail King Booker! They all will hail King Booker!

Booker continues as Finlay pays them no mind, putting on his knee pads in a corner.

King Booker:
I mean who in the hell does that rogue think he is?! He comes into my kingdom and acts like he runs the place. What has The Rock ever done? Did The Rock win the 2006 King of the Ring?

Sharmell and Regal both reply with “no”.

King Booker:
Did The Rock vanquish both The Undertaker and Lashley at SummerSlam?

Once again, both Regal and Sharmell say “no”.

King Booker:
And we all know that The Rock is not a five time, five time, five time, five time, FIVE TIME WCW Cham…

Finlay:
(To himself)
Alright, we get it.

The other three soon turn their attention towards Finlay, miffed by his sudden comment.

King Booker:
Did you say something Sir Finlay?

Finlay looks up at Booker.

Finlay:
Finlay. Not Sir Finlay. Not Lord Finlay. Not Mr. Finlay. Just Finlay. Got it?

Booker keeps a smile on his face, trying to keep the rapport between himself and Finlay good.

Finlay:
And what I said was “we got it”. You should be less worried with talking and more worried about how you’re gonna beat The Rock tonight. You better have a strategy in mind because you haven’t faired too well against Rock lately.

King Booker:
(Getting upset; Forcing him to drop the accent)
How I’m gonna beat The Rock? I’m King Bookah! Ima bust him punk ass up and take his ass out! That’s how I’m gonna beat The Rock! Ya dig what I’m saying?!

Finlay:
Yeah, you do that.

King Booker:
I will do that. Don’t worry about me, aight. You better be ready for Triple H because I got The Rock on lock.

Finlay lets out a gap-toothed smirk.

Finlay:
I’ll take care of Triple H because my name is Finlay …

Finlay puts his shillelagh right in Regal’s face. Sir William swallows hard () as Finlay continues.

Finlay:
… and I’m gonna knock Triple H’s head off.

He then turns and leaves the locker room as Regal looks a bit shaken and King Booker talks to Queen Sharmell, who seems to be reassuring him of something. We cut back to the ringside area.

Joey Styles:
A little bit of pre-match tension in that locker room.

Tazz:
Well you know the intensity is high tonight. Big night tonight Styles. What do you expect? King Booker and Finlay will get it together by show time. Trust me.

***OH YEAAAAA***

“Live For The Moment” hits to a loud level of heat as Matt Hardy makes his way from the back, onto the stage. Hardy snatches his arm away from fans who want to touch a star as he makes his way down to the ring.

Tony Chimel:
The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Raleigh, North Carolina, weighing in at 233 pounds, MATT HARDYYYY!!!

Joey Styles:
When you talk about selfish, when you talk about greed and when you talk about someone who is completely ungrateful, Matt Hardy is the first person who pops to mind. His friend, Rey Mysterio, saves him from The Big Show at The Great American Bash and Hardy returns the favor by bitching and moaning about not getting a match. And not only that, he attacks him from behind. Give me a break!!

Tazz:
Watch your language Styles. Hardy’s got a point though. Rey did…

Joey Styles:
WHAT?!

Tazz:
No. No. He did. Mysterio could have given Hardy a SummerSlam match against The Big Show but Rey wanted it for himself and lost. Maybe Rey is the one who’s selfish. I don’t know.

“Booyaka 619” hits to a great ovation as Rey Mysterio shoots from under the stage. He seems more focused than usual, not playing to the fans, instead, immediately making his way down to the ring.

Tony Chimel:
And his opponent, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 185 pounds, REY MYSTERIIIIOOOOO!!!

Joey Styles:
And the crowd goes wild for Rey Mysterio!

Tazz:
Rey looks ready man. I can’t wait to see this one. This is personal.

Joey Styles:
Former friends going one on one. Your damn right its personal!

Match #3
Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio
Grudge Match

Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy meet in the center of the ring, with the two former friends exchanging heated words with one another. Hardy is the first to strike, hitting Mysterio with a hard right hand, which is immediately reciprocated by Rey, hitting Matt with a shot of his own. Mysterio begins to gain the advantage, hitting Hardy with everything he’s got, backing Matt into the corner with punches.

Hardy fires back, hitting Mysterio with a quick knee to the gut, trying to cut off his momentum. He then continues the attack, hitting Mysterio with another right hand, and then another, and one more, backing Rey up to the ropes. Hardy then grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the ring ropes. He gets set too early and Rey makes him pay, kicking him stiffly in the face!

The crowd pops as Hardy stumbles backwards, stunned from the stiff kick from Mysterio. Shockingly, Rey doesn’t go after him, instead waving Hardy in! Matt obliges, charging after Rey but Mysterio utilizes a drop toe hold, causing Hardy to get caught up on the middle rope! The crowd pops as Mysterio signals for his signature move, the 619!! Rey bounces off the ropes but Hardy quickly recovers, getting off of the ropes and rolling to the outside of the ring, attempting to take a breather.

Rey attempts to stay on the inside of the ring but decides that he has had enough, following Hardy to the outside. Matt walks around the outside as Mysterio follows and the referee begins his ten count. Rey grabs Hardy but Matt hits him with a elbow to the gut, apparently playing possum. He then quickly grabs Mysterio by the back of the head and flings him into the ring steps shoulder first!! The crowd groans as Hardy lifts Mysterio up and slams his face onto the steel steps!

Matt then rolls into the ring to break up the ten count before quickly rolling back out onto the outside, attempting to stay on the attack. Hardy lifts Mysterio up, tucking Rey’s head under his armpit. The audience responds with a mixed reaction as Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate on the outside! Mysterio desperately fights to avoid the move, hitting Matt with shots to the ribs and kidney area. Mysterio’s offense simply pisses Hardy off, as he begins clubbing wildly onto the back of Mysterio! After a couple of shots, Hardy grabs Mysterio and rolls his carcass into the ring. Arrogantly, Hardy decides to take the scenic route, climbing up the steel ring steps before re-entering the ring.

Mysterio crawls to the corner and attempts to pull himself up, struggling after taking a couple of bumps from the steel steps. Hardy follows Rey into the corner, staying on the attack, stomping a mud hole in Mysterio, knocking him down in the corner. Hardy takes his boot and puts it across the throat of Rey, choking his former friend out in the corner. The referee begins his five count, with Hardy breaking the choke on four, managing to avoid the disqualification.

Rey holds his throat and attempts to make it back up to his feet, as Hardy waits patiently, arrogantly smirking at his struggling opponent. A “Hardy sucks” chant starts up as Matt continues to wait on Mysterio. He then moves in, hitting Mysterio with hard rights as Rey continues to struggle in this match up. He then hits Mysterio with a strong combination, a hard right, followed by a left and then a firm spinning clothesline, knocking Mysterio down! Hardy then drops to the canvas and goes for the pin fall, the first cover of the match up. 1... 2... NO!

Mysterio kicks out of the pin fall, despite taking the brunt of the punishment during this match up. Hardy lifts Mysterio up, seemingly unaffected that he managed to kick out of an early cover. He goes behind Rey and lifts him up, before dropping him with a back suplex!! Hardy then goes for another cover. 1… 2.. NO! Mysterio kicks out once again, showing his resilience.

Hardy looks at Mysterio with a slight smirk, somewhat impressed he kicked out. Matt lifts him up but Mysterio fights back, hitting Hardy with a shot to the stomach, before following up with a couple of hard rights to the head! Hardy cuts him off with a knee to gut and shoots off of the ring ropes. Mysterio reacts and catches him with a great arm drag, getting a pop from the crowd! Both men get back up to their feet. Rey grabs Hardy by the hand and shoots him off of the ring ropes. Mysterio leaps up going for a leap frog but Hardy stops his own momentum, leaving Rey in midair. Hardy catches him once he comes down, hitting him with a hard dropkick!! Hardy lets out a smirk before crawling over and covering Mysterio. 1... 2... NO!

Mysterio once again kicks out of a pin fall by Hardy. Matt looks a little frustrated this time, staring at the referee before going back on the attack. He lifts Rey up but Mysterio continues to fight, hitting Hardy with a flurry of punches, catching Hardy off guard. Mysterio wails away on Hardy’s face, laying into him with punches but Hardy will have none of it, catching Rey with a quick thumb to the eye, cutting off his momentum.

Matt grabs the hand of Mysterio and shoots him off of the ring ropes. Mysterio comes back and catches Hardy with a tilt a whirl head scissors!! The crowd pops as Rey seems to have a glimmer of hope after his spectacular move! Both Hardy and Mysterio get up and Matt charges at Rey. Mysterio reacts and leapfrogs over Hardy before dropping to the canvas. Hardy comes back off the ropes and Mysterio takes him over with a monkey flip!!

Both guys get back up to their feet, except this time, Hardy gets up a little more gingerly. Mysterio charges at Hardy but Matt quickly reacts, dumping Rey over the top rope! Mysterio holds onto the top rope and lands on his feet on the ring apron! Hardy charges but Rey catches him coming in, hitting him with a hard forearm shiver, knocking Matt back! Mysterio leaps to the top rope, SPRINGBOARDS OFF AND CATCHES HARDY WITH A SEATED SENTON SPLASH FOR THE COVER!!!!

Hardy barely kicks out, shoving Mysterio off of his chest!

Rey looks dejected as the crowd groans, thinking Mysterio had the win in hand after one of his signature maneuvers. Both superstars get up to their feet and Rey drills Hardy with a hard right hand, which is soon retaliated for by Matt, who fires back with a hard right of his own. The two superstars exchange rights in the middle of the ring until Mysterio gains the advantage, wailing away on Hardy with a barrage of punches. Hardy once again cuts off his momentum, jumping up and hitting Rey right in the chest with a hard dropkick!

Hardy raises his right arm in the air, giving the ‘V1’ sign, which immediately garners tremendous heat from the crowd. Mysterio gets up to his feet and Hardy grabs him, looking to hit The Side Effect! Rey fights out of it, desperately trying to avoid the move, hitting Matt with hard back elbows. He finally breaks Hardy’s grip and then shoots off of the ropes. Rey comes back but Hardy catches him with a kick to the gut! He then grabs Mysterio, charges and slides Mysterio’s body under the bottom rope and to the outside!! Rey hit’s the ground hard and Hardy soon follows to the outside of the ring.

Matt lifts Mysterio off of the ground and hits him with a hard right hand. After stunning him, he grabs him and slams his face onto the ring apron! Hardy grabs Rey once more and prepares to slam him onto the apron … but Mysterio blocks it and then hits Hardy with a hard back elbow before slamming his face into the apron. Mysterio then hops onto the apron, springboards off of the second AND HITS HARDY WITH AN ASAI MOONSAULT!!!! The crowd pops huge as Mysterio struggles up to his feet, grabs Hardy and rolls him into the ring. Rey with the cover and a hook of the leg.

Matt barely keeps the match alive by kicking out of the high impact, high risk move by Rey Mysterio. Both men struggle back up to their feet, Hardy in pain after the moonsault and Rey, sluggish after the adrenaline rush has passed. Hardy throws a right, catching the top of Rey’s head. Mysterio soon fires back, hitting Hardy across the face. Matt hits one more, rocking Mysterio for a bit, but Rey will not be denied, firing off hard rights, unleashing a flurry on Hardy, the last of which, knocks him down!

Matt gets back up and Mysterio grabs his hand before attempting to shoot him off of the ropes … but Hardy counters the Irish whip and sends Rey off. Mysterio comes back and Hardy attempts a clothesline but Rey ducks it, springboards off of the second rope AND CATCHES HARDY WITH A CROSS BODY!!! Cover! 1... 2... NO!! Hardy kicks out of the fantastic move by Mysterio. Hardy shoves Rey off of him and gets back up to his feet, only to be met by a jumping spinning wheel kick, knocking Hardy down once more!

Mysterio lifts Hardy up and backs him into the corner, before grabbing him and shooting him into the opposite corner. Hardy hit’s the turnbuckle and Rey charges in but Hardy catches him and HIT’S A FLAPJACK ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!!! Hardy then rolls a stunned Mysterio up in a perfectly executed school boy!

Hardy too begins his ascent up the turnbuckles and wraps his arm around the head of Mysterio, whilst flinging Rey’s free hand over his neck. HARDY TAKES MYSTERIO OFF THE TOP WITH SUPERPLEX!!!! Hardy once again goes for the cover, this time hooking the leg. 1... 2... NO! Mysterio kicks out. Hardy then grabs the ref and begins shaking him, begging for a three count. The referee responds, simply saying it was a two count. Hardy turns his attention back toward Rey and spreads his arms wide, feeling it, waiting for his worn out opponent to get back up to his feet so he can hit his finishing maneuver. Rey struggles up to his feet and Hardy kicks him in the gut … GOING FOR THE TWIST OF FATE … BUT WHEN HARDY GOES FOR THE TURN, MYSTERIO SHOVES HIM OFF THE ROPES!! Matt comes back and Mysterio hit’s a huracanrana, causing Matt to get caught up on the second rope! The crowd pops huge as Mysterio is prepared for his signature move after missing it the first time. Mysterio bounces off of the ropes … AND HIT’S THE 619!!!!

The impact knocks Hardy down into the ring and Rey gets ready to put the match away. Mysterio springboards off of the top, going for the ‘DROPPIN DA DIME’ … BUT HARDY ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND REY CRASHES AND BURNS!!! Hardy gets up to his feet as does Rey, while holding his ass. MYSTERIO CONTINUES TO KICK OUT!!!

Hardy flips out, slamming his hands on the mat before getting in the referee’s face, yelling at the top of his lungs. He then shoves the ref but the referee shoves back, receiving a tremendous pop for sticking up to Hardy! Matt backs off, seemingly coming back to his senses … BUT THEN HIT’S THE TWIST OF FATE ON THE REFEREE!!! Hardy then rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair from ringside. He gets back to his feet and waits on Mysterio to get up to his feet. CHAVO GUERRERO runs down to the ring and begins hitting Hardy with hard rights hands. Chavo bounces off the ropes but gets caught with a HARD CHAIR SHOT TO THE GUT BY HARDY!! Hardy THEN DRILLS HIM IN THE FACE, knocking him from the ring!!!

Mysterio then gets back up to his feet and HARDY TAKES A SWING WITH THE CHAIR … BUT MYSTERIO DUCKS AND THEN DROPKICKS THE CHAIR IN HIS FACE!!! Mysterio then gets onto the apron as the referee begins to come to just a bit. Rey waits on the apron a few seconds, wanting his opponent to make it up to his feet. Matt finally comes to with his back to the camera as Rey springboards off of the top, looking for a seated senton … BUT HE MEETS A STEEL CHAIR TO THE FACE!!! Rey’s face makes a sickening thud as it meets the steel chair that Hardy shielded from his view. The referee sees all of this unfold and calls for the bell, disqualifying Hardy!
Winner: Rey Mysterio via disqualification at 11:18.

Matt could care less about the result as he has completely snapped! Hardy turns Rey over onto his stomach and lifts the chair up and slams it across the back of Mysterio!! And again! And again! Hardy wears him out with the steel chair until several referees run down to the ring in an attempt to put an end to this assault. Hardy smiles before dropping the chair and leaving the ring, receiving an incredible amount of heat as he walks up the entrance ramp. The referees check on Rey, who is in intense pain, yelling on the ground in agony after Hardy’s attack.

Joey Styles:
Matt Hardy is siiiick! He’s sick, Tazz. Completely unnecessary actions after the match, taken by Matt.

Tazz:
We usually don’t agree on much but I gotta agree with you there, Joey. Rey is in pain. He’s hurt bad man. Six or seven chair shots to the back. I mean just brutal stuff.

***We cut to the backstage area with Steve Romero standing by***

Steve Romero:
Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, he will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship here tonight, the World Champion, “The Wrestling Machine” Kurt Angle!

Kurt Angle comes into screenshot, receiving an immense ovation.

Steve Romero:
Kurt, we are less than two hours away from one of the biggest rematches in the history of SmackDown!, Angle-Batista II. Kurt, are you ready to take on “The Animal” one more time and this time … its NO … HOLDS … BARRED.

Angle takes a second or two to look at his title before he starts.

Kurt Angle:
Nine months. Nine months, that’s how long I’ve held this World Heavyweight Championship. And make no mistake about it, its been the hardest and most grueling nine months of MY LIFE. Week in and week out, I have been putting my title on the line against the best SmackDown! has to offer. From Mark Henry, to The Undertaker, to Randy Orton, to Chris Benoit, to The Big Show, to King Booker, to Rey Mysterio. Since January, I’ve given it every thing I have to keep this title.

Angle gives Romero a look as Steve nods, impressed by Angle’s list of top flight SmackDown! Superstars.

Kurt Angle:
But during those months as champion, what did everyone keep saying? “Batista never lost that belt.” “You’re a paper champion Kurt, ‘cause you never beat Batista.” Well guess what? At SummerSlam, I BEAT HIS ASS TOO!!

Incredibly loud pop as Angle’s intensity increases.

Kurt Angle:
Instead of taking his loss like a man, he decides to cheap shot me and attempt to take me out with a chair. Dave, you made a big mistake, a HUGE mistake. You didn’t take me out when you had the chance. You don’t think I can kick you ass with a couple of bruised ribs? I won a gold medal with a BROKEN FREAKIN’ NECK!

Another great pop for the World Champion.

Kurt Angle:
But Batista, you were right about one thing. Tonight is going to be nothing like a SummerSlam. SummerSlam, was about me keeping this championship. Tonight has nothing to do with the World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight isn’t even about proving about I’m the best in the world. Tonight … is about making you my bitch!

“OH” echoes throughout the arena which quickly turns into an incredibly loud ovation.

Kurt Angle:
Oh its true! Its DAMN TRUE!! (puts his mouthpiece in) YEAHHH!!!

Angle puts his World Title over his shoulder and leaves screenshot to a great ovation as Romero stares at a departing Angle in shock. Back to ringside.

Joey Styles:
Does it get anymore intense than Kurt Angle?

Tazz:
If it does, I haven’t seen him. Kurt Angle versus Batista will be a rocket buster to say the very least. Two of the biggest names in the business colliding for a second time. Off the hook!

Tony Chimel:
The following contest was a Fatal Four Way match but it is now a singles match and is for the Cruiserweight Championship!

“Dilated Teens” hits to a pretty decent ovation for someone who just debuted weeks ago. “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels makes his way down to the ring with his cloth over his head and signature robe on. He hops onto the ring apron an takes his cloth off before entering the ring.

Tony Chimel:
Introducing first, the challenger, from “The City of Angels”, weighing in at 210 pounds, “The Fallen Angel” CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!!!

Joey Styles:
As you have already heard, the original match was a fatal four way, also featuring Jamie Noble and Kid Kash, but both of those men were apparently attacked before the event and Stephanie McMahon made the call to make it a singles match.

Tazz:
Yeah and Chris Sabin accused Daniels of having something to do with the attack.

Joey Styles:
Daniels has denied any involvement with the attack and I believe him. Chris Sabin is a very talented athlete, a great athlete and a great guy but he is always thinking the worst of Daniels, someone who has shown no bad traits since appearing on SmackDown! a few weeks ago.

***HAIL SABIN***

The music of the Cruiserweight Champion his to a good pop. Chris Sabin makes his way onto the entrance ramp, belt strapped around his waist. He keeps his eyes locked on Daniels as he continues on his way to the ring.

Tony Chimel:
And his opponent, from Hell, Michigan, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the Cruiserweight Champion, CHRIS SABIN!!!

Joey Styles:
A relative newcomer to the scene, Chris Sabin has made a hell of an impact since arriving in the WWE but can he fend off the challenge from another newcomer?

Tazz:
You know what I was thinking? Maybe Sabin attacked Kash and Noble. Its much easier to beat one guy than to beat three.

Joey Styles:
That’s a strong accusation to make against somebody Tazz?

Tazz:
I’m a tough guy.

Joey Styles:
… or stupid.

Match #4
Chris Sabin(c) vs. Christopher Daniels
Cruiserweight Championship

Daniels and Sabin begin to circle around the ring, feeling each other out as the cruiserweight title match gets underway. The Fallen Angel extends his hand to Sabin, apparently wanting to show sportsmanship. Sabin waves it off, saying he doesn’t trust him. Daniels shrugs his shoulders and the referee calls for the ring bell and now this match is officially underway.

The two men square off in the middle of the ring and then engage in a collar and elbow tie-up with both men struggling for position. Daniels gains the momentum and backs the Cruiserweight Champion into the corner. The two men struggle in the corner until the referee gets in between the two, attempting to separate them. Daniels begins to back up, surprisingly giving the ref a clean break. A slight smirk comes over the face of The Fallen Angel as Sabin makes his way out of the corner, still weary of his opponent.

Sabin throws a forearm, catching Daniels in the face and Daniels returns the favor and the two men begin exchanging hard shots in the middle of the ring! The Fallen Angel goes low, hitting him with a boot to the gut and then shooting him off of the ropes. Sabin comes back and goes for a clothesline but Daniels ducks and goes behind Sabin, grabbing him.

Chris Sabin attempts a back elbow but Daniels ducks! Daniels gets into position for a Northern Light’s Suplex … but Sabin is the one to counter this time, hitting his opponent with a couple of hard knees! Sabin then gets ready for a vertical suplex and gets Daniels up but The Fallen Angel counters and lands behind him. Daniels once again grabs Sabin from behind but this time the Cruiserweight Champion is prepared and performs a standing switch, switching positions with Daniels.

He rolls Daniels up in a school boy! 1... 2... NO! Both men get back up to their feet and charge at each other but once again Sabin gains the advantage, getting The Fallen Angel in a small package! 1... 2... NO! Daniels kicks out and quickly gets back up to his feet. He seems to be getting more and more frustrated as Sabin goes for pin covers. The two men move toward the center of the ring and lock up with a collar and elbow tie up but Daniels quickly goes for the headlock. Sabin just as quickly gets out of it, backing up and shooting Daniels off of the ropes.

He comes back and takes Sabin down with a shoulder block. Daniels shoots off the ropes once more but SABIN KIPS UP and goes for a kick to the gut but Daniels catches the boot of the Cruiserweight Champion!! He takes a minute to let out a smile and it costs him, as Sabin ducks and hits an enziguri, knocking his challenger down!! Sabin quickly crawls over and covers him, attempting to put this match away early.

Daniels kicks out, still being relatively fresh this early in the match!

Sabin lifts Daniels up but the challenger quickly swipes his hands out of the way, breaking the grip and then rocking him with an open palm strike to the face, knocking Sabin back!! Daniels then kicks him in the gut and attempts to shoot him into the corner but Sabin reverses the Irish whip, sending Daniels into the turnbuckle! Sabin charges in and drills Daniels with a running, jumping forearm to the face!

Sabin then backs up and attempts another but The Fallen Angel is ready lifting him up and over the top rope … but Sabin lands on the apron! Sabin jumps up, looking to springboard off of the top BUT DANIELS DELIVERS A DROPKICK, KNOCKING HIM OFF THE TOP ROPE TO THE FLOOR BELOW!! A mixed reaction fills the arena as Daniels gets up to his feet, looking to capitalize. He waits 0on Sabin, whom slowly begins to get back up to his feet, and then launches himself over the top rope, taking Sabin out with a plancha!!

A small contingent of fans begin a “Fallen Angel” chant as Daniels lifts Sabin up to his feet and tosses him under the bottom rope, into the ring. Daniels too follows in and covers him, hooking the far leg.

Sabin manages to get a shoulder up!

Daniels gets up and brings Sabin with him, going back on the attack. He pulls back and delivers a stiff knife edge chop to the chest of Sabin. The Cruiserweight Champion clutches his chest in pain but Daniels delivers another one, lighting up the chest of Sabin! He grabs the hand of Sabin and shoots off of the ring ropes but he holds onto the top rope, stopping his momentum dead. Daniels charges in but Sabin hits him with a boot to the face, knocking him back.

Sabin then leap frogs over the top rope, landing on the apron! Sabin acts as if he will springboard off the rope but its only a “head and shoulders” fake, causing Daniels to go once again go for the dropkick but hit nothing, hitting the canvas!! Sabin then springboards off the top rope AND HITS DANIELS WITH A HARD SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK!!

Daniels hit’s the canvas hard and rolls out of the ring, falling to the outside. Sabin takes a second to feed off of the energy of the crowd before following to the outside, attempting to capitalize on that big move. He lifts Daniels up and hit’s a couple of hard forearms, before whipping him hard into the barricade! Sabin then backs up and clotheslines him over the barricade, into the crowd (the audience has been pushed back from that area by security)!!

Sabin enters the ring, breaking the count and holds onto the top rope, waiting for The Fallen Angel. Daniels gets to his feet slowly, still a bit woozy from the dropkick of his opponent. SABIN LEAPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND INTO THE CROWD, TAKING DANIELS OUT WITH A HELO!!!!!! A loud “HOLY SHIT” chant starts up as both men lay out in the crowd, out of it after Sabin’s death defying move. Several seconds pass and its Sabin who gets up to his feet, leaps over the barricade and rolls into the ring before rolling back out, breaking the referee’s (slow) count. Sabin reaches over the barricade and brings Sabin over before tossing him back into the ring and going for the cover.

Sabin kicks out!

Now Daniels is beginning to get frustrated, unable to put this match away and capture the title. The Fallen Angel lifts Sabin up to his feet and delivers a stinging chop to the chest of his opponent, knocking him backwards. Sabin delivers a chop of his own but Daniels fires again with another chop, trying to rip the chest of Sabin open. He then lifts Sabin up and puts him on the top turnbuckle. Sabin begins to fight back, striking Daniels with a right hand, but he’s soon cut off by a hard strike to the face!

Daniels climbs the turnbuckle, possibly going for a superplex … but Sabin fights it, not letting himself be taken over. He hits Daniels with a couple of forearms and then finally knocks him down off of the turnbuckle! He quickly gets back up and charges at Sabin but the champion leaps off of the turnbuckle, over Daniels and lands on his feet! Sabin moves towards the corner and Daniels charges in, lunging with a front dropkick but Sabin moves and Daniels crashes into the turnbuckle, getting his feet caught up in the “Tree of Woe” position!!

Sabin moves towards the opposite corner and then charges in, leaping up and hitting Daniels in the face with a hesitation dropkick!! Sabin thinks about getting Daniels out of the position but instead decides to run towards the other turnbuckle before turning around AND HITTING ANOTHER HESITATION DROPKICK!! The momentum of this one knocks Daniels loose, problem is, he’s damn near out of it. Sabin pulls him out of the corner and covers him.

Sabin looks at the referee, incredibly shocked that he didn’t manage to pick up the victory after driving his feet straight into the face of Daniels TWICE! He lifts Daniels up and tucks him between his legs, possibly going for a power bomb. Daniels counters the move, spinning out from between his legs and kicking Sabin in the gut. Daniels lifts him onto his shoulders and HIT’S SABIN WITH THE DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!!

Daniels lifts Sabin back up to his feet and then lifts him up, before dropping him with a Urinagi suplex!! Daniels then points to the corner, looking to pull off a high risk maneuver. Daniels is pissed off now, getting up to his feet and grabbing the referee by his shirt, demanding a three count. The ref tells him it was only a two, causing Daniels to rear back, ready to strike him! Sabin intervenes, spinning Daniels around and rocks him with a couple of hard rights. Daniels kicks him in the gut and goes to shoot him off of the ropes but Sabin counters and gets Sabin on his shoulders, READY FOR THE CRADLE SHOCK!! Sabin moves towards the middle of the ring, ready to hit his finishing maneuver but …

… Allison Danger walks down the ramp!! Our commentators, Joey Styles and Tazz, remind us that she was the one who saw Noble and Kash attacked, but wonder what she’s doing out here NOW! She hops onto the apron and begins yelling something. Both the referee and Sabin become distracted. The referee demands that Danger get down off of the apron and so does Sabin. Daniels kicks his feet hard, managing to get down off of the shoulders of Sabin, landing behind him! Daniels drops to his knees AND HITS SABIN WITH A LOW BLOW!! The crowd erupts into boos and seeing her job is done, Danger hops off of the apron, and the referee refocuses on the match. Daniels gets up to his feet and turns Sabin around, tucking his head between the legs. The Fallen Angel then hooks the arms, and lifts Sabin up, HITTING THE ANGEL’S WINGS!!! Daniels covers Sabin, hooking both legs!!

Winner: … and NEW Cruiserweight Champion, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels via pin fall at 11:45.

Daniels lets out an arrogant smirk as he is handed his new championship and exit’s the ring. Daniels and Allison Danger embrace before they head up the entrance ramp, as Daniels snatches his shoulder away from the fans as they attempt to grab him. Daniels is now acting completely heelish, since he has gotten what he wants, there‘s no more reason to put on the “goody two shoes“ act. The Fallen Angel raises the Cruiserweight Championship over his head at the top of the entrance ramp as the crowd showers him in heat.

Joey Styles:
Son of a bitch!! That no good bastard Daniels has been playing everyone all along!

Tazz:
Ya think?! He took out Kid Kash and Jamie Noble tonight and then screwed Sabin out of the title tonight! And that chick, Allison Danger was in on it the whole time.

Joey Styles:
Oh my Gawd.

***We now cut to a backstage hallway as “The Game” Triple H warms up for his upcoming match up with “The Fighting Irishman” Finlay.***

Hunter snarls as he grabs his sledgehammer of a crate and prepares to head towards the ring … but he is cut off by several security guards.

Triple H:
What the hell is this?

Stephanie McMahon, the relatively new General manager of SmackDown, steps in between the middle of the security.

Stephanie McMahon:
I just wanted to wish you luck in your match tonight.

Triple H lets out a smirk, knowing its complete bullshit.

Triple H:
Thanks but if you don’t mind, I don’t have time for this.

Stephanie McMahon:
Yeah, about that. The sledgehammer … the sledgehammer stays here.

Hunter smiles and looks around at the security guards.

Triple H:
And you brought these guys to take it from me?

Stephanie McMahon:
No. These guys are here to escort you out of the building if you don’t hand the sledgehammer over.

Hunter thinks for a minute but eventually extends the handle towards Stephanie. She grabs it and attempts to take it away but Hunter yanks it towards him, bringing him face to face with his ex-wife.

Triple H:
You always did like my wood.

Hunter lets it go and brushes by security and assumedly towards the ring. Stephanie looks upset as Triple H walks away and we cut back to ringside.

Joey Styles:
Why does Finlay get to bring his shillelagh out here but Triple H cant bring the sledgehammer? That’s not fair.

Tazz:
The sledgehammer is a weapon. The shillelagh is like, uh, tradition in stuff. Y’know in Ireland where Finlay’s from they pass it down from generations and such.

Joey Styles:
What the hell are you talking about?

***MY NAME IS FINLAY AND I LOVE TO FIGHT!***

The crowd erupts into a chorus of boos as the familiar catchphrase is heard throughout the arena. “The Fighting Irishman” Finlay makes his way down the entrance ramp and towards the ring, shillelagh in hand. He is all business, as always, as he enters the ring.

Tony Chimel:
The following contest is a one on one match, scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Belfast, Ireland, weighing in at 233 pounds… FINLAY!!!

Joey Styles:
This match up will be intense to say the least. Two of the toughest, two of the most hard hitting, quite frankly, the two biggest bad asses in the company go one on one here tonight.

Tazz:
The Fighting Irish Bastard and The Game are a couple of the roughest but we’ll find out just who is the ‘alpha male’ here tonight in Green Bay.

***BEHOLD THE KING … THE KING OF KINGS!***

“King of Kings” blasts throughout the arena, receiving a rousing ovation from the sold out audience. “The Game” Triple H makes his way onto the stage area, water bottle in hand. He drinks a little before spitting it out and continuing on his way to the ring. The Cerebral Assassin does his pre-match ritual as Chimel makes the introduction.

Tony Chimel:
And his opponent, from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 265 pounds, “THE GAAAAME” TRIPLE H!!!

Joey Styles:
The Cerebral Assassin. Can Triple H defeat the wily veteran, Finlay, right here tonight.

Tazz:
That’s why we’re here. We’re gonna find out right now! This should be a rocket buster!!

Match #5
Triple H vs. Finlay

The bell rings and the crowd cheers, excited to see what should be an intense match up finally underway. Triple H and Finlay stare at each other from across the ring, snarling with intensity as the crowd waits anxiously. Hunter and Finlay move towards each other in the center of the ring before locking up with a strong collar and elbow tie up.

Both men struggle in the dead center of the ring, trying to gain an early advantage. Hunter shows his apparent strength advantage, using his power to back The Fighting Irish Bastard up and into the corner. After being cornered in the turnbuckle, Finlay quickly switches places with The Game and the referee tries to get in between the two fierce competitors, trying to get a clean break.
Surprisingly, Finlay gives the referee what he wants, a clean break, and slowly backs out of the corner, away from Triple H, towards the center of the ring. The Game soon follows, making his way out of the corner and the two extraordinarily tough men once again square off in the middle of the ring.

This time Finlay doesn’t bother with locking up, instead, quickly taking a swing at the head of Triple H! The Game ducks the blow and quickly retaliates, hitting Finlay with a hard right hand, taking him down to the canvas! Finlay gets back up to his feet, only to be taken down with another hard right hand from The Cerebral Assassin! Feeling he has the momentum in his corner, Hunter lifts Finlay up to his feet, grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the ring ropes. Finlay comes back and The Game takes him up and over with a back body drop.

Triple H then begins to bounce up and down, ‘feeling it’, as he waits for his opponent to get back up to his feet. Finlay gets back up to a vertical base and The Game charges ahead, before running Finlay over with a strong clothesline! The crowd pops as Triple H stands over Finlay, giving the fans a clear visual image of his current dominance over his opponent.

Finlay crawls to a corner, away from Triple H and uses the ropes to pull himself up, resting against the turnbuckles. The Game comes after Finlay, not wanting to give him a chance to recover. The Fighting Irishman shows his tremendous experience, catching Hunter with a kick to the gut as he comes in. Finlay then rears back and nails Triple H with a right hand, knocking him back. Finlay then grabs The Game by the hand and attempts to shoot him into the ropes, but The Game counters the Irish whip and sends Finlay into the ring ropes. Hunter goes for a clothesline but Finlay ducks and bounces off of the ropes again. Triple H reacts quickly, jumping up and hitting Finlay with the ‘Harley Race’ high knee!

Finlay attempts to shake the hard blow off, using the ropes to pull himself back up to his feet as The Game waits, poised to hit another high impact move. Finlay gets all the way up and Triple H charges in but Finlay quickly bends over, before dumping The Game over the top rope with a back body drop, sending him to the floor below!!

On the inside of the ring, Finlay attempts to regain his wits about himself as Triple H lies on the outside of the ring in pain. The Fighting Irishman soon follows to the outside, attempting to capitalize on the rare tactical error by Triple H. He lifts The Game up but Hunter refuses to cooperate, hitting Finlay with a hard shot to the gut. Triple H then hits Finlay with a hard knee to the stomach before rolling The Fighting Irish Bastard back into the ring.

The Game climbs up onto the apron but Finlay once again shows good veteran instincts, quickly getting up, before grabbing Hunter’s head and hot shotting him off of the top rope! The Game falls on the ring apron, clutching at his throat after the cheap, but effective, maneuver from Finlay. Finlay reaches under the bottom rope, grabs Triple H and drags him towards the center of the ring, before going for the cover, the first one of the match up. 1... 2... NO! The Cerebral Assassin manages to get a shoulder up, before clutching his throat, still in pain from the maneuver from Finlay.

Finlay remains unflustered, lifting The Game up and backing him into a corner. The Fighting Irishman takes advantage of Hunter’s prone state, hitting him with a hard knife edged chop and quickly following up with a succession of boots to the stomach. The referee begins to count but Finlay refuses to listen and keeps on stomping away on Triple H. The referee gets up to a count of 4 and decides to pull Finlay out of the corner. Finlay gets in the ref’s face, causing him to back down. Finlay soon refocuses on The Game but Triple H has had time to recover and charges out of the corner, taking The Fighting Irish Bastard down with a double leg!!

Hunter wails away on Finlay, drilling him with hard right hands to the face! Finlay finally manages to get from under The Game and both competitors get back up to their feet. Triple H charges at Finlay, going for a clothesline but he ducks it and avoids the contact. Hunter bounces off of the ropes and Finlay gets set too early, causing The Game to make him pay, hitting him with the face buster!!

Finlay clutches his face in pain before Hunter bounces off of the ropes and takes him back down to the canvas with a hard clothesline! Triple H gets down and makes the cover, his first of the match up. 1... 2... NO! The Fighting Irishman gets a shoulder up. The Game begins showing signs of frustration as he looks at the referee, holding up three fingers, causing the referee responds, holding up two fingers. Hunter stays focused on the task at hand as he lifts Finlay up and shoots him into the ropes. Finlay holds onto the top one, stopping his momentum and Triple H charges in. Finlay lifts Hunter up and delivers a flap jack, causing Hunter’s throat to land on the top ring rope once again!! Finlay quickly tries to capitalize, scrambling over to cover The Game. 1... 2... NO!

The Cerebral Assassin once again manages to get his right shoulder up. Finlay stays on the attack, quickly getting up to his feet before leaping up and smashing the stomach of The Game with a jumping seated senton! He then goes for another cover. 1... 2... NO!

The Fighting Irishman continues to grow more frustrated, as Triple H kicks out one more time. He mounts Hunter, wailing away on his face with hard right hands as the referee begins his mandatory five count. Finlay dismounts at a count of four and gets back up to his feet. He lifts The Game up, grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the corner. Finlay charges in but Triple H gets his right boot up and into the face of The Fighting Irishman. Hunter charges out of the corner and Finlay goes for a clothesline. In one smooth motion, The Game avoids the lariat, grabs Finlay by the neck and drops him with a hard neck breaker!!

Hunter feels the momentum shifting and lifts him back up to his feet. He grabs him by the hand and shoots Finlay into the ring ropes. He comes back and The Game attempts the clothesline. Finlay avoids it and bounces off of the opposite ropes but Triple H catches him with a high knee, before quickly going for the cover!

Triple H bounces off of the ropes but Finlay quickly recovers, tripping The Game up with a drop toe hold!

Finlay gets up to his feet and stares at Triple H, pissed at his opponent. Finlay exit’s the ring and walks towards the ringside area, before kicking Tony Chimel out of his seat. He grabs A STEEL CHAIR and re-enters the ring. HE LIFTS IT UP AND PREPARES TO HIT THE GAME… BUT THE REFEREE GRABS IT!!! Pissed, Finlay snatches the chair back and flings it, sliding it to the other side of the ring! The referee goes to retrieve the chair and Finlay quickly hurries to the corner, and… GRABS HIS SHILLELAGH!! The Game gets up to his feet and FINLAY DRILLS HIM IN THE BACK OF HIS LEG WITH THE HARD PIECE OF WOOD - the same leg that he had surgery on!!! Finlay ‘gets rid of the evidence’, quickly throwing his shillelagh out of the ring.

The crowd erupts in heat as Finlay gives them a knowing smile, proud that he managed to outsmart the referee. Triple H holds his leg in pain as Finlay goes back on the attack, grabbing the leg of The Game and dragging him towards the corner. He slides under the bottom rope and straddles The Game against the turn post! He then grabs the injured leg and slams it against the turn post with fury!! Hunter grabs his leg in pain but Finlay hits him with a right hand to the face. Finlay then grabs the leg once more and SLAMS IT INTO THE TURNPOST AGAIN!! The Fighting Irishman then climbs back into the ring, before pulling Hunter back into the center of it and going for the cover. 1... 2... NO!

Triple H manages to get a shoulder up, not kicking out though, as his leg is an extreme amount of pain. Finlay stays on the attack, lifting his leg up, only to drop an elbow across the knee! Finlay repeats the same motion, once again dropping an elbow onto the leg of The Cerebral Assassin! Triple H clutches at his leg in pain but Finlay shows no remorse, flipping Hunter onto his stomach. He grabs The Game’s leg and lifts it high into the air before slamming his knee down onto the canvas!! Hunter rolls on the ground in pain, clutching his knee as the crowd begins to start a faint “Finlay sucks” chant.

Finlay grabs Hunter by the head and attempts to lift The Game back up to his feet but Triple H shows signs of life, hitting him with a hard shot to the gut. Hunter struggles up to a vertical base and hits Finlay with a right to the face. Triple H then pulls back and hits Finlay with a couple of more hard shots, firing up. Finlay keeps his offense short and sweet, simply kicking Triple H in the injured leg, sending him back down to the canvas in pain! He grabs the hand of Finlay and attempts to shoot him into the opposite corner. Finlay counters the Irish whip, turns around and sends Triple H flying over the top rope, to the outside of the ring, with an incredible amount of authority!!

Hunter hit’s the ground hard and immediately begins clutching his leg, in pain after the hard landing! Finlay also goes to the outside but instead of going after the injured Game, Finlay walks over to the announce table and begins clearing it, getting rid of the top, microphones and monitors!!

Both Joey Styles and Tazz get up from their positions as The Fighting Irish Bastard clearly has some evil intentions. Finlay grabs Triple H off of the ground and slams his head onto the announce table! He then rolls back into the ring to break up the count before rolling right back out the outside. He grabs Hunter and steps up onto the announce table, with The Game in tow.
The referee exit’s the ring and begins to reason with Finlay but The Fighting Irishman will have none of it, instead sticking Triple H’s head between his legs!! And The Rock is gonna make sure you know that, because The Rock is gonna take that scepter, shine it up real nice, turn that sumbitch sideways … remove William Regal from your backside … AND THEN STICK IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR CANDY ASS!!!

Another loud pop as Rocky begins to rattle off catchphrases.

The Rock:
And Book, Book, please believe that once all the dust has settled, once all the smoke … has cleared, The Rock will be walking out victorious. IF YA SMELLLLLLLLL …

Rock gets cut off as Triple H storms by, right in between The Rock and the camera.

The Rock:
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA!!!

Triple H turns around to face Rocky.

The Rock:
Let The Rock ask you something. You honestly think that you can disrespect The Rock, by walking right in front during The Rock’s interview time?

Triple H looks up with a scowl.

Triple H:
Rock, I am not in the mood to…

The Rock:
IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!

Trips looks ready to blow as the crowd pops.

The Rock:
Every single week, you end up in The Rock’s face. Look, do The Rock a favor. I know its hard but somehow, keep that beak you call a nose out of The Rock’s business.

Crowd gasps as Rock and Triple H get face to face. Rock walks off, not even letting Triple H get a word in. Hunter scowls at The Rock but that actually turns into a smirk and eventually a laugh as apparently, The Cerebral Assassin has something in mind as we cut back to ringside.

Joey Styles:
The weeks of tension continues to build between “The Game” and The Rock.

Tazz:
Weeks of tension? These guys have hated each other for years. But The Rock better get his head in the game, no pun intended, because King Booker has been on top of his game for a while and The Rock could be embarrasses if he‘s not focused.

***We cut to the backstage area as the NEW Cruiserweight Champion Christopher Daniels exits his locker room, with Allison Danger by his side and walks down a hallway.***

Several superstars on the roster, both heel and face, give The Fallen Angel a dirty look, unimpressed with his arrogant and cocky demeanor after pulling the wool over their eyes ever since his debut. Daniels pays them no mind, simply heading out of the arena, new title in hand.

Joey Styles:

Mr. Kennedy makes his way on to the stage and the ovation actually gets louder, as the hometown hero makes his way down the entrance ramp. Kennedy raises his hand to they sky and his microphone lowers from the ceiling. He prepares to speak but is cut off by a “KENNEDY” chant. Ken tries to play it off as if he’s not moved by the incredible reaction but is clearly holding back a smile.

Joey Styles:
Oh my Gawd!! Listen to this hometown crowd!!!

Tazz:
Green Bay loves Mista Kennedy…Kennedy.

Ken Kennedy:
Ladies and gentlemen…

Thunderous ovation, cutting Kennedy off once again.

Ken Kennedy:

Another incredible pop for Kennedy, who lets out a smirk.

Ken Kennedy:
I don’t know if any of you are aware of this or not. I think only us people within the business are aware of this, so I’ll let you in on it…

Kennedy pauses for a moment before continuing.

Ken Kennedy:
I HAIL FROM GREEN BAY, WISCONSIIINNNNNN!!!!!!

The crowd gets up to their feet and begin cheering wildly as Kennedy nods his head. Another thunderous “KENNEDY” chant starts up and Kennedy waits several seconds for it to die down before continuing.

Ken Kennedy:

Kennedy walks over to the corner and climbs up on the turnbuckle as the fans continue to cheer wildly.

Ken Kennedy:

Kennedy waits in the ring for several seconds, warming up before…

“My Time is Now” hits and the crowd immediately get up to their feet and boo the shit out of John Cena, who makes his way onto the stage. Cena, dressed in his trademark ‘marine’ outfit, makes his way down the entrance ramp, paying no attention to the fans, apparently expecting this incredibly hostile reaction.

Joey Styles:
The Doctor of Thuganomics is not getting a very warm reception from this very partisan crowd here tonight.

Tazz:
Cena doesn’t care Styles. He’s got a beef with Mista Kennedy and he’s gonna settle it with him here tonight, whether these Green Bay fans are with him her or not.

Match #7
“The Homecoming”
John Cena vs. Ken Kennedy

Both superstars stare at each other from across the ring, John Cena looking at Mr. Kennedy with his intense blue eyes as Kennedy stares back with a determined look, which still shows his trademark confidence. The crowd is still going wild with loud “Kennedy!” chants blasting throughout the arena. The announcers, Joey Styles and Tazz, once again point out that this is Mr. Kennedy’s hometown, trying to explain the negative reaction for John Cena. Cena takes off his dog tags, hat and t-shirt, handing them to the referee, who gives them to a worker at ringside. The referee calls for the ring bell and the crowd pops, with this match up now officially underway. The crowd continues to jeer the Doctor of Thuganomics as he once again goes for a cover, this time hooking the far leg. 1... 2... NO! Kennedy once again kicks out but Cena stays on the attack, quickly applying a rear chin lock on Mr. Kennedy.

A loud “KENNEDY” chant begins as Cena tightens the hold on the chin lock. The referee asks Kennedy if he wants to give it up, to which he responds with a firm ‘no’ and continues to try to grab a hold of Cena’s arm, to release the pressure around his throat. Mr. Kennedy struggles up to a knee, slowly turning in the hold to face Cena. He hits Cena with a hard right hand, causing his grip to loosen slightly. Kennedy gets back up to a vertical base, facing Cena, and hits him with a couple of more hard right hands, fully breaking Cena’s grip.

Kennedy then pulls back and hits him with another hard right before grabbing him by the hand and attempting to shoot him off of the ring ropes. Cena counters the Irish whip and sends Kennedy into the ring ropes. He prepares to throw a clothesline but Mr. Kennedy holds onto the top ring rope and quickly exit’s the ring, going under the bottom rope to the outside. A “CENA SUCKS” chant starts up but Cena ignores them, staying focused on his opponent. Kennedy rolls back into the ring but quickly rolls back outside, not wanting to step into the ring with Cena again, just yet.

The Doctor of Thuganomics has had enough and slides under the bottom rope, going after Mr. Kennedy! The chase is on as Kennedy sprints away from Cena and slides in on the opposite side of the ring. Cena soon follows but Kennedy kicks him in the back, getting the momentum on his side by outsmarting his more excited opponent. Kennedy continues to stomp away on Cena, trying to sustain his first true offensive advantage of this match up. Kennedy begins to get his trademark arrogance back, calling for Cena to get back up to his feet before dropping an elbow into the small of his back. Kennedy continues to badmouth Cena as he stmops away, “You can’t see me?? I can’t see you! See this!” Kennedy delivers a stomp to the head of Cena as the fans eat up every second of it.

Kennedy grabs the back of the head of Cena and drags him towards the corner, before slamming his face on the turnbuckle pad, stunning Cena. Kennedy then grabs the hand of Cena and attempts to send him into the corner but Cena counters and delivers the Irish whip to Kennedy, sending him into the corner with extreme ferocity! Kennedy hit’s the turnbuckle and bounces back towards the center of the ring, only to have Cena grab him by the hand again and shoot him in the other corner hard with force! Cena goes back to the rear chin lock, perhaps trying to wear Mr. Kennedy down. Kennedy quickly gets back up to his feet, knowing its only a matter of time before his strength is sapped from him. Kennedy slowly moves towards the corner, grabbong the top rope, forcing Cena to break the submission hold. The referee gets up to a count of four and Cena releases the chin lock and then begins to slowly begins to back away from the corner with his hands up, showing he poses no threat with Kennedy in the ropes. The referee tells Cena to keep it clean, distracting Cena for just a quick second but that’s all that Mr. Kennedy needs! He charges out of the corner and runs Cena over with a hard clothesline! Kennedy slowly gets his wits about himself and smirks, knowing he just got one over on Cena.

He ‘angles’ up Cena’s body just right, before charging ahead and delivering a stiff kick to his back! Kennedy grabs Cena by the head and holds him up straight. He then leaps up and catches Cena straight in the face with a perfectly executed dropkick! Proud of his work, Kennedy then gives the crowd a confident smirk, which gets another great pop, and goes for the cover, his first pin fall attempt of the match up. 1... 2... Cena’s right shoulder shoots off of the mat, as he is not ready to go down to Mr. Kennedy just yet.
Kennedy stares at the referee, almost giving him a look of ‘You better count faster’ before getting back up to his feet. Cena crawls onto his stomach, on his hands and knees, trying to get back up to a fighting stance but Mr. Kennedy stays in control delivering a stiff kick to the stomach! Cena clutches his gut in pain as Kennedy looks towards the fans and waves his hand in front of his face, doing the “You Can’t See Me” taunt, mocking John Cena. With Cena set up on top, Kennedy pulls back and hits him with a hard right hand, trying to make sure he’s incapacitated. Kennedy then climbs onto the middle rope and … gets CENA IN POSITION FOR A SUPERPLEX … BUT CENA COUNTERS, HITTING KENNEDY WITH A COUPLE OF HARD RIGHTS BEFORE KNOCKING HIM OFF!! Cena recovers and struggles up, standing on the top turnbuckle!! The referee begs for Cena to get down off of the turnbuckle but it does no good. Kennedy, seeing that he’s in trouble, uses his foot to nudge the referee, causing THE REF TO HIT THE ROPES, MAKING CENA LOSE HIS BALANCE AND STRADDLE THE TURNBUCKLE!!!

The referee reprimands Kennedy as he makes it back up to his feet, pointing to his head, illustrating his use of intelligence with that past scenario. Kennedy attempts to capitalize on the mistake, climbing back to the middle rope, once again going for the superplex!! Cena once again blocks it, hitting Mr. Kennedy with hard shots to the gut before… PUSHING HIM OFF AGAIN!!

Kennedy hit’s the mat hard and Cena sees an opening, quickly getting set on the top turnbuckle! The crowd boos Cena as he looks around, soaking it all up before… LEAPING OFF OF THE TOP AND… HITTING A SPLASH!!!! Styles and Tazz react with shock, impressed by Cena’s ‘high risk’ move. Cena struggles up to a knee but Kennedy stays on the attack, hitting him with a couple of hard right hands. Cena soon follows with a hard right of his own, hitting Mr. Kennedy square in the gut. Kennedy responds with another only to have it reciprocated by Cena who fires right back. Cena gets back up to his feet and hits Kennedy with another right. And another!

Cena then bounces off of the ropes BUT KENNEDY CATCHES HIM IN THE SLEEPER HOLD!! The crowd cheers as Kennedy has the classic hold locked into perfection. After several seconds, Cena begins to fade, slowly going down to his knees. Mr. Kennedy keeps the hold locked in as Cena continues to fade and finally both Kennedy and Cena drop to the mat, Cena almost completely out of it! The referee checks on Cena, who doesn’t respond. He then grabs his hand and lifts it up … BUT IT DROPS FOR THE FIRST TIME! He lifts It up again and … IT DROPS A SECOND TIME! He lifts it up one more time and … THIS TIME IT DOES NOT DROP!!!

The crowd gives an ungodly amount of heat as Cena slowly begins to get back into the match, struggling to get back up to his feet! Cena gets back up to a vertical base but Kennedy jumps on his back, applying a body scissors with the sleeper hold!! Kennedy begins shaking his head and smiling thinking he has outsmarted the Doctor of Thuganomics until … CENA JUMPS BACKWARDS … SENDING HIS BODY CRASHING DOWN ON KENNEDY’S!!!!

The sold out crowd begins another “Kennedy” chant as both men lay on the ground. Both Mr. Kennedy and John Cena struggle back up to a vertical base but Cena is the first to strike, exploding with a hard clothesline!! Kennedy gets back up to his feet and Cena explodes with another hard clothesline, picking up some more momentum!! Kennedy gets back up to his feet and Cena charges! Mr. Kennedy throws a clothesline but Cena ducks it and bounces off of the ring ropes. He comes back and drills Kennedy with a flying shoulder block, taking him down, to a huge amount of heat from the crowd!!! He then lifts Kennedy up and shoots him off of the ring ropes. He comes back and Cena wraps his arms around him and delivers a modified (and ugly) belly to belly suplex to Mr. Kennedy!!! He then gets down for the cover, hooking the leg!!

The crowd erupts as Cena stares at the referee, flabbergasted that Kennedy managed to kick out. Mr. Kennedy gets back up to his feet and Cena attempts to stay on offense. He backs him against the ropes before attempting to shoot him off. Kennedy counters the Irish whip and when Cena comes back, Kennedy leaps up and HITS CENA WITH A JUMPING SPINNING HEEL KICK!! Kennedy then gets back up to his feet, exit’s the ring and goes onto the apron, before climbing up the turnbuckle.

But before he can get set, Cena gets back up and drills him with a right!! Cena then climbs onto the turnbuckle and PUTS KENNEDY ON HIS SHOULDERS, TRYING TO HIT A SUPER FU … BUT KENNEDY FIGHTS OUT OF IT!!! He gets off of Cena’s shoulders and climbs back down into the ring. He gets set in between the legs of Cena and … DELIVERS A NASTY POWERBOMB!!!! He then covers Cena, PUTTING HIS FEET ON THE ROPES FOR LEVERAGE!!!

Kennedy stares at the referee in shock as some of the fans in attendance begin pelting the ring with empty cups and such, furious over the referee’s call. A LOUD “BULLSHIT!” chant starts as Kennedy gets into the face of the referee, backing him down. Styles and Tazz agree with the ref’s assessment, while explaining the decision to the fans at home. Kennedy turns around to Cena as he slowly gets back up to his feet. Mr. Kennedy throws a clothesline but Cena ducks it and HIT’S THE KILLSWITCH (Spin Out Powerbomb)!!! The crowd continues to boo ferociously as Cena holds his right hand in the air. He does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt to the fans and then to Kennedy before bouncing off of the ropes and … HITTING THE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE!!!

Cena begins pumping up his sneakers as Mr. Kennedy slowly gets back up to his feet. Cena lifts him up … READY TO HIT THE FU … BUT KENNEDY FIGHTS OUT OF IT, SLIDING DOWN HIS BACK … AND HITS HIM WITH THE GREEN BAY MEAT PACKER NECKBREAKER!!!!! Kennedy quickly covers as the fans in attendance jump up and down!!!

This time Kennedy doesn’t even complain, he’s too pissed off with Cena to complain. He waits on Cena to get up to his feet, stalking The Doctor of Thuganomics, begging him to get up! Cena gets up and turns around, now facing Kennedy and Kennedy strikes, kicking Cena in the gut and lifting him on his shoulders!! KENNEDY THEN PLANTS HIM WITH THE FU!!!! The crowd erupts with the loudest pop of the night as Kennedy hits Cena with his own finishing maneuver!! Kennedy falls out on the canvas, with the adrenaline rush passing, after that move. He struggles back up to a vertical base and drags Cena a bit closer to the corner. Mr. Kennedy then goes onto the ring apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle! Kennedy motions to his adoring public, who respond with a raucous ovation, before … LEAPING OFF OF THE TOP, LOOKING FOR THE KENTON BOMB … BUT CENA MOVES AND KENNEDY CRASHES INTO THE CANVAS!!!

Kennedy lays on the canvas holding his back as John Cena struggles a bit to make it up to his feet. He then goes over to Kennedy and … LOCKS ON THE STFU!!! Cena shows an extreme amount of intensity as Kennedy screams in pain, with the devastating submission hold locked in!! Kennedy is in dire straights as Cena has his finishing submission move locked in … with Kennedy in the middle of the ring, no ropes around! Cena keeps the hold locked in as Mr. Kennedy begins to crawl for the ropes!! With the crowd willing him on, Kennedy surprisingly is able to move closer to the ropes and reaches out … BUT HE CANT GRAB THE ROPES!!! Cena continues to apply a sever amount of pressure to the hold as Kennedy continues to struggle! Kennedy raises his hand up, maybe ready to tap and ……. GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!! The audience erupts but Cena keeps the hold locked in as the referee begins the five count which sees Cena break it on four, avoiding the disqualification.

Cena tries to stay focused, but cannot hide his displeasure with Kennedy not submitting to the STFU. He lifts Kennedy up to his feet but Mr. Kennedy rakes his eyes. He then kicks Cena in the gut, grabs him by the hand and shoots him into the ring ropes. Cena comes back and attempts a clothesline but Kennedy ducks it and lifts Cena up onto his shoulders!! He then rolls forward and NAILS CENA WITH A KAMIKAZE!!!! Kennedy then leans back on Cena and grabs the leg for the cover!!!!

Kennedy climbs to the middle rope and puts Cena onto his shoulders … LOOKING FOR THE GREEN BAY PLUNGE … BUT CENA FIGHTS OUT OF IT and slides off of Kennedy‘s back, landing back in the ring!!! Winner: John Cena via pin fall at 17:22.

Cena gets back up to his feet and stares at all the crap, paper cups and empty beer cans, being thrown into the ring by the fans, furious over the loss of their hometown hero. Cena gives the fans the “You Can’t See Me” gesture once more, which garners even more heat. Mr. Kennedy gets back up to his feet, holding his back in pain, and stares at Cena, who stares right back, ready for another fight. Kennedy gets in his face and the two young superstars get nose to nose before Kennedy … EXTENDS HIS HAND!! Half the crowd is in shock while the other half cheer the sportsmanship being shown by the usually pompous Mr. Kennedy. Cena thinks about it for a second and goes to shake his hand … but Cena PULLS IT BACK!! The crowd erupts in boos as Cena waves his hand in front of Kennedy’s face and storms up the ramp! Kennedy simply stares down at his hand as the fans begin another “KENNEDY!” chant. Kennedy then stares back up at Cena, leaving through the curtain and begins mouthing “it ain’t over.”

Tazz:
Not a lot of sportsmanship being shown by John Cena there after a hard fought win.

Joey Styles:
Cena’s just a bit wound up after that incredible match up. The adrenalines flowing. You know how that is Tazz. But coming up next, the rematch of the decade. Batista-Angle 2. “I Walk Alone” hits to a thunderous level of heat. “The Animal” Batista makes his way onto the stage area and the heat picks up, as the crowd absolutely hates the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista pays no attention to the crowd, flexing before he sets off his massive pyrotechnics and continues towards the ring.

Joey Styles:
There he is! The #1 contender. Batista is ready to regain the World Heavyweight Championship that he gave up in January.

Tazz:
He’s the biggest, nastiest, meanest, toughest and most intense superstar that Kurt Angle has ever faced. As good as Angle is, can anybody beat this new Batista? Especially under the “No Holds Barred” rules …

The crowd starts a “Batista sucks” chant but The Animal pays them no mind, merely bouncing up and down, warming up for the match. Batista and the crowd wait for several more seconds before …

“Medal” hits to a absolutely deafening ovation. The crowd explodes as the World Heavyweight Champion, “The Wrestling Machine” Kurt Angle walks onto the stage area, belt strapped around his waist. Angle yells out with intensity before setting off his huge pyro and continuing on his way down to the ring. Batista and Angle lock eyes as Angle enters the ring, focused on the task at hand.

Joey Styles:
Quite possibly, the greatest World Champion in the history. The most prolific amateur wrestler and professional wrestler in the history of this great sport, the World Heavyweight Champion faces his greatest challenge tonight.

Tazz:
No Holds Barred. Anything goes. These two guys hate each other and I guarantee that there gonna rip each other to shreds. This is gonna be brutal. The two most intense athletes in the business go at it. This is it! Batista, Angle TWO!!! Its here folks!!

Match #8 - Main Event
World Heavyweight Championship
No Holds Barred
Kurt Angle-Batista II

Both superstars, the World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle and #1 Contender Dave Batista, move towards the center of the ring, eye to eye, face to face, as the referee gives them their instructions. The champion and challenger focus on one another staring a hole through one another. The referee finishes and both men back towards their respective corners and the bell rings, signaling the start of this epic match up. Angle and Batista come out of the corners and The Animal prepares for a collar and elbow tie up but Angle surprises him, SLAPPING HIM RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE!!!

The crowd responds, with some cheering but others are in total and complete shock, amazed that Angle would slap The Animal. Batista feels the side of his face in shock, before staring at Angle and calling him a “Motherfucker”, though the cameras don’t pick up any audio. Batista charges at Angle, but Kurt takes him over with a picture perfect arm drag! The crowd pops as Batista gets back up to his feet frustrated and charges at Angle once more, only to be taken over with yet another beautiful arm drag! Batista gets back up to his feet again and charges at Kurt, this time going for a clothesline but Angle ducks it and when Batista turns around ANGLE SLAPS HIM AGAIN!!!

This time all of the crowd cheers as Angle maniacally laughs, as he further embarrasses Batista. The Animal turns around to face Kurt again and The Wrestling Machine continues to laugh as Batista stares at him in complete shock. Batista charges ahead but Angle sidesteps him and sends him over the top rope, to the outside!! The crowd erupts as Angle pounds on his chest, yelling at the top of his lungs.

Batista gets back up to his feet on the outside and stares at Angle in the ring, who stares right back. Batista is pissed, kicking over the steel steps in anger before rubbing the side of his face, which is apparently still stinging after two hard slaps. Angle walks over to the edge of the ring and sits on the second rope, inviting Batista in. The Animal tells Angle to “fuck off”, which causes a smirk to come across the face of the World Heavyweight Champion, who backs up and allows him to get back into the ring.

Batista climbs onto the ring apron before re-entering and getting reset across the ring from Angle. The two look like they are going to engage in a collar and elbow tie up but Batista shows a decent amount of agility by quickly going behind. The Animal seems impressed with himself as he gives himself and the crowd a bit of a nod. Angle shakes his head in a somewhat disappointed manner before quickly dropping down, out of the grip of the #1 Contender and tripping him up, causing Batista to land on his face. Angle quickly gets on top of Batista and rapidly slaps the back of his head with both hands, receiving a raucous ovation from the crowd.
Angle gets off of Batista and The Animal quickly gets up, embarrassed and pissed. He charges at Angle in a rage but Kurt ducks his attempt at a clothesline. Batista turns around and Angle quickly grabs him, taking him down with a well executed headlock takedown. Angle cinches in the hold and Batista bangs his hand against the mat in frustration, being schooled by Angle here in the early going.

Both men get back up to their feet with Angle’s headlock still cinched in. Batista backs up into the ropes and shoots Angle into the opposite ropes. Kurt comes back and Batista takes him down with a shoulder block. ‘Tista lets out an arrogant smirk and attempts to run the ropes but Angle grabs him by the leg and trips him up. He just cant seem to get one up on Angle as the World Heavyweight Champion stares down at his fallen challenger.
Batista gets back up to his feet and charges at Angle. Kurt catches him coming in and wraps his arms around Batista. He pops the hips and lifts, taking him over with a perfect belly to belly suplex!! The crowd cheers the move as Angle goes for the lateral press, using his forearm to press against the face of Batista.

Batista kicks out…

The Animal is not particularly weakened but is on the ropes, as Angle has unleashed an offensive onslaught during the early going of this title match up. Angle lifts Batista up to his feet and drills him with a hard right hand, and then quickly follows with another … and another … and another, backing Batista into the corner. Angle begins a bit of trash talking but Batista shows some impressive tenacity, lifting Angle up and driving him all the way into the opposite turnbuckle!! Angle hit’s the turnbuckle hard as Batista shakes his head, trying to regain his faculties after Kurt’s early offense. The #1 contender decides to go after Angle in the corner but he’s in for a surprise, when Kurt grabs him and switches positions, leaving Tista in the corner.

Angle pulls back and damn near takes Batista off of his feat with a strong European uppercut! He then hits him with another hard European uppercut before grabbing him by the hand and attempting to shoot him in the corner. Batista counters the Irish whip and sends Angle in. Kurt comes back and takes him out with a strong clothesline!! He quickly gets down and goes for the cover, hooking the far leg. 1... 2... NO!

Batista kicks out! Angle goes to lift him but he gets caught with a LOW BLOW!!! The crowd erupts into a chorus of boos as Batista gets up to his feet, a slight smirk coming across his face. He sees his opportunity to go on the attack and that’s exactly what he does, mounting Angle and reigning down right hands across his face! The audience continues to shower him in heat as he completely brutalizes Angle, taking complete advantage of the low blow.

He gets off of Angle and then he lifts the World Heavyweight Champion back up to his feet before lifting him onto his shoulder and forcefully driving him into the corner! The Animal then goes to town, driving into Angle with several hard shoulder thrusts, knocking the wind right out of him!!

Batista then grabs Kurt by the hand and shoots him into the opposite corner. He then charges in but Angle manages to get his feet into the face of his oncoming opponent! Batista stumbles backwards and Angle charges out of the corner!! Batista quickly recovers and takes him over with a hard power slam!!! He hooks the far leg for the pin fall cover!

Angle manages to get a shoulder up!

Batista lifts the champion up and back to his feet. He then sticks Angle between his legs … going for a DEMON BOMB!!! He lifts Angle up to his shoulders but ANGLE COUNTERS, getting Batista in a sunset flip, before GOING FOR THE ANKLE LOCK!! The crowd cheers as Angle gets back up to a vertical base with Angle in complete control and his finishing move locked in! Batista reaches for the ropes but is too far away!! He then shows his incredible amount of strength by rolling through, SENDING ANGLE THROUGH THE ROPES AND OUT OF THE RING!!!

Batista reaches for his ankle, which is in sufficient amount of pain, even after being in the Ankle Lock for a short amount of time. Angle slowly gets up to his feet on the outside as Batista gets back up to a vertical base on the inside of the ring. The Animal reaches over the top rope in an attempt to grab his opponent but Angle reaches under the bottom rope and trips up Batista, before dragging him to the outside! Kurt goes for a right hand but Batista blocks it and plows into Angle with a knee to the gut! He follows up with a clubbing shot to the back of Angle’s head, knocking him down.

Tista then gives him a couple of hard stomps, putting the beat down on his opponent. The #1 contender lifts Angle up to his, grabs his hand and attempts to shoot him into the steps but Angle counters the Irish whip and pulls Batista to him. He wraps his arms around him, pops the hips and takes him over with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX, causing his back to slam against the thin padding on the outside!!!

The referee calls for Angle to get back inside the ring but his words hold no water, considering this is a No Holds Barred match. Angle lifts Batista back up to his feet and drills him with a hard right hand, knocking him back towards the entrance ramp. Batista attempts to hit a right but Angle blocks it and hits him with a hard right of his own, knocking him further up the entrance ramp. He then kicks Tista hard in the gut and tucks him between his legs. The crowd pops as Angle apparently goes for a PILEDRIVER of sorts but he can’t get him up! He goes for it one more time but once again Batista refuses to cooperate. Batista then lifts him up with a back body drop and ANGLE’S BACK SLAMS INTO THE HARD STEEL RAMP!!!

The crowd groans as Kurt Angle holds his back in pain, rolling on the cold steel ramp. Batista lifts Angle up, who is still in a sever amount of pain. The Animal gets him set and delivers a VERTICAL SUPLEX ON THE RAMP!!! Dejavu as Angle once again holds his back in pain after taking a second bump onto the steel steps! Batista gets up to his feet before letting out an animalistic scream, resulting in more heat as the #1 contender is in complete and utter control of this World Heavyweight Title match up.

He then arrogantly kicks Angle in the head, simply showing off his current dominance. Batista lifts Angle up to his feet and flings him over his shoulder, like a sleeping child. Batista then carries him up the ramp and onto the stage. He then charges forward AND ATTEMPTS TO SLAM ANGLE‘S FACE INTO THE STEEL SET!!! The Olympic Gold Medalist finally seems to come to life, sliding down Batista’s back right before colliding with the steel!! Batista turns around and is met with a hard right from Angle … and then another and the World Heavyweight Champion begins to light Batista up, wailing away on him with thunderous shots!!

Slowly but surely, Angle begins to back Batista up towards the edge of the stage with these hard right hands! Batista is a step or two away from falling off the stage and Angle knows it. Kurt backs up a bit before charging ahead, attempting a major blow … but Batista ducks it and fires a right at Angle. Angle is now the one in imminent peril as The Animal is on the attack!

Batista attempts a clothesline but Angle ducks it and moves under the arm of Batista … GOING FOR THE ANGLE SLAM!!!! BUT BATISTA COUNTERS … and avoids The Angle Slam by landing behind the World Heavyweight Champion! Batista kicks Angle in the gut and GOES FOR THE DEMON BOMB … BUT ANGLE FIGHTS OUT OF IT!!! He gets from between the legs of Batista and hits him with a couple of rights! Kurt Angle then charges forward at Batista but Deacon Dave catches him, showing his incredible power!! BATISTA THEN RUNS TOWARDS THE END OF THE STAGE AND DUMPS ANGLE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A “Holy Shit” chant breaks out as the camera closes up on Angle laid out amongst a shit-load of wires (there to break the fall). Batista shows no emotion on the top of the ramp, staring down at his fallen opponent as several EMTs come in to check on Angle. Styles and Tazz put over the severity of the situation, citing Angle’s neck injury, subsequent surgery and the height of the fall he just took. The EMTs bring in a stretcher and manage to put Angle on, and this World Title match in jeopardy. They wheel him out of the arena , as an “Angle” chant begins, as the fans hope the World Heavyweight Champion is not seriously injured. The camera follows as Angle is rushed to the backstage area but then quickly cuts to the face of Batista, whom is very upset that his title match has apparently come to an end.

We cut to the back as an ambulance is waiting, along with a few lower-tiered SmackDown! Superstars (Scotty Too Hotty, Funaki) and road agents but before they can load Kurt into the awaiting vehicle, the general manager of SmackDown!, Stephanie McMahon, stops them in their tracks. She barks out orders saying that this match is No Holds Barred and therefore must continue.

Our commentators, Joey Styles and Tazz, damn near blow a gasket, infuriated that Angle is being forced to continue after what just happened. The reactions from all of those involved is a sight to behold. Steph lets out a slight smirk (mainly because she’s pure evil), the EMTs are shocked that an authority figure would put one of her workers in this type of danger. The #1 contender, Batista, is happy and soon head towards through the curtain and towards the back, back on the hunt of his broken opponent.

The camera follows Batista as he walks through the backstage area and eventually makes it to where Angle, Stephanie and everyone else is. Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson and others try to keep Batista back but The Animal will here none of it. He drills Anderson with a hard right, knocking him down! Malenko attempts to restrain Batista but gets a boot to the gut for his efforts. Batista then grabs him and flings him into a nearby wall!! Scotty and Funaki try to intervene as well but receive the same treatment … an ass kicking from the #1 contender! The emergency medical technicians soon take off when Batista gives them a look. He then un-straps Angle from the stretcher and flings him onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry and begins to walk towards the ring.

An “ANGLE” chant rings out as the camera closes up on the face of Kurt Angle, showing him damn near completely out of it. Batista re-enters onto the stage, receiving an incredible amount of heat, with the World Heavyweight Champion on his shoulders. He calmly walks down the ramp with a grin on his face as Tazz and Styles solemnly say that the end of Angle’s nine month title reign is here. Batista takes the scenic route, climbing up the steel steps and tossing Angle into the ring. He soon follows and stares at Angle for a quick second before going for the academic pin fall victory. The referee hesitates to count the pin fall based on pure morals but decides there’s nothing he can do.

BATISTA GETS OFF OF ANGLE!!!

A shit eating grin comes over the face of Batista as our commentators react with disgust at his arrogance. The referee tells him to simply pin Angle to which Batista says “shut up!”, being the classy guy that he is. He then stands over Angle and begins slapping him in the face, very reminiscent of the early minutes of the match, with the roles merely reversed. The crowd once again gives The Animal a tremendous amount of heat before Batista lifts him up to a vertical base, squaring up with Angle before taking him down with a hard right. The World Champion shows no ability to make a comeback and Batista shows no sign of making this easy, knowing his opponent has no chance of fighting back. He kicks at Angle’s head, merely toying with Angle. Batista then starts yelling at Angle to “FIGHT BACK”, mocking the champion.

He slowly lifts Angle back up to his feet and takes his time, squaring him up. Batista pulls back, taking a huge swing but Angle BLOCKS IT … showing signs of life!! He fires back with a right of his own, rocking Batista! Angle’s hands immediately drop, as that punch may have been his last adrenaline rush. Batista shakes off the shot and fires one off … but once again, Angle blocks it and rocks Batista with another hard shot!! Angle fires off one more … and one more and then a knife edged chop! The crowd roars as Angle begins to fight back. He kicks Batista in the gut and shoots him off of the ropes. Kurt makes the mistake of getting set too early and big Dave makes him pay, kicking him right square in the face!

Batista then bounces off of the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Angle ducks it and takes him over with a GERMAN SUPLEX!! He keeps his hands clasped together and attempts to make it back up to his feet but he’s moving very slowly, still in tremendous pain from that huge bump he took off of the stage. He finally gets back up AND GIVES BATISTA ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX!!! He once again keeps his hands locked and gets back to his feet. He attempts to take Batista over once more but he holds onto the top rope, not allowing Angle to take him over.

Kurt clubs him in the back a couple of time, hoping to loosen his grip but Dave has a tight grasp on it. Batista then delivers a STIFF LOW BLOW TO ANGLE, who drops to the ground in pain!! Batista falls to his knees, attempting to recover from the suplexes before rolling under the bottom rope and out of the ring.

He rips the steel steps off of the base and tosses them in the ring, barely missing Angle! He then looks under the ring a bit and finds a TABLE!!! The crowd pops, happy to see some more violence in the match, even if it is against their favorite. Batista lifts the table up and tries to slide it in the ring … BUT ANGLE HIT’S A BASEBALL SLIDE COMPLETELY BLINDSIDING BATISTA!!! The table smacks Tista in the face, dropping him to the floor!! Kurt takes a second or two to regain himself and then exits the ring, attempting to capitalize.

He lifts Batista up and hits him with a hard right hand before kicking him in the gut. Angle then positions himself on the base of the steel steps and tucks Batista’s head between his legs!! The crowd begins to buzz as Angle lifts him up, GOING FOR A PILEDRIVER … BUT BATISTA FIGHTS IT!! The Animal refuses to be lifted up and uses his power to back body drop Angle off of the base of the steel steps onto the floor!! Batista lifts Angle up and rolls him into the ring, then just as quickly, grabs the table and slides it into the ring. Batista follows in and covers Angle, pressing his forearm against his face.

BATISTA KICKS OUT!!

Pissed, Angle snaps, mounting Batista and just wailing on him, hitting him with hard right after hard right!! The camera closes up on Kurt who is damn near foaming at the mouth with rage. After about a dozen punches, Angle still refuses to stop and just continues to bash in the face of The Animal. He finally lets up and gets off of Batista and then lets out an primal roar, receiving a thunderous ovation for his somewhat sadistic actions. Batista has been busted open after a stiff shot or two from Angle!

The World Heavyweight Champion leaves the ring, rolling to the outside and grabs a steel chair, much to the delight of the crowd. The Wrestling Machine slides back in and waits on Batista to get to his feet. The bloody challenger seems to be barely conscious as to what is going on as he makes it up to his feet with a somewhat blank look on his face. Batista face Kurt and Angle lets out a sick smile BEFORE NAILING HIM WITH THE CHAIR RIGHT IN THE FACE!!! Pure steel on skull contact as Batista wasn’t able to get his hands up to somewhat defect the blow. Angle doesn’t even go for the cover as this is apparently no longer about keeping the title he has held for nine months but is now about punishing his most hated rival.

He slams the chair to the mat with authority and then gets nose to nose, face to face with knocked out, bloody Batista. He gives Dave the business, trashing him right to his face until something comes to Angle’s attention. He glares at the table set up in the ring, almost as if he’s obsessed … or possessed. Angle then jumps up and down, amped up, wanting Batista to get up to his feet and the bloody challenger begins to get back up. Batista gingerly gets up and Angle kicks him in the gut. HE THEN GOES FOR THE ANGLE SLAM THROUGH THE TABLE … BUT BATISTA COUNTERS, LANDING BEHIND ANGLE!! Kurt turns around AND BATISTA LIFTS HIM UP AND SLAMS HIM THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A SPINEBUSTER!!!!!!!!!!

A “Holy Shit” chant breaks out as Angle lays among the broken pieces of wood. Batista is out on his feet … until he falls down from fatigue and blood loss after the adrenaline rush passes. The chants die down a bit as both men lie on the canvas for about a dozen seconds with no movement at all. Finally, Batista begins to make some movement, beginning a slow crawl towards his broken opponent. He finally makes it to Angle and manages to get a hand over his chest.

… THRE … NO!
ANGLE BARELY GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!

Angle manages to keep the match alive even after being put through a table and being dumped fifteen feet off of a stage. Batista slowly gets up to his feet, wiping the blood out of face as he stares down at a lifeless World Heavyweight Champion, who just refuses to give in. The Animal turns his attention to the steel steps that he threw into the ring earlier. He walks over and picks them up, preparing to do a little more damage. Angle begins to recover from that huge bump and makes it up onto his hands. Batista lifts the steps over his head AND DROPS THEM ONTO THE BACK OF ANGLE!!!!

Angle screams out in pain and Batista lets out a bloody grin. He picks the steps back up and then drops it on Angle’s back once more!!! The #1 contender begins to put this match away with complete brutality as he picks the steel steps up once more. This time instead of dropping them on Angle’s back, he waits for The Wrestling Machine to get back up to his feet. Angle gets up holding his back AND BATISTA CHARGES AHEAD, LOOKING TO SMASH HIM WITH THE STEPS … BUT ANGLE COUNTERS, USING A DROP TOE HOLD, CAUSING BATISTA’S BLOODY FACE TO SMACK THE STEPS!!!!!!

Angle gets up to his feet and lets out another yell before pulling down the straps!! Kurt walks around a bit before PUTTING BATISTA IN THE ANKLE LOCK!!!! Batista screams out in pain as Angle has the move perfectly locked in, with Batista already losing blood. Batista uses his hands to move the stairs out of the way and reached for the ropes … but he’s too far away! He uses his forearms to inch a bit closer and is a fingertip or two away from the ropes, when … Angle pulls him back towards the center of the ring and GRAPEVINES THE LEG!!!

Now Batista knows he is pretty much screwed, dead center of the ring, leg in grapevine, bleeding profusely, with Angle’s grip like a damn vice. Angle wrenches on the leg of Batista with all of his might, trying to retain the title. Batista lifts his hand up and thinks about tapping … but fight some more, trying to use his brute force to make it back towards the ropes. Dave actually makes a significant amount of progress, dragging the World Champion towards the edge of the ring. Angle’s face fills with intensity and Batista’s fills with desperation as both men know that the end may be near. Batista lifts his hand up and … GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!!

Angle keeps on the hold even after Batista reaches the ropes! The referee calls for the break and when he doesn’t get it, he attempts to pull Kurt off himself. Angle finally breaks the hold and gets back up to his feet. Frustrated, and maybe a bit disappointed, Angle lifts Batista up to his feet and rocks him with a hard right. He then measures Batista up and hits him with a hard European uppercut! He grabs Angle by the hand and shoots him into the ring ropes. When Batista comes back, Angle goes for a clothesline but Batista ducks the clothesline, bounces off the ropes once more AND RUNS THROUGH ANGLE WITH A MONSTER SPEAR!!!! Groans are heard throughout the arena as Batista almost cuts Angle in half. He can’t immediately go for the cover due to the pain in his ankle, still recovering from the Ankle Lock. He eventually manages to cover Angle with his back on Angle’s chest, hooking the far leg.

Angle once again kicks out!

Most of the fans in the arena are now on their feet, as Batista and Angle are giving it everything their have, though they have now been wrestling for over twenty minutes. Batista is the first one to his feet and he plans to put this match away. The audience, the referee and our announcers are shocked as Batista goes to the corner and begins climbing the turnbuckle! Showing his inexperience with those heights, Batista takes a while to get set. By the time he gets in position, Angle is already back up to his feet. ANGLE RUNS, QUICKLY CLIMBS THE TURNBUCKLES AND GIVES BATISTA A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX OFF OF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!!!! The arena goes ape shit as Angle just sent Batista flying into the ring. He quickly covers him, hooking the far leg.

Batista just kicks out!

Angle is irate, as neither man seems to be able to put the other one away with any maneuver. The Wrestling Machine soon refocuses and plans to go back on the attack. He lifts Batista up to his feet and hits him with a hard right, rocking the challenger, knocking him back into the corner. Angle then grabs the steel chair in the ring. He lifts it over his head and swings at Batista … but he moves out of the corner. Angle slams the chair down hard on the turnbuckle, causing it to bounce right back in his face!!! He turns back around dazed and Batista lifts him up and HIT’S A SPINEBUSTER!!!

The crowd responds with tremendous heat as Batista is feeling it now. He grabs the steel steps and drags them towards the middle of the ring. Batista then goes over the ropes and shakes them violently. He turns around to the fans and gives the “Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down” sign before quickly flipping the fans off, which results in more heat. Batista lifts Angle up and sticks him between his legs, GOING FOR THE DEMON BOMB … BUT ANGLE COUNTERS, RUSHING FORWARD AND SENDING BATISTA INTO THE CORNER!!!!

Angle then lets loose on him, hitting him with hard right hands, followed by a hard European uppercut! Kurt knows its crunch time as he is just unloading on Batista with everything he has. Angle then climbs onto the turnbuckle and begins reigning shots down on Batista as the fans count along. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... BATISTA HIT’S A LOW BLOW!!! He then seizes the opportunity by lifting Angle up and bringing him towards the middle of the ring in a power bomb position. BATISTA THEN DEMON BOMBS ANGLE ON THE STEEL STEPS THAT WERE SET UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winner: … and NEW World Heavyweight Champion … BATISTA via pin fall at 24:25.

Both Batista and Angle lay on the ground in pain, un able to move. Kurt seems unconscious but Batista is only slightly better off, blood still pouring from the NEW World Heavyweight Champion’s forehead. The referee grabs the championship from the timekeeper and places it on the chest of Batista. The two superstars lay on the ground for quite a bit until Batista begins to move, slowly getting up to his feet.

Joey Styles:
That was one of the damndest matches I have ever seen. Oh … my … gawd.

Tazz:
That was absolutely incredible Styles. Blood and guts all over this ring but tonight, by hook or crook, Batista, “The Animal” has recaptured the World Heavyweight Championship!

Joey Styles:
It took a low blow, it took throwing Angle off of a stage, it took a Demon Bomb on the steps but the nine month title reign of Kurt Angle is over!

Tazz:
What a match! What a pay per view!

Joey Styles:
I’m Joey Styles and for my broadcast partner Tazz, thank you for joining us in what has turned out to be a phenomenal pay per view. Thank you for watching No Mercy!!

We go off the air with Batista leaning against the ropes, bleeding from the gash in his forehead, clutching his newly won World Title as Angle stares at Batista, title reign over.

END OF SHOW

That looked like an absolutely amazing PPV, Mac me buddy. I'll be getting straight to work on a full - and no doubt praising - review as soon as possible. Brilliant!

No Mercy Review by Brye ( I suck at reviews )

Alright I have been waiting for a while to check this out and it looks very good.

The Opening video package itself was amazing and everything sounded good. The package was incredibly written and shows the history of the feuds very well

Match #1: I really like the combonation of Helms and Shelton. Makes a good team. The match itself was very good and had alot of good action. Great work with the ending which was great. Hooliganz pick up the win with a School boy and Helms may have possibly been injured

Match #2: Lashley vs Kane looks pretty good. Suprising to see Kane kick out of the running powerslam and some good action in the match. Nice to see Lashley pick up the win in the end

Match #3: Hardy vs Mysterio. Sounds like a really heated feud and looks good. The match itself is very good and has some really nice spots. The ending is great as Rey gets hit in the face with a chair while springboarding, Bravo

Match #4: Daniels vs Sabin. Very good Cruiserweight match. Lots of near falls thorught it and momentum changes. The ending was once again great. Danger comes out and gives the distraction Daniels needs and hits the low blow and Angels wings. Nice

Match 5: HHH vs Finlay. This was also a very heated feud. Great match with alot of good brawl action. HHH had it won and I was suprised he didnt. Finlay wins after the ref wakes up. Very good match and the first of the 4 main events

Match 6: King Booker vs The Rock. The Rocks returning match and its very good. Many near falls and another match with an incredible ending. Hunter helping out the Rock using the sledgehammer was pretty damn suprising

Match 7: Kennedy vs Cena. Oh Kennedys the home town hero in this one. The crowd seemed to be on Kennedys side the whole match. Cena wins with the FU and the fans erupt in anger throwing stuff at him. Then kennedy tries to shake his hand and Cena pulls away.

Main Event: Batista vs Angle II. This match was an incredible Main event. Lots of good weapon shots and near falls throught it. The finishing Demon Bomb on the steps was incredible. Batista picks up the win to get the belt. I didnt read Batista/Angle I but this one was incredible. Great main event.

Overall this PPV is incredible and every match was great. The grammar was good and so was everythnig else.10/10

Well its time for me to catch up here, eh? I haven't been keeping an eye on this for awile, but I will be getting back into it. I have a few PPV reviews I need to do, or at least one I have been working hard on, this will be next and hopefully I'll get it done. It looks nice a lot of results that don't look right to me, but we'll see what I think in full detail, nice to see the thread's going to be back rolling soon after the reviews come in for this.

Full review of DDMac’s No Mercy PPV

This is going to be very long, the fact that you put as much detail as you do into your shows is incredible. The opening segment was terrific, really hyped up the major matches for the PPV nicely. I’m going to go match by match...

Match #1 - Shelton Benjamin & Gregory Helms vs. The Hooligans
This could be a show stealer with the talent in this match. Kendrick is the one Benjamin and Helms isolate, they’re doing a good job of cutting the ring off and keeping London out of the matchup. Nice job of frequently putting over the smooth teamwork between Benjamin & Helms. I love Shelton’s leap to the top rope/superplex spot, nice utilization of it on London in this match. Very well written finish to the match, after Shelton hit the T-Bone on London I thought Benjamin & Helms were going to win the belts. Nice way to captivate the reader by having these four in the ring to start off the show, it has me hooked from the get go.

Match #2 - US Title Match - Kane vs. Bobby Lashley
The battle of two monsters, should be a good powerful matchup. As expected lots of tests of strength in the beginning. The match really starts to pick up towards the middle portion as the power moves begin to be executed. Nice near fall when Lashley grabs the bottom rope after the chokeslam from hell. Very nice spot with Lashley working his way back out of the Tombstone and countering it directly into the running powerslam! You really put Lashley over towards the end of the match with the consecutive moves he executed. The belly to belly after Kane leaped off the top rope was impressive followed by the spear and the Dominator. New US champion, nice decision and very well written match overall.

King Booker/Sharmell/Finlay/Regal segment
Nice job of building potential dissension within the group in this segment, although King Booker at the end believes that they are still on the same page.

Match #3 - Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio
Another nice job of incorporating near falls in this matchup, you write matches very realistically. Having Mysterio kick out of the school boy even with Hardy grabbing a handful of tights was a nice touch. I like the writing to have Rey hit the 619 but have Hardy move out of the way of the springboard leg drop. Another kick out after the side effect, nice job of putting over Rey’s resiliency in this match. Hardy takes out the ref with the Twist of Fate, I didn’t see that coming. Chavo comes out to help Rey and Hardy takes him out then eventually hits him with the chair as Mysterio was in mid air after the springboard. I like the decision to have the DQ ending to continue the feud.

Kurt Angle segment
Angle was perfectly in character and the promo was very well written.

Match #4 - Cruiserweight Title Match - Christopher Daniels vs. Chris Sabin
Interesting to see you’ve incorporated some TNA mainstays into your BTB, this should be a quality matchup. I’m curious to see how you will push Daniels in the near future. Sabin hitting the helo off the top rope into the crowd on Daniels was a nice touch. Having Sabin kick out of the Last Rites was good writing. Allison Danger coming down to help Daniels is great, nice to see you’ve brought her into the WWE along with the Fallen Angel. Angel’s Wings by Daniels and we have a new cruiserweight champion, four matches into No Mercy and we already have two new champions! With Daniels & Sabin having had multiple matches recently in TNA you did a nice job of going away from certain spots they incorporated in their matches in real life.

Match #5 - Triple H vs. Finlay
This is somewhat of a dream match and should be very intriguing to read. I like how you put over Finlay’s ring intelligence by distracting the referee with the chair so he could get the shillelagh to take out Triple H’s knee. Finlay’s really working over HHH’s knee until he comes back as a house of fire, near fall with the spinebuster. I really thought Finlay was going to go through the announce table, nice writing having Trips grab the bottom rope to break the pinfall after going through the table. HHH kicks out of the Celtic Cross, great job of putting over his resiliency in this matchup. With the toughness of the two competitors, I’m guessing one of these guys may have to be knocked out to lose this. Pedigree by HHH but the ref is down, Finlay eventually uses the shillelagh and picks up the upset! Great booking to put Finlay over in this matchup, I definitely agree with that decision and as I expected one of them had to be knocked unconscious to lose.

Match #6 - The Rock vs. King Booker
I like the writing to have The Rock roll through the school boy and attempt to lock on the Sharpshooter. The Rock kicks out of Booker’s finisher much to his dismay. 2nd straight match where a superstar has kicked out of his opponent’s finisher, adds suspense to the matchup and puts over that wrestler’s resiliency. Now Booker kicks out of the Rock Bottom, heck of a matchup right here. Finlay and Triple H get involved, it’s pure mayhem until The Rock hits the People’s Elbow and scores the pinfall. Overall a solid match and a big win for The Rock, I expect King Booker to blame Finlay for his loss.

Match #7 - John Cena vs. Ken Kennedy
Kennedy in his home town, I’m intrigued to see if he’ll score the upset win in this contest. Nice job of illustrating just how much the crowd is behind the home town boy during the match. Kennedy scores the pin but the ref sees his feet on the ropes for leverage, excellent writing as I thought he stole the victory right there. Kennedy hits the FU himself but Cena rolls out of the way out of the Kenton Bomb. This match has a lot of suspense, captivating writing in this one. Cena picks up the victory much to the crowd’s dismay. I thought Kennedy was still going to pick up the win. Nice post match addition to show that the feud is not over and to draw heat on Cena even more.

Main event - World Heavyweight Title Match - Batista vs. Kurt Angle
Fantastic, creative thinking to have Angle taken out like that but then have to continue the match. Batista is getting over a super heel with this big time and Angle is now the ultimate baby face, even more so than when the match began. Great suspense throughout the contest and Batista hits the sit down powerbomb on the stairs to become the new World Heavyweight Champion! Three new champions in one night. You did a hell of a job of making this a great match, knowing that it is dam near impossible to do so through sheer wrestling with Batista involved. Very creative work in this.

Overall this was one hell of a Pay Per View. Great match after great match it kept my attention throughout, excellent work.

I hope we can exchange reviews on the reg in the future and any feedback on my Against All Odds PPV would be greatly appreciated.
