Reigns and Jindrak look to be on a roll, and must be considered a threat for the tag titles, even if I don’t see them getting the win when they get the shot

Rated R Army are on the verge of a huge split, and it has to happen soon, as there is just too much tension between them. Edge is not looking too confident at the moment you must presume

JBL vs. Austin at Bad Blood will be good, and Vince looks to be in a fighting mood tonight. That match will be interesting, and the start of Austin’s comeback I would guess

Orton steals one over Benoit, but only due to Big Show distracting Benoit, and then he dismantles him afterwards. Wouldn’t want to be Benoit, as Show is looking good, and to be honest, this feud is a bit strange, as I don’t see their styles mixing well. Orton gets another win, but isn’t heading anywhere obvious

HBK looks to have no fear of Taker, and he does appear to be verging towards becoming a tweener. Just the way I interpreted that promo, but it was slightly heelish, although the same can be said for the actions of Taker

Masters steals one Carlito, and that isn’t going to stop him bragging to the Army about it, and is only going to cause more tension

Mickie keeps the title, but only through a DQ. This feud is likely to end soon, as I don’t know how much more there is, and I’m guessing it will have some kind of gimmick match, as it deserves one, and would give a good match

Umaga gets a shock win over HBK, but it was all down to Estarda really, but that has to put Umaga in contention for a title shot. Surprised to see HBK lose going into his title match next week, as it doesn’t make him look that strong. Taker makes the save though, and he and HBK have a stare down to end the show. No title change next week, but Umaga causes the DQ, and we get a triple threat

Damn right they had to win. Jindrak/Reigns teaming never really took off on SD! a few years back and a feud with AMW could be an unknown goody. It's only a matter of weeks before the Rated R Army split, at the very latest they won't pass Survivor Series as a unit IMO

Edge still refusing to show up on RAW, my bet os he'll return and have an impact on the WWE Title match at Unforgiven perhaps. Not good timing for JBL and he's booked against Austin for Unforgiven! haha!

Orton wins thanks to Big Show, I think it's time for Benoit to beat show at Unforgiven, as while he's OK, Show isn't really great to use in BTB as his matches are terrible. Big Show tries to attack Benoit after the match but only gets a Military Press over the ropes in

Hmm, HBK turning heel or maybe acting tweener? Masters will no doubt have an IC title match with Carlito at Unforgiven considering he just pinned the champ in a non-title match

Ah typical Mickie mark you are. Maybe after Unforgiven MJ can get a new opponent for her title, or if she loses, stay away from the scene for a month or so. Eh Umaga already being pushed into the main event? I hope Foley foils his plans

Umaga wins and it seems he'll most likely join the WWE title picture, which is were you can only hope Mick Foley takes him away from it until he's made into a credible monster

Recap was good. 8/10

Hey been a while man. Anyway, here is a review. Hopefully we continue to review eachothers shows.

HBKicon Reviews RAW

Eugene/Hacksaw vs. Reigns/Jindrack: Great way to start the show with new number one contenders for the tag titels. I see a title run in Reigns and Jindracks future.

Rated R Army Promo: Nice to see Nitro getting some crediblity in this amazing heel group. But yeah, without Edge, the Rated R Army isn't too srong.

McMahon Promo: This would have been very entertaining on Tv. I can just picture it...I luaghed.

JBL Promo: This would be great too!! Both JBL and McMahon can talk on the stick and this would have been very entertaining. JBL vs. Austin will be great.

Benoit vs. Orton: This seems like a very good match. Every time they get in the ring together, it will be good. Big Show comes to the ring forcing Benoit to lose. Nice way to continue their fued.

Aftermatch: Very good after match here. It showed Big Shows dominence and power.

HBK Promo: I am diging a fued with Taker. HBK was his usual cool self here with a a very cocky comment. Nice job.

Carlito vs. Masters: Is this a push for Masters?

Umaga Promo: Nice promo here from AAE. I wonder what will happen tonight?

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James: Nice womens match here and a great ending to continue this fued.

Umaga vs. HBK: Nice main event here with a surprise ending with Umaga going over. I loved the stare down to close the show. I wonder what will happen next week?

Overall: This was a great recapped show. I am back now and I can't wait to read more! Nice job.

Alright here's the deal. I got a few reviews to dish out (KOP's PPV and the usual reviews I dish out. Leave your predictions for No Mercy.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown!

October 6, 2006

We kick off the night with King Booker (with Queen Sharmell and Sir William Regal). Booker runs down The Rock, trashing him, calling him a washed up star who isn’t a good wrestler or actor. Rock makes his presence known, coming out onto the stage and mocks Booker before rattling off his signature catchphrases. Rocky then sprints towards the ring but Booker bails out of the ring, causing Regal to be the recipient of a Rock Bottom.

After the commercial break, the Cruiserweight Champion Chris Sabin and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels are forced to team up against Jamie Noble and Kid Kash. Daniels and Sabin have several miscommunications when The Fallen Angel ‘accidentally’ misses Sabin’s attempts to tag into the match. Kash and Noble hit a double team move on Sabin while Daniels has the ref distracted to pick up the tag team victory. After the match, Daniels apologizes to Sabin but the camera catches The Fallen Angel smirking afterward.

In a backstage interview, Mr. Kennedy trashes John Cena with the typical insults, calling him Vanilla Ice and things of the sort. The crowd responds by giving Kennedy a mixed reaction, as apparently half the crowd is enamored by his charisma. Kennedy puts over the magnitude of the No Mercy match and then hypes the tag team main event (one of two) for the night, with Kennedy and Matt Hardy teaming up against Rey Mysterio and Cena.

After a commercial break, we return to in ring action with Shelton Benjamin (w/Gregory Helms) taking on Brian Kendrick (w/Paul London & Ashley). The two men put on a fast paced, athletic contest. After a Helms distraction, Benjamin hits London with a T-Bone Suplex to pick up the victory. The Hooligans once again lose the match, unable to figure out the team of Benjamin and Helms, only two days away from No Mercy.

Kurt Angle does an interview with Kristal Marshall. Angle shows an incredible level of intensity when discussing Angle-Batista II, which takes place at No Mercy. Angle puts over the unpredictability of a No Holds Barred match and guarantees the same result that took place during their SummerSlam match up.

In The Rock’s locker room, Triple H barges in. Hunter warns Rocky to stay out of his main event match with King Booker. Rock reminds HHH that he faces Booker at No Mercy and will be out there to scout Booker. Hunter says that he’s gonna send a message to Finlay tonight by running through Booker and nobody (“and I mean nobody”) is gonna get in his way.

In a huge match, “The Animal” Dave Batista takes on the United States Champion Kane in a non-title match. The #1 contender for the U.S. Title Bobby Lashley watches from ringside as Batista and Kane go to war. Towards the end of the match, Kane gains the upper hand and Batista wants no more, grabbing a steel chair and entering the ring. Lashley enters the ring, only to be drilled by Batista!! The Animal then turns his attention to Kane and drills him as well!!

The dominance of Batista is on full display as he raises his arms above his head, letting out a barbaric yell as he stands above two monsters. The crowd absolutely erupts as the World Heavyweight Champion, “The Wrestling Machine” Kurt Angle sprints toward the ring. Batista takes a swing with the chair but Angle ducks and nails Tista with right hands. He then goes for The Angle Slam but Batista manages to get out of it and quickly exit’s the ring and backpedals up the ramp. Angle fumes in the ring as the two men have a stare down.

After the commercial break, we get ready for our first main event. Matt Hardy and Mr. Kennedy team up team up to take on Rey Mysterio and John Cena. The heels dominate the majority of the match up until Mysterio makes the hot tag to Cena. The Doctor of Thuganomics enters the ring and goes into superman mode, clearing everything in his path. Kennedy bails up the ramp. Mysterio hits Hardy with the 619 and then Cena lifts Matt up and hits him with the FU for the victory!!

In the King’s locker room, Booker, Finlay and William Regal talk strategy for the main event. Finlay tells Booker to leave him some of Triple H for No Mercy and then the three men (& Queen Sharmell) head off.

In the final match of the evening and the official main event, King Booker takes on “The King of Kings” Triple H. The two men go about ten minutes, giving the fans a good match but still saving it for the pay per view on Sunday. Towards the end of the contest, Finlay interferes but it backfires and Finlay drills Booker with the shillelagh!! Hunter then drops Finlay with a Pedigree and goes back to cover Booker for the three count.

Before Hunter can begin celebrating, Regal attacks Triple H. Booker and Finlay join in on the beat down but not for too long as THE ROCK makes sprints for the ring and enters. Rocky hits right hands and The Game soon gets back up to his feet and the two icons fight back to back, among thunderous applause from the crowd. Rock and Hunter soon knock all three men from the ring and engage in a stare down with each other. They both somewhat nod and then go over to their separate turnbuckles, climbing up and talking trash to King Booker and Finlay as Tazz and Joey Styles give us one final hard sell for the pay per view.

END OF SHOW

WWE: RAW – October 2nd, 2006 - Review
Reigns and Jindrak pick up a well-deserved victory and they also get some momentum for their feud with America’s Most Wanted. – Break up the Rated R Army is what all I can say after reading this promo. – Edge still doesn’t get a title shot, so he’s still not coming. I like the concept of this storyline but hopefully the same thing doesn’t happen on each week. – Lol, JBL vs. Stone Cold at Bad Blood is announced, and I believe that was announced in a good fashion. – Fifteen minute mark match-up on a TV show? Oh god! That’s unbelieveable. If it was main-event, then it’d been good, but it is just a second match, and fifteen minutes!? Wow. I really didn’t like it. However, I loved Big Show’s distraction which caused Benoit to lose (I still can’t believe how Orton got up and hit an RKO after being in the Crippler Crossface for some time – You made Benoit and his finishing move look weak.) And in the aftermath, Big Show tries to Chokeslam Benoit, but he fights!? (Now you made Orton’s RKO look weak.) – Interesting Michaels’ promo there, though they are still faces yet and something needs to be done. – Masters beats Carlito in a cheating fashion, and what next? – Estrada’s promo was good, but I believe Michaels will beat Umaga though. – Your love, Mickie disqualifies herself, but retains the title. – Haha, oh my god! You have really killed Shawn Michaels/Undertaker feud’s momentum and Michaels’ momentum too. Michaels is a WWE Champion, you need to realize and Umaga pinning him made him look worse. Oh my god, I still cannot believe how you ‘once again’ killed the build-up of Michaels/Taker (Which can be done in an awesome way.) Aftermath was expected though, with ‘Taker’s turn but it’ll be like same every week, so you need to do something. Maybe turn Michaels or ‘Taker so then you’ll not have to do same things week after week.

WWE: SmackDown! - October 6th, 2006 – Review
I have seen these types of opening promos so many times. But still, it was good because it hyped Booker/Rock’s feud. – I think it’d been okay if Daniels would have turned on Sabin now because it’d added great amount of fuel in the Cruiserweight Championship match at No Mercy, which haven’t got that much of a build-up. But I think that you are going to make this feud longer, which looks to have potential, if done in a right way. – Kennedy cuts a sweet and short promo. It added a bit hype to his feud with John Cena. – I really like Benjamin and Helms as a tag team. Anyway, glad to see Benjamin pinning Kendrick to get him and his team some momentum heading into No Mercy, which they really needed. – I’d love to see Angle retain the Championship against Batista (Who has no charisma at all.) It was an okay promo, and it felt like that you are just creating some gap between matches and feuds just because the promos aren’t looking special. – Hunter and Rock seemed out of character in this promo. Let’s see what happens tonight. – I don’t like the way that you are building Angle/Batista feud, involving Batista in a match with Kane. You need to capitalize more on building your feuds. – Cena pinning Matt and getting some momentum heading into No Mercy is nice. Though I still feel that Kennedy should have got that momentum. – I can’t imagine Booker giving a good match, lol. He’s just bland in matches. Finlay attacking Booker seemed pointless to me though because he needs to realize on Triple H rather than Booker, or anyone else. Aftermath was just okay.

No Mercy Predictions
